ASHLEY SULLIVAN

Geoff Penzer:  WHAT?!

The collective voice of the fans changes from counting down with the timer to an eruption of cheers at the mere sight of the name on the screen, something fans of never thought they would see in FGA again after so long of a time.  The guitar riff from the song “Warrior” by Skarlett Riot begins to play as the name fades out.  The roar of the fans in the arena only grows even louder as the former tag team champion slips out from behind the black curtain and walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand.

Geoff Penzer:  Fans.  It’s not often that I can say that I’m shocked with what I see go on in wrestling, but this really takes it.  It’s been almost three years since Miss Sullivan left FGA and there’s never been any indication that she would ever come back.

Sullivan stands and waits atop the ramp for a moment as she takes it all in, allowing the fans to recover from their initial reaction to her return as her entrance music fades out.

Ashley Sullivan: FGA… I’m baaaaaaaaack. Did you miss me?

The crowd cheers in response to her rhetorical question before she presses them for me.

Ashley Sullivan: Did I just walk into a library here.  You’re not god damn loud enough.  I said did you miss me?!

Geoff Penzer:  I’m obviously not the only one to see the former tag team champion here at Grapple Kingdom 2 tonight.

The fans erupt with cheers louder this time, bringing a smile to her face as she saunters along the stage.  A chant of “holy shit” eventually breaks out after a couple seconds.

Ashley Sullivan: Oh yeah, this is some righteous crap indeed here tonight.  Let me tell you something FGA.  Almost three years ago, I left here because I felt like it was something I needed to do.  I needed to go home, where I started and find that sweet spot.  I felt like I needed to do that if I was ever going to grow at all.  I needed to find what was missing and finally find that puzzle piece that would make me more than just a pretty face, more than just a tag team specialist.  And I got it.  The past couple years have been a renaissance period of my career, I found that missing piece and it all just came together.

Walking along the stage, Ashley pauses for a moment on the stage.  She holds a finger up with a point she wants to emphasize.

Ashley Sullivan: And during that time, when I could feel myself growing as a competitor, building my skills in the place where it all started for me, I would always look back to FGA.  I always had an eye giving this company sideways glances.  I would watch and tell myself “not yet”.  The time wasn’t right at the moment or this wasn’t in place or I knew I needed to finish perfecting something before I would even think about coming back into an arena where FGA was having a show.  I had unfinished business here and if I was going to finally make things right with that chapter of my career, I was damn sure going to make it count.  And believe me when I say this, NOW is the time.

The fans cheer again, her statement meaning only one possible thing… that she had finally decided to come back to FGA.  Ashley looks away for a few seconds as if she were thinking of something.

Ashley Sullivan: But why now?  What would make this point in time just SO special.  This time doesn’t come around very often, and now the stars are finally aligned and FGA is finally having the second coming that’s been years in the making.  And it just so happens that all of those stars are pure gold.  The Gold Rush Rumble is right around the corner and, as approved by my new Flashpoint boss lady Hadley Herrera, I am the FIRST person to throw my name in to be a part of the Gold Rush Rumble.

The fans erupt in cheering again at the announcing that the newcomer is already involved in the match with such huge implications.

Ashley Sullivan: And I have quite a bit of experience in winning a match like this and just how far I’ll push myself whenever I’m in one.  It’s every man… and woman for themselves when that bell rings and I’ve already proven I can do more than just have a decent showing, I can win the whole damn thing.

Turning around to face the entrance curtain, Ashley points directly at it with an accusatory finger.

Ashley Sullivan: So I dare each and every person on the Flashpoint and Vertigo rosters, some of you I don’t know, some of you I’m really damn familiar with, some from here before while some from elsewhere, someone that’s coming out of the blue just like I am tonight, come into the Rumble and give me your best shot because I don’t want there to be any excuses at the end of it all and I’m the only one left in that ring.

Geoff Penzer:  Ladies and gentleman, Ashley Sullivan is back in FGA and on her way to Flashpoint.  As if that was a big enough of a bombshell, she’s the first to be on her way to the Gold Rush Rumble and everyone else on both rosters would be wise to take notice.

Ashley turns back to the fans and holds her arms spread out while her music begins to play again.  Posing confidently, she walks backwards through the curtain.

[FGA Office]

The scene from the pre taped interview opens up inside a small studio. Amanda Johnson, who is sitting on a couch, looks directly into the camera with a welcoming smile on her face for the audience.

Amanda Johnson: Hello. My name is Amanda Johnson. Sitting in front of my today is a man who the center of controversy here in Frontier Grappling Arts. Nathaniel Brookford.

The camera now pans on BROOKFORD sitting on a couch. He is dressed to impress with a black three piece double breasted suit. He scoffs at Amanda’s introduction.

BROOKFORD: First off Amanda... don’t ever use my first name again. It’s BROOKFORD. My friends call me Nate. Last I checked, we’re not friends.

Amanda sighs giving the impression this is going to be a very tense interview.

Amanda Johnson:  I’m not delusioned to the nature of the business. Sage Clark is a nineteen year old kid fresh out of wrestling school. You’re a grown man. Was it really necessary to put the kid in the hospital?

BROOKFORD: Let me think about it... yes. It was.

Amanda Johnson: Over a championship opportunity? Seriously?!

BROOKFORD: Not that simple. It’s part of it.

Amanda Johnson: Explain. What could possibly justify potentially ending the career of a nineteen year old kid.

BROOKFORD: I don’t owe you a damn explanation. Since I’m here. I got nothing else better to do, sure, lets start from the stop.

BROOKFORD: I wasn’t happy working for my former employer. Instead of bitching, moaning, complaining, I did what any respectful person would do, go someplace else. FGA pays me good. I punch in my clock, kick ass, leave. Simple enough. But I also signed up to this place to make a little extra money on the side. Solving problems is what I do. One person knew the value I offer... a person I am choosing to keep nameless for now called me. This person wanted me to pepper Sage Clark up a bit. I was offered a lump some of money to do the job. Fine. Money talks. To be frank, Amanda, if someone paid me enough money, I’d snap your neck.

Brookford offers a smirk. Amanda rolls her eyes.

BROOKFORD: Cash rules everything. I don’t care whether you are a man or a woman. No one is off limits. My client put in their claim way before the United States Championship tournament became a thing. When it did, I was looking forward to a championship bonus. Sage, for God knows what lame reason, decided to get involved in my business.

BROOKFORD: Now Sage if you're listening... originally, this was business. I was gonna snuff you out eventually. What you did by robbing me of a chance to defend the United States Championship tonight is make it personal. NO ONE GETS IN THE WAY OF MY PAY DAY.... no one. You did. You cost me a chance to defend the title tonight. You cost me a chance to go home to my girlfriend, show off a shiny gold belt. Who knows, some of my ejactulate might have gotten on the title. Who knows.

Amanda Johnson: You’re disgusting.

Amanda looks like she can’t stand being in the same room with BROOKFORD a minute longer. BROOKFORD ignores the contempt she has for him.

BROOKFORD: Simon Lyman was right about one thing on Twitter, I don’t care about the United States Championship, all that title represents to me is a payday, nothing more, nothing less. Speaking of pay days, isn’t there a Gold Rush Rumble coming up? That is the type of match where a man of my distinguished talent would be greatly appreciated. In a match like that, the man or woman who wants to be the last one standing would have an easier road if his or her rivals were dealt with in a suitable fashion. I plan to enter the match. I could win. I could reach for the ultimate payday down the line. Why settle for winning when there are wrestlers on both Flashpoint and Vertigo rosters who want to have their one shining moment?

BROOKFORD: Do you want to win the Gold Rush? I will sell my services, I will ensure all your problems are solved. I can guarantee your imminent victory. How is that not enticing?

Amanda Johnson: What I believe is you are a soulless, heartless monster who sold his soul for money.

BROOKFORD: What’s wrong with loving money? That’s right, the love of money is the root of all evil. Nah, the love of money is gonna make me a rich man. Are we done?

Amanda Johnson: Gladly.

BROOKFORD stands up. He walks away as the scene fades to black.

Chandler Scott vs. Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine

When "Solarflare" by Yung Lean hits, the lights dim and eventually the crowd will begin to jeer. Pink and purple strobe lights starts to flare. Once the bass drops, Scandalous Tony emerges from the curtains with his arms spread out, accompanied by 3 full-figured women following behind him(never the same group of women). He pops the collar on his furry vest before turning his back the ring and utters something to the women behind him. Suddenly he swings back around and slowly struts down the ramp, repeating the lyrics.

"The molecule that's me won't go without a fist
I'm a molecule but I stand in the mist
Bitch don't cut your wrists, I'mma kill to live
Solar flare, I can see the skies opening, I'm almost there"

Tony starts filing his nails while taking his sweet time to get to the ring, as he instructs the females to have the ropes held for him by the time he gets to ringside. With the ladies seated on the middle rope, Tony ignores them and walks up the steps and into the ring on his own. Tony laughs as he stands on the middle rope and looks out to the fans while slowly and seductively taking his furry vest off and throwing it to the group of females as they step off the apron. He backflips into the ring as his music slowly fades.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 192 pounds! He is “The Scandalous One” SUNSHINE SCANDALOUS TONYYYYYY CAAAARRRRMIIIIINE!!!

Geoff Penzer: Tony Carmine made his grand return two months ago when he unmasked himself after turning on Chandler Scott and Noelle Smith at Final Frontier. Since then, he has dropped Scott a second time after another attack from behind. But has Carmine bitten off more than he can chew by getting on Scott’s bad side?

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Red lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, hailing from Westwood, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 226 pounds! He is “The DNA of FGA” CHAAAAANDLERRRRR SCOOOOOTTTTT!!!

Chandler makes his way down to the ring with a smirk on his face. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while puts his hand above his eyes to scan the crowd. He smirks as he slowly slaps his chest three times before pointing to a lucky fan in the crowd. When Scott hops off the middle ropes, turns and land son his feet, the crowd boos when Carmine rushes over and connects with a front dropkick.

Geoff Penzer: OH COME ON!

The dropkicks ends Scott flying back into the corner. He then bounces off the turnbuckles and falls to the canvas. The bell sounds as Carmine grabs Scott by his jumpsuit, drags him back towards the center of the ring, pulls the suit over his head and stomps the hell out of him. He then mounts himself on top of Scott’s back and rains down punches to the back of the head. Carmine grabs Scott by the head with both hands before ramming him face-first onto the canvas over and other. Carmine then rips the top half of the jumpsuit off of Scott and spits it on before tossing it to the outside. He then rips off the bottom half of the jumpsuit, twirls it up, wraps it around Scott’s neck and chokes him with it.

Geoff Penzer: Carmine’s trying to choke the life out of Scott! The ref needs to get in there and put a stop to that!

The crowd continues to boo Carmine while the ref gives him until the count of five.

Ref: ONE... TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Carmine unwraps the jumpsuit from around Scott’s neck before tossing it to the outside. He then takes Scott, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. The boos continue as Carmine delivers several clubbing strikes across the back. The last of which drops Scott down to all fours. But Carmine doesn’t stop. He keeps up the attack. After several stomps to the back, Carmine begins to kick Scott repeatedly in the ribs. He then yanks Scott up onto his knees and chokes him across the middle rope as he presses down across the back of the neck. The ref gives Carmine until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Carmine pulls Scott from off the ropes. While Scott gasps for hair, Carmine grabs him by the hair with one hand, pulls his head back and then nails him with a pointed elbow strike to the face. After yanking Scott back to his feet, Carmine takes him and whips him hard into the corner. Scott arches his back as he slowly drops down to his knees. Carmine saunters over, pulls Scott back up and whips him hard into the previous corner. After Scott’s back collides with the turnbuckles, he immediately collapses face-first onto the canvas. The boos continues as Carmine twirls around his his arms out to the side before sauntering back over to Scott. Carmine pulls him up, brings him from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Carmine knocks him down with a back elbow to the face. Carmine reaches down, pulls Scott into a seated position and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he connects with a dropkick to the back of the head. The boos continue as he makes the cover.

Carmine picks up Scott, throws him down with a snapmare and follows up with a spinning bootscrape across the face. He then reaches down, pulls Scott back up an doubles him over with three punches to the face. After bringing Scott down with a snapmare, he takes off into the ropes. When Carmine returns, the crowd boos when he flattens Scott with a dropkick to the face. He makes the cover.

Scott takes his forearms and grinds it across Scott’s face while the crowd boos.

Geoff Penzer: Carmine has been relentless with his attack here tonight! Downright relentless!

Carmine sits up Scott and places him in a rear chinlock. The ref gets down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Carmine stands up, takes a few steps back, runs forward and nails him with a soccer kick right to the lower back. Scott howls in pain while he arches his back. Carmine crouches down next to Scott and mocks him before standing back up and flattening him with a jumping stomp to the head. He then pulls Scott back up into a seated position and applies a neck crank. The ref kneels back down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Carmine lets go and follows up with jumping pointed elbow strike to the side of the neck. Scott winces in pain after Carmine gets back to his feet and places him in another neck crank.

LET’S GO, CHANDLER!
*CLAP-CLAP, CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*

Geoff Penzer: This capacity crowd is trying to rally behind Scott. Scott didn’t even get a fair chance to start this match after Carmine attacked him from behind. This match has been all Sunshine Scandalous ever since.

Scott begins to feed off the energy of the crowd. After turning over onto a knee, he slowly gets back to a vertical abse. Scott then begins to nail Carmine with elbows to the midsection. Once the hold is broken, Scott goes to run into the ropes. But Carmine reaches out, grabs him by the back of the tights, pulls Scott back towards him and nails him with a knee to the lower back. The crowd boos Carmine as he places Scott in an abdominal stretch. The ref gets down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Carmine begins to elbow him repeatedly in the ribs. Soctt can be seen groaning in pain. Carmine laughs while he taunts Scott. The ref continues to check in with the DNA of FGA and asks him if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Carmine lets go, takes Scott and brings him down with a snap suplex. He turns over and makes the cover.

Carmine pulls up Scott, lifts him up and brings him down with a belly to back suplex. After turning Scott over into the prone position, Carmine stands on the back of his thighs. After locking Scott’s legs around his, he reaches down and grabs Scott by the wrists. He then pulls back and drops into a seated position. The crowd boos as Carmine places Scott in a seated surfboard stretch. The ref gets down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Carmine begins to pull back on the wrists over and over. Scott winces while he continues to shake his head from side to side. The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. But just like all the other times he’s been asked, Scott refuses. So Carmine pulls back further and transitions into a seated surfboard chinlock. Scott groans as pulls back on the hold. The ref asks Scott if he wants to quit. Once again, Scott refuses. So Carmine slips his hands up slightly and pulls back with a fish hook. The crowd erutps with boos as Carmine tries to rip Scott’s mouth apart. The ref quickly gives him until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Carmine reluctantly lets go. The Scandalous One gets up and circles Scott while he shakes his head. He then begins to put the boots to Scott before pulling him back to his feet. Carmine scoops him up from the side and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He makes the cover.

Scott gets his shoulder up.

Carmine grabs Scott by the hair and slowly pulls him back to his feet. He tells Scott that he was nothing without him before blasting him with a right hand to the face. He then holds Scott’s chin and tells him that he’ll always be his son before blasting him with another right hand. Carmine grabs Scott by the chin and taunts him once more before throwing out another right hand. This time, Scott blocks and counters with a punch of his own! The crowd cheers when Scott beats Carmine to the punch and blasts him with another right hand. Scott then nails Carmine with another right hand… and another… and another… and another… and anoth-NO! The cheers turn to boos when Carmine rakes him across the eyes. He then takes Scott and goes for a vertical suplex. But Scott’s able to slip down from behind. He positions Carmine for a German Suplex before Carmine counters with a back elbow to the face. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Carmine returns, Scott lifts him up across his shoulders and brings him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! The chers continue as Carmine bounces off of Scott’s knees. He quickly rolls away while he clutches the back of his neck.

Geoff Penzer: Carmine’s down! Scott’s finally found his opening! But can he capitalize on it!?

Scott marches over, pulls up Carmine, heads into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Carmine around, Scott nails him with repeated punches to the midsection. He then switches targets and unleashes a flurry of right hands to the face. He then takes Carmine and whips him hard into the opposite corner. As Carmine staggers from out of the corner, Scott brings him down with a Sling Blade. He then pulls Carmine back to his feet before whipping him hard into another corner. As Carmine staggers from out of the corner, Scott scoops him up from the side before delivering a running backbreaker. Carmine groans while he holds his lower back. But Scott shows zero compassion. He yanks Carmine up by the hair and whips him hard into a third corner. Carmine “Flair Flips” up the turnbuckles before flipping back down. As Carmine stumbles backwards away from the corner, Scott brings him down with a reverse Sling Blade!

Scott pulls Carmine back to his feet and blasts him with a European Uppercut that quickly drops The Scandalous One. Carmine turns over on all fours and slowly crawls over towards the ropes. Scott is quick to put a stop to that when he marches over and delivers a stomp to Carmine’s left hand. Carmine quickly pulls the hand to his chest and guards it. After Scott grabs him by the hair and slowly pulls him back to his feet, he nails Scott with right hands to the midsection. After an eye rake results in boos from the crowd, Carmine drops Scott to a knee with a spinning discus elbow. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Carmine returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott quickly gets back to his feet and turns him inside out with a Pinpoint Dropkick!

Geoff Penzer: Picture perfect dropkick right to the face of Tony Carmine!

Scott pulls Carmine back to his feet, lifts him up and delivers a Shotgun Stunner. After pulling Carmine up into a seated position, Scott turns and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he flattens Carmine with a sliding forearm smash. Scott pulls him back up into a seated position before taking off into the ropes. When Scott comes back, he nails Carmine with another sliding forearm smash! Scott pulls Carmine back up into a seated position before heading back into the ring. When Scott comes back, he cracks Carmine across the face with a third sliding forearm smash! Instead of making the cover, Scott stays seated and looks over at Carmine’s bloodied mouth.

Geoff Penzer: Scott doesn’t want to beat Carmine. He wants to beat the hell out of him!

Scott yanks up Carmine, runs and chucks him through the ropes and to the floor. After Scott rolls to the outside, he yanks Carmine up before whipping him hard into the steel steps. Scott marches over and kicks the bottom half of the steps out of the way. He slowly reaches down, pulls Carmine up by the hair with both hands and rams the back of his head against the ring post! While Carmine leans against the ring post, Scott turns to walk away when he looks over and see half of the steel steps. He looks over at Carmine, then back down at the steel steps. The crowd explodes with cheers when Scott reaches down and snatches up the steel steps by the side handle.

Geoff Penzer: OH BOY!

The ref is pleading with Scott not to do it. But Scott completely ignores him. After getting a good grip on the steps with both hands, Scott runs over and throws the steel steps at Carmine’s face.

*CLANG*

The crowd sighs as Carmine is able to turn and drop down on all fours at the last second, causing the steps to bounce off the ring post. Carmine tries to crawl away. But Scott rounds the ring post and is right on his tail. After pulling up Carmine from behind, Scott turns him around. Carmine goes for a low blow. As soon as Scott catches his foot, Carmine counters with an enzuigiri. While Scott is down on all fours, the boos continues as Carmine peels back the protective matting to expose the concrete floor underneath!

Geoff Penzer: What is Carmine going for here!?

Carmine pulls Scott over onto the exposed floor. After pulling Scott up into a standing headscissors, Carmine goes for a piledriver. But Scott counters with a back body drop, sending Carmine back-first onto the exposed floor! The crowd boos as Carmine arches his back. Scott picks up Carmine and rolls him back inside. He then reaches in, places Carmine in a three-quarter facelock and drags his upper body out past the apron. Scott looks around at the crowd and nods before planting him with the Mass Spike (apron-hung Cutter) onto the exposed floor!

Geoff Penzer: Carmine was just dropped face-first onto the exposed floor with the Cutter!

Scott pulls up Carmine and rolls him back inside. After rolling back in, Scott doesn’t make the cover. Instead, he pulls Carmine up to his feet by the hair and whips him into the corner. Scott runs over and clobbers him with a running European Uppercut that sends Carmine slumping down in the corner! After Scott pulls him up by the hair, he whips Carmine into the opposite corner. Scott runs, jumps and cracks him across the face with a flying corner elbow smash! The cheers continue as Scott sits Carmine up on the top turnbuckle. Scott climbs up onto the middle ropes before shaking his head from side to side. The cheers get louder when Scott steps up onto the top ropes! He then grabs Carmine, lifts him up and brings him down hard with a superplex! Without letting go of Carmine, Scott rolls through it, pulls Carmine back to his feet, lifts him up and delivers the CRS-Two (End of Heartache)! Carmine bounces off of Scott’s knees before hitting the canvas.

Geoff Penzer: Carmine’s back has to be a wreck!

Scott goes over and holds up Carmine’s legs. Carmine holds his hands up and pleads for Scott to stop. But Scott ignores his request and follows up with an elbow drop across the right knee. Scott gets up, lifts up the right leg and delivers another elbow drop to it. He then returns to his feet, lifts up the right leg and delivers a rolling leg snap. Carmine sits up in pain while he holds his leg. Scott heads over and knocks him back flat on the mat with a punch to the face. He then reaches down, lifts up Carmine’s right leg and delivers another rolling leg snap. Carmine groans as he turns over into the prone position. Scott stalks Carmine before yanking him up off the canvas. He lifts Carmine up before delivering a shinbreaker to the right leg. While Carmine tries to hobble away, Scott comes up from behind and delivers a hard kick to the back of the leg, sending Carmine flipping down to the canvas. While Carmine is in the prone position, Scott places his foot on the back of Carmines right knee. After bending the right leg at 90 degrees, Scott lifts the leg up before throwing it down hard against the canvas. Carmine rolls over and clutches the leg in agony. But Scott is far from done. He heads over, grabs Carmine by the right ankle and drags him over towards the ropes. After delivering a stomp to the face, Scott places Carmine’s right ankle across the middle rope. He then delivers three springboard seated senton across the right knee! The cheers continue as Carmine covers his face and groans. He then takes Carmine by the right ankle and drags him towards the center of the ring. While keeping the leg held in the air, Scott turns and looks around at each section of the crowd. With the crowd at a fever pitch, Scott nods his head. He then reaches down and lifts up Carmine’s other leg. He then steps through the legs, crosses Carmine’s legs around his and wraps his arm around the legs. Scott looks down at Carmine and gives him the middle finger with his free hand before turning other into the Scott Lock (Scorpion Death Lock)! The crowd explodes with cheers as Carmine screams in pain. The ref gets down and asks Carmine if he wants to give up. Carmine nods his head as he taps out on the canvas.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, CHANDLER SCOTT!!!

Scott doesn’t let go of the hold. He keeps the Scott Lock applied for an extra seven seconds before reluctantly letting go. The ref goes to raise his arm in the air. But Scott is quick to pull his arm away from the ref. He stares down at Carmine and narrows his eyes before heading to the outside and making his way back up the ramp.

Geoff Penzer: After being attacked early on to start the match, Chandler Scott systemically took apart Tony Carmine and got the submission victory with the Scott Lock!

We cut to the backstage area where, to a pop from the crowd, the cameras open up to a familiar shot of the FGA World Tag Team Championship-- at least one of them. Within a few moments, we pan out, cutting to a shot of the second championship belt, resting on the shoulder of one Ashlyn De Luca. She looks up toward someone just out of frame… and our camera pans out a bit, revealing Logan Alexander. He has something of a faraway stare in his eyes, with his hands clasped together in front of himself, fingers interlaced, while he rolls them around together.

Ashlyn De Luca: You about ready to end this?

He reacts with a start as Ashlyn breaks whatever line of thought he’d been lost in. He looks towards her.

Logan Alexander: Oh… yeah. I think I’ll be ready to go in just a couple of minutes.

He glances down to the floor.

Logan Alexander: Just have to get through this without any of the more recent stumbles is all.

De Luca catches the look on his face and shakes her head a bit as she picks up Logan’s half of the World Tag Team Championships, looking toward it calmly as she speaks to her partner.

Ashlyn De Luca: You’ve talked me down this road over and over. Getting in your own head before something like this-- it doesn’t do you any favors. You find your screwups, you step back, you adjust, and then you get back in there, right?

He nods slightly.

Logan Alexander: Yeah. That’s how you best take care of it… and that’s what I’ve been trying to do. Just feels like this has been building up for a while and that as of late, that approach hasn’t been working for me.

He reaches up to rub the bridge of his nose with his left hand for several moments. He then lowers it and meets Ashlyn’s gaze.

Logan Alexander: I know how important this is though. I’ll be there and be ready to compete. It’s… it’s just tough to push aside the doubts sometimes, especially when they’ve had time to fester.

He takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly. Ashlyn listens to him speak for a moment, but doesn’t provide much of an obvious reaction, though her eyes wander in thought. Her eyes drift down toward his half of the championships again before she holds it out toward him.

Ashlyn De Luca: We had never teamed together a day in our lives, and went through hell to get these. Every single time we walked through the curtains, we had pppppretty good reason to have doubts, but right now? Right now, these-- these negative vibes-- this is the kind of stuff that Bisley and Majima feed off of. And they don’t deserve to. They might come harder tonight, but we know what we’re getting into.

She pushes the belt into his chest.

Ashlyn De Luca: But I really can’t have you beating yourself up over stuff we can’t change. They’re already gonna be busy doing that to us.

Logan glances down at the belt his partner holds against him, then he looks back at her. He smiles slightly.

Logan Alexander: Well, I guess this means that you’ve picked up pretty much all of my lessons. You even do the inspirational stuff better than me.

Ashlyn De Luca: Mm, I shoulda been a motivational speaker.

The two share a small smile which never quite evolves into a chuckle, but just as quickly, the smiles fade and Ashlyn turns to Logan again.

Ashlyn De Luca: I wanna hurt em, Logan. I know what our priority is… you know I do. But… like... I don’t wanna walk out of here without blood on my hands. Not this time.

The audience pops a bit at the declaration and Logan regards her quietly as he considers her words.

Logan Alexander: I know… and I want to do the same.

Ashlyn nods, satisfied with the lack of ambiguity in the response while the audience pops once again

Logan Alexander: This has gone on for months between the four of us. This is the first time that we’ll get to face them and not have to worry about anything else waiting for us down the line. There won’t be any other outside factors getting involved in this. This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, to put them in their place.

Ashlyn De Luca: No one can walk away from this making excuses.

She gestures toward the championships.

Ashlyn De Luca: It has to be about these tonight but-- but if we’re ending this, it has to be about more than that.  We can’t hold anything back against these dudes. And I don’t understand everything about them. I won’t pretend I do, man. I just…

She trails off a bit, noticing Logan’s expression out of the corner of her eye.

Ashlyn De Luca: What are you thinking?

Logan Alexander:  Ever since the anniversary show… ever since they attacked us from behind after we won the Tag Team championships, I’ve been waiting for the right time to get even. I do believe that tonight is the right time. I want to beat them, that’s the first matter to attend to, but beyond that I want to leave a mark on them as well. To show them and everyone else that if they think taking shortcuts against us will work, that we’ll prove them wrong and make them pay for it.

Ashlyn listens and slowly nods, a smirk crossing her face, responding in a quiet tone.

Ashlyn De Luca: Hell yeah. So. Then we’ll leave a mark.

At that, Logan simply nods to her. His expression hardens a little and he seems to gaze off into the distance again for a few moments. He then focuses back on Ashlyn

Logan Alexander: Let’s do this.

Ashlyn De Luca: After you, big guy.

She gives Logan a wink before he leads the way out of the locker room. After a deep breath and a few soft slaps to her own cheek, Ashlyn nods to herself and follows suit, leaving us to fade to black on the empty locker room.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the FGA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The arena lights slowly dim as the doom-laden synths of “Another Chance” blast out across the arena, and as they dim blue lights fill the entranceway, growing in brightness as the music gets more intense, and as the main hook grows the pairing of Mark Bisley emerge at the top of the ramp, Bisley with an arm raised as he surveys all before him while Majima wears a stony expression

As they walk down the ramp, Bisley stops and holds his arms apart and tilts his head back to tell the entire arena he is here, while Majima stands directly behind him with his arms held aloft as he looks directly towards the ring, with the pair almost resembling the Vitruvian Man as they do this

Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, the challengers! Making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 443 pounds! They are the team of “Smart” Mark Bisley and “The Strong Style Savior” Shintaro Majima… SMAAAAAARRRRRT STYYYYYYYLE!!!

Making their way to ringside, Bisley lifts himself onto the apron and adopts a kneeling position, pointing to the side of his head a couple of times, while Majima stands beside him and removes his sunglasses, looking out into the crowd. A moment later, Majima steps into the ring while Bisley rolls under the ropes before getting back to a knee in the ring, running his hand on the canvas to say this is my ring while Majima stands behind him rubbing the back of each hand in his palms.

Geoff Penzer: Smart Style haven’t just spent the past several months trying to pit Vertigo and Flashpoint against each other for their services, but they’ve also made enemies out of The Chaotics. After harboring resentment from their elimination last summer during the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament, Smart Style attacked The Chaotics and staked their claim for a Tag Team Title Match. They lost at Final Frontier alongside the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad. But neither member of Smart Style was pinned. Now, Smart Style finally get their two on to tag team match. This is the match that they’ve been waiting months for. But are they ready to finish what they started?

The lights in the arena slowly fade to darkness. While this hushes some members of the audience, others grow loud in anticipation. “Deadcruiser” hits the PA system and a silver-blue strobe begins to dance near the top of the ramp, revealing a feminine figure with a hoodie thrown over wrestling gear, back turned toward the ring. As the lights in the arena begin to systematically brighten, it becomes clear that the figure is Ashlyn De Luca. The arena plunges into darkness once more, earning a cheap pop from the live audience for theatrics-- before all of the lights scream to life, casting a blinding glow down on the pair at the top of the ramp. While Ashlyn De Luca now faces the ring, arms still above her head, our camera swing to reveal Logan standing with his back to hers, arms held out straight to the side. Ashlyn lowers her arms, pointing directly at the hard camera with a smirk, though she abandons it as she and the hooded Logan Alexander abruptly part, marching toward the ring with a purpose.

Melanie Sierra: And their opponents, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 368 pounds! They are the team of Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca… THE CHAAAAOOOOOTICCCSSSSS!!!

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, Ashlyn pauses just once to survey the audience while Logan walks to the ring apron, stepping inside. Ashlyn ever-so-faintly smiles into the audience again before rushing to the barricade. Our hard camera takes over, with Ashlyn leaping onto the barricade, arms wide as she screams back out into the raucous audience. Behind her, Logan mounts the bottom-and-middle ropes, arms held to his side in a similar pose. Simultaneously, the two remove their hoodies, revealing the FGA World Tag Team Championships to a pop from the crowd. Logan, now on the second turnbuckle, raises the title high above his head. Still on the barricade, Ashlyn does the same before lowering it down toward the fans in front of her who reach out to touch it for “good luck” until Ashlyn drops from the barricade, sliding into the ring beneath the ropes, hopping to her feet on the opposite side of the ring, screaming out into the other side of the audience as they rise to their feet.

Logan drops down from the corner and bumps forearms with De Luca in the center of the ring with one arm, then bumps the title belts against each other with the other. Finally, they pass each other, mounting opposite corners to look out into the masses, raising the championships into the air once more. The Chaotics remove their hoodies, tossing them simultaneously into the crowd as their music fades.

Geoff Penzer: The Chaotics were arguably the top team in FGA in 2017, winning both the Dynamic Duos Tournament in the summer and then the World Tag Team Titles in the fall. But as of late, they’ve been on a bit of a skid as Smart Style have continued to push the issue between both teams. Can The Chaotics turn things around and finish things off with Smart Style once and more all?

The crowd goes wild as The Chaotics and Smart Style trade blows to start off the match!

Geoff Penzer: Look at these teams go! They’re holding nothing back!

Both teams continue to trade blows until The Chaotics gain the upperhand. Ashlyn De Luca and Logan Alexander begin to move Mark Bisley and Shintaro Bisley back towards the ropes with repeated punches to the face. While Smart Style appear to be dazed, The Chaotics turn and run into the far ropes. When they come back, they throw out a clothesline. But Smart Style ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Smart Style comes back, they see The Chaotics run past them into the ropes. So they slam on the brakes. When Smart Style turn around, Alexander hits a lariat takedown on Majima while De Luca delivers a running hurricanrana to Bisley! Majima returns to his feet. But he’s quickly returned to the mat with another lariat takedown from Alexander! Bisley gets back to his feet. But he, too, is sent back to the mat with a running dropkick from De Luca! After Smart Style return to their feet, Alexander takes Majima and whips him into one corner while De Luca takes Bisley and whips him into the opposite corner. The Chaotics rush into the corner to attack. But Smart Style block each attack with a back elbow. The crowd boos as Majima tosses Alexander into the corner and sends him slumping down with Mongolian Chops. Meanwhile, Bisley takes De Luca and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning her around, Bisley delivers the Minnesota Buzzsaw (repeated shoot kicks to the chest). Smart Style turn around and look across the ring. After giving each other a nod, they grab Logan and De Luca and go for an irish whip. But The Chaotics reverse, sending Smart Style crashing into each other in the center of the ring! As Majima stumbles back after the collision, Alexander grabs him from behind and brings him down with the Chaotic Shockwave (inverted implant DDT)! Meanwhile, De Luca grabs Bisley from the side and brings him down with a double rolling russian legsweep. After Bisley turns over and gets up on his knees, De Luca runs over and spikes him with a basement hurricanrana! Bisley’s head bounces off the canvas before he rolls to the outside. Back in the ring, De Luca heads over and grabs Majima from the side while Alexander heads into the ropes. When he comes back, The Chaotics bring Majima down with a russian leg sweep/single knee lungblower combination! The Strong Style Savior slowly rolls to the outside. The crowd then reaches a fever pitch after The Chaotics have successfully cleared the ring.

Geoff Penzer: The Chaotics have come out like a house of fever and they’ve got this capacity crowd going wild!

While Bisley starts to pick himself up on the outside, De Luca turns and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, she leaps through the ropes and flattens him with a suicide front dropkick! The cheers continue as she picks up Bisley, slams him face-first onto the apron and rolls him back inside. Alexander then pulls Bisley up in the ring, presses him against the ropes and unleashes a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then takes Bisley and whips him into the far ropes. When Bisley returns, Alexander delivers an inverted atomic drop before planting him with a DDT. Chaos Stryke turns over and makes the cover.

Alexander pulls up Bisley, heads into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Bisley around, Alexander doubles him over with several punches to the midsection. He then takes Bisley and whips him hard into the opposite corner. As Bisley staggers from out of the corner, Alexander leans forward before throwing him down with a back body drop. Bisley howls in pain after he lands back-first on the mat. Bisley sits up and arches his back in pain. Alexander heads over, pulls Bisley back up and hits a snap suplex. He rolls over and makes the cover.

Alexander picks up Bisley, marches into The Chaotics’ corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging in De Luca. Alexander pulls back and holds Bisley’s arms back while De Luca scales to the top turnbuckle. She leaps off and nails him with a punch to the face on the way down. After Alexander lets go, De Luca brings Bisley towards the center of the ring and knocks him down with a standing dropkick. She makes the cover.

De Luca pulls up Bisley and sends him into the corner with an irish whip. She then runs across the ring and nails him with a corner Shining Wizard. After Bisley crumbles from out of the corner, De Luca drops down and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Good ring awareness by Bisley. But this match continues to be controlled by The Chaotics!

De Luca picks up Bisley, pulls him away from the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Bisley comes back, De Luca doubles him over with a spinning back kick to the midsection before heading into the ropes. When she comes back, she throws out a scissors kick. But Bisley slips out of the way. Once De Luca lands on her feet, he quickly grabs her from behind, runs and tosses her over the top rope. After De Luca lands safely on the apron, Majima grabs her leg from the floor. Before he can yank her off, De Luca uses her free leg to kick him away from her. When De Luca her attention back to the ring, Bisley nails her with an Ace Kick (triangle enzuigiri)! The crowd boos as De Luca falls to the floor. Majima quickly picks De Luca up from off the ground, lifts her up and slams her down with the Kurifu (back suplex side slam)! After rolling De Luca back inside, Majima climbs up onto the apron. Bisley tags him in before pulling up De Luca and holding her in place. Majima then knocks her down with the Hakai Tsuchi (slingshot shoulder block) before making the cover!

Geoff Penzer: De Luca gets the shoulder up. But Smart Style finally regained control of this match after the Ace Kick off the apron and then the Kurifu on the outside. Now they’ve got De Luca all the way across the ring in their corner. That’s bad news for the champs.

Majima pulls up De Luca, delivers a double leg pickup and then rams her back-first into the corner. The Strong Style Savior proceeds to deliver multiple shoulder thrusts in the corner before tagging Bisley back in. Once Biley gets in, Smart Style deliver an irish whip into the ropes. When De Luca returns, Smart Style deliver the Kaminarimon (drop toe hold from Majima/Lionsault across the back from Bisley)! The boos continue as Bisley pulls De Luca over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Smart Style have begun to wisely target the back of the faster, more agile De Luca. De Luca’s not known for her aerial abilities. But she does use speed to her advantage. However, the more they work over her back, the more she’s going to slow down.

Majima picks up De Luca, moves her into the corner and delivers machinegun chops in the corner. He then takes De Luca and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip. The Strong Style Savior charges across the ring and throws out the Kao No Nai (corner yakuza kick). But De Luca is able to dive out of the way. She then crawls over towards The Chaotics corner as Majima tries to get his leg from off the top rope.

Geoff Penzer: Majima’s stuck! Can De Luca make it to the corner in time and tag out!?

Once Majima frees himself, he turns around and marches over to pull De Luca back. But it’s too late as she dives over and tags Alexander back in!

Geoff Penzer: Alexander’s back in!

The crowd cheers when Alexander greets Majima with right hands to the face. He then takes Majima and goes for an irish whip. But Majima reverses, sending him into the ropes. As soon as Alexander hits the ropes, Bisley knees him in the back.

Geoff Penzer: What a cheap shot from Bisley!

Alexander quickly drops down to a knee. He then gets back to his feet, turns and goes after Bisley. But Bisley wisely hops down to the floor. While Alexander’s back is turned, Majima tries to run up and attack from behind. But the veteran Alexander knew it was coming. So he nails Majima with a back elbow to the face! Bisley then yanks him down to the mat before pulling him to the outside. Bisley and Majima proceed to brawl on the outside. The boos then turn to cheers when Alexander gains the upper hand. Once Alexander fends off Bisley, he turns back to face the ring. But he’s quickly knocked down by an elbow suicida from Majima!

Geoff Penzer: Alexander got blindsided by that elbow suicida!

The boos continue as Smart Style pick up Alexander and bring him down with a double snap suplex on the floor! Majima then pulls up Alexander and rolls him back inside before sliding himself back in. He makes the cover.

Majima tags out to Bisley. Once Bisley gets in, Smart Style pull up Alexander, move him into the corner and alternate between knife-edge chops and backhand chops! After Majima exit the ring, Bisley pulls Alexander from out of the corner and whip him into the ropes. When Alexander returns, Bisley doubles him over with a rolling solebutt. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Bisley returns, he drops Alexander down to a knee after a high speed running dropkick to the knee. After Bisley returns to his feet, he knocks Alexander down by nailing him with a superkick! He drops down and makes the cover.

Bisley goes over and tags Majima back in. After Bisley heads back over and brings Alexander down with a snapmare, Smart Style deliver East Meets West (running soccer kick to the back from Bisley, running soccer kick to the chest from Majima)! Majima drops down and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: De Luca with the timely save there. Thus far, we’ve had two title matches which featured two titles changes. Will the challengers go three for three?

As Majima pulls up Alexander, Chaos Stryke begins to hit him with punches to the midsection. Wile Majima is doubled over, Alexander turns and runs into the ropes. When Alexander returns, Majima throws him down with the Noshinto (STO to running opponent)! The boos continue as he drops down and makes the cover.

Majima picks up Alexander, delivers an irish whip, follows him into the corner and connects with a running forearm smash! He then takes Alexander and whips him hard into the opposite corner. As Alexander staggers from out of the corner, the crowd boos when Majima lifts him up and throws him down with a Uranage! He drops down and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Majima thought it was three! But Alexander was able to get his shoulder up just in time! Smart Style have spent the last several minutes working over Alexander’s back like they did De Luca’s earlier in the match. Alexander’s got to get over to The Chaotics side of the ring and make the tag.

Majima pulls Alexander up from off the mat. He then grabs Alexander by the wrist and goes for a short-arm clothesline. But Alexander ducks. When Majima turns around, he gets caught with a superkick before bring brought down with a Flatliner!

Geoff Penzer: Majima’s down! But so is Alexander! He doesn’t have the energy to turn over and make the cover!

While both grapplers are down, the ref starts his count.

Alexander turns over on all fours and begins crawling towards his corner. Majima then turns over, reaches over and grabs the back of Alexander’s jeans. Alexander tries to continue to crawl forward. But Majima holds him in place. After The Strong Style Savior gets back to his feet, he pulls Alexander back to his feet and goes for a German Suplex. But as Majima lifts him up, Alexander nails him with a back elbow to the face. After Majima lowers him back down, Alexander nails him with two more back elbows. He then performs a standing switch, grabs Majima and brings him down with a backdrop suplex!

Geoff Penzer: Alexander brings Majima down once again!

With both grapplers down, the ref starts his count.

Alexander turns over and begins to pull himself across the mat towards The Chaotics corner. But Majima turns over, reaches out and grabs onto his ankle. He then grabs the ankle with his other hand. After pulling up Alexander from behind, Majima hooks his arms before hitting the GOJU50 (half and half suplex)! The boos continue as Majima crawls over and drape shis arm across Alexander’s chest for the cover.

Geoff Penzer: What determination we’re seeing here tonight from Logan Alexander!

Majima picks up Alexander. The crowd gasps when Majima lifts him up for the Kurimuzon Jigoku (sheer drop brainbuster). But on the way up, Alexander nails Majima with a knee to the head. After Alexander lands on his feet, he throws Majima down with the Chaotic Impact (STO)! While Majima is sprawled out on the canvas, Alexander rolls over and gets on all fours. Bisley can be seen shouting as Majima. But The Strong Style Savior doesn’t move. Meanwhile, De Luca can be seen waving Alexander over towards their corner. Majima begins to stir on the canvas while Alexander continues to crawl closer to De Luca. Majima gets up on his knees and then back to a vertical base. When he turns around, he sees Alexander tagging out to De Luca. The Strong Style Savior then marches over to the corner to attack De Luca. But he’s too late as De Luca brings him down with a springboard double flying knee! After rolling off of Majima, De Luca crawls back over and makes the cover.

Bisley yanks De Luca up off the canvas, turns and tosses her through the ropes. After De Luca lands safely on the apron, Bisley heads into the corner and throws out another Ace Kick. This time, De Luca ducks. When Bisley returns to his feet and turns around, De Luca brings him down with a springboard hurricanrana! When Bisley turns over and gets up on a knee, De Luca is quick to flatten him with a Shining Wizard! When De Luca gets back to her feet and turns around, Majima throws out the Kurimuzon Kasai (lariat). But De Luca rolls underneath it. When Majima turns around, he gets caught with a pelé kick. De Luca then dobuels him over with a spinning back kick to the midsection. After bringing Majima down to a knee with a shoot kick to the side of the knee, De Luca knocks him down with an Axe Kick to the head! She makes the cover.

After stepping back towards the center of the ring, Majima runs back into the corner to attack. But De Luca knocks him back with a boot to the face. She then hoists herself up onto the middle ropes before knocking him down with a flying front dropkick! She crawls over and makes the cover.

After sending Majima into the corner with an irish whip, De Luca heads over and nails him with a running elbow strike. De Luca circles out of the corner, comes back and connects with another running elbow strike! She then climbs up onto the middle ropes, grabs Majima and plants him with a Tornado DDT! The cheers continue as she makes the cover.

Majima crawls over and tags out to Bisley. Once Bisley gets in, he rushes over and puts the boots to De Luca. He then reaches down, picks up De Luca, places her in a three quarter facelock and brings her down with Greetings From The Twin Cities (hangman’s neckbreaker across the knee)! He makes the cover.

Bisley picks up De Luca, grabs her from behind and goes for a German Suplex. But De Luca counters with a wheelbarrow victory roll!

After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, De Luca throws out a roundhouse kick. But Bisley swats it away. He then steps back and throws out a superkick. But De Luca ducks. When Bisley turns around, the crowd cheers when De Luca plants him with a standing Tornado DDT! She makes the cover.

The crowd boos when Bisley gets his shoulder up!

De Luca pulls up Bisley before turning to run into the ropes. When she comes back, she throws out the Syxx Kick (running double spinning wheel kick). But Bisley drops down into the prone position to duck the kick. After both grapplers return to a vertical base, Bisley doubles her over with a rolling solebutt kick to the midsection and delivers the Iko Uwais (cravat with repeated knees to the head). After the last knee drops De Luca down to a knee, Bisley pulls her back up to her feet, grabs her from behind and hits two rolling German Suplex into a release Dragon Suplex! The crowd boos as the release Dragon Suplex leaves De Luca folded up on the canvas1 Bisley crawls over, pulls De Luca over and makes the cover.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when De Luca gets her shoulder up!

Bisley heads over and tags Majima back in. After Bisley heads out onto the apron, Smart Style go for the Bakumatsu (springboard lariat/powerbomb combination). But Bisley whiffs on the lariat when De Luca counters with a hurricanrana on Majima! With Bisley in front of De Luca, De Luca runs across the ring and tries to leap over Bisley. But Bisley catches her in mid air, charges into the Smart Style corner and rams her back-first into the turnbuckles! After stepping back towards the center of the ring, Bisley dives into the corner to attack. But De Luca dives out of the way, causing Bisley to crash into the turnbuckles! De Luca begins to crawl across the ring until she’s pulled up from behind by Majima. After turning De Luca around, Majima scoops her up across his shoulder for the Kurimuzon Taki (Emerald Flowsion). But De Lica is able to slip down from behind. She then quickly hops onto his shoulders from behind, turns and brings him down with a frankensteiner! De Luca gets up on all fours, turns and begins crawling back over towards The Chaotics corner. She then gets to her feet, dives over and tags out to Alexander to an explosion of cheers!

Geoff Penzer: Alexander’s back in!

Alexander gets back in and nails Bisley with punches to the face. He then takes Bisley and whips him into the ropes. When Bisley returns, Alexander doubles him over with a boot to the midsection before planting him with the Chaotic Shockwave (Implant DDT)! When Alexander turns around, Majima throws out the Kurimuzon Kasai. But Alexander ducks, swings around Majima’s back and brings him down with five rolling German Suplexes!!! He then pulls Majima back up and lifts him up across his shoulders for an inverted Death Valley Driver! When Alexander turns around, Bisley blasts him in the face with a superkick, knocking both Alexander and Majima down to the mat! When Bisley turns around, De Luca leaps off the top turnbuckle and knocks him down with a flying shotgun dropkick! After Bsley’s momentum sends him rolling to the outside, De Luca heads into the corner, scales to the top turnbuckle and crouches down. Once Bisley gets to his feet and turns around, De Luca leaps off and goes for a flying double knee. But Biley dives out of the way, causing De Luca to crash hard on the floors on both knees!

Geoff Penzer: OH NO!

Back in the ring, Majima and Alexander trade chops until Majima gains the upper hand. He then takes Alexander and sends him into the corner with an irish whip. Majima runs over to follow up with the Kao No Nai. But Alexander catches his foot before shoving him down to the canvas. As Alexander comes from out of the corner, Majima rolls back up to his feet, rushes over and goes to attack Alexander. But Alexander begins him down with a drop toe hold before transitioning into the Edgecator!

Geoff Penzer: There it is! Perfect Chaos Theory! He’s got Majima trapped with nowhere to go!

The crowd cheers as Majima groans in pain. While Alexander continues to keep the hold applied, the ref asks Majima if he wants to give up. When Majima refuses, Alexander applies more pressure by leaning forward. The Strong Style Savior has a rare look on anguish on his face as he howls in pain. The ref continues to ask him if he wants to give up. Majima shakes his head no. majima shakes his head no again… and again. Then he stops. Majima cringes as he starts to raise his hand off the mat. The fans stand up as they feel they’re moments away from seeing The Chaotics retain. Majima continue to howl in pain while Alexander continues to fight like hell for the submission. Just as Majima’s about to tap, Bisley rolls back in, heads over and connects with a superkick to the back of the head that knocks Alexander down. The crowd erupts with boos. He then brings Alexander back to his feet before bringing him back down with Greetings from the Twin Cities! He then heads out onto the apron as Majima pulls up Alexander. After Majima sends Alexander into the corner with an irish whip, Smart Style connect with the Hotline Meiji (Kao No Nai/apron enzuigiri combination)! As Bisley steps back into the ring, Majima pulls Alexander from out of the corner. Majima then brings him back to the ring before delivering a vertical suplex lift. Bisley nails Alexander with a roundhouse kick to the head followed by the Kurimuzon Jihoku from Majima! Bisley stays on the lookout while Majima turns over and makes the cover.

Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners and now, the NEEEEEEWWWWWWW FGA World Tag Team Champions, SMART STYLE!

Bisley snatches the pair of Tag Titles from out of the ref’s hand. Smart Style then raise the World Tag team Title belts high over their heads as the crowd continues to boo.

Geoff Penzer: Mark Bisley and Shintaro Majima have done it! They have knocked off The Chaotics and are now the FGA World Tag Team Champions! What a match we just saw!

De Luca can be seen dragging herself towards the side of the ring. After pulling herself up using the edge of the apron, she rolls back inside. De Luca goes to crawl over to Alexander when Bisley purposely steps into her way. As De Luca looks up, Bisley smirks as he looks down and holds his half of the Tag Team Titles over his head. Majima then pulls Bisley out of De Luca’s way before exiting the ring.

The frantic opening to “Can You Feel It?” hits the PA system to a deafening mixed reaction from the audience. As purple-colored strobes flicker throughout the darkened arena, Evan Envi walks through the curtains toward the top of the ramp. He pauses, looking out among the audience with an arched brow before casually making his way toward the ring, a look of amusement crossing his face as he endures the varying reactions from the audience. He pauses just once at the bottom of the ramp, looking around the venue once more, a smirk spreading across his face.

Geoff Penzer: Evan Envi once again had a chance to admit or flat out deny he had any involvement in Neon’s attack on Cherry Baum. But once again, Envi has refused to give a straight answer! At this point, I think it’s obvious what the answer is. Which is a shame, because Envi didn’t need to be involved with something like that to get an advantage in this match. He has all the physical tools to outwrestle Johnny Karma. He doesn’t have to resort to those type of tactics. But at the end of the day, a leopard doesn’t change its spots.

Finally, as Envi walks up the steel steps and onto the apron, the lights slowly return to normal. He climbs the ropes like a staircase, raising the double “V” fingers into the air as he pauses on the top turnbuckle and then drops down into the ring, fingers still raised above his head as he marches toward the far set of ropes, looking out into the audience with a wink, muttering something to himself as his music fades and his arms lower to his side, loosening up his limbs as he backs into the corner.

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Johnny Karma walks out at the top of the ramp on his own, the Frontier Wrestling Arts championship draped over his shoulder, and he comes to a halt and glares towards Evan Envi in the ring, maintaining the glare as he lifts the title belt above his head before he places it on his shoulder once more as he begins to walk towards the ring

As he and continues down the ramp, still maintaining the pist avek glare in Envi's direction, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket as he gets ever closer to the ring

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma has unleashed his frustrations out on both Ashlyn De Luca and Neon in recent weeks. Can Karma compose himself here tonight? Will he go back to fighting his fight? Or will he act reckless and leave himself open for The Chief?

Once he reaches the ringside area, Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron and turns to face the audience and slowly raising the title high into the air once more to let everyone know who's the champ, before he steps through the ropes and unzips his ring jacket while maintaining his glare in Envi's direction the entire time - to the point that he keeps an eye over his shoulder as he climbs the turnbuckles before he holds the title high above his head

Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and dumps his ring jacket onto the canvas as he walks before climbing the opposite turnbuckle and raising the title into the air once again, this time not checking over his shoulder

Climbing down and taking his corner, Karma places the title over his shoulder once more and points an accusing finger while aiming some even more pointed words in Envi's direction

Geoff Penzer: Listen to this capacity crowd! They have turned of The Chief!

Envi closes his eyes before lowering his head and letting out a sigh. He opens his eyes before looking back over at Karma. Envi shakes his head at the champion. Karma doesn’t respond. The referee then heads into the corner of both men and instructs them to engage. Karma is the first out of his respective corner and heads to the center of the ring. Meanwhile, Envi continues to rest his arms on the top ropes in the corner. He then slowly pushes himself up out of the corner and steps towards the center of the ring. Envi scans the crowd before locking eyes with Karma in the center of the ring. Envi can be seen mouthing something to Karma. No one can tell if it’s an apology or not. But even if it is, Karma responds with a punch to the face that drops Envi to the canvas to an explosion of cheers from the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: Karma drops Envi right at the start of this match!

Envi turns over and gets back to his feet. But he’s quickly dropped back to the mat with another right cross.

Geoff Penzer: Karma blasts him with another punch!

Once Envi returns to a vertical base, Karma takes him by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But Envi reverses with an irish whip feint into an arm wrench. The boos continue while Envi keeps control of the wrist. He yanks the arm of Karma before delivering another arm wrench. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. But the champion refuses. So Envi delivers another arm wrench before following up with a knife edge chop. Envi hits Karma with another knife edge chop. And another. He then takes Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, he runs over Envi with a running shoulder block. He then turns and runs into another set of ropes. When Karma comes back, he runs over Envi with another running shoulder block. The champ turns and takes off into another set of ropes. When Karma returns, Envi turns over into the prone position. But instead of hopping over him, Karma quickly stops and delivers an elbow drop to the back. He then pulls Envi over and makes the cover.

Envi kicks out.

Karma pulls Envi back to his feet and delivers an arm wrench of his own. Envi winces as Karma delivers another arm wrench. Then a third for good measure. The ref asks Envi if he wants to give up. When Envi refuses, Karma brings him down to a knee after trying to rip the arm from out of its socket. Envi goes to get back to a vertical base. But Karma brings him right back down with another yank to the arm. Envi grimaces in discomfort from the hold. The ref kneels down and asks Envi if he wants to give up. But once again, Envi refuses. After getting off his knee, The Chief quickly rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. He then yanks Karma over towards him and catches him in a side headlock. Before Envi can cinch in the hold, Karma shoves him off into the ropes. When Envi returns, Karma knocks him back down with a standing shoulder block. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi kips up and leapfrogs over him. Karma continues to run the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi goes for a hip toss. But Karma steps through it and knocks him down with a clothesline. The crowd cheers as The Chief quickly rolls to the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Envi has retreated to the outside! This is not how he expected this match to go!

After rolling to the outside, Envi takes a breather while he guards his chest. But he doesn’t get to rest for too long as Karma rolls to the outside, grabs him from behind and rolls him back in. After sliding back into the ring, Karma gets to his feet and is met with a kick to the midsection. The crowd boos Envi as he whacks Karma with an open palm strike across the ear. He then moves Karma against the ropes and fires off a blistering knife edge chop. Envi eyes Karma before blasting him across the chest with another blistering knife edge chop. Envi follows up with three more chops. After the third chop, Karma knocks Envi down with a hard chop of his own!

Geoff Penzer: Karma put something extra on that one! Man!

Envi turns over onto a knee and guards his chest. Karma grabs him by the back of the neck, pulls him up, leans him into the corner and goes to slam him face-first into the top turnbuckle. But Envi gets his foot on the middle turnbuckle to block the move. After hitting Karma with an elbow to the chest, Envi takes him by the head and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Karma around, Envi delivers a knife edge chop, followed by a European Uppercut. He turns to the crowd, expecting a “WOOOO” to come from the fans in the United Center. But the only thing he gets are boos. So Envi delivers another knife edge chop, follows up with a European Uppercut and turns back to the crowd. But once again, he’s met with boos. Envi narrows his eyes as he nods his head. The Chief turns back to Karma. The boos continue as Envi delivers alternating knife edge chops and European Uppercuts. After the last uppercut, Karma takes Envi, tosses him into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena! He the takes Envi, delivers an irish whip, follows him across the ring and connects with an NYC Uppercut (running uppercut)! The cheers continue as he takes Envi, delivers an irish whip, follows him back into the opposite corner and connects with another NYC Uppercut! This time, Envi slumps down into a seated position.

Geoff Penzer: The Chief is rocked!

Karma makes his way from out of the corner. He then turns around, runs towards the corner and motions for the Kodak Moment (rope-assisted corner dropkick). But as soon as Karma jumps into the air, the crowd boos as Envi slips back to the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Evan Envi has once again taken a powder to the outside!

Envi puts his hands on his hips as he circles the ring. While Envi continues to take a breather on the outside, Karma turns and runs into the far ropes. When Karma comes back, Envi does a double take as Karma approaches him and goes for This Is For The Front Row (baseball slide clothesline). But Envi’s able to duck out of the way at the last second. After Karma lands on his feet, he turns to face Envi. The Chief then leans forward, lifts him up, turns and delivers an Alabama Slam across the edge of the apron. The crowd boos as Karma bounces off the aporn before falling to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: Good God!

Envi reaches down and slowly picks up Karma. After ramming him back-first against the side of the ring, Envi pulls Karma away from the ring before whipping him hard into the guard rail. Karma arches his back when he crashes into the rail. Envi then runs down ringside before sending Karma flipping over the guardrail and into the crowd with a running European Uppercut! The boos continue as Envi reaches over the guardrail, pulls Karma up and brings him back to ringside with a vertical suplex! Karma groans while he arches his back. The Chief then picks up Karma, pulls him back towards the ring and rolls him back inside. After climbing up onto the apron, Envi follows up with a slingshot elbow drop to the back. He then pushes Karma over and makes the cover.

Envi picks up Karma and sets him up for a Uranage. But before Envi can lift him up, Karma blocks with an elbow to the side of the head. After two more elbows to the side of the head, Karma turns and runs into the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi brings him down to a knee after a low-angle dropkick to the leg. Envi returns to his feet and blasts Karma with a buzzsaw kick before heading into the ropes. When Envi returns, he brings Karma down with a running cutter! The boos continue as he pulls Karma over and makes the cover.

Envi picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi doubles him over with a knee thrust to the midsection. He then takes the champion and whips him into another set of ropes. When Karma comes back, Envi drops him to his knees after another knee thrust to the midsection. Envi gets behind Karma, places him in a straightjacket hold and pulls him back to his feet. The Chief applies a straightjacket choke to Karma before pulling him down into multiple backbreakers. The boos continue as he makes the cover.

Envi picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi doubles him over with another knee thrust to the midsection. He then quickly transitions into an abdominal stretch. The ref kneels down and asks Karma if he wants to give up. Karma shakes his head from side to side. So Envi nails him with repeated hammer fists to the ribs. Envi then leans back to apply more pressure to the hold. A look on anguish is plastered across the face of the Undisputed Champion. The ref continues to ask Karma if he wants to give up. Karma tells him, “NO!” So Envi responds with several pointed elbow strikes to the midsection. Karma groans after each elbow strike. The Chief then leans back again to apply more pressure to the hold. Karma reaches out, but he’s nowhere near the ropes. The ref asks Karma does he want to give up. Once again, Karma refuses. So Envi releases the hold before quickly throwing Karma across the ring with a pumphandle suplex! The boos continue as Envi crawls across the ring, pulls Karma over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Karma gets his shoulder up. But he got it up a lower slower than before. Envi’s plan of attack is working.

Envi picks up Karma, lifts him up and throws him down with a Sambo Suplex. The Chief returns to his feet and points to the top turnbuckle as he heads into the corner. After scaling to the top turnbuckle, the fans stand up as Envi flips off and goes for The Classic (diving moonsault). But Karma rolls out of the way, causing Envi to crash onto the canvas!

Geoff Penzer: He missed! Envi missed! Nobody was home!

While Karma on his back and Envi face down on the mat, the ref checks with both grapplers before starting his count.

Karma begins to stir as Envi slowly pushes himself up on all fours. The Chief then gets up onto a knee as Karma turns over onto his knees. Envi beats Karma back to a vertical base. Once Karma finally gets back to his feet, Envi spins him around and blasts him with a forearm strike. The Chief reaches back and blasts Karma with another forearm strike. He then reaches over and grabs the back of Karma’s head with his left arm and pulls him into two quick forearm strikes. He then takes Karma and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Envi into the ropes. When Envi returns, Karma puts his arm out, swings around Envi and places his in a sleeper hold. The crowd cheers as Envi quickly panics. He begins flailing his arms around before quickly turning to his right, grabbing Karma from the side and bringing him down with a Saito Suplex! The crowd boos Envi’s successful counter. After The Chief sits back up, he scans the crowd. Envi takes in their reaction and nods his head. After turning over and getting back to his feet, he walks over and picks up Karma. After another open palm strike across the ear, he takes the champion and whips him into the corner. After running into the corner and connecting with another running European Uppercut, he places Karma in a headlock and goes for a running bulldog from out of the corner. But Karma shoves him off into the ropes. When Envi returns, Karma swings back around Envi and places him in another sleeper hold! The crowd cheers as Envi’s eyes widen with shock. The Chief tries to reach out for the ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. After reaching up and grabbing Karma’s forearms with both hands, Envi lunges forward, sending Karma flying off his back and landing on the canvas. After both grapplers return to their feet, Karma marches back over towards Envi. The Chief throws out a roundhouse kick. But Karma swats it away. He then quickly steps back and throws out Check Your Chiclets (superkick). But Envi catches his foot. He then swings the leg away from him before connecting with a superkick to the back of Karma’s head! He then reaches out, grabs Karma by the back of the tights, yanks him over towards him and places him in a sleeper hold of his own! The crowd boos as Karma flails his arms around. He tries to reach out for the ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. Envi cinches in the hold while he grits his teeth. The ref heads over and asks Karma if he wants to give up. But the champion refuses. He then leans forward, which lifts Envi up onto his back. Envi is quick to take advantage and wraps his legs around Karma’s waist. Karma reaches out to one set of the ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. He turns and reaches out to another set of ropes. But again, he’s nowhere near them. Karma turns and takes one step forward… then another… then another. He reaches out. But again, he’s nowhere near the ropes. Envi feels he’s got Karma on the ropes and begins nodding his head vociferously. The ref heads back over in front of Karma and asks him if he wants to give up. But Karma doesn’t respond. The ref checks in with him again and asks him if head like to give up. But Karma still doesn't respond. Suddenly, Karma’s arms drops to his side, causing the crowd to gasp and sigh. Just when it looks like Karma is out on his feet, he opens his eyes, grabs Envi’s legs, jumps up and falls back, squashing Envi on the canvas and breaking the hold! Cheers and applause are given to Karma after escaping the sleeper.

Geoff Penzer: Karma escaped! But how much did that take out of him!

Karma rolls off of Envi and over into the prone position. He rests on his forearms before pushing himself up on all fours. Meanwhile, Envi remains sprawled out on the canvas. As Karma gets up on a knee, Envi begins to stir before turning over on all fours. After both grapplers slowly return to their feet, Envi nails Karma with a knife edge chop. Karma blasts back with a knife edge chop of his own. After guarding his chest, Envi nails Karma with another knife edge chop. Karma blasts back with another knife edge chop of his own. After doubling over, Envi stands up and rocks Karma with a forearm strike. He then knocks the Undisputed Champion back with another back elbow strike… and another… and another! He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Envi returns, the crowd cheers as Karma lifts him up, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster! Karma stands on his knees and takes a few seconds to catch his breath. He then rolls across Envi and hooks the near leg for the cover.

Envi gets his shoulder up!

Geoff Penzer: Only two!

Karma picks up Envi and whips him into the ropes. When Envi returns, Karma sets up for a back body drop. Envi sees it coming, so he counters with a kick to the face that knocks Karma upright. He then turns and runs back into the ropes. When Envi returns, the crowd cheers as Karma wraps around Envi and applies another sleeper hold! Envi immediately leans forward, lifting Karma up onto his back. After grabbing a hold of Karma’s legs, Envi runs backwards before jumping backwards into the corner. The crowd boos as Envi squashes Karma in the corner, breaking the hold! Envi begins to stagger from out of the corner. Before The Chief can turn around, Karma rushes up from behind and locks him in another sleeper hold! Envi reaches out to grab the ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. He then reaches out to try and grab onto the referee’s shirt. But the ref wisely steps back and warns Envi not to grab him. Envi turns and reaches out to another set of ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. He then reaches up with both hands and grabs onto Karma’s forearm. He tries to pull Karma’s forearm from around his neck. But it’s to no avail! Envi begins to fade!! The Chief’s legs begin to collapse as Karma brings him down to a seated position!!!

Geoff Penzer: Envi’s down! It might be mere seconds until he’s down and OUT!

The ref kneels down and asks Envi if he wants to give up. But The Chief refuses. Envi reaches out and tries to grab a hold of Karma’s head. But Karma is able to shake Envi’s hands off of him. He then cinches in the hold, causing Envi to wince. The ref asks Envi if he wants to give up. Envi wags his finger at him. He then slowly begins to turn over onto a knee. After slowly getting back up to a vertical base, Envi nails Karma with several elbows to the midsection. Once the hold his broken, The Chief runs into the ropes. When he comes back, the crowd cheers as Karma knocks him down with an NYC Uppercut! He heads over and makes the cover.

Envi gets his shoulder up!

Karma pulls up Envi and nails him with three jabs before throwing out a right hook. But Envi ducks and counters with a step-up enzuigiri! After Karma drops to a knee, Envi turns and heads back into the ropes. When he returns, he knocks Karma down with a Shining Axe Kick! The boos continue as he makes the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up!

Geoff Penzer: Envi cracked Karma right across the head with that Shining Axe Kick! But it only got a count of two. We are here in front of this capacity crowd at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois! Evan Envi is taking to to the Undisputed Champion, Johnny Karma, in our main event here at Grapple Kingdom 2!

Envi picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi nails him with a Pop-up elbow strike! While Karma is dazed, Envi grabs him, turns and chucks him through the ropes and to the floor! The Chief drops down on a knee before turning his attention to the outside. He waits impatiently for the Undisputed Champion to get back to his feet. As Karma starts to pick himself up on the outside, Envi gets to his feet, turns and runs into the ropes. When Envi comes back, the crowd boos as he leaps through the ropes and knocks Karma down with a suicide European Uppercut!

Geoff Penzer: Envi wipes out Karma on the outside! He got all of that uppercut and it absolutely rocked the champion!

Both grapplers remained sprawled out on the canvas for a few seconds. While Karma remains on his back, Envi is the first to stir. The Chief slowly turns over on all fours. He then grabs Karma by the head and pulls him up back to a vertical base. He runs back towards ringside and rolls Karma back into the ring. After sliding himself back in, he picks Karma back up, heads into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. Envi slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle four more times before hanging him in the Tree of Woe. The boos continue as Envi grabs the top rope with both hands and delivers several stomps to the midsection. He then reaches down and applies a foot choke. The crowd boos Envi while the ref gives him until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Envi breaks the choke… then quickly drops to his back, rolls to the outside, grabs Karma around the chin with both hands and pulls back. The crowd boos Envi as the ref slides to the outside and gives him until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Envi reluctantly lets go. He then slides back inside and lifts Karma up before bringing him out of the Tree of Woe with a Lungblower! He makes the cover.

Karma gets his foot on the bottom rope.

Envi picks up Karma and brings him over towards the center of the ring before applying a cobra clutch. The crowd boos as Envi cinches in the hold. Karma tries to reach out to the ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. When Karma refuses, Envi throws him down with a lifting cobra clutch bomb.=! Envi make the cover.

The crowd cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up!

Envi pulls Karma up onto his knees and nails him with repeated shoot kicks to the chest. He then steps back and throws out a buzzsaw kick. But Karma ducks, jumps to his feet, grabs Envi from behind, runs, jumps over the top rope and brings him down throat-first across the top rope with Macho Karma! As Envi stumbles back, Karma climbs up onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and goes for a diving double axe handle smash. But Envi side steps, catches him on the way down, turns and throws him down with a belly to belly suplex! The boos continue as he makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up! Envi looks over at the ref and claps his hands three times. But the ref shakes his head and tells him it was only two. Envi puts his hands on his hips in frustration.

Geoff Penzer: What a counter by The Chief! But it was not enough for a three count!

Envi picks up Karma and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending him into the corner. He then runs across the ring and connects with another NYC Uppercut. Karma then turns Envi around, lifts him up and sits him down on the top turnbuckle! After Karma climbs up onto the middle ropes, Envi begins to nail him with back elbows to the face. The last of which knocks Karma down to the canvas! Karma slowly turns over into the prone position. As he pushes himself up on all fours, Envi starts to slowly get his feet on the top turnbuckle. Once Karma gets back to his feet and turns around, Envi stands up from the crouched position, flips back and brings Karma down with The Classics!

Geoff Penzer: Envi got it! He caught Karma with the moonsault! Could this be it!?

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up. Envi runs his hands through his hair in frustration.

Geoff Penzer: You can see the frustration building! But Envi can’t get discouraged! He can’t lose his composure if he wants to win the championship!

Envi picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When he comes back, Envi throws out a running clothesline. But Karma ducks and stops as Envi’s momentum takes him into the ropes. When he comes back, he sees Karma running past him into the ropes. So he slams on the brakes. When Envi turns around, the crowd boos when he knocks Karma down with the Kapowski Kick (quick spinning heel kick)! He makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up!

Envi mounts himself on top of Karma and rains own a flurry of right hands to the face. The boos continue as he gets off of Karma before delivering several stomps to the chest. Envi then reaches down, pulls up Karma, lifts him upside down, shows him off to all four sides of the crowd and then plants him with a jumping piledriver!

Geoff Penzer: He just… he just hit Karma with his own finisher!

While Karma is sprawled out on the canvas, Envi steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. He then flips off and goes for Helter Skelter (450 Splash). But Karma’s able to get his knees up at the last second. The crowd explodes with cheers as Envi comes crashing down across the knees. Envi bounces off before rolling across the ring.

Geoff Penzer: Envi crashes down hard across Karma’s ribs! He might have broken a rib!

Envi remains curled up as Karma turns over on all fours. He slowly gets up to a knee as Envi reaches over and grabs onto the ropes. He makes his way over to Envi as Envi pulls himself up using the ropes. He then grabs Envi from behind, pulls him away from the ropes, spins Envi out in front of him and throws out Hard Times (wristlock transitioning into a short-arm Bionic Elbow)! But Envi ducks the elbow. When Karma turns around, Envi dazes him with a superkick! He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Envi returns, Karma sends spittle flying out of his mouth with Check Your Chiclets! After Envi crumbles to the mat, Karma drags him into position. He then steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. The fans in attendance stand up as Karma looks up and points to the heavens. He then leaps off and crashes down across Envi with From The Stars Above (diving elbow drop)!

Geoff Penzer: Flying elbow right down onto the heart of Evan Envi!

After Envi slowly turns over into the prone position, Karma heads over and slowly pulls him up from behind.

Geoff Penzer: The fans in attendance know what’s coming next, just as I’m sure you all do at home...

After grabbing a hold of the arm, Karma spins Envi out in front of him and throws out Hard Times! But Envi ducks, floats over across Karma’s back and plants him with The Blues (scissors snap double arm DDT)!!! You could hear a pin drop for a moment as Karma’s head bounces off the mat before he rolls over onto his back.

Geoff Penzer: … THE BLUES! THE BLUES! THIS IS IT! THIS COULD BE IT RIGHT HERE! AN ELEVEN YEAR JOURNEY HAS LED TO THIS MOMENT RIGHT HERE! CAN ENVI PUT KARMA AWAY!?!?

The fans in the United Center both sit and stand in stunned shock as Envi crawls over to Karma. The arena fills up with boos as the ref slides over and makes the cover.

The ref goes to motion for the bell when he quickly pulls his arm back at the last second when he realizes that Karma got his foot on the bottom rope just before his hand slapped the mat for a third time.

Geoff Penzer: WE’VE GOT A NEW CHAM-

Envi, meanwhile, has already jumped to his feet and has headed into the corner to celebrate. Envi climbs up onto the middle ropes and raises his arms in the air while the crowd boos. However, the ref tells him to get down and waves it off. Envi demands the ref hand him the bell and raise his arm in victory. But the ref tells him that Karma got his foot on the middle rope a half second before the three count. Envi’s eyes widen with a mix of shock and anger. He shakes his head vociferously from side to side and shouts out “NO!” over and over as the ref tries to tell him that this match will continue. Envi looks over at Karma, then back over at the ref. He then grabs the ref by the collar and yanks him close to his face.

Geoff Penzer: ENVI’S LOST IT!

Envi screams at the ref until the ref swats Envi’s hands off of him. He then points a finger in Envi’s face before The Chief swats it away. He then marches across the ring and stomps the hell out of Karma! He then pulls Karma back to his feet and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Envi sets up for a back body drop. But Karma stops and goes to lift him up for Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up (jumping piledriver). The crowd explodes with cheers as Karma starts to lift him up. But Envi flutter kicks his legs, forcing Karma to lower him back down. He then counters with a standing double leg takedown before flipping over into a jackknife pin!

Karma bridges up, turns over, turns around, hooks Envi’s arms from behind and slowly brings him down with a backslide pin!

Envi slips out just in time!

As Karma gets up on his knees, Envi throws out a buzzsaw kick. But Karma ducks, pops up to his feet, grabs him from behind and tosses him over the top rope. Kama turns and walks away, thinking that Envi crashed to the outside. But Envi landed safely on the apron. When he turns around and sees this, he charges over to attack Envi. But Envi sidesteps and counters with a rope-assisted gamengiri! Karma stumbles back before collapsing onto his back. Envi’s eyes widen when he sees Karma in position. He then takes advantage and crashes across Karma with a springboard 450 Splash! The boo continue as he hooks the leg.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up. Envi repeatedly slaps the canvas out of frustration.

Geoff Penzer: ENVI THOUGHT HE HAD HIM! Envi thought he had him! So did I! How much closer can a man get!? Eleven years! Eleven years Envi has waited for this moment and Karma continues to deny him by getting his shoulder up! This has to be killing The Chief! It has to!

Envi gets to his feet, reaches down and pulls Karma back to his feet. After throwing him down with a scoop slam, Envi heads over to the ropes. The Chief steps out onto the apron, makes his way across it and begins to climb the turnbuckles. Once he reaches the top, Karma leaps over and shoves Envi’s legs out from under him. The crowd cheers as Envi winds up crotched on the top turnbuckle. While Envi howls in pain, Karma slowly gets up on his knees. After pulling himself up using the ropes, Karma climbs up onto the middle ropes. He then pulls Envi forward, wraps his arms around his waist and holds him upside down. Fans in the crowd stand up and gasp as they think they know what’s coming next. Karma them jumps backwards off the middle ropes and plants Envi with Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up to an explosion of cheers from the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: KARMA WITH A JUMPING PILEDRIVER OFF THE SECOND ROPE! DID YOU SEE ENVI’S HEAD BOUNCE OFF THE CANVAS!? ELEVEN YEARS! AN ELEVEN YEAR JOURNEY! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO CONCLUDE HERE TONIGHT WITH AN UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP WIN! BUT JOHNNY KARMA HAS JUST DASHED HIS HOPES AND DREAMS WITH DAZED, CONFUSED AND ALL MESSED UP OFF THE SECOND ROPE! HE’S GOING FOR THE COVER!!!

Applause soon follows as Karma turns over and drapes his arm across Envi’s chest for the cover.

NOOOOOOOOOO!

The crowd sighs when Envi gets his shoulder up just as the ref’s hand was about to hit the canvas for the third time.

Geoff Penzer: How was that not three!? HOW WAS THAT NOT THREE!? Envi is still showing signs of life in this main event! He is not done yet! THE CHIEF IS NOT DONE YET! MY GOODNESS!

Envi slowly turns over onto his back as Karma rolls over onto his knees. He puts his hands on his hips and shakes his head in disbelief. After he gets back to his feet, he walks over, reaches down, grabs Envi by the back of the tights and pulls him back to his feet from behind. After grabbing Envi from behind, Karma rolls him out in front of him and throws out Hard Times!

Geoff Penzer: Envi ducked!

When Karma turns around, the crowd gasps as Envi grabs him and lifts him up for a Uranage. But Karma elbows him in the side of the head of the way up. After Karma lands on his feet, he turns Envi away from him, grabs him from behind, rolls him out in front of him…

Geoff Penzer: HARD TIMES!

The crowd explodes with cheers as Envi goes down. Karma collapses down to the mat and rolls over onto his back. But he doesn’t let go of Envi’s wrist. After turning over onto his knee, he reaches over, grabs Envi by the hair with his free hand and pulls Envi back to his feet. He then yanks Envi over towards him before knocking him down with another short-arm Bionic Elbow to the face! This time, Karma drops down to all fours. But once again, he doesn’t let go of the wrist. The crowd is at a fever pitch as they stomp in unison for the Undisputed Champion. Karma looks up, looks around at the crowd and shakes his head. Karma gets back to a vertical base, reaches down with his free hand and grabs Envi by the wrist. He then groans as he struggles to pull a dazed Envi back to his feet. The crowd explodes with cheers when Karma turns Envi inside out with Hard Times for a third time!!! Karma drops down, pulls Envi over and makes the cover.

The crowd explodes with cheers as “When The Levee Breaks” blasts over the PA!

Geoff Penzer: IT’S OVER! IT’S OVER! IT’S OVER!

The ref kneels down and raises Karma’s arm in the air in victory.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner… and STIIIIILLLLLLL the FGA Undisputed Champion, JOHNNY KARMA!!!

Geoff Penzer: KARMA HAS DONE IT! JOHNNY KARMA HAS DONE IT! HE HAS DEFEATED EVAN ENVI HERE AT GRAPPLE KINGDOM 2!!! I AM LOSING MY VOICE!

Karma slowly turns over on all fours. After he returns to his feet, he stumbles backwards into the ropes. The ref hands him the FGA Undisputed Championship.

Geoff Penzer: What an excellent main event we just witness! Both of these men are warriors and they showed why they are held in such high regard! They both gave it their all! Neither man held anything back! They each gave each other their best shot! They both dug deep! But in the end, it was Johnny Karma who was able to pull away with the win! What a night! For everyone here on Flashpoint, this is Geoff Penzer signing off! We’ll see you in a few weeks on FX for the next episode of Flashpoint! Goodnight, everyone!
