Ring Entrance:
A song crashes into the P.A. system that sounds of static and a guitar. The lights begin to flash a violent red frantically. As the song "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon really kicks in, the lights continue to flash red. A silhouette appears at the entrance. With a controlled stagger, Jimmy Page comes from the back, head down and arms out from his sides. Page swaggers down to the ring in at a methodical pace. The camera gets a close up of his hair covered face as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at the top of the ramp, flinging his hair from his eyes and glaring around, chewing on a piece of gum. Through the static red, a spotlight follows Page as he makes his way to the front of the ring. He takes a running start, sliding on top of the apron. He stands, gets in the ring, then climbs on top of the turnbuckle. Page spits his gum outside of the ring, into the crowd. Jimmy leaps down from the turnbuckle, and begins to slither down into a seat on the lower turnbuckle; Placing his head against the middle turnbuckle, knocking the back of it against the corner gently as he awaits the bell.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Brian Pillman
Gimmick:
Delusional. Solitary. Never docile. Uncanny. Jimmy's mindset is usually unpredictable, and it goes to show that you can't always read what someone's thinking by the way they look. He's unstable, and most of the time rambles on about things people don't care about, but each little ramble of nonsense means something in his mind. From the occasional breakdown to the mean-streak that makes him a bit of a loose cannon amongst others, Jimmy expresses himself fully and clearly. Most people think he's insane or has a mental illness, but Jimmy in his world just sees a bigger spectrum that people call "reality" Jimmy may not be that intellectually suffice by his standards but his "street smarts" and his loner mentality make for a perfect cocktail of uncanny possibility. In the ring, he's a hybrid. His style is stiff, relentless, and very methodical. He's not afraid to use the environment around him. When he lets his ruthless side come about, mainly in very vicious matches, he's not afraid to get busted open, or put his body through pain to win. A black-eye, a busted lip, a lost tooth, even if he gets his face bloodied he won't stop until the other person can't move. He's like a wild animal that stalks his prey, they can put up a fight, but in the end he'll win.
Strengths:
1. Don't get in a land war with Jimmy Page:He's a stiff relentless brawler, one of the best in FGA. Don't fight with him on the ground if you aren't prepared for a long, and malicious war.
2. Killer Instinct: Page has the amazing ability to strike and make it count. He seizes opportunities and makes good on everything he does, making sure that he puts his opponent down.
3. Flint Zombie: Beat him, beat him up real good, it has a knack for taking unbelievable abuse and then coming back for more. Some might say it's iron will, some say that he's got a jaw made out of obsidian, or maybe he's just dead inside and is waiting for someone to end it...?
Weakness:
1. No Fly Zone: Page has some trouble with speedy wrestlers shown in the past against people like Cyncity and co. He's sometimes too stubborn to adapt to their style and overcompensates the need to ground them, leading to him being sloppy.
2. Wrestling For Dummies: More Technical Sound wrestlers like Riley Owens have cause Page problems too. They like to grind him, break away at him, and keep coming at him. Sometimes Page can keep up, other times...he gets caught in their rhythm, which lost him the Pride Championship a long time ago.
3. Savage: His mental break downs can get him into trouble. He doesn't like anyone, he would rather see them burn in an ocean of Hellfire then see them succeed. He's barbaric, he's unstable, and people don't trust him. This causes problems in tag team matches, which makes Page a hazard.
Bio:
Jimmy didn't grow up with a lot. He was born into a very bad part of Michigan where death happened more than the harsh snowfall in the city. Jimmy's always been on his own, foster homes couldn't hold him, even the adoption agency didn't seem to want to deal with him. Jimmy believed he could live on his own and by his own rules. So at twelve he was living out on the streets, stealing candy bars and chips from local stores, sleeping in hold apartment complexes where the junkies stayed. If he wasn't sleeping there, he would sneak into school and sleep in the gym locker room's shower floor. It wasn't a very great lifestyle but it was his. Many years later Jimmy graduated school with an average GPA, though he wasn't really trying.
Jimmy didn't have a goal in life, and didn't want to go to college because he didn't have enough cash for it. Making a little bit of money from odd jobs he took up during his high school days wouldn't get him to Yale. Jimmy however had a change of mind. There was a flyer for a wrestling school, wrestling, Jimmy saw a few shows as a kid, was a pretty competent fan and knew about what was going on. With that knowledge he decided he's try his hand at it. The training there was harsh, but they liked his talent, seeing something good in him. They said he was like a rabid dog when he worked, he didn't know how to take that, maybe a compliment? Who knows? Jimmy wrestled in a few indy promotions around Michigan before landing at this company’s door mat. Now he's on a fast track to...pretty much wherever he wants to go....
