" Just Because" by Jane's Addiction
Ring Attire:
Marx wears mostly black singlet tights splattered with a secondary light color, dark boots with "Usual" vertically one one side and "Suspects" down the other, and dawns a dark red hooded pullover sweatshirt that always obscures his face during the entrance. He also always has massive amounts of tape around his fists and wrists.
Tryon also wears singlet tights, but tends to be a little more creative with different designs. He wears matching dark boots and dark red hooded sweatshirt.
Tiffany Lawrence Michaels is always looking to get noticed. She hopes to be a star and in doing so will wear anything revealing. Hell - she's go fully nude if she could. She has no shame.
Ring Entrance:
The guitar screech from the beginning of "Just Because" by Jane's Addiction blares over the house speakers, and the fans rise to their feet anticipating The Usual Suspects. Marx & Tryon step out from the entrance and stand in front of the smoked out curtains with the ever-present Tiffany Lawrence Michaels appearing between them. Both men are dawning dark hooded sweatshirts that obscure their face over their singlets and of course their ever valet is wearing one of her skimpy outfits. The Usual Suspects stare out into the crowd, taking in the cheers, before they begin walking to the ring high fiving a few of the fans in the aisle way. The two men pause at the base of the ring apron and allow their valet to take center stage as she climbs on to the apron, locks her arms around the top rope, and leans back as she faces the crowd allowing her ample assets to tighten up her revealing top. Both men hop up onto the ring apron next and enter through the ropes.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Bases:
Jason Marx (Tazz)
Chris Tryon (Rob Van Dam)
Tiffani Lawrence Michaels (Christy Hemme)
Valet:
Tiffani Lawrence Michaels
Gimmick:
Marx is an experienced tag team specialist who is looking to revitalize his career with his prized rookie student turned partner Chris Tryon. The two often don't see eye to eye as the raw Tryon tends to allow his ego to direct his choices, as Marx relies more on his experience. Marx controls Tryon through controlling the team finances. Without anything to his name, Tryon usually must acquiesce. Tiffany Lawrence Michaels is the life-sucking parasite who is looking to ride any wave of fame and money the team, namely Tryon, comes across and has grandiose dreams about what it's like to be a ring-rat. Tryon ultimately has no feelings for her other than the fact that she's easy on the eyes and warms his bed. Marx absolutely detests her, but tolerates her to keep the team together since he knows this might be his last run.
Bio:
Jason Marx got his start into the wrestling business as part of a tag team in a New York territory called the UEF. Their he teamed up with his long time partner James O'Brian to form The Destruction Krew. The industry back then was known for giving the talent ring names for promotional purposes, so they went under the ring names "Marz" and "Orion". They instantly begin feuding with the promotion's top talent, regardless on whether it was singles or tag teams. Their longest running feud was with UEF star "Casino" Mike Richards as they attempted on several occasions to break his neck.
After the UEF shut down in the spring of 1999, Orion and Marz worked for a number of promotions over the next two years, following many of the UEF mainstays, until they found a home in a new southern regional promotion - South Florida Wrestling. In 2001 they found success in winning the tag team championships and holding on to those titles until the company went on a brief hiatus. When it reopened later that year, they took a more laid back in ring role and bought in on partial ownership of the company with their friend Casey "Merlyn" Rhodes. As the new owners of the company they formed a group known as "The Usual Suspects" and were determined to stamp out anybody who stood in their way.
They were offset when it was revealed that their long time nemesis, a now retired "Casino" Mike Richards had been named "Commissioner of Talent Relations" behind their back by previous ownership with a valid lifetime contract. Everytime the group tried to run roughshod over talent who stood up to them, Mike was there to always foil their plans. In order to provide money for company promotion and expansion, O'Brian, Marx, and Rhodes opened up an adult entertainment establishment dubbed "Body-Tap" under the parent company of "Tap That Ass Ent." Unfortunately they were too aggressive with their expansion and the company ultimately folded in late 2003.
Afterwards O'Brian's seemingly insatious obsession with female flesh led him to retire from wrestling and enter the Adult industry in Southern California. This was short-lived though as he quickly contracted herpes twice along with the clap. Marx looked to team up with fellow Suspect, Casey Rhodes to form a tag team under the stable name - The Usual Suspects. This never came to fruition however as Rhodes always lived his life as a thrill seeker and he was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident while doing over one hundred miles per hour on a Miami freeway.
Seemingly lost, Marx decided to open up his own wrestling school to train rookies and decided he was finished with his in ring career. That all changed one day when a raw, cocky kid from Houston walked through the doors. Strikingly resembling his old friend, Casey Rhodes, Chris Tryon was looking to become the next big thing in the business. After training for one year, Marx promised that he could turn Tryon into a star if he formed a tag team with him. Begrudgingly, Tryon accepted and the duo have found their way to the FGA.
Oh... You want to know about Tiffany Lawrence Michaels? It's really this simple. She met Chris Tryon one night at a South beach nightclub. He was blabbering on how he was going to be infinitely wealthy and famous so she decided to ride his coat tails. Unfortunately she has no idea how difficult it is to break into the business, so let's just say that this initial ride is not going to live up to her expectations, but it should be entertaining.
