Sadie San Francisco vs. Kendall Kingham
The match starts with both Kingham and San Francisco shaking hands to start off the match. But The Pope isn’t quick to let go of Kingham’s hand. She eventually lets go before locking up. They both jockey for position until Kingham gains the advantage with a side headlock. She then quickly performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. After turning San Francisco towards her, Kingham goes to bring her down with a single arm DDT. But San Francisco is able to slip out in time. The two circle the ring before locking up again. This time, Kingham muscles San Francisco into the corner. After a clean break is made, Kingham delivers a knife edge chop. The Pope then takes Kingham, switches positions and nails Kingham with a knife edge chop of her own. After Kingham is whipped into the far corner, San Francisco rushes across the ring to attack when Kingham cuts her off with a boot to the face. Kingham delivers a European Uppercut before switching positions and delivering another knife edge chop. The Pope then quickly takes Kingham, switches positions in the corner and lights her up with knife edge chops to the chest and face. A knife edge chops to the throat doubles Kingham over. From there, The Pope places Kingham in a front facelock before delivering sharp elbows to the back of the head and neck. The last strike drops Kingham down to a knee. San Francisco then drops down and wrestles Kingham flat to the mat with a front facelock before delivering more sharp elbows to the head and neck. While San Francisco takes off into the far ropes, Kingham tries to get up to her feet. But San Francisco knocks her through the ropes and to the floor with a bicycle kick to the side of the head! Kingham then gets tackled down on the outside with a suicide dive through the ropes! San Francisco brings the action back inside and makes the cover. But Kingham gets her shoulder up at two.
As the match continues, San Francisco goes to work on the arm. She wrenches it multiple time before Kingham rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of her own. The Pope quickly reaches over, reverses into another arm wrench and throws out a spinning backfist. But Kingham blocks and counters with a three quarter facelock russian leg sweep for a two count. After an armbar is applied, San Francisco battles back to her feet and moves Kingham into the near ropes before shoving her off into the far ropes. When Kingham returns, San Francisco knocks her down with a spinning back elbow. She then executes a headscissors into an armbar. The Pope fights for the submission. But Kingham is ultimately able to maneuver herself so that she gets her foot on the bottom rope, forcing a rope break. San Francisco reluctantly breaks the hold once the ref’s count reaches four. San Francisco once again attacks the arm with multiple arm wrenches until she follows up with a wristlock into an inverted foot stomp, knocking Kingham into the ropes. While Kingham tries to shake out the cobwebs, The Pope rushes over and clocks her with a bicycle knee strike, causing Kingham to slump down against the ropes. San Francisco hits the far ropes, returns and places Kingham in Alcatraz (tiger feint crucifix armbar). San Francisco fights for the submission. But it's an illegal hold, due to both grapplers being tied up in the ropes. So the official gives her until the count of five to break it up. This time, San Francisco breaks the submission just after the ref’s count reaches four.
The Pope reluctantly breaks the hold before bringing Kingham out to the apron. She lifts Kingham up before bringing her down with a back suplex across the apron. While Kingham tries to pick herself up on the floor, San Francisco takes off into the far ropes, comes back, leaps through the ropes and takes out Kingham with another suicide dive! Kingam tries to get back to a vertical base as The Pope hits the far ropes once more. Sadie bounces back and picks up speed before leaping through the ropes for another suicide dive, only for Kingham to leap out of the way, causing San Francisco to crash to the floor! Kingham then goes after San Francisco’s arm by bringing her down with a single arm DDT on the padded floor! Kingham brings the action back into the ring and brings San Francisco back down with a double knee armbreaker! She then brings San Francisco back down with a hammerlock back suplex before making the cover. ONE! TWO! San Francisco gets her good shoulder up.
Kingham takes The Pope and moves her into the corner. After sitting her down on the top turnbuckle facing away from the ring, Kingham climbs up to the middle ropes and tries to go for an avalanche hammerlock back suplex. But San Francisco is able to counter with back elbows to the face using her free arm. The last elbow shot knocks Kingham off the ropes and sends her to the floor. While Kingham tries to crawl across the canvas, San Francisco stands up, turns around, leaps off and flattens Kingham with a diving knee drop! Instead of making the cover, San Francisco places Kingham in a Fujiwara Armbar! Kingham howls in pain while San Francisco pulls back on the arm. The official asks Kingham if she wants to give up. But Kingham refuses. So The Pope repeatedly yanks back on the arm. She continues to try and get Kingham to tap out. But Kingham continues to hang on. Kingham refuses multiple opportunity to tap out while she struggles to pull herself across the ring with her free arm. The capacity crowd is solidly in support of both grapplers. Kingham continues scratch and pull herself towards the side of the ring. She reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope! But San Francisco refuses to let go. So the official gives her until a count of five to break the hold. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-
San Francisco breaks the hold, rolls across Kingham’s back and grabs her by the ankle before dragging her back towards the center of the ring. She drops down and places Kingham in another Fujiwara Armbar! The Pope places her feet flat on the mat while she bridges back and pulls back the arm. Kingham continues to howl in agony while the ref asks her if she wants to quit. Kingham is tempted. She raises her arm. She starts to lower it, then stops. Kingham waves off the official. San Francisco continues to fight for the submission. But she ultimately becomes frustrated when it’s clear that Kingham won’t tap out. So The Pope pulls Kingham back to her feet before driving her down with a Fameasser! She makes the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Kingham gets her good shoulder up.
San Francisco pulls Kingham back to her feet and doubles her over with a hard knee to the midsection before hitting the ropes, When San Francisco returns, she throws out a bicycle knee. But Kingham slips out of the way and counters with a Brazilian Kick that rocks San Francisco. Kingham follows up with a Samoan Spike that knocks San Francisco down. A European Uppercut using her good arm returns The Pope to the mat. San Francisco then reverses an irish whip, sending Kingham towards the ropes. Kingham uses the momentum to knock San Francisco down with a springboard European Uppercut (using the good arm)! She goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! San Francisco kicks out. Kingham stays in control, whipping San Francisco into the corner. Kingham rushes in to attack when San Francisco ducks and dumps her over the top rope. Luckily for Kingham, she lands safely on the apron. When San Francisco turns around, she gets caught with another European Uppercut before Kingham brings her down with a Slingshot Spear through the ropes. She goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! San Francisco gets her shoulder up.
Kingham continues to stay on offense as she lifts San Francisco up across her good shoulder before bringing her down with a Canadian Backbreaker Drop! She makes the cover. ONE! TWO! San Francisco gets her shoulder up. Kingham sets up shot in the corner of the ring. Once San Francisco is in position, she rushes over and throws out a Knee Trembler, only for The Pope to slip out of the way, take control of her back and deliver a bridging German Suplex. Instead of staying bridged for the cover, San Francisco turns over, pulls Kingham back to her feet and lets go to run into the ropes. When San Francisco returns, she knocks Kingham down from behind with a Northern Lariat! She then drops down and locks Kingham in Our Lady of Sorrows (STF)! San Francisco cinches in the hold while Kingham howls in the pain. The official once again asks Kingham if she wants to give up. Once again, Kingham refuses. So San Francisco starts to tug back on the hold in the hopes that the added pressure will force Kingham to submit. But Kingham continues to hang on. Somehow, someway, Kingham fights through the pain that she’s in! She then slowly reaches forward and tries to pull herself across the ring. Kingham reaches forward before slowly pulling herself across the ring again. The vocal Kingham supporters here in the Flashpoint Zone continue to voice their support as Kingham scratches and claws her way across the canvas. Kingham reaches out, but she’s not there. So Kingham pulls herself forward again. She’s not quite there just yet. Kingham slows down. The Pope can feel it. She can feel the submission coming from Kingham. The official asks Kingham if she wants to quit. But she doesn’t! Once again, Kingham turns down the chance to quit! Kingham pulls herself forward and latches onto the bottom rope! The ref goes to force a rope break when Kingham doesn't stop there. The former two-time 15 Champion starts to crawl between the middle and bottom ropes! The crowd gasps when both San Francisco and Kingham hit the floor moments later. But San Francisco still keeps the STF applied! San Francisco fights like hell for the submission. Both with both grapplers on the outside, the referee won’t be able to stop the match if Kingham taps or verbally submits. While San Francisco keeps Our Lady of Sorrows applied, the official has no choice but to start counting them out.
