"DREAM MATCH"
Fujiko Mine vs. Lowri Moss
“Loner Boogie” by Boy Azooga plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, through the curtains - and out onto the stage - walks Lowri Moss, who is greeted by a cheer. Lowri takes a moment to scan the crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Llanelli, Wales! Weighing in at 142 pounds… LOWRI MOSS!
After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. There are further cheers and applause for Lowri from the fans, and as she again surveys the crowd, she gestures to them by making the ILY sign with her right hand, in acknowledgement of their reaction to her arrival.
Kris Cruise: Alright, Stephy. This dream bout is about to get underway. We’ve seen Fujiko and Lowri on opposite sides of the ring. But those were tag team matches. Tonight, it’s one on one. In one corner, there’s Fujiko Mine. The only two-time FGA Wrestler of the Year. A Triple Crown winner. A Grand Slam winner. A multi-record holder and the headliner of last year’s Hall of Fame class. Then, on the opposite side of the ring, you have Lowri Moss. A winner of four awards last year. As one half of Pendragon, she helped set the standard for tag teams in FGA with Pendragon’s two US Tag Titles reign and their record-setting World Tag Title reign. As a solo act, she’s been a double champion twice. She’s a former Mid-Atlantic Legacy and Pride Champion. Her biggest feat to date was last year’s Gold Rush Rumble, when she set the record for longest time en route to winning the coveted Rumble. Tonight, she doesn’t have to outlast 29 other competitors. She only has to outlast one. But that one is Fujiko Mine and since 2017, she’s been on a run the likes we’ve never seen before. Seth Iser was able to crack the code and defeat Fujiko not once, but twice. Can Moss join that exclusive company of people that can say they’ve defeated Fujiko recently inside the squared circle?
Stephy Auger: …
Kris Cruise: Stephy?
Stephy Auger: Zzz…
Kris Cruise: Knock it off!
The lights around the arena gradually fade to the point where they are just bright enough that one’s eyes can adjust to make out what’s going around them, but not much brighter. The opening synth waves of “Jason” By The Midnight ft. Nikki Flores washes over the arena.
Keep on Running...
He comes alive in metropolis lights when the music's way too loud
Deep in the night it's easy to hide and he's got it all figured out
White satellites getting lost in his eyes but to him she's just another girl
Roll with the tide like the wind and the sky and he'll only let you downThe beat of the song picks up, and Fujiko saunters out onto stage. The Apex Goddess holds her hands up, pressing the backs of their hands against their forehead in a “crown gesture”.
Oooh Jason
Tell me what you're chasin'
Because the night will never give you what you want
Oooh Jason
And if you can't escape it
I hope you find whatever you've been looking forThe Apex Goddess’ attire glows a hot pink and neon blue, and a torn off-shoulder “Kelly Kapowski” retro top. She saunters down the ramp, and leaps up onto the apron.
J.A. Aldridge: Her opponent, hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Weighing in at 152 pounds! She is the “Apex Goddess” FUJIKO MINE!
She turns around and looks out at the crowd for a moment. She then jumps up onto the top turnbuckle, repeating her crown pose.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko getting back to the unique entrances here tonight against Lowri!
Stephy Auger: It’s not going to do any good for her, she’s gonna get owned worse than she did by Cordy on Twitter!
Kris Cruise: Someone’s leaving out some convenient details...
Where do you go in a town full of ghosts and everybody knows your name
And all the homecoming queens in the small town scenes

Both grapplers circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Moss starts to move Fujiko across the ring. At the last second, Fujiko pivots and presses Moss in the corner. While Moss is pressed against the turnbuckles, the ref heads over and gives both grapplers to the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Fujiko and Moss make the clean break. After Fujiko steps back towards the center of the ring, Moss makes her way out of the corner. She starts to circle the ring before inching back over towards the Apex Goddess. Seconds later, the two lock up again. After jockeying for position, Fujiko starts to move Moss across the ring. At the last second, Moss pivots and presses Fujiko up against the ropes. The ref is quick to give them to the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Moss and Fujiko make the clean break. After Moss steps back towards the center of the ring, Fujiko makes her way over off the ropes and engages in another collar-and-elbow. After jockeying for position, Moss starts to move Fujiko back. Fujiko resists by coming to a stop before pushing Moss back. Moss stumbles back a few steps before regaining her footing. The two grapplers circle the ring again before locking up. After jockeying for position, Fujiko gains the advantage as she starts to move Moss back across the ring. Moss then drops down to a knee while still in the collar-and-elbow. After battling back to a vertical base, Moss shoves Fujiko back a few steps. Moss heads over and engages in another lock up. This time, Moss gains the advantage with a side headlock. She keeps the hold applied before she performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. Moss keeps the advantage until Fujiko spins out and reverses into a hammerlock of her own. Fujiko keeps the hold applied until Moss reaches back with her free arm, grabs Fujiko and brings her down with a jumping snapmare. NO! Fujiko lands on her feet before taking off into the ropes. Fujiko returns and tries to knock Moss down with a running shoulder block. But Moss remains on her feet. Fujiko looks her up and down before taking off into another set of ropes. The Apex Goddess comes back and goes for another running shoulder block. Once again, Moss remains standing.
Fujiko points to another set of ropes and dares Moss to knock her down. Moss obliges as she turns and takes off into another set of ropes. She comes back and goes for a running shoulder block of her own. But Fujiko’s able to absorb the blow and remain on her feet. Moss then heads into another set of ropes. She comes back and tries to knock Fujiko down with a running shoulder block, but it’s to no avail.
Kris Cruise: Things have been pretty even thus far with neither gaining an advantage over the other.
Fujiko and Moss stare each other down before taking off into adjacent set of ropes. Both grapplers crisscross in the middle of the ring twice before Fujiko drops down to a prone position. Moss hops over her before continuing to run the ropes. Fujiko pushes herself up to a vertical base before leapfrogging over Moss. Moss continues to run the ropes. The Apex Goddess keeps her back turned to Moss before leapfrogging over her again. When Moss returns, Fujiko goes to bring her down with a jumping monkey flip. But Moss is able to rotate in the air and land on her feet before continuing to hit the ropes. When Moss returns, she goes to bring Fujiko down with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. But Fujiko ends up cartwheeling out of the hold. Fujiko takes off into the ropes. When she returns, she goes for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors of of her own. But Moss is able to return the favor and escape with a cartwheel. Fujiko quickly returns to her feet with a kip up before staring Moss down near the center of the ring. Both grapplers are met with cheers and applause.
Kris Cruise: Lowri and Fujiko have reached another stalemate.
Stephy Auger: One of them should just punch the other right in the mouth. I don’t want to see these two trading holds. I want to see them knock each others lights out!
Fujiko and Moss lock up. After jockeying for position, Moss gains control with a side headlock. She then performs a standing switch before transitioning into a hammerlock. Moss keeps the hold applied before spinning Fujiko towards her. She goes for an irish whip, but Fujiko reverses. When Moss returns, Fujiko leapfrogs over her before she continues to run the ropes. When Moss comes back, she sees Fujiko execute a split-legend dropdown. Instead of hopping over her, Moss stops, steps to the side and goes for a leg drop. But she misses when Fujiko spins out of the way. Fujiko swings her leg over to kick Moss in the face, but Moss leans back out of the way. Both grapplers scramble to their feet. Fujiko’s back to her feet first, but Moss (while still on one knee), knocks her down to the mat after sweeping her legs out from under her. Moss gets back to her feet and throws out an elbow drop. Moss misses when Fujiko rolls out of the way. The Apex Goddess gets back to her feet and throws out a somersault leg drop. But she misses when Moss rolls out of the way. Moss scrambles back to her feet while Fujiko leans back before returning to a vertical base with a kip up. Fujiko and Moss turn to each before before stepping back after reaching a stalemate. Both grapplers are met with cheers and applause.
Kris Cruise: Things continue to remain even between these two early on. Moss is known for being a striker. But I feel her technical abilities are often times underrated. Fujiko is known for being a high flyer. But lately I’ve heard that she’s been incorporating more throws into her repertoire while also improving her leg strength. We’ll see if these two try and mix things up.
Moss and Fujiko circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Moss regains the advantage with another side headlock. Fujiko goes to shove her off into the ropes. But Moss stays locked on her. Fujiko then hits Moss with a couple of shots to the ribs before trying to push her off into the ropes. Once again, Moss keeps the side headlock applied. The Apex Goddess then takes Moss and moves her into the near ropes. Fujiko tries to pick up speed as she runs before trying to push Moss off. But Moss blocks the escape attempt by dropping down to a knee while keeping the side headlock applied. The ref gets down and asks Fujiko if she wants to give up. Fujiko responds by wagging her finger at the official. After battling back to a vertical base, Fujiko tries to escape with a belly to back suplex. Moss responds by rolling over her shoulder, landing on her feet, spinning Fujiko towards her and slapping on another side headlock. The ref is quick to get in and asks Fujiko if she wants to give up. Fujiko refuses. She then reaches over and grabs a hold of Moss’ wrists. The crowd starts to rally behind Fujiko as she slowly turns while trying to push Moss’ arm from around her neck. She’s nearly reversed into a top wrist lock. But Moss overpowers her by pulling her arm back down quickly and reapplying the side headlock. Fujiko then takes hold of Moss’ leg, lifts her up and delivers a shin breaker, breaking the hold.
Moss hobbles on one leg while Fujiko hit the ropes. The Apex Goddess returns and throws out a low dropkick to the leg. Moss hops over the dropkick attempt. But a soon as Moss lands back on her feet, Fujiko swings her legs around and tries to knock Moss off her feet with a spinning leg sweep. Once again, Moss jumps over the attack. She quickly reaches down and grabs control of Fujiko’s ankles. She’s about to turn Fujiko over into a submission until Fujiko uses her leg strength to shove Moss off of her and into the corner. Fujiko returns to her feet with another kip up before rushing into the corner. Moss counters the attack by dumping her over the top rope. Fujiko lands safely on the apron before sending Moss staggering out of the corner with a rope-assisted gamengiri. NO! Moss turns around in time and swats down the kick. She then tries to catch Fujiko with a forearm shot, but Fujiko ducks. The Apex Goddess quickly goes to counter with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But Moss side steps. She tries to catch Fujiko while she’s halfway thrown the ropes with a Switchblade Kick, but Fujiko slips back out in time. Moss turns and gets doubled over with a shoulder trust on the second attempt. Fujiko then slingshots herself over the doubled over Moss, lands on her feet and takes off into the far ropes. When Fujiko returns, Moss goes for a hip toss into the ropes. But Fujiko counters by ricocheting off the ropes and bringing Moss down with an arm drag. Moss gets back to her feet before Fujiko runs over and executes a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, sending her through the ropes to the floor.
Kris Cruise: Here we go now! Fujiko finally sends Moss to the outside. Could she be setting up for a huge dive to the outside?
Fujiko circles the ring while clapping her hands to get the crowd hyped up. The crowd starts to take their cue from the Apex Goddess before she turns and takes off into the ropes. Fujiko picks up speed as she rushes across the ring. She motions for a dive out onto Moss before kicking her foot off the middle rope, twirling through the air and landing in a super hero pose. The Apex Goddess is met with cheers and applause from the crowd.
Stephy Auger: Tuh! Show off!
Fujiko gets back to her feet and motions for Moss to get back in. Moss cautiously climbs up to the apron before stepping back in through the ropes. Both grapplers proceed to circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Moss once again wins control with a side headlock. As Moss clamps down on the hold, the ref asks Fujiko if she wants to give up. When Fujiko refuses, Moss throws her down with a side headlock takedown. Fujiko quickly reverses into a grounded headscissors before Moss escapes with a kip up. Fujiko scrambles back to her feet before being thrown back down with another side headlock takedown. Fujiko grabs a hold of Moss and reverses into a bridge & roll counter.

Some good pinning counters there by Fujiko. But Moss is able to quickly roll back over and avoid the three count. Moss has got control of Fujiko and she’s got her down, as well.
Stephy Auger: If Moss were smart, she’d keep Fujiko down. But the key phrase is, “if Moss were smart” and we all know that Lowri is anything but.
Kris Cruise: What’s your problem with Lowri, anyway?
Stephy Auger: How much time do you have?
Fujiko refuses another chance to quit before slowly battling back to a vertical base. It doesn't take long for Moss to throw her back down with another side headlock takeover. Fujiko then quickly reverses into another grounded headscissors before Moss reverses with another kip up. After Fujiko scrambles back to a vertical base, Moss goes to throw her back down with another side headlock takeover. NO! This time, Fujiko blocks the takedown attempt and counters with Eriana's Vow (Lumbar Check)! Moss bounces off of Fujiko’s knees before rolling over towards the ropes.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko with a great counter there. It looks like those knees to the back did some damage.
Stephy Auger: Good! Now pounce on her!
The ref heads over to check on Moss. She motions to the ref that she’s okay before using the ropes to pull herself back up. Moss circles the ring while periodically touching her lower back. She then stops as she sizes Fujiko up. Moss and Fujiko head back over towards the center of the ring. They motion for another collar-and-elbow. But Moss opts out for a drop-step go-behind and takes control of Fujiko’s back with a rear waist lock. Moss then hoists Fujiko up before throwing her down to the mat with a waist lock takedown. Fujiko props herself up on all fours. She tries to spin out. But Moss is able to successfully keep Fujiko in front of her. After both grapplers return to their feet, Fujiko gets brought down with another high waist lock takedown. Fujiko gets herself up to a knee. She again tries to spin out. But Moss keeps her right in font of her. Once both grapplers are back to their feet, Fujiko reaches down and tries to pry Moss’ hands from around her. It’s to no avail, so Fujiko opts for a back elbow to the face. Fujiko catches Moss with another back elbow to the face before reversing into a wheelbarrow victory roll. Instead of keeping the victory roll held for the pin, Fujiko leaps up and delivers a jumping double foot stomp to the chest! The cheers continue as Fujiko hits the ropes. She comes back and goes for a standing Shooting Star Press. But Moss counters by getting her knees up in time! Fujiko bounces off the knees before turning over onto all fours. Moss rushes back to her feet, takes control of Fujiko’s arm and rolls her up with la magistral.

This time, Moss follows up with an armbar. The ref gets down and asks Fujiko if she wants to give up. Fujiko declines before turning over to a knee. After returning to her feet, she takes Moss and moves her into the near ropes before pushing her off into the far ropes. When Moss returns, Fujiko drops down to the prone position. Instead of hopping over Fujiko to continue running the ropes, Moss follows up with a double foot stomp across the back. The cheers continue as Moss quickly drops down to her knees and hooks both of Fujiko’s arms. Before Moss back flip over into the Severn Bridge (bridging double chickenwing), Fujiko breaks free of the double underhooks and quickly rolls over towards the ropes.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko nearly got caught there! If Moss locked in that Severn Bridge, this one might have been over early.
Stephy Auger: It’s a shame that it’s not.
Fujiko pulls herself up using the ropes before circling the ring. She then slowly inches over towards Moss before locking up. After jockeying for position, Moss places her in another side headlock. She then performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. Moss keeps the hammerlock applied before quickly transitioning into an inverted front facelock. The crowd gasps and cheers when they see Fujiko in position for the Nos Da (rolling cutter). Before Fujiko can be hit with the move, she quickly spins around and runs forward, ramming Moss, back-first into the corner. Fujiko keeps Moss pressed up against the corner while the ref heads over and gives her another five count.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Fujiko makes a clean break. She then steps back towards the center of the ring. Moss then makes her way out of the corner. Moss motions for another collar-and-elbow. At the last second, she opts to shoot in for a single leg takedown. But Fujiko is able to stuff the takedown attempt with a sprawl. Fujiko keeps Moss in place before she spins around and takes control of Moss’ back. Once Moss battles back to her feet, she returns the favor with a back elbow of her own. After a second back elbow breaks the hold, Moss takes off into the ropes. Fujiko goes to catch her off the rebound with a back body drop. But Moss slips down from behind. Moss motions for a German Suplex, but Fujiko blocks by hooking her right leg behind Moss’. She then catches Moss with another back elbow, performs a standing switch and goes to bring Moss down with Ecstasy (Reverse DDT into a Dragon sleeper with body scissors)! Moss gets brought down with the reverse DDT! But she’s able to slip out of the Dragon Sleeper before Fujiko can fully cinch down on the hold before rolling towards the ropes.
Kris Cruise: Now it’s Moss that barely escapes the early submission attempt.
Stephy Auger: I can count on one hand the amount of people that have escaped that hold, and I don’t even need to use all my fingers. When Fujiko locks on the Ecstasy, it’s usually over. I’ll give her that much.
Kris Cruise: You’re giving Fujiko credit?
Stephy Auger: Don’t make me do it again. Just saying that made me nauseous.
Moss uses the ropes to pull herself up. She then slowly makes her way towards the center of the ring. Both grapplers stare each other down before Fujiko motions for her to hit her.
Kris Cruise: What in the world?
Stephy Auger: You’ve gotta just shake your head at the arrogance of Fujiko Mine. She’s actually inviting a striker, the person that took home the Best Striker award last year, to hit her. You know that old phrase about having more guts than brains? Yeah, that applies here.
Moss obliges and nails Fujiko with a forearm strike. Fujiko eats the shot before catching Moss with a forearm of her own! Moss sizes up Fujiko before nailing her with another forearm strike. Fujiko eats the shot before catching Moss with a forearm of her own! Moss checks to see if she’s bleeding from the mouth. When she sees that she’s not, she nails Fujiko with another forearm strike! Fujiko tries to shake off the blow before getting caught with another forearm strike! The crowd starts to rally behind Moss as she nails Fujiko with another forearm! Fujiko goes to answer back with a forearm of her own when Moss cuts her off with a European Uppercut! Moss connects with a second European Uppercut! Fujiko then gets knocked back with a shoot kick! A second shoot kick knocks Fujiko further back! After Fujiko gets caught with a third shoot kick, Moss moves her into the corner before sending her slumping down with the Scarlet Barrage (Alternating rapid-fire knife edge chops and forearms to a cornered opponent)!!!
Stephy Auger: Gee, well THAT didn’t go according to plan, huh?
Kris Cruise: I mean, Fujiko does have those educated feet. She’s got great leg strength. But wanting to trade shots with Lowri Moss? I’m not sure that was the wisest move.
Moss reaches down, pulls Fujiko up and delivers an irish whip before following her across the ring. Instead of crashing into the turnbuckles, Fujiko runs up the turnbuckles, backflips off over Moss and lands on her feet. Fujiko then runs forward and connects with a font dropkick, sending Moss flying into the corner! Moss bounces off the turnbuckles before immediately rolling to the outside.
Kris Cruise: Just like that, Fujiko turns the tide.
While Moss takes a breather, Fujiko turns and takes off into the ropes. The Apex Goddess picks up speed as she runs back across the ring. Moss turns and does a double take as Fujiko titles over the top rope and knocks her down with a corkscrew plancha!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko just wiped out Moss on the outside!
Fujiko hops up onto the apron before backing up towards the ring post. The Apex Goddess crouches down and starts waving up Moss. Once Moss picks herself up off the floor and turns around, Fujiko stands up, runs along the apron and leaps off before bringing her down with a flying hurricanrana.
Kris Cruise: Moss gets brought back down! This split crowd is now firmly behind the Apex Goddess!
Fujiko slips back in before slipping back out to restart the count. Back on the outside, Moss is slowly pulling herself back up. As Moss turns around, Fujiko charges from out of the far corner and hurls herself over the top turnbuckle/ring post before knocking Moss down with a tope con giro! The crowd erupts with cheers.
Kris Cruise: The high risk pays off with that huge dive to the floor!
Stephy Auger: I told you, Cruise! I told you that Moss should have just kept Fujiko grounded. But no, why do that, right?
The Apex Goddess marches down ringside before setting up shop. She starts to wave Moss up as she impatiently waits for her opponent to get into position. Once Moss picks herself up and turns around, Fujiko charges down ringside before delivering a front dropkick, sending Moss flipping over the guardrail and into the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Good God, what a dropkick!
Stephy Auger: Now we’re talking!
Fujiko heads over, pulls Moss up and brings her back over the guardrail with a vertical suplex to the ringside area! The cheers continue as Moss gets rolled back inside before Fujiko rolls herself back in. She makes the cover.

Fujiko pulls Moss back to her feet and nails her with a forearm strike. Moss gets nailed with another forearm strike before Fujiko turns her away from her. Fujiko then pushes Moss from the back, sending her into the ropes. After Moss ricochets off the ropes, Fujiko leaps up onto her shoulders from behind. Before Fujiko can flip back and spike her with a poison rana, Moss pushes Fujiko off of her shoulders before catching her on the way down with a rear waistlock. Moss tries for a German Suplex, but Fujiko blocks by grabbing onto the bottom rope with both hands. She goes for another German. But again, Fujiko keeps her hands locked on the bottom rope. Moss then yanks back, ripping Fujiko off the bottom rope. Moss then takes a couple of steps back before delivering a release German Suplex. The crowd gasps when Fujiko rotates slightly before hitting her midsection across the edge of the announce booth.

Stephy Auger: I did and I’d love to hear it again! Can you guys cue up the replay?

Moss runs over to deliver Just For Kicks (running big boot to a cornered opponent followed by a running facewash)! At the last second, Fujiko’s able to get her hands up in time and catch Moss’ foot. After Moss gets shoved down to the mat, she rolls back to her feet before running back into the corner to attack. The crowd cheers when Fujiko counters with an overhead belly to belly suplex into the turnbuckles!
Kris Cruise: Moss just went flying into the corner with the suplex!
Stephy Auger: Just when it looked like Moss was starting to run away with this match. This is what happens when Moss doesn’t have Gareth out there to bail her out!
Moss remains down on the mat while Fujiko steps out to the apron. The Apex Goddess slowly makes her way up to the top turnbuckle. She then looks down at points at Moss before leaping off. The crowd cheers as Fujiko goes for another diving double foot stomp! This time, Moss slips out of the way. Fujiko lands on her feet before her momentum sends her rolling forward. She then rolls back to her feet, rushes back over and throws out a running big boot. NO! Moss reaches up and catches Fujiko’s foot in time. After swinging Fujiko’s leg away from her, Moss quickly takes control of Fujiko’s back before launching her into the corner with a release German Suplex!
Kris Cruise: Moss returns the favor by suplexing Fujiko into the turnbuckles!
Stephy Auger: Anything you can do, I can do better?
Fujiko remains seated in the corner as Moss runs back over and blasts her with another bicycle knee strike! Moss takes Fujiko by the ankle and drags her away from the corner. Fujiko hits Moss with another kick to the face before being lowered back down. Moss shakes off the blow. She motions to grab Fujiko until the Apex Goddess knocks her back with a handstand calf kick. Fujiko runs over to follow up with an attack. Moss tries to cut her off with another bicycle knee strike. But Fujiko’s able to slide underneath it. Moss turns around and rushes towards Fujiko until Fujiko connects with a front low dropkick, sending Moss across the middle rope. The crowd cheers as Fujiko hits the far ropes, comes back and knocks Moss back with a tiger feint kick. Fujiko then positions herself on the apron and waits patiently for Moss to get into position. Kris Cruise: Fujiko’s got her in an armbar!
Stephy Auger: But she doesn't have it fully applied!
Moss quickly locks her hands together to prevent Fujiko from fully applying the submission. The ref gets down and asks Moss if she wants to give up. Moss refuses. So Fujiko tries to yank back over and over to break Moss’ grip. But Moss continues to keep her hands locked together. Fujiko then takes her left leg, lifts it up and repeatedly swings it down hard across Moss’ face! Moss continues to get hit across the face with Fujiko’s leg until Moss’ grip is broken. As soon as Fujiko gets one foot on the top turnbuckle, Moss nails her with a left cross to the midsection. Fujiko gets caught with another left cross to the midsection. Kris Cruise: Severn Bridge!
Stephy Auger: Uh oh!
The crowd erupts with cheers when Moss applies her patented submission. But due to the arm work that Fujiko did early, Moss isn’t fully able to lock in the hold. Moss tries to pull her arms closer together so that she can lock her hands. But it’s to no avail.
Kris Cruise: Moss has Fujiko down. But she can get the Severn Bridge locked in nice and tight like she wants to!
Stephy Auger: Maybe she can possibly get a submission win, anyway. They’ve both taken some damage here tonight.
The ref asks Fujiko if she wants to give up. Fujiko refuses. Moss tries her best to hold onto the move. J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout… FUJIKO MINE!
The referee kneels down and raises Fujiko’s arm in victory. Both Fujiko and Lowri continue to lay on their backs from exhaustion.
Kris Cruise: What a matchup we just saw. Fujiko Mine and Lowri Moss just put on a fantastic match. There weren’t any cheap shots. No one used any illegal objects. No one grabbed anyone’s tights purposely and claimed it was an accident. Those two went out there and made art. This was billed as a Dream Match and dare I say that the two of them lived up to it.
Both Fujiko and Lowri start to stir on the match. Moss slowly sits back up while Fujiko turns over to a knee. It doesn’t take long for Moss to put two and two together. She looks over at Fujiko. Fujiko mouths “thank you” in Moss’ direction. Moss nods her head before extending her hand. Fujiko gladly shakes Moss’ hand.
