Lowri Moss vs. Sloan Talbot

Lowri wisely keeps her distance early from the much larger Talbot. Moss is able to catch Talbot with multiple shoot kicks to the leg. But she ends up going to the well one too many times, allowing Talbot to catch her foot. He then yanks Moss over towards him before knocking her down with a clothesline. Talbot then launches Moss into the corner before going to work with multiple shoulder thrusts, back elbows and knee strikes. Talbot then brings her out of the corner with a hip toss into a neckbreaker for a two count.

Talbot brings the action right back into the corner and applies a foot choke. The ref’s count reaches five, but Talbot refuses to break the hold. The ref admonishes Talbot. But he continues to ignore him. When the ref grabs him by the arm and tries to pull him off Lowri, Talbot gives him his undivided attention. He proceeds to stalk the ref around the ring until the official wisely rolls to the outside. Talbot runs back into the corner to attack, but Moss knocks him back with a boot to the face. She then hops out to the apron, scales to the top and leaps off for a diving crossbody. But Talbot catches her in mid air and counters with a backbreaker before chucking her across the ring with a fallaway slam. After Lowri pulls herself up using he ropes, Talbot charges over to attack. Talbot motions for a clothesline, but Moss low bridges the top rope, sending Talbot tumbling to the outside. Moss heads back to the top, flips off and knocks Talbot down with a moonsault to the outside! Moss brings him back inside and makes the cover, but she only gets a two count.

Moss moves Talbot against the ropes and hits him with a pair of European Uppercuts. Talbot responds with a European Uppercut of his own that knocks her down to the mat. He then rushes over and knocks Moss back down with a running big boot for a two count. Moss is then whipped into the ropes. When she returns, Talbot catches her by the throat. He lifts her up for a chokeslam, but Moss counters with a back elbow to the head on the way up. She then drops back down before hitting the ropes. Talbot tries to catch her off the rebound with another big boot, but Moss catches his foot and counters with a dragon screw leg whip. Moss then runs over and executes a tilt-a-whirl headscissors sending Talbot out to the apron. After Talbot pulls himself up using the ropes, Moss steps out to the apron behind him and brings him down across it with an Inverted DDT! Talbot gets pulled back inside for the cover. ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!

Talbot reverses an irish whip, sending Moss into the ropes. When she returns, she counters a back body drop attempt by slipping down behind Talbot. Moss then turns Talbot around and knocks him back with multiple shoot kicks to the chest before catching him with a roundhouse kick, sending him stumbling into the ropes. Moss then turns to hit the far ropes. She comes back and throws out a bicycle knee strike. But Talbot sidesteps, shoves Moss into the ropes and catches her off the rebound with a German Suplex for a two count. Talbot then hoists Moss up for another chokeslam. This time, Moss slips down from behind. She applies a rear waist lock to set up a German of her own. But she gets caught with a back elbow to the face, breaking the hold. Talbot then turns around and hoists Moss up with a one handed brainbuster. But Moss is able to knee him in the head on the way up. After being lowered back down, Moss catches him with a European Uppercut. A second European Uppercut finds its mark before Moss cracks him with a headbutt. Moss then takes a a couple steps back, then rushes forward and nails Talbot with a bicycle knee strike, knocking him into the corner. From there, Moss unleashes the Scarlet Barrage (Alternating rapid-fire knife edge chops and forearms to a cornered opponent)! She then takes Talbot and whips him across the ring before hitting him with Just For Kicks (Running big boot to a cornered opponent followed by a running Facewash)! While Talbot is down in the corner, Moss hits him with another bicycle knee strike for good measure. She then pulls Talbot back up and brings him back to the center of the ring before dropping him with the Nos Da (Rolling cutter) for the ONE! TWO! THREE!

POST-MATCH

Lowri’s hand is raised in victory, and a grin spreads across her face. She has a little bit of a celebration, but something catches her eye and she shifts into a state of confusion. She tilts her head to the side, and the camera swivels to see that on the guardrail, perched and applauding, is the Apex Goddess. She nods and smiles as she continues to applaud Lowri, and then does a little ‘hop’ to get herself off the rail.

A slow gait moves Fujiko over to the timekeepers area, where she retrieves a microphone. She gently bounces the head of the microphone off her shoulder as she moves around to the steps.

Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine?! What’s she doing here?

Stephy Auger: Yeah, concessions are not even close to ringside!

Fujiko ignores the commentary and continues up to the apron, and then stops a few steps away from Lowri. She leans against the ropes and smiles.

Fujiko Mine: Lowri, well done. Not a doubt in mind that you’d get a victory tonight, like there wasn’t one in my mind when I defeated Savannah Taylor last week. But as I was walking the halls of the Melrose Ballroom tonight, I thought…

She smirks.

Fujiko Mine: There is a match that these fans should be given that will really entertain. Because they are being treated with a title unification match…

The crowd boos resoundingly, which actually brings a coy smile to her face. She lets the boos reign around them.

Fujiko Mine: But they should be treated with something… more.

Her smirk grows as she trains her gaze on Lowri Moss.

Fujiko Mine: A match between two of the absolute best in FGA wrestling, one on one. Two wrestlers with honor, trying to see who can emerge with a victory. Two wrestlers who are looking to regain what is destined to them.

Fujiko, maintaining eye contact for as long as possible, steps through the ropes and gets close to Lowri Moss.

Fujiko Mine: I want to get back to the top of the mountain. You want to get there in FGA. This match doesn’t have to happen down the line. It can happen…

Fujiko points to the screen, with the logo for A New Odyssey logo fading up. The crowd cheers wildly at the anticipation of the match.

Fujiko Mine: We won’t pull punches, but we’ll do it right. You and me. One on one. To either prove that I’ve still got it…

She leans back a little to settle herself.

Fujiko Mine: Or to prove you’ve really got next.

Lowri makes her way over towards the corner of the ring and asks J.A. Aldridge for a microphone, which she soon receives. She then turns back to face Fujiko.

Lowri Moss: Firstly, Fujiko, I don’t think there was ever any doubt as to whether or not you’ve “still got it,” even before your performance against Savannah at the last show.

She pauses to take a breath, still a little fatigued from the exertion of her match.

Lowri Moss: A match between you and me though, huh? At the first pay-per-view event of the year?

Lowri rubs her chin, as if she is taking a moment to consider Fujiko’s suggestion, when in truth she has already made up her mind.

Lowri Moss: I don’t know, I… I’m not sure.

She turns to look towards the crowd.

Lowri Moss: What do you guys think?

To the surprise of no one, the fans cheer enthusiastically; Lowri looks back to Fujiko.

Lowri Moss: Well, it sounds like they all want it. Obviously you want it. And you know what, Fujiko? I want it too, so… let’s do it!

Fujiko Mine: Well, after the showing you’ve had of late… I will certainly have my work cut out for me. But I am looking forward to this like you wouldn’t believe.

Fujiko extends her hand, and Lowri accepts the shake. Fujiko raises Lowri’s arm once more, before slowly backing away and allowing Lowri to resume her celebration.

Stephy Auger: Great, so now we’re getting these two butt kissing LOSERS in a match? The only great thing about that is one of them has to lose AGAIN!

Kris Cruise: I for one, am very much looking forward to this! Fujiko Mine vs. Lowri Moss at Only The Strong Survive! An absolute dream match!

Stephy Auger: More like a nightmare match!

TJ Techniques & Cassius Reed vs. Silk & Cyanide

Sara Mason looks to start things off for Silk & Cyanide. In the opposite corner, TJ Techniques looks to start things off for his team. He motions towards the center of the ring until Cassius Reed slaps his back to tag himself in. TJ lets him know that he was just about ready to lock up. But Reed thumbs behind him towards their corner. He reassures The Funky Technician that he’s got this. TJ puts his hands up and gestures towards the center of the ring. With Techniques now out on the apron, The Funky Dragon circles the ring. He’s about to lock up with Mason until she cheap shots him with a cross chop to the throat. She grabs Reed by his afro and pulls his head back up before nailing him with another cross chop to the throat. Reed staggers across the ring while Mason is right behind him. She spins Cassius around and cracks him with a headbutt, sending him stumbling back towards a corner. Mason then pushes forward and moves Reed into the corner before nailing him with a series of palm strikes to the chest, followed by an elbow to the face. Reed then answers back with a knee strike to the midsection before slamming her face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then turns Mason around in the corner before raking her eyes. Both TJ and the ref warn Reed about using the eye rake. The Funky Dragon is quick to tell them to hush. He then turns his attention back to Mason before getting caught with another headbutt. He’s then pushed back into the corner before being caught with more palm strikes to the chest. Mason catches him with a back elbow to the face before Reed knocks her down with the Spanish Archer (Bionic Elbow)! Mason gets back to her feet before getting dropped with a second Spanish Archer. Reed then sets up for an irish whip when Mason reverses. Mason catches him off the rebound with an inverted atomic drop, doubling him over. She then bring Reed down with the Aenigma (Mason rolls up the opponent into a kneeling position with a schoolboy, where she grabs their head and slams it into the mat) for a two count.

Mason makes the tag out to Mariani. Silk & Cyanide then take Reed and deliver a double arm wringer followed by stereo palm thrusts to the chest. Mariani makes the cover, but she only gets a two count. After Mason drapes her leg across the top rope, Mariani takes Reed, runs over into the corner and slams him face-first against the sole of Mason’s boot. Mason gets tagged back in before Silk & Cyanide send him slumping down in the corner with mudhole stomps. Mason heads back towards the center of the ring. She glances over at TJ before turning and running back into their corner. As Mason approaches, Mariani hip tosses Mariani, sending her flying into Reed with a cannonball senton. Mariani steps out to the apron and receives a tag. Mason then takes Reed and drags him towards the center of the ring before Silk & Cyanide deliver Bad Things (Mason wishbones the opponents legs as Mariani hits a double stomp to the opponent's "midsection") Mariani makes the cover. ONE! TWO! NO! TJ makes the save.

As Techniques goes to head back into his corner, Mariani darts over and knocks him down from behind with a running elbow tackle. She then stomps him out of the ring before turning her attention back to Reed. She grabs The Funky Dragon and pulls him back to his feet before delivering an arm trap swinging neckbreaker. Reed sits up while Mariani hits the ropes. She then comes back and nails Reed with a running hip attack to the back of the head for a two count. Reed is then whipped into the corner. Mariani runs over, hops on top of him and throws him out of the corner with a monkey flip! No! Reed’s able to land on his feet before quickly hitting the ropes. Mariani scrambles back to her feet before getting sent through the ropes and to the floor with a running huracanrana!

Reed gets back to his feet and takes off into the ropes again. As he returns, Mason runs over on the apron, stops halfway and tries to catch Reed with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But Reed’s able to flip over her and the top rope before taking Mariani down with a diving somersault huracanrana! Mason then flies off the apron before tackling him down with a Lou Thesz Press. Mason follows up with multiple headbutts. She then gets back to her feet, turns to the ring and does a double take as Techniques leaps over the top rope and knocks her down with a diving topé con hilo! Reed then takes Mariani and rolls her back inside before getting back in with a slingshot left elbow drop for a two count.

Mariani gets sent for the ride before setting knocked down with a spinning back left elbow. The Funky Dragon hits the ropes, comes back and connects with a running leg drop for a two count. A standard leg drop gets another two count. Mariani gets thrown down with a scoop slam before Reed follows up with handstand leg drop for another two count. Techniques reaches out and calls for a tag. But Reed puts his hands out and lets him know that he’s got this. There’s an annoyed look on Techniques’ face while Reed remains in the ring. The Funky Dragon then takes Mariani and brings her down with a snap suplex. He then rolls over, pulls Mariani back up and hits a bridging Northern Lights Suplex. He then floats over, pulls Mariani back up and takes control of the back before bringing her down with a belly to back suplex. Reed returns to a vertical base before crushing her with Funky Knee, Funky Do (kneecolepsy)! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!

Reed takes Mariani and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle before doubling her over with multiple shoulder thrusts. He then sets up for a Tornado DDT when Mason runs across the apron and wraps her arms around his left leg. Reed then lets go of Mariani to try and knock Mason off of him. Mason gets caught with multiple jabs until a push sends her off the apron. Reed turns his attention back to Mariani as she runs into the corner, leaps up and brings him down off the middle ropes with a hurricanrana. NO! Reed again lands on his feet. The Funky Dragon does the Ali Shuffle before taking off into the ropes. Reed comes back off the rebound. Mariani tries to cut him off with a running elbow tackle. But Reed ducks and continues to run the ropes. When he turns, Mariani sends him flipping down to the mat with a kitchen sink. Reed is then pulled back up before being driven face-first onto the mat with a half nelson facebuster. Mariani spins in place on Reed’s back and places him in a font facebook with knees to the head. She then drags Reed back towards her corner and allows Mason to tag herself in across her back.

Mariani pulls Reed back up and turns to face the Silk & Cyanide corner before she and Mason deliver The Pleasure Principle (Mariani holds the opponent in a front facelock as Mason comes off the top rope to rake the opponent's back)! Reed is then brought down with the Falling Idol (hangman's neckbreaker to a kneeling opponent)! ONE! TWO! Reed gets the shoulder up. Reed gets pulled back up by his fro before being doubled over with the Lyssa (side kick to an opponent's midsection). Reed gets caught with a kick to the gut followed by a knee lift to the face followed by a dropkick to the knee. Mason grabs a hold of Reed and brings him down with a jumping front facelock into double knee chestbreaker. Reed remains in the prone position as Mason steps out to the apron. She scales to the top, leaps off and connects with a flying elbow drop across the back. She pushes Reed over and makes the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Reed gets his shoulder up.

Mason takes Reed and whips him towards the ropes, where Mariani knees in in the back. Reed staggers over towards Mason before getting doubled over with another inverted atomic drop. A knee lift knocks him upright before he gets caught with the Salem Slap (palm strike to the face)! Reed slowly turns back to Mason before getting caught with another Salem Slap! Mason motion for a third when she gets cut off with the Pimp Slap Symposium (Quick Right Handed slap to opponent’s face to get opponent to drop their guard, into a quick Right Jab - Right Jab - Left Hook Boxing Combo, dazing the opponent, and ending with a Michael Jackson style spin straight into a (Left Handed) Spinning Backhand Slap to opponent’s face WITH AUTHORITY)! Reed then doubles her over with a boot to the midsection before planting her with a Snap DDT!

TJ can be seen waving Reed over for the tag. But Reed remains on his back. A couple seconds past before he starts to stir. The Funky Dragon then turns over and slowly starts to drag himself over towards his corner. Meanwhile, Mariani gets in the ring, grabs Mason by the ankle and drags her over towards the Silk & Cyanide corner! After hopping back out to the apron through the ropes, Mariani reaches back in through the ropes to tag herself in. Mariani then hops back in through the ropes and dives over to grab onto Reed’s legs. But Reed rolls out of the way to the side. He then rolls forward, dives over and tags Techniques in! TJ springboards to the top before knocking Mariani down with a diving tornillo. TJ takes Mariani and sets up for an irish whip. Mariani reverses and follows him into the corner. Instead of crashing into the corner, Techniques executes a Tiger Wall Flip over Mariani before catching her when she turns around with a Koppu Kick in the corner. TJ then runs into the Silk & Cyanide corner before and ducks a clothesline from Mason before knocking her off the apron with a triangle shoulder block! Techniques rolls back inside, runs over and blasts Mariani with the Buck 50 (running face wash in the corner)! TJ then takes Mariani and whips her into the far ropes before catching her off the rebound with a Shaolin Sidekick (Harlem Sidekick)! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!

Techniques takes Mariani and whips her into the corner before running over and hitting a step-up high knee. He then tosses Mariani out of the corner before stepping out to the apron to knock her down with a springboard crossbody! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Techniques takes Mariani, wrenches the arm and doubles her over with four kicks to the midsection before knocking her down with a Scissors Kick. He then returns to his feet with a Spianroonie before delivering a snap leg drop across the back of her neck for another two count.

TJ takes Mariani and whips her into the corner. He rushes in to attack when Mariani counters with a back elbow before following up with the Morning Spider Despair (headscissors driver into the turnbuckles)! She then tosses Techniques out to the apron before dragging him into position across the middle rope. Mariani keeps Techniques held in place while Mason climbs the turnbuckles. Silk & Cyanide look for The Infernal Council (combination rope-hung DDT from Mariani and diving splash to the opponent's back from Mason)! But Reed climbs up onto the apron and pushes Mason off, sending her falling hard to the floor! Mariani then lets go of Reed, runs over and throws out an elbow smash, knocking Reed off the apron. She then turns back and heads over to Techniques. After pulling TJ back to is feet, he doubles her over with a boot to the midsection before bringing her down with a Moonwalk DDT. Techniques returns to his feet with a kip up and pulls Mariani back to a vertical base before turning her inside out with Let The Rhythm Hit 'Em (Phenomenal Blitz)! Techniques drags Mariani into position before stepping out to the apron. He scales to the top, flips off and lands across her back with Know The Ledge (Shooting Star Press)! Techniques pulls over over, makes the cover, ONE! TWO! THREE!

PRIDE RULES MATCH
Ace Voltage vs. Max Powers

The match starts off with Ace Voltage offering a handshake. Max Powers understands that Pride Rules are in play. But he’s still suspicious of Voltage willingly calling for a handshake. So he slowly reaches out… and shakes Voltage’s hands. Everyone in the crowd is shocked that Voltage shakes his hand and lets go with no strings attached. No low blow, no cheap shot, nothing. Voltage and Powers then circle the ring before locking up. Powers is able to gain the advantage with a side headlock. But he doesn't maintain position for long as Voltage slips out and reverses into a hammerlock. Powers then spins out and reverses into a hammerlock of his own before Voltage brings him down with a jumping snapmare.

Powers scrambles back to his feet before Voltage runs over and knocks him down with a shoulder block. After Powers return to his feet with a kip up, Voltage takes off into another set of ropes. The former Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion returns and knocks Powers down with another running shoulder block. A few seconds pass before Powers returns to his feet wit another kip up. Voltage then turns and hits another set of ropes. Powers leapfrogs over him after he rebounds off the ropes. Once Voltage runs the ropes again, Powers goes for a hip toss. But Voltage is able to step through it and counter with a hip toss of his own. Voltage follows up with two arm drags before transitioning into an armbar. Powers waves off the chance to quit before getting back to his feet. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench. Voltage then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, spins in place and reverses into a hammerlock. He then spins Powers towards him before bringing him down with a side headlock takeover. Powers reverses into a grounded headscissors before Voltage returns to his feet with a kip up. Powers scrambles back to a vertical base before sent back to the mat with another side headlock takeover. Powers reverses into another grounded headscissors before Voltage escapes with a kip up. Powers gets back to his feet before getting thrown back down with a third side headlock takeover. Powers takes Voltage and counters with a bridge and roll into a pin. ONE! TWO! Voltage rolls back up and pulls Powers back to his feet while keeping the side headlock applied. Voltage then muscles Powers back down with another side headlock takeover. Powers remains in the defensive position before reversing into another grounded headscissors. Voltage goes to escape with a kip up, but Powers blocks it. Voltage tries another kip up, but it’s to no avail. Voltage then turns over onto his knees and slowly pries Powers’ legs from around him before getting back to his feet. He then tries to turn Powers over into a Sharpshooter, but Powers squirms his way to the side of the ring and grabs the ropes. He forces a rope break, but by doing so, he uses up one of his three rope breaks.

Powers gets back to his feet and circles the ring before locking back up with Voltage. The former Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion muscles him into the corner. Both grapplers make a break break Voltage throws out a knife edge chop. Powers ducks and catches Voltage with multiple chops of his own. He then sets up for an irish whip, but Voltage reverses. Voltage then rushes across the ring to throw out Thunderstruck (Helluva Kick)! At the last second, Powers reaches up and catches his foot. He then shoves Voltage down to the mat. As Voltage rolls back to his feet, Powers rushes out of the corner to attack. He leaps up and goes for the Thwomp (diving double knee drop to a standing opponent)! But Voltage is able to catch him and counter into a powerslam for a two count. Voltage pulls Powers back up before knocking him through the ropes and to the floor with a standing dropkick. He then heads over and tries to bring Powers back inside with a vertical suplex. But Powers is able to slip down and reverse into an O’Connor Roll for a two count.

Powers goes for an irish whip, but Voltage reverses. When Powers returns, he brings Voltage down with a running hurricanrana. Powers runs back over to attack. Voltage tries to cut him off with a clothesline, but Powers ducks and counters with a crucifix for another two count. Powers takes Voltage and whips him into the ropes before catching him off the rebound with a spinning heel kick for another two count. He then pulls Voltage back to his feet, takes a hold of his wrist and throws out the Chain Chomp (Arm wrench into a short-arm forearm smash), but Voltage ducks and counters with a Samoan Drop. He then drags Powers into place before stepping out to the apron. Voltage scales to the top, flips off for High Voltage (450 Splash from the top rope) and misses when Powers rolls out of the way. Voltage slowly pushes himself up on all fours before Powers rolls him up in La Magistral. ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!

Powers takes Voltage and sends him for the ride. When Voltage returns, Powers tackles him down with a Lou Thesz Press. He motions to deliver the hammer fists, but he stops himself when he realizes closed fists aren’t allowed in Pride Rules matches. This allows Voltage to roll over on top of him and smash him with a forearm strike. He then pulls Powers up and lifts him up for a vertical suplex. On the way up, Powers counters with a knee to the head. He’s then lowered back down before he hops on Voltage’s shoulders, spins, flips back and spikes him with a reverse hurricanrana! Voltage rolls over onto his knees before Powers knocks him down with a front dropkick to the face for a two count.

Powers steps out to the apron and scales to the turnbuckles. Once Voltage gets back to his feet, Powers leaps off and knocks him down with a missile dropkick! ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Voltage is then whipped into the ropes. When he returns, Powers knocks him down with a spinning reverse high kick before following up with a standing moonsault. ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!

Powers takes Voltage and whips him hard into the corner. Voltage starts to stagger away from the corner until Powers runs over and connects with a front dropkick, sending Voltage flying back into the corner. Voltage bounces out of the corner and drops down to all fours before Powers heads into the corner. He scales to the top turnbuckle, flips down and flattens Voltage with Starman Special (Imploding 450 Splash) across the back! He rolls him over and makes the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Voltage gets his foot on the bottom rope. The action breaks the pin, but it also takes away one of Voltage’s three rope breaks.

Powers takes Voltage and throws out another Chain Chomp. Once again, Voltage ducks the blow. This time, he takes control of Power’s back. He tries for a German Suplex, but Powers counters into a wheelbarrow victory roll. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! KICKOUT! Both grapplers scramble back to their feet. Powers rushes in to attack, but Voltage counters and brings him down into The London Special (Yes Lock)! Powers tries to pull Voltage’s hands from around his face, but it’s to no avail. He then tries to drag himself towards the ropes, but Voltage has him locked in place. The ref continues to ask him if he wants to give up. Powers tries his hardest to hang on. But as Voltage starts to pull back, the pain becomes too much to bear. So Powers taps, scoring Voltage the first fall.

Once the mandatory 30 second rest period ends, the bell sounds to signal the start of the second fall. Voltage wastes little time as he runs over and turns Powers inside out with a running lariat. He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! Voltage brings Powers down with a vertical suplex for a two count. A butterfly suplex gets a two count. He then doubles Powers over with multiple punches to the midsection before bringing him down with a running neckbreaker for another two count. Voltage then hoists Powers up for a brainbuster, but Powers slips down from behind, spins Voltage around and knocks him down with a Koopa Kick (rolling koppu kick)! Powers takes Voltage, delivers an irish whip before following him into the corner and hitting another Koopa Kick. After Voltage crumbles out of the corner, Powers scales to the top turnbuckle before going for another Starman Special. Voltage rolls out of the way, but Powers lands on his feet before flipping back for a standing moonsault! ONE! TWO! THR-NO! KICKOUT!

Powers picks up Voltage and finally catches him with a Chain Chomp. A second Chain Chomp connects! Powers fires off three more Chain Chomps! He then doubles Voltage over with a boot to the midsection before planting him with It’s-A-Me-DT (Snap DDT)! ONE! TWO! THR-NO! KICKOUT!

Voltage reverses an irish whip, sending Powers into the corner. He then rushes in to attack before getting knocked back with a boot to the face. Powers hops out to the apron, scales to the top, leaps off and drives him down with the Thwomp! ONE! TWO! THR-NO! KICKOUT! Powers then sends Voltage into the ropes. He sets up for a back body drop. But he telegraphs it, allowing Voltage to stop and counter with a Cradle DDT! ONE! TWO! THR-NO! KICKOUT!

Voltage takes Powers, executes an irish whip, follows him across the ring and connects with a clothesline. Voltage goes to follow up with a running bulldog when Powers shoves him off, sending him into the corner. Powers runs over, connects with a running clothesline and tries to follow up with a running bulldog of his own, but Voltage counters into a spinning sitout powerbomb! ONE! TWO! THR-NO! KICKOUT!

Voltage takes Powers and goes for three rolling German Suplexes! On the last German, Powers is able to rotate in the air and land on his feet. He runs over to attack Voltage when he gets countered with a running dive to the knee, sending him tumbling to the mat! Voltage then hits the ropes and return before flattening him with the Ace of Spades (Shining Wizard)! Powers is then whipped into the corner before Voltage charges over and nearly takes his head off with Thunderstruck! Voltage drops down for the cover and gets the ONE! TWO! THREE!

EARLIER TONIGHT

Backstage, the International Heavyweight Champion is seen walking through the halls; her duffel bag slung over her shoulder and a hoodie on as if she’s getting ready to leave the building. Her attention is on her phone, something on the screen has her all smiles.

Spencer Burke: Cordelia…

She slows her stride as she turns around. Spencer Burke approaches her cautiously, but is put at ease when Cordelia flashes a smile at him.

Cordelia Stevenson: Aye, wassup Spency?

Spencer looks at her quizzically. Her greeting towards him is one he’s grown to expect over the years. He lets out a relieved breath.

Spencer Burke: May I have a word?

Cordelia Stevenson: Can’t you always?

Her response causes him to smile.

Spencer Burke: Cordelia, rumor has it that you are refusing to compete tonight in your highly anticipated match against Izzy Anders.

Cordy looks down at her lack of ring attire and then shrugs.

Cordelia Stevenson: Well, look at that. A wrestling rumor that actually holds some weight. We really must be in the end of days huh?

She smirks.

Cordelia Stevenson: That’s no rumor, Spencer. That’s 100% true. And you don’t have to tell me how highly anticipated this match is, because it’s something I’ve been anticipating for years. Even when I was retired, I’d be lying if I said that it didn’t cross my mind every once in a blue moon; having one more crack at Izzy after everything that transpired and the way she unceremoniously ended my first ever World title reign.

She lets out a sigh.

Cordelia Stevenson: Believe me, Spency… no one has wanted it more than me.

Spencer’s face shows clear confusion.

Spencer Burke: Yet, here you are ready to walk out on it.

Cordelia nods.

Cordelia Stevenson: Correct you are, Spency, and that’s because I have dignity and I’m not going to sit around here and continue to be taken advantage of and unappreciated. The fact of the matter is, these people have become spoiled. I’ve given them classic after classic after classic and they’ve grown so accustomed to it, that now… they take me for granted. For the past, how long? Seven or so years? I’ve been theirs exclusively. When you think of FGA, my name is automatically one of the first ones you’ll associate with it, along with others like Chandler Scott. Jimmy Page. Fujiko Mine and a host of others. But even they felt the need to tread the waters elsewhere. Chandler? He was off in San Diego. Jimmy? Well he became a favorite in the school of Hard Knox, and Fuji? She was developing and finding herself in LAW. But me? I was FGA’s own. Do you know how many contracts and offers I’ve turned down from other companies over the years? Companies ready and willing to throw money at one of the most dynamic talents and personalities this business has ever seen, but I turned them all away… and why?

She scoffs.

Cordelia Stevenson: Because I felt a sense of loyalty to the FGA faithful. I was the Lioness of the Frontier. I didn’t want to be anywhere else. And aside from the occasional guest appearance here or there, I wasn’t anywhere else. FGA was my home and I gave my everything for those same people that have the nerve to turn their noses up at me for things they don’t even understand; who refuse to acknowledge the hard work and effort I put in continuously. And why is that? Because it’s my norm. It’s just what they’re used to. Everything I’ve done, has been for this company and its fans. It’s amazing just how quickly and easily it’s all forgotten.

She places her hands on her hips now and shifts her weight from one foot to the next.

Cordelia Stevenson: So no, I will not be competing tonight. I know Izzypop was probably looking forward to this match just as much as I was and maybe we’ll get the chance to do it another time. But these fans don’t deserve to see Cordelia Stevenson in action. Not until they learn a bit of appreciation. So I’ll tell you what I am about to do though. I’m about to head out, grab a bite to eat with a special someone and then get home in time to settle in and watch the main event from the comforts of my own bed. I’d stick around but…

She motions with her hand.

Cordelia Stevenson: I’m not quite feeling the energy around here.

For a moment, Spencer Burke is silent. What can he really say in response to that? Instead he opts to move forward with his next question.

Spencer Burke: Cordelia, you mentioned Chandler Scott, who just so happened to kick off the show with his major announcement in regards to Past Vs Present…

His voice trails off. Cordelia just looks at him, waiting for him to continue.

Spencer Burke: You don’t have anything to say in regards to it?

Cordy shakes her head.

Cordelia Stevenson: Actually I missed it. And people seem to want to treat me like a leper around here today and not say anything to me, so I was just going to catch it on the replay, but what did he say?

Spencer clears his throat.

Spencer Burke: Well, Chandler pretty much said that he’s got one final match left in him, and he’d like for that match… to be against you.

Cordy’s eyes widen a bit, and it’s clear to see that Spencer’s words have come as a surprise to her. She grows quiet as she processes what Spencer has just said to her. Suddenly she bursts out laughing.

Cordelia Stevenson: Ohhhhh myyyyy God. The ‘Pick-Me’s’ are going to be absolutely SICK about that one. You hear me?! Everybody out here campaigning for a match with that man and he just outright told them, ‘if your name ain’t Cordy, then nah.’

She wipes a tear from her eye and finally she takes a deep breath and gets herself together.

Cordelia Stevenson: I don’t blame him though. If you want to go out, then you want to go out against the absolute best. Chandler knows who that is. The same way I knew who it was when I felt it was my time to go.

She runs a hand through her hair.

Cordelia Stevenson: Hmm… that’s quite interesting though. Definitely something to think about.

Spencer raises an eyebrow.

Spencer Burke: Something to think about? Chandler Scott, a man who you have an incredible history with, is asking you to return the same favor that you asked of him… he wants his final match to be with you, Cordelia. What is there to think about?

Her response comes without much hesitation at all.

Cordelia Stevenson: Whether or not these people deserve it.

Spencer simply looks at her in disbelief. Cordelia offers him one final shrug before turning and continuing on down the corridor.

MAIN EVENT
NON-TITLE MATCH
(c) Seth Iser vs. Evan Envi

Iser and Envi start things off with a test of strength with a Greco Roman knuckle lock. Iser wins the battle as he’s able to bring Envi towards the mat. Envi ends up bridging back and balancing on his head to stop himself from behind flattened against the mat. He then slowly rises back to a vertical base, doubles Iser over with a boot to the gut and brings him down with a release Northern Lights Suplex. Iser’s then whipped into the ropes before getting knocked off his feet with a running dropkick. Envi charges over and catches Iser when he gets back to his feet with a running European Uppercut, sending the World Champion stumbling back. Envi hits another set of ropes and catches Iser on the return with another running shoulder block. Iser stumbles back, but he remains standing. Iser tries to shake off the blows as Envi hits the ropes. The Chief picks up speed off the rebound before tackling Iser down with a crossbody block for a two count.

Envi brings the action into the corner by slamming Iser’s face into the top turnbuckle. He then turns around and lights Iser up with rapid, alternating European Uppercuts and knife edge chops. The crowd WOOOOs after each strike. The World Champ is then sent into the far corner with an irish whip. The Chief runs across the ring to attack when Iser cuts him off with a back elbow to the face. Envi is then tossed into the corner before Iser doubled him over with a hard right handed punch to the gut. He then takes a few steps back before moving forward and knocking Envi upright with a Wrestling II Knee Lift. Envi remains dazed as Iser goes to town with elbows and knee to the head and body. He then returns the favor with a European Uppercut of his own before launching Envi out of the corner. Iser bounces against the ropes and heads back over for a jumping knee drop. But Envi rolls out of the way, causing Iser to connect with nothing but canvas. Envi returns to his feet and is quick to grab Iser’s leg. He tries to go for a figure four leglock. But Iser uses his free leg to push him off mid turn, sending Envi through the ropes and to the apron. Iser gets up and goes to attack Envi when the Chief doubles him over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then grabs a hold of Iser and goes to bring him to the floor with a suplex off the apron! But Iser slips down from behind, lands safely on his feet and grabs Envi by the ankles before snatching him off the apron. Gasps are heard when Envi smacks his face hard against the apron on the way down! Iser then takes a hold of Envi and runs forward before slamming him face-first into the ring post. A dazed Envi twirls off the impact and staggers around ringside before flopping to the floor.

Iser continues his assault as he pulls Envi back to his feet before dropping him throat-first across the guardrail with a Stun Gun! Envi lays sprawled out on the floor while the World Champion rolls back inside. He insists that the ref keeps counting.

TEN-NO!

Envi rolls back inside at the last second! Frustrated, Iser heads over and stomps away on Envi before bringing him back to his feet. Envi is then whipped into the far ropes before being thrown down with the Pillar of Truth (Bossman Slam) for a two count! Envi is then brought back down with a scoop slam before Iser connects with his second attempt at the jumping knee drop. He makes the cover, but he only gets a two count. Envi is then whipped hard into the corner. The Chief staggers away from the corner before Iser scoops him up from the side and brings him down with a pendulum backbreaker for another two count. Envi is whipped back into the ropes. When he returns, he wisely slides through Iser’s leg. Iser then turns around and gets caught with a step-up enzuigiri! The World Champ is dazed as Envi returns to his feet and snaps his head back with a superkick! Four kicks to the gut doubles him over before a kick to the face knocks him upright! Envi then connects with a roundhouse kick before knocking him back with a standing dropkick! The Chief the turns and hits the ropes. He comes back and hurls himself at Iser with a Lou Thesz Press. But Iser catches him in mid air and locks him in a bear hug!

Envi cries out in pain while Iser keeps the hold nice and tight. The ref asks him if he wants to give up, but Envi refuses. The Chief declines two more chances to quit before Iser starts to squeeze even tighter. Iser then starts to shake Envi from side to side, generating even more pain to the ribs and spine. Envi tries to hang on. But he starts to quickly fade. Moments pass before the ref realizes that Envi isn’t responding to him. So he raises Envi’s arm once; it falls. Envi’s arm gets raised a second time. It falls again. The official raises Envi’s arm a third time before letting go. The arm starts to fall, then stops! Iser’s eyes widen with shock. Envi then nails Iser with a bell clap to the ears, breaking the hold. Now free, Envi turns and takes off into the ropes. When he returns, Iser counters with a releases belly to belly suplex! Iser heads over and gets the cover for the ONE! TWO! THREE!

NO! Envi gets his foot on the bottom rope in time. Iser then takes Envi and sits him down on the top turnbuckle. The World Champ climbs up to the middle ropes and tries for a superplex, but Envi hangs onto the ropes. Iser then tries to muscle him up for another attempt at a superplex. Again, Envi blocks the move. Iser then lets go and throws out a hard right handed punch. Envi blocks and counters with a forearm strike. Iser gets another punch blocked before getting rocked with another forearm strike. Envi then starts to whack away at Iser with knife edge chops to the face and neck before shoving him down to the mat. Iser gets back to his feet before Envi leaps off and knocks him down with a diving European Uppercut! He goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Iser gets the shoulder up.

Envi steps back out to the apron before scaling to the top. Iser returns to a vertical base before Envi leaps off and knocks him down with a flying senton bomb! He goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Iser gets the shoulder up.

Envi picks up Iser and tries for a vertical suplex. Iser blocks and punches Envi in the ribs. He then hits Envi with three clubbing strikes across the back before pulling him into a font facelock. Iser twirls his finger to signal the Deprivation DDT (Jake Roberts-style DDT)! Before Iser can falls back and plant Envi, the Chief grabs him wrist, spins out of the front facelock and pulls him into a knee to the midsection. Iser remains doubled over until Envi hooks his arms and plants him with The Blues (Snap Double Arm DDT) for the ONE! TWO! THREE!

NO! Iser gets his shoulder up at 2.99!

Envi moves Iser into the corner and climbs up to the middle ropes. He then scans the crowd before raining down right hands to the World Champion. The crowd counts along…

Envi hops down, takes Iser and whips him hard into the far corner. Iser staggers back towards the center of the ring before Envi brings him down with a back body drop! Seth starts to slowly pick himself up as Envi runs the ropes. When Iser turns around, Envi knocks him off his feet with the Kapowski Kick (Quick, standing spinning heel kick)! The Chief goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THREE!

NO!

Iser gets his shoulder up in the nick of time!

Envi places his hands on his head in shock. A few moments pass before the Chief snaps out of it. He then makes his way out to the apron. Iser remains down on the mat while Envi lines himself up in position. He then grabs the top rope with both hands before he leaps across the ring and hits Helter Skelter (Long-range Springboard 450)! NO! Iser blocks by getting his knees up. Envi bounces off the knees and curls up on the mat. The Chief continues to guard his midsection as he struggles to get himself back to his feet. Envi ultimately returns to a vertical base, but he remains doubled over as he continues to favor his midsection. He then turns around before Iser quickly pulls him into a font facelock before planting him with the Deprivation DDT! Iser turns over, makes the cover and gets the ONE! TWO! THREE!

Winner: Seth Iser (23:06)

POST-MATCH

Iser gets his arm raised in victory. The crowd continues to boo Iser before their attention turns to the entrance way. Out form the back walks John Carmichael. The Former Johnny Karma has a mic in one hand and a steel chair in the other. He the stuffs the mic into his back pocket before folding open the chair and sitting it down. He then takes the mic from out of his pocket, sits down and keeps his focus locked on the ring.

Iser exits the ring with his World Championship. The crowd begins to buzz with anticipation as Iser makes his way up the ramp and gets closer and closer to Carmichael. Iser walks right in front of Carmichael, but Carmichael doesn't acknowledge his existence and continues to stare forward. Iser then moves off to the side and eyes Carmichael up and down. Once again, Carmichael doesn't acknowledge Iser at all. Instead, he continues to stay locked on Envi. The Chief is seen starting to stir as he comes to. Back on the ramp, Iser looks back and forth between Carmichael and Envi before exiting through the curtain.

Once Envi rolls out of the ring, he's greeting by cheers and applause for a good effort. Envi acknowledge the supportive crowd before he stops and sees Carmichael. The Former Johnny Karma slowly rises up from his seat as Envi approaches. As soon as Envi gets within arm's reach of him, Carmichael brains him with the microphone. He then mounts himself on top of Envi before taking the bottom of the mic and smashes it down against Envi's face over and over and over again. Carmichael then gets off of Envi before chucking the mic off the stage. A close up show reveals that Envi's been busted open. When Envi turns over on all fours, Carmichael runs back over and nails him with a punt kick to the ribs. The Chief cries out in pain after being kicked over onto his back. Carmichael delivers another punt kick, sending Envi rolling down the ramp to the ringside area. Carmichael then snatches up the chair before marching down the ramp. He then reaches down, snatches Envi back up and doubles him over with a hard knee to the midsection. He then takes the open chair and scissors it around Envi's neck. Carmichael takes Envi, runs and slams Envi hard into the ring post!!! The crowd erupts with boos as a Envi crumbles to the canvas. The Chief lays motionless as Carmichael stares down at him with a look of disdain...
