“FU-JI-KO!”
The arena is suddenly plunged into darkness, drawing
massive cheers from the crowd.
A guitar riff slowly rumbles through the arena, growing louder and louder until the crowd can almost feel the arena itself starting to rumble.
An electric guitar riff launches into “Sakura” (Cherry Blossoms) rings out through the arena, causing the crowd to cheer loudly! The song slows down...transitioning to the smooth, funky beat of Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody.” The crowd gets fully into it, clapping along to the beat.
Captured effortlessly
That's the way it was
Happened so naturally
I did not know it was love
The next thing I felt was you
Holding me close
What was I gonna do?
I let myself goOn beat, the curtain parts and Fujiko is launched through, her arms back and her hair whipping around as she lands in a crouch to an explosion of cheers through Fiserv Forum. The crowd catches sight of a “If Fujiko loses, we riot” sign in the crowd. The place is coming unglued as the hometown hero slowly raises her head, a cream and green version of her attire wrapped around her form. In the Brewers script, the her name is written along her left leg. She exits the crouch, grooving along to the music.
Kris Cruise: For the second time tonight, this hometown crowd is getting to see Fujiko Mine compete; This time for the FGA World championship!
Stephy Auger: This is disgusting, Kris. Evan should not have to tolerate this!
Kris Cruise: Well, then it’s safe to say he has Ricky to blame. There’s a chance he could have avoided this situation tonight…
Stephy Auger: Of course, because…
Kris Cruise: Since he would have likely lost to Fujiko via submission at Revelations if not for Valero.
Stephy Auger: UGH!
I've been waitin' for you
It's been so long
I knew just what I would do
When I heard your song
Filled my heart with your bliss
Gave me freedom
You knew I could not resist
I needed someone
Fujiko makes her way to the ring quickly, soaking in the admiration from her hometown crowd. She is practically glowing as she jumps up onto the apron.
And now we're flyin' through the stars
I hope this night lasts forever
Oh oh oh oh!
As the chorus of the song finally arrives, Fujiko raises her arms in the air and the Milwaukee faithful tosses streamers around and over her outstretched form.
Ain't nobody (nobody)
Loves me better (loves me better)
Makes me happy
Makes me feel this way (nobody)
Ain't nobody (ain't nobody)
Loves me better than you!
Fujiko carefully makes her way off the top turnbuckle, removing the streamers from her person as she does so.
Kris Cruise: This crowd is completely behind Fujiko here!
Stephy Auger: I can’t wait to leave this place. I’ll be the happiest seeing all these people get salty when Evan retains!
Fujiko looks out at the arena surrounding her, tears in her eyes. She nods and mouths “I’ll do you proud” as she does so. She then exhales hard, and looks out towards the entrance ramp as she awaits The Chief. In contrast to the entrance beforehand, the lights in the arena steadily grow brighter.
Stephy Auger: Hope you brought shades, Cruise!
Almost as if pulsating, a drumbeat circulates throughout the arena. Many fans begin to grow restless as the lights continue to grow brighter, until every available light in the arena has been apparently turned on, reaching their full capacity. The drumbeat cascades into the familia opening of the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter”, drawing a deep chorus of boos from the hostile crowd.
Kris Cruise: I don’t know why the lights are necessary-- but here comes the FGA World Champion, and that might be the last time we introduce him as such!
Stephy Auger: Calm it down.
The lights return to normal as a singular spotlight shines over the stage, revealing the Chief as he steps onto the top of the ramp. The boos in the arena intensify upon seeing him-- decked out in a black-and-red basketball jersey, sporting “FGA GRAPPLERS” on the front-- though in the style of the Toronto Raptors. He sports black long tights, the name “HARRISON” written down the right leg in white, outlined in red, while the left leg features the illustration of three red, velociraptor claw marks.
Kris Cruise: Evan Envi joining us in uh… Toronto Raptors colors. Fitting. Very fitting.
Stephy Auger: This is already enemy territory. Why not come out here and make a statement?!
Envi marches down the ramp, arms out to his side, giving full display to the FGA Word Championship around his waist. As the camera catches him from behind, we see that the back of the jersey states “CHIEF” above the number “47.” Envi pauses at the bottom of the ramp lifting his signature double “V”s in the air before marching up the stairs, and proceeding to march up the turnbuckles like a staircase, pausing at the top, double peace-signs raised high above his head. He turns toward Fujiko, a cold calm on the face of the Chief before he steps over the turnbuckles and drops down into the ring. He unhooks the World Title from his waist and walks toward the ropes, holding it high above his head, closing his eyes, taking in the deep, negative reaction from the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Hostile. Territory.
Stephy Auger: You think?!
Envi backs into the corner as his music fades, sighing as he looks across the ring at Fujiko Mine.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is your MAIN EVENT of the evening, and is for the Frontier Grappling Arts WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! introducing first, the challenger, from MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN!!!
The crowd explodes again. Fujiko hops in place, shaking out the nerves as she stares out at the sea of people in the sold out Fiserv Forum.
J.A. Aldridge: ...She is one half of the United States Tag team champions... the Apex Goddess…. Fujikoooooooo MIIIIIIINEE!!
Fujiko raises her arms slowly as her name is announced.

J.A. Aldridge: ...And her opponent…
Scattered boos begin to resonate throughout the audience as Envi bounces from foot to foot, head lowered, belt gripped in both hands.
J.A. Aldridge: ...hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, representing the “Good Guys”, he is the reigning FGA WOOOOOORRRRLD CHAMPION… “The Chief” EVAAAAAN ENNNNNVIIIIIII!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Envi steps forward into the light, staring back out into the lively audience with a glare, World Title held high above his head. He seems to ignore the deafening jeering of the audience, turning around to give Fujiko a similar glare over his shoulder.
Stephy Auger: Does that look like a man that’s frightened? Does that look like a man that’s incapable?!
Kris Cruise: Evan Envi is putting on a brave front, but history is history. Evan Envi has struggled against Fujiko Mine in the win columnm, and we’re talking
legitimate, meaningful victor--
Stephy Auger: Oh, stop. Stop it.
Envi finally hands the World Title off to the ref, who displays it to each section of the audience as the lights return to normal, showing the world what the two Grapplers in the ring are fighting for.
Kris Cruise: And that right there is what it’s all about. Can Fujiko wrestle the World Title away from the Chief in front of an audience jam-packed with members of her hometown?!
As the bell rings, Fujiko doesn’t make a move. She continues to stare across the ring at Evan, who appears to be making his move towards her to begin the match. Evan’s act of moving is enough for the crowd.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
The reaction stops Evan, and brings a smile to the face of Fujiko. She rewards them by taking a step in herself.
“YEEEEAAAHHHH!”
She smirks, not at Evan, but for the crowd. They cheer loudly, which causes Evan to scowl a bit.
The referee motions for the action to begin, but Fujiko takes her time with engaging the World champion.
Stephy Auger: Fuji-water wanted this match so badly, and now that it’s here, she’s not moving! She can forfeit if she really wants. It’s what’s right for the Chief!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko had to defend the United States tag team championships earlier in the night, which ended with Silk & Cyanide interfering for a no-contest. She’s likely going to be more tactical about her approach in this match.
Stephy Auger: Serves them right for ducking the former champions! Their win at Revelations was a fluke!
Kris Cruise: I wholeheartedly disagree. As our GM said, they’ve been scheming since they arrived on Vertigo!
Evan approaches, and it’s all it takes for Fujiko to swoop around him, locking her arms and tossing the surprised Evan with a German suplex! He goes tumbling into the opposite corner, and Fujiko advances, throwing kicks at his head and chest to the roar of the crowd! Evan does his best to cover up, but Fujiko dodges his guard, mixing in a few forearm shots to really daze Evan. She then steps out, yelling out to the crowd. She then points at Evan, and charges in, crushing him with a cannonball senton. She then drags him out of the corner and covers him.

Kickout!
She nods as Evan pushes her off of him. He tries to get to his feet, but Fujiko shoots on him and puts another rear waistlock on him. Envi flails, but as he reaches his feet, Fujiko drives him to the mat with another German Suplex! He rolls through and staggers to his feet, but Fujiko springs to her feet and follows up with a Running Front Dropkick that sends the Chief tumbling through the ropes, out to the apron!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko is wasting absolutely no time!
Fujiko steps up on the ropes, playing to the crowd as Evan tries to make a recovery on the outside. Envi rubs at his jaw, pacing the outside of the ring for a moment, shaking his head. Fujiko suddenly slingshots herself over the ropes, prompting Envi to slide into the ring, rolling to the center. Fujiko turns, smirking at him from the apron-- before she leaps up onto the top rope, preparing to springboard toward the Chief! Envi hits the mat and rolls to the outside on the opposite side of the ring as Fujiko drops down to the inside.
Kris Cruise: And now the World Champion wants nothing to do with the challenger!
Stephy Auger: Fujiko’s flying all over the place, complete disregard for her safety, Evan’s safety, the front row’s safety-- I don’t blame the Chief one bit!
Envi paces the outside of the ring, yelling for the referee to back Fujiko up. The referee turns to the challenger, apparently intent on asking her to move away from the ropes--
Kris Cruise: Look!
Envi races into the ring, sliding under the bottom rope through the adjacent side! Fujiko moves the referee out of the way and goes to intercept, but Envi tackles her to the ground with a double-leg takedown! He rolls over Fujiko, gripping both legs for a jackknife pin! The disoriented ref turns around and spots the cover, finally dropping down to make a count!

He goes for an Irish Whip, but the challenger reverses, sending Envi into the ropes. Envi rebounds as Fujiko leaps into the air, snapping him to the mat with a Hurricanrana! The audience erupts as Fujiko tucks Envi’s legs for a rana-style pin, seated on his shoulders!

Fujiko wrenches one foot free and brings it back, delivering a stomp right to the jaw of the Chief! Envi breaks the pin, flailing back to the canvas. Fujiko rolls to her feet and shoots the ropes. As Envi climbs to his hands and knees, Fujiko flattens him with a Running Shooting Star Press to the spine! She forces him over onto his back for a cover, but Envi continues to roll away, forcing Fujiko to climb to her feet and follow after him. Fujiko strides forward and reaches down-- but Envi turns himself onto his back and grapevines Fujiko’s outstretched arm, bringing her toward the ground!
Kris Cruise: Envi’s looking for the BPA! Fujiko, I think, realized her error as soon as she reached her hand out, but it’s too late, and the Chief is looking to lock it in!
Stephy Auger: And that’s why he’s on top, Cruise. He’s dangerous whether he’s on his feet, in the air, or on the mat!
Fujiko shoulder-rolls through in an attempt to force Envi to relinquish the Crossface attempt, but Envi shifts his weight again as Fujiko flips and transitions into a Cross Armbar! Fujiko arches her back, immediately caught in the hold. She hisses in pain, reaching her legs out to the ropes, which lie just out of reach! The crowd grows loud, immediately willing Mine out of the hold, but Envi wrenches it, grunting as he tries to pull Fujiko’s arm at more and more of an angle!
Stephy Auger: Just let it go! There’s no shame in tapping out to greatness!
Fujiko clenches her jaw, pulling herself and Envi closer… closer… and finally throws her boot over the bottom rope. The ref pressures Envi to break the Cross Armbar, initiating a five count.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! F…
Envi releases the hold, but quickly rolls to his feet and yanks Fujiko upright by her targeted left arm. Fujiko strikes Envi with a wild right forearm, reeling the Chief, but he wrenches her arm and takes her to the mat with a hook kick across the throat! Fujiko staggers into the ropes and rebounds into a Hip Toss! Envi maintains a hold of Fujiko’s arm and steps over, hooking her neck to roll through into a cradle pin!

Fujiko kicks out of the hold, but again, Envi maintains a hold of the wrist-- though this time, Fujiko pulls herself up using Envi’s weight and steps up onto his knee before throwing herself back down to take the Chief to the mat with a Monkey Flip! Envi refuses to release his grip, so Fujiko back-rolls over into a full mount, using her free arm to rain vicious forearms down onto the head and face of the World Champion! Envi covers up, letting go of Fujiko, and she alternates between rights and lefts, smashing into Evan with forearms and elbows!
Kris Cruise: And look at Fujiko go!
The audience erupts at the display until Fujiko rises to her feet, screaming back into the raucous crowd. She turns her attention back to Evan…
...who springs to his feet and leaps into the air, grabbing the left arm of Fujiko-- and nailing a Double-Knee Armbreaker! Fujiko howls out in pain and staggers up to her feet as Envi rolls to his. The Chief measures the challenger before delivering a roundhouse kick to her shoulder! Fujiko stumbles back into the ropes and Envi follows up with a Super Kick under the jaw! Fujiko slumps against the ropes and Envi rips her away, driving her to the mat with a Ura-Nage! He hooks both legs and shout for the official to count!

THR--!
Fujiko kicks out emphatically to a roar from the audience! Evan reaches out for her arm, but Fujiko fires off with a hard slap to the jaw, sending spit flying from Envi’s mouth to the delight of the crowd as he falls to a seated position. She tries to work some feeling back into her arm, but Evan kicks at her elbow. She grimaces in pain, and Evan takes the opportunity to grab her wrist and twist, forcing her to grab at her shoulder in pain. Evan pulls at her arm, stressing out her muscles and drawing a groan from the Inescapable. He turns her wrist again, and then spins, forcing Fujiko to slam into the mat. He then turns her over and makes a cover, this time making a point to force her to lift the affected left shoulder off the mat.

Fujiko forces her hurt shoulder off the mat, obvious discomfort evident on her face. Evan abandons the cover, and drops a knee across her left arm. She groans and tries to protect it, but Evan smells blood and preps behind her. As she gets up to a knee, Evan runs by and hits her with a running cutter! He then stands and throws up the double Vs to the crowd, causing boos to rain down on him.
“EVAN SUCKS!”
“EVAN SUCKS!”
“EVAN SUCKS!”
“EVAN SUCKS!!”
Evan grins as he looks out at the Milwaukee crowd. He then turns back towards Fujiko, and drags her to her feet, making sure that he’s using her left arm to do so. She tries to resist, but Evan gives it another sharp tug before backing up towards the nearest turnbuckle. He then steps through the ropes, and yanks, pulling Fujiko shoulder first into the turnbuckle. She bounces away from it and lands on the mat, clutching at her arm.
Stephy Auger: YES! The Chief is back in full control!
Kris Cruise: Evan has found himself a target to focus on. Some would say he’s had the advantage with Fujiko having wrestled once tonight, but…
Stephy Auger: Here you go preemptively making excuses! You’re just upset because Fujiko is going to lose and be the laughingstock of the town!

KICKOUT!
The crowd groans as Evan is able to escape the pin attempt.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko not quite able to lock her hands to hold onto Evan in that small package!
She pushes herself to her feet, just barely ducking out of the way of an Envi chop. She propels herself off the ropes, ducking a clothesline from Evan. She quickly changes direction, throwing Evan off. He turns to find her only to be caught with a dropkick that sends him reeling! He charges her only to get caught with another! She then prepares herself to hop up on his shoulders for a hurricanrana, but Evan stops her, adjusts, and then plants her with a sit-out powerbomb! The referee slides into position to make a count, but Envi grabs a hold of Fujiko’s ankles as he climbs back up to his feet. Envi steps through Fujiko’s legs for a half-turned Sharpshooter, before grabbing her left wrist, pulling Fujiko off the mat at an awkward ankle with his free hand, suspending the challenger inches above the mat in the hold!
Kris Cruise: Evan Envi has-- some sort of cross between the Sharpshooter and a Chickenwing locked on Fujiko, and the number one contender is an all kinds of trouble!
Stephy Auger: The Chief just busted out a Scorpion Crosslock and he’s gonna pull Fujiko’s arm right out of socket! Good! Rip it off and beat every naysayer in here with it!
Fujiko cries out, reaching out for anything tangible, but the ropes are several feet away in any direction. She reaches her right arm back, putting it in the face of the Chief-- but she shrieks as Envi bites down on her thumb! Boos resonate through the crowd and the referee scolds Envi, but the Chief responds by shouting
“keep her hands out of my face then!” And with that, he moves his right hand off of Fujiko’s foot and to her right arm, pulling back, transitioning the hold into a double chickenwing! Fujiko shrieks out, but quickly bites her tongue, shaking her head as the ref asks if she’ll submit.
Kris Cruise: The World Champion isn’t playing games tonight, nor should he. We’ve seen that Fujiko is fully capable of defeating Envi, and one wrong move-- it could become a reality right here in the Fiserv Forum! Oh-- look!
To the delight of her hometown crowd, Fujiko manages to untangle one, and then both of her legs from Envi’s, but before she can capitalize, Envi drives her to the canvas with a Double Chickenwing Suplex! Unable to maintain the bridge, Envi forces Fujiko onto her back, hooking both legs for a deep cover!

Stephy Auger: That’s it, Chief. Put her away! She doesn’t know where she’s at! She doesn’t know which day it is! You got this!
Favoring her arm, Fujiko gingerly makes her way to her feet. She locks eyes with Envi right as he flies off the top, looking for a Senton Bomb-- and Fujiko rushes forward, performing a handspring Enzuigiri to knock Envi out of the air with a
CRACK! that echoes through the arena! Fujiko howls in pain as she puts the weight on her left arm, but Envi is silent as he thuds to the mat, motionless!
Stephy Auger: CHIEF, NO! GOD!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine just blasted Evan Envi out of the air! Evan is out! But Fujiko is in excruciating pain right now. Her arm completely buckled when she did that handspring--
Stephy Auger: She’s a showoff! She’s showing off for these people and any injury she walks away with is completely on her!
Chants of

A collective sigh of relief washes over the audience as Fujiko rolls out of the move-- to be replaced with gasps and cheers as Fujiko delivers a spinning back kick, catching the Chief across the jaw! She wastes no time rushing the ropes, hitting a hands-free Asai Moonsault across the ribs of the World Champion! Evan coughs for air, staggering to the corner while Fujiko continues to massage her arm, pulling herself up in the opposite corner. Evan takes a breath and charges across the ring! Mine throws out a boot to catch him, but Envi slides beneath her foot, and clear out of the ring beneath the bottom rope, out to the floor. He grabs at Fujiko’s left leg and trips her, taking her down to her back-- but Fujiko brings both feet forward, forcing Evan to drive himself rib-first into the ring apron! She follows up by driving both feet into his jaw, sending Evan to the floor. Fujiko rolls to her feet as Envi scrambles back onto the apron. She hits the turnbuckles, scaling seamlessly to the top before leaping off, nailing a Diving Hurricanrana, taking herself and Envi off the apron, straight to the floor below!
Kris Cruise: A HUGE diving Hurricanrana on the floor! This place is going absolutely insane!
Stephy Auger: I’m gonna be sick.
Fujiko uses her right arm to grasp on the apron, pulling herself up to a vertical base. She looks over at Evan with a sigh, shaking her head as she rolls back into the ring. She sees Evan starting to make his way to his feet, and bounces in place.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko might go to wipe out Evan with a dive here!
Stephy Auger: I hope she crashes and burns!
She measures up Evan, and then runs to the opposite ropes. Propelling herself, she keeps her eyes locked on Evan, who sees her coming and dives out of the way...only for her to kick off the middle rope, twirling through the air and landing on her feet. She turns to find where Evan has gone, only to find him charging her after sliding in the ring. She sidesteps, but he grabs at her left arm and pulls, causing her to stop. She bends over, holding her arm. Evan looks at her, measures, and then springboards off the ropes, hitting the rising Fujiko with a huge diving european uppercut!
Stephy Auger: The Chief taking to the skies better than even Fujiko could!
Fujiko tries to get to her feet, but Evan hits her in left shoulder blade with a snap kick. He then pulls her up, and hooks both of her arms…
Kris Cruise: Evan going for The Blues!
Fujiko struggles as best as she can, but Evan rears back and slams his knee into her left arm, causing her to yell out in pain. It’s enough of a distraction for him to pull her back in and drill her into the mat with The Blues!

Fujiko legs out a ragged exhale, before she hits the ropes and charges Evan again. He reacts quickly, slamming a forearm into Fujiko’s face, causing her to stagger back. While shouts of
“THREE!” echo throughout the Fiserv Forum, Evan Envi simply lies the back of his hand against the bottom rope. The referee calls off the count, pointing to Envi’s fingers as Fujiko looks at him in a mixture of frustration and confusion… before she loudly sighs, looking at Envi’s positioning.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Stephy Auger: Unreal ring presence. The Chief knew exactly where he was, even after taking a knockout shot like that 4-Play.
Kris Cruise: Incredible wherewithal by the veteran, Evan Envi, but a heartbreaking twist of fate for Fujiko, who had to have thought she had this won.
Fujiko pulls herself to her feet and forces Envi up as well, in a front facelock, before driving hard knee strikes into his ribcage, backing him into the ropes. With Envi reeling, Fujiko turns and shoots the ropes on the far side of the ring before sprinting at the Chief for a second Running Single-Leg Dropkick!
Stephy Auger: Comin’ in too hot!
Envi side-steps at seemingly the last possible second, causing Fujiko’s legs to go clear through the ropes, though her torso smashes into the top. Envi leaps into the air before Fujiko has a chance to fall and brings her down with a Backstabber! Fujiko dangles helplessly with her left foot now caught in the top and middle rope! The referees tries to untangle her-- but the Chief lifts Fujko up again, shouting out as he leaps up-- and drives her down with a second Backstabber!
Kris Cruise: Oh my God! Ref!
The referee warns Envi and physically shoves him back as Envi tries to scramble to his feet. The official goes back to trying to remove Fujiko from the ropes-- and Envi rips Fujiko off the mat a third time, leaping into the air, delivering a third Backstabber! This time Fujiko is forcefully yanked out of the ropes, down to the mat! Envi immediately grapvines her arm and applies the Crossface, earning thunderous boos from Milwaukee!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine just took three Backstabbers! Look how deep that Crossface is locked in! I don’t know if she can even breathe!
Stephy Auger: Good! It’s symbolic, because Evan Envi is about to suck the life outta this place!
The reaction is beyond deafening as Fujiko’s face grows red. She pries at Envi’s fingers, but the Chief simply leans back farther, shouting
“TAP!” at the top of his lungs.
Stephy Auger: This is what Fujiko gets for playing with the biggest heart in wrestling! This is what Fujiko gets for sticking her tongue down Evan’s throat as a play--
Kris Cruise: Stop it.
Stephy Auger: --as a play on his emotions to bring her closer to the World Championship! Well now she’s gonna have to be responsible for tapping all of that away! Serves her right!
Kris Cruise: I don’t know what kind of Kool-Aid the Chief’s been serving you, but cut it out Right now, Evan Envi has Fujiko locked deep in the BPA and he might be seconds away from a title retention! This place might riot!
Through tears forming in her eyes, she tries to focus on the ropes. Trying to drag Evan along with her good arm, she claws her way towards them.
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
“PLEASE DON’T TAP!”
Her free hand hovers over the mat for a second, the pain shooting through her making her consider it. But she balls it into a fist and moves both herself and Evan closer to the ropes.
Kris Cruise: She’s refusing to quit! Fujiko is both so close and so far away from those ropes!
Stephy Auger: No, she’s just too far! TAP!
Fujiko kicks her leg, trying to get it closer to the ropes, but Evan notices. He leans back and to the side, trying to steer her away from the ropes. Fujiko does what she can to lean with Evan, giving her enough space to kick out one more time, hooking her toe over the bottom rope to a collective sigh from the crowd!
Kris Cruise: She got it!
Naturally, Evan holds onto the hold.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FO-
Evan suddenly breaks his grip, shouting out
“AHHH!” as Fujiko sinks her teeth into his clasped hands.
Stephy Auger: SHE BIT HIM! REF!
Kris Cruise: Seems turnabout is fair play!
Evan backs away from her, holding onto his hands and checking to see if she drew blood. Fujiko lays face down, breathing heavy with her left boot still hooked on the bottom rope. Evan is satisfied that no wound has been made, but runs his hand over his head as he thinks about what to do next.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko some how got herself out of the BPA. What does Evan do now?
Stephy Auger: He reconciles with Ricky so he can get out of this dump with the FGA World Title!
Evan pushes himself up to his full height. He grabs at Fujiko by the hair, and; ignoring the protests from the referee, pulls Fujiko up slowly. He stares into her eyes before turning her around into an inverted headlock…
Stephy Auger: GUESS WHO INCOMING!
He begins to draw his lips into a grin, but Fujiko turns herself around, freeing herself from the headlock, and jumps up for The Bliss! Evan, however, has it scouting and leans back, her foot just missing his face. He moves in as she goes for the landing, but…
Kris Cruise: THE BLISS CONNECTS ON THE SECOND TRY!
Fujiko immediately snaps the move off again, this time catching Evan on the jaw! The crowd cheers loudly as Evan falls like a tree onto his back.
Stephy Auger: NO NO NO NO
NOOOOO!
She crashes to the mat as well, not landing it as she normally would. She lays on the mat motionless for a few seconds, the crowd stomping heavily to get her moving.
Kris Cruise: She hit it! But she’s got to make the cover!
Suddenly, her head pops up, realizing what just happened. She claws across the mat. Pushing herself to get an arm over Evan’s chest!

NO!Evan just barely gets his left shoulder off the mat, and the referee waves it off! The crowd groans and boos as the match continues!
Stephy Auger: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU EVAN!
Kris Cruise: Evan kicks out! Fujiko couldn’t put him away with The Bliss! They’ve traded shots, but these two continue to battle with the FGA title on the line!
Fujiko wipes her hair out of her face, holding her fingers up to the referee, asking if his count was correct-- and he nods, holding up two fingers. Fujiko sits on her knees, head tilted back as the crowd rallies behind her. As Mine looks around, many of the audience members rise to their feet in ovation. Fujiko nods, pushing herself up to her feet. She marches toward the corner-- but suddenly stops. As the camera pans down, we see that Envi has grabbed a hold of Fujiko's leg! She tries to shake him free, but to no avail. Fujiko grabs a hold of the top rope and stomps down once-- twice on Evan’s arm, forcing him to release his grip.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko’s going up!
Fujiko climbs the turnbuckles, pausing only briefly on the top-- which proves to be enough time for Envi to scramble to his feet and race forward, stepping up to the middle turnbuckle, and then to the top, driving Fujiko all the way to the mat with an Avalanche Back Suplex! Fujiko bounces violently from the impact, flipping onto her stomach.
Stephy Auger: That’s why they call it “high risk”, Cruise!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko’s down! The World Champion is back on his feet!
Envi forces Fujiko upright in a double underhook, signaling for the Blues!
Stephy Auger: There’s no way Fujiko’s gonna kick out of the Blues for a second ti-- AAAHHHHH!
The audience erupts as Fujiko hooks Evan’s leg and pulls him into a tight Inside Cradle! The ref drops down, in perfect position!

THHRRE-!
Envi pop out of the hold, drawing a long groan from the crowd. He scrambles to his feet as Fujiko reaches hers-- but Envi, a second quicker on the exchange, blasts Fujiko with a Spinning Heel Kick, sending a
CRACK! throughout the arena!
Stephy Auger: Kapowski Kick!
Fujiko crashes to the mat as Envi falls to his knees. Realizing Fujiko’s position, Envi rolls out to the apron, making a dash for the turnbuckles!
Stephy Auger: Do it! Do it!
Many in the audience rise to their feet as Envi ascends to the top turnbuckle, but boos resonate throughout the Fiserv Forum. Fujiko begins to roll away from Envi, past the center of the ring. Envi narrows his eyes…
Kris Cruise: Wise by Fujiko Mine.
Stephy Auger: He’s still going for it!
Envi stands upright and points both fingers toward Fujiko… before leaping to the adjacent ropes, springboarding off to sail across the ring for a long-range 450 Splash! The display draws a loud, mixed reaction from the biased crowd! Envi writhes in pain on the mat, but grunts as he drags himself toward the motionless Fujiko.
Kris Cruise: How in-- Helter Skelter, more than halfway across the ring! The impact!
Stephy Auger: Goodnight Fujiko! Goodnight Milwaukee!
Envi hooks the far leg of Fujiko and leans back as the ref counts.

Stephy Auger: WHA… REF.
Kris Cruise: One! Fujiko kicked out of Helter Skelter at one!
Chants of
“HOLY SHIT!” echo throughout the arena while Envi continues to sit, now pondering on the mat, legs crossed. He shakes his head, bitterly muttering something to himself before using the nearby referee to pull himself up. Ignoring the scolding, Envi steps out to the apron, shouting
“it’s finished!” out to the audience before making his way to the corner. He climbs to the top turnbuckle, measuring Fujiko, before he leaps off for the 450 Splash!
...but Fujiko rolls out of harm’s way!
Envi rolls through the impact, springing up to his feet. Using his momentum, he shoots the ropes and rebounds toward the kneeling Fujiko, looking for a Running Cutter, but Fujiko shoulder-rolls backwards, out of the way, and up to her feet! Envi slides across the mat and pulls himself up-- right in time to catch a Running Front Dropkick to the chest, sending him flying into the corner! With a grunt, he pulls himself back up-- but Fujiko sprints the interior of the ring and races all the way back to Envi, nailing a second Running Front Dropkick, sending him spine-first into the turnbuckles again!
Kris Cruise: She’s feeling it, Stephy!
Stephy Auger: Hrmm…
Evan uses the ropes on either side of him to pull himself to his feet. Fujiko rotates her shoulder, still trying to rid herself of the pain from the earlier attack, but as Evan strides toward Fujiko, she dashes forward and nails a rope-assisted Tornado DDT, spiking the Chief to the mat!
Kris Cruise: Looks like Fujiko’s getting use out of that left arm again!
Envi rolls toward the center of the ring, checking his forehead for blood while Fujiko nods along to the raucous crowd, rising to her feet. She locks eyes with Evan as he pushes himself up, shaking from pain. Fujiko prepares to strike-- and Evan strides forward, blasting her with a Super Kick! Fujiko’s head snaps back and she reels… before firing back with a Super Kick of her own! Spit flies and Evan teeters, staggering back into the ropes.
Kris Cruise: What a shot!
Evan comes off the ropes and smashes into Fujiko with a high knee!
“BOOOOO!”
Fujiko is thrown back from the move-- but bounces off the ropes and rebounds with a high knee of her own, catching Evan right under the jaw!
“YEEEAAAAAAA!”
Envi staggers… but fires off a Kapowski Kick! The shot, again, snaps Fujiko’s head back. She stumbles back, disoriented.
“BOOOOO!”
As Evan comes closer, Fujiko blasts him with a spin kick, catching him flush across the cheekbone!
“YEEEEAAAAAAA!”
Envi yells out in pain and frustration before delivering a roundhouse kick to Fujiko’s temple!
“BOOOOO!”
Fujiko nearly tumbles over from the force of the kick… but with a battle cry of her own, she leaps into the air, smashing into Envi with an Enzuigiri that sends Envi staggering all the way to the other side of the ring!
“YEEEEAAAAAAA!”
Evan turns around, looking for a Discus Forearm-- but Fujiko pivots as well, throwing herself head-over-heels for the Backflip Kick!
Kris Cruise: The Blis-NO!
Evan grabs a hold of Fujiko’s leg in mid-air and stalls her momentum-- before hooking her waist and dropping her with an inverted Piledriver!
Stephy Auger: Tombstone Piledriver! Tombstone Piledriver! HAHAA, just when you think you
know the Chief!
The audience groans as Fujiko’s driven to the canvas! Envi falls away from the challenger, but quickly scrambles on top of her, sitting on Fujiko’s stomach, hooking her legs under his arms as the ref counts.

THR--!
Fujiko powers out, sending Evan off of her to the delight of the crowd!
Kris Cruise: Shades of the tag team main event from Vertigo, where these two last met! But this time, Evan had no assistance from the ropes! This time, Fujiko was able to kick out at two and a half and keep the dream alive!
Evan buries his face in his hands for a moment, looking toward Fujiko. His face seems to cycle through emotions as he looks toward the challenger, writhing in pain in the mat. Fujiko reaches out toward the ropes as she rolls toward them. Evan shakes his head, rising to his feet as Fujiko uses the ropes to groggily pull herself to hers. He shouts
“just give up!” before burying his face in his hands again, taking a deep breath.
Stephy Auger: The Chief’s heart bleeds, Cruise. He thought that this woman was his soulmate and now he’s about to be FORCED to put her down like a sick dog. This is so hard for Evan!
Evan stalks Fujiko from behind as she finally pulls herself up using the ropes… and then she takes a single step back, delivering the Backflip Kick, catching Evan right between the eyes!
Kris Cruise: THE BLISS CONNECTS!
Stephy Auger: …
Fujiko lands on top of Envi! Realizing her positioning, she grabs his legs and leans back, planting her feet into an a deep, deep cover!

THRE…
Fujiko’s momentum proves too much and Envi is able to roll through the pin, flipping onto his stomach! A collective sigh escapes the mouths of the fans!
Kris Cruise: So close! So close!
Fujiko breathes heavily, hands on the canvas, but she shakes her head and pulls herself upright. She grabs Evan by the neck, forcing him up to his knees… and then to his feet… before driving him to the mat with the Reverse DDT! Immediately, Fujiko transitions into a Dragon Sleeper and grapevines the legs to a roar from Milwaukee! Evan flails in the move, thrashing about, but Fujiko holds on for dear life!
Stephy Auger: Chief!
Kris Cruise: There’s no letting go! Evan Envi is in Ecstasy and Fujiko Mine has it locked all the way in!
Chants of
“TAP!” thunder throughout the venue as Envi flails, pulling at Fujiko’s arms to no avail. Fujiko screams as she applies more pressure, arching back as far as her spine will allow, bending Envi’s neck at an impossible angle!
Kris Cruise: We’ve seen him submit to this before! Fujiko Mine, for all intents and purposes, should have claimed the World Title from Evan Envi with this move! And now he’s trapped with no escape! No escape from the Apex Goddess!
The chants of
“TAP!” somehow manage to grow even louder. The referee drops to his hands and knees, asking Evan if he’ll submit. Envi raises a hand…
...before lowering it, screaming out in agony. He plants his feet and arches his own back upright, but Fujiko refuses to break the hold! Envi keeps himself and Fujiko suspended a few inches above the ground-- and Fujiko is finally forced to relinquish the grapevine around his torso, but the Dragon Sleeper remains locked in! Evan flips backwards over Fujiko’s body, though she maintains a hold on his neck-- and Evan uses his free arms to pin Fujiko’s shoulders to the ground, even as she attempts to release her grip. Already in position, the referee counts!

Fujiko shoves Evan off of her with minimal time to spare! Evan scrambles to his feet, but Fujiko is up right in front of him! Fujiko pivots, driving her sole into Envi’s stomach with a spin kick! The Chief heaves and drops to a knee.
Stephy Auger: No! Evan, get up!
The crowd bursts into cheers as Fujiko grabs Evan’s wrists, reels back, and slams her knee into his jaw!
Stephy Auger: NO!Evan reels back, but Fujiko doesn’t let go, dragging him forward into another!
Kris Cruise: Consecutive Y3KHs!
Stephy Auger: Stop her!
Fujiko does not let go of Evan’s arms, but it’s obvious that she is getting fatigued. She looks at Evan, whose eyes are a bit distant, and nods before letting him go, and slamming her foot into his face with a superkick! He falls onto his back, and Fujiko falls to her knees. Her eyes drift over to the turnbuckle, and she begins to make her way towards it.

Tears fall from her face and she slumps off Evan. She turns over on her stomach, labored breathing punctuated with tears. She manages to draw her knees into herself, pounding on the mat several times. She then throws her torso upright, letting out a scream of elation! The referee hands her the FGA World championship, and she can barely take her teary eyes off it. She looks at him in disbelief, as if she has been dreaming, before tearing her gaze away and focusing it back into the centerplate of the championship while slowly making her way to her feet. The referee raises her right arm, and the crowd explodes in cheers!

She stays there for a few moments, until good land green, gold, and great lakes blue confetti begins to fall from the ceiling. She struggles to extract herself from the crowd, but manages to do so. She rolls back into the now empty ring, and ascends the nearest turnbuckle...holding the FGA World championship high over her head. Tears of joy continue to stream down her face as she surveys the crowd with the championship in per possession.
Kris Cruise: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are out of time! For Stephy Auger, I am Kris Cruise, and we’ll see you soon for Vertigo in the Apex Goddess Era!
The last shot is of Fujiko Mine, tears streaming down her face as she looks up at the FGA championship in her grip as confetti falls around her. We fade into the FGA logo, then to black.
