After Neal Durden’s SSWA Rising Star Championship win at the Shooting Star Arena he was greeted by plethora of wrestler congratulating the young welshman on his first singles accolade in his career. Yet, one face seemed out of place here, former Rising Star champion himself, Adam Adonis, was standing there waiting for Durden. Reminiscing of their time together at the UKWF locker room, Adonis greeted Neal. Then tapped on the belt and proceeded to speak.
Adam Adonis: “I remember when I won that belt you’re carryin’ right now. It was against Izzy Anders, they mighty Izzy Anders.”
The way Adonis ushered Anders’ name had some inherent cockyness to it; he sounded proud to say it. He then looked at Neal and continued speaking.
Adam Adonis: “Of course, that was a lon’ time ago. But bein’ here for SSWA’s last set of shows is somethin’ else. But, you aren’t here to hear me speak. All in all, enjoy the moment, for all that it last, kid; you’ve earned it.”
Durden put the belt over his shoulder proudly and proceeded to continue his path; but, Adonis stopped him for a few more words.
Adam Adonis: “One last thin’... keep risin’.”
After that, Adonis tucked both of his hands back into this black leather jacket as Neal continued his path towards Lowri Moss who awaited him with her arms extended.
