CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Randy Orton, older, usually "bearded"
Manager/Valet:
None
Gimmick:
Battle-hardened veteran who's looking for one more shot at glory.
Strengths:
1. Experience. Having been around so long, more often than not Bond has scouted a move before most will have seen it coming. Knows a lot of tricks.
2. Brawler. While he's skilled in the technical side of wrestling, he's got no problem going toe-to-toe in a fist fight or even getting a little hardcore.
3. Heart. More often than not, Bond refuses to quit. He's been handcuffed to the ring ropes and had his head bashed in with a chair and still refused to quit.
Weaknesses:
1. Right knee. In 2011 Bond tore his ACL and blew out his knee. While surgically repaired, it has been known to be a target and act up on time to time.
2. Age. Born in 1976, Bond is older than most of the talent. He's quickly approaching 40. His body doesn't hold up as well as it used to, being older, so he's more prone to minor, longer lasting injuries.
3. Anger issues. Bond will get angry, and when he does, he usually see's red. No one is safe, and Bond could have no problem blacking out in a fit of rage and getting himself disqualified.
Bio:
His life is full of triumph and tragedy, but no matter what he has been through, the one thing that keeps Chris Bond going is to become a true legend in the eyes of his son.
In April of 2011, Chris Bond suffered a very serious knee injury during a match at SCCW's Atonement supershow. Following over half a year of rehab, Chris Bond would return to action for the short-lived LWA promotion. Competiting in some of the greatest action the promotion would see, Bond would compete against the British Bomber for their Heavyweight Championship. During this time, Bond would also develop an addicition to painkillers. Threatening his relationship with his fiancee and wife, Bond would leave the promotion and attend a rehabilitation center.
In November of 2012, Bond saught to return to the business. However, due to his past battles with alcohol, painkillers, and his knee injury, no major promotion was willing to take a risk and putting him on their payroll. The early morning hours of January 1, 2013, Bond would recieve information on a smaller, regional promotion based out the New England area called FGA.
Since signing with the FGA, Bond has made a name for himself as someone not to overlook. Constantly living by the "#FGAProud" hashtag, Bond often refuses to let any individual talk ill of his home. Having gone toe-to-toe with Chris Q and lived to tell about it, Bond found himself with two different FGA Heavyweight Championship opportunities. Bond is also a two-time PRIDE Champion. Bond's first title win came at Above & Beyond II when he defeated Michael Tomkins, Michael Hopkins, and Andreas Lasiewicz in a fatal fourway to keep the PRIDE Title in FGA hands.
Notable feuds include Kevin Hardaway, Dom Harter, and Chris Q.
Currently Bond serves as head trainer for the FGA's developmental territory, Lion's Den Fighting Championship.

Ring Entrance:
"If you take a life, do you know what you'll give...
Odds are, you won't like what it is...
When the storm arrives, would you be seen with me...
By the merciless eyes I've deceived...
I've seen angels fall from blinding heights...
But you yourself are nothing so divine...
Just next in line..."
The house lights dim in the smaller facility, and multi-colored lights soon flicker throughout the filled-to-the-brim center. The crowd jumps to it's feet, blowing the roof off from the much smaller arena as Chris Bond makes his way out from behind the curtains. As he emerges from behind the curtain, there is a small burst of excitement from the crowd. With a spotlight lighting his way, Bond makes his way down the aisle and towards the ring, even slapping a few hands on the way down. Soon enough he jogs up the stairs, and walks along the ring apron before wiping his feet. Chris Bond steps over the second rope and into the ring. The self-proclaimed legend of the wrestling world walks to the center of the ring and stands there for a moment, as flashes go off through out the waves of fans. He circles the ring, arms outstretched, as the fans cheer loudly once again. Bond enjoys this, as his trademark smirk re-emerges on his face. Heading to his corner, Bond does a few stretches as he waits for the match to begin.
