Ring Entrance
The lights in the arena dim and then “Whatever Happened To My Rock and Roll?” by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club cues up. There is decent build up and when the song really kicks in Finale throws back the curtain appears on the stage. The man they call Super Shredder walks down the aisle, looking out into the crowd. Support is strong for The Buffalo Butcher as he confidently strides forward. He makes his way to the ring and enters, sliding in under the bottom rope. He then runs to a turnbuckle and stands with one knee up. He leans on said knee and looks around, then towards the ramp. He then obnoxiously mugs for the camera and hops down.
Ring Attire
- Black jean cut offs torn just above the knees. They read ‘Super Shredder’ on the backside in green
- Black Doc Martins w/ ‘Butcher’ airbrushed on the back of each. Green soles.
- Black knee pads.
- Black leather belt with a large script ‘F’ buckle outlined in green.
- Black Wayfarers [Entrance Only]
- 'Super Shredder' T-Shirt [Entrance Only]
Bio
Finale was trained by his father Scott Palmer at the Maple Factory in Toronto. There he met his then longtime girlfriend Ramona Holiday. The two graduated in late 2010 and in early 2011 showed up in Palmer's own federation, the Epic Wrestling Organization. After being 'fired' by The Board of Directors, Finale and Ramona signed with the returning BWF.
Upon their arrival in BWF Finale defeated the Hall of Famer Cody Clark (his cousin and eWo Board Member) in his debut match. Over the course of the next month Finale would win the United States Title as well as defeat the BWF Chairman David Blazenwing. BWF selected Finale as their representative in the mother federation AoWF's King o’ Extreme Championship match at Honor Bound, which he won. This marked the first time a BWF wrestler had laid claim to an AoWF championship. Within a few months Finale defeated Emily Corlen to win his first World Championship.
As BWF World Champion, Finale spent most of his time back in eWo. When he did appear on BWF television, he seemed uninspired and bored. He took a couple losses during those weeks and seemed to phone in every performance. Having the champion not really care about the company really hurt BWF moral, some saying it was the key factor in it’s eventual rebranding. Eventually this saw Finale lay down the title and publicly renounce the company.
In what was a predictable move, Finale signed with Victory Wrestling shortly after. Rumors were flying about where he would end up, but the writing was on the wall after Lisa Seldon and Scott Palmer announced a partnership between eWo and VW. Around the same time, Finale began a part time career in Rebel Pro Wrestling and his first highlight there saw him defeat his former boss Gabe Shelley in an Ultimate Tables match at Hell-O-Ween 2011. This came just a few short weeks after defeating VW World Champion Johnny Maverick via submission on Victory Wrestling Television. A few days after he beat Shelley, he represented Victory Wrestling in his father’s federation eWo when he defeated eWo Hall of Famer Czecher in a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match. This feud would continue resulting in a Buried Alive match that saw Finale do just that to his hated rival. However this action changed Super Shredder and resulted in him taking a hiatus. He was released from both of his contracts soon after.
1) Name: Cody is fine.
2) How'd you find out about FGA?: I handle at New Wave.
3) What attracted you to FGA?: The sleek design, grassroots kind of feel. Results seem fleshed out and well-written. It's a unique looking federation.
4) Do you have any contact info other than an e-mail? AIM? MSN? Yahoo Messenger? Twitter? Other?: No.
5) Are you in any other federations at the moment besides FGA?: I handle Finale and Howl Jnr. as The Dead Rabbits in New Wave.
