MAIN EVENT
CHAMPION vs. CHAMPION
(c) Lowri Moss vs. (c) Ace Voltage
The arena goes dark and "Thunderstruck by AC/DC starts blaring over the sound system. As the words "THUNDER" are shouted into the arena each time, the lights flash yellow.
I WAS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A RAILROAD TRACK
A white spotlight shines on the ramp and Ace Voltage appears from backstage, once the lyrics start going. He is wearing a black jacket with his name on the back and his light blue tights. He shines a smirk to the crowd, zips open the jacket to show off his torso and the rest of the lights come on, with yellow and blue lighting flashing around. He walks down the ramp, nodding his head to the music, laughing to himself when he hears the boos and insults from the crowd. As he's going down the entrance ramp, he walks close to the guardrail ready to slap the hands of the one or two fans. Before he can slap their hands, he quickly rips his hands away, smirks to the booing fans and walks down to the ring.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! Introducing first, hailing from London, England! Weighing in at 15.8 stone! He is the reigning FGA Pride Champion… ACE VOLTAGE!
He jumps up onto the apron and steps into the ring. He walks to the corner, jumping on the second rope, looking out into the crowd. He raises an arm in the air, smirking and smiling to the fans. After a few seconds, he jumps down, takes his jacket off and waits for the match to start.
Kris Cruise: Alright, Stephy, it is main event time. Ace Voltage, the reigning Pride Champion is out first. For months - years, even - Ace Voltage has proclaimed himself as The Main Event. Well, it's put up or shut up time as far as I'm concerned. He can't talk the way that he talks and then get himself intentionally counted out. He can't do that again. he's got to fight The Standard Bearer of FGA and beat her.
Stephy Auger: ...and that's exactly what he's going to do. Members of this roster have mocked him. Even you've mocked him, Cruise. The only time I've seen a crowd fully embrace Ace and give him the respect that deserves was at Royal Battle. But after tonight, you will give him the respect that he deserves when he beats FGA's poster child like a drum.
“Loner Boogie” by Boy Azooga plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, through the curtains - and out onto the stage - walks Lowri Moss, who is greeted by a cheer. Lowri takes a moment to scan the crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her.
J.A. Aldridge: His opponent, hailing from Llanelli, Wales! Weighing in at 142 pounds! She is the reigning FGA Undisputed Champion… LOWRI MOSS!
After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. There are further cheers and applause for Lowri from the fans, and as she again surveys the crowd, she gestures to them by making the ILY sign with her right hand, in acknowledgement of their reaction to her arrival.
Kris Cruise: Lowri Moss is coming off a highly competitive, highly emotional championship match. There's no titles on the line tonight. Not Lowri's, not Ace's. But pride is on the line. professional pride is on the line and you can bet that Lowri will act like her gold is at stake. There's a reason why she's now being heralded as the Standard Bearer of FGA and that's because she continues to raise the bar.
Stephy Auger: If you say something enough times, people will start to believe it. That's what I think of this push to call her a "standard bearer". She was apart of a great tag team. She's a Triple Crown Winner and a Grand Slam champion. I'll give her that. But is she really better than the greats of yesterday? Hell, is she even better than the man standing across the ring from her? I don't think so.
The bell sounds as the Undisputed Champion and the Pride Champion make their way out of the respective corners. They start to circle the ring before stopping to notice the crowd.
“VOLTAGE SUCKS!”
“VOLTAGE SUCKS!”
“VOLTAGE SUCKS!”
“VOLTAGE SUCKS!”
Kris Cruise: This crowd is letting Ace know that he's number one in their hearts.
Voltage looks over to Moss and sees the Undisputed Champion cupping her ear to the crowd.
“LET’S GO, LOWRI!”
*CLAP-CLAP, CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*
“LET’S GO, LOWRI!”
*CLAP-CLAP, CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*

“LET’S GO, LOWRI!”
*CLAP-CLAP, CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*
Stephy Auger: She can play up to the crowd all she wants. The crowd won't win you matches, but they'll damn sure help you lose them.
Moss starts to clap her hands while she resumes circling the ring. The two champions size each other up before locking up. After jockeying for position, Voltage muscles Moss across the ring before pressing her up against the turnbuckles. The ref is quick to give them to the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Voltage grabs a hold of Moss and launches her out of the corner with a biel throw! Moss bounces off the mat before rolling across the ring. The Undisputed Champion returns to her feet and sees Voltage parading around with his arms in the air. So she heads back over and locks up with him again. Both grapplers jockey for position until Voltage muscles her back into the corner. The ref is once again quick to step in and give them to the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Both grapplers make a clean break. Voltage tries for a wild knife edge chop, but Moss is able to slip out of the way. When Voltage turns around, Moss throws out a right hook. Voltage ducks the hook and counters with a slap across the face! Moss tries to go after Voltage, but he wisely sticks his upper body between the top and middle ropes, which forces the ref to move Moss back. The crowd boos as Moss reluctantly backs away from the ropes. Voltage continues to shoo her away before he slips fully back into the ring. Both grapplers proceed to circle the ring before locking up once more. After jockeying for position, Voltage starts to muscle Moss across the ring again. At the last second, Moss pivots and presses Voltage up against the turnbuckles.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Both grapplers make a clean break. Voltage flinches and covers up when Moss motions for a knife edge chop. The champ stops herself and follows up with a boot to the midsection. From there, Moss lights up Voltage’s chest with repeated shoot kicks. Moss then takes Voltage and sends him for the ride into the opposite corner. The cheers continue as Moss rushes across the ring and connects with a running European Uppercut. She then takes control of Voltage, delivers an irish whip, follows him across the ring and connects with a second running European Uppercut. Moss then delivers another irish whip. NO! Voltage reverses, follows Moss across the ring and blasts her with Thunderstruck (Helluva Kick)! NO! Moss gets her hands up in time and catches his foot before shoving him down to the mat. Voltage rolls backwards onto a knee before Moss rushes out of the corner and flattens him with a Shining Wizard! She makes the cover.

Voltage kicks out.
Voltage gets sent for the ride again. When he returns off the rebound, he sees Moss setting up for a back body drop. So he heads over and knocks her upright with a boot to the face. Voltage then turns and runs back into the ropes. He returns off the rebound and comes to a stop as Moss runs past him towards the same set of ropes. When Voltage turns around, the crowd cheers when Moss knocks him down with A Slice of Heaven (springboard enzuigiri)!
Kris Cruise: Ace got caught with another kick to the head! This isn't good for Ace, Stephy.
Stephy Auger: C'mon, Ace! Get up!
Moss motions for the cover, but Voltage is quick to roll to the outside.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
On the outside, Voltage tries to recover while he holds his hand over his mouth. Once he turns back to the ring, he does a double take before Moss leaps through the ropes and knocks him down with a suicide dive!
Moss takes Voltage and rolls him back inside. She then rolls herself back inside to go for the cover. But once again, she’s unable to pin Voltage as he continues to roll all the way across the ring. The boos continue as Voltage rolls to the outside.
Kris Cruise: Where is he going?
Stephy Auger: This is smart! He isn't letting Moss pin him. He's disrupting her rhythm. It's genus, actually.
Moss marches across the ring before scaling the turnbuckles. Once Moss gets to the top, she remains crouched as she waits patiently for Voltage to get into position. When Voltage finally turns around, Moss stands up, leaps off and knocks him down with a diving crossbody!
Kris Cruise: Moss just took out Voltage with a huge dive to the outside!
Stephy Auger: AAAAACE!
Moss takes Voltage and rolls him back inside. She quickly slides back in, drags Voltage away from the ropes and makes the cover.

Moss moves the action into the corner. From there, the Undisputed Champion lights up Voltages chest with repeated knife edge chops. Voltage is then whipped into the far corner. The cheers continue as Moss runs across the ring before nailing him with a spinning heel kick. Voltage crumbles out of the corner and rolls slowly away while Moss heads into the corner and starts scaling the turnbuckles. One Moss reaches the top, she flips off and hits a moonsault! NO! Voltage rolls out of the way in time, but Moss is able to land on her feet. Moss then runs back over to Voltage while he’s in the middle of returning to his feet. She goes to strike, but Voltage sidesteps, grabs her, runs and tosses her over the top rope. Unbeknownst to him, Moss landed safely on the apron. Moss then runs over towards the ring post before climbing the turnbuckles. When Voltage turns around, he does another double take as Moss leaps off and knocks him down with a second diving crossbody! NO! Voltage rolls through it and pulls Moss up as he returns to his feet. He then hoists Moss into the air, catches her across his shoulders and follows up with a Samoan Drop! The boos continue as Voltage reaches back and hook the near leg.

Voltage takes Moss, moves her into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge cops that echo throughout the arena. He then brings Moss out of the corner before sending her for the ride. When Moss returns, Voltage throws her down with a back body drop. Moss arches her back before Voltage delivers stomps to each body part. The boos continue as Voltage follows up with a jumping knee drop across the chest. Voltage keeps the knee pressed down to make the cover.

Moss kicks out.
Voltage picks up Moss off the mat, places her in a side headlock and scrapes her face across the top rope. He then slams Moss face-first into the top turnbuckle, turns her around and pops her with a snapping jab before smashing her across the jaw with a forearm strike. He then takes hold of Moss’ left leg, drapes it across the middle rope and delivers four stomps to it. Voltage then turns and takes off into the adjacent set of ropes. When Voltage returns, he connects with a running knee strike to the leg. The crowd boos as Voltage hits the far ropes, returns and comes back with a second running knee strike to the left leg. After a third running knee strike to the leg is delivered, Voltage unhooks the leg from off the middle rope, drags Moss out of the corner and brings her down with a dragon screw leg whip. Voltage reaches down, lifts up the left leg and delivers an elbow drop across it. The Pride Champion returns to his feet, lifts up the left leg and delivers a second elbow drop across the leg. After a third elbow drop is delivered, Voltage tries for a figure four. But Moss uses her free leg to push her off of him mid turn. The counter sends Voltage staggering over towards the ropes. While Moss tries to pick herself up off the mat, Voltage rushes over and throws out a running lariat. Moss ducks. Voltage’s momentum sends him into the ropes. When Voltage returns, Moss doubles him over with a boot to the midsection. She then pulls him into position to set up a Cradle Piledriver. But before Voltage can be lifted up, he counters with a standing double leg before following up with a figure four leg lock.
Kris Cruise: Lowri's n a bad spot here.
Stephy Auger: Oh, she's done for now, Cruise.
Moss yells out in pain while Voltage repeatedly falls back to the mat. The ref gets down and asks the Undisputed Champion if she wants to give up. Moss refuses. Moss continues to try to fight through the pain and hang on. Voltage then sits up before scooting himself back on the mat. While the ref continues to check on Moss, he slowly leans back before pulling on the bottom rope with both hands. The crowd erupts with boos while Moss cries out in pain.
Kris Cruise: Come on, ref!
The ref quickly looks over at Voltage. But Voltage has already let go of the ropes. The ref sees the bottom rope moving and questions Voltage. Voltage swears up and down that he didn’t touch the ropes. The ref narrows his eyes at Voltage before turning his attention back to Moss. When the coast is clear, Voltage reaches up and tugs at the bottom rope for extra leverage.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Moss continues to cry out in pain while Voltage tugs on the bottom rope. The ref looks up and finally sees Voltage’s cheating ways. So he runs over and kicks Voltage’s hands off the ropes to the delight of the crowd.
Stephy Auger: Hey!
Voltage immediately gets up and gets in the ref’s face for kicking him.
Kris Cruise: Stephy Auger: That's right! What's the ref thinking!? He can't attack the wrestlers!
Voltage continues to yell at the official until Moss rolls him up with a schoolboy.

Moss once again cries out in pain when she finds herself on the wrong end of a submission. Voltage pulls back on the left knee while he yells for her to tap. The ref gets down and asks Moss if she wants to give up. The champ refuses by shaking her head. So Voltage leans back on the hold. Moss reaches out for the ropes, but she’s quite a distance away from them. The ref asks her again if she wants to give up. Voltage continues to yell at her to tap. The crowd tries its hardest to convince Moss to keep fighting.
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”

The official continues to check in with Moss. It looks like she’s about to tap out. Moss starts to raise her hand off the mat. The crowd grows uneasy. They’re about to see Moss give up. NO! Moss wags her finger at the official. The crowd cheers as Moss reaches forward and pulls herself across the mat. Moss reaches forward and drags herself across the mat again. Voltage is seen shaking his head in disbelief as Moss gets closer and closer towards the side of the ring. Moss groans as she scratches and claws her way to the ropes. She finally reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope. The crowd reacts with cheers and applause.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-
Voltage reluctantly breaks the hold. He turns around and stomps Moss underneath the bottom rope and out to the apron. The self-proclaimed Main Event of FGA steps out to the apron before bringing Moss back to her feet. The crowd gasps when he goes to hoist Moss up for a brainbuster. Those same gasps are replaced with sighs when Moss kicks her legs, forcing Voltage to lower her back down. Voltage tries to lift her up again for another brainbuster. This time, Moss knees him in the head of the way up again. The crowd cheers when Moss catches Voltage with a European Uppercut. A second European Uppercut snaps Voltage's head back. A third European Uppercut sends spittle flying out of the mouth of the Pride Champion. A fourth European Uppercut, however, doesn’t come as Voltage cuts her off with a poke to the eyes. The boos grow louder when Voltage lifts up Moss and plants her with a Cradle DDT on the apron!
Kris Cruise: Lowri got planted right onto the hardest part of the ring!

The ref gets down and asks Moss if she wants to give up. The Undisputed Champion refuses, so Voltage pulls back on the hold. Moss groans as she reaches out for the ropes. Unfortunately for her, she’s nowhere near them. Voltage fights for the submission while repeatedly yelling at Moss to tap. But Moss won’t give. So Voltage begins to repeatedly yank back hard on the hold.
Kris Cruise: Lowri has to hang on! She's got to hang on!
Stephy Auger: Now she doesn't! Just save herself the pain and tap! Don't be an idiot! There's no escape.

He then re-applies The London Special!
Stephy Auger: Ace wants this victory, Cruise! Look at him! Look at how hard he's fighting!
Moss groans as she fights through the pain to pull herself forward a couple of more inches.
