The opening guitar riff of "Warrior" by Skarlett Riot begins to play over the sound system seconds before the Hybrid Champion Ashley Sullivan walks out onto the stage. Pointing out to the fans all over the arena, Sullivan walks down to the ring. Once she gets down to ringside, and gets on the apron before climbing the turnbuckle from the outside. She nimbly climbs the turnbuckle from the outside to perch atop the top rope as she sits on her knees.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 15 Minute Time Limit. It is a First Round match in the Frontier Lions Cup!It is also a 15 Championship Match! Introducing first, the challenger! From Bradley Beach, New Jersey! Weighing in at 122 pounds… she is ASHLEY SULLIVAN!

With her name being announced, Ashley holds both of her arms up as she lays back on the turnbuckle post behind her. Flashing from cameras going off all around her, Sullivan rolls forwards to flip down into the ring and land on her feet.

Geoff Penzer: Ashley Sullivan had her chance to become United States Champion a few weeks ago. But she ended up getting bested by Salem. Tonight, Sullivan finds herself in line for another championship opportunity. This time, the FGA 15 Championship!

The first few bars of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” begin to play as the lights pulsate in time with the music. Slowly the curtains part, and Sloan Talbot steps through - his pace slow and methodical.

Sloan runs a hand through his hair as he makes his way down the aisle, a stoic expression on his face.

Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from Saint Michel, Monaco! Weighing in at 247 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA 15 Champion… SLOAN TALBOT!

Completely ignoring the fans either side of him Talbot reaches ringside, placing a knee on the apron before pulling himself up using the middle rope. He takes a quick glance around the arena before stepping into the ring and making his way to the corner.

Geoff Penzer: Sloan Talbot defeated Kendall Kingham on the last edition of Flashpoint for the 15 Championship. Kingham gave it her all. She gave Talbot one hell of a fight. But Talbot was just too big, too strong and too much for the fan favorite! Tonight, Talbot finds himself in there with a different kind of fighter. Sullivan is no stranger to championships. She knows the stakes. She knows what she has to do tonight and that’s dig deep in her back of tricks to defeat this mountain of a man!

The bell sounds as Sullivan rushes over and tries to knock Talbot off his feet with a dropkick! The kick knocks Talbot back. But it doesn’t topple him. Sullivan then gets back to her feet before running into the ropes. When she returns, the crowd cheers when she connects with another dropkick. While Talbot tries to shake off the blow, Sullivan gets back to her feet and darts into the far ropes. When she returns, she throws out a third dropkick. This time, Talbot swats her down before nailing her with a kick to the ribs that sends her rolling across the ring! Talbot marches after Sullivan as the AAA member rolls out onto the apron. Talbot sticks his upper body through the ropes and reaches out to grab Sullivan. Sullivan is quick to counter with a kick to the head! While Talbot stumbles back, Sullivan pulls herself up using the ropes. She then goes for a springboard dropkick. But again, Talbot swats her down. The crowd boos when Talbot begins to stomp away on Sullivan’s back. After pressing his foot down against her lower back, Talbot reaches down, grabs Sullivan by the hair and pulls back. Sullivan screams in pain while the ref gives Talbot until the count of five to let go.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE…. FOUR… F-

Talbot purposely breaks the hold late!

Geoff Penzer: Talbot’s already pushing his luck!

Talbot reaches down, yanks up Sullivan by the hair, turns and flings her across the ring! Sullivan rolls across the ring before once again rolling out onto the apron. Talbot marches over, climbs up onto the middle ropes, reaches down and snatches up Sullivan. The 15 Champion holds Sullivan up before bringing her back into the ring with Enter Tragedy (Superplex from Apron)! The boos continue as he turns over into a lateral press.

Geoff Penzer: Talbot is having his way with Sullivan. He’s tossing her around in there with the simplest of ease.

Talbot yanks up Sullivan before whipping her hard into the corner. After Sullivan’s back crashes against the turnbuckles, she collapses to the canvas. Talbot marches over, yanks Sullivan back up and whips her hard into the far corner. As soon as Sullivan’s back crashes into the turnbuckle, she drops face-first to the mat. Talbot marches across the ring. He reaches down to pick up Sullivan when Sullivan slips underneath the bottom rope and down to the floor. She then reaches back in and tries to yank Talbot down to the mat. But Talbot is hanging onto the ropes to block her. Sullivan then wraps her arms around Talbot’s leg before tugging away at it. Sullivan eventually brings Talbot down to the mat. After Sullivan pulls Talbot to the outside, Talbot palms Sullivan's face and shoves her down to the floor! The back of Sullivan’s head smacks off the floor. Sullivan quickly curls up and holds the back of her head. Talbot looks down and shows no mercy as he puts the boots to the challenger.

Geoff Penzer: I know what Sullivan was trying to do. But that plan blew up in her face.

Talbot reaches down, snatches up Sullivan and grabs her by the throat.

Geoff Penzer: Uh ho...

Sullivan tries to pull his hand from around her neck, but it’s to no avail. Talbot brings Sullivan back over towards the side of the ring. The crowd boos as he hoists her up before throwing her down hard with a chokeslam onto the apron!

Geoff Penzer: UGH!

Instead of letting Sullivan fall to the floor, Talbot keeps the choke applies while pressing Sullivan against the apron. The ref gives him until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… FI-

Talbot again purposely breaks the hold late! The ref warns Talbot. But the 15 Champion pays him no mind. After yanking Sullivan off the apron, Talbot lifts her up and holds her in place. The crowd boos the longer Talbot keeps her held up.

Geoff Penzer: The power of Sloan Talbot is once again on display...

After about 15 seconds, Talbot falls back, delivering a stalling vertical suplex to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: OH!

Sullivan howls in pain as she arches her back. Talbot then picks up Sullivan before rolling her back inside. He then grabs Sullivan, drags her upper body back out across the apron and delivers multiple clubbing strikes across the chest. He then climbs up onto the apron and goes for a leg drop. But Sullivan rolls slips back in, causing Talbot to hit nothing but the canvas. Talbot immediately grabs his leg while the crowd cheers!

Geoff Penzer: Talbot missed! He missed the leg drop on the apron! Sullivan might have just found her opening!

While Talbot sits on the apron, Sullivan slowly turns over on all fours. After she slowly gets back to a vertical base, she runs as best she can into the ropes. When Sullivan returns, she connects with a baseball slide to the back! Talbot gets knocked off the apron, but he lands right on his feet. Talbot turns back to the ring. As he marches back over and climbs up onto the apron, Sullivan knocks him off with a dropkick! Again, Talbot lands on his feet. Annoyed, Talbot turns around and climbs back up onto the apron. This time, Sullivan connects with a spinning heel kick that knocks Talbot off the apron and to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Sullivan finally knocks him down!

Back inside, Sullivan can be seen heading over towards the corner. Once Talbot gets back up and turns around, Sullivan leaps off and goes for a springboard moonsault…

Geoff Penzer: THERE SHE GOES...

… as Sullivan comes down, the crowd gasps when Talbot catches her across his shoulder. He then turns and eyes the guardrail.

Geoff Penzer: Oh God...

Talbot runs down ringside. Before he can throw Sullivan down with a powerslam, Sullivan slips down from behind and counters with a one-handed bulldog on the outside!

Geoff Penzer: Sullivan with a bulldog on the floor! There you go, Sully!

Sullivan gets back to her feet and staggers around before rolling back inside. The ref continues to count Talbot out…

Talbot gets back to his feet. When he rolls back in, Sullivan heads over and puts the boots to him. She then picks up Talbot and goes for an irish whip. But Talbot reverses, sending Sullivan into the ropes. When Sullivan returns, she slides through Talbot’s legs. When Talbot turns around, Sullivan runs right at him. He tries to take her head off with a lariat. But Sullivan ducks and heads into the ropes. When Sullivan comes back, Talbot throws out another lariat. But again, Sullivan ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she avoids a third lariat and goes to counter with a crucifix pin. Sullivan tries with all her might to bring Talbot down, but it's to no avail. Talbot then counters with a Samoan Drop! He reaches back and hooks the leg.

Sullivan gets her shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: Again, Talbot is just too big and too strong...

Talbot picks up Sullivan and whips her into the ropes. When Sullivan returns, a loud smack can be heard when Talbot snatches her by the throat! He then hoists her up for another chokeslam. This time, Sullivan nails him with an elbow to the side of the head on the way up! After Talbot drops her, the crowd cheers when Sullivan follows up with a swinging neckbreaker. She makes the cover.

Talbot kicks out.

Sullivan picks up Talbot and goes for an irish whip. But Talbot reverses, sending Sullivan into the corner. She arches her back when she hits the turnbuckles. Talbot runs over to attack when Sullivan knocks him back with a boot to the face. After hoisting herself up onto the middle ropes, the crowd cheers when Sullivan jumps off and brings him down with a diving Into Dust (Codebreaker)! Talbot bounces off her knees and turns over onto his back. Meanwhile, Sullivan lays on her back in pain.

Geoff Penzer: Sullivan may have hurt herself more than Talbot with that move!

Sullivan slowly turns over on all fours. As she looks over, she sees Talbot getting up onto a knee. Talbot tries to get back to a vertical base. But Sullivan beats him to the punch, heads over and knocks him down with a Shining Wizard! The cheers continue as she makes the cover.

Talbot kicks out.

Sullivan picks up Talbot and whips him into the corner. The crowd explodes with cheers when she runs across the ring and connects with the Wind Kick (corner big boot)! She then moves out of the way as Talbot staggers away from the corner. Sullivan then climbs up onto the middle ropes. When Talbot turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers when Sullivan flips off and brings him down with a Blockbuster! Sullivan again arches her back after landing on it. She then slowly turns over and drapes her arm across Talbot’s chest.

Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Sully...

Sullivan picks up Talbot and hits him with multiple right hands to the face. She then turns and runs into the ropes. When Sullivan returns, she leaps up for another Into Dust. But Talbot catches her in mid air! He then shoves her off of him. After Sullivan lands on her feet, she runs over to attack Talbot when Talbot turns her inside out with a running big boot! He reaches down, yanks up Sullivan and shoves her into the ropes. When Sullivan returns, the crowd boos when Talbot turns her inside out with a lariat! Talbot reaches down, yanks up Sullivan, scoops her up and delivers a backbreaker into a fallaway slam, hurling Sullivan across the ring! Talbot marches across the ring, yanks up Sullivan and hoists her up with a two handed choke. The ref gives Talbot until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… FIVE!

The ref scolds Talbot for refusing to break the choke. But Talbot just ignores him. The ref demands him to break the choke now. Talbot turns to the ref, giving him a look as if to dare him to do something about it. But the ref does and calls for the bell. The crowd erupts with boos.

Geoff Penzer: The ref has just called for the bell to be rung! Sloan Talbot was testing the referee’s patience all night! The official finally saw enough out of Talbot and disqualified him before he could really hurt Sullivan! But he’s still got the choke applied!

The ref yells at Talbot to break the choke. Talbot responds by squeezing even tighter!!! The ref then reaches up and wraps his arms around one of Talbot’s. Talbot then drops Sullivan. He then turns to the official and snatches him by the throat!!!

Geoff Penzer: Oh no. Oh no. This isn’t good. This isn’t good!

Talbot walks around the ring with the ref in his clutches. He then hoists the ref up for a chokeslam. Talbot’s about to throw the ref down when Kendall Kingham slides in and nails him with a clubbing strike from behind! The crowd explodes with cheers!

Geoff Penzer: Kendall Kingham!!!

Talbot drops the ref. When Talbot turns around, The cheers continue as Kingham rocks him with European Uppercut!. The crowd is behind the former 15 Champion as she continues to unleash European Uppercuts! A discus European Uppercut knocks Talbot through the ropes and to the floor!!! Talbot stumbles back before regaining his footing. Kingham motions for Talbot to get back in! Talbot begins to march towards the ring when a group of officials rush past Talbot and point him to the back! Talbot looks past the officials and into the ring. He nods at Kingham before walking backwards up the ramp…

Geoff Penzer: Kendall Kingham wanted some of Sloan Talbot! It looked like Sloan Talbot was ready to go! But the officials are pointing him to the back! They’ve had enough out of Talbot and I can’t blame them!

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match by Disqualification… ASHLEY SULLIVAN!

Cheers and applause can be heard while Kingham checks on Sullivan.

Melanie Sierra: HOWEVER… the 15 Championship cannot change hands on a Disqualification. Therefor, STILL the 15 Champion… SLOAN TALBOT!

The crowd boos as the announcement of Talbot keeping his championship...

Page is seen backstage, the FGA Undisputed Championship sat over his waist as he himself sat idly by on a production crate. He stares off into space, still taking in the fact that he had come so far from his low point to a moment of clarity and happiness he hadn't felt in years. He brushes his hair back from his face as the camera focus on him. Leaning forward, Page's eyes glare into the lens as he begins his statement to his opponent...Kol.

Jimmy Page: Ever since I got back from my sabbatical, I haven't had time to myself. I worked hard for the good part of this year, and to show their gratitude, the higher uppers decided to give me a mini vacation. A lot of people don't like that, I don't show up for the 7 Year Anniversary show and people think I've gotten entitled. Well to those people, I'll say this: I've climbed up the mountain, and I've reached the peak, so excuse me if I take in the view a little bit. Kol thinks that makes me soft...

Page scoffs at the notion, shaking his head as he runs a hand down the corners of his mouth. He points at the camera lens.

Jimmy Page: Kol wants you to believe he's a killing machine. I've faced a good amount of killers in my time in that ring, so pardon me if I'm not all that shook. He had a lot to say, "Why isn't Jimmy Page at this anniversary show?"; "I thought the world champion was supposed to be here every single night?"; Well, here I am...and there you are, and from what I can see there ain't nothin' in-between you and me tonight but three other bodies and a guy in a ref shirt. So why don't we stop gawking at each other and let our fists do the talkin', I'm down for whatever you can dish and more. This isn't a couple of months back when you had my shoulders pinned on that mat.

Page leans back.

Jimmy Page: Just say the word and I'll guarantee you that whatever you think I was after our small little meeting, you only got half of me. Do you want the full me? Hey, you'll get that and more. But until then I've gotta deal with your other teammates. Specifically, Chandler Scott, who can't stand me and I can't stand him. And I'd love nothing more than to punch that hypocritical jackass in his smug mouth. Merry Christmas to me I guess, two assholes in one ring. I'll gladly give the Cleveland crowd something to go home happy about. And I'm sure my teammates feel the same way. So until then...

Page hops off the production crate and slings the title over his shoulder.

Jimmy Page: See you out there, Kol.

Page begins to walk out of the shot as the camera begins to fade to black.

Frontier Lions Cup (First Round)
Evan Envi vs. Lowri Moss

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and is a Frontier Lions Cup First Round Match!

The familiar, frantic instrumental slams into the PA system, drawing a deafening reaction from the crowd-- most of them choosing to rain down jeers. Multi-colored strobes dance throughout the arena as the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” blares throughout the arena. Upon the first hint of vocals, Evan Envi steps through the curtains, onto the ramp, his signature jacket thrown on, hood pulled up over his head, slightly obscuring the view of his face. He takes a few steps forward, nodding a bit, an eyebrow perked as he surveys the raucous crowd.

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, from Ocean City, Maryland. Weighing in at 203 pounds. He is EVAAAANNNN ENNNNVVVIIIIII!

Evan pulls his hood back before walking forward, raising his signature Double V’s high into the air, glaring toward the ring as he makes his way down the ramp. Envi climbs the stairs and finally lowers his arms as he climbs the ropes near the turnbuckles as if walking a staircase, standing at the top as he unzips his jacket, shooting a smirk toward a few members of the audience that shout at him near ringside. Envi tosses his jacket out of the ring-- and it lands near-perfectly over the closest camera (and cameraman). We switch to another shot as Envi leaps from the top rope down into the ring, kissing the tips of his fingers before raising them high into the air in double presidential peace-signs, eyes closed, head tilted back in the center of the ring, seemingly unmoved by the amount of boos pouring down on him. Evan opens his eyes and rolls his neck as he backs into the corner, shaking his limbs loose to prepare for combat.

Kris Cruise: Evan Envi looking confident here as he makes his entrance.

Stephy Auger: And why shouldn’t he, Cruise? This is the man who won the Frontier Lions Cup last year. Who’s reigned as the World Champion for most of 2018. It’s his time to ascend again.

Kris Cruise: Maybe so. But tonight he’s got his hands full with, arguably, one of the wrestlers of the year, Stephy.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent…

“New Blood” by Zayde Wolf plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, Lowri Moss walks through the curtains, out onto the stage, with a broad smile on her face and her US Tag Team title around her waist. Lowri takes a moment to scan the cheering crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her.

J.A. Aldridge: Hailing from Llanelli in Wales. Weighing in at 142 pounds. This is LOWRIIII MOOOOSSSS!

After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron, and then steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. Lowri takes the title from around her waist, and holds it aloft, eliciting further cheers and more applause. She holds the title in the air for several seconds, soaking in the reaction, as she again surveys the crowd.

Stephy Auger: Look, I’m not going to deny that Lowri has had a few lucky breaks over the last year.

Kris Cruise: Lucky breaks? She’s held the Mid-Atlantic Legacy title, won a tournament to become one of the first ever United States tag team champions. Won the Steel Cage Warfare, defended those belts against one of the top teams in FGA, The Tenacious Wrecking Crew. Just recently she beat Ricky Valero to stake her claim in this match itself. And lets not forget her achievements outside of FGA, like winning the wrestling World Cup this Summer.

Stephy Auger: What are you, reading from her Wikipedia article? She’s had a good year, Cruise, I’m not going to deny that. But is she good enough to beat The Chief? I don’t think so.

The bell sounds to start the match as both competitors emerge from their corners. Almost immediately a “lets go Lowri” chant starts up, prompting the Welshwoman to acknowledge her fans before she starts circling the ring. A collar and elbow tie-up starts off proceedings, with Evan taking the upper hand as he manages to turn it into a side headlock.

Stephy Auger: There we go, Evan Envi taking charge right away.

But Lowri gets the hands up as she tries to push Evan away. She only succeeds in backing him against the ropes though, before she shoves him off and across the ring. The Chief returns with a shoulder block knocking Lowri down, seemingly much to her surprise. He runs against the ropes again as Lowri rolls over onto her front, and Evan skips over her. Moss pops back up to her feet as her opponent comes back off the ropes, and she knocks Evan down with a shoulderblock this time.

The crowd cheer as Lowri beckons him back to his feet. Evan rolls away and back to his feet before marching towards his opponent; the two of them standing toe to toe for a moment before Evan fires off a European uppercut, sending Lowri staggering backwards and against the ropes. Acting quickly, Evan moves in and Irish whips Moss across the ring, only for her to return with a shoulderblock. But Evan stays on his feet this time. Smirking, Evan offers to show her how its done as he runs against the ropes, coming back with a shoulderblock. But Lowri stays on her feet, albeit taking a step back on impact.

Kris Cruise: We appear to be at a stalemate here.

Confidently, Lowri offers to run the ropes this time. But as she returns, Evan sweeps the legs and take the tag champion to the mat before dropping down on top of her for the pin attempt.

KICKOUT!

Lowri gets the shoulder up in plenty of time, but gets caught with a rear chinlock as she sits up. The crowd still chanting her name as Evan has the hold locked in. Soon enough they’re back on their feet, however, as the hold transitions into a side headlock. A headlock takedown brings Lowri down to the mat, but she soon manages to manoeuvre her legs upwards, wrapping them around Evan’s neck. It forces a break and both competitors scramble to their feet again. Moss charges at her opponent, only for Evan to sidestep and throw her out through the middle rope.

Stephy Auger: Always a step ahead, Cruise. That’s why Evan is at the top of his field.

Kris Cruise: Lowri Moss doing what she can to try and rattle the former World champion here, but it doesn’t seem to be doing the trick so far.

Moss picks herself up on the outside, her hands on her hips as she stares out across the crowd. But that’s a mistake; Envi catches her from behind with a baseball slide, sending Lowri crashing forward into the guardrail. And The Chief pounces; he grabs her by the back of the head and slams Lowri head first into the steel steps before she staggers away. In the ring, the referee starts the ten count, but Evan rolls Lowri back into the ring before the count of two. He follows her in and drives Lowri face first into the mat with a running bulldog before rolling her over to make the cover.

KICKOUT!

Evan kneels there for a moment as the crowd cheer loudly, but he’s undeterred. He brings Lowri back to her feet once again and throws the tag champion back into the corner. The chops start flying soon enough – the crowd shouting “whoo” with each other – before Evan sets his opponent up for an Irish whip. Moss gets sent from pillar to post, hitting the turnbuckle with a thud before Evan charges in.

Kris Cruise: Great intuition from Lowri there!

He says as Moss gets the boot up, and Evan runs face first into it. A cheer goes up from the crowd as Lowri rushes out of the corner with a clothesline, taking Evan off his feet. He regains his vertical base quick enough, but Lowri is already on the move and running against the ropes. She comes back with a spinning heel kick that sends Envi crashing to the mat, but both wrestlers are quickly back to their feet again. A right hand connects, then a left, followed by another right as Lowri peppers her foe with repeated hard shots to the head and body. She goes low with a boot to the gut, and grabs him in a front facelock before springboarding off the middle rope for a tornado DDT!

Kris Cruise: What athleticism there. This could be it, Stephy,

Stephy Auger: Don’t be so eager.

Lowri hooks a leg.

Envi powers out, only for Lowri to catch him with a rear chinlock as he sits up. And he does not look amused whatsoever. As expected, Evan manages to fight back to a vertical base before too long. A few elbows to the midsection seem to weaken Lowri’s grip of the side headlock, allowing her to be picked up for a back suplex. But she flips over the back and lands on her feet before grabbing Evan with a rear waistlock and running towards the ropes. It looks like she’s going for an O’Connor roll, but Evan holds onto the top rope and sends the tag champion rolling backwards.

Stephy Auger: Now that’s great awareness, Cruise. Cutting her off before Lowri can get that momentum going again.

Moss gets back to her feet in time to duck the clothesline attempt, but she can’t dodge the back kick that doubles her over, or the DDT that follows. Evan spikes his opponent’s into the mat as Lowri flops over, but there’s no pin attempt this time. Instead Evan stands right back up and starts stomping at the head and upper body.

Kris Cruise: It looks like the former World champion has had enough of messing around, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: He understands what’s at stake tonight. It’s not just his chance to become a two-time winner, or a place in the next round of the Frontier Lions Cup. It’s revenge for his good friend, Ricky Valero.

The referee finally intervenes as Lowri reaches the bottom rope, but Evan just drags her away by the leg and stomps at her some more. That’s enough to earn an admonishment from the official, but Evan ignores him and grabs Lowri by the wrist to bring her back to a vertical base. A series of chops to the chest back the Welshwoman into the corner once again. This time, however, she’s placed in the tree of woe position.

Kris Cruise: This does not look good for Lowri Moss…

Evan takes a few steps back to admire the view, smirking at his helpless opponent before he charges in with a running kick to the chest. The referee can only count down as he unleashes a series of stomps, stopping before the ten count. The crowd booing all the while, but Evan doesn’t let up that easily. He stops Lowri from falling down, instead grabbing her in an inverted facelock and lifting her upwards. A reverse DDT follows, and Evan covers with a forearm across the face.

A cheer goes up as Lowri kicks out again, and Evan just looks over towards the referee. The official assures him it was just a two count, but the former World champion isn’t pleased by it.

‘Envi sucks!!!!’

‘ENVI SUCKS!!!!’

The chant growing louder as Evan looks out across the crowd with disdain on his face. His opponent just starting to move on the mat as he drags Lowri back up by a handful of hair. Head first she’s sent into the top turnbuckle before she stumbles away. Evan moves towards the corner himself, sitting atop the turnbuckle as Lowri gets a second wind! She rushes in, trying to catch him – but Evan gets a boot up right to the face! She staggers away again, bending over as Lowri clutches at her face. And Evan leaps off the middle rope with a senton bomb to the back of his opponent!

Kris Cruise: Well I wasn’t expecting that, but it might have done the trick here.

Stephy Auger: Evan Envi can come at you from any direction, with any number of moves, Cruise. He’s unpredictable. And Lowri is finding that out the hard way here.

Evan rolls his opponent over for another pin attempt, that forearm across the face again.

Another cheer from the crowd as Lowri gets the shoulder up in the nick of time. Frustrated, Evan drags Lowri back to her feet again and chops at her chest – only for Moss to respond with a forearm strike to the head!

Kris Cruise: She’s not done yet!

Another chop from Evan, and Lowri again responds with a forearm strike to the head. Back and forth the two trade blows until Evan manages to gain the upper hand; he lands a few chops in quick succession before running back against the ropes behind him for momentum. When he comes back, however, he notices Lowri isn’t there. She’s run against the ropes as well, coming back and catching a stood still Evan Envi with a surprise crucifix driver!

Stephy Auger: No, she can’t do that.

Kris Cruise: Lowri Moss may have bought herself some time here. What can she from here though?

The back of Evan’s head bounces off the mat, and both competitors are down for a moment. The fans in attendance rallying behind the tag champion as Lowri crawls towards the ropes, using them to bring herself back to a vertical base. She’s followed close behind by Evan, who appears uneasy on his feet as Lowri approaches with a series of forearm strikes to the head. An Irish whip follows, sending Evan chest first into the nearest turnbuckle. He staggers backwards, right into the waiting arms of Lowri Moss and a bridging German suplex!

Stephy Auger: In the nick of time!

A look of disappointment is etched on the face of Lowri Moss as she sits back up, so sure that was going to be enough. Slowly, she brings herself back to a vertical base with Evan in tow. Another Irish whip ensues as Evan is sent towards the corner – NO! He reverses it and Lowri is the one who hits the turnbuckle back first. Envi charges in with an avalanche attack – NO! Lowri dodges the attack and Evan hits the turnbuckle chest first! He turns around and collapses backwards in the corner, but Lowri is already on the move.

Moss runs to the opposite corner and comes charging back in with a big boot to the face of the former World Champion! It’s enough to cause Evan to fall down to a seated position, and Lowri runs against the ropes, coming back with a facewash this time! The crowd are on their feet with excitement as Lowri Moss appears to be getting her second wind. Excited, she brings Evan up out of the corner by his wrist, before positioning him in the pumphandle position.

Kris Cruise: What does she have in mind here I wonder.

Stephy Auger: Nothing good, that’s for sure!

The grip transitions somewhat, as Lowri seems to be setting her opponent up for a pumphandle fisherman suplex. But Evan uses his free hand to land a shot to the ribs. And another. And a third one before Lowri is forced to release her grip. Both competitors take a step back to recompose themselves, before Lowri lunges forward with a clothesline attempt – NO! Evan catches the arm and counters with a mean looking uranage!

Stephy Auger: I stand corrected! What a counter by The Chief!

Both competitors are down again, motionless on the mat as the crowd begin to boo. Lowri and Evan are once again beginning to stir. The two slowly return to their feet before they start trading blows again. Forearms flying back and forth between Lowri and Evan until eventually the former World champion starts to gain the upper hand.

But Evan lunges forward with a forearm strike, only to have it ducked. Lowri catches her opponent with a back kick to the gut before catching him with a Switchblade Kick to the back of the head. The sound of Low's foot connecting with the Chief's head echoes throughout the arena as Envi drops down to a knee. The Chief is glassy eyed and can barely keep himself up on his knee. The US Tag Champ is quick to take advantage of his positioning and darts towards the ropes. Moss bounces off the ropes, comes back and connects with a Shining Wizard that flattens Envi. Moss heads into the corner and behind waving up the Chief. Shouts of "C'mon!" can be heard escaping from the lips of the US Tag Champion. The cheers get louder as Envi starts to stir on the mat. But not in support of Envi. Instead, the crowd is cheering in hopes of Envi getting his head kicked off his shoulders. Moss' waves get more and more frantic as Envi gets closer to getting back to his feet. Once Envi returns to his feet and turns around, Moss comes out of the corner and throws out the Breuddwydion Melus (Superkick)! The crowd cheers... only to immediately gasp once the Chief catches Moss' foot. After swinging the leg away from him, Envi quickly hooks Moss from behind before bringing her down with Guess Who (inverted into a snap backbreaker)! Envi makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout…EVAN ENVI!

Stephy Auger: He did it! The Chief is through to the next round!

Kris Cruise: Lowri Moss looked like she was about to knock Evan Envi out with her patented superkick. But Envi was able to counter and put Moss away with Guess Who. That moves came out of nowhere, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: She never saw it coming. But maybe she did see this coming. HERE COMES SILK & CYANIDE!

The boos continue as Erin Mariani and Sara Mason. The members of Silk & Cyanide are quick to pounce on Moss! Mason and Mariani continue to put the boots to Moss. Mariani then steps back before dropping down to a knee. Once Mason pulls Moss back to her feet, she runs across the ring and delivers the Vow (one-handed bulldog by Mason across Mariani's knee)!

Kris Cruise: Good God! Lowri Moss was just driven face-first across Erin Mariani's knee!

Stephy Auger: Good! Do it again!

Kris Cruise: What is wrong with you!?

The boos continue to ring throughout the arena as Silk & Cyanide stomp away on Moss. They then reach down and hoist Moss up for the Haute Tension (double team inverted crucifix powerbomb)! The boos in the arena quickly return to cheers as they see Neal Durden sprinting down to the ring with a steel chair.

Kris Cruise: Here comes Neal Durden!

As soon as Durden slides into the ring, Silk & Cyanide drop Moss. They then retreat to the outside as Durden runs over and starts swinging the steel chair wildly. Durden continues to stalk them from inside the ring. Silk & Cyanide stay outside, happy with the chaos they’ve wrought tonight.

Tonight, Izzy Anders bore the infectious energy of a new champion. With the Pride Championship on her shoulder, fresh with the new nameplate, Izzy gave the camera a cute wave.

Izzy Anders: Hello, everyone, it’s Izzy Anders, your new Pride Champion.

Izzy Anders: This is usually the part where I get to tease Spencer Burke but I have a new tactic for that tonight. Since Spencer is probably running around, I decided to head on over to my good friends, the sound crew, and snatch--I mean, borrow one of these.

Izzy has always been agile when it came to handling the microphone. A part of the spectacle of seeing her speak was witnessing how exactly she could twirl the microphone in her hand. Sometimes, it was even to the point of her balancing it on a finger. Tonight, she merely flipped it around in her hand.

Izzy Anders: So the question is how exactly can I co-exist with Chandler Scott? KOL? He’s starting to become like the brother I never had, someone that I can mess with on a common basis. Ashlyn de Luca? We had our spat but I have no legitimate beef with her yet. I think we can co-exist. But Chandler? Hoo, boy.

Izzy rolled her eyes and snickered.

Izzy Anders: Did you know that out of all the high profile matches that happened in FGA between the mainstays, I have never had an one on one match with Chandler Scott? Or how tonight this is the first time that Jimmy Page and I have ever stepped foot in the same ring together? Tonight is going to be wild, and it’s a good way to start off my reign as Pride Champion.

Izzy Anders: Buuuuuut, Chandler’s a dick. Now I did attack him once when I was World Champion but...have you met him? You would want to kick him in the head too, just once. However, Chandler and I can agree on one tiny thing. We both probably searched throughout every possible reason why we would just kick each other before, during, or after this match but we found the exact reason on why we can forge one of the scariest looking teams to stand on one side of the ring.

The new Pride Champion snickered.

Izzy Anders: Man, James Edwards is kind of just...the worst, you know? I don’t mean that he’s a bad competitor, no, but he’s one of those guys that got too big for his britches. Now, I’m not one to hate on a guy that tries to shoot his shot in a professional way, but James comes off as the guy that thinks his resume makes him someone here in FGA. Sure, he had one great match, maybe two if I can recall, but he whined his way into the title match he got against Chandler. I might not like Chandler but I know that he’s a man that respects the core values of this company--even the ones that I still believe in.

She had to throw the snide comment at the company, still lingering on some of her political hatred.

Izzy Anders: For that alone, I can see why James Edwards annoys the piss out of Chandler. He annoys the piss out of me. He has the ugliest looking lips I’ve ever seen--HAVE YOU SEEN HIS TWITTER HEADER?

The champion has to compose herself.

Izzy Anders: No, no, I’m not going to lose my cool over that. All he needs for Christmas is some help, some chapstick, and some common sense.

A quick sigh.

Izzy Anders: I don’t want to see a loss on my record to James Edwards because he doesn’t appreciate the fact that FGA is a place where you make your destiny with your ability, not with your whining. Everyone in that ring tonight respects that journey, and I’ll be damned if Edwards can walk away with his head held on just the memories of a dead federation.

Izzy Anders: Chandler and I won’t be friends, I don’t think. One day, we’ll clash and it’ll be something to witness. Tonight, just see how powerful both of us can be when we just want to ruin a person’s day.

Once she was finished, Izzy put down the microphone on a nearby crate. She began to tiptoe away, where the voices of the searching stagehands could be heard in the background. From there, the feed began to transition elsewhere in the arena.

[FGA Office]

The show cuts backstage to where Dom Harter is standing alongside Annie Zellor. Both are dressed in their Santa hats, leather jackets, and New Murder branded bandanas, with the difference being that Dom is wearing his ring attire while Annie has on jeans and a ‘Hot Wings’ t-shirt. She stands in front of her boyfriend, bouncing from foot to foot as Dom stands stoically still. He pulls down his bandana to speak.

Dom Harter: This year…

He starts, pausing only to chuckle to himself.

Dom Harter: …might not have started as we would’ve liked. From the heady heights of - seemingly finally! – vanquishing Lowri Moss…we saw Pendragon pick themselves back up, and even become tag champions. We saw the return of Malcolm Drake.

Annie shakes her head at the mention of Malcolm’s name.

Dom Harter: But Chris will deal with him soon enough. We saw the rise of Jimmy Page. His becoming a hero to the FGA fans; winning the Gold Rush Rumble in our absence; becoming FGA World Champion…again. And I spent so long on the sidelines. So long…waiting.

Pause. Annie stops bouncing, instead standing upright as Dom places his hands on her shoulders.

Annie Zellor: But now? The wait is almost over!

Dom Harter: Damn right. Because we’re not staying down. 2018: A New Odyssey, Capital Combat. These shows – those failures – aren’t going to define this year for me. For us. The New Murder is never down for long. We’re going to pick ourselves up by the bootstraps. And right here we’ve got the next FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy champion…

Annie nods her head, smirking as she does so.

Dom Harter: Next week Chris Bond will put an end to Malcolm Drake, once and for all. And me?

Another pause as that familiar crooked grin spreads across Dom’s face.

Dom Harter: Me? You see, while I’ve been picking myself up. While you’ve all been intent on kicking me while I was down. I haven’t forgotten what happened two years ago, when I had this same opportunity. The chance to complete my Golden Crown. Because TONIGHT is the most important match of my year. Those victories – the triumphs – against the likes of Aokigahara Zombie, Emery Layton, Eddie Jacobs, Josh Kennedy…do they matter if I don’t get through to the next round of the Frontier Lions Cup? Do they matter if I don’t go on to Final Frontier next week and achieve my destiny!

Dom gesticulates as he talks, but Annie keeps smirking to herself as she resumes bouncing from one foot to the other in front of him.

Dom Harter: Of course they do. You people won’t take away from achievements. You can’t. Nobody can. But tonight is going to be a war. And Seth Iser may be the greatest mind in wrestling, but you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time. You’re standing in the way of history, Seth. And I’m not about to let you stop me. We’re going to hit the ground running for next year, but right now: this is my time. This is my moment. This is my Golden Crown. And nobody is going to stop me!

With that, Annie throws up the #grrface with the devil horns before she and Dom walk off to the side, allowing the scene to fade to black.

Frontier Lions Cup (First Round)
Dom Harter vs. Seth Iser

The lights dim down as the music begins to play. Soon enough, Seth Iser slowly walks through the curtain with that familiar scowl on his face. He absorbs the reaction he gets from the crowd as he slowly walks down to the ring.

b]J.A. Aldridge:[/b][/color] Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is a first round match in the Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, from Morgantown, West Virginia! Weighing in at 245 pounds… SETH ISER!

He then rolls underneath the bottom rope and performs a crucifix pose in the center of the ring which brings the lights back on. He then slinks to the corner in a seated position to await the bell.

Kris Cruise: We’re back, Stephy, with another Vertigo first round match in the Frontier Lions Cup! Seth Iser, the so-called Wrestling’s Greatest Mind, will go one on one with Dom Harter! How do you see this fairing?

Stephy Auger: I think Iser put it perfectly. He doesn’t have to outhit Harter. He doesn’t have to work harder than him. He has to work smarter and Iser is as smart and as slick as they come in the ring. He already knocked out Izzy Anders in the qualifiers. With the upsets we’ve seen in this tournament, is Iser beating Harter out of the question?

Kris Cruise: I don’t think so. Earlier tonight, Iser stated that his win over Izzy makes him first in line for a shot at the new Pride Champion. What do you make of that?

Stephy Auger: I think Iser is positioning himself for one hell of a week. On Night One, he wins the Frontier Lions Cup. On Night Two, he wins the Pride Championship for good measure!

Kris Cruise: Well I think you’re putting the cart before the horse. One, he hasn’t even gotten past Harter yet and two, there’s no word on if Izzy will actually accept Iser’s proposal.

Stephy Auger: I don’t see why she wouldn’t. Unless she’s scared. You don’t think she’s scared, do you?

I SEE YOU STANDING ALL BY YOURSELF

The opening chords of “Low Self Opinion” begin to play throughout the arena as the crowd really, really begin to boo. After nearly twenty seconds or so, Dom Harter finally steps out from behind the curtain, and the boos only grow louder than before! The Tenacious Little Bastard throws his arms out to either side as he surveys the scene, soaking in the boos and the jeers. Slowly, Harter pulls the bandana down from over his face to reveal the ever familiar crooked grin plastered on his face, before posing with his arms out to the side again.

b]J.A. Aldridge:[/b][/color] And his opponent, from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 235 pounds! He is “The Tenacious Little Bastard”, DOM HARTER!

Harter begins to stride down the aisle, nodding his head to the music as he pays little mind to the FGA fans. They continue booing though, as Harter climbs up the ring steps. He stops on the apron, wiping his feet before he climbs in through the middle rope; once inside the squared circle, Harter climbs up to the middle rope, and removes his leather jacket and bandana, ready for the match to start.

Kris Cruise: Harter would love for nothing more than to win the Frontier Lions Cup and complete the Golden Crown. It’s one of the few accolades missing from his already impressive collection. But he has to get past Seth Iser, who has proven time and time again over the course of his FGA tenure that he is far from an easy out.

Stephy Auger: Like I said before, Seth is a slickster. But Harter is a trickster himself! Iser may be Wrestling’s Greatest Mind. But Harter is called the Tenacious Little Bastard for a reason, Cruise! He’s not going to give up easily in there. He will keep coming at Iser until he knocks him down long enough for the three count!

The bell sounds as Harter and Iser meet in the center of the ring. Words are exchanged between two of the more villainous members of the FGA roster. They then motion to turn away from each other… only to turn back and sucker punch each other!

Kris Cruise: They tried to sneak one past each other as soon as the bell sounded! But they both had the same idea in mind!

Stephy Auger: Great minds think alike.

Both grapplers grab their jaw. After giving each other a look, Harter and Iser start brawling in the center of the ring.

Kris Cruise: Look at ‘em go, Stephy!

The crowd cheers as Harter and Iser continue to fire away. But the crowd isn’t cheering in support of cheer. They’re cheering at the sight of them beating each other up!

Stephy Auger: They aren’t holding anything back! Back and forth, back and forth! If they keep this pace up, they’re going to tire themselves out!

Both grapplers continue to exchange punches until Harter ducks a right cross from Iser and counters with a rake to the eyes! He then takes Iser and whips him into the ropes. When Iser returns, Harter sets up for a back body drop. Iser sees Harter in perfect position. So he stops and pulls him into a front facelock.

Kris Cruise: Uh oh!

Stephy Auger: OH MAN!

The crowd gasps upon seeing Harter seconds away from being planted with the Deprivation DDT (Jake Roberts-style DDT). But Harter is quick to shove Iser away from him before taking several steps back. Harter looks around before turning back to Iser, who gives a look that lets Harter know that he had him. As The Tenacious Little Bastard circles the ring, Harter turns and sees Vincent Moretti holding his thumb and index finger about an inch apart. Harter then goes over and kicks the bottom rope to drive Moretti back. Iser then looks to rush over and take advantage. He throws out a lariat from behind. But Harter slips out of the way. When Iser turns around, Harter bashes him with a forearm smash! He then knocks Iser closer to the corner with another forearm smash. He then shoves Iser into the corner before delivering repeated shoulder thrusts. Harter follows up with a headbutt. He then takes Iser by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But Iser reverses, sending Harter across the ring and into the corner. Iser runs over to attack when Harter throws out a boot to the face. But Iser catches his foot. He then drags Harter from out of the corner while taunting him along the way. He then brings Harter down to the mat with a dragon screw leg whip! While still having a hold of the leg, Iser looks to go for a Figure Four Leg lock. But Harter uses his free leg to kick away at Iser until one of the upkicks knocks Iser down. Iser tries to get back to his feet. But Harter beats him to the punch and knocks him back down with a knee lift. He then drops down, lifts up Iser’s left legs and delivers kicks to the back before turning him over into a single leg crab.

The ref gets down and asks Iser if he wants to give up. When Iser refuses, Harter cups the knee with his left hand while pulling the back of the leg.

Kris Cruise: Harter’s got Iser trapped in the crab!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, and look at which leg he’s targeting!

Moretti shouts words of encouragement to Iser. Meanwhile, Harter is yelling at Iser to tap. But Iser refuses. The veteran begins to pull himself towards the side of the ring. Moretti can be seen slapping the apron with both hands. Iser continues to pull himself towards the side of the ring… until Harter stands up, drags Iser back to the center and reapplies the single leg crab.

Kris Cruise: Not so fast!

Harter repeatedly yells at Iser to tap. But Iser vehemently refuses. Moretti tries to will Iser by waving him towards the ropes. Iser reaches out, but he’s nowhere near them. The ref asks if he wants to give up. But again, Iser refuses. Iser starts to pull himself back towards the ropes. Harter can be seen shaking his head in disbelief. Moretti slaps the apron vehemently while Iser continues to make progress. Harter can be seen hanging on for dear life. Iser then reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope!

Kris Cruise: He made it!

The ref gives Harter until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Harter reluctantly breaks the hold. He reaches down, pulls up Iser and delivers a headbutt to the lower back. He then turns Iser around and delivers a knife edge chop. More knife edge chops follow, which knock Iser back into a corner. The Tenacious Little Bastard then takes Iser and whips him into the far corner. Harter runs across the ring and hurls himself at Iser with an attack. But Iser slips out of the way, causing Harter to crash knees-first into the corner. Iser then drags Harter from out of the corner and delivers an elbow drop to the leg. He returns to his feet, lifts Harter’s leg back up and drops another elbow across it. Iser gets back up, turns, drops down and applies a figure four leg lock. The crowd cheers at the sight of Harter howling in pain.

Kris Cruise: The second time’s the charm for Seth Iser!

Stephy Auger: Now it’s Harter that’s trapped in a submission!

The ref gets down and asks Harter if he wants to give up. But Harter refuses. He then reaches out to grab Iser’s beard. But Iser leans back just far enough that he’s out of reach. Iser then repeats falls back on the mat to increase the pressure. Harter cringes as he slowly lowers himself down. As soon as Harter’s shoulders hit the mat, the ref drops down for the count.

Kris Cruise: Harter’s got to be careful!

Iser continues to keep the hold applied. Moretti can be seen slapping the apron before yelling at Harter to tap out. But The Tenacious Little Bastard won’t quit. He tries to turn over to his left. But Iser blocks by turning to his right. Harter then tries to turn over to his right. But again, Iser blocks by turning to his left. Harter drops his back down on the mat. The ref is quick to make the count.

Harter gets his shoulder up once more.

Harter slowly sits up. The ref asks him once more if he’d like to give up. But Harter declines. The Tenacious Little Bastard goes to scoot himself backwards towards the ropes. Iser sees this, so he hangs on for dear life. He tries to make it as hard as possible for Harter to drag him across the ring. Harter leans back and reaches the ropes, but he’s not quite there. So Harter sits back up before struggling to scoot himself backwards towards the ropes. Harter reaches back and is about to grab the bottom rope… when Moretti reaches over and pulls the bottom rope out of Harter’s reach. The crowd cheers while Harter keeps reaching out for the ropes. The ref then goes over and scolds Moretti. Moretti reluctantly releases the bottom rope, allowing Harter to grab it. The ref then calls for a rope break.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Iser reluctantly breaks the hold. He returns to his feet, picks up Harter and whips him into the far ropes. When Harter returns, Iser lifts him up, steps back and drops him throat-first across the top rope with a Stun Gun! After Harter goes down, Iser bounces against the ropes, comes back and delivers a knee drop. He then proceeds to grind his bulky knee brace across Harter’s face! Iser picks Harter back up, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. A punch to the kidney causes Harter to arch his back. After turning Harter around, Iser connects with a straight right to the jaw that sends the Tenacious Little Bastard slumping down in the corner. Iser follows up with a foot choke…

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Iser reluctantly breaks the choke. He reaches down, pulls up Harter and whips him hard into the opposite corner. As Harter staggers away from the corner, Iser scoops him up and throws him down with the Pillar of Truth (Bossman Slam)! He hooks the leg.

Iser picks up Harter and doubles him over with multiple knees to the midsection. He then pulls Harter into a front facelock before lifting him in the air. Moretti applauds while Iser holds Harter in place. Harter continues to be held upside down before Iser falls back to complete the stalling vertical suplex! He turns over into a lateral press.

Iser picks up Harter, delivers an irish whip and follows him across the ring. As soon as Harter bounces off the ropes, Iser connects with a Wrestling II knee lift, knocking Harter through the ropes and to the floor. Harter can be seen holding his head while Iser paces back and forth in the ring. The ref starts his count.

Kris Cruise: Harter has been rocked by Iser. Can The Tenacious Little Bastard return to the ring before the ten count?

Harter slowly turns over before pulling himself up using the edge of the apron. As Harter pulls himself up onto the apron, Iser marches over to attack. He’s about to grab Harter when Harter ducks out of reach and counters with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He nails Iser with another shoulder thrust before pulling him into a front facelock. Moretti’s eyes widen. He then waves his hands at Harter. He pleads with him not to do it. Harter responds by flashing him his familiar crooked grin before sending Iser to the outside with a vertical suplex off the apron!

Kris Cruise: Harter with a big suplex to the floor off the apron!

Stephy Auger: Did you hear that impact when Iser landed!?

Harter gets up on the outside and puts the boots to Iser. He then picks Iser up, pulls him into a front facelock and plants him with a DDT on the floor! Harter then rolls back inside and lets the ref continue to count.

Kris Cruise: Iser just got a taste of his own medicine with a DDT!

Stephy Auger: Right onto the floor! He might be out!

He then slips down from behind before shoving Harter off into the ropes. When Harter returns, he sees Iser setting up for a back body drop. So he stops, grabs Iser by the tights and spikes him with a pulling piledriver! He turns over and makes the cover.

Iser slowly pulls Harter back to his feet. He proceeds to nail Harter with three jabs. Iser follows up with a discus clothesline. But Harter ducks. He quickly grabs Iser from behind and goes for a ripcord headbutt. But when Iser turns and faces Harter, he reaches out and applies the Injection of Poison (Mandible Claw) with his free hand! Iser goes to put Harter away when Harter reaches out and thumbs him in the eye! While Iser covers his eye, Harter doubles over as he tries to recover from the submission. When he stands back up and turns Iser around, Iser nails him with a straight right to the jaw! Harter follows up with a European Uppercut! Iser then answers back with a European Uppercut! Harter returns the favor with another European Uppercut of his own! Iser comes back with another European Uppercut! Harter answers back with another European Uppercut of his own! Iser motions for a European Uppercut when Harter cuts him off with a European Uppercut! Harter then motions for another European Uppercut when Iser cuts him off with one of his own! The two are momentarily dazed. Once they recover, they swing their legs out and kick each other below the belt!!! The crowd explodes with cheers as both grapplers double over before crumbling to the mat.

Kris Cruise: Harter and Iser just low blowed each other at the same time!

Stephy Auger: I think the ref even saw it!

Both grapplers are curled up on the ground in pain. The ref can be seen yelling at both grapplers. He continues to admonish them. Harter then points at Iser for low blowing him and wants him disqualified. Iser then points right back at Harter and wants him disqualified for kicking low. The ref has had enough. He yells at both of them and let’s them no that he won’t be DQing either of them. He instructs them to continue on!

Kris Cruise: The referee isn’t letting either of them take the easy way out. He wants them to fight it out!

Harter and Iser slowly get up on their knees. They then slowly get back to a vertical base. Iser cuts Harter off with a European Uppercut! Another European Uppercut knocks the Tenacious Little Bastard back! Iser then marches over, moves Harter into the near ropes and then shoves him off into the afr ropes. When Harter returns, Iser throws him across the ring with a release belly to belly suplex! He then goes over, picks up Harter and sits him down on the top turnbuckle. Iser climbs up onto the middle ropes with hopes of hitting a superplex. But before he can grab Harter, the Tenacious Little bastard nails him with right hands to the face. He then palms Iser’s face before shoving him down to the mat! Harter slowly gets up and stands up on the top turnbuckle. But Harter’s still uncomfortable at being at that height inside the ring. Iser takes advantage and runs into the ropes, causing Harter to slip, fall and end up crotched on the top turnbuckle! Iser then heads into the corner, climbs up onto the middle ropes, grabs Harter and brings him down with a superplex! He turns over into a lateral press.

He then turns and heads into the ropes. When Iser comes back, he throws out a discus clothesline. But Harter ducks. When Iser turns around, Harter lifts him up and throws him down with a sitout spinebuster! He then picks up Iser, lifts him up across his shoulders and brings him down with a Ushigoroshi! Harter picks up Iser and positions him Down with the Crown (Tombstone Piledriver). But Iser kicks his legs, forcing Harter to bend back! Once Iser lands on his feet, he lifts Harter up and positions him for Black Magick (Tombstone Piledriver)!! However, Harter kicks his legs, forcing Iser to lean back! Once Harter lands on his feet, he lifts up Iser and drops him on his head with Down with the Crown!!! He pulls Iser back up, hooks both arms, lifts him up and plants him with the Last Exit (lifting double underhook piledriver)!!! He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: What a hard fought, back and forth match we just witnessed. Wrestling’s Greatest Mind and The Tenacious Little Bastard threw everything they had at each other. But in the end, Dom Harter advances, earning himself a spot in the Quarterfinals of the Frontier Lions Cup!

Backstage at Quicken Loans Arena, Piper Lennon was wandering through the halls as she was apt to do. The only big difference between this and any other time you'd encounter her being a sketchy weirdo was that she was bundled up in winter clothes to the degree you might call it excessive, especially since she had a match coming up shortly-- a match of very important stakes. Spotting the camera crew, she shivered, seemingly playing it up.

Piper Lennon: Winter, amirite? People talk about global warming and all that, and I'm not denying it, but I'm from SoCal, this is like Antarctica to me. And as much as I love to push my limits, explore and adventure, I kind of feel like I'd better make this trip worth it if I'm risking freezing to death, exciting as that may sound.

After that exaggerated statement of how cold it is, she whirls around and continues.

Piper Lennon: Lucky I have something that looks like it'll be worth my time. This whole Frontier Lions Cup is just spilling over with opportunities to begin with, and tangling up with Ms. Fujiko of the Friday clan, that's exciting in its own right. Not just getting to solve the mystery of 'just how much boob is too much to heart punch through' but the spectacle of it all. There's a buzz, an attention she brings on herself that follows her around-- she thrives with all eyes on her.

She lets a beat skip.

Piper Lennon: Now that's not how I roll really, I'm more of the observer, the notetaker than the observee. But the fact is, with this amount of attention on her, with the stakes that a situation like this brings, that brings excitement. I get to really get up close and personal with her as she's at a crossroads of if she'll break through to finally be the main event, or just drift back to being someone people like to see, and eventually settle back into the Pride title picture.

Lennon starts demonstratively gesturing with her hands, as if this is spelling her point out.

Piper Lennon: I don't need the hooplah, I don't need the fanfare, I don't even need anyone to vote me for any of those awards I guess I got nominated for or whatever. I know some people are begging for votes, and that's cool, but I'm kinda operating on a different wavelength. What I see when I see this tournament, and the prize at the end of the line, the title shot? I see opportunity for me to have the luxury of only scrapping, taking part in the most exciting, the most breathtaking, the most enlightening shindigs. This is cool, being in there with Jimmy Page is cool, but selfishly once I get a taste of that, I want more. I want to really take apart these puzzles, see how they work, see if I can put them back together-- and if I can't do the latter?

A shrug.

Piper Lennon: Well I might've made a mess, but at least I learned something.

She flashes a smile.

Piper Lennon: So I'm stoked, because while all the eyes are on the other side of the ring, I can feel myself creeping closer and closer to that reality. I was right there at the end in that battle royal with Ms. Friday and those last few, side by side, amongst them. So I'm gonna saunter on down to that ring, strip on down out of these layers to my ring gear, and see what happens. I know she's the one that's the foodie or whatever, but right now I can taste something ... I don't know what it is, it might taste like ass but y'know I believe in just going ahead and taking that bite.

A wink, and a sharp exhale.

The arena lights dim as the instrumental version of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" begins to play. A few moments pass before Piper Lennon ambles out from behind the curtain, pausing at the top of the ramp to survey her surroundings. She zigs and zags, taking her time as she makes her way down the ramp, taking everything in but not paying the fans any particular mind. After circling halfway around the ring, she removes her jacket and camera, leaving them at the timekeeper's area.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is a first round match in the Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, from La Jolla, California! Weighing in at 133 pounds… PIPER LENNON!

She stops in front of the announce desk, leaning back against it and staring up at the ceiling. Only then does she pick the pace up, lurching forward and sliding under the bottom rope into the ring, then popping up to her feet. She takes her corner, slouching back and drumming her fingers as she waits for the match to begin.

Kris Cruise: Piper Lennon is dialed in for tonight’s First Round match against Fujiko Mine!

Stephy Auger: She lives for moments like this! She wants to go in there and scrap with some of the most exciting competitors this brand offers.

On the third one, A spotlight and the camera focuses in on the emerging figure of Fujiko Mine, who stands at one of the crowd entrances. Over her ring attire is a shirt that has her "Apex Goddess" logo on it. Behind her, the imposing XENA has her arms folded. Fujiko keeps her movements a bit reserved, but it is clear she is enjoying the music as the crowd is. She begins to make her way down the steps, dancing and bobbing down the steps until she reaches the arena floor.


J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Weighing at 152 pounds! She is the “Apex Goddess”, FUJIKO MINE!

After maneuvering through a cleared aisle in the crowd, Fujiko reaches the ringside area, and follows it up with a graceful handspring onto and over the guardrail. She quickly runs up the steps, then hops onto the top turnbuckle. Xena clears the guardrail behind her, and a single spotlight converges on the woman known as the Apex Goddess. She hooks herself up on top, and as the title of the song comes around, she throws her hands up, fingers outstretched each time.

Each time, blue and yellow streamers are thrown over her posing form. She takes any lingering streamers off her person, and then she comes down off the turnbuckle.

She motions for the crowd to join in, and they oblige, the entire arena filled as the crowd joins in...

Fujiko grins widely, then pulls the shirt off over her head and tosses it into the crowd. She then leans into the nearest corner before the match begins.

Fujiko poses on the top turnbuckle, her hands outstretched over her head and her eyes closed. Some fans toss blue and yellow streamers in, which cascade over her, around her, and into the ring. The lights return to normal. She gets down off the top turnbuckle, and removes the streamers from her person before the match begins.

Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine is coming off a loss at the Seven Year Anniversary Show to Izzy Anders...

Stephy Auger: ANOTHER loss to The Mindkiller, might I add!

Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine put on quite a show here in 2018 as Pride Champion. But you heard Fujiko before. She’s grieved. She’s come to terms with that loss and now it’s time to look forward. The Apex Goddess has her sights set on the Apex of FGA!

The match starts with Fujiko and Lennon locking up. After jockeying for position, Lennon moves Fujiko across the ring and presses her against the ropes. The ref gives them until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both grapplers make a clean break. While Fujiko’s got her arms in the air, the crowd boos when Lennon nails her with a throat cross chop. She then takes Fujiko, turns and tosses her through the ropes and onto the apron. Lennon then reaches down, grabs Fujiko by the legs and hooks her arms around them. She then leans back, catapulting Fujiko throat-first into the bottom rope.

Kris Cruise: Good God, Lennon! She’s going right after the throat of Fujiko Mine!

Stephy Auger: Good! Hopefully we won’t have to wear her mouth anymore!

Fujiko clutches her throat and begins coughing loudly. Lennon then drags her back in before making the cover.

Lennon picks up Fujiko, marches over towards the ropes and chokes her across the top rope while pressing down on her neck from behind. The ref gives Lennon until the count of five to break the choke.

Lennon breaks the choke. She then grabs Fujiko from the side before bringing her down with a russian leg sweep. She then reaches down, grabs the former Pride Champion by the hair and drags her back towards the center of the ring. Lennon circles Fujiko before delivering a Garvin Stomp to the limbs. She goes to follow up with a jumping stomp to the face. But Fujiko reaches up and catches her foot. Fujiko slowly returns to a vertical base before knocking Lennon off her feet with a leg sweep. When Lennon gets back up, Fujiko grabs her and whips her into the ropes. When Lennon returns, the crowd cheers as Fujiko brings her down with a hurricanrana. She then mounts herself on top of Lennon and rains down right hands to the face.

Kris Cruise: The former Pride Champion is unloading on Piper Lennon!

Stephy Auger: CLOSED FISTS! CLOSED FISTS! Why isn’t the referee disqualifying her!

Kris Cruise: Fujiko isn’t doing anything worthy of being disqualified.

Fujiko picks up Lennon and whips her into the corner. She runs across the ring to attack when Lennon counters with a boot to the face. She then grabs Fujiko, tosses her into the corner and unleashes rights and lefts to the midsection. Lennon then takes Fujiko, delivers an irish whip and follows her across the ring. Instead of crashing into the corner, Fujiko grabs the ropes before bringing Lennon down with a corner slingshot headscissors. Lennon gets back to her feet as Fujiko runs out of the corner. She then knocks Lennon back to the mat with a dropkick. Lennon returns to her feet, only to get quickly returned to the mat with another dropkick. Fujiko then grabs Lennon and shoots her into the ropes. Fujiko throws out a front dropkick. But she does so too early, allowing Lennon to hang onto the ropes. The crowd boos as Lennon watches Fujiko crash back-first on the mat.

Stephy Auger: Looks like SOMEONE went to the well one too many times.

Lennon casually makes her way over and goes to grab Fujiko. But before Lennon can attack, Fujiko counters with a kip up headscissors takeover. When both grapplers return to their feet, Fujiko goes for an irish whip. But Lennon reverses, sending Fujiko into the ropes. Instead of bouncing off the ropes, Fujiko baseball slides out onto the apron. Lennon runs over to attack when Fujiko doubles her over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. A rose-assisted gamengiri follows, knocking Lennon back. Fujiko then goes for a springboard maneuver. But Lennon lunges forward and shoves Fujiko in mid air, sending the former Pride Champion tumbling to the floor!

While Fujiko is on the outside, the crowd boos when Lennon runs along the apron, hops off and crashes on top of her with a Cactus Elbow! She then mounts herself on top of Fujiko before returning the favor with right hands to the face. Lennon grabs Fujiko by the hair and pulls her up. She then runs down ringside before flinging Fujiko towards the steel steps! The crowd boos when Fujiko crashes into them! Lennon picks up Fujiko, slams her face-first onto the apron and rolls her back inside. Lennon then reaches back in, drags Fujiko’s upper body back onto onto the apron delivers pointed elbows strikes to the face and chest. She then climbs up onto the apron and takes a few steps back. Lennon then runs forward, leaps up and connects with a jumping double stomp that knocks Fujiko off the apron and send sher falling hard to the floor!

Kris Cruise: Piper Lennon is beating the hell out of Fujiko Mine! She is being vicious in her attack here tonight!

Stephy Auger: It’s Piper Lennon. What exactly did you expect?

Lennon picks up Fujiko and rolls her back inside. She then rolls back in and makes the cover.

Lennon picks up Fujiko and slams her face-first onto the top turnbuckle. She then lifts Fujiko up before sitting her down on the top turnbuckle. Lennon climbs up onto the middle ropes and goes for a belly to back superplex, but Fujiko blocks the move. Lennon then tries to muscle Fujiko up for another belly to back superplex. But again, Fujiko blocks the move. When Lennon lets go, Fujiko nails her with back elbows to the face. The last of which knocks Lennon off the ropes and sends her down to the mat. Once Fujiko stands up on the top turnbuckle, she flips off for moonsault. Lennon counters by getting her knees up. But Fujiko purposely overshoots the mark and lands on her feet with Lennon in front of her. Fujiko then reaches down, grabs Lennon by the legs and rolls her back. Once Lennon rolls over onto her knees, the crowd cheers when Fujiko quickly grabs her and plants her with a Kneeling DDT! She makes the cover.

Fujiko picks up Lennon and goes for an irish whip. But Lennon reverses, sending Fujiko towards the ropes. Fujiko uses the momentum to her advantage and counters with a handspring rebound enzuigiri! While Lennon is dazed, Fujiko takes her and whips her into the corner. The Apex Goddess then runs across the ring before connecting with a hesitation dropkick. After Lennon crumbles from out of the corner, Fujiko picks her back up and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle before hanging her in the Tree of Woe. Fujiko follows up with kicks to the midsection before stepping out onto the apron.

Stephy Auger: Where is she going!?

As Fujiko climbs the turnbuckles, Lennon tries to sit up to escape. Once Fujiko gets on the top turnbuckle, she jumps off and connects with a diving double foot stomp, knocking Lennon out of the Tree of Woe and leaving her folded up on the mat! Fujiko drags Lennon from out of the corner and makes the cover.

She pulls Lennon over and makes the cover.

Lennon picks up Fujiko and connects with a sitout jawbreaker, sending Fujiko stumbling backwards into the ropes. While Fujiko tries to shake out the cobwebs, Lennon turns and runs into the far ropes. When Lennon returns, she rushes over to attack when Fujiko ducks and dumps her over the top rope. Instead of crashing to the floor, Lennon lands safely on the apron and follows up with a rope-assisted gamengiri to the back of the head! While Fujiko staggers away from the ropes, Lennon steps back in, runs over and blasts Fujiko in the back of the head with a running double ax handle! The boos continue as she drops down and makes the cover.

Lennon picks up Fujiko and goes for a belly to back suplex. But Fujiko rolls over her shoulder and lands on her feet. When Lennon turns around, she turns into a handstand calf kick that knocks her back. Fujiko then gets back to her feet and runs towards the ropes. She then goes for a handspring rebound Ace Crusher. But Lennon counters with a running front dropkick in mid air! Lennon sits up Fujiko and delivers a soccer kick flurry to the chest while holding her arm. She then runs into the far ropes. When Lennon comes back, she runs past Fujiko before continuing to run the ropes. When Lennon returns, the crowd boos when she flattens Fujiko with a running knee to the face! She then picks up Fujiko before sending her into the far corner with an irish whip. Lennon runs across the ring and throws out a leaping corner bionic elbow. But Fujiko slips out of the way, causing Lennon to crash into the corner! As Lennon stumbles back, the crowd cheers when Fujiko grabs her and brings her down with the MIDA Multi-Tool (Lumbar Check)! Lennon bounces off of Fujiko’s knees and begins rolling across the ring. Fujiko rolls out onto the apron and pulls herself up using the ropes. Lennon can be seen crawling over into the corner. After Lennon pulls herself up into the corner and turns around, Fujiko springboards onto the top turnbuckle, runs halfway across the top rope and nails her with a Blazing Arrow Dropkick! Fujiko returns to her feet and goes for an irish whip. But Lennon reverses and follows her across the ring. Instead of crashing into the corner, Fujiko runs up the turnbuckle, backflips over an oncoming Lennon and lands on her feet before turning and running into the ropes. When Fujiko comes back, the crowd cheers when she knocks Lennon off her feet with the 4-Play (running single leg dropkick)! She reaches down, grabs Lennon by the wrist and whacks her with Sealed with a Kick (grounded arm pull roundhouse kick)! Fujiko reaches back down and grabs Lennon by the wrists before bashing her with Yount’s 3000th Hit (double wristlock knee to face)! The Apex Goddess reaches down and slowly pulls Lennon back to her feet. After doubling her over with a spinning back kick to the midsection, Fujiko knocks her down with The Bliss (backflip flash kick)! She makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout… FUJIKO MINE!

The cheers continue as Fujiko gets her arm raised in victory.

Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine picks up the win after a hard fought match! Piper Lennon absolutely took it to the former Pride Champion in that way. The fight was definitely brought to the Apex Goddess. But in the end, it was Fujiko that was able to advance.

Sitting on a chair in his locker room, Johnny Karma pulls on the laces of his wrestling boots to make sure they’re nice and tight, maybe pulling on them with a little bit too much force, but no matter what as he fastens them he knows darned well that he won’t be tripping over his laces anytime soon

Having completed the seemingly small yet remarkably important task, Karma exhales loudly and takes a look around the locker room afforded to him, and while it may look like the countless locker rooms he’s sat in over the years he knows that what happens once he steps out of this locker room will shape the next few shows of his career

As he looks around the locker room door creaks open a little and a familiar voice emanates from the other side

Cherry Baum: Are you decent J-K?

Johnny Karma: Yup. Well, other than the fact that I’m wearing less now than I was when I first walked in here.

Karma pulls on his ring jacket as the door opens and Cherry enters, one eye on her phone as she keeps an eye on the relevant hashtag to see any results being tweeted about, and once she’s negotiated her way into the room she sits on the bench

Cherry Baum: So what’s on your mind tonight?

Instead of giving an immediate answer, Karma’s response is to give a short, contemplative hum as he turns in Cherry’s direction, eventually deciding the better idea is to stand up and simply turn the chair around instead of lean over his shoulder the entire time – especially since tonight isn’t the sort of night where you might want to accidentally weaken your shoulder…

Johnny Karma: Given what time of year it is, you can’t help but look back and think what’s different now compared to then, and it’s hard not to say there’s one big difference between now and then, namely how at the start of the year I was champion, but between then and now I not only lost that belt but had a chance to rebound and came up short in that. So that’s probably something I should leave off the cards to the rest of the family…

Cherry Baum: Wasn’t yesterday the last postage date?

Karma gives Cherry a mildly amused look to tell her that, no, he didn’t mean that literally – not least because Amazon’s selection of Hanukkah cards was schmaltzy AF this year…

Johnny Karma: However, the year’s not done yet and neither am I, because even though I won’t be walking into my hometown holding the title let alone challenging for it, a win tonight means I walk into my hometown with a shot at winning the Frontier Lions Cup – so not only will I have a chance at getting right back into title contention, I’m going to have MSG behind me the whole way…

Pausing on that thought, Karma looks at his forearm and sees goosebumps forming from the mental image he just created

Johnny Karma: Sure, that sounds straightforward, but given how many times I’ve been in the tournament and the fact I’ve never won it the fact is I know it isn’t, and that’s the point. Take tonight’s match, where I go up against Logan Alexander. Now I hate to agree with the guy I went up against in the last round, given he seems to think this company owes him monthly title shots and everyone should get in line behind him, but there’s no denying that Logan’s got a chip on his shoulder that can be seen from the ISS and it’s only been getting bigger in recent months, especially since he and his partner decided to stop pretending they’re the noble heroes they say they are and instead go out there and hurt people because they want to. So that makes him dangerous, not just to my chances of continuing, but in general.

Once again pausing, this time to gaze at the ceiling for a second, Karma thinks

Johnny Karma: I mean I hate to sound like I’m assuming I’ll be going through, but with that in mind Logan’s the worst person for me to face precisely because he wants to hurt his opponents because he can, as every last tweak is going to come back tenfold one, two, three matches down the line should I make it into the Frontier Lions Cup proper – and given I already had one guy try to rearrange my tendons and knee cartilage in this tournament, it’s like I’m running the gauntlet of opponents who want me to fall into a pile of disconnected body parts by the semi-finals.

Rather than brood on that, though, instead Karma looks confident

Johnny Karma: …and I say let them try, because the more effort they put in to trying to stop me, the more reason they give me to push through and get that bit closer to the final victory. I’m done reacting to people for 2018, I’m done three times over by now, so instead having them react to me means that for the first time in I have no idea how long I’m not a target for somebody to screw over for weeks or months on end, I’m somebody people are going to have to approach as an opponent, just as I have to approach everyone not as a despicable momzer who has tried to tear down everything I hold dear but somebody to prove myself again. It’s liberating, really it is, but the thing is that will all be for naught if I don’t win tonight.

Just as he finishes speaking, there’s a knock on the door and once again it creaks open as a staffer looks in

Staffer: Are you ready? Word says you need to be ready to go in the next five minutes.

Karma nods to the staffer to let him know that, yes, he heard him. Once the door closes again, Karma stands up and takes a moment to make sure his ring gear isn’t hiking up into places he doesn’t want it hiking up, and when he’s satisfied that it isn’t he makes a move for the door – but Cherry interrupts

Cherry Baum: Oh yeah, before I forget, there’s one thing I need to do.

Turning around, Karma wonders what it is Cherry is talking about…right up until she hands him an envelope

Cherry Baum: Merry Christmas, J-K, and I hope you get everything you wish for.

With the card handed over, Cherry leans in and pecks Karma on the cheek before she flashes him a playful wink, which appears to give Karma a spring in the step as he turns and leaves the locker room as he makes his way towards the ringside area.

The camera cuts backstage and there we come across the walking form of Logan Alexander. Dressed to compete and with a look on his face that was all business, he’s making his way out for his match. He looks towards the camera, nodding once in acknowledgement.

Logan Alexander: I’ve been looking for an opportunity here in Frontier Grappling Arts for months now. Tonight at Winter Frontier, it’s not what I would have expected months ago. I wasn’t looking for a match with one of the marquee names here in FGA. To be absolutely honest, I didn’t deserve to be in a match any one of them. I’m not someone that should be included in the discussion with the biggest stars here in this company. I haven’t earned that right. I hadn’t even been given a chance to earn that right.

He glares pointedly at the camera as he walks.

Logan Alexander: Then about a month and change ago, an opportunity was offered to me. I was picked as one of the thirty two participants for the 2018 Frontier Lion’s Cup. It was a chance to show what I could do as a singles competitor for the first time in almost a year. After a year of being stuck in tag team competition, I was finally being allowed to prove myself, show my ability and earn my place. There was one catch to it though.

Logan comes to a halt there.

Logan Alexander: My qualifier match was to be against Ashlyn.

He rolls his tongue in his mouth, as though what he’d said had left a bad taste.

Logan Alexander: To say that we were livid was an understatement.

He blows out a breath before continuing.

Logan Alexander: After being the most dominant tag team in this company for almost a solid year and a half, we’re pretty much told by the people in charge that in order to be allowed any sort of chance to succeed as singles competitors that we’d first have to go out and beat the heck out of each other. The real kick in the teeth though? It was the fact that we had to face each other to qualify for the tournament proper.

He rolls his eyes.

Logan Alexander: No other team in FGA was being forced to jump through that kind of hoop to get into the tournament. We were the only team that was guaranteed to have one member eliminated immediately. Split Ashlyn and I up for separate matches, and I’d be willing to say, regardless of who we were paired up against, that we’d likely make it through the qualifiers together. Aside from Fujiko Mine and Izzy Anders, I’m hard pressed to identify any other active team that has the same level of experience and list of accomplishments as singles competitors that Ashlyn and I have. Maybe I’m wrong in that assessment… but as it seems to be the running theme, we weren’t even given that chance. That, in turn, stole something from our match on Flashpoint. It took meaning away from it. We weren’t fighting against one another because we’d both earned the right to do so. Instead we were told that we had to. We were just puppets to the GM’s whims because she felt that she had a point to prove.

Logan fixes another glare on the camera.

Logan Alexander: And people wonder why Ashlyn and I despise her so.

He shakes his head and resumes walking.

Logan Alexander: But we went out there and gave almost our all in the main event. We showed why we are such a dominant pairing. We showed why we deserve opportunities that others are gifted or take without earning. And at the end, when everyone might have expected the Chaotics to start imploding, we were still united.

At that, Logan smiles slightly… but it fades away quickly.

Logan Alexander: The only thing wrong with where things stand, is that the better wrestler didn’t win there. This should be Ashlyn’s opportunity against Johnny Karma… but since circumstances won’t allow it, I’m going to do everything in my power to win this match in her stead.

Letting out another breath, Logan takes on a more contemplative look.

Logan Alexander: Johnny Karma… He’s the man that, for most of my tenure here in FGA, has been the one with his name up in lights being hailed as the standard bearer for the Flashpoint brand, if not the company as a whole. He wins the Gold Rush Rumble last year. He beats Izzy Anders for the Undisputed championship. He turns away Chandler Scott, Dom Harter, Molly Reid and Evan Envi to solidify his reign. He gets a shot at being the first International Heavyweight champion. For just over a year, Johnny Karma was at the top of the world here. Headlining shows. Winning big matches. The man has been the big star here and he’s definitely earned his standing. You cannot say that he hasn’t deserved the spotlight. He’s put in the work and overcome all the hurdles that were placed before him in 2017.

Halting again, Logan turns to the camera again, tipping his head to one side slightly.

Logan Alexander: But while he had initial success to start 2018, he was taken out of his game by Evan Envi, and everyone he could bring with him, eventually. Then a highly motivated Chandler Scott toppled him one on one for the top spot on Flashpoint. So, for Johnny Karma, the Frontier Lion’s Cup must seem like the road to redemption for him, leading into 2019. He’s gotta be regarded as one of the favourites in this tournament. He’s capable, experienced and motivated. He’s a force to be reckoned with… and I’m the one that gets the next shot at trying to bring him down. And I’m sure that most people watching tonight are just itching to see me get a dose of karma from the man named Karma. Fitting, I’m sure.

Logan snorts softly at that.

Logan Alexander: This match though… I’ve been looking forward to it since the end of the last Flashpoint show.

A smirk appears on his face as he continues.

Logan Alexander: It really didn’t matter who I was facing in this tournament. From the get go, I was going to be viewed as the underdog in whatever match I was placed in. I hadn’t been in solo competition since January. I hadn’t won a match on my own since July of last year. I’m just a bunch of question marks and low expectations here. Everyone out there knows it. And so do I.

Folding his arms across his chest, Logan looks cool and confident.

Logan Alexander: I don’t care if I’m viewed as the underdog in a match. It doesn’t bother me when I step into a match against a better competitor. It doesn’t faze me when I have to face someone on a hot streak. Simply put, I don’t sweat the small stuff before a match like this. I’m not going to be psyched out by the reputation of Johnny Karma. I’ve seen how good he is. I know how well he can control the tempo of a match and just hammer an opponent until they stay down. I respect his abilities because I know that if I don’t take him seriously, he’ll put me down just like he did Mark Bisley in their qualifying match.

He smirks again at the thought of Bisley being put in his place, but he quickly becomes all business again.

Logan Alexander: I know I’ve got an uphill climb here tonight, but I’m ready to face it head on. I don’t have any delusions about going out there and winning this match easily. I’m not even sure I can win this match tonight. But I am going to step inside the ring tonight and give Karma one heck of a fight. I plan on hitting him with everything I’ve got. I intend to match him stride for stride and move for move. I’m going to do whatever I can to put him down for three seconds or make him tap.

Turning away from the camera, Logan starts walking again. The cameraperson moves to keep up, falling into step beside him.

Logan Alexander: This match means a lot to me tonight, but not the way all of these first round matches do for everyone else though. There are fifteen other people looking towards Final Frontier, imagining themselves standing tall at the end of the first night and being declared the Frontier Lion’s Cup winner. It’s not like that for me though. Should I win tonight and advance to the quarterfinals… maybe I’ll start thinking a bit about winning the tournament. This match tonight is about getting a crack at Johnny Karma… and I’ve been waiting eleven months for it.

His eyes narrow and he looks more intense as he recalls what had happened, but he keeps his gaze ahead.

Logan Alexander: I had a front row seat back in January when Karma assaulted my partner in the ring. She was injured from a brutal match she’d taken part in a week or so prior. He knew she was injured… he made that quite clear right off the bat. He was reeling from an inexcusable attack on Cherry just before that match and he was angry with Evan and Neon… but he decided to take it out on Ashlyn instead. He went after her injury all through the match. He showed what kind of man he was that night. And I was there the following show when he tried to offer an apology for what he did… but not until after Ashlyn called him out on it to his face. Given the chance, I would have gladly knocked the taste out his mouth right then and there… but that wasn’t the place or time. Ashlyn and I had to focus on Smart Style back then. But I never forgot about what had happened. Now… I finally get my chance for redemption, after not stepping in back then and knocking Karma’s teeth out for what he was doing, as well as a fitting retribution.

He slows and offers a sidelong glance to the camera

Logan Alexander: Now you might wonder what fitting implies. Since Karma attacked my partner viciously, you might think that I’d go after someone close to him, but I’m not some kind of monster. I don’t attack non-wrestlers without direct provocation on their part. I also don’t misdirect my anger to those who don’t deserve it. Violence is a precision tool. I do everything with purpose in mind.

Logan smirks at the camera.

Logan Alexander: No… fitting retribution would be toppling Johnny Karma here tonight and ending his quest to win the Frontier Lion’s Cup and earn himself a rematch with Chandler Scott. I don’t think there would be anything more appropriate than having him put down by someone that he dismissed a year ago as some sort of nuisance for calling him out on his crap. I think there would be something especially karmic about his own actions coming back to bite him here and now.

He smiles and comes to a stop once more.

Logan Alexander: I have plenty of motivation to put Karma down tonight.

Lifting one hand, he starts ticking off his motivations one by one on his fingers.

Logan Alexander: A win here over Johnny Karma would be a statement to the rest of the Flashpoint roster. A win here would get me another step closer to the Cup finals. A win here will show Hadley Herrera that the Chaotics won’t be so easily held back. A win here is what I owe Ashlyn because I took from her the opportunity to win this match herself… so I’m going to go out and try to win this one for her.

Logan clenches his hand into a fist then lowers it back to his side.

Logan Alexander: I hope you’re ready for this one Johnny, because tonight, win or lose, I am going to give you a lesson in Chaos Theory that you aren’t ever going to forget. See you soon.

With a quick nod to the camera, he moves past it and continues on towards the entryway leading out to the ring. The camera pans to watch him go until the scene fades out.

Frontier Lions Cup (First Round)
Johnny Karma vs. Logan Alexander

“Endless Possibility” begins to play through the arena. Partway through the instrumental opening of the song, Logan makes his way out from the entryway. He then pauses at the top of the ramp to survey the crowd before making his way down to the ring, ignoring the fans on either side of him.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a first round match in the Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, weighing in tonight at 227 pounds...he is one half of the FGA World Tag Team champions...LOGAN ALEXANDER!

Once he reaches the ringside area, Logan makes his way over to the closest set of ring steps and climbs up to the ring apron. He climbs between the top and middle ropes and enters the ring. He moves towards the far side of the ring, stopping in front of the ropes and spreads his arms wide to either side of him as he looks out across the crowd.

He then turns away and heads to another side of the ring, repeating his actions there, and continuing until he’s been to all four sides of the ring.

Logan then turns away and walks back over to the side of the ring closest to the timekeeper’s area. He removes his sunglasses and tucks them into a pocket of his jacket. He then unfastens and removes his jacket before passing it through the ropes to a technician at ringside. He turns away and moves over to one corner of the ring, away from the entryway, and leans back against the turnbuckles as he awaits the arrival of his opponent.

Geoff Penzer: Logan Alexander is a man with his own personal code to things. He’s one half of the tag team champions and has built his reputation on that. But he’s also building a reputation as one of the best counter wrestlers in the industry in a company that might even have some of the best we’ve ever seen in that department. He even bested his own tag partner and fellow tag champion Ashlyn De Luca. Now he has a chance to add the biggest scalp to his singles journey and to really prove himself against one of the best in the sport in Johnny Karma and I can’t wait to see how this goes.

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Johnny Karma, to the Frontier Wrestling Arts fanbase - at which point he walks out onto the ramp before coming to a halt and uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the fans, pausing to hold his arm in the air for a couple of seconds to signal his arrival

As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Queens, New York...weighing in tonight at 233 pounds...JOHNNY KARMA!

As the pair reach ringside, Cherry quickly climbs onto the ring apron and sits on the middle rope to hold it open, as Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face the audience and slowly raising an arm before raising his index finger to let everyone know that he is #1, before he steps through the ropes into the ring.

Once inside the ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and holds his arms out wide to soak in the crowd's cheers

Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and climbs onto the opposite turnbuckle to salute the fans

Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring and once again uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the crowd before raising his arm high above his head with those two fingers still extended, and he holds the pose for a few seconds while Cherry approaches the centre of the ring with a mic in hand so she can give Karma his introduction.’

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma is a man that often needs no introduction. He is as accomplished as any professional wrestler in this company and on the planet. He qualified by defeating Mark Bisley But this is a different kind of match up than the norm for him. We know Karma’s as masterful as anyone at the chess element of wrestling, not just a move from now but five or six moves from now. Counter wrestling is his greatest strength. But he’s facing someone who might be his equal in that department and as soon as I saw that Johnny Karma and Logan Alexander was a first round match I got excited for that. It might be a little bit of a throwback to the old school style and it really is a wrestling purist’s dream. And we’re in for a true treat here tonight.

The bell sounds and neither man is rushing into anything knowing what the other is capable of. There is a collar and elbow lock up and Johnny is able to take a step being a little heavier but you see Logan use that leverage on the step to turn it into a hammerlock right away. He chains to going around the world with the headlock but Johnny is able to use his hands and his frame to his advantage to go with a wristlock and then a top wristlock. Logan then just calmly drop toe holds Johnny to the canvas and goes to chain it by floating over for a headlock. This time Karma has the counter going grounded hammerlock but Logan knows where he’s at and ends up rolling out of it and as soon as Karma gets back to his feet there’s not pause to try to acknowledge potential applause...it is back to the headlock.

Geoff Penzer: Grounded warfare. You can’t really call an advantage.

Johnny goes with a different tactic to try to get out of the headlock this time...he’s using his hands to separate the grip and the the moment he does that he dives the point of his elbow deep into the left arm of Logan. This drops Logan down to a knee and that’s the moment Johnny is able to dig his knee into the shoulder and he’s going for a potential fujiwara armbar on the ground but he can’t fully get Logan off his feet and both men are gritting their teeth in this brewing war of attrition. Logan finally rolls forward and is able to then transition into his own top wristlock! Johnny knows he’s close to the ropes and ends up grabbing a hold of them to backflip to the approval of the audience to get out of the hold and then finally armdrag Logan off his feet! But Logan doesn’t rush in as soon as he gets to his knees and Johnny keeps his guarded stance.

Geoff Penzer: Score the knockdown for Karma.

Logan stares down Johnny and the two go in with another lock up. Johnny goes behind with a waistlock but Logan counters that with an ankle pick. Logan seems like he wants to start ripping and tearing at the knee but Johnny ends up shoving Logan off with his feet and as soon as Johnny is back to his feet Logan is diving back after that knee but Johnny sprawls out of the takedown attempt of his knee and a front headlock follows. This time it’s the tag champion who is able to end up switching out of it looking for a hammerlock but Johnny rolls through anticipating it. Just the moment Johnny gets to his feet he’s dropkicked directly in the knee and down he goes holding his shin. And while not a dirty tactic...the fans are booing this change of pace.

Geoff Penzer: Directly to the knee he goes. Logan tends to like going after the back but whenever he does see an opening he will capitalize.

Logan ends up grabbing The Karmatic One’s ankle and you can see him pulling on the foot toward him to try to stretch those ligaments in a way one doesn’t want to. And the elbow to the knee follows and Johnny recoils up with a tense look of pain. And now you see Logan trap his ankle with his legs as he’s digging his elbow in. Johnny is again gritting his teeth but wills himself to grab Logan’s left arm and both dislodge it and start to try to apply an armbar. Moment Logan feels his arm getting tugged he releases Johnny’s ankle and puts his feet on the ropes not wanting to go there and the ref orders a break and surprisingly he does get a clean break here. Logan gets to his feet first and Johnny second a wee bit hobbled.

Geoff Penzer: Johnny’s after Logan’s arm, Logan is after Karma’s knee in this war of attrition.

Again Logan dives toward the knee of NYC’s finest but Johnny being near the ropes uses that to help jump over that dive. Soon as Alexander gets back up though, Johnny ends up grabbing a hold of Logan’s left arm and before he can react the old pumphandle pull ends up dropping him to the mat and he crashes feeling the brunt of the pain in that entire left arm.

Geoff Penzer: That is something you will not see a lot of.

Logan ends up trying to get up not wanting to be in this spot as he’s surprised by the tactic but Johnny is able to end up going with a hammerlock bodyslam the moment Logan rushes in and there is a quick cover.

Geoff Penzer: A tried and true Karma strategy...finding ways to go after the arm.

Johnny looks like he’s trying to position Logan’s arm back to the hammerlock. Alexander shows a rare moment of agitation but ends up going with a full quick spin using momentum to make Johnny break his grip. This time Johnny is trying to regain grip this time going for the head for another front headlock but Logan grabs Johnny’s knee and is able to get him up for a shin breaker and back down he goes and Logan takes a moment to shake off his left arm briefly as the Karmatic One is on the canvas holding his knee for the second time in the match.

Geoff Penzer: Good move, he figured Johnny might’ve been expecting a similar counter to before but instead he tried something different.

Logan Alexander continues his pace going after that knee like a bullseye when he places Johnny’s ankle over the bottom rope and then he uses the bottom rope to spring himself up before dropping an elbow to the knee joint and Johnny is obviously recoiling in pain. He does it a second time and Johnny is again struck on the knee and he’s rolling over toward the corner looking for a reprieve for the moment. Logan ends up putting Johnny’s left leg over the middle rope as soon as he gets to his feet but Johnny fires back with a knife edged chop that connects and the fans roar as soon as they hear that contact. He fires a second and a third one that gets Logan reeling but before the arm could be grabbed, Logan dragon screw leg whips Johnny with the aid of the middle rope and the Karmatic One is howling in pain in the corner.

Geoff Penzer: A dragon screw leg whip over the ropes like that could easily tear someone’s knee up. Logan knows exactly what he’s doing.

Johnny ends up stumbling out of it hobbled holding the ropes and Logan ends up kicking his leg and Johnny flips from the impact and splats on the canvas and back down on the ground he goes and the fans notice the trouble he’s in and the chanting begins.

Logan doesn’t even react to the chant and instead as Johnny is trying to pugnaciously get to his feet he gives another chop block to that knee. Johnny again crawls himself up just for Logan to drag him closer to the center and a belly to back suplex follows and a float over for a cover.

Geoff Penzer: Logan is going a little more around the world. In less experienced hands this is a mistake but for him in a war of attrition it’s showing his gameplan in full effect. He softened up Johnny’s knee perhaps to maybe have a better avenue to his back and his ultimate end game at the end. That and a wounded leg makes it easier to apply either of his primary submissions.

Logan doesn’t give Johnny the opportunity to try to will himself up by stomping once to the small of the back and then a second one to the left knee the moment it’s back open. He has hold of that left ankle and now he’s thinking figure four! But Johnny has the counter and is able to roll Logan up in a small package!

Logan kicks out!

Geoff Penzer: No matter what kind of pain he’s in, Johnny’s brain always works.

Logan isn’t rattled by the shock but Johnny ends up firing back up for another chop as soon as both are back on their feet and that stuns Logan enough to turn his back. Johnny again goes for the arm in a hammerlock looking for a hammerlock belly to back but Logan just hooks Karma’s bad wheel with his feet to prevent from going up and ends up drop toe holding Karma to the canvas and then transitioning into an ankle lock!

Geoff Penzer: What a transition! Logan Alexander is putting forth the game plan and performance of his singles career in FGA against Karma right now.

You see Johnny howling in agony as Alexander cranks on the submission hold! The first course of escape thinking through Johnny is to crawl toward the ropes and he’s scratching and clawing for every inch as the audience chants his name wanting their beloved wrestler to escape the predicament! He’s fingertips away from this but Alexander drags Johnny back to the center of the ring. But the momentum of the drag gives Karma another idea first he delivers one kick to the left arm he had targeted earlier to loosen the grip...and then he’s able to counter it into a victory roll of sorts!

T-Alexander kicks out.

Geoff Penzer: He got out of that one for the moment.

Karma scrambles to his feet but Alexander had leaned down into the corner after kicking out and the moment Johnny steadies himself Logan charges going for a reverse Bulldog but Karma ducks his head and Logan rebounds off looking for a different strike but Karma is able to snap off a powerslam and both men are now down in the center of the ring in this grueling war and the fans again are clapping...trying to will Johnny to victory.

Geoff Penzer: Beautiful counter by Karma. Both men grinding it out here.

The ref begins his typical standing ten count but he isn’t getting far in that as Karma is pulling himself up to try to get Logan to get up faster sensing he can get out of the defensive and go on the offense. Logan does get up here and Johnny starts by grabbing Logan’s arm and delivering a shoulder thrust to that left shoulder before transitioning to a Russian Leg Sweep and down goes Logan! And he still has hold of that arm and he’s using it to drag one half of the tag champions up to his feet and another pumphandle pull on that joint to drop him down to his knee before this time going with the hammerlock and he’s able to lift him up in full and drop him with the hammerlock belly to back!

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s starting to dig into that next gear he always seems to find when the stakes increase while not abandoning his strategy.

There isn’t a cover as Johnny just has this sixth sense about it...in his own receipt from earlier it’s his turn to deliver a stomp to the shoulder...and to the arm. The garvin stomp. And Logan reacts the most on the stomps to his arm as Johnny hobbles and takes his time delivering this. Working his way through the limbs...and then doing a second round on that left shoulder and arm just to be sure and the one on the bicep makes Logan sit up wincing and shaking that left arm. He scrambles to his feet. He’s as methodical in his attack as Logan was on his earlier but as Logan gets to his feet Logan ends up firing a palm strike to the chest of Karma to try to get some space but Johnny ends up twisting his arm again, knife edge chopping him and then down Logan goes with a divorce court armbreaker.

Geoff Penzer: He’s trying to take Logan’s arm home with him just like Logan tried to take his leg home.

Karma is hobbled as he does see an opportunity to go to one of the moves he often likes to with said adrenaline going...and he starts scaling toward the top rope shaking off the pain on his knee. He points off to the sky as he balances himself to acknowledge the roaring crowd but Logan ends up getting to his feet and pushes his legs and Johnny crotches himself on the top.

Geoff Penzer: Logan scouted Karma.

Karma is howling and Logan takes this opportunity to pull on Johnny’s knee twisting it up in the turnbuckle and ropes and taking full advantage of that five count.

Ref: ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR...

Logan relinquishes after that taking full advantage of that count before he starts to scale to the middle rope. He could be thinking superplex or another brutal way to throw the fan favorite off the top rope but Johnny fires from this spot with multiple chops, overhand and knife edged to get Logan to back off and stumble and then a bell clap that really stuns him! Johnny then from his seated position untangles his leg and sees an opportunity and grits his teeth and goes up with a leap before doing an arm drag variation spinning Logan around and taking him to the canvas and Logan is again shaking that left arm as that’s the one he tugged on. Just the moment he gets up Johnny is up on his feet with adrenaline and CLOCKS him with a home run shot of Check your Crickets(Superkick)! And the fans explode when Logan slowly timbers down onto the canvas and Johnny falls down on Logan for the cover!

THRE--LOGAN KICKS OUT!

Geoff Penzer: Johnny got all of that and Logan manages to kick out at two! But I wonder what damage that could have also done to his knee.

Karma doesn’t show frustration at that as much as he’s frustrated at his knee not cooperating as he lets out a grunt before pulling himself up by the ropes. He rubs the sweat from his face while grabbing hold of Logan’s wrist looking for Hard Times (Wristlock transition into a Bionic Elbow) but Logan might have been playing some possum and the moment the wrist is grabbed he ends up pushing Johnny off of it and the moment Johnny charges back toward him Logan decapitates him with his Chaotic Impact!(STO) and Karma is folded up like an accordion! Logan has to untangle him and make the cover.

THRE--KARMA KICKS OUT!

Geoff Penzer: I might not agree with Logan’s actions especially of late but this could very well be a true coming out party for him as a singles here with how masterfully he’s attacked Karma tonight.

Logan doesn’t even freak out at this...just another day at the office for him. He ends up kicking Karma in the back of the leg before he tries to cross his legs looking for his Perfect Chaos theory and Johnny is scrambling back not wanting to be a part of this hold at all getting a little closer to the ropes as well as shoving him with his legs...but Logan won’t leg go and tries again but Karma ends up grabbing hold of Logan’s left arm trying to turn it into a kimora! Logan instead uses Karma’s twisted up legs and ends up turning that leverage into a pincover.

THRE--Karma kicks out by relinquishing his hold and the predicament.

Geoff Penzer: Only two this time off of some beautiful countering the counter in counter wrestling. Try saying that five times fast…

Both warriors end up getting to their feet. Logan first, but Karma not too far behind him. Logan is really shaking his left arm but looks like he could be going for the home run shot because as soon as Karma straightens his left knee out...Logan dashes in looking for his Stryke Force with his good arm(Diamond Cutter) but Karma is able to push this aside and then hook his left arm. He’s looking to counter it into Deep Karma(Crossface Chickenwing with the leg scissors) and the fans are exploding! He’s got the arm...and he’s about to lock his fingers.

Geoff Penzer: It might be gut check time for Logan Alexander in one of the most painful holds in wre---what is this!?

Logan isn’t letting Karma lock his fingers nor is he letting him take the man down to the ground using. A stomp on his left foot and a kick to the knee fully make sure of that before he’s able to use his free arm and snapmare out of the situation.

Geoff Penzer: The awareness of both men on the mat is extraordinary.

Karma scrambles to his feet as Logan is looking for more damage kicking Johnny in the knee cap and looking for his DDT, the Chaotic Shockwave. Johnny though is able to grab Logan’s left arm and spin it into a hammerlock. He’s looking for his own DDT out of it...but his knee buckles trying to do the full swingover and he can’t spike him...and this momentary hesitation lets Logan shove Karma out of the way and then he drops him with the Styke Force! He makes the cover in the center of the ring!

Geoff Penzer: Another beautiful counter, this one could be the end!

The crowd boos but not in a purely hostile manner the moment the bell rings.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, Logan Alexander!

Logan is the first one to start to stumble up and he’s ordering the ref to raise his right arm as he shakes off his left but after that moment the reality of this victory sinks in and for a brief moment he lets out a smile knowing what he accomplished before he rolls out of the ring, the smile gone and the next level of preparation to begin. Johnny starts to hobble up to his feet with an obvious limp as Logan goes up the ramp and the fans give a loud round of applause for the effort.

Geoff Penzer: Logan Alexander had a true coming out party tonight! He beat one of the most successful men in our company’s history in the first round! One half of the tag champions and now he’s looking for even more. And I don’t know what Karma could be looking at next but that was one hell of a wrestling match. But Logan Alexander...his true coming out party as an FGA singles competitor and moving on to the next round.

“Man in the Box” by Alice in Chains begins playing over the sound system and the crowd launches into a series of groans and boos. The familiar grunge standard serves as a harbinger of the unwelcome arrival of Malcolm Drake. Drake pushes his way through the curtain to a wall of jeers and a water bottle that narrowly misses his head.

In typical antagonistic fashion, Drake is supporting a Chris Bond T-shirt with the Battle-Hardened Veteran’s face across the front, marred by a strip of duct tape of the eyes. The T-shirt is under a black leather jacket, and untucked over a set of tattered black jeans and black combat boots. Drake’s bedraggled hair is pushed back so the smirk curved through his scraggly beard is plainly visible.

Kris Cruise: And here he comes.

Stephy Auger: Show a little respect, Cruise. We’ve got Final Frontier coming up, and Malcolm Drake is the foundation that FGA was built on and he helped to legitimize that show!

Kris Cruise: (Mumbling) No wonder there’s a rat problem.

Drake slides into the ring as an “Asshole” chant kicks up. Drake paces the ring, waiting for the crowd to tire of the chanting. It takes longer than anyone would expect, so Drake simply plops himself down in the center of the ring, leaning back against the bottom ropes, facing the hard camera. It takes almost a minute - and a few pieces of projectile garbage nearly hitting him - for Drake to start.

Malcolm Drake: Well…

Drake is immediately cut off by a cascade of boos. Drake shrugs.

Malcolm Drake: You can either let me talk or keep interrupting me. Because I can sit here all night and there’s not a single person in that locker room that can make me leave.

The crowd interrupts about 3 words into the spiel, and Drake simply leans back, crossing his legs in front of himself. Eventually, the boos die out again.

Malcolm Drake: You’re lucky I don’t want to be in this dump any longer than I have to, so I’ll make this brief. I am out here tonight to speak with ONE man. Now whether the rest of you eavesdrop on that conversati--

“You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell cuts into Drake’s sentence and the crowd comes alive as Chris Bond emerges from the backstage area. Drake scrambles to his feet as the first notes play, but Bond appears in no rush, meandering out to the top of the entrance-way and staying there, microphone in hand. There’s a brief “Bond” chant before the Battle-Hardened Veteran speaks.

Chris Bond: It’s me, isn’t it? You’re here to talk to me? Okay. So what’s it going to be this time? Are you gonna gloat about Capital Combat? Or rub it in about how you cost me yet another title opportunity? Maybe take a cheap shot at my wife?

Drake’s confident smirk has turned to a low-simmering seething, lips drawn tight as he stares down at Bond.

Chris Bond: Look, whatever it is. Why don’t you just cut to the chase, huh?

Malcolm Drake: I will take EXACTLY as long as I FUCKING want to take! You seem to be forgetting; forgetting who FAILED twice in a row, forgetting who…

Chris Bond turns and walks backstage, just leaving. The move catches Drake off guard and briefly leaves him speechless. Until Bond returns with a folding chair. Bond casually unfolds the chair and sits down in it.

Malcolm Drake: What are you doing?

Chris Bond: If you’re going to prattle on, I’m at least going to sit down.

The crowd erupts into laughs and cheers for Bond. Drake’s low simmer has turned into a full boil.

Malcolm Drake: I’m glad you think this is amusing. I’m glad you’re ENJOYing the fact that I have your entire life held hostage. I --

Chris Bond: That’s why we’re out here, isn’t it?

Malcolm Drake: LET ME FINISH!!

Drake’s voice cracks halfway through his outburst, as he stomps his feet like a petulant child.

Chris Bond: Why? We know why you’re out here. You know what I want, so why don’t we cut to the chase: what do you want? What is it going to take for me to get to Drake vs. Bond… III?

The crowd pops at the anticipation of a continuation of the ever-escalating blood-feud between these two veterans. What had started as simple revenge for Drake has morphed into something much different in complexion.

Malcolm Drake: See… that’s not how this works. You are the mouse and I am the cat. If I want to play with my prey before I KILL it, that is MY prerogative. Not yours, and not theirs!

This draws a rebuke from the Kingston crowd, but Bond simply shrugs and folds his arms in front of his chest, his feet crossed and extended in front of himself - similar to Drake’s earlier posture.

Malcolm Drake: No, you’re not fooling me. Chris Bond doesn’t just transform from an idiotic hothead into… this overnight. I don’t buy it.

Chris Bond: It’s not patience. I’ve just seen this movie. You’re going to ramble on and on and promise fire and fury, and then I’m going to chase you until you finally get whatever match you politick for. I’d like to skip straight to the fighting part. Or at the very least, I want to know what it is you’re going to need THIS time to get into the ring.

Drake’s face is red and soured into a scowl as he stares daggers down at Bond.

Malcolm Drake: Fine. I want the only thing I haven’t taken from you yet.

Drake’s face contorts into a wolfish grin.

Malcolm Drake: I want your career.

The crowd half-gasps, half-applauds as Drake lowers the microphone putting the last bit of emphasis and gravitas on the magnitude of his request.

Chris Bond: Fine. I accept.

And with no fanfare, Bond stands up places the microphone on the folding chair and walks off backstage. The crowd goes wild for Bond, but he’s already gone. Leaving a gobsmacked Drake standing in the ring. Drake’s shock and bewilderment turn to rage.

Malcolm Drake: I don’t think you get it, Bond! I want your career! I’m coming for everything you have left! There will be a winner! I WILL END YOU!

But the microphone sits on an empty chair, and no response fills the silence. And then something strange happens - someone in the crowd laughs. And that little spark turns into a fire as the crowd begins to chuckle at Malcolm Drake. Drake notices this, but is caught completely off-guard.

Malcolm Drake: I’m not finished! I have more demands, Bond! You won’t get out this easily! I want it at Final Frontier! I want CHIVALRY IS DEAD! I want to make you suffer… I…

But the laughter grows, threatening to drown out Drake.

Malcolm Drake: (Screaming) THIS ISN’T DONE! SHUT UP!

Drake continues raging at the crowd, going from side-to-side screaming at them for silence until spittle flecks coat his beard. The crowd responds with a deafening mix of mockery and jeering. Drake’s face is beat red from exertion and embarrassment. He stomps around the ring, before stopping abruptly as if struck. Struck by an idea. A twisted smirk parts Drake’s features as he slowly, deliberately raises the microphone to his lips.

Malcolm Drake: I’ll put my career on the line!

The announcement is met with an immediate silencing of the crowd, followed by a tentative murmuring, and finally complete and unbridled applause.

Kris Cruise: (Gobsmacked) What?

Stephy Auger: He… he can’t be serious.

But Drake is already caught up in the delerium. When he raises the microphone again, he is met with a rapt, patient silence.

Malcolm Drake: At Final Frontier, it will be Malcolm Drake versus Chris Bond. At Final Frontier, it will be Chivalry is Dead. At FINAL FRONTIER… it will be career versus CAREER!

The crowd erupts in acknowledgement that, yes, Drake is serious.

Malcolm Drake: And at Final Frontier, I will END Chris Bond’s career… FOREVER!

Drake spikes the microphone into the canvas, and the loud *thunk* is enough to punctuate that final threat. Drake drops and rolls out of the ring, gleaming and glaring--content with his final words. Malcolm Drake stops at the top of the ramp and slowly turns around, glaring out at the mass of people who ridiculed and heckled him. A snarl so gnarly overtakes his rugged mug. A small cheer sparks an eruption as from behind Malcolm Drake re-emerges Chris Bond. Drake's eyes narrow as he slowly turns around. Bond lunges at him and nearly takes his head off with a thunderous lariat.

The crowd explodes in cheers as Bondo mounts Drake and starts laying into him with stiff rights to the head. Drake flails wildly and manages to get a stray kick to the head which stuns Bond long enough for Drake to get a few feet away. But Bondo is quick to his feet and grabs Malcolm Drake by the hair and yanks him to his feet. Chris Bond delivers a heavy headbutt, sending Drake stumbling back a few feet, but Bond is quick and follows him. Bond reaches out but Drake pulls him in and delivers three quick headbutts of his own. Bond falls to a knee and Drake reaches down but Bond shoots back up and knees Drake hard in the gut. Another knee. Another knee. A fourth knee causes Drake to fall forward, and Bondo catches him, dropping him hard on the unforgiving entrance area with the “End of Days.”

Bondo gets down into Drake's face, forehead to forehead, eye's darted on his foe, and quietly says…

Chris Bond: See you at Final Frontier.

Vertigo's own Jessie Pederson is standing by in the designated interview area in front of the Winter Warfare backdrop.

Jessie Pederson: Hi, it's Jessie Pederson backstage here at Winter Frontier and with me right now is one of the eight participants in tonight's main event. He is the current FGA International Heavyweight Champion, Chandler Scott.

The crowd roars with cheers at the sight of Chandler Scott entering the picture. But there's an equal roars of boos as well. Chandler looks off to the side and cocks an eyebrow as soon as he notices the boos amongst the cheers. The International Heavyweight Champion turns his attention back to Jessie.

Jessie Pederson: Chandler, it's been a long time.

A warm smile comes across his face. It has been a while since Jessie has gotten to interview the DNA of FGA.

Chandler Scott: It has been a long time. Too long, in fact. If we could somehow get you switched to the A show for Amanda Johnson, it would be a Christmas miracle. But Happy Holidays to you and your family, Jess. I hope all is well.

Jessie nods.

Jessie Pederson: Well I can't complain. But one man that can complain is, you, Chandler, after getting knocked down some two weeks ago at the hands of James Edwards!

The crowd pops at the mention of The Burning Heart. There are a few boos sprinkled in here and there from the Chandler faithfuls. But it's a positive reaction for Edwards. The mention of Edwards' name gets an eyeroll from the FGAce.

Jessie Pederson: You came scarily close to getting caught with the Violent Gospel. I'm sure that wasn't the way you wanted to spend the last Flashpoint of 2018, was it.

Chandler forces a smile. But he's not fooling anyone. You can tell he's still annoyed by the events that transpired at the end of the last Flashpoint event.

Chandler Scott: Absolutely not. 'Ol Jimmy Edwards knocked me on my ass. He caught me one good time. The man tried to get an unfair advantage before Final Frontier. He tried to break my nose, as a matter of fact. And if that unprovoked Double Tap couldn't tell you that, then him trying to kick my head up into the cheap sheets with the Violent Gospel should remove all doubt. But that's okay. He got one over on me. He had his fun. But the fun and games are over here tonight. Myself, Kol, Izzy Andes and Ashlyn De Luca will be walking out of that ring winners here tonight. Then, at Final Frontier? That's when the real pain begins for Jimbo Edwards. If he thinks that what happens to him tonight is going to be tough? Then he's got no idea what's in store for him on December thirtieth.

Jessie Pederson: Let's talk about James Edwards. I'm not sure if you caught his AfterBurn video with Amanda Johnson, but Edwards was clearly hurt by what he feels was blatant disrespect that was thrown his way by you. Especially when he tried to be the bigger man! What are your thoughts?

Chandler scoffs at the notion of Edwards being "hurt". The International Heavyweight Champion begins to mimic playing a violin. The action gets a mixture of laughs, cheers and boos from various pockets of tonight's crowd.

Chandler Scott: What I heard was James Wamesy whining once again. What I heard was Jimmer Edwards once again playing the victim. I heard him crying to Amanda and anyone who would listen about how I disrespected him... how he's so frustrated... how I treated him as my punk little cousin. First off, James, I don't treat you like my punk little cousin. I treat you like a punk bitch, because that's exactly what you are!

A loud "OOOOOOOHHHHHH!" comes from the crowd. Even Jessie Pederson widens her eyes with shock after that line.

Chandler Scott: You're a passive aggressive pansy who had nothing but disrespect and animosity towards from because it's in your DNA to be a miserable piece of trash. You cry about being humiliated? You whine about disrespect? Respect is a two way street, smart guy. I gave you the same disrespect that you showed me. Remember that? When Noelle Smith tried to smooth things over. But you just couldn't let that be because you're James Edwards and being surly is your calling card. Ha! But wait, let me guess. It doesn't feel so good when the shoe is on the other foot, does it? It doesn't feel too good when you're on the receiving end, now does it? Maybe if your pappy actually did his job and instilled in you these basic concepts... maybe if you're pappy told you how to treat people like you want to be treated, then maybe you wouldn't have turned out to be the way that you are. But never fear, because Chandler Scott is here to instill in you what Papa Edwards failed to do, and that's smack some respect into you. And you can forget Zelda Gibbons, because by the time I'm done with you, Jim? You'll be calling me daddy!

Chandler smirks. Je's clearly reveling in the cheers, as well as the boos, from the crowd.

Chandler Scott: Let me tell you about disrespect, Jim. Disrespect is watching Johnny Karma fail to win every Pay Per View match he's been in since April, yet he ends up as a nominee for Wrestler of the Year while I'm not. Disrespect, Jim, is me coming back to help lead our team to victory as All-Star Showdown - a team that you tried your damndest to undermine, by the way - only to end up watching you get nominated for a Wrestler of the Year award while I'm nowhere to be found. Disrespect, Jim, is me becoming your International Heavyweight Champion - and putting another record with my name on it in the history books - only to end up not being in the conversation of Wrestler of the Year. That, Jimbo, is disrespect. So why don't you take your sob story... and your little crocodile tears... and stick it!

A beat.

Chandler Scott: Tonight is just the start. Come Final Frontier? I'm really going to give you something to piss and moan about. Because when it's all said and done? Every head will bow and every tongue will confess that CHANDLER... REIGNS... SUPREME!

Chandler stares hard into the camera, as if he's speaking directly to Edwards. The loud roar of cheers and boos continue while Chandler exits the frame.

“Live Long Enough to Become the Hero” by Nathan Sharp plays over the PA System as lights flicker. Once the introductory riff ends, Neal makes his way out to the top of the stage. He stands there looking at the crowd with both of his hands behind his back; the United States Tag Team Championship hanging on his waist. Neal smiles as he extends his arms, flicking the neck of his jacket and then begins his walk towards the ring. Along the way he claps hands with fans who have extended their arms. Once he’s near the stairs, he stomps the bottom one, surveys the crowd once more before jumping to the apron, holding the turnbuckle post. With his right hand on the top rope he walks to the middle and enters the ring; he turns around and extends his arms once more bumping the ropes with his chest and going back to the middle of the ring where he takes the jacket and the title off.

"Shit Shots Count" by The Drive By Truckers begins playing as Peaches bursts through the curtain with her arms outstretched to each side. She spins around as she slowly moves down the aisle, soaking in the crowd's cheers before picking up the pace. As Peaches climbs up the ring steps she removes her flannel shirt, tossing it to a fan in the audience, before finally vaulting over the top rope as she waits for the match to start.

A song crashes into the P.A. system that sounds of static and a guitar. The lights begin to flash a violent red frantically. As the song "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon really kicks in, the lights continue to flash red. A silhouette appears at the entrance. With a controlled stagger, Jimmy Page comes from the back, head down and arms out from his sides. Page swaggers down to the ring in at a methodical pace. The camera gets a close up of his hair covered face as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at the top of the ramp, flinging his hair from his eyes and glaring around, chewing on a piece of gum. Through the static red, a spotlight follows Page as he makes his way to the front of the ring. He takes a running start, sliding on top of the apron. He stands, gets in the ring, then climbs on top of the turnbuckle. Page spits his gum outside of the ring, into the crowd. Jimmy leaps down from the turnbuckle, and begins to slither down into a seat on the lower turnbuckle; Placing his head against the middle turnbuckle, knocking the back of it against the corner gently as he awaits the bell.

The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar rift, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! It is your main event of the evening and it is an Interbrand 8-Man Tag Team Match! Introducing first, from Cardiff Wales! He is one half of the reignng United States Tag Team Champions… NEAL DURDEN! From Fayetteville, Georgia… PEACHES! From Lexington, Kentucky… “The Burning Heart” JAMES EDWARDS! And from Flint, Michigan! He is the reigning FGA World Champion… “The King of the F’n World” JIMMY PAGE!

The lights in the arena blink to darkness, prompting a loud but indecisive reaction from the audience, many of which have grown used to being plunged into darkness-- but the mixed reaction becomes dominated by boos as the words “I come to life…” echo throughout the arena over the soundsystem, followed by the familiar deep drums, with the text CHAOS appearing in blood red on the Tron. Kavinsky’s “Suburbia” plays on the PA and the lights in the arena slowly return with a red hue. Ashlyn De Luca steps out of the darkness and onto the top of the ramp, smirking at the reaction of the audience. She turns her back briefly, flashing the back of her black-and-pink “Chaotics” jacket before making her way down toward the bottom of the ramp. Ashlyn pauses, looking out at the crowd around her as she unzips the jacket, revealing her half of the FGA World Tag Team Titles. She takes it off into her hand before sprinting to the ring, sliding in beneath the bottom rope and rising to a knee in the center.

Ashlyn walks toward the ropes, calmly climbing to the second, scanning the audience before blowing a sarcastic kiss toward the mainly-jeering crowd, raising her title high above her head, only amplifying the reaction. She peels her jacket off, tossing it onto the face of the nearest cameraman before pushing herself off of the ropes, mouthing along to the lyrics of her theme as she makes her way toward the corner, ready for action.

"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"

The intro of Jadakiss's "The Champ is Here" plays as a precursor to Izzy Anders' arrival, but before the final drum beat, Izzy’s derisive laugh overpowers it, cutting into it with static. As it fades, “Bad Dreams” by Phantogram starts to play. The arena gets covered in a gradient of fuschia and crimson.

Izzy steps onto the stage out of a jet of smoke, standing with the championship slung over her chest. She starts down the ramp with a confident smirk, rocking the belt. When she stops in the middle of the ring, she slowly draws the championship away from herself. Raising it slowly, Izzy proclaims her status to the whole audience and anyone who might be watching.

She steps to the ring apron, jumping onto it. She spins on it for a moment before stopping in the center. Izzy takes the championship into her teeth, blasting her coat off with a dramatic flair--her arms are outstretched. She leans back on the ropes as her theme strikes up and the lights dawn on her. When she lowers, she hits the top turnbuckle.

The eyepatch begins to get peeled off, followed by a playful wink. She replaces the championship with the eyepatch to raise the championship high again. Izzy then leans back and begins to fall down to the apron. She sticks the landing gracefully and she descends down to the mat. With a somewhat seductive air, she scoots back to the center of the ring. Izzy then releases the eyepatch from her teeth and rises to her feet.

"Tear Away" by Drowning Pool plays throughout the arena as the audience boos loudly! Once the beat kicks in, the man formerly known as Colton Sterling steps out from behind the curtain, a smirk on his face as he looks out at the audience. He listens to them boo him before he nods and begins to make his way down to the ring.

Kol doesn't pay attention to any of the fans as he makes it to ringside before he slowly circles the ring, keeping his eyes locked on the squared circle. Once he's circled the ring fully, Kol hops on the apron and wipes his feet on it before entering the ring. The New Yorker then finds the nearest corner and climbs to the middle turnbuckle, a small smile appearing on his face as he raises his hands up to some boos. Kol hops off and removes his jacket, tossing it out of the ring. He then slowly makes it to his corner and stretches there as he waits for the match to start.

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Gold lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Chandler swings his International Heavyweight Championship across his shoulder before making his way down the aisle. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while he slowly raises the International Heavyweight Championship with one arm. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. Chandler holds the championship in his hands before slapping the center plate and handing it over to the referee. His theme music dies down while he waits the opening bell.

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing their opponents! First, from Atlanta, Georgia! She is one half of the reigning FGA World Tag Team Champions… ASHLYN DE LUCA!!! Fighting out of Holland, Michigan by way of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada! She is the reigning FGA Pride Champion… “The Mindkiller” IZZY ANDERS!!! From Buffalo, New York… KOL!!! From Westwood, Massachusetts! He is the reigning International Heavyweight Champion… CHANDLER SCOTT!!!

The bell sounds as Kol and Edwards start things off for their respective teams. But Edwards has no interest in facing Kol. He points right behind Kol. When Kol turns around, he sees Edwards is pointing at Chandler Scott.

Kris Cruise: Kol wants him a piece of Chandler Scott!

Stephy Auger: Who wouldn’t!?

Scott can be seen mouthing off at Edwards and vice versa. Kol then goes over and tags Scott in to an explosion of cheers. Scott steps in and gets right up in Edwards’ face.

Stephy Auger: Oooooooh, here we go!

Geoff Penzer: This place is about to explode, guys!

The two continue to have words until Scott shoves Edwards back. Edwards comes back and shoves Scott down to the mat to an explosion of cheers!

Kris Cruise: Chandler goes down after a shove from the Burning Heart!

Scott scrambles back to his feet. Edwards quickly rushes over and throws out a spinning backfist!

Stephy Auger: AH!

But Scott ducks and backs up from Edwards.

Geoff Penzer: Scott nearly got caught with the Double Tap for the second show in a row!

The Burning Heart can be seen waving at Scott to come at him. Scott continues to circle the ring. Edwards then does the same. The two prepare to lock up until The Mindkiller tags herself in. The crowd erupts with a mixtures of cheers and boos.

Kris Cruise: What is Izzy doing!?

Geoff Penzer: Yeah! We wanted to see Edwards and Scott go right now!

Stephy Auger: Well too bad. Izzy’s going to go in there and slap the taste of out Edwards’ mouth and split his chapped lips in the process!

Izzy Anders steps into the ring and makes a beeline towards Edwards. They lock up. After jockeying for position, Anders places him in a side headlock. Edwards then shoves Anders off and into the ropes. When Anders returns, Edwards knocks her down with a standing shoulder block. He drops down into a lateral press.

Edwards picks up Anders and applies a side headlock. After a bit of maneuvering, Anders is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock from behind. She then goes for the Black Song (Hammerlock Lariat)! But Edwards counters with the Double Tap (consecutive spinning backfists), dropping Anders to a seated position to an explosion of cheers! While Anders is dazed, Edwards turns and runs into the ropes. When Edwards comes back, he throws out the Violent Gospel (Running PK). But Anders rolls out of the way. When Edwards turns around, Anders gets up, rushes over and throws out a yakuza kick. But Edwards swats it away, grabs Anders from behind and goes for a German Suplex. But on the way up, Anders nails him with a back elbow to the face. Once she’s lowered, she performs a standing switch and shoves Edwards into the ropes. When Edwards returns, he throws out a rebound wheel kick. But Anders slips out of the way. When Edwards turns around and gets up on a knee, cheers and boos follow when The Mindkiller flattens him with a Shining Yakuza Kick! She makes the cover.

Anders picks up Edwards and wrenches his arm. After trying to yank the arm from out of its socket, she performs another arm wrench before pulling him back towards her team’s corner. Scott and Kol have their arms out for the tag. Anders then gladly tags Kol back in. Once Kol gets in, the crowd boos as he nails Edwards with repeated punches to the midsection. Ashlyn De Luca can be seen applauding as Kol hoists up Edwards with a double leg pickup, runs into the corner and rams him back-first into the turnbuckles! Kol continues to unload on Edwards, delivering deep shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then takes Edwards and whips him into the far corner. Kol runs across the ring to attack when Edwards runs out of the corner and cuts him off with a Running STO! The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Kol was running full steam ahead into the corner, but Edwards cut him off with a hard STO!

Edwards picks up Kol and lifts him up for a fireman’s carry. Kol then nails him with elbows to the side of the head. Once Kol slips down from behind, he brings Edwards down with a belly to back suplex.

Stephy Auger: Mmm...

Geoff Penzer: You say something?

Stephy Auger: I’m just admiring the action in the ring...

Kol returns to his feet and drops three consecutive elbows to the chest of Edwards before making the cover.

Kol then heads over and tags in De Luca. Once De Luca gets in, the crowd mostly boos as she rushes over and puts the boots to Edwards. De Luca then starts over and connects with a running elbow strike to Peaches, knocking the PLAS member off the apron and to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Oh come on! Ashlyn is better than that cheap shot!

Kris Cruise: What the heck was that for!?

Stephy Auger: Have any of you ever met Peaches? You’d watch to elbow her in the face, too!

De Luca looks over and sees Anders draping her leg across the top rope. So De Luca picks up Edwards, runs over and slams him face-first into the sole of Ander’s boot! Scott and Kol reach out for the tag. De Luca happily tags Kol back in. Once Kol steps back in throw the ropes, he throws Edwards down with a snap suplex.

Stephy Auger: MMM!

Kris Cruise: You alright over there?

Stephy Auger: Believe me, I’ve never been better.

Geoff Penzer: Alrighty...

Kol turns over into a lateral press.

Kol then picks up Edwards and whips him into the ropes. When Edwards returns, Kol leapfrogs over him. Edwards continues to run the ropes. When Edwards comes back, Kol turns around and drops down to try and trip him up. But Edwards hops over him before continuing to run the ropes. When Edwards returns, he sees Kol setting up for a back body drop. So he stops, grabs Kol by the head and throws him down face-first to the mat with a reverse mat slam! The crowd cheers when Burning Heart turns, runs over towards the corner and knocks De Luca off the apron with a forearm strike! He then drops Anders with a punch to the face! Edwards takes a swipe at Scott. But Scott wisely drops down to the mat. While Edwards yells at Scott, Kol rushes up from behind and goes for a jumping reverse bulldog. But Edwards hangs onto the ropes, causing Kol to slip off of him and smack the back of his head off the canvas!

Kris Cruise: Edwards blocked the jumping reverse bulldog!

Stephy Auger: Dammit!

Edwards picks up Kol, brings him back towards the center of the ring and brings him down with a hangman’s neckbreaker. He then sits Kol up before running into the ropes.

Geoff Penzer: Here we go… Violent Gospel incoming!

When Edwards returns, he throws out the Violent Gospel. But Kol rolls out of the way. When Edwards turns around, he marches back over towards Kol. Kol gets to his feet and goes to double him over with a kick to the midsection. But Edwards catches his foot. Kol hops up and down on one leg before countering with an enzuigiri that sends Edwards flipping down to the mat. The boos continue as he makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Kol is in there roughing up Edwards, just like he’s going to rough up Jimmy Page at Final Frontier! You’re looking at the next World Champ, you know! So get used to the view. I know I have!

Kol gets up and heads into the ropes. As soon as Kol hits the ropes, cheers and boos are heard when Scott tags himself in. Scott steps into the ring. He marches over towards Edwards when Edwards turns, reaches up and tags in Jimmy Page, causing Scott to stop dead in his tracks. Page slowly steps in through the ropes. The two rivals narrows their eyes at each other. The crowd murmurs with anticipation.

Kris Cruise: Oh my God. OOOHHH MYYY GODDD!

Geoff Penzer: Business has just pick up, you guys!

Scott and Page begin to circle the ring. They continue to circle the ring… until Scott turns and tags Kol back in.

Kris Cruise: What!?

Stephy Auger: Why are you complaining? We get to see more Kol and who DOESN’T want to see more Kol?

Geoff Penzer: ...

Kol steps back in and eyes Page from across the ring. They then marches toward the center of the ring and lockup. After jockeying for position, Kol shoves Page back. Page marches back over and locks up with Kol. This time, Kol shoves Page down to the mat! Page gets back to his feet and engages in another collar-and-elbow. This time, Kol runs as he moves Page back before shoving him down to the mat, sending Page rolling underneath the bottom rope and to the floor! The crowd erupts with boos

Stephy Auger: HA! Look at Kol just throwing Page around like he’s nothing!

Page pulls himself up using the edge of the apron. He nods his head at Kol before pulling himself onto the apron with the ropes. The FGA World Champion steps back in. He sizes Kol up before locking up in the center of the ring. After jockeying for position, Kol moves Page back across the ring. At the last second, Page pivots and presses Kol up against the turnbuckles. The ref heads over and gives them until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… FIVE…

The ref gets in and physically has to pry their arms off of each other. He then ducks in between them and tries to separate the two. Kol takes advantage of the ref’s positioning and sucker punches Page!

Kris Cruise: Oh come on!

Geoff Penzer: Another cheap shot!

The boos continue as Kol takes Page and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. Kol turns Page around and doubles him over with multiple shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then takes Page and whips him into the far corner. Kol runs across the ring to attack when Page runs out of the corner and knocks him off his feet with a lariat!

Stephy Auger: NO!

Another lariat knocks Kol back down. He then picks up Kol before whipping him into the ropes. When Kol returns, Page throws out Sole Destruction (discus big boot). But Kol slides underneath it. When Page turns around, Kol jumps up and connects with a dropkick to the knee. Page stumbles back before dropping down to a knee. Kol then runs over and knocks him down with a knee lift. He makes the cover.

Kol picks up Page, runs over and slams him face-first into the corner before tagging De Luca back in. De Luca gets in, turns Page around and nails him with quick jabs to the head and body. She then grabs Page and goes for an irish whip. But Page reverses, sending De Luca crashing into his team’s corner. De Luca tries to get out, but Neal Durden and Peaches all hold her in place!

Stephy Auger: Hey! HEY! Let her go!

Geoff Penzer: De Lucz is in No Man’s Land!

Page runs across the ring before clobbering De Luca with a running corner elbow smash! The crowd explodes with cheers upon impact. He then tags in Peaches. The crowd cheers when Peaches gets in and lights up De Luca’s chest with knife edge chops!

Kris Cruise: De Luca has been running her yap about Peaches and now she’s paying for it!

Geoff Penzer: Look at the Peach State Cutie go!

Stephy Auger: There’s nothing “cute” about Peaches. What idiot names their daughter “Peaches”, anyway?

Peaches pulls De Luca from out of the corner before whipping her into the ropes. When De Luca returns, Peaches throws her down with a back body drop. Peaches then runs to the ropes, comes back and delivers a cartwheel splash! She hooks the leg for the cover.

Peaches picks up De Luca and whips her into the corner. She runs across the ring to attack when De Luca ducks and dumps her over the top rope. After Peaches lands on the apron, she knocks De Luca back with a forearm to the face when she turns around. Peaches scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off the top turnbuckle and connects with a missile dropkick, sending De Luca stumbling back before falling to the mat and rolling to the outside. As De Luca starts to pick herself up, Peaches turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, the crowd cheers when she leaps through the ropes and knocks De Luca down with a suicide dive!

Kris Cruise: Peaches takes Ashlyn down with a dive to the outside!

Peaches climbs up onto the apron, only to get knocked off by a running European Uppercut from Anders!

Geoff Penzer: Where did Izzy come from so fast!?

As Peaches picks herself up on the floor, The Mindkiller turns and runs into the ropes. When Anders returns, cheers and boos follow as she does a Tranquillo Roll in the center of the ring and poses. Anders continues to pose until Edwards leaps off the top turnbuckle and crashes down across her with a flying leg drop to an explosion of cheers!

Kris Cruise: That has to feel good for James Edwards! Not as good as nailing Chandler Scott with the Double Tap! But Anders has been trashing Anders for months and now he’s gotten a small taste of revenge!

Stephy Auger: What he needs to do is get some Burt’s Bees for those lips!

When Edwards gets back to his feet and turns around, the crowd erupts with boos when Kol flattens him with a bicycle kick.

Stephy Auger: WHAT A KICK BY ZADDY… I mean Kol. What a great kick by Kol.

Kol gets down into position as he waits for Edwards. Once Edwards turns over on all fours, Kol pops up and motions for the Broken Dream (Punt Kick). But Page turns him around, doubles him over, lifts him up and throws Kol into the corner with a Turnbuckle Powerbomb to an explosion of cheers!

Kris Cruise: Kol crashes right into the turnbuckles!

When Page turns around, cheers and boos follow as Scott runs over brings him down with a Sling Blade! Scott picks up page and whips him into the ropes. As soon as Page bounces off the ropes, the crowd erupts with cheers and boos when Scott nails him in the face with a Pinpoint Dropkick, knocking Page through the ropes and to the floor.

Before Scott can turns around, Peaches grabs him from behind and brings him down with an inverted facelock backbreaker! When Peaches gets back up and turns around, De Luca knocks her off her feet with a spinning heel kick! She then picks up Peaches, runs and goes for a springboard Tornado DDT. But Peaches counters by shoving De Luca off of her. When De Luca lands on her feet, Peaches runs over to attack. De Luca quickly flattens her with a bicycle kick! De Luca then reaches down, picks up Peaches and whips her hard into the corner. As Peaches staggers away from the corner, De Luca runs over and connects with a front dropkick, sending Peaches flying into the corner! After Peaches bounces off the turnbuckles and crumbles to the mat, she starts to pick herself back up. De Luca then runs over and plants her with a springboard Tornado DDT! She makes the cover.

While Peaches is in a seated position, De Luca steps back towards the center of the ring, runs forward and connects with a dropkick. She then drags Peaches from out of the corner before making the cover.

Peaches picks up De Luca, puts her in a headlock, goes over and tags Durden in. The crowd cheers as Durden gets in, takes De Luca and whips her into the ropes. When De Luca returns, Durden doubles her over with a boot to the midsection. He hoists her up for a sitout double underhook powerbomb. But as soon as De Luca is lifted up onto his shoulders, she nails him with rapid punches to the head. After slipping down from in front of Durden, De Luca grabs him and whips him into the corner. She runs over to attack when Durden comes out of the corner and cuts her off with a running arched big boot! Durden picks up De Luca and whips her into the ropes. When De Luca returns, Durden leapfrogs over her. De Luca continues to run the ropes. When she comes back, Durden drops down to a prone position to trip her up. But De Luca hops over and hits the ropes. Anders then makes the blind tag. When De Luca returns, she slides through Durden’s legs. When Durden turns around, De Luca connects with a roundhouse kick that turns him towards Anders, who lifts him up and brings him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! Cheers and boos follow as she makes the cover.

As Anders gets up, the crowd cheers when Durden runs towards the ropes, comes back and knocks her down with a handspring back elbow! Durden then picks Anders up and whips her into the ropes. When Anders returns, Durden lifts her up across his shoulders, performs an airplane spin, lets her down, gabs her from behind and connects with a ripcord knee strike! While Anders is dazed, the crowd cheers as Durden grabs her and brings her down with an Olympic Slam! He makes the cover.

Durden picks up Anders before turning to run into the ropes. When he comes back, he goes for a tilt-a-whirl DDT. But Anders catches him across her shoulder, runs and throws him into the corner with a Lawn Dart!

Kris Cruise: Durden crashes awkwardly into the corner!

Anders tags Scott back in. Scott gets in, picks up Durden and whips him into the ropes. When Durden returns, the crowd cheers and boos when Scott turns him inside out with a Pinpoint Dropkick! He makes the cover.

But as soon as he gets up there, Scott shoves his legs out from under him, causing him to fall and end up crotched on the top turnbuckle! Scott then grabs Durden and brings him down with the Mass Spike (top rope-hung Cutter)! He turns Durden over and makes the cover.

Durden gets his shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: Durden continues to avoid the three count.

Scott picks up Durden and whips him into the far corner. He then runs across the ring and nails Durden with a running European Uppercut! After sending Durden back into the opposite corner with an irish whip, Scott runs, jumps and goes for a flying corner elbow smash. But Durden dives out of the way, causing Scott to crash into the corner!

Kris Cruise: Scott missed!

Geoff Penzer: Durden’s got an opening!

While Scott stumbles back, Durden crawls across the mat. He then dives over and tags Edwards back in. The crowd explodes with cheers.

Geoff Penzer: Aw, here we go!

When Scott turns around, Edwards runs over and tackles him to the mat with a double leg takedown. The crowd explodes with cheers as Burning Heart mounts himself on top of Scott and rains down rights and lefts.

Kris Cruise: Edwards is unloading on Chandler Scott! Months and months of frustration is going into each of those strikes!

Edwards pulls up Scott and doubles him over with repeated punches to the midsection. He then hoists Scott up before bringing him down with a fireman’s carry gourdbuster! After bouncing off the mat, Scott gets up on his knees. Edwards sees the position he’s in, so he turns and runs into the ropes. When Edwards comes back, he throws out the Violent Gospel. But Scott catches his leg. After returning to his feet, Scott brings Edwards down with a dragon screw leg whip. The crowd gasps, cheers and boos when Scott sets up Edwards for the Scott Lock (Scorpion Death Lock)!

Kris Cruise: Edwards could be in trouble here!

Stephy Auger: Turn him over! TURN HIM OVER!

But Edwards reaches up and nails him with hammer fists to the face! He then picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Edwards throws him down with a snap powerslam! The Burning Heart then steps out onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle.

Geoff Penzer: Edwards is going to the top!

When Edwards gets to the top, he leaps off and goes for a dividing headbutt. But Scott rolls out of the way, causing Edwards to crash face-first onto the mat.

Kris Cruise: OH NO!

Geoff Penzer: Edwards missed!

Stephy Auger: HAAAAA! HAAAAA! HAAAAAA!

Edwards holds his face before slowly turning over. He gets up on all fours. Once Edwards gets back to a vertical base, Scott drives him right back down with a reverse Sling Blade! He then picks up Edwards, lifts him up and brings him down with a Shotgun Stunner. After pulling Edwards up to a seated position, he turns and runs into the ropes. When Scott comes back, he throws out the Sliding D. But Edwards slips out of the way and quickly counters into a Crossface!

Stephy Auger: GAH!

Geoff Penzer: Edwards with the Crossface!

Kris Cruise: Smooth counter there from Edwards! He’s got Scott right in the middle of the ring, too!

The crowd cheers as Edwards pulls back on the hold. But the cheers turn to boos when Kol rushes in and puts the boots to Edwards.

Stephy Auger: There you go, Kol. Get him! GET HIM!

Kol pulls up Edwards and places him in an inverted front facelock. He’s got Edwards set up for the Kol Kutter (Rolling Cutter) when Page connects with Sole Destruction to the back of the head! He then picks up Kol and whips him into the ropes. When Kol returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Page clobbers him with the Concussion (Rolling Elbow).

Stephy Auger: NOOOOOOOOO!

The cheers continue while Kol is sprawled out on the mat.

Kris Cruise: Will that be Kol’s fate at Final Frontier!?

The cheers then turn to boos when De Luca rushes over, hops onto Pages back and flips back, spiking him with a poison rana! Peaches then gets in and runs into the ropes. When De Luca gets to her feet and turns around, the crowd cheers when Peaches drives her down with a spear! Once Peaches gets back to her feet, Anders turns around and unloads on her with Dirty Dancin (Kick Flurry)! She then kicks Peaches in the midsection, hoists her up and plants her with the Aniplex (Cutthroat Brainbuster)! Once The Mindkiller gets back to a vertical base, Durden turns her around, lifts her up across is shoulder and connects with Nirvana’s Fall (fireman’s carry lift dropped into an overhead kick)!

Kris Cruise: There are bodies flying all over the place between both teams, you guys! I can barely keep up!

The crowd is still buzzing when Scott turns Durden around, lifts him up and delivers the CRS Two (End of Heartache)! Durden bounces off of Scott’s knees before rolling across the ring. Gasps and cheers can be heard when Page rolls back inside as Scott gets back to his feet.

Stephy Auger: Turn around, Chandler! TURN AROUND!

Geoff Penzer: Scott doesn’t see him! He has no idea Page is behind him!

Scott eyes widen when he gets grabbed from behind. The crowd cheers when Page takes Scott and throws him down hard with a Half Nelson Suplex.

Kris Cruise: Page just dumped Scott right on his head!

The momentum causes Scott to roll over onto his knees. A dazed Scott reaches up and grabs the side of his neck with one arm while his other arm hangs limp at his side. Just then, Edwards darts past Scott and into the ropes.

Kris Cruise: VIOLENT GOSPEL!

Stephy Auger: No no no… NO NO NO!

When Edwards returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Edwards nearly kicks Scott’s head off with the Violent Gospel.

Geoff Penzer: VIOLENT GOSPEL! EDWARDS CONNECTS! EDWARDS CONNECTS! HE’S GOING FOR THE COVER! HE’S GOT THE COVER!

“ONE!”

Stephy Auger: NO!

“TWO!”

Stephy Auger: NO!!

“THREE!”

Geoff Penzer: YESSSS!!!!!

The crowd explodes with cheers as “My Name is Human” blasts over the PA!

Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, JIMMY PAGE, NEAL DURDEN, PEACHES and JAMES EDWARDS!

The cheers continue as Edwards gets his arm raised in victory. He then goes over to Scott and starts yelling down at him. But Scott is still out cold on the mat.

Geoff Penzer: James Edwards gets the win for his team, as well as payback against Chandler Scott! Edwards hit Chandler Scott once again with the Violent Gospel and this time, Edwards got himself the one, two three! Is this the fate of Chandler Scott!?
