The scene opens in the hallway with BROOKFORD by himself. To get himself warmed up for his huge United States Championship match later tonight, he is shadow boxing. He cuts the air with right jab, left jab, right hook, left uppercut. He pauses momentarily. He goes at it again, left hook, left cross, right uppercut, right jab. As he continues to box the air, Amanda Johnson cautious walks up behind him.

Amanda Johnson: BROOKFORD. Can I get a word with you?

BROOKFORD stops what he is doing. He sighs.

BROOKFORD: No.

Amanda Johnson: But--

BROOKFORD: What part of no don’t you understand?

Amanda Johnson: I don’t want to talk to you anymore than you want to talk to me.

BROOKFORD smirks.

BROOKFORD: Finally, the truth. Was that so hard?

Amanda Johnson: ... no.

BROOKFORD turns around to look at Amanda. He folds his arms. Looking down at her, he continues.

BROOKFORD: I’m not a fan of you. You’re not a fan of mine. I give you credit, you show up. Being sorta cute is a reason to tolerate you. We all got a job to do. Go on Amanda, I’m screwing with you. Ask away.

Amanda Johnson: On the last edition of Flashpoint, you and Salem found a way to work together to earn the right to challenge Savannah Taylor tonight in a triple threat match for the United States Championship. Do you have any final thoughts?

BROOKFORD: I did have this big dramatic speech planned as a matter of fact. Wouldn’t want the champion accusing me of “acting worser than some women.” Or Salem telling me I am all talk. That’s rich coming from a girl who can’t stop expressing herself on the Twitter machine. I’ve at least shown restraint lately.

BROOKFORD: What more do you want me to say, Amanda? We know why we’re here. I have my reason for believing why I should be the reigning, defending champion. Salem has hers. Savannah didn’t have an interest defending the United States Championship against either of us, which was proven when she thought me and Salem’s “differences” would pave the road for her to have an easier title defense tonight against a handpicked stooge of her choosing. So instead of repeating the obvious, I’ll offer this.

BROOKFORD clears his throat.

BROOKFORD: July thirteenth, Glory Road, I choked Sage Clarke out. Up until that point I was your friendly neighborhood Problem Solver. I cared about making money. Beating people up. That was my sole direction. That is what I came to FGA for. I considered winning championships a bonus. Once I weeded out Sage from existence, I asked myself, what’s next? It is fun having people slip you money under the table to take care of their business, in a moment of clarity it dawned on me, I need to take care of my own business. My mind took me back to January. Was unexpected I was put into the United States Championship tournament. Regardless to me feeling Sage is the reason Savannah got off easy in the finals of that tournament, the fact remains I didn’t get the job done. That bothers me.

BROOKFORD: I pride myself on a job well done. Any job I have been paid to do in this company, I collected. Becoming champion, that is a different story. I’m not United States Champion. I am not in the main event of Above and Beyond VI. Setbacks bother me just like they bother everyone else. Results matter. If don’t collect, who is gonna pay me to take care of their business. It is bad business to hire people who can’t take care of theirs. So how can I make myself a billion times more marketable? Easy. Kill two birds with one stone. I correct the mistake made in January when I walk out the new United States Champion. By doing that; I raise my profile ten times over.

BROOKFORD turns his back on Amanda.

BROOKFORD: I got nothing bad to say about either of them. I came here tonight to do a job. When it is all said and done, the problem of me not being United States Champion will be solved. This interview is over.

Amanda is glad to walk away. BROOKFORD returns to shadow boxing as the scene fades.

Melanie Sierra: Above & Beyond Six continues with the following contest! It is a Three Way Dance for the FGA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing the challengers! Frist, already in the ring! Weighing in at a total combined weight of 540 pounds! They are the team of Liam Richardson the Third and “Rumble” Reyes… the DOGS OF WAR!

Geoff Penzer: The Dogs of War being in this match has been a cause of controversy. Many feel, especially Logan Alexander, that the Dogs have been rewarded this match without earning it. But if the Dogs of War are able to escape this match with a win, then we would have no choice but to recognize them as the new Tag Champions.

"May I remind you again, this is a dream, and in dreams, you can do anything you darn please!"

When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain with his tag team partner Peaches hanging onto his arm. They pose for the fans, giving head nods to as many of their supporters as they can before they begin heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on them

Melanie Sierra: Now introducing team number two! Making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 332 pounds! They are the team of Dan Herrera and Peaches… the POLYCHROMATIC LION ATTACK SQUAD!

There's no turning back tonight.

Kiss me one last time[

As Dan and Peaches make their way to the ring Dan slaps hands with the fans on one side of the entrance-way while Peaches walks down the other side slapping hands with the fans there. At the bottom of the entrance way, Peaches leans in and gives Dan a peck on the cheek as the pair climb into the ring. Peaches immediately climbs up onto the nearest turnbuckle and poses with her fists raised into the air while, on the opposite side of the ring, Dan poses in a similar manner on the other turnbuckle. The music dies down as the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad members climb down, ready to start the match.

Geoff Penzer: The team of Dan Herrera and Peaches held the Tag Titles last year, as well as won the award for Best Tag Team of 2017. However, it’s been The Chaotics that have dominated the tag team landscape here in 2018. But in recent months, tension has been high between Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca. We saw what we believed to have been erratic behavior from Alexander in the lead up to the Eight Team Brand War at All-Star Showdown Seven. But Chaos Stryke was able to articulate his frustrations, which stemmed from the issues he’s had with Flashpoint GM Hadley Herrera and her management of the brand. Some of those same opinions have been shared by De Luca as well. Dan Herrera, our GM’s half brother, has tried to remain partial on the issue. But Peaches hasn’t exactly held back on her views on The Chaotics in recent weeks. Her words could come back to bite her big time here tonight.

The lights in the arena slowly fade to darkness. While this hushes some members of the audience, others grow loud in anticipation. “Deadcruiser” hits the PA system and a silver-blue strobe begins to dance near the top of the ramp, revealing a feminine figure with a hoodie thrown over wrestling gear, back turned toward the ring. As the lights in the arena begin to systematically brighten, it becomes clear that the figure is Ashlyn De Luca. The arena plunges into darkness once more, earning a cheap pop from the live audience for theatrics-- before all of the lights scream to life, casting a blinding glow down on Ashlyn. While Ashlyn De Luca now faces the ring, arms still above her head with both belts, our camera swing to reveal Logan standing with his back to hers, arms held out straight to the side. Ashlyn lowers her arms, pointing a two-handed “finger gun” toward the camera with a smirk, though she abandons it as she and the hooded Logan Alexander abruptly part, marching toward the ring with a purpose.

Melanie Sierra: And their opponents! Making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 369 pounds! They are the reigning, defending FGA World Tag Team Champions! They are the team of Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca… THE CHAOTICS!

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, Ashlyn pauses just once to survey the audience while Logan walks to the ring apron, stepping inside. Ashlyn ever-so-faintly smiles into the audience again before rushing to the barricade. Our hard camera takes over, with Ashlyn leaping onto the barricade, arms wide with each hand holding each Tag Title as she screams back out into the raucous audience. Behind her, Logan mounts the bottom-and-middle ropes, arms held to his side in a similar pose. Ashlyn drops from the barricade, sliding into the ring beneath the ropes and Logan, hopping to her feet on the opposite side of the ring, screaming out into the other side of the audience as they rise to their feet. Logan drops down from the ropes and bumps forearms with De Luca in the center of the ring as they pass each other, mounting opposite corners to look out into the masses. The Chaotics remove their hoodies, tossing them simultaneously into the crowd as their music fades.


Geoff Penzer: The Cbaotics have been through a lot lately. They’ve had to deal with the challenges of the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad, to the attacks from the Dogs of War, to their frustrations with Hadley Herrera, to their issues with each other. The Chaotics have come out together. But De Luca still has possession of both tag title belts, so we now that Alexander still feels that he hasn’t earned the right to carry his half of those belts yet. Can The Chaotics work together as a cohesive unit here tonight to turn away both challenger and retain their Tag Titles?

All six grapplers are in the ring. Each pairing are currently in their respective corners. As soon as the opening bell sounds, Logan Alexander makes a beeline over towards the Dogs of War to attack! But before he can hit either Rumble Reyes or Liam Richardson III, Peaches blindsides him with a running butt bump. Ashlyn De Luca then darts over and absolutely clocks Peaches with a stiff forearm strike, knocking her down to the mat! While Peaches clutches her jaw, De Luca doesn’t relent as she stomps away on Peaches before delivering several kicks to the back! Peaches tries to curl up. But De Luca shows no mercy. De Luca continues to kick away at Peaches until Herrera grabs her from behind, runs and tosses her over the top rope and to the floor!

Alexander then spins Herrera around and catches him with multiple right hands to the face. He then whips Herrera into the far ropes. Instead of coming back, Herrera hangs onto the ropes. Alexander goes after him when Herrera ducks and dumps him over the top rope. Instead of crashing to the floor, Alexander lands safely on the apron. Herrera turns around and goes for a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But Alexander counters by catching him in a front facelock. Before Alexander can follow up, Reyes runs over and connects with a big boot, knocking Alexander off the apron and to the floor!

Back in the ring, Reyes takes Herrera and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He turns Herrera around and beats away at his chest with clubbing strikes. A series of back elbow strikes follow. After whipping Herrera into the far corner, Reyes barrels across the ring to attack when Herrera cuts him off with a back elbow to the face. He then hoists himself up onto the middle ropes, grabs Reyes and plants him with a Tornado DDT! The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Herrera with the first nearfall of this contest. This match is first fall to a finish. The Chaotics could lose their titles here tonight without being involved in the pin or submission.

On the outside, Alexander can be seen picking himself back up. He looks over and sees Richardson up on the apron. Alexander begins to go after him. But he’s once again cut off. This time, by Peaches, who leaps through the ropes and blindsides him with a suicide dive! She then picks up Alexander and goes for an irish whip. But Alexander reverses, sending Peaches down ringside and into the guardrail.

Geoff Penzer: Peaches crashes hard into the rail.

Alexander turns back around to go after Richardson. But he’s cut off by Herrera, who rolls to the outside, turns Alexander around and socks him with multiple right hands! He goes for an irish whip. But once again, Alexander is able to reverse, sending Herrera crashing into the guardrail right next to Peaches. Alexander runs down ringside to attack when PLAS lean forward and counter with a back body drop, sending Alexander over the guardrail and into the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: The Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad may have just eliminated Alexander from this match for the time being!

PLAS high five each other as they make their way from the scene. Out of nowhere comes De Luca like a speeding bullet, nearly knocking Peaches head off with a running suicide dropkick through the ropes to the side of the head! Once De Luca gets to her feet, she goes back to kicking the hell out of Peaches.

Geoff Penzer: De Luca is making it a point to repeatedly go after Peaches hard!


Herrera runs her over with a running shoulder block. He then picks up De Luca and rolls her back inside. Once Herrera rolls back in, he’s met with several kicks to the ribs. Herrera lets out a guttural wail as De Luca continues to kick the hell out of him. She then picks Herrera up, runs into the corner and rams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Herrera around, De Luca unleashes a flurry of stiff forearm strikes to the face. The thud of flesh colliding at a high speed echos throughout the arena. Herrera tries to cover up. But De Luca bursts through his defense and sends him slumping down in the corner with a continued flurry of firearm strike. While Herrera is in a seated position, De Luca grabs the top rope with both hands before stomping a mudhole in his chest. She then steps back before delivering a hard kick to the throat. Herrera immediately clutches his throat with both hands. Peaches climbs back on the apron and scolds De Luca. De Luca responds by darting over and sokcing Peaches with a right hand, sending the PLAS member twirling off the apron and down to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: My God, what a right!

As De Luca steps back towards the center of the ring, Reyes runs her over with a clothesline from behind. He drops down, yanks De Luca over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: De Luca defiantly kicks out at one!

Reyes grabs De Luca by the hair. After he pulls De Luca back to her feet, she swats his hands from off of her and nails him with a forearm strike to the face. De Luca rears back and throws forward another hard forearm strike. This one knocks Reyes back three steps. She then goes over and kicks Reyes as hard as she can in the shin. With Reyes now up on one foot, De Luca delivers a stomp to his foot. Once Reyes drops down to his knees, De Luca jabs the hell out of Reyes’ face to the point that his right cheek starts to swell up! De Luca then steps back before running forward and nailing him with a front dropkick to the face. Once Reyes falls down to his back, De Luca makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: I can’t recall the last time I’ve seen De Luca this aggressive! She’s really fed up with everything! Now she’s going for the cover...

Herrera takes Reyes and whips him into the ropes. When Reyes returns, Herrera knocks him back with a a lariat. He then takes a few steps back before running over and delivering a second lariat. Reyes stumbles back a few more steps. Herrera then turns and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Reyes reaches out and grabs him by the throat. Before Reyes can chokeslam him, Herrera delivers a clubbing strike to the wrist, knocking Reyes’ hand off of him. The crowd cheers when Herrera follows up by clobbering Reyes with a discus elbow strike that knocks him down. Herrera makes the cover.

De Luca breaks up the pin with a leaping Meteora across the back!

De Luca takes Herrera and goes for an irish whip. But Herrera reverses, sending her into the ropes. When De Luca returns, Herrera throws out a lariat. But De Luca ducks and runs the ropes. Herrera’s momentum takes him into the near ropes, where Peaches makes the blind tag. When both grapplers return, Herrera throws out a second lariat. Again, De Luca ducks. But as soon as she puts her head back up, the crowd cheers when Peaches knocks her down with a missile dropkick! She makes the cover.

Peaches moves De Luca into the corner and blasts her with a knife edge chop. Peaches says something to De Luca before firing off another knife edge chop. De Luca then grabs Peaches by the hair, flings her into the corner and sends her slumping down in the corner with stiff forearm strikes. She then grabs a hold of the top rope with both hands before stomping a mudhole in Peaches’ chest. De Luca then steps back towards the center of the ring, runs forward and nails Peaches with a toe kick right to the throat! Peaches goes down. She can be heard coughing loudly while she covers her throat. The ref tires to get in between De Luca and Peaches so that he can attend to Peaches. But De Luca nudges him out of the way and goes back to stomping away on Peaches. There are some light boos with how aggressive De Luca is being. But The Mayor of Ashlanta is mostly cheers by the capacity crowd. De Luca reaches down, yanks up Peaches, runs and flings her across the ring! After Peaches tumbles across the canvas, she starts to pick herself up. De Luca lines her up before darting across the ring and connecting with a front dropkick that sends Peaches flying back-first into the turnbuckles! After Peaches bounces off the turnbuckles, she crumbles back to the canvas. She shakes out the cobwebs before getting up onto a knee. When Peaches returns to a vertical base, De Luca runs up from behind and connects with a front dropkick to the back, sending Peaches flying into the ropes. Peaches bounces off the ropes before crumbling to the canvas. Peaches turns over on all fours. But a punt kick to the ribs from De Luca knocks Peaches onto her back! De Luca then stomps away on Peaches’ chest before delivering a jumping down. De Luca kepes her foot held in place while she presses her heel into Peaches’ chest.

Geoff Penzer: De Luca isn’t holding anything back against Peaches here tonight!

This continues until Richardson, who was tagged in by Reyes, knocks De Luca down from behind with a clothesline. He then picks up De Luca, lifts her up onto his shoulders, runs over towards the corner and hits a rolling fireman’s carry into a springboard moonsault off the second rope. He hooks the leg.

Richardson picks up De Luca, moves her into the corner and delivers multiple clothesline to the point of exhaustion. He then goes for an irish whip. But De Luca reverses, follows him across the ring and connects with a hard corner dropkick to the face! Instead of following up on Richardson, De Luca makes a beeline over to Peaches, who is up on a knee. But she doesn’t stay there for long as De Luca hits the far ropes, returns and flattens her with a Shining Wizard! She makes the cover.

De Luca forcefully presses her arm back down and makes the cover.

De Luca then pulls up Peaches by the arm before sending her into the corner. She then runs over and connects with a corner Shining Wizard. A hard thud could be heard when De Luca’s knee collides with Peaches’ chin! While Peaches is dazed, De Luca takes her and chucks her through the ropes and onto the apron. De Luca forcefully steps out onto the apron, pulls Peaches up by the hair and pulls her into a front facelock. Gasps can be heard as De Luca tries to lift her up for a brainbuster on the apron.

Geoff Penzer: Oh no! Come on, Ashlyn! There’s no need for this!

De Luca continues to try and hoist Peaches up. But Peaches wraps her left arm around the middle rope and holds on for dear life. De Luca then lets go of the front facelock, grabs Peaches by the hair with both hands and tries to yank her off the middle rope. After several tugs, De Luca is able to pry Peaches off. After a hard knee to the face, De Luca pulls Peaches into a front facelock. But before De Luca can hoist Peaches up and plant her on the apron with a brainbuster, the crowd cheers when Herrera runs across the ring and blindsides De Luca with a discus forearm strike, sending both De Luca and Peaches crumbling to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Herrera makes the save! If De Luca hit the brainbuster on the way, it would have been over.

On the outside, Herrera motions to go after De Luca when Alexander comes out of nowhere with a lariat takedown! Before Alexander can turn around and go after the Dogs of War again, Reyes and Richardson grab him from behind, run and throw him face-first into the ring post. After Alexander’s face bounces off the ring post, the boos continue as Chaos Stryke falls to the floor on his back!

Geoff Penzer: Alexander has repeatedly tried to go after the Dogs of War all match. This time, the Dogs got to him before he could get to them!

Back across ringside, the Dogs of War put the boots to De Luca, then Peaches, then Herrera. Reyes then takes Peaches and rolls her back inside. Richardson rolls back in, takes De Luca and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Richardson delivers a hip toss, cartwheels over, clasps his hands and follows up with a dropkick to the face. He makes the cover.

De Luca kicks out.

Richardson picks up De Luca and whips her back into the ropes. When she returns, Richardson brings her down with a Flapjack before transitioning into an ankle lock. The ref gets down and asks De Luca if she wants to give up. When she refuses, Richardson begins cranking away on the ankle. After pushing herself up onto her hands, she rolls forward, sending Richardson crashing into the corner. Once Richardson turns around, De Luca runs into the corner to attack. But Richardson counters with a boot to the face. While De Luca stumbles back, Richardson slingshots out onto the apron before planting her with a springboard DDT! He makes the cover.

Richardson picks up De Luca before hoisting her up onto his shoulders. Before Richardson can deliver the rolling fireman’s carry, Herrera gets in and lifts Richardson up onto his shoulders with an Electric Chair! The crowd gasps as Herrera carries Richardson over towards the corner while Richardson still has De Luca up on his shoulders. Peaches climbs up onto the apron.

Geoff Penzer: What in the world is about to happen here?

Peaches scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks Richardson off of Herrera’s shoulders with a flying front dropkick. As Richardson falls to the mat, his momentum ends up causing him to deliver a Samoan Drop to De Luca! Cheers and applause can be heard from the capacity crowd while Peaches makes the cover on Richardson.

Peaches makes the tag over to Herrera. Once Herrera gets in, PLAS take De Luca and whip her into the far ropes. When De Luca returns, they set up for a double back body drop. But De Luca stops and counters with a hard kick to the face of Herrera, followed by a hard knee lift to the face of Peaches. While PLAS are momentarily adzed, De Luca turns and runs back into the far ropes. When she returns, the crowd cheers when PLAS turn her inside out with a double clothesline! When PLAS turn to the side, Richardson runs over to attack when they counter with a catching hip toss! Herrera makes the cover.

Herrera then takes Richardson, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor. He then reaches over, pulls up De Luca, lifts her up and follows up with a Samoan Drop. He makes the cover.

Herrera heads over and tags Peaches back in. After he whips De Luca into the far corner, Herrera runs over and connects with a lariat. Once he drops down on all fours in front of De Luca, the crowd cheers when Peaches runs across the ring and delivers the Up & At ‘Em (Poetry in Motion)! De Luca crumbles to the mat before Peaches makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Good ring awareness there by the champion.

Peaches picks up De Luca and delivers an inverted facelock backbreaker. She then pulls De Luca back up, delivers a rib breaker and follows up with a fallaway slam! Peaches pulls De Luca back up before shoving her off into the ropes. When De Luca returns, the cheers continue when Peaches brings her down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. She makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Peaches with another nearfall! De Luca is avoiding the three count. But did you notice the delay in her getting her shoulder up! Peaches is starting to wear her down.

Peaches sends De Luca back into the ropes. When De Luca returns, the cheers continue when Peaches throws her down with a sitout spinebuster! The left slides into place for the cover.

The crowd cheers when De Luca gets her shoulder up.

Peaches brings De Luca down with an overdrive. She then steps out onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle before crouching down. Once De Luca returns to her feet, Peaches stands up and leaps off for a diving crossbody block. But De Luca counters with a front dropkick in mid air!

Geoff Penzer: De Luca with the well-timed countered!

Peaches curls up on the mat while De Luca slowly turns over on all fours. When De Luca looks straight ahead, she sees Herrera in the PLAS corner. She looks to her left and sees Alexander pulling himself up in The Chaotics’ corner. She then starts to pull herself towards her corner. Alexander reaches his arm out as much as he can in anticipation of the tag. The capacity crowd is rallying behind De Luca and The Chaotics. De Luca continues to pull herself closer and closer towards the corner. She looks over and gauges the distance between herself and Alexander’s outstretched arm. She then makes the decision to leap over for the tag! Just as she’s about to make the tag, Richardson yanks Alexander off the apron!

Geoff Penzer: Oh come on!

Richardson turns away and casually rounds the ring post. Once Alexander pulls himself back up, he looks over at Richardson and has has enough. Alexander rounds the ring post and tackles Richardson down to the mat! Chaos Stryke mounts himself on top of Richardson and rains down repeated punches to the back of the head.

Geoff Penzer: Alexander has had it up to here with the Dogs of War!

Alexander continues to pummel away on a defenseless Richardson as Reyes hops off the apron and marches over. Alexander gets up off of Richardson and greets Reyes with a flurry of right hands He then takes Reyes and whips him down ringside and into the guardrail. Alexander marches down, picks up Reyes and whips him down ringside and into another section of the guardrail! Charos Stryke marches down, grabs Reyes and whips him down ringside and into a third section of the guardrail! Alexander still hasn't had enough! He marches down ringside, pulls Reyes off the guardrail, takes him and whips him hard into the steel steps, sending the top and bottom halves of the steps tumbling across the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Logan Alexander has absolutely lost it on the outside, ladies and gentlemen!

Alexander continues to put the boots to Reyes as Herrera heads over and turns him around. But Alexander stiffs him with a punch to the face, dropping hi!. He then pulls up Herrera before whipping him down ringside and into a section of the guardrail. Alexander turns back to Reyes, who is up on all fours. But not for long when Alexander nails him with a punt kick to the ribs! He then pulls Reyes up onto his knees and places the side of his head near the ring post. Alexander steps back before superkicking Reyes’ head against the ring post! After the side of Reyes’ head bounces off the ring post, Rumble faceplants to the mat!

Geoff Penzer: Reyes is down and out!

Alexander pulls up Reyes by the back of the tights before delivering the Chaotics Repeater (multiple rolling German Suplexes)! On the fifth German Suplex, Alexander lets go and deliberately suplexes Reyes into the guardrail!

Geoff Penzer: Good God! Logan Alexander is showing trying to destroy Reyes on the outside!

Chaos Stryke marches down towards Richardson before peeling back the protective padding to expose the concrete floor, which garners cheers from the crowd.

Geoff Penzer: This isn’t good. This isn’t good!

The crowd explodes with cheers when Alexander pulls up Richardson, lifts him up and plants him with the Chaotic Shockwave (Implant DDT) on the exposed floor! He then grabs Richardson by the neck before slowly pulling him back up. He then takes Richardson and drops him on the exposed floor with Stryke Force (Ace Crusher)!

Geoff Penzer: Alexander drops Richardson twice onto the exposed floor!

The crowd gasps when Alexander picks up Richardson and lifts him up onto his shoulders.

Geoff Penzer: Not the Chaotic Evolution!

When Alexander turns around, Herrera lunges forward and spears him down on the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Herrera takes out Alexander!

Back inside, De Luca runs over at Peaches when Peaches counters with a moonsault side slam! After dragging De Luca into position, Peaches steps out onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. She then leaps off and goes for the Booty Drop (top rope seated senton) when De Luca rolls out of the way. Peaches crashes in a seated position of the mat! Peaches howls in pain while she grabs her lower back. She slowly turns over into a prone position. Peaches slowly pushes herself up on all fours. Once she gets back to her feet and turns to face the center of the ring, De Luca runs over and plants her with a springboard Tornado DDT!

While Peaches is sprawled out on the mat, De Luca turns over towards and begins crawling towards her corner. She then gets up and staggers into the corner. But Alexander isn’t there. He’s still down on the floor. When De Luca turns around, she sees Peaches trying to pull herself over towards her corner. So she rushes over, drags Peaches back to the center of the ring and goes for a leaping Meteora. But Peaches rolls out of the way, causing De Luca to crash her knees on the mat! She then rolls over, dives and tags Herrera back in.

Once Herrera gets in, the crowd cheers when he knocks De Luca down with a lariat. He sends De Luca back to the mat with another lateral. De Luca is then sent into the ropes with an irish whip. When De Luca returns, Herrera throws her down with a belly to belly suplex! He makes the cover.

De Luca gets her shoulder up.

Herrera picks up De Luca and hoists her up onto his shoulders with an Electric Chair. De Luca then rains down hard elbows to the top of the head before flipping back and spiking Herrera with a poison rana! She then rolls forward, dives into the corner and tags Alexander back in. When Alexander gets in, Herrera rushes over and throws out a discus elbow strike. But Alexander ducks, grabs him from behind and delivers the Chaotic Repeater! After the fifth german has been delivered, Peaches rushes over to attack. Alexander then ducks the strike, grabs Peaches from behind and goes for the Chaotic Repeater. But Peaches counters with a back elbow to the face. She then performs a standing switch and jumps onto Alexander’s shoulders for a reverse frankensteiner. But before she can flip back, Alexander pushes her off his shoulders. Once she lands in front of him, Alexander applies the waist lock and goes for another German. This time, Peaches rotates in the air and lands on her feet. As Peaches runs at him, Alexander throws out a superkick. But Peaches is able to duck the kick. As soon as Peaches sticks her head up, the crowd cheers when De Luca flattens her with a bicycle kick! She then picks up Peaches, lifts her up, runs towards the corner and delivers a Buckle Bomb! Once Peaches slumps down in the corner, De Luca follows up with a dropkick! De Luca turns around and sees Herrera tries to pick himself up in the center of the ring. Behind him is Alexander in the far corner. The crowd cheers when the Chaotics then run towards the center of the ring and clobber Herrera with the Double Tap (superkick to one side of the head from Alexander, spinning heel kick to the other side of the head from De Luca)! Alexander then takes Herrera and hooks his arms around his legs. The crowd explodes with cheers when the Chaotics then deliver the C5 (slingshot into a leaping sitout facebuster) to Herrera! Alexander turns him over and makes the cover.

The cheers continue as De Luca and Alexander get their arms raised in victory.

Geoff Penzer: The Chaotics have done it! The Chaotics have retained their championship!

The ref heads over and hands De Luca both FGA World Tag Team Title belts. De Luca lifts the belts up across both shoulders. She then turns and sees Alexander. De Luca looks down at the belt on her right shoulder before looking back over at Alexander.

Geoff Penzer: The Chaotics have retained the FGA World Tag Team Titles! They overcame their challengers in the ring! They were able to work together by getting on the same page and doing what they do best.

As “Deadcruiser” dies down, Peaches rolls back into the ring to tend to Herrera while De Luca slowly makes her way over towards Alexander.

Geoff Penzer: What’s this?

The crowd murmurs while De Luca and Alexander continue to stare at one another. De Luca begins to slowly slip the Tag Title from off her right shoulder. The belt slips down her arm and into her hand. She looks at the belt before holding it out for Alexander once more.

Geoff Penzer: Recently Alexander has felt like he didn’t deserve to hold his half of the Tag Titles after everything that he’s done recently. Will tonight be the night that he finally accepts his half of the titles back?

Alexander puts his hands on his hips as he looks down at the belt. He looks up at De Luca… and accepts the championship belt.

Geoff Penzer: YES! Alexander’s accepted his half of the titles back! What a sight this is!

The crowd applauds The Chaotics as “Deadcruiser” blasts over the PA once more. De Luca and Alexander raise their titles high in the hair. The team then turn, step through the ropes and make their way up the aisle. The Chaotics talk as they make their way up the ramp… before pivoting, rushing back down to ringside, rolling back in, running over and putting the boots to the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad!

Geoff Penzer: WHAT!?

There’s initial large pop from the crowd upon seeing The Chaotics kick and stomp away at PLAS. But the cheers slowly dissolve until into some boos.

Geoff Penzer: What’s the meaning of this!? What in the world is going on here!?

Alexander picks up Herrera and whips him into the ropes. When Herrera turns, Alexander nearly breaks him in half with a violent spear! Across the ring, De Luca pulls up Peaches, lifts her upside down and slams her down with the Crashlanta (Styles Clash) on her half of the Tag Belts.

Geoff Penzer: NO! NO NO NO! Why are they doing this!? What has gotten into The Chaotics?

De Luca nudges Peaches over onto her back before reaching down and swiping up her Tag Title belt. The Chaotics look around at the capacity crowd, who are reigning down equal parts cheers and boos. De Luca and Alexander take their Tag Titles and leave the ring before walking up the ramp, leaving PLAS a broken mess behind in the ring...

"The Staples Center holds some history for me."

As per usual, James Edwards delivers his line in the same matter of fact manner FGA fans associate with a Grappler of his constant state of seriousness. He stands alone with his back to the wall, the door to the men's dressing room directly to his left.

James Edwards: I had my first pay-per-view fight in FGA against Mark Storm here at the 2017 edition of All-Star Showdown. I lost that fight. I remember walkin' back through the curtain and getting pats on the back from complete strangers. They told me it was one of the best matches they'd seen all year and that I had nothing to hang my head over. At the time, I thought that was bullshit, and I thought those folks were full of it, man. They saw me lose. What was the point of the fight if I failed? I didn't get it then.

James crosses his arms and takes on a contemplative air.

James Edwards: I didn't get it then that fights like that are rare; the ones that fans in the stands don't want to see end; the ones where your opponent frustrate you so damn much you have to smile at the irony because you know they feel the same way you do; the ones that in a year you still think back to and realize you were at your absolute best that night and a little bit of bad luck was the only thing separating you from victory. Those nights...

For a moment, James looks like he sees the Promised Land off in the horizon.

James Edwards: Those nights and fights are the ones I live for. I haven't had one since, but when I do, I'll damn sure appreciate it, especially with the hell I've gone through over the last year. Y'all have heard it before, so I won't bore you with the details, but all that was bad luck, most of it I brought on myself. Tonight was supposed to be the night I turned it all around by facin' a former FGA World Champion. It was supposed to be the night I staked my claim to being the undisputed number one contender for the International Heavyweight Championship. Obviously, that didn't happen I ran into more bad luck, this time wearin' the mask of Brian Stryker.

Edwards uncrosses his arms and stands up ram-rod straight.

James Edwards: I don't care why you decided to run your mouth about me Brian; I don't give two shits why you kept jumpin' me from behind. All I care about is that you're trying to take my focus away from my goal. I told you I don't have time to deal with your silly ass. You didn't listen, man, and the moment you decided to do that was when your luck ran out.

Edwards motions to the cameraman to come closer until the "Burning Heart's" face is the only thing that fills the screen.

James Edwards: Look at me while I say this Brian, listen carefully. Tonight ain't about making history to me; it isn't about creating a memory that the folks in the crowd that will last a lifetime. Tonight is about one thing, and one thing only: me putting my hand around your throat and not letting go until the imprints of my hands are tattooed around it. I want them there as a reminder to you, Brian. I want you to remember that you brought this luck on yourself; I want you to remember your failure is a product of your own arrogance and inability to focus; I want you to remember tonight as the night I stepped on your carcass and right into the world title picture while you go to the back of the line!

Making their way through the Staples Center’s entrance, Johnny Karma and Cherry Baum have foregone their usual back-and-forth chit-chat and are instead making their way to meet their destiny with a quiet focus, knowing full well that not a single syllable needs to be said about what it means when Karma stands across the ring from Chandler Scott later this evening

As the duo make their way through the corridors, with Karma sharing the occasional friendly nod to the various backstage staff while Cherry flashes a few smiles, the quiet focus is broken when Amanda Johnson catches up to them with her mic in hand

Amanda Johnson: Johnny, Cherry, could I have a moment of your time? I have a few questions about tonight’s International Heavyweight Championship match against Chandler Scott.

Startled by the unexpected intrusion, Karma looks to Cherry who in turn looks towards Amanda, who is looking towards Karma with a hopeful look on her face that she’ll get some kind of scoop, and after a moment’s stand-off Karma merely shrugs

Johnny Karma: Sure, what do you want to ask?

Amanda Johnson: The first question I have to ask, and it’s the question a lot of people have been asking…

Before Amanda can finish, Cherry cuts in, much to Karma’s surprise

Cherry Baum: Look, Amanda, I get. There’s a bunch of Chandler Scott fanboys out there feeling butthurt because we said their hero isn’t whiter than white, but if they get bent out of shape about that they really need to do themselves a favour and re-watch the way he carried on the last time he was in this position and they’ll soon realise that if somebody does something bad then they can be criticised for it.

Once Cherry answers the question she was expecting she isn’t met with a presumed follow-up, instead she’s met with a moment’s awkward silence as Amanda has a confused expression on her face, and after a few more seconds she apologetically says…

Amanda Johnson: I was going to ask how confident Johnny was feeling ahead of tonight’s title match.

Once again the scene descends into an awkward silence with Cherry is rooted to the spot, mortified at going off half-cocked like she just did, while Karma is deeply uncomfortable because he knows that no matter what his answer to the intended question will be, there is a guaranteed follow-up question that Amanda is going to be far more interested in

Realising that there are currently three people standing in silence in a corridor, Karma decides that he may as well answer the initial question and tackle whatever follows when it comes

Johnny Karma: To be honest I’d be lying if I said I was calm, cool and collected just as anyone else in my position would be, because there’s so much pressure going into this match. Title matches don’t grow on trees, so you have to wrestle the perfect match because one mistake could lead to…

Karma mimes something going up in a puff of smoke

Johnny Karma: …and then you lose your place in the line to somebody else, and you have to look on and see somebody else in the shoes you thought you’d be filling, and believe me it hurts to be in that position because you spend every waking moment trying to work out what the one thing you could’ve done differently was.

With a sharp intake of breath, Karma circles back to the question at hand

Johnny Karma: Am I confident ahead of this match? Yes, because I’ve been in this position before and come through with my arm raised and a belt in my hand, just as I’ve faced Chandler Scott before and proven I can take the best he can throw at me and still come out on top. But while I’m confident that doesn’t mean I’m not shaking like a leaf ahead of this match because it’s huge, and while plenty of people will try and tell you they don’t get nervous ahead of title matches, that either makes them a liar or a sociopath.

Karma lets out a deep breath before he looks over to Cherry, then back to Amanda, and with a hint of resignation in his voice he asks…

Johnny Karma: Okay, how about the other question…

Cherry barely manages to raise her eyes from the floor as she looks over to Karma and either mouths the word “Sorry” or she is genuinely so upset she can’t get the words out, with Karma returning a rather terse nod before he turns his eyes back in Amanda’s direction as he waits for what’s to come

Amanda Johnson: On the last edition of Flashpoint we heard Chandler accuse you of harbouring a personal grudge against him for some time, and you were using that grudge to paint him as somebody willing to recruit the likes of BROOKFORD to help him reach his goal. Do you agree with that accusation?

At first Karma shakes his head for a few seconds with what appears to be a smile on his face, almost as if he finds it funny when he hears somebody else say that out loud – but then he exhales sharply and his demeanour is very different, as he looks a lot more serious and his tone of voice is a lot firmer

Johnny Karma: Here’s the thing about Chandler Scott: do I respect him as an athlete? Of course I do, because there’s a reason he’s stuck around at the level he’s at for so long and it’s not because his opponents keep tripping over their shoelaces. But as a person…

Inhaling through his teeth, Karma wears the expression of a man looking for the closest thing to a diplomatic answer

Johnny Karma: Look, we all know that he’s a large part of the reason I decided that I needed to be a better person, if not just to prove you don’t have to be a Kholerye to get ahead but also so I could look at myself in the mirror without asking whose reflection I was really looking at. On the one hand at least he has enough respect for me and my intelligence not to deny it, yet instead he tried to justify it even though he knows full well that there’s hundreds of ways to win a match and only a handful of those are taking the cheapest shortcut you can think of, yet that’s the one he went for the first time he and I faced off for the title – yet on the other hand, the second time we faced off, I proved to be a man of my word and I won.

A wry smirk forms on Karma’s face

Johnny Karma: That’s the thing about any opponent: you can prepare for their best and have a good chance of coming out on top, although someone like Chandler the list of people who can do that is pretty short, but preparing for their worst? You get inside your own head trying to work out what their worst will be, so when word got around backstage about Chandler having a meeting with BROOKFORD, there’s a reason why people might come to a certain conclusion - not that I’m saying Cherry was right with how she approached Chandler, as she should’ve walked away when it was clear things were going south faster than a very fast thing – but Chandler needs to accept that given his history, especially when titles are involved, he needs to accept that people will remember what his worst involves. So do I like the guy? Let me put it this way: I like to watch his matches, but I wouldn’t like to have him watch my house for the weekend – but don’t think that’s more important than the match itself, because the match itself and the title it is for is what’s important tonight.

With a knowing smile, Karma nods to Amanda to tell her that’s more than enough interview for now considering he’s got a title match later this evening, which Amanda picks up on

Amanda Johnson: Okay, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, and good luck later tonight in your match against Chandler.

Giving an appreciative nod, Karma mouths “Thank you” as Amanda leaves and looks for another interviewee, with Karma watching her leave until he’s sure that she’s out of earshot and looks over to Cherry

Johnny Karma: Okay, what was that?

Cherry Baum: I’m sorry, I just…

Grabbing the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger, Karma shakes his head for a couple of seconds while letting out an exasperated sigh before he looks up once more

Johnny Karma: You know, now isn’t the time, but no matter what happens tonight…

Sensing what’s coming, Cherry shakes her head desperately trying to convince Karma not to say what he’s about to say – but it’s too late, as the words are hitting the breeze

Johnny Karma: …we need to talk.

James Edwards vs. Brian Stryker

"Watch Me Burn" starts playing as Brian Stryker comes walking out from the back. He has his hood up as he keeps his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. Strolling down the ramp, Stryker looks at a few of his former fans as they boo him, smiling at them as he fakes them out with sudden move, laughing as they flinch. He climbs up the steps as he climbs over the ropes into the ring. He stands in the center of the ring as he unzips his hoodie and lets it fall off him as he stands there posing like a Greek statue.

Melanie Sierra: Above & Beyond Six continues with the following contest, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Maui, Hawaii! He is you're savior of the masses, the Man you all came to see. Welcome to The Brian Stryker Experience!

Once he finished basking in the "cheers" of his adoring public, Stryker kicks his hoodie out of the ring and leans sideways against the turnbuckle and waits.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent…

Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. Never leave Stryker.

Melanie Sierra: From Lexington, Kentucky, weighing in at 234 pounds… he is JAMES EDWARDS!

Edwards laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own, turning his eyes toward Stryker, burning with rage as the music fades and the lights return to normal.

Geoff Penzer: The referee is signaling for the bell, and we all know how eager James Edw-- OH!

The bell is still ringing when James Edwards rushes across the ring, planting Stryker between the eyes with a right hand!

Geoff Penzer: Edwards is wasting no time! He’s stayed mad!

Stryker goes head-over-heels to the mat and Edwards follows up, taking him down with a side headlock and firing away with closed fists to a roar from the crowd-- but Stryker slides out of the ring beneath the bottom rope, eyes wide, face red… before he cackles, pointing toward James Edwards.

Geoff Penzer: He thinks this is funny. Brian Stryker has been burrowing himself into the head of James Edwards for weeks. For months. And sooner or la-- here comes Edwards again!

James goes for a Baseball Slide to the laughing Stryer, but Stryer stumbles to his feet, out of harm’s way! James goes after him, giving chase, but Stryker sprints away, keeping about a foot of distance between himself and Edwards. At the last moment, Stryker uses the ring post to swing himself back into the ring under the bottom rope, rolling to his feet. He shoots the far ropes as James Edwards slides back into the ring-- and Stryker plants him with a Spike Hurricanrana! Edwards is spiked, performing in involuntary headstand for a moment before Stryker pushes him down, hooking both legs!

Geoff Penzer: Deep cover! Oh my God, Stryker could run away with this thing after sixty seconds!

James Edwards emphatically kicks out, rolling onto his side. Stryker rises to his feet with a grin… before beginning to mercilessly stomp away at Edwards. Edwards covers up, but Stryker drops down and rips him to his feet, roughly Irish Whipping him into the corner. Stryker runs forward for an Elbow, but Edwards covers up-- and Stryker nails a stomp to the gut instead. Edwards’ hands instinctively cover his ribs and Stryker blasts him with a falling Enzuigiri, slumping Edwards in the corner. Stryker rises to his feet and stomps at Edwards’ chest until the referee counts him off with a “ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR…!” prompting Brian to back up a bit… before he strides forward and uses his boot to shove Edwards’ face once… twice…

Geoff Penzer: Blatant disrespect by the “Captain”, Brian Stryker.

Stryker grins, laughing out into the booing audience before driving his boot square into Edwards’ chest for good measure before scraping it across his face a third time-- but this time Edwards grabs Stryker’s leg and twists it awkwardly, taking Stryker to the ground! Stryker cries out in agony as Edwards locks in the Knee Bar, but Stryker quickly pulls himself beneath the bottom rope!

Geoff Penzer: James Edwards won’t let go! He has to be careful or he’s gonna get himself disqualified and that’s exactly what Stryker would love!

The audience roars as Stryker hangs from the ring, flailing wildly, screaming for the ref to “GET HIM OFF!” as Edwards maintains a grip on the knee bar! The referee initiates a five-count! ”ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI--!” Edwards lets go at the last possible second, and rolls to a knee with a glare to the outside, allowing Stryker to fall to the floor outside, clutching his leg. The referee backs Edwards up as he continuously tries to exit the ring-- much to the annoyance of the LA crowd. Stryker pushes himself back into a seated position against the barricade, massaging his left knee while the referee begins a ten count.

“ONE!”

“FOUR!”

Geoff Penzer: ...and he’s off!

Edwards drops down and rolls out of the ring as Stryker begins to reach his feet. He rushes forward and blasts Stryker with a thrust kick, sending Stryker slumping over the barricade! The fans in the front row of the Staples Center roar as Edwards yanks Stryker back and nails him with a Back Suplex, dropping him spine-first across the barricade! Stryker stiffens from the pain, mouth open in silent agony before Edwards Irish Whips him into the steel steps! Stryker connects knees-first and flips over the steps, crying out in pain while the referee has no choice but to restart his ten-count!

“ONE!”

“TWO…!”

Edwards stalks the rising Stryker, nailing him with an elbow to the base of the neck, knocking him to his knees. He glares down at the former Flashpoint team captain and lifts him up by the waist of his tights, shooting a look over his shoulder at the steel steps

Geoff Penzer: Bad, bad intentions by James Edwards…

Edwards ignores the shouting of the ref and positions Stryker for a Back Suplex right into the steel steps…

Geoff Penzer: This won’t end well!

...but Stryker grabs the middle ring rope and pulls himself out of James’ grip and up onto the apron. James Edwards moves toward Stryker, but Stryker pulls himself up and nails a desperation mule kick that catches Edwards right in the nose at the ref’s count of five! Edwards falls back, over the steps and to the floor as Stryker flops between the ropes, into the ring, immediately yelling for the referee to “KEEP COUNTING!”

Geoff Penzer: A kick right to the face of James Edwards! Guys— Edwards might be out cold! Stryker’s more than happy with taking a countout victory. He knows how much that would get under the skin of James Edwards!

”...FIVE!”

“SIX!”

“SEVEN...!”

Stryker continues to shake the kinks out of his leg on the inside, cursing under his breath as Edwards begins to stir.

“...EIGHT!”

“NINE!”

A roar emanates from within the Staples Center as Edwards slides into the ring with less than a second to spare! Stryker slaps his leg before running toward Edwards, looking for another Spike Hurricanrana-- but Edwards grabs Stryker’s leg and seamlessly counters, flipping him into a Single Leg Crab! Stryker’s eyes widen and he flails, trying to reach for the bottom rope which is centimeters away-- but Edwards walks him to the center of the ring, sitting down deep in the Single Crab!

Geoff Edwards: Stryker went to the well again, and it cost him! Edwards has the Single Crab locked in on that left leg!

Chants of ”TAP!” echo throughout the Staples Center as Stryker buries his elbows into the canvas, trying to drag himself against the weight of Edwards. Edwards turns and delivers a hard stomp at the side of Stryker’s neck, but Stryker manages to catch Edwards’ foot! Stryker twists and rips at the boot, causing Edward to lose his footing and break the hold, landing on the canvas! Stryker quickly rises up, looking to lock in his own Single Leg Crab as boos rain down!

Geoff Penzer: Stryker with a counter into his own Single Leg Crab!

Stryker leans back into the Crab, but Edwards pushes himself up and flips through onto his back, using both feet to kick Stryker away! Both men groggily get to their feet and Edwards rushes forward, driving an elbow into Stryker’s jaw! Stryker reels and Edwards shoots the ropes, rebounding for a Dropkick to the knee— but Stryker jumps over him to avoid it! Stryker cries out in pain as he comes down on both feet and Edwards pops up, hitting Stryker with a German Suplex! He bridges into the cover and the ref drops down for the count!

Stryker rolls out of the bridge, rolling clear out of the ring between the bottom and middle ropes, falling to his side on the apron. Edwards climbs to his feet, looking around for Stryker before spotting him reaching his feet on the apron. Edwards scrambles upright and runs toward Stryker— but he’s caught with a rope-assisted Enzuigiri! Edwards slumps forward and Stryker grabs him by the head before leaping from the apron, choking Edwards across the top rope! Edwards’ head snaps back and he lands flat on his back while Stryker massages his own left leg on the outside, wincing in pain. He pulls himself onto the apron and rolls his eyes at the booing LA crowd before gingerly ascending to the top turnbuckle.

Geoff Penzer: Back and forth with Brian Stryker and James Edwards here! Every time Edwards gets some momentum, Stryker finds a way back in this, but his left leg is hurt. I’m not sure if going high risk is a good idea, but here we go!

Edwards stumbles to his feet with a hand to his throat… and Stryker leaps from the top for a Diving Cross Body!

Geoff Penzer: Cross B— no!

James Edwards rolls through, holding onto Stryker, shifting his weight before forcing him upright with a Suplex— dropping Stryker down roughly into a Brainbuster! The audience roars and Edwards hooks the far leg, grapevining the near one!

Edwards rises to his feet, leaning against the ropes for support as he seethes, glaring at Stryker, who pulls himself up in the center of the ring. Stryker grins up at Edwards and beckons him forward, mouthing something that the cameras and mics don’t quite catch. Edwards yells out in frustration and runs forward to blast Stryker with a soccer kick— but Stryker ducks and counters with a Schoolboy, hooking the tights!

Geoff Penzer: He has the tights! Ref!

Edwards pops out, rolling to his feet while Stryker still remains knelt… and Edwards rocks him with a stiff knee lift under the jaw! Stryker’s eyes roll into the back of his head from the shot. Edwards takes a step back-- and blasts Stryker with a Super Kick to the mouth, but he doesn’t go down… prompting Edwards to nail a second one! Stryker flops onto his back and Edwards stumbles to the corner before stepping out to the apron. He ascends to the top rope, remaining perched there for a moment as he observes the fallen former captain.

Geoff Penzer: James Edwards is thinking about going high risk now! It didn’t work so well for his opponent a few moments ago, and Stryker is halfway across the ring!

Edwards sails from the top, flying to the center of the ring to crash into Stryker with a Diving Headbutt! Stryker writhes from the impact and Edward rolls away, clutching at his head.

Geoff Penzer: Diving Headbutt! Edwards got a lot of hang time there, but at what cost?! He can’t capitalize and now both men are down!

Chants of “LET’S GO EDWARDS!” echo through the Staples Center as the ref checks on both men before beginning a ten-count, counting them both down.

“SIX!”

James Edwards pushes himself up first, but the crowd can see that he’s lacerated from his own headbutt, a crimson streak trickling down the center of his face.

Geoff Penzer: Jeez… Edwards is clearly feeling the effects of that Diving Headbutt. It might’ve taken just as much out of him as it did Stryker, who hasn’t moved. But now James Edwards is crawling, inching toward Stryker. If he can make a cover, he could put this away.

Edwards crawls over and finally drapes an arm over Stryker, but before the count of one, Stryker rolls onto his back. Edwards desperately crawls after him, but Stryker continues rolling away until he’s out of the ring, dropping down to the floor.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Geoff Penzer: Again, Brian Stryker escapes to the outside!

Stryker uses the ringside barrier to push himself up to his feet, but the crowd grows loud behind him. Stryker turns around in time to see the James Edwards shove past the referee and leap onto the top rope, sailing through the air for a Springboard Forearm to the outside--

Geoff Penzer: Edwards!

--only for Stryker to dive out of the way! Edwards smashes roughly into the barricade, but it doesn’t give! Edwards bounces to the ground with a sickening thud! Stryker leans against the apron, eyes wide at first before a grin spreads across his face.

Geoff Penzer: James Edwards crashed and burned! He put it all on the line and Stryker got out of harm’s way! And he’s loving it! Look at that sick, knowing smile on his face!

Stryker forces the dead weight of James Edwards upright and onto the apron before shoving him into the ring. Stryker scrambles in after him and hooks the far leg while the audience groans.

Brian Stryker hobbles up to a foot, telling the referee “watch this” before turning toward the ropes. Stryker leaps up to the second rope-- and then to the top with only his right leg, performing a Springboard Moonsault flush across the ribs of Edwards. Stryker laughs delightedly before hooking both legs for a deep cover, yelling for the ref to “COUNT!”

Geoff Penzer: Brian Stryker is going to have to dig REALLY deep to put away James Edwards tonight! A beautiful Springboard Moonsault after James nearly knocked himself out, not only with that Flying Headbutt, but with that missed springboard to the outside-- but James Edwards is still alive. He’s still in this and Brian Stryker is finally losing patience!

Stryker runs his hands through his hair before shaking his head and forcing James Edwards up by the arm-- before twisting it and blasting Edwards with a hook kick that catches him in the temple! The bloodied Edwards collapses to the mat and Stryker drops down, favoring his own left leg for a moment before throwing himself into the cover and hooking the far leg!

Edwards gags, stumbling to his feet while Stryker rises to his, stalking him from behind-- before locking in the Crossface Chickenwing!

Geoff Penzer: Edwards caught in a Chickenwing!

Edwards fights wildly, eventually delivering a mule kick to the left leg of Stryker! Stryker cries out in pain and Edwards throws a second kick back! Stryker slumps a bit, but cries out and delivers the Crossface Chickenwing Suplex, dumping Edwards on his head in the center of the ring! A collective gasp silences the audience-- but Edwards rolls head-over-heels, back up to his feet, yelling into the face of Stryker!

Geoff Penzer: My God!

Stryker looks at Edwards wide-eyed… before leaping into the air, delivering a thunderous Enzuigiri with the sound blasting through the arena like a gunshot! Edwards reels, turned completely around on his feet and Stryker staggers to his, hitting Edwards with a Leg-Hook Saito Suplex, driving him viciously to the canvas before rolling over him, hooking both legs for a deep cover!

Geoff Penzer: STRYKE 2! STRYKE 2!

The referee insists that his count was right and Stryker buries his face in his hands while the audience reaches a fever pitch around him. Stryker rubs his hands down his face and inhales deeply before rising to his feet, limping toward the turnbuckles. Stryker looks back at the rising James Edwards for a moment before glaring and climbing the turnbuckles, wincing through the pain of his left leg.

Geoff Penzer: Stryker’s looking to put it all on the line to hurt and humiliate James Edwards!

Stryker rises up on the top turnbuckle and leaps back for a picture-perfect Corkscrew Moonsault, but James ducks forward out of the way! Stryker lands on his feet, but cries out in agony, clutching his left knee! James shoots the ropes and comes back, smashing into Stryker with a headbutt!

CRACK!

Geoff Penzer: God, no! That sound!

Stryker sways before Edwards twists, nailing him with two consecutive Spinning Backfists-- the Double Tap! Stryker’s turned around from the maneuver, falling back into the arms of James Edwards, who hits a Half Nelson Suplex! He maintains a hold of Stryker and rolls to his feet before turning him around-- and nailing a Fisherman’s Buster!

Geoff Penzer: Foxfire! But he isn’t finished!

Edwards lifts Stryker up by his tights and forces him to his feet before yelling out and hitting him with a Release Reverse Exploder! Stryker bounces face-first off the canvas and onto his back, mouth open, eyes closed!

Geoff Penzer: Release Exploder! Stryker is down!

Edwards rolls into a cover, hooking both legs of Brian Stryker!

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, JAMES EDWARDS!

Edwards stares at Stryker, wiping blood off of his face with his free hand as “My Name is Human” plays over the PA.

Geoff Penzer: James Edwards has got to feel relief. This-- this must be cathartic. He assured Brian Stryker that this would happen, even after Stryker pushed him beyond his limits inside and outside of this ring! Look at Edwards-- he has absorbed an immense amount of punishment, but he walks away as the winner. Neither man is gonna forget this night though. Neither man.

The Burning Heart doesn’t have a single word for Stryker as he rolls out of the ring, walking up the ramp, jaw still clenched, glare still in tact as he leaves ringside. Stryker begins to stir in the ring, seemingly confused as to his whereabouts as the ref checks on him. We fade to black as Edwards pauses at the top of the ramp with one more look over his shoulder.

[FGA Office]

Amanda Johnson is seen backstage, looking around with a puzzled look on her face. She seems a bit lost in a portion of the arena that wasn’t really designated as interview space. It was mostly dark, with a couple security lights casting long shadows.

Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, my apologies…. I’m attempting to pin down my next interview subject ahead of their match here tonight and I can’t seem to…

Just then two bursts of scratchy ripping sounds above her and two sources of light purple iridescent light as if from road flares sparked into existence. The lights were held by a figure hanging upside down from a metal scaffolding by her ankles, the witch herself known as Salem. Amanda looked up in horror for a moment until she recognized Salem there, and Salem smiled and waved down. She called down to her.

Salem: Hello there. Welcome to the bowery I have made for myself tonight, consulting with the bats in the belfry...both real and imagined.

She released her ankles and did a forward flip mid-air, landing deftly on her feet poised not unlike a cat. She tossed the two flares down onto the concrete harmlessly, still basking her in a glow as she stepped forward to Amanda, as she raised her hands and flicked her fingers and made a twittering noise with her mouth imitating a bat.

Salem: You have questions for me, yes? Well you know which day it is. It is Witch Day. Like every other day, so rejoice. Ask away.

Amanda gathered herself, taking all this in and digesting it before continuing.

Amanda Johnson: Ah, yes, well here we are and the time draws near for the FGA United States Championship triple threat match. How do you feel? Are you ready?

Salem held out her arms and did a 360 turn spinning on her heel, looking resplendent in a shiny bedazzled wrestling attire. She had the purple chaos symbol painted over her left eye as she often did for big matches.

Salem: Mandy, I’m always ready. And even when I’m not I’m ready for what comes next. It seems like virtually every single step I’ve taken since coming back to FGA has led me to this moment in time. Sometimes the path grew dim and overgrown, and I had to hack my way through like a magical machete. The question on your lips should not be am I ready; no, the question should be are the champ and the other challenger ready for what I’m prepared to do tonight? Like another Canadian treasure Bachman Turner Overdrive once said… B-b-b-b-baby, you ain’t seen nothing yet. And how do I feel? It’s simply my DNA that makes me feel this way, my veins are pumping double time, my heart is full and I want to dish out arresting developments of a pure cardiac sheer heart attack nature to Savannah and BROOKFORD. I want the fans to feel what I feel, the high and lows when I climb the mountain and sink to the depths of the sea to achieve the goal: my hand raised and their heads bowed because they know they were a day late and a dollar short.

Amanda Johnson: BROOKFORD especially has felt he’s been screwed out of the title ever since January of this year, and by that right he sees he has the most claim to the US belt. What are your thoughts on that?

Salem smiled and brushed her hair back from her face.

Salem: My thoughts on that now are the same as my thoughts on it every other time it’s been brought up. He talks a lot about January. You know what wasn’t around in January? Me! He should’ve rectified the issue before I hit town, is the way I feel about it. Since I’ve been back I’ve beaten Savannah twice in non-title circumstances and what has BROOKFORD done? Oh yeah, he beat up some rookie and choked him out like that is supposed to impress me? Here’s the thing about claims… a lot of them are unfounded. I can claim to be a leprechaun, but I don’t wear a green suit, have a red beard, or find pots of gold at the end of the rainbow. So that doesn’t make any sense does it? BROOKFORD doesn’t walk like a champ, talk like a champ, or wear a gold belt like the champ either. And he’s not solving that problem at my expense, not if I have ANYTHING to say or do about it!

Amanda Johnson: And what do you have to say about Savannah Taylor thinking you are both beneath her? She is the champ, after all.

Salem: Well, when you are as tall as a giraffe and have your nose stuck up to the heavens like our “beloved” champ, most things are quite literally beneath her according to her smell test. Sadly, Toys R Us closed and we’ve already lost one giraffe this year. I’m going to beat the brakes off Savannah and give her a serious crick in her long ass neck. Penny for the swear jar. And then she won’t have to worry about me being beneath her. With the US Title firmly around my waist I will ride my broomstick out of L.A. above and beyond Savannah Taylor and BROOKFORD alike. And then the creatures of the night will rejoice Happy Witch Day! ‘Tis the Season….

The flares blinked out and Amanda was left rubbing her eyes adjusting to the darkness again, as Salem was gone.

The funky drum beat and riff of 'Phenomena' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs fills the arena and the quirky yet energetic Salem appears at the entrance wearing a hooded dark purple cloak with silver trim, the hood pulled over her eyes. She carries a silver cane, the top a silver claw gripping a dark purple crystal that has a plasma globe effect. She's tapping her foot and bopping her head to the beat...

She raises both hands and motions for the fans to get hyped, swinging the cane, then bops her way toward the ring in time with the song, popping her shoulders up and down, swaying her arms around with a coy smile and wink to the audience.

Melanie Sierra: Above & Beyond Six continues with the following Triple Threat Match! It is scheduled for one fall and it is for the FGA UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing the first challenger, from Laval, Quebec, Canada! She is “Something Like a Phenomena”... SALEM!

She steps up the ring steps, throws her hood back, clutches the top rope and puts her feet on the bottom rope, gazing around and rocking up and down on the ropes...

She slides through the ropes, twirls off her cloak with a flourish and drops to a knee in the center of the ring, extending her arms out holding up the cane and playing to the crowd as the music fades. She takes the cloak and cane to the corner, ready for the match.

Geoff Penzer: After being defeated by Savannah Taylor in the past, Salem returned to the FGA in a big way this year by defeated the United States Champion. With the help of Brookford, the unlikely team was able to beat Taylor in tag team action to secure a championship match here tonight. Salem knows what it’s like to hold FGA hold, having been a former Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion. She also knows what it’s like to be screwed out of that gold. Can The Witch once again hold FGA gold after tonight?

“I’m Bad" by LL Cool J plays as Nate BROOKFORD waste no time making his appearance known. He power walks down to the ring not bothering to savor the less than pleasant reaction from the crowd. He slides under the bottom rope, he pops up.

Melanie Sierra: Introducing her opponent, from Manhattan, New York! Weighing in at 265 pounds! He is the “Problem Solver”, BROOKFORD!

Opting to head over to the turnbuckle nearest the announce table, he leans back with his arms crossed. The ref checks Nate for any foreign objects as the man who wants to be referred to as BROOKFORD keeps his eyes locked on the entrance awaiting his prey for the night.

Geoff Penzer: Brookford has been claiming that he was screwed out of the United States Championship since Savannah Taylor won the title earlier this year. After having taken out Sage Clark, has put his role as a mercenary for hire on hold and has switched his focus back to his pursuit of the United States Title. Brookford is by far the biggest and strongest grappler in this match. He’s arguably the most dangerous. We have seen the degree of punishment this man can put dish out. Can Brookford go through the champion and his fellow challenger to become the new US Champion? We will found out here tonight.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see

One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

Inside me a light was turned on…

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

Then I was alive!

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Melanie Sierra: Introducing their opponent, Las Vegas, Nevada! She is the reigning, defending FGA United States Champion! She is the “Las Vegas Siren”, SAVANNAH TAYLOR!

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. Taking the championship belt from around her waist, she hands it to the referee. She then stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Geoff Penzer: Savannah Taylor walks into this match with two targets on her back. She also walks into this match at a huge disadvantage. This isn’t elimination rules. First fall to a finish wins. She can lose her championship without being pinned or submitted. The Chaotics faced a similar disadvantage earlier tonight and retained their championship. But at least they had a partner to watch their backs. Tonight, Taylor walks into this match alone. She’s virtually been alone here on Flashpoint since the dissolution of Heroes Never Die. Yet to her credit, she has become a two-time United States Champion. Her name is synonymous with that championship. She’s been in the ring with both of her challengers. She knows what they’re both capable of. But they also know what Taylor is capable of. When it looks like a loss is eminent, Taylor is able to come away with the win time and time again. Can the Las Vegas Siren pull out one more win here tonight?

The bell sounds as Taylor, Salem and BROOKFORD continue to look back and forth amongst each other as they slowly circle the ring. The circling comes to a stop when BROOKFORD looks over at the champion. Salem then turns to her left and locks her target on Taylor. The Las Vegas Siren begins to step back slowly as she switches back and forth between BROOKFORD and Salem.

Geoff Penzer: It looks like both challengers have decided to try and take out the champion to start off the match!

Taylor continues to back up until she stops. She then smirks as she turns to her right and looks over at Salem. Salem then looks and sees the Problem Solver making his way over towards her. BROOKFORD and Taylor comes from both directions until Taylor stops and looks over at BROOKFORD. The Witch turns her attention back to the Problem Solver as well. The crowd cheers when Salem and Taylor rush over and go to town on BROOKFORD with wild strikes.

Geoff Penzer: Taylor and Salem are going after Brookford!

BROOKFORD tries to cover up. But some of the clubbing strikes from both Taylor and Salem still connects. Once BROOKFORD’s had enough, he swats away some of the strikes, grabs Salem and shoves her down to the mat! He then doubles Taylor over with an open hand slap to the midsection before swatting her down with a clubbing strike to the back of the neck! BROOKFORD puts the boots to Taylor until Salem runs over and leaps onto his back. She attempts to put BROOKFORD in a sleeper. But the Problem Solver reaches up, grabs her by the hair with both hands and throws her down in front of him. He then reaches down, pulls Salem back up, runs into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Salem around, BROOKFORD whacks Salem across the chest with backhand chops. Once Salem targets to cover up, BROOKFORD follows up with a cross chop to the throat. A headbutt then sends Sale staggering over into the adjacent corner. The Problem Solver stays on her, turning her around and delivering corner elbows. He then takes Salem and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip. BROOKFORD comes barrelling across the ring to attack when Salem turns him around with a boot to the face. BROOKFORD staggers away from the corner when Taylor blasts him with a yakuza kick that turns him around! The Witch then runs into the ropes, comes back and connects with a Kitchen Sink that drops BROOKFORD down to a knee. Salem then runs into the far ropes. Geoff Penzer: There they go!

The cheers continue while Taylor and Salem keep trading blows. Champion and challenger exchange punches until Taylor rakes her across the eyes. The switch switch to boos when Taylor takes Salem and whips her into the corner. The Las Vegas Siren rushes in to attack when Salem knocks her back with a back elbow to the face. After stumbling back, Taylor runs back into the corner. This time, Salem knocks her back with a boot to the face. While Taylor is stunned, Salem runs out of the corner and throws out the New Hampshire Handshake (high velocity leaping elbow strike)! But Taylor ducks. When Salem lands on her feet, Taylor grabs her from behind, runs and tosses her through the ropes. After Salem lands on the apron, Taylor turns back around to attack. The Las Vegas Siren runs over and throws out the Ultimecia (spinning backfist) when Salem pulls down the top rope, sending Taylor flipping over the top rope and down to the floor! The Witch steps back in through the ropes before taking off into the far ropes. When Salem returns, the crowd cheers when she takes Taylor down with a slingshot plancha!

Geoff Penzer: Salem takes it to the air and takes out the champion!

Salem gets on top of Taylor and rains down right hands to the face. When Salem stands back up, BROOKFORD reaches over the top rope, grabs Salem by the hair and pulls her back up onto the apron. Salem fights back with back elbows to the face. Once BROOKFORD stumbles back, Salem runs along the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. She jumps off for a diving overhead chop. The cheers quickly switch to boos when BROOKFORD catches her in mid air and throws her down with a spinning side slam! He makes the cover.

BROOKFORD yanks up Salem and whacks her with a kesagiri chop that sends her staggering over towards the corner. BROOKFORD then marches over, turns Salem around and sends her slumping down in the corner with Mongolian Chops. From there, BROOKFORD delivers multiple hard facewashes before stepping back towards the center of the ring. The Problem Solver then runs forward before squashing Salem in the corner with a cannonball! The boos continue as he drags Salem away from the corner before making the cover.

He then takes Salem and whips her into the far ropes. When Salem returns, she goes to slide through BROOKFORD’s legs. But BROOKFORD reaches down and grabs her by the hair. After pulling Salem back up, BROOKFORD doubles over over with a hard knee to the midsection before throwing her down with a pumphandle powerslam! The boos continue as he makes the cover.

When she returns, she leaps up for a Thesz Press. But BROOKFORD catches her in mid air and counters with a sitout spinebuster! The ref slides into place for the cover.

So he yanks Taylor back to her feet before bashing her with another short-arm elbow smash! Once again, BROOKFORD keeps a hold of the wrist. So he pulls Taylor back up once more a throws out a third short-arm elbow smash. This time, Taylor ducks and counters with an Ultimecia to the back of the head! She then takes BROOKFORD and goes for an irish whip. But he reverses. When Taylor returns, she sees BROOKFORD setting up for a back body drop. So she stops and counters with The Gamble (corkscrew neckbreaker)! Taylor makes the cover.

The Witch then turns back to BROOKFORD and delivers a hard chest kick before blasting Taylor with another hard chest kick! While Taylor and BROOKFORD are still hurting from the kicks, Salem turns and heads into the far ropes. When Salem returns, BROOKFORD and Taylor throw out a double clothesline. But Salem ducks. When BROOKFORD turns around, he gets rocked with a roundhouse kick. Salem then throws out a roundhouse kick to Taylor. But Taylor wats the kick away before countering with a roundhouse kick of her own! She then doubles Salem over with a boot to the midsection before planting her with a DDT. When BROOKFORD gets back to his feet, Salem runs over to attack. The Problem Solver knocks her back with alternating palm strikes. He then steps back before throwing out a discus elbow smash. But Salem ducks. When BROOKFORD turns around, the crowd cheers when Salem connects with a Cactus Clothesline, sending them both over the top rope and to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Salem delivers a wild clothesline to Brookford that sends them both tumblr to the floor! Who will be the first to their feet?

Salem is back to her feet first after pulling herself up using the edge of the apron. She then climbs up onto the apron. Once BROOKFORD gets back to his feet, the crowd cheers when Salem runs along the apron before knocking him down with a penalty kick! When Salem turns back to face the ring, the cheers turn to boos when Taylor knocks her off the apron with a running hip strike!

The Las Vegas Siren steps out onto the apron and waves up her opponents. Once Salem and BROOKFORD get back to a vertical base, the boos continues when Taylor takes them both out with an Asai Moonsault!

Geoff Penzer: Now the champion takes it to the air and takes out both of her challengers! Can the Las Vegas Siren follow up?

Taylor takes Salem and whips her hard into the steep steps! The crowd boos when Salem crashes hard into them. She then takes BROOKFORD, slams him face-first onto the apron and shoves him back inside. The Champion rolls back in before making the cover.

Taylor takes BROOKFORD, heads into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After lighting up BROOKFORD’s chest with knife edge chops, Taylor takes the challenger and sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. She then runs across the ring to attack when BROOKFORD turns her around with a boot to the face. While Taylor is momentarily dazed, BROOKFORD latches onto her from behind and applies the LIGHTS OUT (half nelson choke)! Taylor immediately panics after being placed into the submission.

Geoff Penzer: Brookford has Lights Out applied!!! He could choke Taylor out right here!!!

BROOKFORD cinches in the hold as he tries to choke Taylor out. Due to Taylor’s positioning in the ring, she’s able to move backwards, moving BROOKFORD into the corner as well. She then reaches out with her free arm and hooks it around the top rope, forcing a rope break.

BROOKFORD reluctantly lets go. He then spins Taylor towards him before knocking her back with a palm strike. A second palm strikes knocks Taylor further back towards the center of the ring. After a boot to the midsection, BROOKFORD goes to follow up with a vertical suplex when Taylor slips down from behind. She quickly grabs BROOKFORD before bringing him down with Blonde Ambition (forward russian leg sweep)! She pushes BROOKFORD over and makes the cover.

As the champion kicks out, Salem keeps a hold of the leg and turns over into an ankle lock!

Salem gets on a knee and twists the ankle as the champion cringes. The ref asks Taylor if she wants to give up. When Taylor refuses, Salem gets to her feet and drags her towards the center of the ring. Taylor reaches out towards the ropes, but she’s nowhere near them. The ref once again asks her if she wants to give up. When Taylor refuses, Salem drops down to the mat before applying a grapevine while keeping the ankle lock applied.

Geoff Penzer: Now Salem’s really got Taylor trapped with nowhere to go! The Las Vegas Siren was just in control of this match. Then here came Salem to ruin everything for her!

Salem begins to crank away on the ankle while Taylor howls in pain. The Witch keeps the hold applied until BROOKFORD breaks up the submission with a jumping senton onto Salem! BROOKFORD pulls up Salem and delivers a series of trapping headbutts before throwing her down with a T-Bone Suplex! The boos continue as he marches back across the ring and picks up Taylor. He goes to lift up Taylor for a brainbuster when Taylor blocks the move. She then tries to lift up BROOKFORD for a brainbuster over her own, but it’s to no avail. BROOKFORD then lifts Taylor up. But on the way up, Taylor knees him in the head. Once Taylor is lowered back down, she blasts BROOKFORD with another Ultimecia! As Taylor turns back to Salem, the crowd cheers when Salem whacks her with a high impact spinning backfist! Taylor turns back to BROOKFORD, who whacks her with a spinning backfist of his own! Taylor turns back to Salem, who rocks her with another high impact spinning backfist! Taylor turns back to BROOKFORD, who clobbers her with a discus elbow smash! Salem then leans forward and tries to lift BROOKFORD up across her shoulder for a Ushigoroshi, which gets some gasps from members of the crowd! But it’s to no avail. BROOKFORD then follows up with multiple elbows to the head. He then lifts Salem up for a brainbuster. But Salem slips down from behind. When BROOKFORD turns around, Salem goes for a superkick feint into a rapid knee lift with the opposite leg! She then takes BROOKFORD, delivers an irish whip towards the corner, immediately follows behind him and connects with a corner high kick! While BROOKFORD is dazed, Salem steps to the side and delivers multiple hard chest kicks that send the Problem Solver slumping down in the corner. From there, The Witch nails BROOKFORD with alternating rapid fire elbow strikes! Salem pulls BROOKFORD back up before sending him into the far corner with an irish whip. The cheers continue as she then runs across the ring, connects with a corner space rolling elbow and follows up with a one-handed bulldog! As BROOKFORD slowly turns over onto his back, Salem gets back to her feet, turns away from BROOKFORD and goes for a standing moonsault senton. Salem tries to pry BROOKFORD’s legs from around her waist. But it’s to no avail. BROOKFORD cinches on the hold as he tries to choke Salem him. He’s got Salem right here he wants her. The ref asks Salem if she wants to give up. When Salem refuses, BROOKFORD squeezes even tighter.

Taylor picks up Salem and whips her into the near corner. She then takes BROOKFORD and whips him into the far corner. The Las Vegas Siren then runs over and blasts BROOKFORD with a yakuza kick in the corner! Taylor then turns around, runs across the ring and blasts Salem with a yakuza kick! After turning Salem around, Taylor lifts her up onto the middle ropes before stepping out onto the apron. Taylor climbs up the ropes, grabs Salem, flips back and brings her down with avalanche shiranui! The boos continue as she makes the cover.

When Salem gets up on a knee, Taylor leaps up for the Curb Stomp. But on the way down, the crowd cheers when Salem catches her across her shoulders and counters with a Ushigoroshi! Taylor rolls away with Salem and immediately grabs the back of her neck with both hands.

Salem pulls up Taylor and whips her over towards BROOKFORD, who comes out of the corner and turns Taylor inside out with a lariat takedown! When BROOKFORD turns over and tries to get up, Salem rushes over and pounces on him with driving knee strikes to the head and body. She then pushes BROOKFORD over for the cover.

Salem heads up the ramp admiring her new championship before raising it high in the air. Once Brookford comes to, he looks out at Salem and mumbles something to himself. Melanie Sierra: Above & Beyond Six continues with the following contest, scheduled for one fall! It is your main event of the evening and it is for the FGA INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

Cheers and applause come from the capacity crowd.

Geoff Penzer: Here we are ladies and gentlemen. This is it. The main event of Above & Beyond Six and it’s for the International heavyweight Championship! It doesn’t get any bigger than this.

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Multi-colored lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott steps through the curtain with outstretched arms to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, from Westwood, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 226 pounds! He is “The DNA of FGA”... CHANDLER SCOTT!

Chandler swaggers his way down to the ring and slaps hands with the fans along the way, he rolls himself into the ring as the lights come back on. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while Chandler poses with outstretched arms. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins tugging on the top rope as he waits for his opponent.

Geoff Penzer: Chandler Scott has come under fire lately from both Cherry Baum and Johnny Karma regarding his meeting with Brookford from a month ago. Karma is cautious after how vocal Brookford was in his disapproval of Karma being in this match. Karma then brought to light Scott’s past history as champion. Of course, it doesn’t help matters that Brookford is repeatedly offering his services to Scott while Mark Storm is walking around wishing him the best of luck. Is Scott telling the truth? If he on the up and up? Or are Karma and Cherry on to something?

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Johnny Karma, to the Frontier Wrestling Arts fanbase - at which point he walks out onto the ramp before coming to a halt and uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the fans, pausing to hold his arm in the air for a couple of seconds to signal his arrival

As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring

Melanie Sierra: His opponent, from Queens, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds! He is The Karmic Lion… JOHNNY KARMA!

As the pair reach ringside, Cherry quickly climbs onto the ring apron and sits on the middle rope to hold it open, as Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face the audience and slowly raising an arm before raising his index finger to let everyone know that he is #1, before he steps through the ropes into the ring.

Once inside the ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and holds his arms out wide to soak in the crowd's cheers

Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring and once again uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the crowd before raising his arm high above his head with those two fingers still extended, and he holds the pose for a few seconds.

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma has been the victim of multiple gang attacks over the last several years. So you can’t fault him for always being cautious, especially of those he’s had prior history with. Karma won the FGA Undisputed Championship this time last year before being screwed out of the championship by Evan Envi this past April at Only the Strong Survive. Envi then tried to screw Karma over even further by defecting to Vertigo and making the championship brand-exclusive. But Karma was able to fight his way back into the title picture to make it a Triple Threat Match at All-Star Showdown Seven. After Envi slithered away once again with the championship, Karma finds himself on the verge of another championship. Standing in his way is Chandler Scott, a man that Karma has had a large amongst of success against as of late. Will that success continue here tonight? Will Johnny Karma become the first International Heavyweight Champion?

The match starts with Karma and Scott in the center of the ring. The crowd is at a fever pitch as the two grapplers stare each other down. The two continue their intense staredown until Karma turns away from Scott and acknowledges the dueling chants of the crowd.

Geoff Penzer: I think it’s apparent who this capacity crowd is behind here tonight!

Karma turns back to Scott. Scott’s attention is caught by Cherry Baum, who can be seen slapping the apron and giving Karma words of encouragement. He then turns his attention back to Karma. Scott has words for Karma. But Karma doesn’t get into the back and forth. His time for talking is over. Scott then smirks as he steps back from Karma before circling the ring. The two continue to circle the ring before heading towards the center to lock up. After jockeying for position, Karma shoves Scott back, sending the FGAce stumbling back a few steps. Once Scott regains his balance, he circles Karma in the ring. He then slowly inches towards Karma before engaging into another collar-and-elbow. After jockeying for position, Karma takes Scott and moves his across the ring. After Karma presses Scott up against the ropes, the ref heads over and gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both grapplers make a clean break. Scott mouths off to Karma. But Karma doesn't back down and gets right in Scott’s face! The ref then gets his arm in between both grapplers and instructs Karma to step back towards the center of the ring. Once Karma is back in the center of the ring, Scott makes his way off the ropes. Both grapplers continue to circle the ring until Scott runs over and feints a kick at the bottom rope, causing Cherry to take a few quick steps back. Karma then motions over towards Cherry when Scott smirks and steps back. Karma now has words for Scott. But now it’s Scott that doesn’t give in. Instead, he just smirks at Karma.

Geoff Penzer: Some mind games being played here by Scott...

The two grapplers continue to circle the ring. Then then dart towards the center of the ring and clash with another collar-and-elbow. This time, it’s Scott that starts to move Karma back. Scott continues to move Karma back until Karma slows down and puts on the brakes. He then uuses his strength advantage to move Scott back across the ring. Karma continues to move Scott back over towards the corner. At the last second, Scott pivots and presses Karma up against the ropes. Karma then turns over over and presses Scott up against the turnbuckles. After a struggle, Scott turns and presses Karma against the turnbuckle. The two continue to tussle in the collar-and-elbow until the ref gives them until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR..

Both grapplers break the hold. Scott and Karma mouth off towards each other until Scott pushes Karma. Karma responds by shoving Scott down to the canvas. The crowd cheers.

Geoff Penzer: Karma put a little something behind that shove.

Scott scrambles back to his feet. He then marches over and piefaces Karma. Karma responds by slapping on a side headlock. Scott tries to shove him off. But Karma clamps down on the hold. He then tries to push up on Karma’s wrists and push Karma’s arm from around his neck. But Karma pulls the arm back down and cinches in the hold. Scott tries to shove Karma off. But again, it’s to no avail. Scott groans as Karma starts to wrench on the side headlock. The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. But Scott refuses by waving the ref away from them. After a few shots to the ribs, Scott finally shoves Karma off and sends him into the ropes. When Karma returns, he runs over Scott with a shoulder block. He then turns and runs into another set of ropes. When Karma returns, Scott rolls over into the prone position. Karma skips over him before continuing to run the ropes. When Karma returns, Scott gets to his feet and leapfrogs over him. Karma continues to run the ropes. When Karma returns, Scott goes for a hip toss. But Karma steps through it before throwing Scott down with a hip toss. Scott gets back up, only to get send back down with an arm drag. Once Scott gets back up, Karma reaches over and applies an arm wrench. Karma delivers a yank to the arm before delivering another arm wrench. Karma then delivers a clubbing strike across the arm before wrenching it a third time. Scott then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. But Karma quickly regains control with an immediate reversal into an arm wrench. Scott rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into another arm wrench. But once again, Karma quickly regains control with an immediate reversal into another arm wrench. Scott then reaches over with his free arm and grabs the top rope. He then yells at the ref while the ref gives Karma until the count of five to let go.

Geoff Penzer: Scott looks like he’s starting to get frustrated here. He hasn’t really been able to gain any traction thus far.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE…

Karma breaks the hold and steps back to the center of the ring. Scott narrows his eyes at Karma while he shakes his right arm. Scott then makes his way off the ropes while he rolls his right shoulder. Both men prepare for another lock up before marching to the center of the ring. Another collar-and elbow follows. This time, it’s Scott that gains the advantage with a side headlock. He then wrenches on the hold. Karma tries to shove Scott off. But Scott keeps the hold on. Karma then runs to the side, moving Scott into the ropes. Karma then takes Scott and tries to shove him off. But Scott just drops down to a knee while keeping the side headlock applied. He wrenches the hold, which causes Karma to groan. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. But The Battle Royal GOD refuses. After battling back to a vertical base, Karma tries to shove Scott of of him. Scott counters by throwing Karma down to the mat with a side headlock takeover. Karma then reverses into a legscissors. Scott then quickly escapes with a kip up. After Karma scrambles back to a vertical base, Scott slaps on another side headlock. This time, Karma slips out and reverses into a hammerlock from behind. The crowd cheers when Karma goes for Instant Karma (hammerlock spun into a DDT). But as soon as Karma catches Scott in a front facelock, Scott shoves Karma off of him and quickly steps away until he hits the ropes! Karma lets Scott know just how close he was by holding his index finger and thumb close together.

Geoff Penzer: He almost had him. Karma almost had him.

Scott and Karma circle the ring. They slowly circle each other and motion for a lock up when Scott opts out for a boot to the midsection! Some boos follow as he knocks Karma back with multiple right hands. Karma then counters the last right hand and answers back with multiple right hands of his own! He then takes Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma goes for a back body drop. But Scott slips down from behind. He sets up for a German Suplex when Karma counters with a back elbow to the face. After performing a standing switch, Karma lifts up Scott from behind and delivers a hammerlock belly to back suplex! He makes the cover.

Scott kicks out.

Karma pulls up Scott by the right arm and wrenches it again. After another arm wrench, Scott takes his free arm, presses up under Karma’s chin and moves him across the ring and into the ropes. The ref scurries over and gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

As soon as Karma lets go, Scott hits him with a European Uppercut! He then nails Karma with a second European Uppercut before going for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Scott towards the ropes. Scott then uses the momentum to knock Karma down with a springboard European Uppercut with the left arm! He makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Scott gets his first nearfall of the match. He was clearly getting frustrated by Karma in the early portion of this match.

Scott picks up Karma, marches over into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then turns Karma around and lights up his chest with knife edge chops. Scott then turns and says something to Baum. When he turns his attention back to Karma, Karma grabs him and tosses him into the corner. The crowd cheers when he delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. After sending Scott into the far corner with an irish whip, the crowd cheers when Karma charges across the ring and clobbers Scott with an NYC Uppercut (running European Uppercut)! He then takes Scott and sends him back into the opposite corner with an irish whip. The Frontier Wrestling Artist charges back across the ring and clobbers Scott with another NYC Uppercut! This time, Scott slumps down in the corner. After Karma steps back towards the center of the ring, he runs forward and motions for the Kodak Moment (rope-assisted corner dropkick) when Scott rolls to the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Scott wisely rolls to the outside.

Scott slowly circles the ring while he continuously checks his jaw. He then shakes out his right arm when he looks over and sees Cherry. The two narrow their eyes at each other before Scott turns and pulls himself up onto the apron. Scott is quickly hit with a shoulder thrust through the ropes from Karma. Karma then goes and brings him back inside with a vertical suplex! He turns over into a lateral press.

Scott kicks out.

Karma pulls up Scott, wrenches the arm and follows up with a short-arm shoulder block to the arm. Karma delivers a second short-arm shoulder block to the arm. Scott drops down to a knee. The ref gets down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. But he refuses. After Scott is pulled back to his feet, Karma delivers another arm wrench. Scott immediately follows with a punch to the face with his free hand! He then knocks Karma back with four more punches before going for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Scott into the corner. Karma runs in to attack when Scott knocks him back with a European Uppercut. While Karma is dazed, Scott steps out onto the apron. He goes to climb the turnbuckles when Karma darts over, runs up onto the middle ropes and blasts Scott with an NYC Uppercut, sending him tumbling down to the floor! The crowd cheers while Scott is sprawled out on the floor.

Geoff Penzer: Scott tried to take it to the air, but Karma had different plans and stopped that right before he could take off!

Karma heads over to the far ropes and waits for Scott. As Scott starts to pull himself up on the outside, Karma runs across the ring and goes for This is For The Front Row (baseball slide clothesline). But Scott ducks, grabs Karma and brings him down with an arm trap neckbreaker on the outside!

Geoff Penzer: Quick reversal there from Scott.

Scott slowly rolls himself back inside. Once he gets back up to his feet, he heads towards the center of the ring. Scott runs into the far ropes after looking back and seeing Karma starting to pick himself back up. When Scott returns, the crowd cheers when he leaps through the ropes and knocks Karma down with a suicide dive! Scott then mounts himself on top of Karma and rains down right hands to the face. Scott gets off of Karma before rolling back inside.

On the floor, Karma can be seen trying to shake out the cobwebs. Once he starts to pick himself back up, Scott turns and takes off into the far ropes. When Scott returns, he leaps through the ropes and knocks Karma backwards into the guardrail with another suicide dive!

Geoff Penzer: Scott takes it to the air again!

Scott turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, he goes for a third suicide dive when Karma runs forward, jumps up and counters with an NYC Uppercut, knocking Scott back into the ring.

Geoff Penzer: Karma made him pay for going to the well one too many times!

While Scott is still down, Karma climbs up onto the apron before going to climb the turnbuckle. As soon as Karma reaches the top, Scott dives over and yanks down on the top rope, causing Karma to slip and fall. Boos can be heard while Karma is crotched up on the top turnbuckle. After Scott pulls himself up using the ropes, he heads over and places Karma in a three quarter facelock. He takes a few steps away from the corner before dropping him with the Mass Spike (top rope hung cutter)! Scott then drags Karma away from the ropes before pulling him back to his feet. The crowd gasps, then cheers Scott pulls Karma into a front facelock and is about to lift him up for the DNA Driver (Bloody Sunday)! Karma then grabs his arm, rolls out, yanks Scott over towards him and follows up with a fireman’s carry takedown. Karma then delivers a rolling neck snap. He makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Karma was quick with that reversal! I don’t care how early in the match it was. If Scott hit that, it would have been over for Karma.

Karma picks up Scott, moves him into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then pulls Scott from out of the corner before sending him off into the far ropes. When Scott returns, Karma doubles him over with a punch to the midsection. Karma then applies an abdominal stretch before throwing Scott down with a full nelson slam!

Karma drops down and makes the cover.

Scott gets his shoulder up.

Karma pulls Scott back up, turns and brings him down with the Bum Trip (shoulder neckbreaker)! He then drags Scott into position before heading into the corner. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, Karma goes for a diving fist drop off the second rope when Scott lifts his leg up and catches him with a boot to the face on the way down! Scott takes takes Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Scott sends him flipping down to the canvas with a kitchen sink. When Karma sits back up, Scott follows up with a rolling neck snap. He makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Just like that, Scott is back in control.

Scott picks up Karma and delivers a snap suplex. He then rolls over into a lateral press for the cover.

Scott pulls up Karma and lifts him up for a Shotgun Stunner. When Karma lifts down from behind, he grabs Scott, runs and throws him shoulder-first into the corner! A loud thud can be heard when Scott’s shoulder collides with the ring post. The crowd “OOOOOOH”s upon hearing the impact.

Geoff Penzer: Karma just threw Scott shoulder-first into the ring post! I believe that is the same arm Karma went after at the start of the match!

As Scott stumbles back, Karma grabs him from behind, runs, jumps off the top rope and brings him down with Macho Karma (Karma grabs the opponent’s head, then vaults over the top rope to snap their throat against the rope)! As Scott stumbles back, Karma climbs back up onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks Scott down with a diving double axe handle smash! The cheers continue when he makes the cover.

Karma picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma knocks him down with a running high knee. He then circles Scott before delivering a stomp to the left wrist, left thigh, lift shin, right ankle and right kneecap. The cheers continue when he walks over and delivers repeated hard stomps across the right arm! Karma reaches down, pulls up Scott and throws him down with hammerlock scoot slam! Karma reaches down, pulls Scott back up and throws him down with a second hammerlock scoop slam! Karma then throws him down with a third hammerlock scoop slam for good measure! Scott clutches his arm, but Karma shows no mercy and connects with a jumping knee drop! He makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s going to work on that right arm now to set up both of his finish maneuvers!

Karma picks up Scott and rocks him with a rock hand that sends him stumbling backwards into the ropes. Karma heads over, grabs Scott and goes for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending Karma into the far ropes. When he returns, he sees Scott setting up for a back body drop. So Karma stops, grabs Scott and throws him down with Dynamite Karma (hammerlock suplex)! The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Karma throws Scott down again on that arm. But Scott’s able to get the good arm up to avoid the three.

Karma pulls up Scott and delivers an irish whip so hard that he falls down to the canvas. After Scott crashes sternum-first into the top turnbuckle, he stumbles backwards towards the center of the ring. The crowd cheers when Karma then grabs him from behind before planting him with Instant Karma! He makes the cover.

Scott gets his left shoulder up.

Karma picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma scoops him up from the side and delivers a backbreaker. Instead of letting Scott falls to the mat, Karma lifts him up from off his knee, heads over and chucks Scott through the ropes and to the outside with Get Out Of My Ring (Karma hits a backbreaker and keeps hold of his opponent before dumping them through the ropes to the floor)! When Scott starts to slowly pull himself up using the edge of the apron, Karma turns and takes off into the ropes. When Karma returns, the crowd cheers when he flattens Scott with This Is For The Front Row! Karma then pulls up Scott before rolling him back inside. He then climbs up onto the apron. As Karma steps his left leg back into the ring, the crowd gasps when Scott scrambles to his feet, grabs the leg and delivers a dragon screw leg whip against the ropes! Karma howls in pain as he falls to the apron.

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s down! Karma just went down after that hard dragon screw!

Scott rolls to the outside, grabs Karma by the left leg and drags him over into the corner. Scott then pulls the leg back before swinging it violently against the ring post! A loud thud can be heard when Karma’s leg smacks against the ring post. Scott takes the left leg, pulls it back and then swings it violently against the ring post a second time! He follows up with hammer fists to the knee. Scott then grabs a hold of Karma’s left knee pad and pulls it down to the ankle. He then pulls the left leg back once more before swinging it violently against the ring post! After the leg collides with the ring post, Karma scoots away from the corner before grabbing the leg.

Geoff Penzer: Scott is relentlessly going after Karma’s leg! Turnabout is fair play, I supposed.

While Karma holds the leg, Scott rolls back inside. He turns and sees Cherry slapping the apron to try and throw some support towards The Karmic Lion. Scott then walks over, stands right in front of Cherry and slowly raises his left arm and then slowly raise his index finger. Scott continues to mock Cherry with Karma’s signature pose while Cherry narrows her eyes at him.

Geoff Penzer: There’s no need for this. Scott needs to take his eyes off Cherry and put his eyes back on the wall! Taunting Cherry won’t win him that championship!

Scott then turns away and heads back cover towards Karma. As he goes to pull up Karma, the crowd explodes with cheers when Karma quickly pulls him down into a small package.

Geoff Penzer: Scott nearly got caught!

Both grapplers try and scramble back to their feet. Scott beats Karma to a vertical base and follows up with a shin breaker. While Karma hobbles on his left leg, Scott bounces against the ropes, returns and knocks him down from behind with a chop block! He then returns to his feet, lifts up the left leg and delivers an elbow drop to it. Scott gets back to his feet, lifts up the left leg and delivers a second elbow drop across it. Scott then delivers a third elbow drop for good measure! When Scott returns to his feet, he delivers a rolling leg snap! Karma immediately hugs the knee with both arms. Scott heads back over, pulls Karma back to his feet and lifts im up before dropping him with a Shotgun Stunner. While Karma is sprawled out on the mat, Scott turns and hits the ropes. When he returns, the crowd cheers when he nails Karma with a running knee drop (with mid-air gesture)! He then pulls Karma up to a seated position before running into another set of ropes. When Scott returns, the crowd cheers when he flattens Karma with a Sliding D! He makes the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up.

Scott grabs Karma and slowly pulls him up off the canvas… before quickly reaching down, grabbing a hold of the left leg and throwing Karma back down with a dragon screw leg whip! Scott keeps a hold of the leg before following up with a grounding dragon screw leg whip in the opposite direction! Karma howls in pain while he clutches the knee. Scott pulls up Karma, scoops him up and brings him down with a rib breaker. He makes the lateral press.

Scott then pulls him up by the arm, then hooks both arms before pulling him over towards the corner. Scott scans the crowd before delivering a double underhook suplex into the turnbuckles! He then pulls Karma back up, grabs him around the waist and delivers a snap gutwrench suplex! He makes the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up.

Scott pulls up Karma and delivers another shin breaker. While Karma hobbles on the bad leg, Scott turns and bounces against the ropes. When Scott returns, he kicks Karma’s leg out from under him! He then lifts up the left leg before turning Karma over into a single leg crab! The ref gets down and asks Karma if he wants to give up. When Karma refuses, Scott pulls back on the hold.

Geoff Penzer: Scott went after Karma’s leg over and over. Now he’s really trying to wear him down with the single leg crab.

Karma howls in pain while Scott continues to keep the hold applied. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. Once again, Karma refuses. Cherry can be seen on the outside slapping the apron as she gives Karma some words of encouragement. Scott keeps the hold applied before slowly leaning back even further! Karma has a look on anguish on his face as he remains trapped in the hold. Karma tries to fight through the pain as the submission continues to be applied. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. When Karma refuses, applause can be heard when Scott transitions into an STF! Karma groans when Scott pulls back on his face. He reaches out with his arm. But he’s nowhere near the ropes. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. But once again, Karma refuses. So Scott begins to pull back on his face. Cherry can be seen walking down ringside. After rounding the ring post, she goes over and stands directly in Karma’s line of sight. Cherry begins waving her arm to try and will Karma towards the ropes. Karma once again reaches out for the ropes. But he’s still nowhere near them. Karma then begins to slowly pull himself forward. Karma reaches out for the ropes, but he’s still not there. The Karmic Lion groans as he struggles to carry Scott’s weight on his back while pulling himself across the canvas. Scott shakes his head ‘no’ while Karma continues to scratch and claw towards the side of the ring. Scott hangs on and tries to repeatedly yank back on Karma’s face. It slows The Karmic One down, but only momentarily. Cherry begins slapping away on the apron to try and get the crowd to rally behind Karma. The former Undisputed Champion begins to feed off the energy of the crowd and continues to pull himself forward. Karma reaches out. The crowd gasps… then cheers when Karma grabs a hold of the bottom rope, forcing a rope break. The capacity crowd applauds Karma’s effort.

Ref: ONE… TW-

A frustrated Scott breaks the hold. Once he gets to his feet, he drags Karma back towards the center of the ring and applies a figure four leg lock!

Geoff Penzer: Scott’s not done yet! Figure four leg lock applied!

Karma cringes while he’s trapped in the submission hold. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. But Karma refuses. While Scott tries to fight for the submission, Karma turns over and reaches out towards the ropes. The fans in the first row all reach their arms out as if to create a connection with The Karmic Lion. The capacity crowd here in Los Angeles tries to will Karma towards the ropes. Scott continues to fight for the submission. Karma then starts to turn over to his left when Scott counters by turning back to his right. Karma then turns to his right when Scott counters by turning back to his left. When Karma rests his shoulders on the mat, the ref starts to count the pin.

Karma gets his shoulder up off the mat.

Karma looks over at Cherry, who is trying her best to get the crowd to rally behind Karma once again. Karma then turns to his left, then his right, then back to his left. The cheers grow louder as Karma’s waving his arm over repeatedly. Scott shakes his head ‘no’ as he tries his best to stop the reverse. But it’s to no avail. Karma then turns over onto his stomach and reverse the figure four into a modified indian deathlock! The cheers continue as Scott howls in pain!

Geoff Penzer: The tables have turned on Scott! Karma has reversed the figure four!

The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. Scott refuses before breaking the hold. Once both grapplers return to their feet, Scott doubles Karma over with a kick to the midsection. After a hard European Uppercut knocks Karma back, Scott grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Scott into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma knocks him down with a European Uppercut! He makes the cover.

Karma picks up Scott, lifts him up and throws him down across the top rope with a front suplex. While Scott hangs across the top rope, Karma places him a headlock. He then takes a few steps away from the ropes before driving Scott down face-first with Sweet Emotion (rope-hung bulldog)! The cheers continue as he turns Scott over and makes the cover.

Karma picks up Scott, moves him into the corner and delivers a series of blistering knife edge chops. He then sends Scott into the far corner with an irish whip. Karma reaches down and massages his left knees before running as best as he can across the ring. Karma goes to follow up with an attack when Scott counters with a back elbow. A stiff European Uppercut knocks Karma back towards the center of the ring. The crowd cheers when Scott runs out of the corner before bringing Karma down with a Sling Blade! He makes the cover.

Scott picks up Karma and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Scott into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma goes for a back body drop. Scott then slips down from behind before immediately following up with a reverse Sling Blade! While Karma is down on the mat, Scott heads out onto the apron. The FGAce makes his way along the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle. He then crouches down as he waits for Karma to get into position. Once Karma slowly picks himself up off the mat, Scott stands up on the top turnbuckle. When Karma turns around, Scott leaps off for the Frog Splash Crossbody. The crowd cheers when Karma counters with a dropkick in mid air! Scott immediately curls up while he clutches his ribs.

Geoff Penzer: Karma had enough strength in his legs and cunter with a dropkick when he needed it most!

Scott slowly turns over on all fours. Once he gets back to his feet, Karma lifts him up off his feet, marches forward and rams him back-first into the corner. Karma unleashes a series of deep shoulder thrusts to the ribs that nearly knock the wind out of Scott. Karma then brings a hunched over Scott from out of the corner before shooting him off into the far ropes. When Scott returns, the crowd cheers when Karma swats him down with Gimme Shelter (pop-up lariat)! While Scott is sprawled out on the apron, Karma steps out onto the apron. He slowly walks along the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. Once Karma gets to the top turnbuckle, he points up to the stars above. Karma leaps off the top turnbuckle and goes for From The Stars Above (flying elbow drop) when Scott rolls out of the way! Gasps can be heard when Karma crashes onto the canvas!

Geoff Penzer: Nobody was home!

Scott pulls up Karma and rocks him with a European Uppercut. He then takes Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott knocks him down with a Pinpoint Dropkick to the face!

Geoff Penzer: What a dropkick from Scott!

While Karma is sprawled out on the mat, Scott hops out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. Scott can be seen waving up Karma while waiting impatiently. Once Karma gets back to his feet and turns around, Scott stands up, leaps off and goes for the Frog Splash Crossbody! The crowd explodes with cheers when Karma counters with a snap scoop powerslam! The ref slides into place for the cover.

Cheers can be heard when Scott gets his shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: Karma with a well-time countered. It only gets two. But that counters keeps him in this match and his title hopes alive.

Karma picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma goes for another back body drop. Once again, Scott is able to slip down from behind. After Scott applies a waist lock from behind, Karma runs forward as best he can, wraps his arms around the top rope and yanks back, sending Scott falling off his back and down to the floor. After Scott rolls back up to his feet, he runs over to attack when Karma comes off the ropes and clobbers with Check Your Chiclets (superkick) to an explosion of cheers! Spittel flies out of Scott’s mouth before he crumbles to the mat! After Karma drops to a knee, he slowly picks hismelf back up before staggering over into the ropes. He then steps out onto the apron, walks along the apron and goes to climb the turnbuckles.

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s going back to the top once again...

Once Karma gets one foot on the top turnbuckle, Scott rushes in out of nowhere, runs up to the top turnbuckle and grabs Karma. The crowd gasps, then cheers when Scott lifts up Karma and brings him crashing down to the canvas with a superplex! Scott then rolls through it, pulls Karma back to his feet, lifts him up and throws him down with a Falcon Arrow to an explosion of cheers!!! The ref slides into place for the count.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: NEW CHAM-NO! NO! He got his shoulder up! He got the shoulder up! How resilient is Johnny Karma!?

Scott steps out onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Karma can be seen turning over on all fours. He slowly gets up on one foot, then back to a vertical base. Once Karma turns around, the crowd gasps, then cheers when Scott leaps off and finally knocks him down with the Frog Splash Crossbody!

Geoff Penzer: HE GOT IT! HE GOT IT! COULD THIS BE IT RIGHT HERE!?

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: KARMA GOT HIS SHOULDER UP AGAIN! I DON’T KNOW HOW HE’S DOING IT, BUT HE’S DIGGING DEEP!

Scott picks up Karma, rushes into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then slams Karma’s face into the top turnbuckle again… and again… and again… and again… and again! After turning Karma around, Scott unleashes a hard European Uppercut that clobbers Karma and sends him slumping down in the corner! Scott reaches down and pulls Karma back to his feet before climbing up onto the middle ropes. He then begins to rain down punches while the crowd counts.

Karma grabs Scott, heads out of the corner and doubles him over with an inverted atomic drop! The crowd gasps then Karma pulls Scott into a standing headscissors to set up Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up (jumping piledriver). But before Karma can lift Scott upside down, Scott counters with a standing double leg takedown. The crowd gasps and cheers when Scott steps through Karma’s legs and crosses them. Scott’s about to turn him over into the Scott Lock (Scorpion Death Lock) when Karma uses the strength he has left in his legs to shove Scott back, knocking him into the official!

Geoff Penzer: OH NO!

The back of Scott’s head smacks the referee in the face, dropping him to the mat. Both grapplers and the referee are now down.

Cherry can be seen on the outside slapping the apron with both hands. Back inside, Karma is the first to his feet. He takes Scott and goes for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending Karma into the ropes. When Karma returns, Scott sends him flipping down to the mat with another kitchen sink. He then reaches down, pulls up Karma, lifts him up and delivers CRS-Two (End of Heartache). Karma bounces off of Scott’s knees before rolling across the ring. While Karma is down, Scott looks over before slowly rolling to the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s down. So why is Scott rolling out of the ring? What’s going on here?

Scott turns and makes his way over towards Melanie Sierra. He points away with his thumb, motioning for the ring announcer to get up from her seat. Once she does so, the crowd boos when Scott reaches down and swipes up the chair before closing it shut.

Geoff Penzer: Oh no...

Cherry narrows her eyes before yelling at Scott. But Scott ignores her while he keeps his eyes set of Karma while walking up the steps. The boos continue while Scott steps in through the ropes with the chair.

Geoff Penzer: No. No. Come on, Scott! You’re better than this!

Karma tries to get back to his feet, but eventually drops back down to a knee. Scott slowly makes his way around Karma with the chair. While a hurt Karma slowly looks up at Scott, Scott looks down at the chair, then back to Karma. The crowd gasps and boos when Scott raises the chair high above his head.

Geoff Penzer: NO NO NO NO….

Scott rears his arms back and is about to clobber Karma with the chair. Scott slowly turns back to look at the chair. He begins shaking his head as he lowers the chair. Scott can be heard saying “not like this…”

Geoff Penzer: ...

Scott turns away from Karma, takes the chair and tosses it out of the ring. Cheers from the capacity crowd soon follow.

Geoff Penzer: Scott thought better of it. He was going to take the easy way out. He was going to take the cheap way. But he though bette-

Scott makes his way back over towards Karma. As Scott slowly pulls Karma up off the match, Karma pulls him down with a small package.

Geoff Penzer: KARMA WITH THE SMALL PACKAGE!

Scott kicks out.

After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, Karma hits Scott with three left jabs before socking him with a right hook that drops him to the mat!

Geoff Penzer: SUGAR RAY KARMA!

Scott returns to his feet, only to get dropped with another right hook. Once Scott gets back to his feet, Karma goes for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending Karma into the ropes. When Karma returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott turns him inside out with another Pinpoint Dropkick! He then takes Karma and whips him into the corner. Scott runs across the ring and blasts Karma with another European Uppercut! He then takes Karma and sends him into the far corner with another irish whip. Scott runs out of the corner, leaps from the center of the ring and clobbers Karma with a flying corner elbow smash! He then hoists Karma up into a seated position on the top turnbuckle. After Scott turns away from Karma and places him in a three quarter facelock, he takes a few steps away from the corner. Just as Scott’s about to go for the Mass Spike, Karma unhooks his legs. The crowd gasps when Karma grabs him from behind and throws out Hard Times (wrist lock transitioning into a Bionic Elbow)! But Scott ducks. When Karma turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott flattens him with a discus Roaring Hammer (Polish Hammer)!

Geoff Penzer: ROARING HAMMER! ROARING HAMMER FROM CHANDLER SCOTT! THAT’S ALL SHE WROTE!

Scott drops down and makes the cover.

Scott pulls up Karma. He lifts Karma up for another Shotgun Stunner. Karma then slips down from behind, grabs Scott and rolls him out in front of him with a ripcord. The crowd gasps when Karma throws out a second Hard Times! But once again, Scott ducks and heads into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma lfts him up, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster! While Scott is sprawled out on the mat, Karma steps out onto the apron and begins to scale to the top turnbuckle. Once Karma reaches the top, the crowd cheers as he leaps off and crashes down across Scott with From The Stars Above!

Geoff Penzer: KARMA CONNECTS!

Karma gets up and staggers over into the turnbuckles. He looks back over and begins to wave up Scott. Scott can be seen clutching his chest as he slowly turns over. Scott continues to try and pick himself up off the mat. Once Scott finally gets to his feet and turns around, Karma heads out of the corner and blasts him with Check Your Chiclets. The cheers continue as Scott appears to be out on his feet. Karma quickly doubles him over with a kick to the midsection and lifts him upside down. The crowd explodes with cheers when he plants him with Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up! The cheers continue as Karma turns over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: THERE IT IS! IT’S OVER! IT’S OVER! IT’S OVER!

Karma throws Scott down with a scoop slam before heading back out onto the apron. He scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and crashes on top of Scott with another From The Stars Above! Karma gets to his feet, steps out onto the apron, climbs back to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and lands on Scott with a third From The Stars Above! He gets back to his feet, steps out onto the apron, climbs to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and drops right across Scott’s chest with a fourth From The Stars Above!

Karma picks himself back up before stepping out onto the apron. He scales to the top turnbuckle and leaps off for yet another From The Stars Above! The crowd gasps when Scott rolls out of the way, causing Karma to crash onto the mat!

Geoff Penzer: KARMA CRASHES TO THE CANVAS! SCOTT MOVED OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME!

Scott quickly pulls up Karma and pulls him into a front facelock. After hooking the arm, Scott hoists up Karma before planting him with the DNA Driver to an explosion of cheers from the capacity crowd!!! He turns over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: DNA DRIVER! WE’VE GOT A NEW CHAMPION!

Geoff Penzer: KARMA GOT HIS SHOULDER UP AGAIN! HE GOT THE SHOULDER UP!

Scott can’t believe it. He holds up three fingers, but the ref shakes him off. Scott then slaps the canvas three times before looking back the ref. But the ref confirms that it was indeed only a two count. Scott does a double take when he turns and sees Cherry holding two fingers up at him!

Scott gets back to his feet. He starts to pace back and forth with his hands on his hips while Karma starts to stir on the mat. Scott makes a beeline over to Karma and yanks him off the mat. The crowd gasps when Scott pulls him into another front facelock. Before Scott can lift Karma up, Karma grabs him by the arm, rolls out and throws out a short-arm clothesline. But Scott ducks. When Karma turns around, Scott lifts him up across his shoulders for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! Karma then counters with multiple elbows to the side of the head. Once Karma slips down from behind, he rolls Scott out in front of him before knocking him down with hard Times to an explosion of cheers from the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: HARD TIMES! HARD TIME!! HARD TIMES!!!

Scott falls down while Karma crumbles to the mat… with a hold of Scott’s wrist! Once Karma turns over onto his knee, he reaches over, grabs Scott by the head with his free hand and slowly pulls him up off the mat. Karma rears his free arm back before pulling Scott over towards him and blasting him with a short-arm Bionic Elbow to the face! Scott drops to the mat while Karma collapses to down to all fours. Once again, Karma keeps a death grip of Scott’s wrist. The capacity crowd here in Staples Center is at a fever pitch. Scott is still down on the mat while Karma is sucking wind. The cheers get even louder when The Karmic Lion looks around and observes the crowd. Cherry can be seen slapping away on the apron. After Karma gets back to a vertical base, he grabs Scott’s wrist with his other hand and slowly pulls him up off the mat. He reaches over, grabs Scott with his free hand and pulls him up off the mat. The crowd explodes with cheers when Karma turns Scott inside out with Hard Times! He slowly pushes Scott over onto his back before making the cover.

Geoff Penzer: WHAT IN THE HELL!?

Cherry puts her hands on top of her head in disbelief. Karma does a double take when he looks at the ref. He holds up three fingers. When the ref holds two fingers back at him, Karma falls onto his back and covers his face in shock.

Geoff Penzer: I DON’T BELIEVE IT AND NEITHER CAN KARMA!

The capacity crowd is at a fever pitch. Karma snaps out on it. While Scott is still down, Karma pulls himself back up. He then drags Scott into position before stepping out onto the apron. He goes to climb the turnbuckles. Once Karma gets to the top, Scott rushes over and pushes Karma’s legs out from under him. After Karma slips and ends up crotched on the top turnbuckle again, Scott climbs the ropes. Once he gets to the top, the crowd gasps, when he pulls Karma into a front facelock.

Geoff Penzer: NO, HE WOULDN’T...

Scott nods his head. He then hooks Karma’s arm, jumps off as he lifts Karma up… and plants him with a DNA Driver from off the top turnbuckle!

Geoff Penzer: YES HE WOULD! DNA DRIVER OFF THE TOP! THAT’S GOTTA BE IT! THAT’S GOTTA BE!

Scott slowly turns over and drapes his arm across Karma’s chest for the cover.

The crowd gasps, then explodes with cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up. Cheers and applause soon follow.

Geoff Penzer: HOW!? HOW!?!?!?!?

When the ref confirms that it was only a two count, Scott slaps the canvas out of frustration. The capacity crowd is still at a fever pitch when Scott pulls Karma off the apron and whips him hard into the corner. After Karma crashes sternum-first into the top turnbuckle, he stumbles away from the corner. Scott then connects with a Pinpoint Dropkick to the back of the head, sending Karma staggering back over into the corner! He then runs over, jumps and nails Karma in the back of the neck with another flying corner elbow smash! Scott lifts up Karma before sitting him down on the top turnbuckle facing away from the ring. The crowd gasps, then cheers when Scott takes Karma and lifts him across his shoulders. Scott walks over towards the center of the ring before dropping Karma right on his head with the Burning Hammer! He rolls Karma over before making the cover.

The crowd explodes with cheers when “Animal Ghosts” blasts over the PA!

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and now, the NEEEEEWWWWWWW FGA International Heavyweight Champion, CHANDLER SCOTT!

An exhausted Scott turns over and lays on the canvas.

Geoff Penzer: Chandler Scott has done it! He has defeated Johnny Karma here tonight!

The ref gets down and raised Scott’s arm. When the ref lets go, Scott’s arm drops to the canvas. Scott continues to lay on his back before he slowly turns over on all fours. With the help of the referee, Scott is able to get back to a vertical base. The crowd cheers when Scott gets his arm raised in the air.

Geoff Penzer: Chandler Scott has defeated Johnny Karma to become the new International Heavyweight Champion! What a match we just witnessed here, ladies and gentlemen! Unbelievable!

The referee hands Scott the FGA International Heavyweight Championship. Scott cradles the championship in his arms before kissing the center plate. He heads over towards the rope, climbs up onto the middle ropes and raises the championship in the air. Scott climbs down and heads into the corner. He then climbs up onto the middle turnbuckle and raises the championship belt with both hands. Cheers and applause are heard from this capacity crowd. Not just for Scott, but for Scott and Karma.
