Ring Entrance
“Ready or Not” starts as the lights go out and a single purple light shines down on Heather Halliwell as she saunters through the curtain onto the stage. Her cowgirl hat is low over her head hiding her face. She bobs her head and sways her body to the beat for a moment and as the main line of the song sounds, smoke shoots from the floor and she throws off her ring jacket, pointing to the cheering crowd. She makes her way to the ring, slapping hands with the fans. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and quickly makes her way to the farthest turnbuckle. She poses at the top, pointing to the crowd, getting them pumped up for her match. She does this on every turnbuckle before removing her hat and focusing on her challenger.
Ring Attire
At the stage, she's wearing a long leather jacket, similar to what America's Most Wanted wore in TNA. She throws it off at the stage when her song kicks up. Her actual wrestling gear is short wrestling tights, main color black with changing secondary colors on the stripes and name. Her halter top is the same, changing colors with her ring tights, keeping necessary parts covered. Her boots, knee and elbow pads change color with the stripes on her tights. Her hair is always braided.
Daily Attire
Heather has a very relaxed style. Your most likely to see her in blue jeans, tank tops, cowboy hats and boots. At work, she’ll stick to her South-Western style, she’ll just dress it up a little.
Bio
Long story short, Heather has been in the wrestling business for just over 12 years. She performed in a string of indy feds before getting noticed by XWF in 2005. She had a long standing reputation as a morally upright, positive role model for budding women’s wrestlers. This and her unique wrestling style got her noticed by current XWF Universal Champion, Steve Jason and their on/off romance became a source of rumor and envy for years to come. After separating and reuniting several times due to circumstances out of their control, the two finally reunited for what seemed to be for good in 2007. The two had a set of twins and adopted Heather’s late sister’s daughter together. The two retired together in 2008 to raise their children away from the drama and limelight.
In late 2011, Heather returned to wrestling after a mini-retirement to a fed called WGWF. No one is quite sure what happened, but Heather underwent a drastic personality switch, dropping all her morals and values. She broke off her engagement to Steve Jason and abandoned her family, falling into drug addiction and a promiscuous lifestyle. She made many enemies along the way, including PDW co-owner, Star. This is her most noted rivalry, one that was fueled after Heather attacked a budding talent and ended her career early. Despite being one of the most famous names in the fed at the time, it was tied with an incredible losing streak what would shake her confidence and cause her to break down completely. This led her to finally hitting rock bottom. She left WGWF and sent herself to rehab.
In late 2012, she was cleared to return to a normal life. Her friend and social worker, Chloe O’Brien, took her right to Philadelphia, PA after hearing Star had reopened PDW. Heather was extremely apprehensive to be working for her former enemy after the heinous things she’d done to Star in WGWF. But she was a different woman, not quite her old self, but better than what she’d become. Slowly but surely, she gained Star’s trust, something she doesn’t take for granted. She started in PDW as a personal assistant to Star, which turned into a GM role. Unfortunately, Heather realized quickly that she wasn’t ready to play a behind the scenes role for PDW and after discussing it with Star and Angel, who was acting co-GM at the time, they agreed that Heather belonged in the ring.
During that time, another up and coming federation, Exodus, turned their eyes to Heather and invited her to join a “Twitter Invitation” match. Heather jumped at the opportunity, which is where she met her current boyfriend, FGA’s own Dom Harter. The two started to spend time together leading up to the big match, and they ended up hitting it off quite by accident which led to a romantic relationship in February of 2013. It may very well be because of Dom that Heather has landed herself in FGA. Many will speculate as to why Heather has suddenly decided to join after being linked to Dom for near to four months. But one thing is for sure: A veteran though she may be, Heather is undoubtedly in the prime of her career.
