★★★SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH ★★★
Jimmy Page & Pendragon vs. Savannah Taylor & The Chaotics
There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.
Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.
On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.
Inside me a light was turned on…
The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.
Then I was alive!
In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.
Melanie Sierra: The following contest is a Six Man Tag Team Match! It is scheduled for one fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing team number one! First, from Las Vegas, Nevada… SAVANNAH TAYLOR!
If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed
Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.
In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes
While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.
Geoff Penzer: The Las Vegas Siren didn’t mince words when she was in the ring earlier tonight against Jimmy Page! Taylor took exception to what she felt was Page downplaying her. Taylor ended that confrontation off by throwing what Page did to Chandler Scott in his face. I’m not sure if it’s wise on the part of Taylor to antagonize the International heavyweight Champion, given his history. But I’m sure she’s got a plan in place.
The lights in the arena slowly fade to near-darkness. While this hushes some members of the audience, others grow loud in anticipation. “Deadcruiser” hits the PA system and a silver-blue strobe begins to dance near the top of the ramp, revealing the silhouette of a feminine figure with a hoodie thrown over wrestling gear, marching through the darkness-- drawing a chorus of boos from the live audience, already recognizing the silhouette to be Ashlyn De Luca… but as the camera pans past her, a slightly slower-moving, masculine figure follows, drawing a deep roar from the crowd in contrast.
Melanie Sierra: Her partners, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 360 pounds! They are the reigning FGA World Tag Team Champions! Ashlyn De Luca and Logan Alexander… THE CHAOTICS!
As Ashlyn De Luca reaches the bottom of the ramp, the lights fade to normal, revealing the team for the first time. Ashlyn pauses just once to survey the audience while Logan walks to the ring apron, stepping inside. Ashlyn smirks, jawing back at the rowdier fans at ringside, arms open wide as if inviting a strike as she screams back out into the raucous audience. Behind her, Logan mounts the bottom-and-middle ropes, arms held to his side in a similar pose. Ashlyn backs away from the barricade, rolling into the ring beneath the ropes and Logan, hopping to her feet on the opposite side of the ring, screaming out into the other side of the audience as they rise to their feet. Logan drops down from the ropes and bumps forearms with De Luca in the center of the ring as they pass each other, mounting opposite corners to look out into the masses. The Chaotics remove their hoodies, tossing them simultaneously to the floor as their music fades.
Geoff Penzer: One person’s plan blew up in her face and that was the plan of Ashlyn De Luca to take out Page before the match. Taylor had her reservations, especially when she considered the mindframe that would put Page in heading into their International Heavyweight Championship match at Only the Strong Survive. De Luca let it be known once Taylor was out of the room that she couldn’t care less about what happens to Taylor at Only the Strong Survive. She only cares what happens to The Chaotics and them keeping their record-setting World Tag Title reign going. However De Luca feels about Taylor, she HAS to get on the same page as her tonight or else that will spell bad news for De Luca, Taylor and Logan Alexander!
The lights flicker as "Take A Chance" by CFO$ begins to play over the PA system, and out through the curtains walks Neal Durden, followed closely by Lowri Moss. The Welsh duo stand side by side on the stage for a moment, surveying the crowd, before they then make their way towards the ring, with Neal leading the way.
Melanie Sierra: Their opponents! First, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 320 pounds! They are the team of Lowri Moss and Neal Durden… PENDRAGON!
After climbing the steps and entering the ring, Lowri heads for one of the corners and climbs to the second rope to look out at the cheering fans, while Neal simply stands in the middle of the ring with his pinky finger up and a smirk on his face.
Geoff Penzer: Pendragon remain undeterred. The World Tag Team Title match at A New Odyssey didn’t go according to plan. But, they didn’t lose! Pendragon is still fighting for one more shot at The Chaotics! Will De Luca and Alexander give Pendragon once more crack at the titles and give the fans the rematch that they deserve?
A song crashes into the P.A. system that sounds of static and a guitar. The lights begin to flash a violent red frantically. As the song "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon really kicks in, the lights continue to flash red. A silhouette appears at the entrance. With a controlled stagger, Jimmy Page comes from the back, head down and arms out from his sides. Page swaggers down to the ring in at a methodical pace. The camera gets a close up of his hair covered face as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at the top of the ramp, flinging his hair from his eyes and glaring around, chewing on a piece of gum. Through the static red, a spotlight follows Page as he makes his way to the front of the ring.
Melanie Sierra: And their partner, from Flint, Michigan! Weighing in at 237 pounds! He is the reigning International Heavyweight Champion… JIMMY PAGE!
He takes a running start, sliding on top of the apron. He stands, gets in the ring, then climbs on top of the turnbuckle. Page spits his gum outside of the ring, into the crowd. Jimmy leaps down from the turnbuckle, and begins to slither down into a seat on the lower turnbuckle; Placing his head against the middle turnbuckle, knocking the back of it against the corner gently as he awaits the bell.
Geoff Penzer: Jimmy Page knows who is next challenger will be after Savannah Taylor won the Beat The Clock Challenge! Taylor has waited a long, long time for this opportunity. As of late, she’s picked up some huge wins both inside and outside of FGA! She’s ready to take that next step and become a top champion. But Page went through a war or wars to claim the International Heavyweight Championship. He will do everything in his power to keep that championship. But at what cost? An injured opponent? Another ended career?
The bell sounds as each group is in their respective corners. Lowri Moss opts for start things off for her side. While Jimmy Page and Neal Durden head out onto the apron, The Chaotics and Savannah Taylor are seen still going over things in their corner. De Luca wants a piece of Moss right now! But the Las Vegas Siren opts to start things off for her side. De Luca protests, but Logan Alexander agrees with letting Taylor start things off to set the tone. When De Luca looks at Taylor, the Las Vegas Siren gives her a smirk. De Luca then looks up and down at Taylor with contempt before rolling her eyes at her. She then relents before giving Alexander a high five. De Luca then turns to Taylor and motions for a high five… before quickly putting her hand down and brushing past the Las Vegas Siren on her way to the apron.
Geoff Penzer: Real mature, Ashlyn.
Taylor and Moss make their way out of their respective corners before circling the ring. The two continue to circle the ring until De Luca reaches over the top rope and slaps Taylor on the shoulder to tag herself in!
Geoff Penzer: What was that? I believe their side agreed that Savannah Taylor would start things off. But I guess De Luca doesn’t want to wait. She wants a piece of Lowri Moss and Moss doesn’t seem to be objecting!
Taylor stops, turns and narrows her eyes at De Luca as The Chaotic enters through the ropes. De Luca responds by looking Taylor up and down before pointing behind her with her thumb. Taylor just shakes her head at De Luca before stepping out onto the apron.
Geoff Penzer: Oh man, you can just feel the tension between those two. The egos of some people, man...
De Luca smirks as she starts to circle the ring. The smirk slowly turns into a scowl once she locks eyes with Moss. The two then rush towards the center of the ring and lock up. After jockeying for position, Moss shoves De Luca down to the mat. De Luca scrambles back to her feet and locks up with Moss again. This time, Moss sends De Luca to the mat with a japanese arm drag. After De Luca scrambles back to her feet, she engages in another collar-and-elbow tie up. After jockeying for position, De Luca is able to move Moss across the ring and into the corner. Moss then tries to muscle her way out of the corner and moves De Luca back towards the center of the ring. But De Luca overpowers her and moves her back into the corner. The crowd cheers as Moss is once again able to muscle her way out of the corner and move De Luca back towards the center of the ring. The cheers quickly turn back to boos when De Luca grabs Moss by the hair and moves her into the corner. The ref is quick to rush over and give them until the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Both grapplers let go. The crowd boos when De Luca shoves Moss in the corner. The boos then turn to cheers when Moss responds with a shove, pushing De Luca down to the mat. After De Luca scrambles back to her feet, she gets caught in a side headlock. De Luca then delivers a couple of shots to the ribs before shoving Moss off into the ropes. When Moss returns, she knocks De Luca down to the mat with a running shoulder block. She quickly drops down and makes the cover.

Moss picks up De Luca and places her in another side headlock. With a bit of maneuvering, De Luca is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock from behind. Moss then leans forward before reversing into a hammerlock of her own. The crowd once again boos when De Luca breaks up the hold by nailing Moss with a back elbow to the face using her free arm. She then runs into the ropes. When De Luca returns, the crowd cheers when Moss knocks her off her feet with a dropsault! De Luca gets back to her feet and gets caught with a Scorpion Kick! She then takes De Luca and whips her into the ropes. When De Luca returns, she sees Moss setting up for a back body drop. So she counters with a sunset flip! But Moss is able to roll through it, then flip over into a jackknife pin!

Geoff Penzer: Moss nearly caught De Luca again for a three count! I don’t think De Luca’s ego could take another loss to Moss! I think that’s why she’s been resisting giving Pendragon another crack at the tag gold.
When both grapplers get back to their feet, Moss takes De Luca and goes for an irish whip. But De Luca reverse, sending Moss into the ropes. When Moss returns, De Luca looks for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. But Moss counters with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown! When both grapplers return to their feet, Moss runs over and throws out a clothesline. But De Luca ducks before heading into the far ropes. When De Luca returns, Moss throws her down with an STO! The cheers continue as she makes the cover.

Moss takes De Luca and whips her into the ropes. Instead of coming back, the crowd erupts with boos when De Luca hangs onto the ropes. She then wags her finger at Moss before pointing over towards her corner. Moss turns around and sees De Luca pointing right at Jimmy Page!
Geoff Penzer: Moss can’t be serious.
Moss turns back to De Luca and points at Page behind her with her thumb. De Luca nods her head enthusiastically. Moss then shrugs before heading over and tagging Page in.
Geoff Penzer: Aaaawww, here we go...
The crowd explodes with cheers when Page gets into the ring. Instead of backing down, De Luca goes right over to the International Heavyweight Champion.
Geoff Penzer: Look at De Luca! Maybe she wasn’t afraid of Page afterall!
De Luca starts to run off at the mouth before pointing her finger in Page’s chest. Page takes exception to this and slowly moves De Luca’s finger from off his chest. De Luca then pokes Page in the chest with her finger again while continuing to berate him. Once again, Page slowly moves De Luca’s hand from off his chest. The crowd erupts with boos when De Luca points her finger in Page’s face while calling him every name in the book! This time, the crowd explodes with cheers when Page slaps De Luca’s hand from out of his face! The crowd boos De Luca when she responds by flicking Page in the forehead! De Luca continues to insult Page while she nudges his shoulder. She then nudges Page again before pushing him. But the champion barely moves. Page just shakes his head from side to side at De Luca. The Mayor of Ashlanta kicks things up a notch by looking Page up and down… before slapping the taste right out of his mouth!!!
Geoff Penzer: Oh no...
After Page slowly turns back to De Luca, she whacks him across the face with a backhand slap!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Geoff Penzer: Ashlyn, what in the world are you doing!?
The slap turns Page away from her. Before Page can even turn around, De Luca whacks him with a slap upside the back of the head! The crowd murmurs while Page clenches his jaw and squeezes his eyes tight.
Geoff Penzer: Why is De Luca poking and prodding him!? What is she trying to accomplish here!?
When Page opens his eyes, the members of Pendragon have a look of concern on their face. Page slowly turns around and gives De Luca a cold glare that could raise the hairs on the back of her neck
Geoff Penzer: This isn’t good. This isn’t good at all...
De Luca’s eyes widen with concern. She then starts to slowly back away from Page while she puts her hands up defensively. At this point, Page is in no mood to listen to reason. He then makes a beeline towards the Tag Champ! De Luca continues to circle away from Page while Page marches after her! De Luca then continues to step back… before quickly turning around and slapping Taylor across the chest to tag her in! The crowd erupts with boos as De Luca rolls to the floor before putting her hands up.
Geoff Penzer: What the… this was De Luca’s Plan B after Taylor rejected her idea backstage! That conniving… she’s trying to set up Savannah Taylor to get mauled by Page! I can’t believe she would stoop so low! Come on now, Ashlyn! Come on!
Taylor looks down at De Luca and shakes her head in shame. De Luca can be seen smiling while pointing at Taylor before pointing into the ring at Page. De Luca begins to clap obnoxiously at Taylor while telling her
“go get ‘em, Savvy Tay Tay!” Taylor groans at De Luca before entering the ring. When De Luca turns to Alexander, Alexander holds his arm out to ask what was that all about.
Back inside, the International Heavyweight Champion is staring down his number one contender. Taylor goes over to engage in a lock up. But Page doubles her over with a kick to the midsection! He then knocks Taylor back with a straight right to the jaw! Another right hand knocks Taylor into the corner! From there, Page unleashes a series of back elbow strikes, followed by a series of knee strikes! After Taylor is sent into the far corner with an irish whip, Page charges across the ring and connects with a running corner elbow smash! He takes Taylor and sends her back into the previous corner before following up with another running corner elbow smash! The cheers continue as Page brings Taylor from out of the corner before shooting her into the far ropes. When Taylor returns, Page throws her down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! De Luca can be seen on the apron showing fake concern by holding her back. Back in the ring, Page takes Taylor and whips her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Page flattens her with a running big boot! Again, De Luca can be seen showing fake concern by holding her mouth. Back inside, Page picks up Taylor, hooks both arms and then heaves her over towards his corner with a double underhook suplex! Page arches over, picks up Taylor, lifts her up and brings her down with a vertical suplex! After bouncing against the ropes, Page delivers a knee drop! Then a second! Followed by a third! Then a fourth! Then finally a fifth! De Luca puts her hand over her heart while he makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: It didn’t look like Page wanted to tag out. But I think it was best that he did. Who knows what would have happened had Page lost total control. Well, unfortunately, I think we all do know what would happen...

Geoff Penzer: What a wild Six Man Tag we just witnessed! The action was hard-hitting! Bodies were flying all over the place! We even saw Ashlyn De Luca intentionally antagonize Jimmy Page, only to tag out to Savannah Taylor so he could unleash his frustrations out on her. But in the end, it was Savannah Taylor who got the win for her and The Chaotics! For Amanda Johnson, this is Geoff Penzer signing off! We’ll see you next time, right here, on Flashpoint!
