CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Josh Hutcherson
Gimmick:
Hunter is a naive kid. He takes almost everything literally, much to the chagrin of some people. He loves wrestling and hopes to do well, but having fun and meeting new people are also high on his list.
Bio:
Hunter grew up without ever having to worry about a thing. His parents were well off, but that didn't keep them from getting a divorce when he was in elementary school. Hunter was old enough to remember his dad, but after the divorce those were the last of his memories. He was raised by his mom, and was very much a momma's boy. Being the momma's boy of a mother with money led him to be quite popular in junior high and high school. If he couldn't charm people into being his friends, he'd throw the party everyone wanted to go to and invite everyone. Hunter always felt the need and want to be accepted anywhere he went, possibly because the lack of his father in his life.
While in Junior High, Hunter's mother remarried. It was a struggle with Hunter and his new stepdad from the start. His stepdad believed his mother was spoiling him and tried at all corners to try and hedge his spending and what he called extortion of his mother. But she still wouldn't budge, even going so far as to buy him a brand new motorcycle the day he turned 16.
The struggle continued as Hunter finished Junior High and moved into High School. Inbetween his Sophomore and Junior year tragedy struck. Hunter's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a two year battle, Hunter's mother passed away a few months before Hunter's graduation day.
What should have been viewed as a time of celebration in Hunter's life quickly turned into a nightmare. Losing his mother was devastating to Hunter. Not having his father around, his mother passing away, and his step-dad thinking he was a spoiled brat, Hunter didn't know what to do. Hunter went on to finish high school and graduate, but no one came to watch Hunter's graduation.
Hunter's mother left all her property to Hunter's stepfather. Despite the animosity between her beloved son and her husband, she still loved them both with all her heart. She believed that he would do what was best for Hunter. Hunter's stepfather took everything back that his mother has 'frivilously' purchased him. He left Hunter with a small college fund and his motorcycle and told him to make something of himself.
Hunter, being a strong willed young man, took this in stride. He enrolled at Arizona State University and was accepted. He finished two and a half years of school before deciding that without a major he had no roadmap of where he wanted to go. During this time he decided that Pro-Wrestling was something he had always wished to do.
He started a twitter account to get in touch with some of the wrestlers he had been watching in GDW, PDW, FGA, XWA, and SVW among others. Through this new networking, on a trip to see Platinum Dynasty Wrestling's Legendary, he asked to spar with PDW/FGA wrestler Dom Harter to see if he could keep up. Through this chance meeting, he then began to train with Dom and work his way into wrestling shape.
After a month or so of training with Dom, he decided to move from Phoenix to Philidelphia to train, instead of travelling back and forth. Now living with Dom, and dating Alexa Graham, Hunter has decided he has trained enough to get his career started. Time will tell how ready he truly is, but he believes it's time to get things rolling.
