Since last night I've had people ask me what was going on with J-K, and after speaking with him earlier today he's told me it's okay to let everyone else know.
I'm afraid to tell everyone that John's grandfather suddenly passed away early yesterday evening, and the first he knew of this is when I had to tell him what had happened during the show.
For those of you who weren't aware, it was his grandfather who first introduced him to wrestling. John often talks about how he and his grandpa would watch wrestling shows on TV, and even when he was a little older how his grandfather took him to his first live show, and this is how he was bitten by the wrestling bug. When he went from watching matches to competing in them, his grandfather was both proud and supportive, and the two would regularly have long phone conversations about the matches he had been in and the shows he had been on.
Sadly that part of his life is gone now, so he's back home with his family making arrangements.
With this in mind, I am asking the roster to do him the biggest favour I can possibly ask: for everyone to put aside whatever goes on inside or outside the ring and to give him messages of support, as he needs the support and encouragement of his peers during this dark period in his life.
Thank you in advance

As soon as Noelle was made aware of Cherry's message about Johnny's grandfather she made a couple of calls to make sure that a flower arrangement was sent, as well as an assortment of restaurant gift cards - the last thing someone should have to think about was where to get food when dealing with all the things that had to be taken care of after the passing of a relative. She sent a short note with it as well for Cherry:
Thank you sweetie for letting everyone know, could you please give Karma my condolences and if you two need anything, you have my number.
Noe.

"As someone that's been through the loss of his own father, I know how hard it can be. Hope you're doing well and if you need anything I'm here man. Don't care about the past, know that sometimes we can set aside our differences for things this important. Be well man." - Dan Herrera
