BATTLE ROYAL
Salem vs. Lowri Moss vs. Neal Durden vs. Sadie San Francisco vs. Johnny Karma vs.
Ashlyn De Luca vs. Nina Stokes vs. Kendall Kingham vs. Cordy Stevenson vs. Laura Perelli
Flashpoint returns from commercial break as Salem unstraps the belt and raises it over head in both hands and motions for the fans to get hyped, dropping the belt over her shoulder and swinging the cane, then bops her way toward the ring in time with the song, popping her shoulders up and down, swaying her arms around with a coy smile and wink to the audience.
She steps up the ring steps, throws her hood back, clutches the top rope and puts her feet on the bottom rope, gazing around and rocking up and down on the ropes...
She slides through the ropes, twirls off her cloak with a flourish and drops to a knee in the center of the ring placing the belt down in front of her, extending her arms out holding up the cane and playing to the crowd as the music fades. She hands the title belt to the referee and takes the cloak and cane to the corner, ready for the match.
Geoff Penzer: Folks, we are back from break. We just saw the United States Champion, Salem, making her entrance for tonight’s battle royal! Earlier tonight, we saw the confrontation between herself and Nina Stokes. I’ve just gotten word that on the next episode of Flashpoint, Stokes will challenge Salem once again for the United States Championship. This time, in a No Disqualification Match! I cannot wait for that one!
In the ring currently are Salem, Ashlyn De Luca, Pendragon, Laura Perelli, Johnny Karma, Sadie San Francisco, Kendall Kingham and Nina Stokes. The nine participants wait for the arrival of the final entrant...
The lights dim down and take on a purplish hue as a light smoky mist fills the entranceway. The soulful opening to Nipsey Hussle’s “Been Down” begins playing as Swizz Beats offering the tracks opening monologue.
Never sell out
Sometimes you gotta talk that talk to em, Nipsey
Sometimes they can't handle it though...
But we don't care...
Yeah
This a moment, This special...
As the beat drops, the crowd gives a loud pop as Cordelia Stevenson emerges from the mist with a bounce in her step and dancing to the music. She comes to a stop atop the walkway, glancing around and taking in the reception. She rolls her neck around before bowing her head and letting her hair fall in front of her face. A few seconds go by before she snaps her head up, whipping her hair back from in front of her face.
Geoff Penzer: There she is! Cordy Stevenson, nearly two years after retiring from the squared circle at the Six Year Anniversary show, has decided to put her boots back on and return to the ring! Listen to this capacity crowd! They’ve still got love for The Lioness of the Frontier!
She continues on down the ramp, working from side to side, slapping the hands of the fans along the way. Before she reaches the ring, she stops and pulls off her face mask, giving it to a lucky fan before hopping onto the apron and entering the ring. She immediately heads towards the turnbuckles, climbing up and raising a fist. After drawing cheers from the crowd, she hops down and heads to the other side of the ring, to repeat the process. Finally she hops down and saunters over to the corner as the music fades out.
The bell sounds as De Luca, Perelli and Stokes are rush over and gang up on Stevenson in the corner. The trio swarms Stevenson with punches, kicks and clubbing shots.
BOOOOOOOOOOOO
Geoff Penzer: Cordy has come into this match with a giant target on her back!
The triple team continues until Salem, Karma and Moss rush over and pull the trio off of Stevenson. Moss turns De Luca around and starts rocking her with European Uppercuts that knock her back. Across the ring, Salem is lighting up Stokes’ chest with knife edge chops. In the near corner, Karma gives Perelli a trio of knife edge chops. He then goes for an irish whip, only for Perelli to reverse, sending him into the far corner. Perelli charges across the ring before connecting with a high knee. Geoff Penzer: Perelli with the counter on Karma! She’s trying to rip his arm off!
Karma howls in pain while Perelli repeatedly yanks back on the arm. She then bridges back and holds the arm back at the current angle until Stevenson breaks up the hold with a rolling senton!
Geoff Penzer: Cordy makes the save for Karma!
Stevenson takes Perelli and goes for an irish whip. Perelli quickly reverses, sending Stevenson towards the ropes. Stevenson goes to counter with a handspring back elbow until Perelli catches her in mid air. She then walks around the ring with Stevenson held up before heaving her over her head with a release German Suplex. But Stevenson’s able to rotate and land on her feet! Before Stevenson can mount an attack, San Francisco grabs her from behind, turns and chucks her over the top rope! The crowd gasps, then sighs with relief when Stevenson lands safely on the apron. The Pope rushes over to knock Stevenson off the apron when Stevenson slides back in between her legs. When Sadie turns around, Cordy connects with a superkick, knocking her through the ropes and to the floor. She then turns back to Perelli and throws out another superkick. This time, the kick gets caught. Perelli swings Cordy’s leg away from her, takes control of her back and goes for a belly to back suplex. Stevenson’s able to roll over her shoulder, land on her feet and shove her over towards Karma, who knocks her down with Check Your Chiclets (superkick)! But Stokes blocks the move. So Salem tries to deliver another irish whip. But again, Stokes hangs onto the top rope with her free arm. She then reaches over with her left hand and grabs onto the middle rope as well. The Kodiak gets up and violently shakes the middle rope before grabbing a hold onto Salem and trying to shove her off. But Salem continues to avoid the floor. So Stokes quickly lets go, steps a few steps back, then charges forward and throws out the Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III (Boma Ye Knee Strike)! The crowd gasps, then cheers when Salem lets go of the ropes and rolls out of the way on the apron, just barely missing the strike. Before Stokes can catch her, Salem slips herself back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Stokes then marches over and puts the boots to Salem in the corner.
Sadie is seen rolling herself back into the ring. As The Pope returns to a vertical base, she sees Kingham standing near her. San Francisco makes her way over towards Kingham. The two have a few respectful words before locking up. After jockeying for position, Kingham muscles San Francisco across the ring and into the ropes. She then leans forward, hooks her arm around one of San Francisco’s legs and tries to dump her over the top rope. But San Francisco counters with clubbing strikes across the back. She then switches position, pushes Kingham against the ropes, grabs her around the waist and tries to dump her over the top rope. But Kingham counters with elbows to the back of the head. Sadie then turns and rushes into the far ropes while Kingham pulls herself up using the ropes. When The Pope comes back, she picks up speed as she looks to knock Kingham off the apron. But Kingham’s able to leap through the ropes and cut her off with a slingshot spear!
Geoff Penzer: What a spear by Kingham!
Durden takes De Luca and whips her hard into the far corner. As De Luca stumbles out of the corner, Moss hits the far ropes. When she returns, Durden throws her into De Luca with an assisted dropkick! The move knocks De Luca to the mat before her momentum sends her rolling to the outside. Moss and Durden turn to each other and high five each other. Pendragn then slowly turns and sees both Stevenson and Karma a few steps away from them. After they bounce off of opposite ropes, Stevenson and Karma rush towards the center of the ring. Karma throws out a clothesline, only for Stevenson to duck and continue to run the ropes. After Cordy and Karma bounce off of opposite sets of ropes, they run towards the center of the ring and knock each other down with a clothesline!
Geoff Penzer: Both Karma and Cordy are both down!
Both grapplers remain sprawled out on the mat before starting to stir. Stevenson slowly turns over on all fours while Karma slowly sits up before turning over to a knee. Cordy and Karma return to their feet before Karma grabs her and whips her into the ropes. When Stevenson returns, Karma lifts her up, turns and throws her down with a spinebuster! Karma pulls Cordy back up before lifting her up across his shoulders. He then heads over towards the rope to dump her to the outside with a fireman’s carry takeover. But Stevenson is able to counter with multiple elbows to the side of the head. After slipping down from behind, Stevenson turns Karma towards her before bringing him down with a leaping reverse bulldog! After Karma rolls over onto his back, Stevenson returns to her feet with a kip up before once again yelling to the crowd,
“LET’S DO THIS!”Cordy picks up Karma and places him into an over the shoulder hangman. Members of the crowd catcall Stevenson while she swivels her hips. She’s about to go for the Deadly Seduction (Rude Awakening) when Karma reaches back and counters with the Bum Trip (shoulder neckbreaker)!
Geoff Penzer: That little bit of showboating just cost Cordy there! But will it also cost her the match?
Karma picks up Stevenson before taking control of her back. He rolls her in front of him before throwing out Hard Times. The crowd erupts with cheers when Stevenson ducks and counters with a Flatover DDT, planting Karma head-first into the mat! While Karma pushes himself up onto his knee, Stevenson turns and hits the ropes. When she returns, she knocks Karma down with The Friendzone (Flying hip attack to the head of a kneeling opponent)!
Stevenson picks up Karma, runs across the ring and goes to toss him over the top rope when Karma quickly pivots, grabs Karma and chucks her. The crowd gasps as Stevenson goes over the top rope! Karma turns and drops to his knee, thinking that he’s won. But Cordy hangs on while she dangles from the top rope. After composing herself, the crowd cheers as Cordy gets back into the ring by skinning the cat. She then heads into the corner while Karma returns to a vertical base. When Karma turns around, Stevenson goes for the Deadly Seduction. But Karma ducks out of the way. After Stevenson lands safely on her feet, she gets scooped up from the side before receiving a backbreaker. Instead of letting Stevenson hit the floor, Karma lifts her up on his knee, heads towards the side of the ring and chucks Cordy through the ropes and to the floor.
Geoff Penzer: Cordy went through the ropes, not over the top. She’s still in this.
As Stevenson picks herself up, Karma turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, the crowd cheers when he picks up speed before flattening Stevenson on the outside with This Is For The Front Row (baseball slide clothesline)! Karma picks up Cordy and rolls her back inside. Karma then climbs up onto the apron before scaling the turnbuckles.
Geoff Penzer: Karma has to be careful up there...
Cordy returns to her feet, only to get returned to the mat with a diving double ax handle. But Karma isn't done. He heads right back out to the apron before climbing the turnbuckles.
Geoff Penzer: Karma’s not done!
Once Karma reaches the top, he looks up and points both index fingers into the air before leaping off and crashing down across Stevenson with a flying elbow drop!
Geoff Penzer: From The Stars Above!
Karma picks up Stevenson and pulls her into a standing headscissors. He lifts her up for Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up until Stevenson kicks him with her leg, forcing him to drop her. Cordy follows up with The Foot Fetish, which sends Karma stumbling backwards into the corner. Stevenson then runs over to attack when Karma knocks her back with the Kodak Moment (rope-assisted dropkick) before she collapses to the canvas. Stevenson slowly turns over onto a knee before picking herself back up. As she turns around, Karma throws out Check Your Chiclets. But Cordy’s able to duck in time. When Karma turns around, he gets brought down with The Love Connection!
Cordy steps out onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle. She then crouches down while she patiently waits for Karma to get into position. Cherry is seen slapping the apron while she tries to yell at Karma to watch out. But Karma appears to be in another world. Karma slowly turns over on all fours before getting back to a vertical base. As Karma turns around, Stevenson stands back, leaps off and executes Get Familiar (The O-Face)! The crowd erupts with cheers while Karma stumbles back before collapsing against the ropes. Stevenson then turns and hits the far ropes. When Cordy comes back, she picks up speed before delivering a high-impact clothesline, which sends them both over the top rope… and to the floor! Both grapplers immediately crumble to he floor as the bell sounds.
Geoff Penzer: There it is! Cordy’s done it! In her first match back, Cordy Stevenson has earned herself a shot at Savannah Taylor and the International Heavyweight Championship at Autumn Annihilation!
Stevenson rolls back into the ring and raises her arms in victory. But she doesn’t hear her name announced or her music playing. Cordy turns and sees multiple referees on the outside. One ref then goes into the ring and raises Cordy’s arm in the air, signaling that she’s won the match.
Geoff Penzer: Now it’s official!
Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and the number one contender to the International Heavyweight Championship, CORDYYYY STEEE-
Stevenson poses on the middle ropes before turning and looking over at Sierra, who is busy being informed of something by another official. This official then goes over to Karma at ringside before raising his arm in the air to an eruption of cheers.
Geoff Penzer: What’s this?
Melanie Sierra: Correction! Here is your winner and the number one contender to the International Heavyweight Championship, JOHNNYYYYY KAAAAAR-
Both Karma and Baum turn their attention to Sierra, who is being waved off by the first official. The second official then goes over and again argues with the first official. The two debate back and forth while Karma rolls into the ring. Stevenson heads over to Karma and lets him know that she won the Battle Royal. But Karma refuses that outcome as he shakes his head from side to side. Karma then marches into the corner, climbs up onto the middle ropes and points out to the fans.
KARMA!
KARMA!
KARMA!
KARMA!
Stevenson heads over into the opposite corner, climbs up to the middle ropes and points out to the crowd.
CORDY!

Stevenson and Karma meet in the center of the ring. Stevenson raises her arm in the air before Karma pull it down before raising his. The two continue to argue back and forth while Flashpoint fades to black...
