FGA Championship Match
(c) Chris Q vs. Dom Harter
The opening chords of “Superunknown” begin to play throughout the arena as Dom Harter steps out from behind the black curtain. He stands there, stroking his beard with a devilish grin on his face, not once taking his eyes off the ring as he begins his slow, deliberate walk down the aisle. Harter ignores most of the fans in attendance, their boos not affecting him as he climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring through the ropes. Once inside, Dom makes his way to the corner as he rests his arms on the top rope and his forehead against the turnbuckle pad as he waits for his opponent].
Harter: The Murder failed in their quest to capture the Pride Championship last night. But Dom Harter has the chance to make up for that by becoming the new FGA Champion.
Grayson: The Murder's strength lies in their numbers. Dom said he would do anything he could to win this match. Could we see both Malcolm Drake and Bob Pooler making their presence known?
Clement: Chris Q has all but invited them to come down to the ring.
"The Earths Rotation Around the Sun" begins blasting through the speakers. From the top of the entrance way, Chris Q emerges to an extremely negative reaction. Embracing the negativity from the audience, Chris Q makes his way to the ring while getting into the faces of a few fans. When he gets to the ring, Chris Q slides under the bottom rope and slowly gets to his feet. The fans continue to boo as Chris looks out into the crowd with a cocky smile across his face. Chris Q once again yells at the fans as the music dies down.
Clement: Chris Q has walked into an FGA ring ten times. And ten times he has walked out the winner. There hasn't been a man or woman that has been able to beat him or make him submit. And ever since defeating A.J. Fairchild back in March, his grip around that championship has only gotten tighter and tighter. Is this the night when Chris Q finally meets his match? Is this the night when Chris Q finally tastes defeat? Or will this Chris Q Party somehow continue to roll on.
Grayson: Maybe. Maybe not. If Dom Harter can't get the job done tonight, then I don't know who can. Chris Q is just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than The Murder themselves. But Dom Harter is a different athlete than Chris Q has been in the ring with. He's just as vicious and underhanded and unforgiving as he is. This should be a good one.
Cruz: The following contest is your main event of the evening. And it is for the FGA Championship!
Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd.
Cruz: Introducing first, from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 235 pounds. He is the "Tenacious Little Bastard" DOM HARTER
Harter smirks as he soaks in the chorus of boos.
Cruz: And his opponent, from Lone Oak, Texas. Weighing in at 241 pounds. He is the reigning.... defending.... FGA Champion. Ladies and gentlemen, he is the self-proclaimed Big Bad of FGA, CHRIS Q!
A downpour of boos can be heard as Q slowly raises the FGA Championship in the air. He then hands the belt over to the senior official. The ref then goes over and shows it to Harter before showing it off to all fours sides of the crowd. After handing the belt over to the time keeper, he calls for the bell.
The bell sounds as the two men walk towards the center of the ring. After staring each other down, Q makes the first move by shoving Harter down to the canvas. Harter gets up, but he's meet with a series of right hands to the face that knock him back into the corner. Q unleashes a series of elbows strikes, followed by a series of knee strikes, followed by a series of shoulder thrusts.
Clement: Chris Q isn't wasting any time as he quickly takes the fight to Harter.
Q brings Harter from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Harter comes back, Q goes for a clothesline. But Harter ducks. When Q turns around, Harter nails him with a series of right hands that knock him closer and closer to the ropes. When Q is stunned, Harter runs into the ropes. When Harter comes back, Q grabs him by the back of the neck, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor. Harter gets up on the outside and slaps the apron in frustration. Meanwhile, Q crouches down and motions for him to get back in the ringer.
Clement: I don't think Harter was quite ready for this fight.
Grayson: Chris Q is an absolute animal. He isn't a choir boy like Pat Gordon, Jr or the rest of these guys. He can get down and dirty with the best of them.
Harter slowly climbs back up onto the apron and steps through the ropes. After circling the ring. The two go to lock up. But Harter kicks him in the midsection and then rakes him across the eyes. As Q stumbles around the ring, Harter grabs him from behind, heads into the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Q around, Harter unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then brings Q from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Q reverses, sending Harter into the ropes. When Harter comes back, he knocks Q down with a Lou Thesz Press. He then mounts himself on top of Q and hammers away with rights and lefts. Q tries to cover up, but some of the blows still penetrate. Harter then gets up and puts the boots to Q. But Q is able to roll to the outside and put some distance between the two. As Q walks around the ring, Harter crouches down and mocks Q by waving him back into the ring.
Clement: Harter now trying to give Chris Q a taste of his own medicine.
Grayson: I'm not sure how smart it is to taunt a guy like Chris Q.
Clement: He's the same guy that blindly follows Malcolm Drake. I don't think smarts is his strong suit.
After climbing up onto the apron, Q steps back into the ring. After circling the ring, they lock up. After jockeying for position, Q shoves Harter back, sending him stumbling towards the ropes. The two men circle the ring. After inching closer to each other, they lock up. After jockeying for position, Harter shoves Q back. Once G regains his balance, he heads back over to Harter and locks up. Q quickly places him in a side headlock. But Harter reaches up with his right arm, grabs Q by the hair and pulls it back, moving Q into the ropes. Harter then shoves Q off of him and into the opposite set of ropes. When Q comes back, he goes for running shoulderblock. But Harter only stumbles back. So Q looks him up and down before running back into the ropes. When he comes back, Harter braces himself as Q connects with another running shoulderblock. But again, he can't knock Harter down. After beating on his chest, he points to the ropes, as if to challenge Harter to knock him down. Harter accepts by running into the ropes. But when he comes back, Q knocks him down with a hard clothesline.
Clement: Chris Q set the trap for that one. And Harter ran right into it.
Q goes over, picks him up and nails him with a headbutt, sending him stumbling into the corner. As Q approaches, Harter throws out a kick. But Q catches it and brings Harter from out of the corner. He taunts Harter as Harter takes several wild swipes at him. Once he's done toying with him, Q spins Harter around. When Harter comes back, Q knocks him down with a forearm strike to the face. He quickly drops down and makes the cover.

Q gets his shoulder up.
As both men try to get up to their feet, Harter gets up first, quickly runs over, grabs him by hair and throws him down with a mat slam. Q clutches the back of his head in pain as Harter scans the crowd.
Clement: Chris Q seems to control much of the early portion of this match. But Harter may have just found his opening.
Grayson: Neither man is known for their technical wizardry. But Harter needs to keep Chris Q grounded. There's no point in brawling with a man like him.
Harter goes over, picks up Q, goes into the corner and tries to slam his head into the top turnbuckle. But Q blocks the move by placing his foot on the middle turnbuckle. He then elbows Harter before slamming his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Harter around, Q whips him into the opposite corner. He charges across the ring, but he runs right into an elbow to the face. After he stumbles back, Q rushes right back into the corner. But again, he runs into an elbow to the face. As Q stumbles back, Harter runs from out of the corner and connects with a running jumping double knee lift to the chest, sending Q stumbling back before falling down. As Q tries to get up to his feet, Harter runs over and nails him with a knee lift, sending Q stumbling through the ropes and onto the apron. As Q tries to pull himself up using the ropes, Harter lunges through the ropes with a shoulder thrust. While Q is doubled over, Harter steps out onto the apron. He grabs Q and positions him for a piledriver, but Q blocks it. So Harter tightens his grip and goes for another piledriver. But again, Q ducks. Q then counters with a back body drop, sending Harter off the apron and to the floor.
Clement: Harter tried to go for a high impact move. But Chris Q wisely countered it.
Grayson: He's lucky that he did. A piledriver off the apron? Yeah, that would have finished him off.
While Harter is down, Q walks across the apron and climbs up onto the middle rope. After measuring the distance, he jumps off and goes for a diving elbow drop. But Harter rolls out of the way, causing Q to connect with nothing but the floor. Q can be seen cringing in pain as he clutches his arm.
Grayson: And he misses!
Clement: Nobody was home after Chris Q attempted that flying elbow to the outside. Both of these men are going for the high impact moves early. You can tell the importance of this match. You can see how much that FGA Championship means to them.
As both men slowly get up, Harter quickly grabs him by the arm and drops down with a single arm DDT. Q turns over on the floor and clutches his arm in pain. Harter then rolls into the ring, then back out to restart the count. He reaches down, picks up Q and whips him into the ring post. Q smacks shoulder-first into the ring post. He then stumbles around the post before falling down to his knee. He clutches his arm in pain as Harter creeps around the ring post. As Q tries to pull himself up using the edge of the apron, Harter attacks from behind. He stretches out Q's arm and then nails him with several 12-to-6 elbows to the arm. He then rolls Q back into the ring. After Harter slides in, he crawls over and makes the cover.

Harter lets go, only to deliver a knee strike to the midsection. While Q is doubled over, Harter hammerlocks his arm from behind, turns, runs towards the corner and tosses him shoulder-first into the ring post. The thud from the impact can be heard throughout the building.
Clement: Harter continues to viciously attack the arm of Chris Q.
Grayson: Smart strategy. He can't lift Harter up for The Compactor if he has an injured arm.
As Q tumbles back, Harter grabs him from behind and delivers a belly to back suplex. He turns over and makes the cover.

As Harter tries to bring Q back up to his feet, Q nails him with a series of punches to the midsection. But Harter stops him with a knee strike to the midsection. He then delivers a headbutt to the shoulder, dropping Q down to his knees. After picking Q up, Harter grabs him from behind and lifts him up. As he turns Q in the air, Q's foot accidentally catches the ref in the face, knocking him down. Harter then drops Q with a reverse implant DDT. He goes to make the cover, but quickly realizes that the ref isn't counting. So Harter gets up and heads over towards the ref. While Harter tries to revive the ref, Q gets up. He then heads over, grabs Harter from behind and brings him down with the Cracker-Jack. Harter can be seen arching his back in pain.
Grayson: Harter is in pain, Kev.
Clement: He looks to be worse for wear after being given the Cracker-Jack. And that's usually Chris Q's go-to move right before The Compactor.
Q then picks up Harter and scoops him up across his shoulders for The Compactor. But Harter frantically elbows him in the side of the head before slipping down from behind. When Q turns around, Harter kicks him between the legs, sending Q crumbling to the canvas in pain.
Grayson: Goal!
Clement: Dom Harter with the blatant low blow! Where's the ref?
Grayson: Still out cold. Which means he can't get disqualified!
Harter rolls to the outside, grabs Manny Cruz and tosses him out of his chair. He then scoops up the chair, folds it up and slides into the ring. Harter slowly makes his way over to Q with a smirk on his face.
Clement: I've never been one to show concern over a man like Chris Q. But this isn't right. Don't let this match end this way.
Grayson: Please, Chris Q would do the exact same thing.
As Q gets on his knees and turns over, Harter raises the belt high above his head. But before he can strike, Q reaches up and nails him with a low blow of his own, sending Harter falling to the floor.
Grayson: Like I was saying....
Bob Pooler can be seen racing down to the ring to boos from the crowd.
Grayson: You hear that? I can hear a crow in the distance.
Clement: Once again, The Murder uses the numbers game to their advantage.
After climbing up onto the apron, Pooler climbs up onto the turnbuckles. When Q turns around, Pooler leaps off. But Q catches him in mid air with a punch to the midsection, doubling him over. He then grabs Pooler, runs and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor. When Q turns around, he sees the chair. He looks over to Harter, then back to the chair, then back at Harter, then back at the chair. Q heads over and snatches up the chair.
Grayson: Here we go.
Clement: This doesn't look good, Evan.
Grayson: It looks awful for Harter. But it's about to look great for the champ.
Q sizes up Harter as he impatiently waits for Harter to get up. Q raises the chair over his head. But from out of nowhere, Chris Bond slides into the ring and snatches the chair from out of Q's hands. The crowd cheers as Bond slides to the outside. Q turns around and sees who stole the chair from him. When he turns around and sees that it's Bond, he's irate.
Clement: Chris Bond with the save. He's trying to keep this championship match on the up and up.
Grayson: Well isn't that just sweet? Chris Q needs to knock his lights out and take back the chair.
Q heads over to the ropes and yells at Bond to give him the chair. But Bond shake his head. Q then kicks the bottom rope and yells at him to give him the chair. But Bond shakes his head and tells him that him and Harter aren't going to win this way. He then tosses the chair on the floor as the crowd cheers.
Grayson: What is he doing? Is he nuts?
Someone can be seen making their way through the crowd on the far side of the ring. Q then drops down to one knee, sticks his head through the ropes and yells at Bond to give him the fucking chair. But Bond refuses. But Bond's anger turns to concern once he sees Malcolm Drake hop over the barricade, scoop up the FGA Championship belt and slide into the ring. His eyes widen as he begins to frantically shake his head. When Q gets up and turns around, Drake dives over and clocks him in the face with the belt. Bond places his hands on his head in shock as Drake rolls to the outside.
Grayson: BAM!
Clement: Malcolm Drake! Malcolm Drake with a belt shot to the head! That damn Malcolm Drake just clocked Chris Q right in the face with the FGA Championship belt!
As Q lays out in the ring, Harter slowly crawls over and drapes his arm across Q's chest. The ref then slowly sits up and shakes out the cobwebs. He turns over and sees the pin. Bond can be seen slapping the canvas, trying his best to get the ref's attention. He repeatedly tries to wave off the ref and yells at him that Drake hit Q with the belt. But the ref, still in a dazed state, can't quite hear him. He starts the count.

He raises the belt in the air, but he quickly winces in pain before holding his back. The boos are nearly deafening as Harter celebrates his FGA Championship win with his fellow crows.
Grayson: And this, kids is why you shouldn't be a Good Samaritan.
Clement: Don't try and blame this on Bond. Malcolm Drake nailed Chris Q in the head with the title belt, knocking him out. This is how the streak ends? This is how the title reign ends? Now those damn crows have the FGA Championship. This makes me sick!
Drake and Pool hold up Harter on their shoulder. Harter then raises the FGA Championship belt with a smirk on his face to a chorus of “MURDER SUCKS!” chants from the crowd.
