Stephy Auger: Don’t judge me! Besides, I don’t see you picking anyone to win the Rumble!
Voltage makes his way up to the apron before stepping in through the ropes. The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion points back and forth between him and Bisley before pointing to all of the other participants in the Rumble. Bisley looks around and nods in agreement.

Kris Cruise: No number has produced more Gold Rush Rumble winners than #26. Can Envi became the fourth person to win a Rumble from the #26 spot!
Stephy Auger: I’ll give him his due. He was an Ironman a couple of years ago when he lasted 41 minutes in the 2017 Rumble. But that was back when he had killer instinct and Camp Envi at his side. That’s when he was the man! He’s gone soft since then. He’s hanging around with Kazu Hirano. He’s got puppy dog eyes for Fujiko. This isn’t the same Chief!

The crowd cheers as she tries to dump Voltage to the outside. But the cheers quickly turn to boos when Voltage reaches back and rakes her across the eyes. Stephy Auger: #28? You can’t be mad at that!
Cien climbs up onto the apron, gets in the ring and immediately gets in the face of Cure. The crowd buzzes with anticipation as the two start jawing back and forth.
Kris Cruise: We’ve seen these two going back and forth on social media before.
Cure and Cien continue their war of words until a smirk forms. They both then turn, run over and double team Moss against the ropes.
Stephy Auger: YES!
Kris Cruise: What is this?
Stephy Auger: They’re working together! Cure and Cien are working together! Plus they’re attacking Lowri Moss! This is even better!
Kris Cruise: Well, there’s clearly no love lost between Moss and Cien as they’ve crossed paths in HKW Underground.

Stephy Auger: But she won’t be in there for much longer!
Another camera cut shows Voltage once again wrapped up around the bottom rope. Voltage tries to remain under the radar. But his plan fails when Bisley makes his way over and starts putting the boots to him! He then reaches down, grabs Voltage’s leg and drags him away. Bisley tries to turn him over into the L'Étoile du Nord (Canadian Maple Leaf), but Voltage uses his free leg to shove Bisley down to the mat. Both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base. Voltage beats Bisley back to his feet and takes advantage by darting over and knocking him down with the Ace of Spades (Shining Wizard)! He then takes Bisley and whips him into the corner. The boos continue as Voltage heads into the corner and catches Bisley with a clothesline in the corner. He goes to follow up with a running bulldog when Bisley shoves Voltage off of him and over towards Chase, who tackles him down with the Walk of Fame (spear)!

#29 - The opening bars of "Land of Sunshine" play over the PA system until golden light floods the entranceway to reveal John Carmichael stood at the top of the ramp, his back to the crowd and an arm held high with his index finger raised, making damn sure that everyone in the arena knows that he's there and they're now on his time.
Stephy Auger: There he is! There was a time when Johnny Kar-, excuse me, when
John Carmichael referred to himself as a Battle Royal God. Well let me tell you something. He might have dropped Cherry Baum. He might have dropped the Karma moniker. But the nickname still rings true. This man won a Gold Rush Rumble! He was the very first Ironman! No one has been in more Gold Rush Rumbles than him! No one has eliminated more people in the history of the Gold Rush Rumble than him! Coming in at #29? This is Carmichael’s match to lose! This is my pick right here!
Carmichael surveys the participants still in the Rumble as he methodically walks down to the ring. He climbs up onto the apron before stepping in through the ropes. Carmichael reaches down and slowly pulls Bristow back to his feet before clotheslining him over the top rope and to the floor!
(Nate Bristow - ELIMINATED)
Stephy Auger: There goes one!
Mason wastes little time going right after him. She charges in for an attack, only to get thrown down with the Salt of the Earth (tilt-a-whirl over the shoulder powerslam)! The boos continue as Carmichael then grabs Mason by the hair, runs and chucks her over the top rope and to the floor!
(Sara Mason - ELIMINATED)
Stephy Auger: That’s two!
Bisley quickly turns Carmichael around and doubles him over with a rolling solebutt. After knocking Carmichael upright with a knee lift, he pushes the 2017 Gold Rush Rumble winner against the ropes and delivers the Minnesota Buzzsaw. He then pulls Carmichael off the ropes and motions for an irish whip, only for Carmichael to reverse. When Bisley returns, Carmichael throws him down with authority with Life's A Bitch (pop up sitdown powerbomb)! Carmichael pulls Bisley back up, grabs him by the back of the neck, runs and chucks him over the top rope and to the floor!
(Mark Bisley - ELIMINATED)
Kris Cruise: Three quick eliminations for John Carmichael!
Stephy Auger: What did I tell you, Cruise? What did I tell you? He’s elimination guys right and left! He eliminated that pest Izzy Anders from Rumble competition after hitting her over the head with another steel chair shot. This is his match to lose!
Carmichael is quickly attacked from behind by both Cure and Cien. They then take Carmichael and whip him into the far ropes. They set up for a double back body drop. But Carmichael wisely hangs onto the ropes. Cien then stands up and rushes over to attack. Carmichael counters her attack with a drop toe hold that drops her down across the middle rope. Carmichael gets back to his feet and runs over to attack last year’s Rumble winner. King Cure tries to take his head off with a savate kick, but Carmichael ducks, quickly gains control of Cure’s back and brings him down with the Tahara (full nelson slam over the knee)! Carmichael then runs back across the ring before blasting Cien with the 718 (with an opponent lying on the ropes, Carmichael runs in and swings a knee through the ropes to knee them in the head)!
Stephy Auger: Carmichael’s dialing it up!
Carmichael goes to further attack Cien when Voltage comes out of the corner and knocks him down to a knee with a running lariat across the back of the neck. He then pulls Carmichael back to his feet and goes for a German Suplex when he gets countered with a low blow.
Kris Cruise: Oh no!
Stephy Auger: It’s all legal, too!
Voltage remains doubled over until Carmichael throws him down with a double underhook suplex. Carmichael gets back to his feet, turns around and does a double take as Chase leaps off the top rope with It’s A Bird, It’s A Plane, It’s a Chase (high crossbody)! The crowd boos when Carmichael catches her in mid air before bringing her down with the Fresh Meadow (swinging rib breaker)!
Kris Cruise: Chase gets brought down!
Stephy Auger: Cruise, it’s over. It’s all over! John Carmichael is running through this match, JUST LIKE I PREDICTED HE WOULD THIS ENTIRE TIME!
The crowd cheers when Moss turns Carmichael around and hits him with three European Uppercuts. She then takes Carmichael and whips him into the corner. Moss rushes in to attack until Carmichael turns her around with a boot to the face. The crowd boos when Carmichael hurls Moss into the turnbuckles with a half nelson suplex!
Kris Cruise: Good Lord!
Stephy Auger: There you go!
Carmichael quickly rolls to the outside. He then charges down ringside before turning Envi inside out with a lariat!
“BOOOOOOOOO!!”
The boos continue as Carmichael takes Envi, runs and chucks him head-first into the ring steps! Carmichael then takes Envi and slams him face-first into the steel steps three times before slamming him face-first into the ring post! Envi is quickly hooked from behind before being thrown down with a half nelson suplex on the floor!
Kris Cruise: There’s clearly no love lost between John Carmichael and Evan Envi. Carmichael hasn’t forgotten the beat downs that The Good Guys gave him. He hasn’t forgotten about the hell that Evan Envi used to put him do.
Stephy Auger: It’s too late to beg for forgiveness now, Evan!
Carmichael rolls back into the ring. The crowd erupts with boos as he circles the ring while pointing at his chest with his index finger.

Stephy Auger: GAH!
Carmichael quickly rolls to the outside. He marches down the ringside area, grabs Aldridge and throws him out of his chair before snatching it up for himself.
Kris Cruise: Look at Carmichael. He’s gone and found himself another chair!
Stephy Auger: Izzy clearly hasn’t learned her lesson. Every time she gets near Carmichael recently, a steel chair magically finds it way across her head!
The Mindkiller doesn’t dance to the beat as she normally does. Instead, she stares daggers at Carmichael from the stage. She then charges down to the ring.
Kris Cruise: Izzy’s going right after him!
As soon as Anders slides into the ring and gets up, Carmichael launches the chair at her head! This time, Anders ducks the chair before tackling him down to the mat! The crowd explodes with cheers as Anders mounts herself on top of Carmichael before raining down right hands to the face! The cheers turn to boos when Carmichael rolls over on top of Anders before returning the favor with right hands of his own. Anders then rolls back over before gouging Carmichaels’ eyes!

Carmichael tries to knock her head off with a wild haymaker. Anders is easily able to duck and responds by spitting right in his face!
“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Stephy Auger: The disrespect!
The Mindkiller follows up by knocking Carmichael’s head from side to side with MUDA MUDA MUDA (machinegun punches)! Anders continues her violent flurry of punches as Carmichael slumps down in the corner. Carmichael’s down in the seated position in the corner. But Anders doesn’t let up. The Mindkiller continues to fire off punch after punch until her knuckles turn bloody. The blood is revealed to be coming from Carmichael’s nose and mouth!
Kris Cruise: Izzy’s like a woman possessed!
Anders hasn’t slowed down as she’s determined to put her fists through Carmichael’s face! The Mindkiller continues her barrage of punches until Voltage grabs her from behind. The boos continue as he hoists Anders up for a belly to back suplex. But Anders is able to roll over his shoulder and land on her feet. While Anders is still being held back by the refs, Carmichael takes one of the chair, closes it shut and flings it at Anders, cracking her right in the face!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
The boos continue as Anders falls to the ground while Carmichael escapes to the back.
Kris Cruise: Carmichael’s running for his life!
