Trying to Express

The camera comes into focus looking directly at a computer screen. On the screen is a video editing program. Stuck in a still on the screen is the tail end of what looks like a spinning heel kick with Bree still in the air afterwards and one of the other trainees on the ground after being hit with the move. The mouse moves over and clicks on a large T button the side. It then clicks again inside the image which has different smoke effects covering the outer parts of the video. Words then begin to form over the video still.
The mouse moves over some text effects and brightens the font making it peach with a pink outer glow. The mouse then goes up to the top toolbar and clicks the play button.
A video package begins playing with no sound to it. First it shows a clip of Bree Nelson hitting her sparring partner with a Hiptoss, it is surrounded by a smoky layer bordering the video as text pops up.
Right after the hiptoss, a video from training of Bree holding her opponent in a chinlock as she stands on her tippy toes. Text pops up on the screen again.
Again, after the chinlock, Bree is seen standing as her sparring partner runs in. She then drops them with an arm drag takedown as the text once again comes onto the screen.
After the arm drag takedown, another smoky outlined video of Bree Irish whipping her sparring partner into the ropes and jumping up hitting a dropkick on them plays. As expected, more text fills the screen.
Finally, the video we saw being edited at the beginning of the scene shows up on the screen. Once again Bree has Irish whipped her sparring partner into the ropes. This time when he comes back Bree jumps up hitting them with the move she made sure to focus on all week, her spinning heel kick. The last bit of text once again is shown on the screen before the video fades out without a sound throughout.
The camera pans out now and Bree Nelson is sitting in front of the computer which is set up on top of a coffee table as she sits on a plastic crate at her makeshift ‘desk’ in her new North Carolina apartment. She smiles at the screen as Donnie walks in the front door and sets his gym bag down. Bree doesn’t notice him and he sees what she is doing on the computer. He walks up putting his hand on her shoulder. She is startled for a second before looking up at him. He smiles at her and nods liking the video that is set to loop right now. Bree then signs to him.
Bree: <signing> I didn’t know how to get my words across. So I made this video for my match against Ligaya.
Donnie: <signing back> Looks great. Kind of quiet though.
Bree cocks her head at Donnie and he laughs a bit.
Bree: <signing> That’s what you’re for. I want you to pick some music for it. Please?
Donnie pulls up another plastic crate and sits down on it after Bree pulls hers out from in front of the computer.
Donnie: <signing> But of course.
