FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
© Nina Stokes vs. Mark Storm
Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;
A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger! Hailing from Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 225 pounds! He is "Your Hero and Mine" MARK STORM!
He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, swaggering his way down.
This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero
To call "home."
At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring. He heads over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.
Kris Cruise: Mark Storm earned this opportunity by winning that Breakout Battle Royal and calling his shot. He’s picked up an impressive victory over Savannah Taylor since then. But in recent weeks, he’s gone radio silent.
Stephy Auger: Some would say that he’s been shutting out all outside distractions to focus solely on the task at hand tonight. But I don’t think that’s the case at all. What you see before your is no Hero of yours. He’s definitely no Hero of mine. What we see right now, Cruise, is a man that’s running scared. The euphoria of winning that battle royal was quickly replaced with the crippling fear of having to get in the ring with Nina Stokes. He knows he’s screwed.
The lights in the arena dim to a fairly darkened level. A couple of seconds pass before MUCC’s “Sei to Shi to Kimi” begins to play. The base of the entrance becomes fills up with heavy smoke. Nina Stokes makes her way out from the back a few seconds later. She emerges from the smoke after a moment or two. She gives a sly sneer to camera before she makes her way towards to the ring.
J.A. Aldridge: His opponent, hailing from Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 140 pounds! She is the reigning... defending... FGA World Champion... "The Kodiak" NINA STOKES!
Her pace down to the ring deliberate and leisurely. The camera zooms in on the FGA World Championship that rests on her waist. She tosses a couple of glances towards the crowd, but for the most part, she keeps her eyes fixated on the square circle. Nina flexes her arms a bit as she reaches the end entryway. She cracks her neck and completely circles the ring one time. Afterwards, Nina cracks her knuckles and slides into the ring.
Nina paces around for a moment. Then she removes her jacket and tosses it into the corner. Afterwards, Nina removes the championship belt from her waist and walks to the center of the ring. She hoists the FGA World Championship high into the air as a wick smirk forms. When she is done, she casually gives the belt to the referee. Nina pulls on the ropes and stretches before she lounges in the corner and waits for the start of the match.
Kris Cruise: Nina Stokes has been nothing short of dominant after she turned her sights towards the FGA World Championship. After defeating Lowri Moss and ending her record-setting reign earlier this year, there hasn’t been a single grappler on FGA’s roster that’s been able to pin her or make her submit.
Stephy Auger: Correction, Cruise, Nina’s been dominant since she first stepped foot in FGA at the top of 2019. There were a couple small hiccups here and there, thanks to the scheming of Sadie San Francisco. But Nina fixed that by permanently removing Sadie from FGA and all of wrestling. There’s only one person that I can think of in recent memory that’s gotten the better of The Kodiak. The unfortunate news for that man is that he’s far from the wrestler he was then and Nina is 10 times better now. If Mark Storm was lulling Nina into a false sense of security, then I’d be concerned for the champion. But I don’t think that’s the case at all. Mark Storm is a nervous, intimidated, scared man that knows his chances of survival tonight are slim to none.
The bell sounds as Stokes and Storm start things off with a lock up. After jockeying for position, Storm starts to move Stokes across the ring towards the ropes. At the last second, Stokes pivots and presses Storm up against the ropes. The referee then gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR...
Both grapplers make a clean break... until Stokes nails Storm with A Slice of Grace (Throat Punch)!
Kris Cruise: That was deliberate.
Stephy Auger: You can tell the lack of respect she has for Storm. You can hear the distaste for that man in her voice whenever she addresses him.
Storm doubles over from the strikes. The champion knocks Storm back upright with a rising knee to the chin. From there, Stokes grabs Storm's arms and nails him with repeated trapping headbutts. After she lets go, Storm starts to slide down against the ropes while she hits the far side of the ring. The Kodiak returns off the rebound, picks up speed on her way back and nails Storm with a front push kick that knocks Storm through the ropes to the floor!
Kris Cruise: Did you hear that impact? Storm fell to the outside and fell hard!
Stephy Auger: Gregory Murphy is over there telling him to get up. He’d be better off telling his client to play dead!
Storm lays splayed out on the outside until Stokes steps out onto the apron and hits him with a diving double foot stomp.
Kris Cruise: Stokes put a little something extra of that stomp!
Stokes picks up the challenger before ramming him back-first against the edge of the apron. Storm gets pushed back inside the ring before Stokes rolls back in. From there, Stokes sends him across the ring with an irish whip. When Storm returns, he gets knocked off his feet with a running roundhouse. Stokes sits up Storm and delivers a knife edge chop across the back of the neck, followed a shoot kick to the chest that flattens him across the mat, followed by a jumping senton. Stokes returns to her feet before dropping across Storm with a second jumping senton. The boos continue as she crushes Storm with a third seated senton. She turns over and makes the cover.

Stokes pulls him up by the hair.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Kris Cruise: There’s no need for this. She’s better than that.
Stephy Auger: Nina Stokes isn’t the one in that ring you should be chastising, Cruise.
As Stokes pulls Storm back to his feet, he starts to fight back with rights and lefts to the midsection. He then turns and takes off into the ropes. When Storm returns, Stokes muscles him down with an STO.
Stephy Auger: So much for that comeback!
Kris Cruise: The Kodiak was quick to snuff that out.
The Kodiak returns to her feet. She stands over Storm and holds up his arms by the wrists before raining down repeated stomps to the face chest and neck! Stokes pulls Storm back to his feet before a rolling solebutt doubles him over. Storm is then sent into the corner before Stokes crushes him with running doubles knees! The champion runs across the ring, bounces out of the corner, runs back over and nails him with running double knees again! Storm slumps down to a seated position as Stokes takes off into the far corner. She bounces off the turnbuckles, charges back across the ring and blasts Storm in the face with a bicycle knee!
Kris Cruise: Good God, what a knee from the champion!
Stephy Auger: She tried to break his face with that one.
Stokes looks down and simply shakes her head at Storm. The crowd boos as she slaps him across the face. The boos grow louder when she slaps him again. Then again! Stokes reaches down, grabs him by the hair and slowly pulls him back to his feet. From there, Storm swats Stokes off of him and connects with a forearm strike. The crowd cheers when Stokes gets caught with another forearm. Storm continues to connect with forearms until a rolling solebutt doubles him over. The Kodiak then cups his chin with her hand and raises his head up before nearly knocking his head off. A mist of sweat flies off of Storm's face as he gets blasted with the Divine Night (Rolling Elbow)!
Kris Cruise: Storm just got clobbered with that hard elbow.
Stephy Auger: I’m pretty sure I just saw a tooth go flying into the fifth row.
Stokes pulls Storm up to his knees before taking off into the ropes. When Stokes returns, she cracks him with Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III (Boma Ye Knee Strike)! The boos continue as she makes the cover.

THREE!
The crowd erupts with boos as “Sei to Shi to Kimi” blares throughout the arena.
J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout... aaaaaand STIIIILLLLL FGA World Champion, NINA STOKES!
Kris Cruise: Nina Stokes has done it again! Not only did she defeat Mark Storm, but she defeated him in dominant fashion. I can’t recall an FGA main event, especially one on pay per view, that was this one sided.
Stephy Auger: Nina Stokes is in a different class than Mark Storm. It’s as simple as that. This match was over well before it even started. Storm knew in his heart that he didn’t have it in him to beat Nina and you saw why tonight. The Kodiak mauled that man from the moment the bell was rung. The result was never in doubt.
Kris Cruise: The Kodiak defeated Lowri Moss, who we heard from at the very top of the show. She’s defeated Fujiko Mine multiple times. She eliminated Seth Iser to win the Gold Rush Rumble last year. No one has slowed down Nina Stokes since she set her sights on that FGA Championship. Is there anyone in FGA that can stop her? That’s the question at hand and honestly, I don’t think there is.
Stephy Auger: Would you look at that? We end the night on something that we agree on! I couldn’t have said it better myself. I would suggest the FGA roster get used to the view because that title will in the hands of The Kodiak until she says otherwise!
The boos continue as Stokes puts her foot on Storm’s chest before raising the FGA World Championship.
