A.J. Fairchild vs. Pat Gordon, Jr.

A loud foghorn sounds three times, the smoke machine fogs the black curtain as "Busy Being Born" by the band Middle Class Rut plays over the the venue's P.A. sound system.

Emerging from the back curtain is A.J. Fairchild who, hops up and down on the tip of his toes getting pumped for his match. A.J. then jogs down the ramp and high fives a few people on his way to the ring.

Cruz: The following is a semifinals match in the New Frontiers Cup. It is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit. Introducing first....from Dallas, Texas.... weighing in at 194 pounds.... A.J. FAIRCHILD!

A.J. slides in the ring, and runs towards the nearest turnbuckle. A.J. scales the top of the turnbuckle and throws up a hook'em horns hand sign before jumping down from the turnbuckle.

Clement: A.J. Fairchild advanced by beating Golden Dragon Yashimoto in the opening round.

Grayson: And on top of that, he didnt even get forked!

Clement: Now A.J. looks to gain some measure of revenge against the man who beat him just two weeks ago....

'Chariots of Fire' fills the arena, cuing the arrival of Pat Gordon, Jr., who steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring, giving out high-fives to any outstretched hands along the way. He does a lap around the ring, still giving out high-fives to any fans who want one.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Boston Massachusetts... weighing in at 242 pounds.... PAT GORDON, JR!

Clement: Pat Gordon, Jr defeated A.J. Fairchild back in Monroe two weeks ago. Gordon is hoping for a similar result here tonight.

Grayson: Well let's also hope that those FRONTIER boys stay firmly in their seats as well....

The bell sounds as both men circle the ring. They then head towards the center of the ring and lock up. After jockeying for position, PGJR places Fairchild in a side headlock. Fairchild tries to shove PGJR off of him, but its to no avail. After PGJR cinches in the hold, Fairchild hits him with three forearm strikes to the ribs. He then tries to shove PGJR off of him and into the ropes but again, it's to no avail. Fairchild then punches PGJR in the stomach before grabbing him by the arm with both hands. After a bit of a struggle, Fairchild is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock from behind. Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd. PGJR tries to get out of it. But Fairchild jerks the arm, sending a rush of pain throughout PGJR's arm. The ref asks PGJR if he wants to give up. He tells him no, which causes Fairchild to jerk the arm again. PGJR can be seen cringing in pain. After faking out Fairchild, PGJR lunges up with his free arm and elbows Fairchild in the face. He then quickly counters by throwing Fairchild down with a side headlock takeover. The ref asks Fairchild if he wants to give up. But Fairchild wags his index finger. PGJR cinches in the hold as Fairchild turns over on the canvas. He then slowly gets back up to his feet as PGJR keeps the headlock applied. After another punch to the midsection, Fairchild shoves PGJR off of him and into the ropes. When PGJR comes back, he knocks Fairchild down with a running shoulderblock. He then runs into the ropes as Fairchild kips up to his feet. When PGJR comes back, Fairchild leap frogs over him. PGJR continues to run into the ropes. When PGJR comes back, Fairchild, without turning around, leap frogs over PGJR again. PGJR runs into the ropes. When PGJR comes back, Fairchild knocks him down with a dropkick. The crowd cheers. PGJR gets up, but Fairchild throws him down with a mexican arm drag. The crowd cheers. PGJR gets back up, but Fairchild throws him down with another mexican arm drag. The crowd cheers. As PGJR gets up, Fairchild goes for another dropkick. But PGJR side steps and swats him down.

As Fairchild tries to get up, PGJR runs over and knocks him down with a high knee lift to the face. He then picks Fairchild up and whips him into the ropes. When Fairchild comes back, PGJR takes him down with a drop toe hold. He then quickly maneuvers across Fairchild's back and applies another side headlock. He cinches in the hold as Fairchild can be heard moaning in pain. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. But Fairchild just waves him off. After slowly getting back up to his feet, Fairchild tries to shove PGJR off of him. But its to no avail. PGJR then performs a standing switch, applying a hammerlock from behind. The crowd cheers as PGJR jerks the arm. Fairchild can be seen cringing in pain. Fairchild then bends forward, turns and reverses into a hammerlock of his own. The crowd cheers. He then transitions over into a side headlock. PGJR tries to shove Fairchild off of him. But Fairchild tightens the hold. He then performs a standing switch, applying a waistlock from behind. PGJR then elbows Fairchild in the face, breaking the hold. He performs a standing switch, applying a waistlock of his own. He then hoists Fairchild up and throws him down with a waistlock takedown. Fairchild tries to get back up to his feet. But PGJR deadlifts him off the canvas and throws him down with another waistlock takedown. Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd.

Clement: Nice back and forth wrestling here by both men.

Grayson: Yeah, but you see what Gordon is trying to do. He knows A.J. is a high flyer. He knows A.J. can run with the best of him. And Gordon knows his own limitations. He knows he can't compete with the high flying and the speed of A.J. So he's trying to keep this match mat-based, on the ground where he knows he can have an advantage. Smart move.... for a Gordon.

Clement: Stop it...

As Fairchild gets back up to his feet, he elbows PGJR in the face, breaking the hold. He then runs into the ropes. When Fairchild comes back, PGJR nails him with a kitchen sink to the midsection, sending him flipping down to the canvas. He immediately drops down and makes the cover.

PGJR picks up Fairchild, snapmares him over and follows up with a dropkick to the back of the head. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

PGJR sits up Fairchild and applies a rear chinlock from behind. The ref asks Fairchild if he wants to give up. But Fairchild refuses to quit. So PGJR jerks back on the chin, increasing the pressure. Fairchild can be seen cringing in pain. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. But again, Fairchild refuses to quit.

Clement: Gordon, Jr once again now with a submission hold. He's trying his best not just to keep this match on the ground, but wear A.J. out. The man can't fly if he has no energy left.

Fairchild slowly turns over onto his knees. After getting up to his feet, he reaches back, grabs PGJR by the head with both hands and drops down with a seated jawbreaker, breaking the hold to cheers from the crowd. While PGJR is dazed, Fairchild gets up and runs into the ropes. When Fairchild comes back, PGJR goes for a clothesline. But Fairchild ducks and runs into the ropes. When Fairchild comes back, he delivers a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover. The crowd cheers. As PGJR gets up and turns around, Fairchild charges at him and connects with a dropkick, sending PGJR stumbling through the ropes and to the floor. Fairchild then gets up and waves his arms up an down, trying to amp up the crowd. The crowd cheers.

Clement: What's he setting up for?

Grayson: Gee, what do you think?

As PGJR slowly gets up on the outside, Fairchild runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he charges towards the ropes. PGJR sees this, so he takes a few steps out of the way. But Fairchild slides to the outside, runs up from behind and knocks him with a clothesline. The crowd cheers.

Fairchild then hops back up onto the apron, takes a couple of steps back and waits impatiently for PGJR to get up. Once PGJR gets up on the outside, Fairchild runs along the apron, hops off and takes PGJR down with a flying hurricanrana. The crowd cheers.

Crowd: A.J.! A.J.! A.J.! A.J.! A.J.!........

Clement: He may not have gotten him on the first attempt, but he was surely going to get him on the second.

As Fairchild gets up and rolls back into the ring, PGJR stays down on the outside. He slowly turns over, grabs the top of the barricade and pulls himself up. Unfortunately, he's right in front of the four FRONTIER superstars who are heckling him.

Grayson: Oh boy....

In particular Kevin Hardaway, who is mocking him. While PGJR is distracted, Fairchild runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Hardaway points behind PGJR. As PGJR turns around, Fairchild knocks him down with a springboard senton to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: And A.J. knocks him down with a huge dive to the outside! He never had time to get out of the way!

Grayson: Once again, he let Kevin Hardaway get to him.

Fairchild picks up PGJR and rolls him back into the ring. He then climbs up onto the apron and waits for PGJR to get back up. Once PGJR gets up and turns around, Fairchild goes for a springboard dropkick. But PGJR side steps and swats him down to cheers from the crowd. As Fairchild slowly gets up on all fours, PGJR stands over him, applies a crossface chickenwing, and then bridges forward into the Pat Lock. The crowd cheers.

Clement: PAT LOCK! PAT LOCK! This could be it!

PGJR cinches in the hold as Fairchild can be heard moaning in pain. The ref asks Fairchild if he wants to give up. But Fairchild refuses to quit. He then reaches over with his left leg and drapes his foot across the bottom rope. The ref gives PGJR until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: 1....................2..................3.................4...........

PGJR breaks the hold. He then picks up Fairchild, scoops him up across his shoulder and then wraps him up in the Tree of Woe in the corner. After delivering a series knee strikes to the midsection, PGJR walks back towards the centers of the ring. He then turns around, darts over towards the corner and connects with a baseball slide to the face, knocking Fairchild down from the corner. The crowd cheers as PGJR drags him away from the ropes, turns him over and makes the cover.

PGJR picks up Fairchild, brings him into the corner and goes to slam his head into the top turnbuckle. But Fairchild puts his foot on the middle turnbuckle to block the move, elbows PGJR in the chest and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers. He then turns PGJR around and lights up his chest with a series of knife-edge chops. Fairchild then takes PGJR and whips him into the opposite corner. He runs, jumps and goes for a diving body splash. But PGJR moves out of the way, causing Fairchild to crash into the turnbuckles as the crowd gasps. As Fairchild stumbles back, PGJR grabs him from behind and hits a bridging german suplex.

Fairchild gets his shoulder up to cheers from the crowd. After the near fall, PGJR slaps the canvas in frustration.

Grayson: Sooooooo close.

PGJR takes Fairchild, brings him into the corner and sits him down across the top turnbuckle. After climbing up to the second turnbuckle, he grabs a hold of Fairchild and goes for a belly to belly superplex. But Fairchild blocks the move. So PGJR goes for another belly to belly. But again, Fairchild blocks the move. He then nails PGJR with a punch to the face, breaking the hold. As Fairchild stands up on the top turnbuckle, PGJR climbs up to the top turnbuckle and nails him with the Irish Kiss. While Fairchild is stunned, PGJR quickly grabs him and delivers an overhead belly to belly superplex. Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd. PGJR slowly turns over, inches over towards Fairchild and drapes his arm across his chest for the cover.

Fairchild gets his shoulder up. The crowd cheers as PGJR drops his head in disappointment. Meanwhile, Hardaway can be seen rubbing it in, giving a mocking round of applause and shouting that Gordon was sooooooooo close.

PGJR gets up and looks directly over at Hardaway. PGJR sneers as Hardaway once again motions for him to bring it on. As PGJR turns and heads back over towards Fairchild, Fairchild gets up and hits a quick spinning back kick to the midsection. While PGJR is doubled over, Fairchild hits a hesitation swinging neckbreaker to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

PGJR gets his shoulder up. The crowd cheers has his hands on his hips in disbelief.

Clement: Another near fall, this time for Fairchild. Both of these men have come within an eyelash of victory.

Fairchild picks up PGJR, brings him into the corner and sits him down across the top turnbuckle. Fairchild then climbs up to the top turnbuckle, hops up onto PGJR's shoulders and goes for a frankensteiner. But PGJR throws him down, sending Fairchild back-first onto the canvas to cheers from the crowd. Fairchild arches his back in pain. But PGJR can't get up to capitalize.

Just as PGJR begins to stand up on the top turnbuckle, Fairchild rolls over, gets up and dives into the corner. He knocks PGJR's legs back, forcing him to slip, fall and wind up crotched on the top turnbuckle. Fairchild then turns around, only to blast PGJR in the face with a pele kick to cheers from the crowd. He gets back up, climbs up the turnbuckles, hops on top of PGJR and takes him down with a top rope hurricanrana to cheers from the crowd. As PGJR bounces off the canvas and sits up in a dazed state, Fairchild quickly sits down behind him and locks on Holy Mutilation. The crowd cheers as Fairchild cinches in his submission hold. He then applies the bodyscissors as he turns PGJR over onto his side.

Clement: He's got it lcoked in!

Grayson: Will Gordon give up?

Clement: And look at that bastard Kevin Hardaway mocking Pat Gordon and telling him to tap. The nerve!

The crowd continues to cheers as Fairchild has the hold firmly applied. The ref asks PGJR if he wants to give up. But he gets no answer. The ref asks him again. Still no answer. So the ref raises his arm. It falls down. The ref raises his arm again. It falls down. The ref raises his arm and lets go. The arm falls down for a third time. The crowd cheers as the ref calls for the bell.

"Busy Being Born" blasts over the PA to cheers form the crowd...

Cruz: Here is your winner, A.J. Fairchild!

A.J. Fairchild gets up and raises his arm in the air to boos from the crowd. He then slips through the ropes and heads to the outside.

Clement: A.J. Fairchild picks up his second victory of the night, thus bringing him to the finals to face Ryan Kidd.

Grayson: Kidd vs. Fairchild? Hmm, that one is going to be something else.

Clement: It certainly is. I cannot wait. Pat Gordon, Jr gave it his all out there tonight. There's no shame in losing to a guy like Fairchild. But that hurricanrana off the top must have knocked him silly. And once A.J. locked on the Holy Mutilation, it was all over from there.....

[ FADE OUT ]

Clement: Well up next we have a debuting tag team, who are said to be the future of Tag team wrestling.

Grayson: That's right, in the ring right now are a team known as the ascension of the cross and have been terrorising the local wrestling scene. And tonight they are being given the chance to show themselves to the world

Clement: Lets go over to Cruz for the introductions.

Cruz: Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing first from Baltimore, Maryland. Weighing in at a total combined weight of 451lbs, Mike Ranstin & William Ross... The Ascension of the Cross!!

The two men dressed in black raise their hands to the crowd to a mixed reaction. Some of the more local fans know who they are and have seen them before but others have not.

Cruz: And introducing their opp.........

Clement: What the hell is this? That's CJ Osborne and Jason Talbot!!!!

CJ Osborne and Jason Talbot suddenly have jumped the barricade and attack Rastin and Ross from behind knocking them to the mat. Osborne throws Rastin into the corner and stomps on his chest as Talbot is holding Ross's head up and punching him repeatidly.

Grayson: What are these two doing? They can't be doing this!

Osborne locks in one of his finishing moves, the Grapevine Ankle Lock while Talbot applies a Boston Crab on Ross. The two are down and bloodied and Hardaway and Gambino hop the barricade, slide into the ring and start to stomp on the pair making it four on two!

Grayson: Get these guys out of the ring!

Clement: Here comes the calvery!!

FGA wrestlers Pat Gordon, Jr, A.J. Fairchild, Ryan Kidd, Scott Richter, Golden Dragon Yashimoto, Ryu Kanata and Jack Owyns rush to the ring, Talbot, Osborne, Hardaway and Gambino slide out of the ring quickly and jump back into the crowd. The FGA wrestlers stare down the FRONTIER wrestlers who walk up the steps through the crowd laughing and pointing.

Grayson: FRONTIER have signed their own death warrants with their actions here tonight!

The FGA wrestlers check on Ross and Rastin as the FRONTIER wrestlers disappear from view leaving a mark on FGA with their actions.

Clement: November 4th in New Jersey FGA will show FRONTIER they picked the wrong guys to mess with!!

(( Justice Young is standing by with Chander Scott. ))

Justice: Joining me right now is Chandler Scott. Chandler, you are moments away from defending your FGA Heavyweight Championship against Jared James. Any last thoughts?

Chandler: You want my final thoughts? Here's my final thoughts. Everything that I've already said or ever needed to say has been said. I told you people that Jared James had no heart. And over the course of the past several weeks, his actions have shown you just that. I told you that Jared James wasn't ready for this spot. And over the course of the past several weeks, his actions have proved just that. And I told you that I would go out there to that ring and destroy Jared James. And my actions momentarily will prove just that.

(Chandler smirks)

Let's face the facts, Jared. You don't deserve any of the adulation you've been given. That belongs to me. You don't deserve the love and the respect that these fans shower upon you. That should be reserved for me. Hell, you don't even deserve a shot at my title. You are beneath me. You always have been and you always will be. There was a time when you would have been a very formidable opponent. But that time has long since past, hasn’t it? Oh yes it has. And since then, you have been coasting on what? Your name? Your legacy? The hopes and dreams of all the idiots in the stands who actually think you have a shot in hell of taking this belt from me? Pfft, please! You will be taking nothing, you understand me, n-o-t-h-i-n-g NOTHING away from me.

On second thought, nevermind.

There is one thing you will be taking from me in this match. A lesson, in fact. And the lesson that you will be taking away from this match is simple. Time has passed you by. It is over for you, Jared. It's over. So you can join Michael Tomkins, Blaine Harrison, Micky O'Reilly, Sean Fallon, Jacques Mercier, James Weck, Scott Reave and all the rest of the has beens and pretenders that I've outlasted! This is my belt. And there is nobody, and I mean nobody, that will be able to take this away from me. I will walk into that match the Heavyweight Champion. And I will walk out the Heavyweight Champion. Anything less would be........ uncivilized.

Nero’s "Guilt" starts up as the arena goes dark with a sole light fixated on the curtain. Smoke begins to pour into the venue when, finally, Jared James comes out from the back. As the music continues to blare, Jared James walks down to the ring with a grin spread across his face.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. And it is for the FGA Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first.... now residing out of Boston, Massachusetts... weighing in at 205 pounds.... JARED JAMES!

Once at ringside James rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring before heading to his corner. In his corner he sits down on the middle rope, his elbows on his knees and hands behind his head as he mentally preps himself for the upcoming contest.

Clement: Jared James has been awfully quiet as of late. Some say he's not ready. Some say he's focused more than he ever has een before. This may be his last shot at the FGA Heavyweight Championship. So he's got to make it count at all costs.

The classic beginning notes of "Ride of the Valkyries" plays over the PA as the fans in attendance know who is about to grace them with their presence. Out through the curtain steps Chandler Scott, wearing his Harvard letterman jacket. Walking down the ring with him is Madison Scott, who walks arm and arm with him. The two lovebirds ignore the boos, jeers and catcalls of the crowd, shooing them away like the trash that they are.

Cruz: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Madison Stewart. From Hyannis Port, Massachusetts... weighing in at 255 pounds.... he is the reigning.... defending.... FGA Heavyweight Champion..... CHANDLER SCOTT!

After Chandler hops onto the apron, he helps Madison up onto the apron. Chandler then sits down on the bottom rope while holding the top rope up for Madison. After Madison makes her way into the ring, Chandler steps into the ring. He slowly turns around in a circular motion with his arms outstretched, basking in his glory while the crowd continues to boo.

Clement: And here is the champion, Chandler Scott. The man has an aura of arrogance about him. He thinks the world should revolve around him. But tonight may just be the night that he receives a long overdue wakeup call. Let's see if Jared James is up to the task.....

The bell sounds as Chandler and Jared make their way to the center of the ring. The crowd boos as Chandler begins to talk down to Jared. He then goes to slap Jared. But Jared blocks it and knocks him down with a punch to the face to cheers form the crowd. Chandler gets back up, but Jared knocks him down with another punch to the face. As Chandler gets up, Jared grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Chandler reverses, sending Jared into the ropes. As Jared comes back, Chandler throws him down with a powerslam. The crowd boos.

Clement: And Chandler immediately throws Jared down after some initial offense from the five year vet.

Chandler then gets up, picks up Jared and knees him in the midsection, doubling him over. He then grabs a hold of Jared, hoists him up and throws him down with a pumphandle drop. The crowd boos as Jared arches his back in pain. But Chandler isn't done. He picks up Jared and whips him hard into the corner. As Jared stumbles from out of the corner, Chandler grabs him and whips him hard into the opposite corner. The impact from turnbuckles sends Jared falling down to the canvas. The crowd boos as Chandler stalks over towards Jared. He then reaches down, picks up Jared and holds him in the air. With each passing second, the boos grow louder and louder. After about 12 seconds, Chandler falls back and delivers a vertical suplex. The crowd boos as Jared sits up arching his back in pain. Chandler gets up and bounces into the ropes. When he comes back he delivers a rolling neck snap. The crowd boos as Jared clutches his neck in pain.

Grayson: Just total domination thus far by Chandler Scott. he talked a big game and thus far, he's backing up.

Clement: And thus far, Jared has unfortunately been everything that Chandler has accused him off. But the match is still early!

Chandler goes over, picks up Jared, sizes him up and knocks him down with a textbook dropkick. The crowd boos as Chandler gets up and flexes.

Crowd: CHANDLER SUCKS! CHANDLER SUCKS! CHANDLER SUCKS! CHANDLER SUCKS! CHANDLER SUCKS!

Clement: Chandler Scott, wasting precious time when he should be going for a cover...

Chandler goes over, picks up Jared and whips him into the ropes. When Jared comes back, he goes for a cross body block. But Chandler catches him in mid air and counters with a rib breaker. The crowd boos as Jared arches his back in pain. Chandler then gets up and slowly circles the ring, motioning for Jared to get up. As Jared turns over and tries to get up from off of all fours, Chandler runs over and nails him in the side of the head with a knee trembler, knocking him down. The crowd boos as Chandler turns him over and makes the cover.

Grayson: He's something else, isn't he?

Clement: Oh, he's SOMETHING alright!

He picks up Jared and whips him into the ropes. When Jared comes back, Chandler knocks him down with the Harvard Hammer. The crowd boos as Chandler makes the cover.

Cruz: Here is your winner and STILL FGA Heavyweight Champion, Chandler Scott.

Madison gets in the ring as Chandler stands over Jared, raising his arms in the air to boos from the crowd. Madison then takes the belt, places it around Chandler's waist and gives him a peck on the cheek to more boos from the crowd.

Clement: Unbelievable...

Grayson: You better believe it. He was right. He was right! He came here to prove a point and he drove it home by nearly driving it through Jared's skull. Chandler came out here to dominate. He came out here to embarrass Jared. And he did just that. There's not a man in that locker room that can take that belt from him. No one.

Clement: Well, the two men that are about to fight in our main event are going to dry their damnedest. And for FGA's sake, I hope they do.....

The screamed intro of "This Is What I Know About Sacrifice" boomed from the PA system. The lights began to flicker as the song kicks in. Ryan Kidd comes out from the back. He began hardcore dancing on the floor spinning around like there's no tomorrow before raising his arms up in the air to the delight of the fans. He walks down to the ring slapping some hands of the fans. He goes around the ring slapping some more hands before stopping in front of a steel steps.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. It is the finals of the New Frontiers Cup, as well as your main event of the evening! Introducing first..... from Long Beach, California....... weighing in at 209 pounds......... RYAN KIDD!

Clement: Ryan Kidd went through Preston Blake. He then got past Ryu Kanata. Now he finds himself in the finals. He's just one win away from gaining a Heavyweight Championship match against Chandler Scott.

Grayson: I've got to admit, Kidd has impressed me tonight. But, he's gotten banged up along the way. if his body can hold up, he's got a shot.

He climbs the steps and stops at the ring apron before looking around the venue. He climbs the top rope from the ring apron and raises both his arms up before somersaulting down to the ring. He walks to the opposite side of the ring and raises his arms again before walking to his corner while his music fades.

A loud foghorn sounds three times, the smoke machine fogs the black curtain as "Busy Being Born" by the band Middle Class Rut plays over the the venue's P.A. sound system.

Emerging from the back curtain is A.J. Fairchild who, hops up and down on the tip of his toes getting pumped for his match. A.J. then jogs down the ramp and high fives a few people on his way to the ring.

Cruz: And his opponent..... from Dallas, Texas...... weighing in at 194 pounds.... A.J. FAIRCHILD

A.J. slides in the ring, and runs towards the nearest turnbuckle. A.J. scales the top of the turnbuckle and throws up a hook'em horns hand sign before jumping down from the turnbuckle.

Clement: A.J. Fairchild defeated Golden Dragon Yashimoto in the opening round. He then got past Pat Gordon, Jr. He's just one win away from not only turning his FGA career around, but also getting a shot at Chandler's FGA Heavyweight Championship.

Grayson: I've got to admit that A.J. has surprised me as well. I didn't think he had it in him anymore. But he's proved me wrong. But, let's see if he can do it again. Just one more time.

The bell sounds as both men make their way to the center of the ring and shake hands. They then set back, circle the ring, head back towards the middle and lock up. After jockeying for position, they shove each other back. Both men look each other up and down before circling the ring once more. They inch closer and closer to each other before locking up. After jockeying for position, Fairchild moves Kidd back into the corner. The ref heads over and gives both men until the count of five to break the hold.

But Kidd ducks the collar and elbow tie up and applies a waistlock from behind. Fairchild tries to pry Kidd's arms from around him, but it's to no avail. He then quickly elbows Kidd in the face, breaking the hold. He then reaches back and throws Kidd down with an arm drag. The crowd cheers. As Kidd gets back up, Fairchild grabs him and whips him into the ropes. When Kidd comes back, Fairchild throws him down with a mexican arm drag. The crowd cheers. Kidd gets back up, turns around and gets thrown back down by another mexican arm drag. The crowd cheers. As Kidd gets up and turns around, Fairchild grabs him and whips him into the ropes. When Kidd comes back, Fairchild goes for a hip toss. But Fairchild steps through it and goes for a hip toss of his own. But Kidd blocks it. Fairchild goes for another hip toss but again, Kidd blocks it. So Fairchild hits him in the midsection, doubling him over. He then drapes his leg across the back of Kidd's neck and performs a backflip. But once Fairchild lands, Kidd throws Fairchild down with an arm drag of his own. The crowd cheers. Fairchild gets back up, but Kidd throws him back down with another arm drag. The crowd cheers. As Fairchild gets up, Kidd grabs him and runs into the ropes. When Fairchild comes back, Kidd goes for a clothesline. But Fairchild ducks, floats over across Kidd's shoulders and brings him down with a crucifix pin.

Grayson: Both of these young men are so evenly matched. You can see how badly they want to get to that next level.

As both men get up, Kidd nails Fairchild with a barrage of stiff forearm strikes to the face. While Fairchild is dazed, Kidd runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Fairchild takes him down with hurricanrana. The crowd cheers as Fairchild reaches back and hooks the leg.

As both men get up, Fairchild unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the building. He then takes Kidd and whips him into the corner. Fairchild charges into the corner. Kidd leans back and tries to give him a boot to the face. But Fairchild catches his foot and yanks Kidd from out of the corner. After Kidd falls back-first against the canvas, Kidd sits up in pain. Fairchild then sizes him up and connects with a stiff kick to the back. The thud from the kick can be heard throughout the building. He then picks up Kidd, grabs him from behind and delivers an atomic drop, followed by an inverted DDT. While Kidd is down, Fairchild gets up, runs towards the ropes, hops up onto the middle rope and connects with the lionsault. The crowd cheers as Fairchild hooks the leg.

After Fairchild picks up Kidd, he connects with a series of right hands. Fairchild then goes for a kick to the gut. But Kidd catches his foot and spins him around. When Fairchild comes back, Kidd lights him up with a series of stiff kicks to the right and left legs. Kidd then connects with a spinning back kick to the midsection. Once he sees Fairchild doubled over, Kidd runs into the ropes. When Kidd comes back, he jumps up and goes for the Engine 45. But Fairchild moves out of the way. Once Kidd lands on the canvas, Fairchild grabs him from behind and goes for a german suplex. But Kidd flips over and lands on his feet. Once Fairchild gets up and turns around, Kidd goes for a running clothesline. But Fairchild ducks. When Fairchild turns around, Kidd goes for the pele kick. But Fairchild crouches down and covers his head, blocking the kick. He then turns Kidd over, hooks his arms around his legs and leans back, catapulting Kidd into the corner. But Kidd lands safely on the middle turnbuckle. Once Fairchild gets up and turns around, he heads over towards the corner. But Kidd steps up onto the top rope, flips off and knocks him down with a Fall From Grace. The crowd cheers as Kidd makes the cover.

Kidd picks him up and whips him into the ropes. When Fairchild comes back, Kidd knocks him down with a dropsault. The crowd cheers. He then gets up, steps through the ropes and waits on the apron for Fairchild to get up. Once Fairchild gets up and turns around, Kidd springboards onto the top rope, leaps off and knocks him down with a flying forearm smash. The crowd cheers as Kidd makes the cover.

As Kidd picks up Fairchild, Fairchild nails him with a series of punches to the midsection. But Kidd stops the attack with an elbow to the back of the neck, dropping Fairchild down to one knee. Kidd then picks him back up and tosses him through the ropes, sending him out onto the apron. As Fairchild slowly gets up on the apron, Kidd runs into the corner and connects with a springboard rebound dropkick, knocking Fairchild off the apron and to the floor. The crowd cheers. Kidd then gets back up and looks around. He then gives an approving nod as he waves his arms up and down to get the crowd fire up. As Fairchild slowly gets up on the outside, Kidd runs into the ropes. When Kidd comes back, he goes for a suicide dive. But Fairchild catches him in mid dive with a pele kick to the head. Cheers and applause are heard through the crowd as Kidd dangles across the middle rope.

Clement: What a kick by A.J. Fairchild!

Grayson: You want to talk about perfect time? Well, there it was right there. These two are really going at it.

Fairchild climbs up onto the apron, brings Kidd out onto the apron and them plants him with a snap DDT onto the apron. The crowd cheers as Kidd lays motionless across the apron. Fairchild shoves him back into the ring, slides himself back in and makes the cover.

Kidd gets his shoulder up. The crowd sighs as Fairchild looks slightly annoyed.

Fairchild picks up Kidd, brings him into the corner and sits him down across the top turnbuckle. After climbing up to the top turnbuckle, Fairchold hops up and goes for a top rope hurricanrana. But Kidd counters by throwing him down with a powerbomb. The crowd cheers as Fairchild arches his back in pain.

Clement: What a hard way to land as the high risk doesn't pay off for A.J. Fairchild.

Grayson: Is Kidd going to put him away right here, right now?

While Fairchild is still down, Kidd slowly begins to stand up on the top turnbuckle. He then looks around, holds his arms out and then flips off, going for the Sink or Swim. But Fairchild gets his knees up, causing Kidd to crash back-first across them. The crowd cheers as Kidd bounces off and rolls around the ring in pain.

Grayson: NO!

Clement: Kidd went for the Sink or Swim, but Fairchild got his knees up just in time.

Grayson: Now both of these men have aching backs!

As Fairchild pulls himself up in the corner, Kidd begins to pull himself up using the ropes across the ring. Fairchild sees this, so he runs over, jumps up and brings Kidd down with a backstabber. The crowd cheers.

Grayson: And even MORE knees to the back!

Fairchild crawls over, turns Kidd over and makes the cover.

As Fairchild picks up Kidd, Kidd nails him with a series of stiff forearm shots to the face. While Fairchild is dazed, Kidd runs into the ropes. Kidd charges into the corner and connects with a yakuza kick that can be heard throughout the building. The crowd cheers. He then brings Fairchild from out of the corner, kicks him in the midsection, hoists him up and drops him with an implant DDT. The crowd cheers as he turns Fairchild over and makes the cover.

Clement: I can't believe it, either.

Grayson: So close.

Kidd then snaps out of it and gets back on track. He picks up Fairchild and goes for a vertical suplex. But Fairchild slips down from behind and applies the Holy Mutilation. The crowd cheers.

Clement: He's go it locked on!

Grayson: He made Pat Gordon, Jr pass out to this earlier!

Kidd flails his arms around wildly, trying to grab on anything he can. But Fairchild falls back, bringing both of them down to the canvas. Fairchild tries to lock on the bodyscissors, but Kidd blocks it by raises his left leg.

The crowd cheers as Fairchild continues to keep the hold applied. The ref asks Kidd if he wants to give up. But Kidd refuses to quit. He then slowly turns over as Fairchild keeps the hold applied. He slowly gets up on one knee, then up to his feet. Kidd leans forward, bringing Fairchild up across his back. After reaching back and grabbing one of Fairchild's legs, Kidd walks across the ring before dropping Fairchild with a backpack stunner, breaking the hold. The crowd cheers. As Kidd gets up, he sees Fairchild on his knees in a dazed state, So Kidd turns and unleashes a series of stiff shoot kicks to the chest, followed by a shoot kick to the face. He then runs into the ropes. When Kidd comes back, he knocks down Fairchild with a Shining Wizard. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

Clement: I thought that was going to put him away.

Kidd picks up Fairchild and nails him with a right hand. Fairchild nails him with one of his own. Kidd nails him with another right hand. Fairchild nails him with one of his own. Kidd throws another punch. But Fairchild blocks it and counters with a spinning back kick to the midsection. While Kidd is doubled over, Fairchild turns him around and goes for a german suplex. But Kidd lands on his feet to cheers from the crowd. As Fairchild gets up and turns around, Kidd runs towards him and throws out a kick to the midsection. Fairchild blocks it, but Kidd counters with an enzuigiri, knocking him down to one knee to cheers from the crowd. Kidd then gets up and nails Fairchild with a roundhouse kick to the head with his right foot. He then nails Fairchild with another roundhouse kick. This time, with the left foot. Fairchild then steps back, sizes up Fairchild and nails him in the face with the White Light. The crowd cheers as Fairchild goes down.

Brayson: He's out of it. That's it. It's over....

Kidd then steps through the ropes, walks along the apron and repeatedly slaps the top turnbuckle to cheers from the crowd. He proceeds to climb the turnbuckle as Fairchild gets up. Once Fairchild turns around, Kidd leaps off and connects with a flying cross body block. But Fairchild rolls through it and hooks the leg.

As both men get up, Fairchild throws out a right hand. But Kidd blocks it. He counters with shoot kicks to the left and right legs, followed by a spinning back kick to the midsection. While Fairchild is doubled over, Kidd runs into the ropes. When Kidd comes back, he jumps up for the Engine 45. But Fairchild moves out of the way. After Kidd lands on the canvas and he stands upright, Fairchild blasts him in the back of the head with the Metta World Elbow. Kidd falls face-first to the canvas like a cut tree to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Fairchild just clocked him in the back of the head with that elbow!

Grayson: He looks out of it!

Clement: This could be it!

Fairchild slowly gets up to his feet. he looks around in disbelief. Once it finally sinks in, he heads into the corner, climbs up onto the second turnbuckle and throws up the hook'em horns hand sign to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: He's done it! A.J. Fairchild has done it! He's won the 2012 New Frontiers Cup! So many didn't think he'd be able to do it after some poor showings as of late. But he learned from those mistakes. He grew from those mistakes. He rededicated himself and now he's the 2012 New Frontiers Cup winner, as well as the #1 contender to the FGA Heavyweight Championship! Congratulations to A.J. Fairchild!

As A.J. continues to celebrate in the ring, Chandler Scott steps through the curtain to boos from the crowd. Fairchild turns and sees the cause of the boos. Once he's got Fairchild attention, Chandler slowly raises his Heavyweight Championship to boos from the crowd. Fairchild can be seen moving his hands back and forth around his waist in between pointing at Chandler....
