They are the team of “THE BIG DOG” Persephone Waters and Seren Beyer, BIG DOG'S GOAT SQUAD MOTHERF*CKING MONEY FACTORY, 3000!

Stephy Auger: Trusty Jew.

Guy Rambo: ...her PARTNER, Seren Beyer, were able to advance past the opening round. Not only is this there second match f the night, but they have arguably their biggest test up next on this side of the bracket.

Stephy Auger: *Yawn*

Blackness. It's almost total, broken up only by a few flashes from phones in the audience.

Voice: Ladies and gentlemen... Carina Eventide and Laurel Anne Hardy proudly present to you... Polyffoni Cósmica.

As Tash Sultana's "Synergy" slowly swells up over the speakers, pink and purple strobe lights low to the ground illuminate a carpet of dry ice, while small, brilliant pinpricks twinkle behind it all. The final effect is that of a starfield, a vast panorama of rolling nebulae...

...through which bursts a firework sea urchin. A humanoid figure made of glowing indigo-blue dots, standing upright, arms spread wide and head tilted back. Gradually, another figure rises at its base - this one similarly made up of little specks of blue light, but in a more turquoisey shade. It swims up the front of the first figure, replacing it, while the first sinks back down... only to begin rising up the front of the second in turn. The two star-people flow towards the ring in this manner, a continuing wheel of cosmic birth and death - an evidently well-choreographed and well-rehearsed dance of supernovae endlessly expanding out of one another.

Once they get close, that total blackness falls again as the figures fade from sight. All is still for a moment... suddenly the figures burst up again, right around where you'd find the ringposts. The lights come back up to reveal Carina Eventide and Laurel Anne Hardy, standing atop opposite turnbuckles and hyping the crowd up. They're both in black tights and tops, with black lipstick and stripes of black paint across their eyes, with their clothing and makeup alike dotted with a colourful starfield design.

Guy Rambo: That was a hell of an entrance by Eventide and Hardy!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, it was… something.

The bell sounds as Waters once again takes a powder to the outside at the start of the match. She snatches Guy Rambo’s 10-gallon hat from off his head before flinging it through the ropes like a frisbee. She then scoops up Isaac the Space Monkey before tossing him over the top rope and into the ring! She then reaches down and starts to peel back the protective padding at ringside, exposing the concrete floor.

Stephy Auger: This woman is nuts, Rambo!

Waters keeps the pad held up as Eventide runs over, flips over the top rope and flattens her with a Fosbury Flop plancha, squashing Waters between the concrete floor and the padding!

Guy Rambo: OHHHH!

Eventide leaps up onto the apron with one smooth motion. She then slingshots up, lands in a seated position across the top rope and flips back, delivering an Arabian Press Moonsault to Waters on the floor!

Guy Rambo: Waters’ plan is backfiring in a major way!

Eventide rolls back inside. After grabbing a hold of the top rope with both hands, she delivers a springboard somersault leg drop to the floor on top of Waters!

Stephy Auger: Waters is trapped with nowhere to go!

Eventide peels back the padding before pulling Waters up off the floor. She then pushes Waters back inside before sliding back in to make the cover.

The crowd erupts with cheers upon seeing Hardy officially in an FGA match for the first time in forever. She begins rocking Waters with multiple Battlegrounds Uppercuts (European Uppercut, with the other arm pushing the opponent’s head down). Waters is then brought out of the corner before getting whipped into the far ropes. When Waters returns, Hardy doubles her over with a Hadouken before hitting the ropes, returning and knocking THE BIG DOG down with the The Poseidon Misadventure (diving front flip leg drop to a doubled over opponent's neck)! She pulls Waters over before making the cover.

Hardy pulls up Waters and rocks her with a headbutt, sending her stumbling backwards against the ropes. After bouncing off the ropes, Waters staggers back over towards Hardy, who grabs her by the head with both hands. Hardy leans her head back before lunging forward, cracking Waters across the face with a headbutt. Waters immediate drops to her knees. Hardy pulls Waters up off her knees before bringing her down with the Super Duper Acid Party (Labai throw followed by shining enzuigiri)! She makes the cover.

Hardy takes Waters and goes for an irish whip. But Waters reverses and follows Hardy into the corner. Instead of crashing into the corner, Hardy runs up the turnbuckles before flipping off with a Whisper in the Wind. The crowd gasps when Waters catches her in mid air before turning around and countering with a modified powerbomb! She makes the cover.

Guy Rambo: Waters desperately needed that to switch the momentum!

Waters heads over and tags is Seren. Big Money Beyer rushes over, takes Hardy and moves her into the corner before working over the body with left hooks to the midsection. Hardy responds with a headbutt, sending Beyer stumbling back before dropping to the floor. Beyer turns over, gets back to her feet and rushes over and connect with another left hand. Hardy responds by knocking her down with a Battlegrounds Uppercut. After Beyer is moved into the ropes, Hardy goes for an irish whip when Beyer blocks by hanging onto he top rope with her free hand. Hardy goes for another irish whip when Beyer blocks again by hanging onto the top rope. Hardy kicks Beyer in the midsection before whipping her into the far ropes. When Beyer returns, she brings Hardy down with a wheelbarrow bulldog! She makes the cover.

Beyer takes Hardy and goes for an irish whip when Hardy reverses, sending Beyer into the corner. Hardy rushes in to attack when Beyer counters with a back elbow to the face before following up with a Flatliner into the turnbuckle. After Hardy drops down to all fours, Beyer steps out to the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. Big Money Beyer leaps off the top before flattening Hardy with a Mushroom Stomp! She drags Hardy out of the corner, turns her over onto her back and makes the cover.

Beyer takes Hardy and whips her into the ropes. When Hardy returns, she throws out a Legitimate Haafu Businesswoman Kick (Yakuza kick). Beyer catches her foot, swings the leg away from her and brings her down with a jumping neckbreaker! She makes the cover.

Beyer heads over and tags Waters back in. THE BIG DOG hops back down off the apron, lifts up the ring skirt and pulls out three more steel chairs.

Stephy Auger: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HER!? JUST GO FOR THE PIN!

THE BIG DOG tosses the chairs into the ring and Big Money Beyer strategically set them up in place. Hardy is then tosses through the ropes and to the outside by Beyer. Waters takes Hardy, sits her in a steel chair and delivers machine gun chops to the chest. Waters then rolls back inside before running into the far ropes. THE BIG DOG bounces off before continuing to run the ropes. Waters comes back and continues to run the ropes. Waters bounces off and continues to run into the far ropes. Waters then picks up speed as she runs into the another set of far ropes. After Waters bounces back, she jumps off the seat of each chair before bouncing off the top rope and flattening Hardy at ringside with a top rope seated senton!

Guy Rambo: GOOD GOD!

As Waters gets up on the outside, Eventide slingshots over the top rope before running across the ring. Eventide picks up speed before flinging herself over the top rope, knocking Waters down with a no-hands corkscrews plancha! Beyer locks in on Eventide. The moment Eventide starts to pick herself up, Beyer runs along the apron. She throws herself off and goes for a flying hip attack. But Eventide is able to roll out of the way, causing Beyer to crash to the floor!

Stephy Auger: Beyer crashes and burns on the floor!

Eventide goes over, pulls up Beyer and delivers the Red Cube (Pop Up Powerbomb) across the edge of the apron!

Stephy Auger: That’s it! She’s done!

Eventide pulls Waters back to her feet. She hoists her up for the Code Red. But the moment Waters lands on Eventide’s shoulders, she spins and flips back, bringing her down with a Poison Rana on the floor!

Guy Rambo: Eventide just got drove head-first onto the floor!

The referee moves the chairs out of the ring while Waters rolls Hardy back inside. She then rolls her back back in before making the cover.

Waters goes to pick up Hardy when Hardy catches Waters by surprise with a headbutt. Another headbutt stuns THE BIG DOG. Hardy leans back before lunging forward with another headbutt. This time, Waters counters with a handstand gamengiri, knocking Hardy back. Waters then rushes over before bringing Hardy down with a satellite headscissors into a russian leg sweep! Waters returns to her feet before executing a standing corkscrew moonsault! She hooks the leg.

Hardy is whipped into the far corner. Waters charges into the corner before connecting with a corner rolling wheel kick. Water then pushes Hardy out of the corner when she sees Eventide rising to her feet on the outside. So she grabs a hold of the top rope with both hands before bringing Eventide down with a springboard dragonrana suicida! Waters leaps back up onto the apron. She starts to scale the turnbuckles. As soon as she gets one foot on the top turnbuckle, Hardy runs up the turnbuckles and grabs her leg. She then lifts Waters up, jumps back and throws her down with an avalanche Party Hardy: The Hangover (fisherman suplex lift flipped into sitout powerbomb)!

Guy Rambo: HOLY HELL, what a move by the imaginative Laurel Anne Hardy! That has to be a three count right there!

The ref slides into place for the cover.

Waters is slowly lifted back up before being thrown back down with Party Hardy: The Melancholy of Sunday Afternoon (Fisherman suplex lift flipped into powerbomb lungblower)!

Water slowly turns over onto all fours. Hardy sees this, so she turns and hits the ropes. When Hardy comes back, she goes to drive Waters face-first into the mat with the Anus Horriblis (Step-off seated senton to the back of the head of an opponent on all fours). But Waters rolls out of the way, causing Hardy to land in a seated position on the mat. Hardy tries to get up, only to get knocking down with a rolling koppu kick from Waters. Waters then heads out onto the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. When Waters reaches the top, she flips off and goes for Persephone 2: The Return Of Jafar (Corkscrew 630)! She misses! Hardy gets her knees up, causing Waters to crash down across them!

Guy Rambo: The high risk does not pay off for Waters there!

Hardy pulls herself up using the ropes. When she turns around, she sees Waters favoring her back. Once Waters is back to her feet, Hardy rushes over to deliver the Gáe Buide (Spear) when Beyer blindsides her with a running front dropkick! Beyer moves Hardy into the corner and sits her down on the top turnbuckle. Beyer holds Hardy in position while Waters heads back out to the apron. Once Waters gets to the top, the Goat Squad brings Hardy down with an Avalanche Cutter/Frog Splash across the back! Waters pushes Hardy over and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: C’mon, put her away!

Waters tags Beyer back in. While Beyer holds Hardy in place, Waters scales the turnbuckles once more. She then leaps off and executes a diving headsicssors, sending Hardy over towards Beyer, who turns socks her with a left cross. Waters goes for a Poison Rana. But Hardy counters by pushing Waters off of her shoulders. Once Waters lands down in front of Hardy, she brings THE BIG DOG down with the Der Ursprung des Kunstwerkes (Inverted sitout side slam). Beyer then rushes over and tackles Hardy down with a Lou Thesz Press! Big Money Beyer mounts on top of Hardy and rains down left hands to the face. Hardy then rolls over on top of Beyer and lunges down, connecting with multiple headbutts. She then pulls Beyer back to her feet before whipping her into the corner. Hardy charges across the ring before blasting her with the Legitimate Haafu Businesswoman Kick! Beyer is then whipped into the far corner before Hardy charges across the ring and connects with another Legitimate Haafu Businesswoman Kick! Beyer staggers out of the corner before dropping down to a knee. While Beyer attempts to shake out the cobwebs, Hardy hits the far ropes. When she returns, she clobbers Beyer across the side of the head with the Punctum (knee strike to the side of the head)! Hardy heads over and tags Eventide back in. Eventide gets in and pulls a dazed Beyer back up to her knees before hitting the ropes. When Eventide returns, she flattens Beyer with the Bubble Burst (Bicycle high knee to a kneeling opponent)! She then pulls Beyer back up before bringing her down with the Silver Star (Standing Sitout Shiranui)! She makes the cover.

Backstage inside the Verizon Arena, FGA interviewer Spencer Burke is standing by in front of a red painted door sporting a professional smile.

Spencer Burke: Ladies gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time…

Before he can finish his sentence, however, the door swings open and exiting are The Good Guys themselves, Evan Envi and Ricky Valero. Both men are in their ring gear and presumably ready for their matchup in tonight’s main event, but they both look intriguingly exasperated which brings a smug smirk to the reporter’s face.

Spencer Burke: Why are you guys both so sweaty?

The camera pans over to Evan Envi, who wipes at his face with a towel before slinging it over his shoulder and giving Spencer a small shrug, pondering while Valero speaks up.

Ricky Valero: We just got done working out. What the hell do you think, Spence?

Spencer cocks an eyebrow.

Spencer Burke: Working out? Before your main event match tonight?

Valero is becoming increasingly agitated with his inquisitive nemesis.

Ricky Valero: Yes, Spence, we like to stay ready. You’ve been in this business for a long time now. You know anything can happen at any moment. Us Good Guys, we’re always one step ahead of the competition.

Valero taps his index finger against his temple with a sheepish grin. Spencer blinks… and rolls his neck toward Envi, giving him an unimpressed look.

Evan Envi: Look-- if you can’t wrestle a main-event caliber tag team match and then go out there and run the gauntlet after two hardcore hours of DDP Yoga then why are you even out here? You know what I mean?

Valero raises his hand up over his head in praise.

Ricky Valero: Preach on it, my friend!

Evan Envi: We’re twice-in-a-lifetime athletes, Spence. That’s why we can get away with stuff like that.

Spencer is unamused.

Spencer Burke: Right...but tonight the two of you are actually opponents in our main event as you both will be competing with Chris Madison, James Edwards, Izzy Anders, Seth Iser, and Piper Lennon in a gauntlet match to decide the number one contender for Fujiko Mine and the FGA World Championship.

Valero snickers.

Ricky Valero: And we are both more than ready to step into that ring tonight.

Spencer Burke: But as opponents yourselves, certainly the game plan may involve the two of you having to go head to head?

Valero shrugs his shoulders.

Ricky Valero: If it comes down to that, Evan and myself, we’re professionals. We’re also competitors and we recognize how monumental a match this is for each of us. We may be the two best athletes in all of FGA right now, but only one competitor can leave that ring victorious. We’ll do whatever it takes to ensure that that person is a Good Guy.

Spencer Burke: Hm.

Spencer turns to look at the Chief, perking a brow.

Spencer Burke: And you feel the same way, I take it, Evan?

The Chief looks from Spencer, to Valero, offering a broad smile.

Evan Envi: Dude, of course. Ricky and I are almost guaranteed to come face to face in this Gauntlet because, as we’ve established, that’s who we are as competitors. After All-Star Showdown… we…

Evan pauses, giving Valero a quick glance out of the corner of his eye before looking to the interviewer once more.

Evan Envi: We left everything in the ring and somehow it wasn’t good enough. But to us-- to the Good Guys-- those are unacceptable results. We owe it to ourselves to be better than what we were against Karma, and against Harter… which means we owe it to ourselves to be better than we’ve ever been before, Spence. Those are the Good Guys you’re gonna see tonight. And one of us is running the Gauntlet-- going to Above and Beyond to beat Fujiko-- and bringing the World Championship back into the camp it belongs to.

Evan slaps a reassuring hand on Ricky’s shoulder while he maintains eye contact with Burke. Valero looks a bit surprised, but pleased by Evan’s words, smirking as he too looks at Burke.

Ricky Valero: Anymore stupid questions? Now if you don’t mind--

Valero begins to lead the way back into the dressing room, but Spencer clears his throat.

Spencer Burke: Actually, yeah.

Valero tenses as his hand grips the doorknob. A bitter laugh escapes his mouth as he tilts his head back and swivels right back toward the interviewer.

Spencer Burke: After All-Star Showdown had gone off the air, our cameras caught up with Evan Envi at multiple points in the evening-- and I’ll definitely ask you about the first one at a later time, Chief-- but one of those moments was an interaction between the two of you. There seemed to be some tension in the camp. Anything you guys wanna say?

Burke’s gaze rests specifically on Ricky. Valero narrows his eyes at the interviewer.

Spencer Burke: Anything. At all?

Valero takes a step toward Spencer. Evan looks prepared to reach out, but simply folds his arms instead, looking away and shaking his head as Valero purposely walks into Burke, standing chest-to-chest with the interviewer. Burke nods to himself and takes a step back.

Spencer Burke: Good luck then.

Hurriedly, Spencer pivots and walks away and out of frame. The camera focuses on Ricky as he glares a hole into the departing interviewer’s back.

Evan Envi: Richard.

Ricky doesn’t move. Doesn’t blink.

Evan Envi: Ricky.

Valero rolls his eyes toward his partner… but as he turns back to face Evan, he trades the scowl for a small smirk.

Ricky Valero: Ready, Chief?

Valero walks past Evan, back into the room to finish pre-match preparations while Envi lingers on the outside. Envi looks into the direction that Spencer left, but simply shakes his head and turns, walking back into the locker room. We fade away on the red door.

The Scarborough Fair vs. The League of Extraordinary GentleGrapplers

“What a Wonderful World” by Sam Cooke while Ethan Giles takes time shaking hands with every fan at ringside. After shaking hands with Manny Cruz, he makes his way over to the announce table and shakes hands with “Tough” Guy Rambo and Stephy Auger. When Giles turns to make his way into the ring, a disgusted Auger wipes her hand off on Rambo’s shirt.

Guy Rambo: What was that all about.

Stephy Auger: I don’t trust him.

Guy Rambo: What is there not to like about Ethan Giles!? He is one of the sweetest, purest people we have in this sport. There's so much negativity going on in the world today. It’s great to have a guy like Rambo out in the forefront to let us know that there’s still some good, genuine people out there.

Stephy Auger: Please, there’s nothing genuine about Giles at all. This whole “goodie two shoes” routine is all an act. Someone who acts this innocent and sweet all the time is secretly an ass underneath the facade.

Guy Rambo: Hmm, sounds like you’re describing Annie Zellor to a T from a couple of years ago.

Stephy Auger: Har Har Har! It’s your first day on the job and you’re already making enemies. I can’t wait to tell on you!

Guy Rambo: Go right ahead. I may be long retired. But I can still take both her and Harter on.

Stephy Auger: Please, you wouldn’t last five minutes against any member of The New Murder.

Guy Rambo: Even Fenrys?

Stephy Auger: ...okay, so maaaybe him!

The lights go down in the arena, save for the spotlight over the entrance ramp. With each crescendo of bass-y reverb before the music begins, the stage lights flash, separated by the sped-up vocal sample of "House Train". It's when the beat picks up and Stormzy starts rapping that the stage erupts in a flurry of smoke and pyrotechnics, revealing a triumphant Blaise Fader. She leaps forward into the spotlight, shooting a pair of Victory V's in the air as sparks from the pyro rain down on her.

Guy Rambo: Here comes the powerhouse of the GentleGrappers, Blaise Fader! It’s going to be an honor calling this match. Fader is one of the game’s greats, Stephanie. You can look at any fan or wrestler’s top ten. You’d be hard pressed to find a list that didn’t have Fader on it!

Keeping with the upbeat, frenetic tempo of her music, Blaise makes her way down the ramp, slapping hands and taking part in selfies with fans, making it a point to lap the ringside area for high fives all around. Not exactly fit enough to dive through the ropes or leap onto the ring apron, Blaise takes the steel steps and vaults herself over the ropes, working the crowd on each side of the ring. She raises Victory V's from each turnbuckle. From there, she shadowboxes her corner, ready for her opponent.

Manny Cruz: Ladies and gentlemen, THIS… is a First Round Match in the 2019 Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament! Introducing first, in the corner to my right! Weighing in this evening at a total combined weight of 440 pounds! They are the duo of Blaise Fader and Ethan Giles… THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEGRAPPLERS!!!

Manny Cruz: Their opponents, From Berkeley, California... At a combined weight of 246 pounds... Mickey and Raquel... THE SCARBOROUGH FAIR!!

As the hard riff of “The Little Things” plays, the entire arena gets filled with cheers. Spotlights of yellow and pink and green flicker through the crowd and the arena darkens while the music plays. Mickey and Raquel emerge from the top of the ramp with a ladder in tow, holding it up together. Raquel and Mickey put down the ladder and high-five after coming down. Fair and Scarborough roll into the ring before climbing opposite turnbuckles, soaking in the cheers with wily grins before talking strategy in the corner as their music fades out.

Guy Rambo: The Scarborough Fair are arguably the most accomplished team in this tournament! Three-time SVW Tag Team Champions! Two-time FFW Tornado Tag Champions! FFW Unity Tag Team Champions! Twice they’ve been named the Tag Team of the Year! They have a resumé that speaks to Hall of Fame status. But there’s one thing that haven’t accomplished and that’s winning the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament. But that could all change here in 2019! Scarborough Fair have a long road ahead of them. But they could take a huge step towards winning DDT3 here tonight against the GentleGrapplers!

The bell sounds as Ethan Giles and Mickey Scarbrough start things off. Scarborough is ready for a lock up. But before the grapps get underway, Giles, being the gentleman that he is, starts things off with offering a handshake. He even puts his left hand behind his back. Scarborough smiles as she goes in for the handshake. But she quickly takes advantage of Giles’ kindness by turning the handshake into an arm wrench.

Stephy Auger: Giles’ kindness came back to bite him!

Scarbrough quickly wrenches the arm again. Giles takes his free hand and wags his finger at Scarborough before she follows up with another arm wrench. Giles responds by rolling forward. He then turns over onto his knees, flips over with a handstand, spins in place and smoothly transitions into a hammerlock. He then quickly spins Scarborough towards him before bringing her down to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Scarborough grabs a hold of Giles and pulls him into a pin with a classic bridge & roll counter.

Giles rolls back over into the dominant position while keeping the side headlock applied. The official gets down and asks Scarborough if she wants to give up. She refuses. After battling back to a vertical base, Scarborough is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock of her own. Giles then quickly spins out and gets back into dominant position by reversing back into a hammerlock of his own. Scarborough reaches back with her free arm, grabs Giles and brings him down with a jumping snapmare takeover. While Giles returns to a vertical base, Scarborough turns and hits the ropes. When Scarborough comes back, Giles goes to bring her down with a hip toss when she counters with a monkey flip! As Giles gets back to his feet, Scarborough rushes over before bringing him down with a wheelbarrow victory roll.

Once both grapplers are back to their feet, Scarborough is quick to catch Giles with a superkick to the midsection. Giles doubles over before dropping down to all fours. Scarborough then turns and hits the ropes. When she returns, she pins Giles with an Oklahoma Roll.

Scarborough then takes Giles and sets up an irish whip. Giles reverses, sending Scarborough into the ropes. When she returns, Giles goes for a back body drop when Scarborough slips down from behind before rolling him up with a School girl.

Once both grapplers are back to their feet, Giles reverses another irish whip and sends Scarborough into the ropes. When she returns, she gets taken down with a drop toe hold. Giles rolls over and places Scarborough in a grounded front facelock. Scarborough fights her way back up onto her hand and knees before Giles transitions into Got Your Arm (la magistral cradle)!

Guy Rambo: Another nearfall. This time, for Giles!

Both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base. Giles strikes first by bringing Scarborough down with a standing double leg takedown. He then flips over into a jackknife pin.

Scarborough bridges up, turns over, turns again, hooks Giles’ arms from behind and ties to bring him down with a backslide pin. But Giles is able to roll over Scarborough’s shoulders, lands on his feet and pulls her down into a small package. Instead of keeping Scarborough’s shoulders pinned on the mat, Giles delivers a rolling small package, sending both grapplers in a circle around the ring. Giles then stops as he keeps Scarborough’s shoulders down for the pin.

Both grapplers return to their feet. But both grapplers are dizzy after the rolling small package spot. Giles and Scarborough stagger across the ring before collapsing against opposite sets of ropes. Giles and Scarborough then grab a hold of the ropes and use them to pull themselves over into their respective corners. The crowd cheers when Fader and Fair have been tagged in.

Stephy Auger: Here we go!

Fair sizes up Fader before rushing across the ring to try and knock her off her feet with a dropkick. It’s to no avail. So Fair runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she picks up speed before trying to knock Fader down with a crossbody block. That, too, fails when Fair bounces right off of Fader. After returning to her feet, Fair looks Fader up and down before rushing over and bashing Fader with a forearm smash. Fader responds with a headbutt, which quickly drops Fair to the mat. Fader pulls her back to her feet and delivers a blistering knife edge chop that echoes through the arena. Fair guards her chest before firing back with a stinging chop of her own. Before Fader goes to answer back with another chop, Fair cuts her off with another knife edge chop. Fair hits a third chop… then a fourth… then a fifth. She then takes Fader and goes for an irish whip. But Fader squats to block the move. She then stands back up before reversing the irish whip, sending Fair into the ropes. When Fair returns, Fader throws out a knife edge chop to the face. Fair ducks before continuing to run the ropes. When Fair comes back, she ducks a forearm smash before continuing to run the ropes. Upon Fair’s return, Fader goes for a back body drop. Fair goes to counter with a sunset flip. The crowd cheers while Fader swings her arms to regain her balance. Once Fader regains her balance, Fair shakes her head sideways. Fader looks down at Fair and nods her head before going for a seated senton. She misses when Fair slips out of the way just in time. While Fader remains seated on the mat, Fair quickly calls Scarborough into the ring. The Scarborough Fair then nails Fader with a front dropkick/forearm smash to the back of the head! Fair makes the cover.

Fair takes Fader, moves her into the corner and nails her with multiple throat thrusts. She then goes downstairs by delivering rights and lefts to the body. Fair then goes back upstairs, rocking Fader with a haymaker. Fader tries to shake off the blow by walking out of the corner. But Fair stays on her. She turns Fader back towards her before rocking her with another haymaker. Fair then pulls Fader from off the ropes, brings her down with a snapmare and follows up with a dropkick to the back of the head. She makes the cover.

Fair pulls up Fader and whips her into the ropes. When Fader comes back, the crowd cheers when Fair leaps to her feet and drives her down with a standing double foot stomp! Fair follows up with a corkscrew elbow drop before making the cover.

Guy Rambo: Fair is taking the fight to the powerhouse! I’m a bit surprised.

Stephy Auger: So am I. I figured this would be the other way around. But that tandem move from Scarborough Fair has helped to give their team the advantage thus far.

Fair takes Fader and whips her into the corner. She then rushes towards the corner to attack when Fader charges out of the corner and runs her over with a shoulder block! Fader then picks Fair back up and delivers an irish whip before running into another set of ropes. When Fair comes back, she doesn’t see Fader in front of her. So she quickly puts on the brakes. When Fair turns to her left, Fader flattens her with a crossbody block!

Guy Rambo: Fair must’ve felt like she just got hit with a Mack Truck! Fader with the cover...

Fader takes Fair, moves her into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. After Fair is sent into the far corner with an irish whip, Fader comes barreling across he ring before squashing Fair with a corner crossbody, sending Fair slumping down in the corner. Fader steps back towards the center of the ring and starts clapping her hands to get the crowd riled up. The crowd quickly takes their cue from Fader and starts clapping in unison. Fair looks to be in another world as Fader comes charging towards the corner. She hurls herself at Fair with a corner senton. But Fair rolls out onto the apron in the nick of time, causing Fader to crash into the turnbuckles!

Guy Rambo: Nobody was home there!

Stephy Auger: She should have ignored those yokels in the crowd instead of playing up to them!

Fader slowly rolls away from the corner while Fair pulls herself up on the apron using the ropes. When Faders gets back to her feet and turns around, Fair executes a springboard hurricanrana, sending Fader staggering across the ring before falling through the ropes and to the floor. While Fader picks herself up on the outside, Fair turns and hits the far ropes. When she comes back, she picks up speed as she charges forward before leaping through the ropes, taking out Fader with a suicide dive!

Guy Rambo: Fair sends Fader tumbling to the floor with a suicide dive!

Fair pulls herself up using the edge of the apron. After pulling herself up on the apron using the ropes, she waits for Fader to get into position. Once Fader is back to her feet, Fair knocks her right back down with an Asai Moonsault!

Guy Rambo: The high risk pays off again for Fair!

Fair rolls back into the ring. She keeps her eyes locked on Fader on the outside. While Fader starts to pick herself back up, Fair turns and runs into the far ropes. Fair bounces back, runs across the ring and goes for a corkscrew plancha… only for Fader to catch her in mid air! Scarborough then runs across the apron and flips off with a running apron senton onto Fair, causing Fair to land on top of Fader on the floor! The Scarborough Fair take Fader and roll her back inside before Fair slips back in to make the cover.

Scarborough gets tagged back in. The Scarborough Fair take Fader and whip her into the ropes. When Fader returns, Scarborough Fair sets up for a back body drop. Fader sees it coming. So she stops, grabs both members of the Scarborough Fair and brings them down with simultaneous vertical suplexes, resulting in cheers and applause from the crowd!

Guy Rambo: Fader just slammed both members of the Scarborough Fair at the same time with ease!

Stephy Auger: They might be able to out-run Fader. They might even be able to out-strike her. But they can’t match her power.

Fader takes Fair nd whips her into one corner while taking Scarborough and whipping her into the opposite corner. She then rushes over and nails Scarborough with a corner hip attack! While Scarborough crumbles to the mat, Fader charges across the ring and catches Fair with another corner hip attack! Fair takes a step or two from out of the corner before collapsing onto her back. Fader then steps over Fair before climbing up onto the middle ropes. Fader bounces on the middle ropes a couple of times before going for a corner slingshot splash. Fair gets her knees up to counter the move. But Fader is able to overshoot Fair and land on her feet. She then quickly grabs Fair by the ankles and drags her back towards the center of the ring. Fair protests by waving her hands at Fader while Fader looks out at the crowd. The capacity crowd goes wild as they see Fair is set up for the Pull-up Piledriver! Fader then yanks Fair up for the Pull-up Piledriver, only for Fair to counter with a headscissors takeover! Fair then hits the ropes. When she comes back, she sees Fader sitting up. So Fair executes a rolling jackknife pin.

Giles heads over to Fair and hooks his arms around her legs. Giles looks around at the crowd. Once he sees members of the crowd nodding enthusiastically, Giles executes the WEEEEEEEEEE (Giant Swing)! The capacity crowd cheers and counts with each rotation.

Fair slowly gets back to her feet. But she doesn’t remain standing for long as Giles runs up from behind and pulls her down with Rough Housing (O’Connor Roll)!

Guy Rambo: Giles nearly had the GentleGrapplers into the next round. But Fair kicked out in time.

Giles picks up Fair, wrenches her arm and then pulls her up onto his shoulders. He’s got her set up for the Piggy Back Ride (Airplane Spin) when Fair counters with elbows to the side of the head! After slipping down from behind, Fair shoves Giles into the ropes. When Giles returns, Fair lifts him up across her shoulders before delivering the Meteor Hammer (fireman’s carry into a European Uppercut)! After getting caught with the uppercut, Giles drops down to a knee. Fair sees Giles positioning and immediately goes to take advantage by hitting the ropes. When Fair returns, the crowd cheers when she blasts Giles with the Shimmering Witch (Shining Bionic Elbow)! She makes the cover.

Scarborough gets tagged back in. The Scarborough Fair take Giles and whip him into the far ropes. When Giles returns, the crowd cheers when he gets thrown down with a double hip toss before getting crushed with a front dropkick/forearm smash to the back of the head!

After stepping back towards the center of the ring, The Scarborough Fair rush into the corner before knocking Giles down with Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Tree of Woe Tandem Baseball Slide/Hesitation Dropkick)!
The cheers continue as Fair drags Giles from out of the corner before making the cover.

While Fader heads back to the apron, Fair takes Giles and delivers two rolling vertical suplexes. He then gets dragged into the corner before Fair scales the turnbuckles. Once she gets to the top, she goes for a split-legged moonsault! She misses! The crowd cheers when Giles rolls out of the way, causing Fair to hit the canvas!

Guy Rambo: Nobody was home! The aerial assault paid off for Fair earlier in this match. Not this time!

Stephy Auger: Who is going to tag out first!?

Fair rolls away from the corner. Scarborough can be seen with her arm out for the tag. Across the ring, Giles grabs a hold of the bottom rope. He then uses the bottom rope to slowly pull himself across the ring. Fader can be seen in the GentleGrapplers corner slapping the top turnbuckle. She then waves her arm up and down to get the crowd to rally behind The Gentlest Man. Across the ring, Fair turns over into the prone position and starts to pull herself across the mat. Out on the apron, Scarborough bounces up and down on the bottom rope while she waits for the tag. Back on the other side of the ring, Giles continues to use the bottom rope to pull himself over towards his corner. He then reaches over and makes the tag.

Guy Rambo: Fader’s back in!

Stephy Auger:

When Faders gets back in, Fair gets to her feet. She then leaps over and makes the tag out to Scarborough!

Stephy Auger: So is Scarborough!

Fader charges across the ring as Scarborough springboards to the top turnbuckles, leaps off and drives her down with a diving Meteora!

After Fader drops down to a knee, Scarborough knocks her down with a low aimed running big boot!

Guy Rambo: Ethan just leapt nearly halfway across the ring to make that save! This hot crowd here in North Little Rock is loving every second of this one! This is what the Dynamic Duos is all about!

Fair rushes in and catches Giles with a superkick, knocking him through the ropes and to the floor.

Stephy Auger: Giles has been taken out!

Back inside, The Scarborough Fair pull Fader back to her feet. They stand on opposite sides of Fader to set up the Dulcet Duet (Double scream followed by double hair-pull/leg sweep facebuster). After The Scarborough Fair scream into her ears, Fader quickly grabs them both by the hair and slams their heads together with a double noggin knocker! She then turns and hits the ropes. When Fader returns, she gets caught with a double superkick! While Fader is dazed, The Scarborough Fair turn and hit the far ropes. When they come back, Fader brings them both down with simultaneous flapjacks! Fair bounces off the mat and rolls towards the side of the ring. Giles reaches back in, rolls Fair out onto the apron before lifting her across his shoulders. While Giles executes the Piggy Back Ride to Fair on the outside, Fader takes Scarborough and whips her into the ropes. When Scarborough returns, Fader flattens her with the Exocet (running big boot)! She then pulls Scarborough up off the mat and lifts her up across her shoulders. The crowd cheers when Scarborough gets placed in a Torture Rack. The official asks Scarborough if she wants to give up. When Scarborough refuses, Fader responds by slamming her down with the Coventry Blitz (Argentine Powerbomb)! While Scarborough is sprawled out on the mat, Fader lifts up her legs and grabs her by the ankles. She then yanks Scarborough up off the mat before planting her with the Pull-up Piledriver! Piper Lennon the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion is sitting on the floor by a water fountain backstage, Championship belt hanging from her waist and dragging against the floor. She's holding ... some kind of polaroid in her hand, eyeing it closely before finally glancing up at the FGA camera crew.

Piper Lennon: Well neat.

She remarks.

Piper Lennon: I'm a big fan of visualization, of the power of the mind and all that, y'know? Your future is whatever you want it to be and all that jazz.

For as casual as she tries to remain, it's fairly obvious she finds herself to be very profound for that insight.

Piper Lennon: Not to go all Tony Robbins, but I just think the reason a lot of people don't achieve stuff, that they don't get much out of their lives is because they tell themselves they can't. Which is why it makes sense that I was added to this whole main event dealie. Because our little girl robot running things knew, she understood her talent well enough after hearing what I said after Ass Night about not setting limits on myself to realize that if she didn't clear a path for me to do more?

Piper lets a pause hang in the air.

Piper Lennon: Well I was gonna clear it for myself.

Upon that, she tilts the polaroid she's holding revealing ... a picture of herself looking at a picture of a picture of the FGA World Championship-- very meta.

Piper Lennon: So while this whole shindig is exciting, a chance to pick apart and really soak in the stank of all sorts of different contenders this isn't really about any of them in particular. Not about licking the vanilla cream filling Jimmy Edward's made of off my fingers, not that flirtatious son of a gun Evan, not about repainting my experiences with dirty ol' Seth. Not about any of them as a person, it's about putting down as many of them as I have to in order to experience that brave new world where I'm adding another shiny to my collection, where I'm seeing how much boob is too much boob to heart punch through. These are the questions of life gents, these are the questions ...

Guy Rambo: Okay, Stephanie! We are just moments away from the main event. Seven grapplers, two of which are current champions, will be vying for a World Championship match against Fujiko Mine at Above & Beyond VII. The luck of the draw will definitely help the later entrants. But what is your pick? Who do you have?

Stephy Auger: Before we even get to that, I want to know why Dom Harter isn’t in this match! He’s beaten Evan Envi! As much as I love the Chief, if he is in the match then surely Dom should be in it, too.

Guy Rambo: Well, maybe if you had actually bothered to listen to our GM, she explained to Harter that he wasn’t ranked as highly as the other seven competitors using her G.E.R.O.U.X. System. Besides, who wants someone problematic like Dom Harter in a World Title main event in 2019, anyway?

Stephy Auger: I can’t believe you’re condoning this blatant screwing over of Dom Harter!

Guy Rambo: Once again, our GM tried to explain everything to Harter. But because he didn’t get what he wanted handed to him, he thew a fit and stormed out of the office like a child. If he doesn’t like it, he can go and seek employment elsewhere! It’s not like he isn’t wrestling in a half dozen other places, anyway!

Stephy Auger: Hmpf!

Guy Rambo: Enough of this back and forth! Let’s send it to the ring!

Manny Cruz: Ladies and gentlemen, THIS… is your main event of the evening! It is a Gauntlet Match for the number one contendership to the FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Here are the rules. All seven grapplers drew numbers one through seven earlier today. The grapplers who drew numbers one and two will enter first. Only two grappler will be in the ring at once. Eliminations can occur via pinfall, submission, disqualification or countout. Once a participant has been eliminated, the grappler that drew the next number will enter the ring. The match will continue until only one grappler remains standing and he, or she, will challenge Fujiko Mine at Above & Beyond VII for the FGA World Champion! Now, let us find out who drew number one...

The arena lights dim as the instrumental version of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" begins to play. A few moments pass before Piper Lennon ambles out from behind the curtain, pausing at the top of the ramp to survey her surroundings. She zigs and zags, taking her time as she makes her way down the ramp, taking everything in but not paying the fans any particular mind. After circling halfway around the ring, she removes her jacket and camera, leaving them at the timekeeper's area.

Manny Cruz: Introducing first, she is the reigning FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion… PIPER LENNON!

She stops in front of the announce desk, leaning back against it and staring up at the ceiling. Only then does she pick the pace up, lurching forward and sliding under the bottom rope into the ring, then popping up to her feet. She takes her corner, slouching back and drumming her fingers as she waits for the match to begin.

Guy Rambo: Piper wants an experience? Well, she’s gonna have to go through six other grapplers, some of the best on this roster and in this company, if she wants to get to Above & Beyond VII against Fujiko Mine and add another “shiny” to her collection.

Stephy Auger: I think she can. I often listen to Seth Iser when it comes to scouting and he’s mentioned that Lennon is one of the most unpredictable and dangerous elements in all of FGA.

Manny Cruz: Now, let us find out who drew number two!

The lights dim down as the music begins to play. Soon enough, Seth Iser slowly walks through the curtain with that familiar scowl on his face. He starts walking down to the ring...glare etched on his face and listening to the fans boo him.

Guy Rambo: Speak of the devil...

Manny Cruz: Her opponent, the reigning FGA Pride Champion… SETH ISER!

A methodical, slow walk as he cracks his knuckles on the way down before pulling himself up onto the apron and enters the ring calmly before performing a crucifix pose at the center of the ring to revive the lights. He then goes to his corner and slinks to a seat just waiting for the bell to ring.

Guy Rambo: The two champions in this match are out first!

Stephy Auger: Sounds like another Geroux screwjob!

Guy Rambo: Don’t start.

The bell sounds as Lennon charges straight at Iser. The Pride Champion goes to take her head off with a hard right handed punch when Lennon ducks the blow. Iser turns around to face Lennon before throwing out another hard right handed punch. Again, Lennon ducks the blow. She then hits Lennon with a front kick to the brace-wrapped knee. Another kick targets the knee and connects. Lennon then wraps her arms around Iser’s leg before trying to undo the brace.

Guy Rambo: Lennon’s relentlessly going after the leg!

Stephy Auger: What would you like her to do, stand there and trade blows with Seth? Lennon’s smarter than that.


Lennon tries to rip off the brace until Iser cuts her off with an elbow across the back of the head. A second elbow to the back of the head doubles Lennon over until he knocks her down with a Wrestling II Knee Lift! Iser stares down at Lennon with a look of distaste before heading into the ropes. Upon his return, he goes for a knee drop. Lennon rolls out of the way, causing Iser’s knee to hit the mat. Iser tries to get back to his feet. He makes it back to a vertical base. But he doesn’t stay there for long as Lennon is quick to dive in and clip the back of his leg with a chop block!

Guy Rambo: Iser’s down!

Stephy Auger: This isn’t good for Seth. Say he makes it past Lennon. How long will that leg hold up?

Lennon lifts up Iser’s leg and delivers an elbow drop across the knee. The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion rolls back to her feet, lifts up Iser’s leg and delivers another elbow drop across the knee. A third elbow drop is delivered to the knee. Lennon keeps Iser’s leg pinned to the mat while she frantically undoes the knee brace. She then yanks the brace off the knee before chucking it into the aisle.

Guy Rambo: Oh boy.

Stephy Auger: These two have had a contentious past. This won’t help smooth things over in the future.

While Iser turns over and tries to get back to his feet, Lennon rushes over and delivers a low ankle dropkick, sending Iser crumbling down to the mat. Lennon continues to stomp away on the knee before grabbing him by the ankle and dragging him back towards the center of the ring. Lennon sits up Iser and nails him with a soccer kick to the back. Iser lets out a labored grunt when Lennon nails him with another soccer kick to the back. A third soccer kick to the back connects. She then grabs a hold of Iser’s wrist, pulls him over onto his knee and hits him with a soccer kick flurry. Iser’s able to block the the last with his free arm. Iser then gets back to his feet before throwing Lennon down to the mat with a dragon screw leg whip. Iser limps over, pulls Lennon back to her feet by the hair before throwing her back down with another dragon screw leg whip.

Guy Rambo: Iser’s turning the tables and giving Piper a taste of her own medicine!

Lennon rolls away from the limping Iser and out onto the apron. But the Pride Champion stays on her. As he reaches through the ropes to grab Lennon, Lennon reaches up, grabs Iser by the back of the neck with both hands and pulls down, choking him across the middle rope. The official is quick to give Iser until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! F-

Lennon breaks the choke. While Iser turns and limps away to favor his throat, Lennon pulls herself up onto the apron using the ropes. She then reaches down and massages her knee before walking along the apron. The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion then begins to scale the turnbuckles. As soon as Lennon gets a foot on the top turnbuckle, Iser limps over before catching her with a hard right handed punch to the face, stopping her head in her tracks. A second punch to the face rocks Lennon. While Lennon remains dazed, Iser begins to scale the turnbuckles. The crowd gets to their feet when Iser ascends to the middle ropes. He then grabs a hold of Lennon.

Guy Rambo: Seth with a superplex?

Stephy Auger: I don’t Piper will be able to do what Tyler Storm did and superplex him to the floor.

Iser goes for a superplex when Lennon shifts her weight, causing her to crash down across Iser! She hooks the leg.

Guy Rambo: Piper nearly got ‘em.

Lennon takes Iser and goes for an irish whip. The Pride Champion is quick to reverse, sending her into the ropes. When Lennon returns, she slides through Iser’s legs. Or at least she attempts to. Iser reaches down and grabs her by the hair with both hands in time. After Iser slowly pulls Lennon back to her feet, she reaches up and slowly pulls Iser’s hands from off of her. She then grabs a hold of Iser’s finger that she broke awhile back and bends it in the opposite direction, causing the Pride Champion to howl in pain.

Guy Rambo: Lennon’s playing dirty here!

Stephy Auger: This is a chance to challenge for the World Championship! If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying!

Lennon turns her head to the side and looks at Iser while she continues to manipulate the finger. The Pride Champion cringes before doubling Lennon over with a hard kick to the midsection. Iser then pulls Lennon into a front facelock to set up the Rejection DDT. Before he can plant Lennon, she reaches up, grabs the arm, spins out and counters with a gamengiri. While Iser stumbles back, Lennon returns to her feet before hitting the ropes. When Lennon returns, Iser lifts her up and hotshots her across the top rope. Lennon’s neck snaps off the to rope before she falls to the mat. Iser drops down and makes the cover.

Iser takes Lennon and moves her into the corner. From there, Iser goes to work with repeated back elbow strikes to the head. Lennon is then sent into the far corner with an irish whip. Iser reaches down and pats his knee before running as best he can across the ring. Lennon’s able to cut Iser off with a running double axe handle, knocking the Pride Champion back. So Lennon turns and hits the ropes. She returns and connects with another running double axe handle, which knocks Iser even further back. So Lennon rushes back into the ropes for the knockout blow. When she returns, Iser flattens her with a running boot to the face! Lennon gets yanked off by the mat by the hair before being shot back into the ropes. When she returns, she gets flattens with another running boot to the face. But Iser’s not done. He whips Lennon right back into the ropes. He goes for another running big boot when Lennon ducks and continues to run the ropes. When she returns, she leaps up for a leg lariat. But Iser’s able to catch her in the air, turns and throw her down with a spinebuster! He rolls across Lennon and hooks the near leg for the cover.

Iser pulls Lennon up before taking control of the back. He sets the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion up for a German Suplex when Lennon counters with a back elbow to the face. The Pride Champion crawls over, pulls Lennon onto her back and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Seth’s been waiting for this for a long while.

Iser takes Lennon and moves her into the corner. After a stinging knife edge chop is delivered, Iser hoists her up onto the top rope. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, Lennon rakes Iser across the eyes. She then hammers away with a flurry of right hands before shoving Iser off the ropes and to the mat. Once Iser is back to his feet, Lennon climbs down to the middle ropes before hitting a flying knee strike, knocking him down! She makes the cover.

Lennon heads over towards the corner and starts to undo the top turnbuckle pad. She then rips off the bad, exposing the steel turnbuckle.

Guy Rambo: Wait just a darn minute!

Stephy Auger: This is for a shot at the World Championship, Rambo! All bets are off!

Lennon drops the pad in front of the referee. While the official goes to pick up the bad and attach it back to the top turnbuckle, she darts across the ring and starts to undo the middle turnbuckle pad.

Guy Rambo: Lennon’s got the ref preoccupied!

Lennon pulls off the pad to expose the steel turnbuckle. She then tosses the pad to the floor before heading back over to Iser. Lennon slowly brings Iser back to his feet before delivering an irish whip, sending Iser crashing back-first into the corner. Iser lets out a guttural wail when his lower back collides with the exposed steel turnbuckle! While Iser staggers away from the corner, Lennon charges forward and connects with a front dropkick, sending Iser crashing back towards the corner. Iser smacks the back of his head against the middle turnbuckle before falling face-first to the mat!

Guy Rambo: Seth might be knocked out!

Stephy Auger:

Lennon heads over, pulls Iser over onto his back and makes the cover.

He then runs forward and rams her ribs-first into the exposed turnbuckle! Iser pulls Lennon from out of the corner before pushing her off into the ropes. When Lennon returns, Iser scoops her up before slamming her down with the Pillar of Truth (Bossman Slam)! Iser pulls Lennon back to her feet before planting her with the Deprivation DDT! He makes the cover.

Guy Rambo: Seth finishes off Piper with the Deprivation DDT! He’s got the first elimination. But who is next?

The arena's lights dim to black as the opening guitar riffs to "War Machine" by KISS begin to screech over the P.A. system. The video screen lights up with visual static noise. Suddenly in the center of the screen a black handprint begins pulsating to the beat of the drum that has began to play. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp and we see Chris Madison standing with his head bowed under a black towel, wearing an official FGA licensed t-shirt that says, "Always Ready For War," across the chest. He nods his head to the music and as the chorus breaks he rips the towel from his head and tosses it into the live audience, starting his way down the ramp toward, the ring.

Stephy Auger: It’s Chris Madison!

As soon as Madison rolls into the ring, the crowd boos when Iser swarms on him with repeated stomps. He then grabs Madison, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Madison around, Iser rocks him with a flurry of hard right handed punches. Madison then strikes back with a forearm smash. So Iser unleashes another flurry of right hands. Madison answers back with another forearm strike. Iser doubles Madison over with a knee to the midsection before sending him into the far corner with an irish whip. Iser runs as best he can across the ring until Madison counters with a back elbow strike to the head. While Iser stumbles back, Madison comes out of the corner and goes for a Lou Thesz Press. But Iser’s able to catch him in mid air. Iser continues to walk backwards before dropping Madison throat-first across the top rope, bringing him down. Iser then yanks Madison up before chucking him through the ropes and to the floor. The Pride Champion motions for the official to start counting him out. On the outside, Madison can be seen favoring his throat while the official reluctantly counts him out.

Guy Rambo: Iser’s trying to buy himself some time.

Madison pulls up Iser, places him in a Muay Thai Clinch and doubles him over with alternating knees to the midsection. After hooking both arms, Madison lifts Iser up across his shoulder before bringing him down with a Colt45 Backbreaker! Iser can be heard groaning in pain while he arches his back. But Madison is far from done. While Iser slowly turns over on all fours, Madison steps out onto the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. When Madison reaches the top, he leaps off before flattening Iser with a diving double foot stomp across the back! He then pulls Iser over onto his back before stepping back out onto the apron. The cheers continue as Madison scales to the top, jumps off and nails Iser with another diving double foot stomp. This time, to the midsection.

Guy Rambo: Iser’s had his knee worked over. He’s had his finger worked over. He’s still feeling the effects from the superplex at All-Star Showdown. How he is still in this match is beyond me.

Madison takes Iser and whips him into the corner. When Iser returns, Madison lifts him up, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster! He rolls across Iser before hooking the near leg…

Madison takes Iser and goes for an irish whip. Iser reverses, then switches directions as he goes to whip Madison into the exposed turnbuckle. Madison sees it in front of him. So he puts on the brakes by grabbing onto the top ropes and getting his foot on the exposed middle turnbuckle. Iser comes barreling in from behind until Madison knocks him back with another back elbow to the face. Madison then turns around, rushes at Iser and throws out a running yakuza kick. Iser gets his hands up and catches his foot in time! He then swings Madison’s leg away from him, takes control of his back and goes for a belly to back suplex. Madison rolls over the shoulder, lands on his feet and sets up for another backwards roll into a German Suplex. This time, Iser counters with a back elbow to the face. After a second back elbow connects, he follows up with a standing switch before shoving Madison into the ropes. When Madison returns, the crowd boos when Iser turns him inside out with a lariat!

Stephy Auger: There you go, Seth!

Guy Rambo: That lariat just turned the tables for Seth. He desperately needed another break.

Iser heads over and lifts up Madison’s legs. He steps through the legs, crosses them up and goes to turn him over into a Sharpshoot. But Madison is able to use his leg strength to shove Iser off of him, sending Iser back-first into the exposed turnbuckle once again! Iser arches his back in before dropping to his knees and ultimately, down to all fours. Iser slaps the canvas out of frustration before crawling across the mat.

Stephy Auger: OH NO!

Iser slowly pulls himself up using the ropes. The moment he turns around, he gets clotheslined over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd is going wild for Madison while he’s still feeling the effects of the lariat. He zeroes in on Iser and waits patiently for him to get into position. While Iser starts to pick himself up, Madison turns and runs into the far ropes. The crowd rise to their feet as Madison picks up speed while he runs across the ring. He then hurls himself over the top rope to go for his rare High Jump Moonsault… only for Iser to catch him across his shoulder! Gasps are heard from the crowd when Iser runs forward and launches Madison head-first towards steel ring post! The crowd then erupts with boos after Madison collides with the ring post and falls to the floor!

Guy Rambo: Madison’s down! He just got launched head-first into the ring post! He’s gotta be out cold!

Stephy Auger: Get back in, Seth! Let Madison get counted out!

While Madison is sprawled out on the apron, an aching Iser slowly rolls himself back into the ring. He remains on his back while motioning for the ref to count Madison out.

Guy Rambo: Chris Madison made it back into the ring in time! There’s still some fight left in the veteran!

Iser stomps away on Madison until Madison is knocked underneath the bottom rope and out onto the apron. Iser steps out onto the apron and continues to stomp away on Madison. He then applies a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Iser lets go before stepping back towards the ring post. The reigning Pride Champion walks forward before delivering a leg drop on the apron! Iser rolls back inside, drags Madison away from the corner and makes the cover.

Iser takes Madison, moves him into the corner and blasts him with a knife edge chop. A stinging knife edge chop echoes throughout the arena. Iser pulls his arm back before delivering a blistering knife edge chop that doubles Madison over. He then lifts Madison up before placing him down on the top turnbuckle. After scaling up to the middle ropes, Iser grabs a hold of Madison, lifts him up, jumps off and brings him down hard with a superplex! The boos continue as the Pride Champion slowly rolls over and hooks the leg.

Stephy Auger: That superplex should have put Madison away!

Iser picks up Madison and nails him with another knife edge chop. Madison responds with a forearm strike. Iser nails Madison with another knife edge chop. Madison responds with another forearm strike. Iser then catches Madison with a European Uppercut! Madison goes to respond when Iser cuts him off with another European Uppercut! After a third European Uppercut connects, Iser rattles off three jabs before knocking Madison off his feet with a discus clothesline! With Madison sprawled out on the mat, Iser turns and slowly makes his way into the corner.

Stephy Auger: Oh yes! It’s time, Rambo!

The crowd rises to their feet while Iser gingerly steps up onto the bottom rope. He then slowly climbs up onto the middle ropes. The crowd is quickly growing uneasy. They can sense that Iser is moments away from hitting a moonsault and likely eliminating the third participant in this Gauntlet Match. Just as Iser’s about to climb onto the top turnbuckle, Madison scrambles back to his feet, darts into the corner, ducks and lifts Iser up onto his shoulders! Iser’s eyes widen when Madison steps up onto the bottom ropes! The crowd gasps when Madison climbs up onto the middle ropes! Madison then drops Iser off his shoulders, catches him in mid air and throws him down with an electric chair lift dropped into a release German Suplex!!!

Guy Rambo: Avalanche End Game!

After Iser rolls over onto his knees, Madison charges out of the corner and…

*CRACK*

Clobbers him with a bicycle knee strike to the head! The crowd continues to buzz with cheers as he pulls Iser back to his feet, lifts him back up onto his shoulders and drives him down with an End Game! The ref slides into place for the count.

Before “Amazing” can even hit the speakers, Valero bolt down the ramp while the crowd erupts with boos.

Guy Rambo: Valero’s trying to get the jump on Madison!

After Valero rolls in, rushes over and goes for a front dropkick to the knees. But Madison leaps up and catches Valero with a leaping double foot stomp to the chest! Madison pulls Valero back to his feet and whips him into the ropes. When Valero returns, Madison brings him down with a Pop-up Codebreaker! Madison makes the cover.

Instead of complaining over the two count, Madison quickly gets back to his feet, steps out onto the apron and scales the turnbuckles. Once Madison gets to the top, he leaps off for a diving double foot stomp… and misses after Valero rolls out of the way. As soon as Madison lands on his feet, his momentum sends him rolling forward. After Madison rolls back to his feet and turns around, Valero rushes over and sends him flipping down to the mat with a step-up enzuigiri. Valero pulls Madison back to his feet and doubles him over with a boot to the midsection. He then hoists Madison up, runs towards the corner and delivers a Turnbuckle Powerbomb! Madison bounces out of the corner and staggers back over towards Valero, who throws him down with a double underhook backbreaker. He makes the cover.

Valero goes to pull back and hyperextend the arm when Madison reaches over and clasps his hands together. Valero repeatedly tries to break Madison’s grip by yanking back. But it’s to no avail. After Madison turns over onto his knee, the crowd gasps when Madison slowly gets back to his feet before slowly hoisting Valero up off the mat. Madison carries Valero around the ring before slamming him down hard on the mat, breaking the hold! He makes the cover.

After Valero is sent back into the previous corner with an irish whip, Madison runs across the ring to attack when Valero steps out of the corner and counters with an overhead belly to belly suplex into the turnbuckles!

Guy Rambo: That will stop Madison’s momentum dead in its tracks!

Stephy Auger: I know Madison’s tough. He won’t show it. But he was still feeling the effects of that superplex off the top from Iser. Getting launched into the turnbuckles with an overhead belly to belly won’t help matters at all.

Valero pulls up Madison, hooks the leg and thrown him down with a bridging Fisherman Suplex.

Madison then pulls Valero back to his feet before taking control of his back. Madison throws out Comatosed (ripcord rolling elbow) when Valero ducks the elbow, grabs him from behind and tosses hm through the ropes and onto the apron. Valero reaches through the ropes, grabs Madison and pulls him across the middle rope to set up an Elevated DDT. Just before Madison is about to be planted head-first into the mat, he unhooks his legs from the middle ropes, grabs Valero by the legs and lifts him up for a Alabama Slam! Madison tries to bring Valero back towards the center of the ring before slamming him down. But Valero’s able to reach out and grab a hold of the top rope with both hands, blocking the move. After multiple attempts, Madison is able to pull Valero off the ropes before throwing him down with an Alabama Slam!

With Valero down, Madison steps out to the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. As soon as Madison gets one foot on the top turnbuckle, Valero returns to his feet with a kip up and darts into the corner. After grabbing a hold of Madison, the crowd boos when Valero slams him down from the top turnbuckle! Valero then slingshots out to the apron before following up with a springboard leg drop! He turns over and makes the cover.

Madison gets whipped into the far corner before Valero runs across the ring and bashes him with a corner forearm smash! Madison is then whipped back into the previous corner with another irish whip. The Franchise runs across the ring and goes for another corner forearm smash when he misses! The crowd erupts with cheers when Madison slips out of the way, causing Valero to crash into the corner! After taking control of Valero’s back, Madison goes for another backwards roll into a release German Suplex. But Valero’s able to rotate in the air and land on his feet! As Madison turns over and gets back to a vertical base, Valero charges forward before nailing him with Dream Street (jumping corkscrew roundhouse knee to the face)!!! While Madison is sprawled out on the mat, Valero steps out onto the apron, climbs to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and lands on top of him Burying the Hatchet (diving double foot stomp) right to the chest!!! The boos continue as Valero makes the cover.

When Valero gets to the top, he leaps off and sticks Madison with Burying the Hatchet to the midsection! Madison turns over and turns up in pain before Valero pulls him over onto his back to make the cover.

Guy Rambo: Valero is throwing everything in his arsenal at Madison. But Madison will not stay down! He will not quit! You’ve gotta admire the fire of Chris Madison!

Stephy Auger: ...the hell I don’t!

Valero pulls up Madison before lifting him up across his shoulders. Just before Valero’s about to deliver Thy Will Be Done (Ushigroshi), Madison counters with an elbow to the side of the head. Madison hits Valero with another elbow… then another elbow… and another… and another… and another. Madison slips down from behind before slipping of a Sleeper Hold! The crowd cheers when they see Madison trying to pull Valero to sleep.

Stephy Auger: GAH! Ricky! Get out of there!

Guy Rambo: There’s nowhere for him to go but to sleep! It’s only a matter of time!

Valero reaches out for the ropes, but he’s not there. As the official approaches to ask him if he wants to give up, Valero reaches over and grabs the ref’s shirt before pulling him towards him. While the official tries to separate himself from Ricky, Valero takes advantage and low blows Madison with a mule kick, breaking the hold!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Stephy Auger: Genius! That was genius, I tell you!

Guy Rambo: It was CHEAP, that’s what it was!


Madison lets go and doubles over before crumbling to the mat. With the official now free from Valero, he rushes over to check on Madison. He then immediately gets in Valero’s face and asks him if he low blowed Madison. Valero puts his hands up defensively while swearing his innocence.

Guy Rambo: Good! Boo him outta the damn arena!

Valero turns to the crowd and smirks before making the cover.

Valero rips off the pad, exposing the steel turnbuckle underneath. The official demands that Valero give him the turnbuckle pad so he can put it back on. Valero responds by shoving the pad down the front of his tights.

Stephy Auger: Does the ref need someone to retrieve that turnbuckle pad for him?

Guy Rambo: ...I don’t even know what to say anymore...

Valero makes his way back over to Madison before doubling him over with another knee to the midsection. He lifts Madison up onto his shoulders for a Turnbuckle Powerbomb into the exposed corner! Before Valero can complete the move, Madison counters with multiple 12-to-6 elbows to the top of the head! After Madison slips down in front of Valero, he clocks him with a bicycle knee strike right underneath the chin! Valero immediately drops to a seated positon. Madison reaches down, pulls Valero back up, takes control of the back and throws him down with a Sleeper Suplex! Madison grabs Valero by the back of the tights and pulls him back to his feet. He takes control of Valero’s back before blasting him with Comatosed, dropping Valero down to all fours. The crowd erupts with cheers when Madison goes to the mat and locks Valero in the Peruvian Necktie!

Guy Rambo: We’ve seen Madison put many men away with the Peruvian Necktie! Will Valero be added to that list?

Stephy Auger: No no nooooo!

Valero cinches in the hold while Valero howls in pain. The official asks Valero if he wants to give up. Valero refuses by wagging his finger at him. Valero wags his finger again… then again… then again… before quickly tapping out!

Guy Rambo: He will! Valero’s done! So much for an all-Good Guys showdown in the Gauntlet!

Ricky Valero - ELIMINATED

The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar riff, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring.

Guy Rambo: It looks like we’re getting a bit of a rematch from All-Star Showdown VIII!

Stephy Auger: Edwards is walking to the ring with a purpose!

Madison sighs as he picks himself back up and see The Burning Heart approaching the ring. After Edwards rolls back in, he rushes over and tackles Madison to the mat with a double leg takedown! The Burning Heart mounts on top of Madison and rains down hammer fists to the face! The boos continue as he exits the top mount position, positions himself to the side of Madison and delivers repeated knee strikes to the ribs! Madison is pulled back to his feet before getting whipped into the ropes. Edwards catches him off the rebound and slams him down with an STO! Madison remains sprawled out on the mat while Edwards exits to the apron before climbing the turnbuckles.

Guy Rambo: Edwards is going up top! We’ve seen him miss far more than hit from up high! But like you said, Stephanie! This is for a shot at the World Championship! Go big or go home!

Edwards gets to the top, leaps off and connects with a diving headbutt to the ribs! Instead of making the cover, The Burning Heart exits back out to the apron before climbing the turnbuckles again.

Stephy Auger: Rambo, he’s not done!

Guy Rambo: I see! I’m not sure this is wise…

Edwards makes it to the top before jumping off and connecting with a diving headbutt to the chest! Edwards opts out of making the cover and instead, heads into the corner.

Guy Rambo: One more time?

Stephy Auger: One more time!

The capacity crowd boos The Burning Heart as he begins to scale the turnbuckles. Once he makes it to the top, he flips off and crashes down across Madison with a rare moonsault!!! He hooks the leg.

Edwards takes Madison and whips him into the ropes. When Madison returns, Edwards throws him down with a snap powerslam! Madison is then pulled up to a seated position before Edwards hits the ropes. When Edwards returns, he connects with the False Gospel (Feigned VG into a reverse roundhouse kick)! He makes the cover.

Edwards quickly pulls Madison back up to a seated position before hitting the ropes. The Burning Heart picks up speed as he rushes over towards Madison. Edwards throws out the Violent Gospel (Running PK)... and misses after Madison rolls out of the way. When Edwards turns around, Madison gets back to his feet. Edwards approaches him before getting stopped with a bicycle knee strike! While Edwards is stunned, Madison turns him around, takes control of his back and throws out Comatosed. Madison misses after Edwards ducks the blow. The Burning Heart then quickly takes control of Madison back and blasts him across the back of the head with a ripcord backfist!!! Madison immediately drops to the mat! Edwards then drops down to his knees, pulls Madison over onto his back and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Looks like you picked wrong, “Tough” Guy.

Guy Rambo: Well, at least one of us made a pick.

The hypnotic opening of “Bad Dreams” by Phantogram picks up throughout the arena and the lights fade into a cascade of fuschia and crimson.

As the colors play, the beats becomes harsher and invites Izzy Anders onto the stage. She dances around to the beat of the music until she makes to the center point of the stage. Scanning the arena with that Cheshire grin of hers, Izzy takes her time walking down the ramp. When she does, she does it with an egotistical saunter, knowing that she has the audience wrapped around her finger.

Edwards gets back to his feet and waits with anticipation while Anders makes her way to the ring. The Mindkiller rolls into the ring. As soon as Edwards approaches, she rolls back to the outside. Anders pays Edwards no mind while she casually walks around ringside. She then slowly rolls back inside. The moment Edwards begins to approach her, she slowly rolls back out. Anders continues to casually make her way around ringside while Edwards is growing more and more impatiently. He yells at the ref to either force her in the ring or count her out.

Guy Rambo: Edwards can’t get hot. He can’t lose his cool. He’s falling right into Izzy’s trap. He’s playing her game!

The Burning Heart keeps his eyes glued on Anders. Edwards continues to stalk Anders from inside the ring while Anders purposely ignores Edwards from the outside. Anders then stops to point to a random fan in the crowd. With her back turned to Edwards, The Burning Heart decides to run into the far ropes. When he comes back, Anders quickly turns, rolls back in and cuts him off with a European Uppercut! The cheers continue as a second European Uppercut returns Edwards to the mat. After Edwards returns to a vertical base, Anders greets him with a boot to the midsection before cupping him by the back of the neck, running towards the side of the ring and tossing him through the ropes and to the floor. While Edwards gets up on the outside, Anders bounces off the near ropes before running towards the far ropes. When The Mindkiller comes back, she executes a Tranquilo Roll in the center of the ring and poses, resulting in cheers and applause from the crowd.

Stephy Auger: Edwards is about to rage!

Edwards has had enough of this! So she slides back into the ring. He grabs a hold of Andes’ leg and tries for a Heel Hook. But Anders uses her free leg to push him off of her, sending Edwards to the mat. After both grapplers return to a vertical base, Anders takes Edwards and moves him back into the corner. From there, Anders hits Edwards with a knife edge chop before throwing out a flurry of European Uppercuts. While Edwards is rocked from the uppercuts, Anders responds with a pieface. Insulted, Edwards grabs Anders, tosses her into the corner and throws out a forearm smash. But Anders ducks and goes behind him. When Edwards turns around, Anders pushes him into the corner and follows up with a Stockton Slap! When Edwards slowly turns back to Anders, The Mindkiller whacks him with another Stockton Slap across the face! Enraged, Edwards grabs Anders by the throat with both hands and tosses her into the corner. The Burning Heart throws out another forearm smash. But again, Anders easily ducks. When Edwards turns around, the crowd cheers when Anders spits right in his face!

Guy Rambo: Hoo boy...

The Mindkiller quickly takes Edwards by the wrist and whips him into the far corner. Anders runs across the ring to follow up with an attack when Edwards charges out of the corner and turns her inside out with a lariat!

Guy Rambo: My GOD what a lariat!

Stephy Auger: You think he was trying to take her head off there?


Anders pushes herself up on all fours. She tries to get up until Edwards darts over and unloads with multiple knees to the ribs! He then yanks Anders up by the hair, marches into the corner and repeatedly slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then wraps his arm around Anders’ neck before executing a Headlock Driver! Instead of making the cover, Edwards yanks up Anders, turns and tosses her through the ropes and onto the apron. Edwards steps out onto the apron and puts the boots to Anders before pulling her back up. The crowd gasps when he lifts Anders up across his shoulders. He’s got her set up for a Death Valley Driver on the apron. Before Edwards can deliver the move, Anders counters with an elbow to the side of the head. After slipping back down into the ring, Anders follows up with a roundhouse kick to the back of the head, knocking Edwards off the apron and to the floor. The Mindkiller then steps back out onto the apron and crouches down while she waits for him to get back up. Edwards attempts to shake off the blow before picking himself back up. The moment Edwards turns around, Anders runs across the apron before jumping off and knocking him down with a diving corkscrew European Uppercut!

The Mindkiller takes Edwards and rolls him back inside. After rolling back inside, she sees Edwards turning over onto a knee. Before Edwards can get back to a vertical base, Anders runs over and flattens him with the HEADBOOT (Shining Yakuza Kick)! She makes the cover.

The Mindkiller charges across the ring before connecting with a running European Uppercut. She then pulls Edwards out of the corner before doubling him over with a kick to the midsection. She sets him up for a Running Liger Bomb. But before she can lift Edwards up, Edwards counters with a back body drop. He then pulls Anders back up and whips her into the ropes. When Anders returns, Edwards goes for a leaping double foot stomp. But Anders ducks before continuing to run the ropes. When Edwards lands on his feet and turns around, he catches a running big boot just in time. He then goes to swing Anders’ leg away from him when Anders uses the moment to spin back around and whack him across the face with another Stockton Slap! Edwards stumbles back a step or two from the slap before dropping down to a knee. The Mindkiller then points to a random fan before turning to hit the ropes. When Anders comes back, she picks up speed before flattening him with A Gift For You (Running PK)! Anders pulls Edwards back up to a seated position and points to another random fan in the crowd before hitting the ropes. Anders bounces off the ropes, runs past Edwards and continues to run the ropes. The Mindkiller bounces off the far ropes, comes back and nearly kicks Edwards’ head off with A Gift For You! She drops down and makes the cover.

While Anders slowly pulls Edwards up off the mat, Edwards quickly ducks and lifts Anders up across his shoulders. The Mindkiller tries to elbow her way out. The Burning Heart picks up Anders before whipping her hard into the corner with the exposed turnbuckles. The crowd gasps when Anders crashes sternum-first into the exposed top turnbuckle. The Mindkiller stumbles back before Edwards throws her down with a reverse snap powerslam! Edwards slowly pulls Anders up off the mat by the hair before planting her with the Foxfire (fisherman brainbuster)! He makes the cover.

Edwards pulls up Anders and delivering alternating open palm strikes! He then pulls Anders into a clinch before delivering knees to the head! He then turns The Mindkiller away from him, takes control of her back and leaves her folded up on the mat with the Half Cut (half nelson suplex)! He pushes Anders over onto her back before making the cover.

Stephy Auger: I’m shocked that wasn’t a three count!

Edwards pulls Anders up and doubles her over with a knee to the midsection. He then hoists her up for a gutwrench powerbomb when The Mindkiller counters with a flurry of punches to the top of the head. After dropping down in front of Edwards, Anders scoops him up across her shoulder. The crowd cheers as The Mindkiller turns, runs across the ring and launches Edwards into the corner with a Lawn Dart, sending him face-first into the exposed top turnbuckle!

Guy Rambo: Edwards used that exposed turnbuckle against Izzy. Now, she returns the favor!

Anders grabs Edwards, places him in a front facelock and drags him towards the center of the ring. She then plants him with the Three Enemigos (three rolling DDTs)! The Mindkiller turns over, pulls Edwards back to his feet, lifts him up and throws him down with the Shotgun Party II (Ki Krusher)! The ref slides into place for the cover.

The familiar, frantic instrumental slams into the PA system, drawing a near-unanimous chorus of boos from the crowd. Multi-colored strobes dance throughout the arena as the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” blares throughout the arena. Upon the first hint of vocals, Evan Envi steps through the curtains, onto the ramp, his signature jacket thrown on, hood pulled up over his head, slightly obscuring the view of his face. He takes a few steps forward, nodding a bit as he surveys the raucous crowd. Evan pulls his hood back, sneering out into the audience before walking forward, raising his signature Double V’s high into the air, glaring toward the ring as he makes his way down the ramp.

Anders readies herself for Envi as the Chief approaches the ring. Envi steps up onto the apron before slowly entering through the ropes. Envi and Anders head towards the center of the ring. Words are exchanged while the two stare each other down.

Guy Rambo: THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT RIGHT HERE! A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT Above & Beyond VII HANGS IN THE BALANCE! BOTH OF THESE COMPETITORS HAVE LONG, STORIED HISTORIES WITH THE CHAMPION, FUJIKO MINE! BOTH HAVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS! BOTH ARE DESPERATE FOR THE WIN! BOTH ARE DESPERATE TO BECOME WORLD CHAMPION ONCE AGAIN! IZZY FOR THE SECOND TIME; ENVI FOR A RECORD-TYING THIRD TIME AS A HOLDER OF THE FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BELT!

Anders tries to catch Envi off guard with a Stockton Slap. But the Chief is ready. Envi blocks the slap before answering back with an uppercut! A second uppercut knocks Anders back! Envi goes over, grabs Anders and whips her into the ropes. When The Mindkiller returns, Envi knocks her down with a pop-up elbow strike! He makes the cover.

Envi picks up Anders and brings her down with a snap suplex. He then drags Anders into position before stepping out onto the apron. The Chief goes for a slingshot elbow drop to the back when Anders rolls out of the way, causing Envi’s elbow to hit the mat. While Envi sits up and guards his elbow, Anders returns to her feet and points to another random fan before hitting the ropes. When Anders returns, she throws out A Gift For You! At the last second, Anders whiffs when Envi rolls out onto the apron. After Envi pulls himself up, he goes to catch Anders with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But The Mindkiller is able to catch him in a front facelock! She then drags Envi back into the ring through the ropes before going for the Three Enemigos! She plants him with the first DDT! Anders delivers the second DDT!! After pulling Envi back up, the Chief reaches up, grabs Anders’ arm, spins out of the hold, takes control of Anders’ back and then throws her down with a Lifting Cobra Clutch Bomb! He makes the cover.

Before she returned last year and carried Fujiko to a Dynamic Duos win, The Mindkiller was THE dominant figure here in FGA as the Undisputed Champion! She beat Cordy Stevenson! She beat Johnny Karma! She was THE MAN! You think she wouldn’t want to get back to that status again?

Envi takes Anders, moves her into the corner and delivers a knife edge chop, followed by a European Uppercut. The Chief connects with another knife edge chop, followed by another European Uppercut. Envi then unleashes rapid, alternating knife edge chops and European Uppercuts! Some members of the crowd “WOO” after each strike. After Anders is whipped into the far corner, Envi runs across the ring to attack when Anders cuts him off with a running European Uppercut out of the corner! While Envi is dazed, Anders turns and hits the ropes. When she returns, she sees Envi running past her into the ropes. So she stops. When Envi returns, he sees Anders running past him into the ropes. So he slams on the brakes. When Envi turns around, he knocks Anders off her feet with a Kapowski Kick (quick, standing spinning heel kick)! He makes the cover.

Guy Rambo: Izzy nearly got knocked into next week with that Kapowski Kick! But it only garners a two count. We are coming to you LIVE here tonight from the Verizon Arena here in North Little Rock, Arkansas! We are in the final stretch of this main event Gauntlet Match! We know the FGA World Champion Fujiko Mine is watching intently backstage as either Anders or Envi will be challenging her for her World Championship at Above & Beyond VII!

Envi takes Anders and whips her back into the ropes. When Anders returns, Envi throws her down with a belly to belly suplex. While Anders is sprawled out on the mat, the Chief marches across the ring before stepping out onto the apron. The crowd stands up when he grips the top rope with both hands.

Guy Rambo: Envi’s gearing up for it!

Stephy Auger: Helter Skelter time!

The crowd gasps when Envi goes for Helter Skelter (long-range springboard 450). The Mindkiller is able to roll out of the way! Instead of crashing on the mat, Envi lands on his feet before his momentum sends him rolling forward. Envi pulls himself up near the ropes. When he turns around, he sees Anders charging in for an attack. So he ducks and dumps her over the top rope and to the floor! While The Mindkiller tries to pick herself up on the outside, Envi turns and hits the far ropes. The Chief picks up speed as he runs across the ring. He then leaps through the ropes and knocks Anders down with a suicide European Uppercut! Envi takes Anders and slams her face-first onto the mat before pushing her back into the ring. He then walks along the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. The moment he gets to the top turnbuckle, he leaps off for a Frog Splash! Anders counters by getting her knees up! Instead of letting Envi bounce off her knees, Anders reaches up and holds Envi in place before rolling over into a modified small package.

The Mindkiller slowly pulls Envi back to his feet. She then takes control of his arm, wrenches it and then delivers an armbreaker across her shoulder. Envi howls in pain while he staggers over into the ropes. Anders walks up from behind, grabs him by the back of the tights and pulls him back towards the center of the ring. After taking control of his back, Anders throws out the Black Song (hammerlock lariat). Envi ducks, hooks Anders and throws her down with a Uranage! While Anders is sprawled out on the apron, Envi heads over towards the corner and starts to scale the turnbuckles. Once Envi gets to the top, he closes his eyes before flipping off for The Classics (diving moonsault)! Anders is again able to roll out of the way! Instead of crashing on the mat, Envi’s able to land on his feet. As Anders tries to get back to her feet, Envi rushes over and executes a running step-up hurricanrana, sending Anders through the ropes and back to the floor. When Anders picks herself up off the floor, the Chief turns and hits the far ropes. Envi comes back and goes for another suicide dive through the ropes. But Anders cuts him off with a jumping European Uppercut, knocking Envi back into the ring!

Guy Rambo: The Mindkiller had him scouted that time!

Envi reaches up and gingerly touches his face while he moves his jaw around. On the outside, The Mindkiller pulls herself up onto the apron using the ropes. She then begins to climb the turnbuckles. The Chief then quickly scrambles back to his feet, rushes into the corner and runs up to the middle ropes. He cuts Anders off with a forearm strike. Anders answers back with a European Uppercut. Envi then responds with a European Uppercut of his own. Anders hits him with another European Uppercut. Envi answers back with a European Uppercut of his own. The Mindkiller then whacks Envi across the face with a Stockton Slap! A second Stockton Slap knocks Envi off the ropes and down to the mat! Anders leans forward and rests her palm on the top turnbuckle. When Anders gets her second wind, she slowly stands back up. As she places one foot on the top turnbuckle, the crowd gasps when Envi returns to a vertical base with a kip up. The Chief then leaps straight up to the top ropes, grabs Anders and throws her down with an avalanche Saito Suplex!!!

The crowd responds with cheers and applause while Anders and Envi remain on the mat.

The Chief takes control of her back and lifts her up for another German Suplex. On the way up, Anders hits him with a back elbow to the face. Once she gets lowered, she hits Envi with another back elbow. Once the waist lock is broken, Anders performs a standing switch before knocking Envi down with the Black Song! Anders pulls Envi up and doubles him over with a knee strike to the midsection. She goes to lift Envi up for a Running Liger Bomb when Envi counters by lifting her up and throwing her down with an Alabama Slam! Envi drops to his knees before falling forward and draping his arm across Anders’s chest for the cover.

Envi picks up Anders and moves her into the corner. He lifts Anders up before sitting her down on the top turnbuckle facing away from the ring. The Chief climbs up onto the middle ropes. He then shakes his head sideways before stepping up onto the top rope, which gets a collective gasp from the crowd.

Guy Rambo: What is this Chief doing!?

Stephy Auger: Going for broke!

After Envi pulls Anders up into position, he takes control of her back. Envi goes for an avalanche German Suplex!!! Anders is able to rotate and land on her feet before stumbling several steps back! Envi gets to his feet, rushes over towards Anders and goes for another step-up hurricanrana. Anders takes Envi and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Envi around, Anders sends him slumping down in the corner with MUDA MUDA MUDA (machine gun punches)! Envi gets pulled back to his feet before getting pulled out of the corner. Anders lifts Envi up across her shoulders before bringing him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! The Mindkiller pulls Envi back up, lifts him up and plants him with the Aniplex (cutthroat brainbuster)! The capacity crowd continues to cheer as Anders pulls Envi back to his feet. She lifts Envi up before driving him down with the Shotgun Party II!

The crowd erupts with applause Envi kicks out!

Guy Rambo: Envi’s hanging on by a thread! He’s not giving up just yet!

Stephy Auger: Come on, Chief! Do this for Ricky! Do it for me!

Anders picks up Envi and slowly hooks his arms from behind. She goes for a Dragon Suplex when Envi counters with a wheelbarrow victory roll. Instead of staying seated for the cover, Envi leaps up and delivers a jumping double foot stomp to the midsection! While Anders is still down, Envi staggers across the ring before stepping out onto the apron. The crowd gasps when Envi goes for Helter Skelter… then erupts with cheers when Anders rolls out of the way, causing Envi to crash onto the canvas!

Guy Rambo: ENVI MISSED! THE CHIEF CRASHES HARD TO THE MAT!

Anders slowly pulls Envi back up to his feet. The Mindkiller lifts him up onto his shoulders and motions for a lawn dart. Envi’s able to slip down from behind before shoving Anders into the ropes. When Anders returns, the crowd erupts with cheers when The Mindkiller clocks Envi with The Capetown Sunset (540 Kick)! She makes the cover.
