Note: I encourage match writers to step outside the box when writing my characters. I’d love to see a wide variety of moves, whether or not I’ve listed them or not as long as they’re realistic. I don’t want to use a shooting star press with Porky, but a Burning Hammer is totally acceptable. Go crazy when writing my characters
ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
“One Finger and Fist” by Drowning Pool
Ring Attire:
Porky tends to wear his street clothing in a ring, which consists of a tee shirt and jeans, with boots covering his feet. Also, in his entrance, Porky wears a sleeveless leather jacket with thumbtacks sewn into the back, giving Porky the look of needles on his back (hence his nickname)
Ring Entrance:
As “One Finger and a Fist” begins over the PA, Porky charges out of the ring, his trademark leather jacket shining beneath the lights. Walking briskly down the ring, Porky shows the crowd his “one finger” several times before finally reaching the ring. Using the stairs to climb into the ring, Porky repeatedly yells “Where am I?” while his music fades out.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Jack Black with a beard
Gimmick:
A man who suffers from short-term memory loss.
Bio:
Porky has never thought he was crazy. Even when he stabbed the playground bully with a kitchen knife he had brought to school one morning, Porky still didn’t know he was crazy, he didn’t remember just how out of his mind he was. Suffering from short-term Amnesia since a toddler, Porky struggling in school in his early years, suffering from bullying due to his mental condition and his weight problems. Finally, one day something clicked and he fought back. Sadly, he fought back away that got him in legal issues and finally got him deemed mentally insane. Stabbing the child over twenty times, the court put Porky away, sending him off to the Southwest Virginia Mental Institute at the age of ten years old.
There he would stay for the next thirteen years, meeting one Nathan von Liebert in the process. They, along with a few of the other members of the institute formed a friendship that would last for years.
Then, suddenly, Nathan was gone, whisked away by a wrestler who had been a temporary member of the institute. Instead of forgetting his friend from the past, Porky would watch his friend succeed as a wrestler. Somewhere along the way, he even decided he wanted to be a wrestler too. Porky would get that chance, too, training with a local company, where he proved himself to be a brutal, hardcore competitor. He quickly made a name for himself, earning himself a tour of a Japanese company known for their deathmatches. Porky would work with this company for several months, exceling in their hardcore division.
Then, out of the blue, Porky is visited by his old friend Nathan, who brought him a simple statement: “Its time for you to return to the States. It was time we reformed Ward 6.”
So Porky made his return to the states, looking to work with his old friend, looking to make his name as big as his partner.
