Kevin Clement: Welcome fans to this latest presentation by Frontier Grappling Arts. We're coming to you from the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago, Illinois. I am Kevin Clement. And joining me a always is my partner, Evan Grayson. This event was originally supposed to take place in Edison, New Jersey. However, due to the hurricane that swept throughout the northeast, we had to make some last minute changes.

Evan Grayson: That's right. Hurricane Sandy hit the northeast hard, especially New York and our homebase of New Jersey. A lot of people were effected by this terrible tragedy. Obviously we couldn't continue with this event as planned with the original venue. But the fans who purchased tickets for the Edison show and traveled all the way out here to Chicago had their tickets honored. And for those of you who did not make the trip but purchased tickets, we want you to know that we WILL be returning to Edison, as well as Jersey City, next year. And if you present those tickets then, the will still be honored. Also, all proceeds from this weekend's show will go to a relief fund to help all the victims of Hurricane Sandy. We'd love to be home right now in front of all the FGA fans. But we will be back. We will be back soon. Just know that you're all in our thoughts and our prayers.

Kevin Clement: I couldn't agree with you more. We've got three solid matches for you tonight. But first, let's send it to the back where Justice Young is standing by. Justice.....

Justice Young: This is Justice Young reporting backstage from the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Tomorrow night, these halls will be with the best from not only Frontier Grappling Arts, but Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER. That's right, tomorrow night will be FRONTIER vs FGA! It's the show that everyone's been waiting for. It's the show that everyone's been talking about. There's so much on the line. There's so much up for grabs. And their can o--

(Suddenly, Justice stops in his tracks as The Phantom walks directly in front of Justice. He stares directly as the cautious announcer, who is scared stiff. He tilts his head to the side, examining Justice before walking off without saying a word. Justice looses his tie as he exhales, letting out a sigh of relief.)

Young: …. as I was saying, there can only be one winner. Will it be FGA? Will it be FRONTIER? We'll find out tomorrow night. For right now, let's send it down to the ring for tonight's opening contest.....

Ricky Ian Pearce vs. Rayzor

Loveless plays for few seconds, than the smoke machine begins to work. When the entrance ramp is covered in smoke, RIP rushes from behind the curtain and does a shot to the head taunt.

Cruz: The following contest is your opening contest of the evening. It is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first.... from Buffalo, New York.... weighing in at 210 pounds..... RICKY IAN PEARCE!

He slowly walks in the ring and he climbs to the top turnbuckle to pose for the crowd with his eyes closed just when the chorus begins to play ("You're loveless, it's okay..."). When the chorus is finished, he takes of his wifebeater and throws it to the crowd.

Clement: Down the aisle comes Ricky Ian Pearce. Pearce faced off against Pat Gordon, Jr in the opening round of the New Frontiers Cup. Unfortunately for him, he was “one and done.”

Grayson: Pearce didn't exactly have the greatest night at Fear Itself, getting bounced in the first round. However, he was impressive in there against Gordon, Jr and I think that tonight you're going to see him turn things around.

Rayzor runs fast to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope then raises his arm to a chorus of boos.

Cruz: And his opponent..... from Toronto, Ontario, Canada..... weighing in at 185 pounds.... RAYZOR!

Clement: Up next is Rayzor, who was also handed a loss in his match at Fear Itself.

Grayson: Well it's hard being in the ring with just one person. Imagine being in there with two other people who are gunning for you. That's exactly what happened to Rayzor in that Triple Threat Match. He didn't have the experience needed to exceed in a match like that. But now, he only has to focus on one man. And look at Pearce!

The bell sounds as Rayzor runs over into the corner and tries to attack Pearce from behind. But Pearce ducks the oncoming attack. When Rayzor turns around Pearce nails him with a right hand that sends him stumbling into the corner. Pearce then heads into the corner and mudhole stomps Rayzor down in the corner. Once Rayzor is down, Pearce places his foot across his throat and chokes him. The ref gives him until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: 1.................2.................3...............4............

Clement: Ricky Ian Pearce, showing more intensity than he did in his match against Pat Gordon, Jr.

Grayson: He knows what's at stake, that's why. He doesn't want to find himself with two losses in his first two matches. And he definitely doesn't want to lose to a guy like Rayzor.

Pearce reluctantly breaks the hold. He then picks up Rayzor, brings him from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Rayzor comes back, Pearce goes for a spinning backfist to the face. But Rayzor ducks and runs into the ropes. When Pearce turns around, Rayzor knocks him down with a spinning heel kick. Pearce gets back up, but Rayzor knocks him down with a dropkick. As Pearce gets back up, Pearce goes for another dropkick. But Pearce sidesteps and swaps him down. As Rayzor tries to get up off the mat, Pearce nails him in the back of the head with a roundhouse kick. He then turns Rayzor over and makes the cover.

Clement: Pearce only gets a two count. But that blow to the back of the head may have knocked Rayzor senseless.

Grayson: Rayzor went to the well one too many times with those dropkicks and now he's paying for it.

Pearce picks up Rayzor, wrings him arm and then tries to yank the arm from out of its socket, sending Rayzor down to one knee in pain. Rayzor tries to get back up to his feet. But with a yank of the arm, Rayzor is sent back down to one knee. Pearce then transitions into a top wristlock. The ref asks Rayzor if he wants to give up. But Rayzor refuses to give up. Pearce then adjusts his positioning, increasing the pressure of the wristlock. Rayzor then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, takes Pearce by the wrist and counters with an arm wringer of his own. He then gives Pearce a taste of his own medicine by repeatedly yanking on his arm. After Pearce gets up off his knee, Rayzor takes him and whips him into the ropes. When Pearce comes back, Rayzor bends over to set up a back body drop. But Pearce grabs him by the head and throws him down with a mat slam. The back of Rayzor's head bounces off the canvas.

Clement: And once again, Rayzor is sent down to the canvas.

Grayson: As soon as Rayzor gains even a little bit of momentum, Pearce is right there to knock him back down. That's how you win matches. That's how you win championships, Clement.

While Rayzor clutches his head in pain, Pearce picks him up and snapmares him over. He then runs into the ropes. When Pearce comes back, he knocks Rayzor down with a seated lariat. He turns over and makes the cover.

Pearce picks up Rayzor and knees him in the midsection, doubling him over. He then grabs Rayzor by the wrist, wrings his arm and then knocks him down with The Robbery. Pearce drops down and makes the cover.

Pearce looks up at the ref and holds up three fingers.

Clement: Another two count for Pearce and now he seems to be a bit agitated.

Grayson: He should stay focused on Rayzor, not getting bent out of shape over a two count.

Pearce picks up Rayzor, brings him into the corner and then sits him down on the top turnbuckle. After climbing up to the second turnbuckle, Pearce grabs a hold of Rayzor and goes for a superplex. But Rayzor blocks it, breaks free from Pearce's grip and then shoves him off the turnbuckle and to the floor. While Pearce is down, Rayzor slowly stands up on the top turnbuckle, raises his arms and then leaps off with a frog splash. But Pearce rolls out of the way, causing Rayzor to crash onto the canvas.

Clement: And nobody's home as Rayzor connects with nothing but canvas!

Grayson: Nothing has gone right tonight for Rayzor. And if Pearce is able to get up in time and capitalize, it could very well be over.

While Rayzor is curled up in pain, Pearce gets back up to his feet. He goes over, picks up Rayzor and nails him with a spinning backfist to the face. While Rayzor is dazed, Pearce nails him with a roundhouse kick that turns him around. He then follows up with a northern lariat, knocking Rayzor down from behind. Pearce then picks up Rayzor, turns him around, brings him down with a reverse STO, floats over and locks on the RTO. The ref quickly goes over and asks Rayzor if he wants to give up. Rayzor responds by frantically slapping the canvas. The crowd boos as the ref calls for the bell.

“Loveless” plays as Ricky Ian Pearce gets his arm raised to boos from the crowd.

Cruz: Here is your winner, RICKY IAN PEARCE!

Pearce rolls out of the way, makes his way around ringside and then heads up the ramp with his arms held in the air.

Clement: Ricky Ian Pearce makes up for his Fear Itself loss tonight with a dominating win over Rayzor.

Grayson: Rayzor may think he's a rockstar. But he certainly go rocked tonight. Nothing went his way. Whenever he started to get a little momentum, Pearce cut him off at the knees. And after he missed the big splash from the top, it was all downhill from there. Pearce gets the win and a bit of confidence back....

The Harvard Connection vs. The Masked Olympians

“We Are The Champions” plays as The Masked Olympians make their way to the ring to boos from the crowd.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a combined weight of 457 pounds..... THE MASKED OLYMPIANS!

Clement: The Masked Olympians, making their FGA debut here tonight. But not against any ordinary team. But against The Harvard Connection. What is their mindset heading into this match?

Grayson: If they want to be the best, they have to beat the best. The Harvard Connection is not only the best tag team that this company has ever had, but one of its members is also the FGA Heavyweight Champion. If The Masked Olympians beat The Harvard Connection tonight, then they get put on the map. It's a big night for them.

The classic beginning notes of "Ride of the Valkyries" plays over the PA as the fans in attendance know who are about to grace them with their presence. Out through the curtain steps the Harvard Connection, along with Madison Stewart, to boos from the crowd. Chandler and Preston raise their arms in the air to continued boos. After being dissatisfied with the reaction they're getting, they make their way towards the ring. As they come down the aisle, they raise their index fingers in the air, letting everyone know who is truly number one.

Cruz: And their opponents, being accompanied to the ring by Madison Stewart. Coming in at a combined weight of 473 pounds..... They are the team of Preston Blake and Chandler Scott.... THE HARVARD CONNECTION!

Chandler hops up onto the apron while Preston walks up the steps. After Preston wipes his feet off on the apron, the duo step into the ring. Chandler heads in one corner while Preston heads into the opposite one. Chandler climbs up onto the second turnbuckle. He stretches his arms out and tilts his head back. A big smile comes across his face as he closes his eyes, basking in his glory. On the other side of the ring, Preston climbs up onto the second turnbuckle and scans the crowd, looking down at the people below him in disgust.

Clement: The Harvard Connection are certainly no strangers to tag team action. However, they haven't tagged in a while. In fact, Chandler has won the Heavyweight Championship since the last time they tagged up. How does that factor into this match?

Grayson; It doesn't factor in at all. Chandler has Preston's back and vice versa. This is their bread and butter. This is what they do. And no amount of singles championships for one or the other will change that.

The bell sounds as Preston and a member of the Masked Olympians start things off.

Clement: Preston Blake and Masked Olympian I will start it off for their respective teams.

Grayson: Masked Olympian I?

Clement: Yes.

Grayson: Are you sure that's him and not number two?

Clement: …. Good point.

Preston and MOI circle the ring. They inch closer to each other and go to lock up. But Preston cheapshots him with a kick to the stomach. He then rakes MOI across the eyes, sending him stumbling over towards the ropes. As Preston approaches, MOI nails him with an elbow to the midsection. He then takes Preston by the head and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Preston around, MOI unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then brings Preston from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Preston comes back, he knocks down MOI with a cross body block. He looks the leg...

Masked Olympian I kicks out.

As both men get back to their feet, Preston quickly grabs MOI by the arm, wrings it, brings him over towards his corner and tags in Chandler Scott. Chandler steps into the ring and nails MOI with a punch to the ribs, doubling him over. He then nails MOI with a double ax handle smash to the back, bringing him down to his knees. Chandler picks him up, slams his head into the top turnbuckle, turns him around and delivers a series of shoulder thrusts of his own. Once he's done, Chandler stands up and tags Preston back in. Preston then gets in and unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the building. He then tags Chandler back in.

Clement: The Harvard Connection are utilizing a lot of quick tags early on in this contest.

Grayson: They're doing what any great team does. And that's keeping both partners fresh while keeping one of their opponents cornered.

Chandler then gets in and nails MOI with a barrage of forearm strikes to the face, sending him slumping down in the corner. While he's down in the corner, Chandler proceeds to rake the sole of his boot repeatedly across MOI's face. He then tags Preston back in. Once Preston gets in, The Harvard Connections picks up MOI, brings him from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. MOII reaches over and makes the blind tag. Once MOI comes back, Preston trips him down with a drop toe hold. While MOI is down, Chandler connects with an elbow drop to the back. Preston gets up and is about to deliver an elbow drop of his own. But MOII comes up from behind, grabs Preston, runs and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor.

Clement: Preston never saw The Masked Olympian coming and now, he's worse for wear.

When MOII turns around, Chandler charges at him and goes for a clothesline. But MOII ducks, sending Chandler into the ropes. When Chandler comes back, The Masked Olympians throw him down with a double back body drop. As Chandler gets up and turns around, The Masked Olympians knock him down with a double clothesline. As Chandler gets up and turns around, The Masked Olympians run over and deliver a double dropkick, knocking him down. MOII drops down and makes the cover. But Chandler isn't the legal man. Suddenly, Preston comes out of nowhere with a dropkick to the side of the head, knocking MOII off of Chandler. Preston then crawls over and makes the cover.

Masked Olympian I breaks up the pin with a stomp to the back.

MOI then picks up Preston and nails him with a headbutt, sending him stumbling into the corner. Meanwhile, MOII picks up Chandler and whips him into the opposite corner. He charges and connects with a clothesline. Once The Masked Olympians turn around and give each other a nod, they grab Chandler and Preston and irish whip them towards the center of the ring where they collide with each other. Chandler stumbles back and turns into a clothesline, knocking him down. Meanwhile, MOII turns Preston around, kicks him in the midsection and then plants him with a DDT. He turns Preston over and makes the cover.

Clement: These Masked Olympians sure are holding their own.

Grayson: More than I thought they would, I'll give them that much.

While MOII gets back up to his feet, MOI takes Chandler, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor. He then goes over and, along with MOI, whips Preston into the ropes. When Preston comes back, The Masked Olympians take Preston down with a double pancake. After Preston bounces off the canvas and turns over onto his back, MOII picks up MOI and throws him down across Preston with a scoop slam. MOII then runs, jumps and splashes on top of Preston with a senton. He turns over and makes the cover.

MOII goes into the corner and tags in MOI. MOI then gets in, goes back over to Preston and puts the boots to him. He then drops down to his knees and chokes Preston. Preston flails his legs around while the ref gives MOI until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: 1..................2...............3..............4............

MOI reluctantly lets go. He then gets up, picks up Preston and throws him down with a scoop slam. MOI then bounces into the ropes. When he comes back, he goes for an elbow drop. But Preston rolls out of the way. MOI gets up, walks over and goes for another clothesline. But again, Preston rolls out of the way. MOI then gets up, runs over and goes for a jumping clothesline. But Preston rolls underneath the ropes and rolls out onto the apron. Once MOI gets up, Preston pulls himself up onto the apron and lunges through the ropes, nailing MOI with a shoulder thrust that sends him stumbling back. He then goes over and tags in Chandler. After Preston hops down off the apron, Chandler grabs a hold of the ropes and knocks down MOI with a slingshot shoulderblock. He makes the cover.

While MOII heads back to his corner, Chandler picks up MOI, scoops him up and delivers a rib breaker. He then bounces into the ropes. When Chandler comes back, he connects with a jumping elbow drop. He makes the cover.

Masked Olympian I gets his shoulder up.

Chandler picks him up and whips him into the ropes. When MOI comes back, Chandler knocks him down with a running forearm smash. He then goes over, picks up MOI, scoops him up across his shoulder and goes for a running powerslam. But MOI slips out from behind and shoves him into the ropes. When Chandler comes back, MOI throws him down with a spinebuster.

Clement: Spinebuster out of nowhere and now Chandler is down! Can he make it to his corner? Will he make the pin?

MOI slowly crawls over and tags in MOII. MOI quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle, points down at Chandler, leaps off and goes for a flying body splash. But Chandler gets his knees up, causing MOII to come crashing down across them.

Grayson: And that's what happens when you go up top for something high risk. Chandler was down. The first Olympian could have gone for the cover. But no. He wasted time going to the corner. He wasted time tagging in the second Olympian. And then the second one wasted time climbing up to the top. Now look at them.

While MOII is curled up in pain, Chandler gets up, runs over and knocks MOI off the apron, sending him crashing against the barricade.

Clement: Another cheapshot by The Harvard Connection.

Grayson: Maybe if he was paying attention, he wouldn't have been sent flying off the apron.

He then goes into the opposite corner and tags in Preston. While Preston climbs the turnbuckle, Chandler goes over, picks up MOII and throws him down with a scoop slam. He then heads into the corner, turns around, reaches up, grabs Preston by the hands and throws him down with an assisted senton splash. Preston makes the nonchalant cover by reaching back and hooking the leg.

Masked Olympian II gets his shoulder up.

A shock look forms across Preston's face. He can't believe he kicked out. Once he's snapped out of it, he calls Chandler back into the ring. Preston then walks across the ring and heads to the outside while Chandler takes MOII and sits him down across the top turnbuckle. While Preston waits on the top turnbuckle, Chandler climbs up to the second turnbuckle in the adjacent corner. After receiving Preston's cue, The Harvard Connection delivers High Honors to MOII. Preston hooks the leg.

“Ride of the Valkyries” blares throughout the building as the crowd boos.

Cruz: Here are your winners, THE HARVARD CONNECTION!

Madison Stewart applauds as she makes her way up the steps. After entering the ring, she walks over, stands in between Preston and Chandler, and raises their arms in the air to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Another mark on the wall for The Harvard Connection as they pick up the win over The Masked Olympians.

Grayson: The Masked Olympians put up a fight. They didn't just roll over and let Preston and Chandler do whatever they wanted to them. But at the end of the day, The Harvard Connection are just a better team and they showed it in the ring tonight.

[ FADE OUT ]

Ryu Kanata vs. "The Wonderboy" Mike Smith

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. And it is your main event of the evening. Introducing first.... from San Jose, California.... weighing in at 221 pounds.... “The Wonderboy” MIKE SMITH!

Clement: Mike Smith heads to the ring for his match against Ryu Kanata. This will be the second meeting between the two here in FGA. It was just two weeks ago that Ryu, for lack of a better phrase, ran through Smith.

Grayson: You can say it. He did. Don't feel bad about it, because it's true. When Smith first came here to FGA, everyone was enamored with him. They liked him because he was an oddball. They liked him because he was a goofball. They loved his quirkiness. But what about what happens in the ring? Yes, he won his matches early on. He got on a nice little streak. But ever since September, the man has gotten nowhere. He's plateaued. The fire simply isn't there. And if Smith doesn't snap out of this funk, he could very well find himself seriously hurt.

“Madhouse” by Anthrax play as Golden Dragon Yashimoto steps through the curtain to boos from the curtain.

Grayson: Not to be politically incorrect. But I believe this is the wrong Asian man making his way through the curtain.

Clement: I'm not sure what Golden Dragon Yashimoto is doing out here. He's not even scheduled to be on this show.

Grayson: But he is on the show tomorrow. And tomorrow's show is now in the same arena as tonight's show. So maybe he got confused. This is Golden Dragon we're talking about here.

Clement: That's very true. But I don't like that look in his eye. And I don't like that he's creeping down to the ring, either.

GDY continues to slowly inch his way down to the ring to boos from the crowd. Mike Smith crouches down and waits for GDY to make a move. But while Smith's back is turned, gasps can be heard coming from the crowd. Out of nowhere steps a large dark skinned individual with a painted face and painted symbols across his chest and stomach.

Clement: What in the hell? Who is this?

Grayson: Didn't Golden Dragon mention something recently about taking a trip to Africa to find his secret weapon? Well, I think the secret's out.

The man reaches about, grabs the top rope with both hands and pulls himself up onto the apron. Meanwhile, Smith is none the wiser as he's focused on nothing but GDY. GDY begins to strafe from right to left, keeping Smith's attention focused solely on him. Fans in the front row are shouting and pointing at Smith to turn around. But Smith has the blinders on and is focused on the fork wielding maniac.

Clement: Come on, Mike! Get out of there! GET OUT OF THERE NOW!

Grayson: Too late....

The large man knocks down Smith from behind with a double ax handle smash. The crowd boos as GDY rolls into the ring. The look on his face reveals that he's obviously pleased over what just happened. The man then reaches down, grabs Smith by the side of the head with both hands and yanks him back up to his feet. He squeezes as hard as he can, trying to crush Smith's head in between his hands. GDY encourages him, making a smashing motion with his hands. Meanwhile, Smith can be heard moaning in pain as the crowd boos.

Clement: What's the meaning of this? What's the point of this? Let the man go! You're going to hurt him!

Grayson: They can't hear you. And even if they did, they wouldn't care.

The man then hoists Smith up in the air, only to throw him down face-first to the canvas.

Clement: Finally! We've got to get some help out here for Mike Smith. He may be seriously hurt....

The crowd boos as the man lets out a primal roar that can be heard throughout the building. Several FGA referees and officials rush the ring. But as soon as GDY reaches into his boot and pulls out a fork, they quickly retreat. Three of the officials are then able to reach into the ring and drag Smith to the outside to safety. The crowd continues to boos as GDY looks on with a sadistic smile on his face.
