Coming back from a commercial break, the cameras open up along a somewhat secluded section of hallway backstage of the FedEx Forum. Far removed from the chaos of backstage, the hallway housed a number of the trunks used for the various pieces of equipment used in putting on Flashpoint. Crouched near one of the trunks, the cameras spot the slender, familiar figure of Savannah Taylor. Dressed in black leather pants, a fitted black scoop neck tank top and black heeled boots, she is shown holding a pink and black Louisville Slugger in her hands, gently tapping it on the cement floor.

Savannah Taylor: Two weeks. Fourteen days. Three hundred thirty six hours. That is how much time has passed between last Flashpoint and now. That is how much time has passed since the new United States champion declared that she would welcome anyone who wanted to step up to the plate and challenge her for the title. That is also how much time has passed since I made my intentions crystal clear about who is the rightful first challenger. Yet over the course of those two weeks, fourteen days and three hundred thirty six hours, I have yet to hear a peep from our new champion or our illustrious General Manager either.

With a sharp intake of breath, Savannah stands up and holds the bat in her right hand, resting it over her shoulder.

Savannah Taylor: Why is that? Why is it that neither Noelle Smith nor Hadley Herrera have uttered a word about my rightful place as number one contender? Why have neither woman bothered to address the outright tragedy unfolding before their very eyes? I get that Hadley is up to her ears in dealing with the Vertigo General Manager. She is too busy with other matters that involve the other show that she is neglecting the concerns of her own roster. Hadley needs to wake the hell up and focus on Flashpoint, or else there is going to be a much bigger problem than anything relating to Brandon MacDonald. And Noelle?

Savannah shakes her head, blonde tresses falling across her shoulders.

Savannah Taylor: Noelle is too distracted by impending nuptials to even take her statement from two weeks ago seriously. If she put half as much effort into making good on her promise to make her United States title reign count and to make every defense must see television as she does her upcoming wedding to the Crown Prince of North Korea, then maybe these blatant indiscretions wouldn’t rub me the wrong way. Then again perhaps they would.

Savannah slowly walks down the hall, her heels clicking on the cement.

Savannah Taylor: You see Noe…..can I call you Noe? There are two things that I absolutely hate in life, being ignored and being kept waiting. The fact that you have pretty much ignored what I said two weeks ago about how the only one who is worthy of being your first challenger is slap in the face number one. Being looked over and blatantly ignored by the woman who has MY title? Slap in the face number two. The way that I see it, you have two strikes already and are working your way to number three.

She stops her walking and stares directly at the camera.

Savannah Taylor: everyone within the sound of my voice that if I didn’t get what was owed to me, what was rightfully mine, that I wouldn’t be held responsible for what was to come. Yet here we stand, two weeks later and I have heard nothing. Now I am going to take matters into my own hands. A wise person once told me that in order to get the attention of someone in this business, you hit them where it will hurt the most. Me and my little friend here?

She takes the bat from her shoulder and casually twirls it around.

Savannah Taylor: It’s time that we create something truly…...beauuuuutiful.

With that, her lips turn up in a smirk, her blue eyes twinkling with intent as she walks off, leaving the cameras to switch to the ringside area.

Kendall Kingham vs. Uziah Jue

“Ladies and Gentlemen” by Saliva begins to play as Uziah Jue steps from behind the curtains. He glares at the crowd while throwing up devil horns before he takes a bow and crosses his chest. He gets back on all fours and steps up to the camera beginning to talk a little smack.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Kansas City, Missouri! Weighing in at 220 pounds… UUUZIIIAAAH JUUUEE!!!

He pushes the camera out of his face and slowly begins making his way to the ring. He stops at the top of the ramp and begins talking more smack this time to the crowd. After his verbal tyrant he continues his way to the ring talking to himself with his head lowered.

He steps up the steel steps and into the ring where he pulls his wet flowing hair from out of his face. He looks around and smiles before stepping up a turnbuckle and holding up the devil horns once more. Jumping down from the turnbuckle he stands in his corner and waits for the match to begin.

The lights drop, and multi-colored ones start strobing around as "Professional Griefers" starts up to the cheers of the crowd. Kendall Kingham emerges into sight wearing her regular gear, sunglasses, and an airbrushed jacket.

Kendall bounces on the balls of her toes before making her way down the ramp, slapping a few hands along the way.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, New York… KEEEENDAAAAAL KIIIINGHAAAAAM!!!

She hops up on the apron, runs to an unoccupied corner, and climbs to the second turnbuckle.

Geoff Penzer: Kendall Kingham has come under fire recently thanks to that instigating son of a gun, Mark Storm! He’s been adamant about calling Kingham out for being a hypocrite, paying off Brookford and letting him attack Sage Clark! Kingham has continued to state that she did no such thing. But Storm has continued to push the issue!

Raising a fist to a pop from the crowd, she slingshots herself inside. While Kingham goes to remove her jacket and glasses as the lights come back on, the crowd boos when Jue runs over and knocks Kingham down from behind with a clothesline. The bell sounds as Jue puts the boots to her.

Geoff Penzer: Jue didn’t even give Kingham a chance to take off her entrance attire!

Jue reaches down and yanks off Kingham’s jacket before throwing it to the outside. He then picks up Kingham by the hair, marches into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Kingham around, Jue nearly drives the air out of her with repeated shoulder thrusts in the corner. Kingham is then taken by the wrist before being sent into the opposite corner with an irish whip to attack. Jue runs across the ring to attack when Kingham goes to counter with a boot to the face. But Jue stops and catches her foot. The crowd boos when Jue taunts Kingham. But the boos turn to cheers when Kingham raises her free leg and uses it to kick Jue square in the face. She then turns away from Jue before connecting with a springboard European Uppercut! Jue is knocked back a few steps. While he shakes off the blow, Kingham runs into the near ropes. When she comes back, Jue grabs her by the back of the neck, runs and tosses her over the top rope. The crowd boos as he turns and raises his arms in the air. The boos then turns to cheers when Kingham pulls herself up on the apron. Jue turns around and sees Kingham. So he runs across the ring to attack. Kingham then takes advantage of ehr positioning and tackles him down with a slingshot spear! She makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Kingham gets back into the ring with a spear. But it only gets two!

Kingham picks up Jue and delivers an arm wrench. Jue is quick to reach over, grab Kingham and send her flipping back to the canvas with a hard arm wrench. He then follows up with an elbow drop. But Kingham rolls out of the way, causing his elbow to hit the canvas. As Jue gets back to his feet, the crowd cheers as Kingham reaches over and delivers an arm wrench. After a second arm wrench, Kingham takes Jue and goes for an irish whip. But Jue reverses, sending her into the ropes. When she returns, she sees Jue setting up for a back body drop. So Kingham stops, takes him by the arm and delivers a single arm DDT!

Geoff Penzer: Jue left himself open and Kingham made sure he paid for that mistake!

After Jue gets back up and turns around, Kingham delivers a double knee armbreaker, sending Jue staggering over into the ropes. Kingham then comes up from behind and connects with a Brazilian Kick to the back of the head! So Jue staggers back, Kingham goes for a hammerlock back suplex. But she can’t lift him up. Jue then spins out of the move and doubles her over with a knee to the midsection. The boos continue as Jue takes Kingham and whips her into the corner. Jue then charges into the corner to attack. But Kingham rolls out of the way, causing Jue to crash into the turnbuckles! As Jue stumbles back, Kingham grabs him from behind and brings him down with a ¾ facelock russian leg sweep! The cheers continue as she makes the cover.

Jue gets his good shoulder up.

Kingham picks up Jue, wrenches his arm and goes for an irish whip. But Jue reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Kingham returns, Jue goes for a back body drop. This time, Kingham slips down from behind. She then spins Jue towards her and throws out the Samoan Spike! But Jue swats it away with his good arm and lunges forward, cracking her with a headbutt! The boos continue as Jue takes Kingham and whips her into the corner. Jue rushes into the corner to attack. But Kingham catches him with a European Uppercut! She then hoists herself up onto the middle ropes, grabs Jue by the arm swings out of the corner and brings him down with a Tornado Single Arm DDT! The cheers continue as Kingham transitions over into The Tombs (grounded top wristlock). The ref gets in front of Jue and asks him if he wants to give up. But Jue shakes his head no.

Geoff Penzer: Kingham has got Jue trapped in The Tombs! He’s trying to fight through the pain!

Kingham continues to fight for the submission while Jue groans. The ref asks Jue if he wants to give up but again, Jue refuses. So Kingham pulls back, increasing the pressure of the hold! Jue howls in pain before shaking his head ‘yes’. The ref quickly calls for the bell.

The crowd cheers when “Professional Griefers” plays over the PA !

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, KENDALL KINGHAM!

The cheers continue as Kingham gets her arm raised in victory.

Geoff Penzer: Kendall Kingham picks up another win here in The Flashpoint Zone, as she affectionately calls it! I don’t know what Storm’s angle is. But I can guarantee you that Kingham won’t take this lying down!

[FGA Office]

The show cuts backstage, to where one half of the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad, Peaches, is pacing back and forth frantically outside the medical office. One hand running through her hair, she doesn’t look best pleased with everything’s happened thus far this evening.

Peaches: That’s how y’all wanna play this?!

She asks, indignant at earlier events.

Peaches: First y’all wanna screw us outta matches. Qiang! Interferin’ at Grapple Kingdom was one thing, an’ we wasn’t ‘bout to let that slide…

Peaches flails her arms around above her head, if only for a moment before trying to recompose herself. Her chest is heaving with each breath as she looks over her shoulder towards the door where, presumably, Dan is busy being treated for the cuts he sustained in the attack.

Peaches: …but now you wanna scuffle? Now you wanna bust Dan open? Now you wanna try an’ piss us off even more?!

Peaches gets a serious look on her face as she pauses for moment.

Peaches: That ain’t a good idea, boys.

She shakes her head.

Peaches: An’ you ain’t getting’ away with it. So here’s what you’ve gotta do. Next Flashpoint we’re gonna step into that ring. Me versus Qiang, an’ Dan versus Liam in singles action. See how y’all do when you ain’t got back up!

With that, Peaches pushes open the door to the medical office. Sure enough, we get a brief glimpse of Dan Herrera sitting there getting sutured, before the show cuts back to ringside.

Amanda Johnson: Ladies and Gentlemen -

A finger is up in the air.

And you know who it is immediately.

Boo’s begin to echo as the frame opens up again and standing there, for the second time in the night is Your Hero and Mine. He’s now in his ring gear though as oppose to his fancy suit but nevertheless, he has the same smug look on his face that makes you want to smack him into next week. He smirks arrogantly, lowering his finger and allowing an agitated Amanda Johnson to continue. She clears her throat, nodding her head before opening her mouth.

Amanda Johnson: I’m here with Your Hero and Mine who earlier tonight accused Kendall Kingham of paying off BROOKFORD to stay away from her match with Sage Clark almost a month ago now, only to allow BROOKFORD to have his way with Sage after the match was done and dusted. You told me earlier tonight that you’d be able to shed some light into the accusation with some evidence to your claim?

Mark Storm: I told you that I’d be able to bring you to the source, Amanda. If you’re gonna quote me, then do it properly, please. But yes, I’ve got evidence. And yes, I can tell you now that Kendall Kingham isn’t the saint that she supposedly is. She isn’t the goodytooshoes that she’s been pretending to be. She is, and always has been, a honeytrap, one that allowed poor Sage Clark to get the sh*t kicked out of him with no help. Ladies and Gentlemen, BROOKFORD.

Stepping into the frame is none other than BROOKFORD and more boo’s echo from the main arena as he stands by the side of Mark Storm who places a hand on his shoulder.

BROOKFORD: Get your hand off me!

Storm looks at him with a face that says, “yikes”.

Amanda Johnson: BROOKFORD, can you confirm what Mr. Storm is saying?

BROOKFORD rolls his eyes.

BROOKFORD: Alright. Fine. Yes, what Mark is saying is accurate. I don’t blame Kendall for paying me off. She knew I wanted a piece of Sage. She knew if she tried to play the good upstanding hero I was gonna break her face too. So she came to me. Won’t discuss how much was exchanged. It was reasonable. She put money down for me to stay clear of the match with a promise she wouldn’t get involved when I handled my business.

Amanda Johnson: This can’t be true!

BROOKFORD: Open up your pretty little eyes! This is the world we live in. I don’t blame Kendall for not wanting a piece of this. She lived to fight another day. Smart play in my book. As you saw earlier, wrestlers are now lining up around the block for my services. Sage was the first to get got. Sullivan was the next domino. At the Gold Rush Rumble, if there is anyone else who wants a piece of my services, holla at me. Now that I cleared all that up, I’m done.

BROOKFORD storms off. Mark looks satisfied that the truth has finally come out. Amanda is still in shock.

Amanda Johnson: I am at a lost for words.

Mark Storm: Don’t be. You heard it from the man himself. Kendall is a fraud, a hypocrite. I proved it. Now Kendall is exposed. She is no hero. I am. I’m your hero.

Before Amanda can ask another question Mark walks out as the scene fades.

"Short Change Hero" by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;

YOUR HERO, AND MINE

Boo's echo through the arena as Mark Storm emerges from the mist of smoke, chewing gum calmly as he takes off his shades and stares down at the ring. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the jeers of the audience.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and it is for the FGA 15 CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger! From New York, Brooklyn! Weighing in at 225 pounds! He is Your Hero, and Mine.. MARRKKKK STORMMMMMM!!!

He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp.

This ain't no place for no hero.  
This ain't no place for no better man.  
This ain't no place for no hero  
To call "home."

At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the boo's coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring.

Taking off his leather coat, he hands it to the ring announcer before walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.

Geoff Penzer: Mark Storm has been running around here all night trying to continue this false narrative that Kendall Kingham paid off Brookford and let him attack Sage Clark. I’m not buying it, Amanda Johnson isn’t buying it and neither do these people. I have no idea what Storm’s trying to accomplish by continuing to push this lie. But he better have his head in the game because he’s got a championship match up next!

Dark Horses by Switchfoot starts to play as the guitar intro hammers out into the arena. Brian Stryker walks out from behind the curtain, his hood up, title belt around his neck. Brian walks to the center of the stage. He gets down on one knee and runs his hand over the floor of the stage. He rises to his feet and throws his hood back, grabbing his title as he holds it above his head..

"Born for the blue skies
We’ll survive the rain
Born for the sunrise
We’ll survive the pain"

He walks down the ramp, not taking his eyes off the ring. When he gets to the steel steps, he walks up them and climbs the turnbuckle to the top. He looks out to the crowd before holding out his title as the crowd sings the chorus.

"We’re singing…
Hey, you can’t count us out
We’ve been running up against the crowd
Yeah, we are the dark horses
We’re singing…
Wait! It’s not over now
We’ve been down but we’ve never been out
Yeah, we are the dark horses"

Stryker sits himself on the top turnbuckle as he looks down at his title and kisses the front plate before handing it to the ref.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Maui, Hawaii! Weighing in at 215 pounds! He is the reignings and defending FGA 15 Champion, BRIIIIIIAAAAAN STRYYYYYYYKER!!!

Geoff Penzer: Brian Stryker became 15 Champion again at Grapple Kingdom 2 when he defeated Neon to win back the championship! After a successful defense against Neon in a rematch two weeks ago, Stryker looks to continue his “quest to greatness” here tonight against Storm. But Storm is a formidable opponent. He’s yet to hold gold here in FGA. We all heard it from the horse’s mouth earlier tonight. Storm said he would do anything to win and rise to the top of FGA. While I don’t believe him when he says that Kingham paid off Brookford, I 100 percent believe him when he says he’ll do anything and everything to win,

The bell sounds as Stryker and Storm circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Storm places Stryker in a side headlock. After a bit of maneuvering, Stryker slips out and reverses into a hammerlock from behind. He then spins Storm over towards him before throwing him down with a side headlock takeover. Storm then quickly reverses into a headscissors before Stryker escapes with a kip up. After Storm scrambles back to a vertical base, he rushes over to attack Stryker. But Stryker yanks him down with a leg trip and quickly drops down into a lateral press.

After Storm scrambles back to a vertical base, Stryker places him in a side headlock. Storm gives him a few shots to the ribs before shoving him off into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Storm throws him down with a japanese arm drag. Stryker returns to his feet and then gets returned to the mat with another japanese arm drag. After Stryker gets back to his feet, Storm takes control of the wrist and applies an arm wrench. Stryker winces when Storm delivers another another arm wrench. The ref asks the champion if he wants to give up. But Stryker refuses. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, reverses into an arm wrench of his own and follows up with a release northern lights suplex! Stryker then picks up Storm and goes for an irish whip. But Storm reverses, sending Stryker into the ropes. When Stryker returns, he brings Storm down with a running hurricanrana! After Storm gets back to his feet and turns around, he turns into a running dropkick from Stryker, which knocks him through the ropes and onto the apron. While Storm pulls himself up using the ropes, Stryker rushes over towards the corner and goes for a triangle dropkick. But Storm ducks the dropkick. After Stryker gets back to a vertical base, Storm doubles him over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. Storm grabs a hold of Stryker and goes for a suplex to the floor. But Stryker blocks the move. So Storm goes to muscle him up for another suplex out to the floor. The crowd gasps when gets Stryker halfway up before Stryker kicks his legs, forcing himself back down. He then grabs Storm and goes to bring him back inside with a vertical suplex. But Storm slips down from behind and reverses into an O’Connor Roll.

Stryker uses his leg strength to kick out, sending Storm into the ropes. When Storm returns, Stryker sends him soaring through the air with a grounded monkey flip1 After Storm lands on his back, he turns over and gets back to his feet and sees Stryker rushing towards him. So Storm ducks and dumps Stryker over the top rope. After Stryker lands safely on the apron, Storm catches him with a pelé kick that sends him to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: Storm caught Stryker with that a pelé that knocks him to the floor. Now it looks like Storm is setting up for something to the outside...

While Stryker picks himself up on the outside, Storm rushes across the ring and connects with a corner slingshot into a springboard moonsault! The crowd boos while Storm gets back to his feet.

Geoff Penzer: Storm takes out Stryker with a triangle moonsault to the outside!

Storm picks up Stryker and rolls him back inside. He then slides back in and makes the cover.

Storm picks up Stryker, moves him into the corner and nails him with knife edge chops. He then takes Stryker and goes for an irish whip. But Stryker reverses, sending Storm across the ring into the corner. Stryker rushes over to attack. But Storm catches him with a back elbow to the face. Storm then turns away from Stryker and springboards onto the middle ropes. Before Storm can flip back with a moonsault into an inverted sitout DDT, the crowd cheers when Stryker connects with a dropkick to the back, sending Storm tumbling over the top rope and to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: Stryker had that move well scouted. Now let’s see is the 15 Champion takes it to the air...

Stryker heads into the opposite corner. While Storm starts to pick himself up on the outside, the crowd cheers when Stryker runs across the ring, springboards onto the top turnbuckle, flips off and knocks Storm down with a Shooting Star Splash!

Geoff Penzer: The high risk pays off as Stryker wipe out Storm on the outside!

Stryker picks up Storm and rolls him back inside. He then rolls back in and makes the cover.

Stryker picks up Storm and connects with the the First Stryke (arm wrench/hook kick combo), sending Storm stumbling backwards into the corner, Stryker then runs over and connects with a clothesline. The 15 Champion follows up with a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then moves Storm from out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Storm returns, Stryker sets up for a back body drop. Storm sees it coming, so he goes to counter with a sunset flip. But Stryker rolls through it before following up with a dropkick to the face! The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Stryker picks up Storm and whips him into the ropes. When Storm returns, Stryker goes for a hip toss. But Storm steps through it, follows up with a hip toss of his own, cartwheels over, claps his hands and follows up with a dropkick to the face. The boos continue as he makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Storm gives Stryker a taste of his own medicine. But it only gets two. With this match only having a 15 minute time limit, time is of the essence, hence the number of nearfalls already.

Storm picks up Stryker and nails him with an elbow strike to the face. He then whips the champ into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Storm dives over into the prone position to try and trip him up. But Stryker hops over him before running into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Storm gets back up and leapfrogs over him. Stryker continues to run the ropes. When Stryker returns, Storm knocks him down with a running dropkick. He makes the cover.

Storm picks up Stryker and whips him into the ropes. When Storm returns, Stryker sets up for a back body drop. But Stryker counters with a kick to the shoulder. He then turns and runs back into the ropes. When Stryker comes back, Storm brings him down with a flapjack before transitioning into a kneeling ankle lock. The crowd boos as Stryker howls in pain. The ref gets down and asks Stryker if he wants to give up. When Stryker refuses, Storm tries to snap the ankle.

Geoff Penzer: Storm is fighting for the submission! If he can’t get the submission, he’ll take injuring the ankle, which would no doubt hamper the offense of the co-winner of the 2017 Best High Flyer Award!

The crowd boos Storm while he continues to crank away on the ankle. The ref asks Stryker if he wants to give up. Stryker shakes his head ‘no’. He then pushes himself up onto his arms before rolling forward, sending Storm face-first into the top turnbuckle. As Storm stumbles back, Stryker brings him down with the Overdose (straight jacket Shiranui)! The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Storm gets his shoulder up.

Stryker picks up Storm, grabs him from behind and goes for a German Suplex. But Storm blocks the move. So Stryker tries to muscle him up for another German. Stryker gets Storm halfway up when Storm starts kicking his legs, forcing Stryker to lower him back down. He then nails Stryker with three back elbows to the face. After a standing switch, Stryker goes for a German Suplex of his own when Stryker reverses into a wheelbarrow victory roll!

After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, Storm nails Stryker with a right hand. Stryker strikes back with a punch of his own. Storm then nails Stryker with another right hand. Stryker strikes back with another punch of his own. Storm then unleashes a flurry of strikes followed by a spinning back kick that doubles Stryker over. He then hoists Stryker up, walks around the ring, lifts Stryker up even higher and throws him down with a sitout gutwrench powerbomb! The crowd boos Storm while the ref slides over for the count.

Geoff Penzer: How did Stryker get his shoulder up?

Storm picks up Stryker and lifts him back up for a standard powerbomb. Once Stryker gets up on Storm’s shoulders, Stryker hits him with several punches to the top of the head before reversing into a hurricanrana! Stryker picks up Storm and goes for an irish whip. But Storm reverses, sending Stryker into the corner. Storm then runs over to attack when Stryker catches him with a back elbow to the face. While Storm is dazed, Stryker turns towards the turnbuckles, springboards to the top turnbuckle and knocks him down with a corkscrew moonsault! The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Stryker steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. Once Storm gets back to his feet and turns around, the crowd cheers when Stryker leaps off and brings him down with a diving crossbody!

Stryker picks up Storm, takes his arm and goes for an arm wrench. As soon as Stryker turns around, Storm rocks him with a punch to the jaw. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Storm returns, Stryker knocks him down to a knee after a dropkick to the leg. Stryker then follows up with a front dropkick to the face. While Storm is sprawled out on the canvas, the 15 Champion heads into the ropes. When Stryker returns, the crowd cheers when he connects with a running Shooting Star Splash!

The crowd cheers when Stryker picks up Storm, lifts him up and delivers the Freak Accident (pumphandle neckbreaker lift into a cutter)!He makes the cover.

Storm gets his shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: Again, Storm gets his shoulder up! But it’s just a tad bit slower! Storm is wearing him down! Stryker is breaking down! Stryker can smell blood in the water!

Stryker picks up Storm and whips him into the corner. He then runs across the ring, connects with a corner elbow and follows up with a CCS Enzuigiri! While Storm is dazed, Stryker turns him around, lifts him up and sits him down on the top turnbuckle facing away from the ring. After climbing up onto the ropes, Stryker grabs Storm from behind and heaves him down towards the canvas with a Spider Suplex. The crowd cheers upon seeing Storm folded up. Your Hero and Mine slowly rolls over onto his back. While Storm is sprawled out on the canvas, Storm sits back up on the top turnbuckle before getting up to his feet. Storm turns around, stands up from the crouched position, flips off and goes for the Air Stryke (Shooting Star Press). But Strm gets his knees up at the last second, causing Stryker to crash down hard across them. The block from Storm is met with gasps and boos from the crowd.

Geoff Penzer: Storm got his knees up! Mark Storm got his knees up at the last second! He was a half second away from getting hit with the Air Stryke and more than likely losing this matchup! Stryker’s gotta be hurting real bad right here!

Stryker bounces off of Storm’s knees before rolling over across the ring. Stryker stays curled up on the mat while Stryker slowly picks himself back up. While Stryker turns over on all fours, Storm heads over, deadlifts him off the canvas and delivers a German Suplex! He then rolls over, pulls Stryker back up and delivers a second German Suplex!! Storm rolls over, pulls Stryker back up and delivers a third German Suplex!!! The boos continue as Storm rolls over, pulls Stryker back up and delivers a fourth German Suplex!!! Storm rolls over, pulls Stryker back up, lifts him up and slams him down with a sitout face slam! The boos continue as he then turns over and hooks the leg.

Geoff Penzer: Four rolling Germans, followed by a Face Mat Slam! That’s gotta be it! We’ve gotta have a new champion right here...

Geoff Penzer: Stryker got his shoulder up! He got the shoulder up! He was just given four Rolling Germans! His face was then driven into the canvas at high speed and he gets his shoulder up! What fight we’re seeing from the 15 Champion!

Storm picks up Stryker and nails him with three elbow strikes to the face. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he throws out a lariat. But Stryker ducks and runs towards the ropes. When Storm turns around, he lifts up Stryker, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster! He rolls across Stryker and hooks the leg.

Geoff Penzer: Stryker escaped again! He escaped another sure three count! Stryker traded in the 15 Championship, just to get screwed out of a Pride Championship match! He’s not about to give up the title again! Not while there’s still life left in him!

Storm picks up Stryker, delivers an irish whip, follows him into the corner and connects with a rolling kick that sends Stryker slumping down. Storm then drags him back towards the center of the ring before pulling him back up. He then lifts Stryker up onto his shoulders. The crowd crowd gasps when Strorm hoists him up high in the air and throws him down with an elevated sitout powerbomb!

The crowd gasps, then explodes with cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up! Storm looks around before shaking his head in disbelief.

Geoff Penzer: I can’t believe it either! Brian Stryker continues to deny Storm the 15 Championship! What a fighter Stryker is! Man oh man!

Storm picks up Stryker and nails him with alternating palm strikes, followed by alternating forearm strikes, followed by a shoot kick to the leg, followed by a spinning backfist. He then throws out the discus clothesline to complete the Impending Storm. But Stryker ducks and counters with Stryke 2 (leg-hook Saito Suplex) to an explosion of cheers from the crowd!

With both grapplers are down, the ref starts his count.

After both grapplers return to their feet, Storm nails Stryker with a right hand. Stryker comes back with a punch of his own. Storm then nails Stryker with another right hand. Stryker comes back with another punch of his own. Storm then throws out another punch when Stryker swats it away and counters with a bicycle knee strike that catches Storm right underneath the chin! Storm drops down to his knees while Stryker turns and runs into the far ropes. When Stryker returns, he rams Storm face-first onto the canvas with a spiking hurricanrana! After dragging Storm into position, Stryker points to the top turnbuckle. The crowd collectively explodes with cheers while members of the crowd immediately stand up as they know what he’s calling for. The cheers continue as Stryker steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. After Stryker climbs up to the top turnbuckle, the crowd explodes with cheers when he flips off and crashes on top of Storm with the Air Stryke!!! After bouncing off of Storm, Stryker turns over and guards his midsection. He then pulls himself back over and makes the cover.

Qiang Chen hopes onto the apron to distract the referee.

Geoff Penzer: Qiang Chen!? Get him out of here referee!

The boos continue while Chen distracts the official. Stryker gets up and sees The Golden Bull on the apron. So he runs into the corner and connects with a triangle dropkick, knocking Chen off the apron and to the floor!

Geoff Penzer: There you go Stry- of what the heck is this now!?

When Stryker gets back up, he sees Liam Richardson III climb over the guardrail and hop onto the apron on the other side of the ring. So Stryker rushes across the ring and blasts him with a running forearm strike! After Richardson falls to the floor, Stryker takes a few steps back. When he turns around, the crowd gasps when Storm scoops him upside down...

Geoff Penzer: Oh no! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO…

… before planting him with a jumping Tombstone Piledriver!

Geoff Penzer: Not like this! Not like this...

The boos continue as Storm slowly peels Stryker off the mat by the hair. Once Storm’s got Stryker back to his feet, he lifts Stryker up across his shoulders before nailing him with the Dystopia (Go To Sleep)! Storm drops down and makes the cover.

“Short Change Hero” blares throughout the arena while the crowd erutps with boos.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and neeeeeeewwwwww FGA 15 Champion, MARK STORM!!!

The boos continue when Storm rips the 15 Championship out of the referee’s hands before raising it high above his head.

Geoff Penzer: Mark Storm has just stolen the 15 Championship from Brian Stryker! Stryker had this match won! He had his championship retained! Then Storm’s fellow Dogs of War made their presence known and provided a timely distracted for Storm! This might be worse than Stryker getting screwed out of his Pride Championship shot!

Storm heads to the outside and celebrates the win with Richardson and Chen. Richardson puts the 15 Championship around Storm’s waist before The Golden Bull lifts Storm up onto his shoulders. The Dogs of War continue to celebrate while the crowd continues to boo.

[FGA Office]

Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, with me at this time is one half of tonight's main event, Chandler Scott.

The crowd roars with cheers when Chandler Scott makes his way into the picture. Missing is his usual smile. Instead, an annoyed expression is present with the DNA of FGA.

Amanda Johnson: Chandler, welcome. I don't think words can even describe how you must still be feeling after what happened in the main event of the last Flashpoint.

Chandler scoffs at the notion. He shakes his head at the interviewer.

Chandler Scott: You see, Amanda, that's where you're wrong. I can put into words exactly how I was feeling. I was pissed off! I'm still pissed off! What happened was nothing but BS! This main event tonight? It shouldn't be happening here tonight. Instead it should be happening at Only the Strong Survive with the Undisputed Championship on the line!

The Memphis crowd cheers.

Chandler Scott: On Episode 16, I dropped Envi right on his big dumb head! He was out. The referee could have counted to three or thirty. The man was out cold. But then I did one even better. I had Envi in the Scott Lock. You all saw him screaming in agony. You all saw him tapping that canvas. I had the man beat one two three. I had the man tap out. What more could you want? What more could you ask for? I already knew that I was a better wrestler than Envi. All I did last time out was prove it to him and to the whole world. But while I was out proving myself as the better wrestler, Envi was out here reaffirming how much of a snake in the grass he is by having that bastard Ricky Valero hit me in the the head with a steel chair!

The crowd boos the mention of Valero's name. Even from all the way in the back, Chandler and Amanda can hear the boos. Chandler nods in agreement with the boos.

Chandler Scott: Yeah, he's a real piece of work...

Chandler snaps his fingers.

Chandler Scott: Just like that, Amanda, my hopes, my dreams, my opportunity at facing Johnny Karma for the Undisputed Championship was lost. In the record books, it will always say that Evan Envi beat Chandler Scott on that night. But you, Amanda, you're a smart woman. These people in the crowd? The good viewers at home? They're pretty smart, too. And they all know the same thing that I know, Envi. You're not better than Chandler Scott. You're just a coward.

The crowd roars with cheers.

Chandler Scott: Unlike that other show, thankfully here on Flashpoint, we have a competent General Manager who knows how to do her job correctly. And that's what Hadley did my making this main event. It's a second chance opportunity for yours truly. If I win, I'm in. If I win, I get added to that championship match at Only the Strong Survive, thus making it a three way. And that's bad news for you, Envi. Because all you've done for the past 14 days is mock me. All you've done is taunt and troll. Envi, you can take your gift baskets, your potluck and you can shove it! I don't want your gifts. I don't want your apologies. I want you in that ring and I will get it at Only the Strong Survive!

The crowd roars with cheers as Chandler points his finger right at the camera.

Chandler Scott: But you want to know who else this is bad news for, Amanda? Hmm? It's also bad news for you, champ. Because by me being added into that Undisputed Championship match, your percentage of winning drops from 50 to 33. By me being added into that match, you lose your champion's advantage. You don't even have to be pinned or submitted to lose your title. But trust me when I tell you, Karma, I will go out of my way to make sure that you're the one that I pin or make tap out to become a three time, three time, THREE TIME CHAMPION!

The crowd roars with a "YES! YES! YES!" chant.

Chandler Scott: But we're getting a little ahead of ourselves, aren't we, Amanda? I have to beat Karma first to even get added into that match. And I get it, Karma. I get it. You're probably looking at me with a raised brow. A confused look on your face. You're probably even mumbling something in Yiddish for all I know. The fact is that the last few times you and I have been face to face in this ring? You've beaten me. You've gotten the better of me. Non-title matches, title matches, Rumbles... they've all gone to you. And as much as I'd love to deny those things happening, I can't. I have to accept the fact that you've upped your game. I've got to accept the fact that you now have the number of the man who used to have your number. I accept it, Karma. But I'm not going to live with it. Not for any longer because the trend stops right here tonight in Memphis, Tennessee! Tonight, Karma, I get you out of my head and tonight, I put doubt in your head when I beat you in the middle of that ring.

The crowd roars with cheers again.

Chandler Scott: And as for you, Ricky Valero?

The crowd boos the hell out of Valero.

Chandler Scott: Tell me... once you're through washing Envi's drawers, carrying his bags and doing his dirty work for him... you know he's going to dump you just like he did Neon, right? Y-you... you do know that right?

A smirk.

Chandler Scott: You can smile, laugh and clown about all you want. But trust me, Rick. You're insecurities? You're jealousy of me? It's going to get you your ass kicked by me... for the umpteenth time! Some people would have learned their lesson by now. Some people would have smartened up. But not you. Not Tricky Ricky. Heh. They say that the definition of insanity is doing something over and over and expecting a different result. Yet here you are, tugging at my leg again like I won't take this hand and smack the hell out of you! So enjoy all of this while you still can. Because when I catch you? When I wrap my hands around your neck? It's Game Over. Just like it'll be Game Over for Johnny Karma here tonight. Just like it'll be Game Over for Karma AND Envi at Only the Strong Survive! The crowd pipes in with "REIGNS SUPREME!" before roaring with cheers. Chandler then turns to Amanda and smirks before walking off.

Amanda Johnson: I think he's ready for tonight's main event, guys! Karma versus Scott is still to come...

Once again sitting alone in his locker room, but this time without the benefit of a Skype call to keep him company, Johnny Karma finds himself with only one person to speak to right now: you, the viewer, through the camera that's placed in front of him in his locker room

Yet as he speaks, there’s the hint of weariness in Karma’s voice, for reasons that soon become clear

Johnny Karma: So…yeah, there’s a question I’ve heard a thousand times for the past couple of weeks and it’s the one about where I was for the last Flashpoint.  Some people had theories about where I was, saying I picked up an injury and the company were keeping it under wraps so they could go on as normal, others saying I’d simply missed a flight, and one particularly aggressive subscription beggar implied that I’d quit the company and taken the belt with me.  You know, this belt…

Karma matter-of-factly holds up the Undisputed Championship title belt that is sat on the bench next to him to demonstrate it’s still firmly within the confined of Frontier Wrestling Arts and he hasn’t jumped ship to any other navy

Johnny Karma: The fact is that I needed some time off to get my head straight.  Now I’m sure there’s a few people who’ll likely say I have plenty of time off as it is so there’s no reason for me to complain, but here’s what they’re missing: between the flights and the connections from one place to the other, rehabbing the bumps and the bruises, hitting the gym to stay in condition, there’s a lot less time that I have to myself than you’d think, and let’s look back on the past few weeks shall we?  Not only did I see somebody very close to me assaulted for no rational reason other than to make some sort of point, I found myself losing control and got to the point where I was willing to ignore simply winning my match and instead beating my opponent within an inch of their life.  If anyone goes out and acts like that and looks at themselves in the mirror the following morning and says “Yeah, I’m fine”, that’s the point where it’s clear they need a break.  So that’s why I took the week off, because if I didn’t have a little time to decompress the druk would have driven me off the edge, honking La Cucaracha as it went.

Taking a deep, cleansing breath, Karma continues

Johnny Karma: But now I’m back, having taken that time to get my head straight and realise there’s more to life than kicking Evan Envi’s tuches into the middle of next year, I can focus on being the one thing I always wanted to be and still can’t quite believe is what I am: champion.  Because tonight’s the night where I get to do just that, where I get to go out there and wrestle a match where I’m focused on doing my very best and proving myself once again, and let’s not forget it was six months ago…man, six months already?  Feels like it was just yesterday…

Karma pauses for just a moment to collect himself, before he picks up where he tailed off

Johnny Karma: Let’s not forget that it was six months ago where I was stepping into a Flashpoint ring for the very first time as champion and proving I had what it took against tonight’s opponent Chandler Scott.  Now I remember that match well, not least because I had a pair of General Managers watching on – and of course there was a short trip to vertigo and a match with Dom Harter lined up for the winner, so I’m sure the graphics guy enjoyed having to knock up images for both potential matches – but while I was finding my feet as champion back then, now I’m having to find them once more after being dragged into the match that Evan Envi wanted, and he almost got what he was planning all along.

Once again Karma pauses, this time because he knows he’s going to shift the tone a little bit

Johnny Karma: Now I’m fully aware Evan Envi’s coming back for another shot at me, so acting as if I can wash my hands of him isn’t something I can do, and while it’s tempting to make a comment about what Ricky Valero’s role was in helping Envi achieve that the fact remains that Valero’s not going to be part of this match…at least in theory.  So here’s the plan I’ve got: since he was so desperate to do whatever it took to drag me into the match he thought he would win, I’d say he owes me the match I want to have, one where he actually carries himself like somebody who can call themselves a potential champion rather than act like a complete amoretz and claim innocence because they want to play let’s pretend with the Undisputed Championship.  That’s the difference between me and Envi: I earned this title, he thinks he’s entitled to it, and if I have to teach him a second time that he’s wrong then that’s what’s going to happen – but on my terms, not his.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is a grudge match scheduled for one fall!

Neon’s music hits and the bass echoes around the arena fusing with a sea of boos from the audience and she glides with decorum laced arrogance acknowledging the crowd around her with glacial eyes and a sinister smile. She raises both her arms so they hang level with her shoulders and the white lights begin to flicker heavily as she lingers for a brief moment.

Melanie Sierra: Introducing first…

The lights suspend again and Neon makes her way down the ramp, painted with the same expression she arrived into the arena with, fixating her gaze solely on the ring, remaining ignorant to the fans around her that send floods of jeers her way. She takes her hoop earrings off as she is walking down and throws them to the floor casually.

Melanie Sierra: ...on her way to the ring, hailing from Milan, Italy, she is “The Queen of Mean”, NEEEEEEOOON!

She runs towards the closest set of steel steps, peeling her mink off of her before motioning to the camera to come closer as she travels the apron, tossing it over it as it begins to get closer forcing it to jump to another on the other side of the ring which is witness to her slowly entering the ring. She walks to the centre and the lights begin to quiver again as she raises her arms in identical fashion to that on the ramp as the audience’s boos only strengthen in sound.

Geoff Penzer: Neon was treated like dirt last week. She was hurt. She was cast aside. Tonight is about more than our headline match. Tonight is about retribution, ladies and gentlemen.

The lights pulsate finally until they rest on a solid white and Neon walks slowly backwards into her corner, widening her smile and toying with her hair in her hands…

Melanie Sierra: And introducing her opponent…

“Amazing” by Kanye West hits, lifting the fans to their feet in a fit of rage. White and pink strobe lights start to flash throughout the arena.

Geoff Penzer: Neon is fuming, ready to get her hands on Ricky Valero-- the man that she believes got in Evan Envi’s ear and convinced him to abandon Camp Envi. When I tried to get some words out of Neon earlier today, she was short. She was cold. But she told me that she doesn’t need Evan Envi. At the same time though, the Queen of Mean was blatantly disrespected and now she has a chip on her shoulder. However… where is Ricky Valero?

Neon walks up to the referee, questioning him as Valero’s music begins to play but the referee throws his hands up, clearly at a loss. Boos rain down from all ends of the audience however as the spotlight drifts toward the ramp, revealing Evan Envi. Envi walks down the ramp with a microphone in hand.

Evan Envi: Hey. Hey, Ne-- wait. Listen up. Hold up.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Slowly, Envi climbs the steps. Neon tenses up in the center of the ring, a glare fixed on Envi. Envi places one foot over the middle rope, halfway in the ring while he speaks.

Evan Envi: Don’t attack me again, please. I get it. How things ended two weeks ago? That wasn’t right. You deserved better than that. I let my emotions get carried away and I think… some things were said that you deserve an explanation for.

He ignores the boos as he cautiously steps into the ring. Neon remain where she is, feet planted. Envi moves toward her with a hand raised, as if in defense.

Evan Envi: It’s not that I don’t believe in you. You’re a great wrestler. I’m sure Camp Envi could’ve gone onto win the Tag Team Championships. I would’ve defeated Johnny Karma to become the Undisputed Champion. You would’ve been the 15 Champion or the United States Champion-- or both! We could’ve had it all, Neon, but…

He shakes his head, gesturing toward her. Neon takes a step forward, eyes burning with rage as Evan continues to speak. Envi backs himself into the corner of the ring and raises his free hand again.

Evan Envi: But you got comfortable, Neon! You know that. You did. You got comfortable. You were in my business and it wasn’t even benefitting me anymore, but it kept you afloat. It kept you in main events. Me. My personal business is the reason your name was on everybody’s tongue, Neon. You had NO RIGHT to come after Ricky and I like that earlier tonight! It’s that attitude that-- hey! HEY!

Neon steps forward, choking Evan Envi with both hands to a roar from the crowd! Envi’s face immediately begins to turn white-- but from out of nowhere Neon is grabbed behind with a leg-hook belly-to-back Suplex, driving her roughly to the canvas! The audience responds with a chorus of boos, though some continue to cheer at the Queen of Mean’s dismay. A second camera angle catches Ricky Valero as the assailant, ripping his jacket off and tossing it out of the ring as he hops to his feet, pacing behind the writhing Neon with a grin.

Geoff Penzer: We should’ve known… Ricky Valero with the PinnaclePlex to an unsuspecting Neon.

The referee warns Ricky and Evan to stay back as he checks on the stirring Neon. She holds her head, mumbling something back to him while Evan picks up his dropped microphone and chucks it toward the fallen Neon out of frustration, earning an ”OOOOOHHH…” from the crowd. The microphone hits her hip and bounces across the ring. The referee hops to his feet, shouting at Envi while Valero laughs loudly. Envi waves the referee off and ducks through the ropes, dropping to the outside as he walks to the announce table.

Geoff Penzer: Neon has been wiped out here before the match even started. It’s hard for me to feel sympathy for her considering what she’s done to several members of the roster over the past year, but how can Valero feel good about himself heading into this?

Envi pulls up a chair next to Geoff and puts on his headset.

Evan Envi: Geoff!

Geoff Penzer: Evan.

Evan Envi: Did you see that crazy lady just lash out at me mid-sentence? Thank God Ricky was there.

Geoff Penzer: Yeah… just showed up conveniently out of nowhere.

Evan Envi: A stroke of luck!

Neon shakily reaches her feet, scowling across the ring at Valero, who leans in the corner, winking at her as the ref continuously asks Neon “are you sure?” She nods and the referee turns, calling for the bell!

Geoff Penzer: This match is underway!

The referee however turns, pointing a finger to Evan Envi… before immediately ordering him to leave! The audience erupts while Ricky Valero’s eyes grow wide in horror. A ”YES!” chant fills the arena as Envi rises to his feet, looking at the referee in shock.

Geoff Penzer: Looks like you’re gonna have to watch this one from the back, Chief.

Evan Envi: Are you serious?! For what?! I was the one that got attacked twice tonight!

Evan pulls his headset off and makes his way around the ring, questioning the referee the whole time while Ricky does the same. The referee demands that Envi leave, threatening Ricky with disqualification. Envi shakes his head in disbelief before throwing his hands up and turning, walking up the ramp with a loud groan.

Geoff Penzer: Evan Envi has been banished from the ringside area and-- oh-- Ricky needs to be careful here.

Ricky Valero turns the referee around, earning a warning from the official, but before Ricky can even get a word out, Neon rolls him up from behind with a Schoolboy! Unbeknownst to the referee, she hooks the tights!

Valero kicks out, scrambling to his feet while holding up two fingers to the referee, looking for confirmation. The referee responds, stating the count was “two!”

Geoff Penzer: Ricky Valero’s return to the ring almost ended in humiliating fashion!

Valero turns his gaze on the rising Neon and narrows his eyes. He rushes forward for the Swinging Neckbreaker… but Neon rotates through, placing herself back-to-back with Valero before hooking him for a Backslide Pin! The ref drops into position!

...but Valero rolls to his feet and breaks free! He scrambles backwards into the ropes and rushes back toward the rising Neon for a Shining Wizard, but the Queen of Mean ducks beneath his knee! Valero crashes to his knees behind Neon and rises to his feet, turning around, throwing out a Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Knee out of nowhere, but Neon throws herself backwards, clutching the ropes, allowing Valero to land on a knee, striking air.

Geoff Penzer: Valero misses with Dream Street! And now--

Neon rushes forward and connects with a Running Scissors Kick, sending Valero face-first into the canvas to a gasp and loud mixed reaction from the audience!

Geoff Penzer: LIGHTS OUT! Neon got every single bit of that!

Neon shoves Valero onto his back and hooks the far leg while many in the audience count along with the referee.

Valero’s shoulder shoots off of the canvas and his eyes grow wide as he desperately rolls away. Neon scrambles after him, throwing vicious elbows and forearms into Ricky’s head and neck! Ricky turns, throwing a right hand at Neon with both Grapplers on their knees, but Neon swivels out of the way and lands a thunderous closed fist to the jaw! The crack echoes throughout the arena and Ricky falls onto his back before Neon mounts him, grabbing Valero’s throat with both hands and lifting his head up, driving his skull violently against the canvas!

Geoff Penzer: Oh God!

The referee  begins a fast five-count for Valero’s safety!

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Neon releases Valero’s throat but lays into him with a forearm strike across the jaw for good measure before hooking the near leg for a cover!

Valero kicks out and once again rolls onto his stomach, attempting to crawl toward the rope, but Neon dives onto his back this time, grabbing two fistfuls of hair as she drives Ricky face-first into the canvas and begins to rub his face into the mat. Ricky kicks his legs, trying to pry Neon’s fingers off of his head while the referee begins another five-count.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Neon pushes herself off of Ricky and moves her hair out of her face, revealing the still-fiery look of rage. With a grunt, she rushes forward toward the stirring Valero, delivering a sharp punt to his ribs. Ricky cries out-- but grabs a hold of Neon’s leg before she can pull back! Neon loses her balance in an attempt to free herself, falling onto her rear before using her free foot to kick roughly into Valero’s chest and stomach. Ricky seems to be struggling to apply some sort of leg lock or heel hook, but Neon violently kicks at him!

Geoff Penzer: Neon is just aiming to make Ricky Valero hurt. She was embarrassed and abandoned two weeks ago when Evan and Ricky joined forces, and she’s only been given half-explanations. As a person, it’s hard for me to feel sympathy for Neon, but she is still a person. To be treated like this on national television by someone you’ve invested so much of your life into-- I can only imagine what she truly wants to do to the so-called “good guys”, Valero and Envi.

After nearly ten seconds of abuse, Ricky finally releases Neon’s legs, clutching his ribs as he knee-crawls to the ropes, using them to pull himself up. He turns around as Neon rolls to her feet. She shakes the kinks out of her leg before charging at Ricky-- but he counters with a Shoulder Block! Neon stumbles backwards and Ricky explodes off of the ropes, delivering a Step-Up Enzuigiri! Neon reels, but doesn’t go down. Ricky rolls to his feet, clutching his ribs, glaring at Neon who raises a single, offensive finger toward him. He leaps up, blasting her with a Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Knee! Neon collapses to the mat and Valero rolls into a cover, hooking both legs!

Geoff Penzer: Valero with Dream Street! A valiant effort by Neon, but that sounded like a knockout shot.

Neon throws a shoulder up, earning another mixed reaction from the audience. Valero laughs to himself, shaking his head at the referee in a mixture of amusement and disbelief.

Geoff Penzer: I stand corrected. Neon’s still in this, but barely. I don’t think she has any idea where she is.

Valero rises to his feet and grabs a handful of Neon’s hair, ignoring a scolding from the referee as he glances out into the booing audience, grinning out into the masses. Valero yanks Neon into a standing headscissors before her flipping her up onto his shoulders. Neon tries to fight out of it, nailing Valero with forearms to the forehead… but Valero charges the corner anyway! Neon throws a thumb into Ricky’s eye, causing Valero to cry out, but he still launches her, connecting with a Turnbuckle Powerbomb!

Geoff Penzer: Valero with a Powerbomb right into the corner but he might be blinded!

Valero cries out, a hand over his face as Neon leans against the turnbuckles, stunned, groaning in pain. Ricky shoots the far ropes, one eye squeezed shut, charging at Neon for a sprinting corner forearm-- but Neon side-steps him at the last moment, guiding Valero forward! Valero sails over the top rope, his sternum colliding with the ring post before he falls to the apron and finally to the floor, howling out in agony!

Geoff Penzer: RICKY VALERO…!

Chants of ”HOLY SHIT!” echo throughout pockets of the audience while a smaller portion keeps the dream alive with chants of ”YOU STILL SUCK!” Neon leans against the middle rope and grins down at Valero before lying back on the mat. She urges the referee to count, who begins to do so after Valero fails to respond, lying on the floor.

”ONE!”


“TWO!”


“THREE!”


“FOUR!”

“SIX!”

Valero reaches up for the ring skirt and pulls himself up to a knee, eyes glassed over. He locks eyes with Neon, who sits on a knee, glaring down at Valero, eyes still burning deep with anger. She rises to her feet as Valero climbs onto the apron, driving her boot into his jaw! Spit flies from Valero’s mouth and the referee moves Neon back with a warning, allowing Valero to pull himself into the ring, falling over the bottom rope in a daze.

Geoff Penzer: Valero breaks the count here, but Neon is fired up. She has to be careful. She risks disqualification-- but I’m wondering how much she cares. Oh, here we go!

Neon shoots the far ropes and rebounds with a Baseball Slide to the ribs that sends Valero under the bottom rope and back-first to the floor! The referee scolds Neon, but she steps through the ropes and out to the apron as Valero pulls himself up… and Neon gets a running start before leaping off for a Tornado DDT on the outside!

Geoff Penzer: Countered!

Valero plants his feet and catches Neon in the air! Neon tries to maneuver into a Guillotine on the fly, but Valero manages to launch her overhead with a modified Capture Suplex to a mixed reaction from the crowd! Neon arches her back in pain and Ricky’s face turns red as he stands up. He makes his way to Neon and forces her up by the hair, whispering something in her ear before sliding her into the ring. Neon rolls to the center of the ring, crawling to her hands and knees-- but Valero leaps onto the apron and immediately leaps onto the top rope, sailing to the center with a Springboard Leg Drop! The audience pops at the athleticism, but Valero clutches his midsection, jarred from the landing and falls to his side.

Geoff Penzer: I dunno where Valero found the energy, but WHAT a Springboard Leg Drop! He can’t capitalize though! Neon completely targeted his midsection this whole match and that rough landing took a lot out of Ricky.

Valero takes deep breaths as he pushes Neon onto her back. He leans back for a cover, hooking the far leg-- but Neon counters with a Crucifix Pin, rolling Ricky up!

Valero pops out of the hold and yells out as he scrambles to his feet. Neon makes it to a knee and Valero turns, rushing to the corner. He steps up to the second turnbuckle and then to the top just as Neon reaches her feet!

Geoff Penzer: He’s gonna crush the Queen of Mean!

Valero leaps off of the top rope for a picture-perfect Moonsault… but Neon calmly walks out of the way, allowing Valero to smash face-first to the canvas!

Geoff Penzer: ...baha…

The audience erupts, many howling in laughter at the misstep. He rolls onto his back-- and immediately, Neon rushes forward, leaping up, nailing a jumping double-knee drop to the midsection of Valero! Ricky cries out in agony and Neon pivots, jumping into the air to do it a second time! Valero kicks his feet and the referee asks if he wants to quit, but Valero refuses! Neon nods and backs into the corner, stepping up to the second rope… before leaping off once more, crashing on Valero’s gut with a Diving Double Knee Drop! Valero sits upright, face turning red from the abuse but Neon staggers to her feet and takes a step back… before rushing forward and diving down with a Discus Forearm! The crack! echoes throughout Memphis and Neon lands on top of the motionless Valero, reaching for his near leg for a cover!

Geoff Penzer: Those shots! The cover!

Valero kicks out emphatically and the audience responds with a deafening mixed reaction! Neon runs a hand down her face, groaning loudly before burying her face in her hands, shaking her head.

”RICKY SUCKS!”

Geoff Penzer: Neon is so close. She cannot afford to get frustrated here! You have to think, a win here puts her back in the discussion for singles gold! And this audience may not exactly be rallying behind her, but “Ricky sucks” has to be motivation enough! All due credit to Ricky Valero however. What a match!

Neon slams her hand on the mat in frustration a few time before signaling for the end, glaring out into the audience before focusing her glare on Valero. As he pushes himself up to his feet, Neon strides forward, stunning him with a knee under the jaw! She hooks the standing Valero’s leg for the Fisherman’s Suplex, but Valero counters with an uncharacteristic headbutt! Neon staggers back and Valero reaches out, grabbing her wrist and pulling her forward onto his shoulders-- before flipping her through the air, driving her neck across his knee with the Ushigiroshi!

Geoff Penzer: THY WILL BE DONE! Out of nowhere!

Valero collapses atop Neon and reaches over, hooking the near leg while the referee drops for the count.

The bell sounds and boos resonate throughout the arena as Valero rolls off of Neon, “Amazing” hitting the PA system.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner… RIIICKKKKYYY VAAAAALERO!

Valero rolls out to the apron, clutching his ribs, his breathing labored as the ref raises his arm. Valero quickly pulls it away, protecting his midsection… but he smirks as he turns, looking into the ring at Neon, who writhes in agony, clutching at her neck while the ringside doctor tends to her.

Geoff Penzer: Ricky Valero just put Neon away. He just went through hell in his first match in months here in FGA, but he survived. He prevailed. And some say Neon deserves this… maybe so. But as human beings, Evan Envi and Ricky Valero are going to have to live with what they’ve done. Unfortunately, I feel that this isn’t the last time I’ll have to say that.

Ricky makes his way up the ramp, winking out into the masses as we fade to black.

Flashpoint's feed switches to the backstage interview area where Amanda Johnson stands next to the newest member of the roster, James Edwards, drawing a nice cheer from the crowd. James wears dressed in a black henley shirt with faded Wranglers and a Pittsburgh Pirates cap. The Burning Heart's eyes are somewhere off in the distance, and he doesn't notice that he and Amanda are live.

Amanda Johnson: I'm here with the new addition to the Flashpoint roster, James Edwards!

Johnson flashes James a bright smile and nudges him in the ribs, startingly him.

James Edwards: Ah hell...sorry, I got lost in my head.

Johnson chuckles.

Amanda Johnson: It's okay, so speaking of thoughts, the world what's to know, why did you choose to sign with Flashpoint last week?

Edwards takes a deep breath and nervously touches the bill of his cap, tracing the bright yellow "P."

James Edwards: Aight', so if I'm gonna tell the whole story, you gotta give me time to talk, no questions, just let me finish.

Edwards looks to Amanda for an answer. She eagerly nods. He takes his cap off and runs a hand through his messy brown hair before pulling it back down tight on his head.

James Edwards: It wasn't an easy decision. Despite my problems with management and Colton, I enjoyed the in-ring challenge over there. I made a friend in Fujiko Mine. I could've done a lot of good on Vertigo if I had my head on straight that is. The fact is, I wasn't gonna rest until Colton's blood was on my hands, and that scared the hell out of me. I'm usually the kind of guy who can leave work behind when the whistle blows, but I couldn't this time, man. That bastard's cocky smile, the way he treats everybody and then there ain't never any consequences from the boss about it, that didn't fly right with me. It's all I could think about. Revenge was the only thing that motivated me. But what did that get me, huh?

James' eyes narrow and his lips go pencil thin in the manner of a cat watching its prey.

James Edwards: It didn't get me a damn thing! There was never gonna another one-on-one match between Colton and me; there was always gonna be a barrier between him and me. The only way I was gonna get justice, is if I stalked his ass and jumped in an alley, I thought about doing that more than I care to admit. Hating another human being that much just ain't natural. It ain't right and it ain't why I came to this company.

Edwards' eyes go wide and brighten up; he starts to bang his left in his open right palm like a gavel between sentences.

James Edwards: I'm not sure how many people remember what I said the first time I was on camera in FGA, but I do, ever single word of it. I was sitting on some random ass flight of stairs with the future on my mind. I saw big fights against the best wrestlers in the world. I expected my skills to be tested every time I stepped into the ring. I wanted championships and the challenges of taking the best from my opponents night in and night out. I still want all of that, and it wasn't gonna happen chasing Colton Sterling around Vertigo. I was only gonna get back on track if I got a fresh start and got away from that mess. Flashpoint is my fresh start, and I'm damn excited to be here!

Johnson smile at James and he uncharacteristically returns it.

Amanda Johnson: Before I let you go, I'd like to get a comment on Brandon MacDonald and KOL's remarks about you on the last episode of Vertigo.

Any trace of joviality quickly retreats from Edwards' face and his eyes narrow to slits once again.

James Edwards: I saw what they said and let em' talk. I did what was best for my career; I made the decision that I knew would make me happy. I walked away from an eternal war that would've ruined me as a fighter. That's not what a coward does. A coward is someone who gets himself counted out because he knows he is gonna get his skull kicked; a coward gets himself disqualified when he sees the man he considers a lesser fighter about to pin Chris Madison, and if that coward by the name of Colton Sterling doesn't like what I have to say, he can find in the ring in Orlando during the Gold Rush Rumble.

The crowd erupts at the mention of Edwards throwing his hat into the upcoming mega brawl.

Amanda Johnson: Well James thanks for your time and good luck on Flashpoint, and in the Rumble.

Edwards just nods and stares blankly into the camera, his mind lost somewhere between regret and revenge.

Johnny Karma vs. Chandler Scott

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Red lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! Introducing first, from Westwood, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 226 pounds! He is the “DNA of FGA”, CHAAAAANDLERRRRRRR SCOOOOTT!!!

Chandler makes his way down to the ring with a smirk on his face. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while puts his hand above his eyes to scan the crowd. He smirks as he slowly slaps his chest three times before pointing to a lucky fan in the crowd. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins slipping off his jumpsuit and tosses it to the outside as he waits for his opponent.

Geoff Penzer: Chandler Scott was screwed out of his chance at challenging Johnny Karma for the FGA Undisputed Championship at Only the Strong Survive! Now, Chandler gets a second chance thanks to Hadley Herrera. But he's got to go through Karma, a man that has beaten him in three straight matches, including last year's Gold Rush Rumble by eliminating him last!

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Champion, or as the Frontier Wrestling Arts fanbase more commonly know him, Johnny Karma - at which point he walks out onto the ramp with the title draped over his shoulder, before he comes to a halt and raising the title high in the air for a moment, before entrusting the belt to Cherry as he hands it to her to place over her shoulder as they begin their walk toward the ring

As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Cherry Baum! From Queens, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds! He is the reigning FGA Undisputed Champion, JOHNNYYYYYYY KAAAAAAAARRRRRMAAAAAAAA!!!

As the pair reach ringside, Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron as Cherry follows him and hands him the title, at which point Karma turns to face the audience and slowly raising the title high into the air once more to let everyone know who's the champ, before he steps through the ropes that Cherry has been perched upon to climb into the ring

Once inside the ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket and fixes the title around his waist before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and stands there proudly with the title around his waist

Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and climbs onto the opposite turnbuckle, pulling the title from around his waist to raise it high into the air once more.

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma already has to worry about Evan Envi at Only the Strong Survive. But if Chandler is able to get past him tonight, then Chandler gets added to the championship match to make it a three way. The last thing Karma wants is another obstacle thrown in his way. But thankfully for him, he's had Chandler's number their last few outings. Can Karma keep his championship defense at the pay per view to a singles match or will it become a triple threat?

Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring and places the title over his shoulder once more, holding the pose for a few seconds…

“Can You Feel It?” hits the PA system and immediately groans and boos fill the arena.

Geoff Penzer: ...what… why… why do I continue to be surprised?

Evan Envi makes his way down the ramp, double “V”s raised high above his head. This time, he doesn’t bother even glancing at the fans as he makes yet another appearance at ringside. Boos rain down as healthily as ever, though Envi keeps his eyes focused on the occupants of the ring. Karma and Scott both glare at the Chief, neither turning their back toward him. The referee shouts warnings at Evan, but Evan holds his hands up defensively, gesturing toward the announce table.

Geoff Penzer: Once again, ladies and gentlemen-- Evan Envi.

Evan places his headset on and takes a seat, raising his eyebrows at Karma and Scott as they glare toward the desk. He points to his headset, mouthing “calm down” to the two.

Evan Envi: Yes, yes. I’m back. Did you see how mean that ref was during Ricky versus Neon? Cuts me off. Kicks me out. Points at me. Breaks every rule about manners my Granny taught me coming up, Geoff. It was absolutely ridiculous.

Geoff Penzer: Hm. Yeah. And the ref is calling for the bell here!

Both Karma and Scott are met with cheers and applause from the capacity crowd once the opening bell sounds. Soon, dueling chants begin to engulf the arena.

Evan Envi: These people are as excited as I am about the great match that’s about to take place. It’s gonna be a classic, Geoff.

Geoff Penzer: It very well may be. These two are among the most capable of delivering that here in our main event!

Evan Envi: “Among” is right. Watch your words, amigo.

Both grapplers reach their right arms out near the center of the ring and give a quick handshake before stepping back to circle the ring. They then size each other up before moving forward. After a collar-and-elbow tie up is applied, both grapplers proceed to jockey for position. Scott begins to move Karma back before Karma slows him down. He then moves Scott back across the ring and presses him up against the ropes. The ref heads over and gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO... THREE… FOUR…

Both grapplers make a clean break. After Karma steps back to the center of the ring, Scott makes his way off the ropes. He then heads back over to Karma and locks up with him. After jockeying for position, Karma moves Scott across the ring and presses him up against the ropes. Scott then turns over to his left and presses Karma against the ropes. After a tussle, Karma turns over to his his left and presses Scott against the turnbuckles. The ref gets in and gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both grapplers make a clean break.

Evan Envi: Why are they being soft?

Geoff Penzer: What? You know all about the feeling-out process. Neither one of these guys wants to rush into battle and jeopardize their position in the Undisputed Championship picture come A New Odyssey.

Evan Envi: Feeling ou-- these guys have felt each other out TONS of times. How much more feeling out do they need? (Clap! Clap!) Come on boys, get in there!

Ignoring the shouting of the Chief, Karma steps back towards the center of the ring. After tugging on the ropes, Scott makes his way from out of the corner before circling the ring. The two grapplers begin to inch towards each other before locking up. After jockeying for position, Scott places Karma in a side headlock. Karma is then able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock from behind. Before long, Karma spins Scott around towards him and plants him with Instant Karma (hammerlock spun into a DDT).

Geoff Penzer: Instant Karma!

Evan Envi: There you go!

The cheers continue as Karma makes the cover.

Scott kicks out.

Karma picks up Scott and delivers an arm wrench. Scott winces when Karma wrench the arm again… and again… and again. The ref heads over to ask if he wants to give up. But Scott refuses. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. But Karma is quick to come right before and reverse into another arm wrench to regain control of the match.

Evan Envi: And now we’re gettin’ all technical to appease the internet. Okay. I dig it.

Scott rolls forward, turns over onto his knees, flips over with a headstand, spins in place and tosses Karma down to the mat with a fireman’s carry. Scott quickly drops down to a knee and applies an armbar.

Geoff Penzer: And now Scott takes the champion down with an Armbar! He’s trying to create a target here!

Evan Envi: He’s doing such a good j… CHANDLER, YOU’RE DOING AMAZING!

The ref gets down and asks Karma if he wants to give up. But Karma refuses.

Geoff Penzer: So now that we’ve got you, seemingly uninterrupted on commentary here, and Neon is officially out of your… “camp”... don’t you wanna open up about what happened involving Neon and Cherry Baum a couple of months back on Flashpoint? No one’s cutting you off. You could tell us all, really briefly even, exactly what happened--

Evan Envi: NOOO WAYYYYY! LOOK AT THE RESILIENT UNDISPUTED CHAMPION! I CAN’T BELIEVE MY EYES!

After battling back to a vertical base, Karma uses his free arm to move Scott into the near ropes. He then shoves Scott off into the far ropes. When Scott returns, the crowd cheers when Karma knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Karma returns, he hops over Scott before running the ropes. When he comes back, Scott pops back up to his feet and leapfrogs over him. Karma continue to run the ropes. When he comes back, Scott goes for a hip toss. But Karma blocks it. So Scott tries to muscle him up for another hip toss. But again, Karma blocks it. So Scott doubles him over with a punch to the midsection. He then drapes his leg across the back of Karma’s neck and performs a backflip. As soon as Scott lands on his feet, Karma doubles him over with a boot to the midsection and brings him down with the Bum Trip (shoulder neckbreaker). The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Evan Envi: Karma with the Bum Bum! Chandler with the heart of a fffffreakin’ lion! My God, Geoff, I am sweating at this high-octane action right here in Memphis, Tennessee! Listen to this place! These people are loving every second of it! This is a wrestling town!

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s back on the offense!

Karma picks up Scott, moves him into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then brings Scott from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending him into the far ropes. When Karma comes back, he sees Scott setting up for a back body drop. So Karma stops and places Scott in a standing headscissors. The crowd explodes with cheers upon seeing Scott set up for Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up (jumping piledriver).

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s pulling no punches!

Evan Envi: What a reckless move! The scumbag! I’m bent!

Before Karma can lift Scott up, Scott realizes the positions he’s in and quickly counters with a standing double leg takedown. The crowd explodes with cheers as Scott steps through Karma’s legs and crosses his legs around his. He’s about to turn Karma over into the Scott Lock (Scorpion Death Lock) when Karma uses his leg strength to shove Scott down to the canvas.

Evan Envi: Karma told me backstage that he goes to the local daycares and lifts stranger’s small children while doing squats every day to build up them thick thigh muscles that he’s become so famous for among our dedicated fanbase. Karma’s thighs could crush coconuts and Chandler is a fool for not realizing this.

Geoff Penzer: ...and now it’s a race back to their feet!

After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, Scott slaps on a side headlock. But Karma is quick to shove him off into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma goes for a back body drop. But Scott’s able to slip down from behind. After Scott applies a waist lock, Karma runs forward, wraps his arms around the top rope and yanks back, sending Scott flying off his back and down to the mat. After Scott rolls back up to his feet, Karma runs over to attack. The crowd cheers when Scott ducks and lifts Karma up across his shoulders. He’s got Karma set up for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. But Karma continues to kick his legs. He then slips down from behind. The crowd gasps and explodes with cheers when Karma quickly grabs Scott from behind, rolls him out in from of him with a ripcord and throws out Hard Times (wrist lock transitioned into a short-arm Bionic Elbow). But Scott ducks and counters with a Sling Blade! He makes the cover.

Evan Envi: Fun fact about Chandler Scott, Geoff.

Geoff Penzer: Go ahead.

Evan Envi: He’s an avid fan of dance. He takes a four-by-four square of cardboard to every arena and breakdances like a madman in the back as prep. In West Memphis, he’s actually known as “B-Boy” Chandler Scott by the most dedicated members of our fanbase and he’s really taken these skills and incorporated them into his strikes and overall repertoire. He’s a fantastic athlete.

Geoff Penzer: Amazing.

Evan Envi: Don’t LET him see this cardboard stashed under this announce table. You’re playing a dangerous game, Geoff.

Scott picks up Karma and whips him into the corner. He then runs across the ring before rocking him with a running European Uppercut. Scott takes Karma and sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. He then runs, jumps and cracks Karma across the face with a flying corner elbow smash. He then lifts Karma up and sits him across the top turnbuckle. Scott turns around, raches back, places Karma in a three quarter facelock and takes a few steps out to set up for the Mass Spike (top rope hung Cutter). Before before Scott can deliver the move, Karma quickly unhooks his legs and applies Deep Karma (Crossface Chickenwing)!

Geoff Penzer: DEEP KARMA!

Evan Envi: Huh. That quick.

The cheers continue as Karma fights for the submission while a camera catches Envi’s concerned gaze in the background. Scott then runs backwards and squashes Karma in the corner. But the hold isn’t broken. Karma keeps it applied. So Scott takes a few steps out on the corner, then runs back to squash Karma against the turnbuckles again. But Karma still keeps the hold applied.

Evan Envi: He’s like a leech! Chandler, get him off!

Geoff Penzer: Looks like the man that hopes to join you in a triple threat match is in trouble. I don’t know, Evan-- this might be better for you if the Undisputed Title match remains one-on-one.

So Scott takes a few steps out of the corner and leans forward, lifting Karma up onto his back. Scott then stands up, runs backwards and jumps backwards into the corner. This time, the hold is broken. Scott then staggers from out of the corner while he rolls his right shoulder. Once he feels it’s fine, he turns around and runs back into the corner. But he gets caught with a back elbow to the face. Karma then tosses him into the corner and lights up his chest with another series of knife edge chops. Karma then takes Scott and sends him across the ring with an irish whip. Karma then charges across the ring before clobbering Scott with an NYC Uppercut (European Uppercut). Karma then steps back towards the center of the ring while Scott slumps down in the corner. Karma then rushes forward before nailing Scott with the Kodak Moment (rope-assisted corner dropkick). The cheers continue as he drags Scott from out of the corner before making the cover.

Scott gets his shoulder up.

Karma picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma lifts him up from the side and delivers a backbreaker. Instead of letting Scott drop to the mat, Karma holds him across his knee. He then lifts Scott back up, heads to the side of the ring and tosses Scott through the ropes and to the floor.

Evan Envi: You see what I mean? JOHNNY KARMA IS RECKLESS!

Geoff Penzer: He’s measuring Scott…

While Scott starts to pick himself up on the outside, Karma turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, he throws out This Is For The Front Row (baseball slide clothesline). But Scott ducks the clothesline. When Karma lands on his feet on the outside, Scott brings him down with a flapjack! Scott gets up, turns and sees Envi giving him a standing ovation. Scott narrows his eyes at The Chief.

Evan Envi: HECK. YES, BRO! THAT IS WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT! GET IN THERE! GET IN THERE! Wooooooooooo!

Scott slowly turns back to Karma. After pulling the Undisputed Champion off the floor, Scott slams him face-first onto the apron before shoving him back inside. Scott then slides back in and makes the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up.

Scott picks up Karma, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Karma around, Scott rocks him with a series of right hands to the face. He then takes Karma and sends him into the opposite with an irish whip. Scott then runs, jumps over towards the corner and throws out another flying corner elbow smash. But Karma moves out of the way, causing Scott to crash into the turnbuckles. As Scott stumbles back, Karma grabs him from behind and tosses him through the ropes. Instead of crashing to the floor, Scott lands on the apron. As Scott pulls himself up using the ropes, Karma heads over to grab him. Scott then ducks and doubles him over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then grabs Karma by the neck with both hands and ropes him with a hangman across the top rope, sending Karma down to the mat. Scott then reaches back in, turns Karma over, drags him out onto the apron and gets him in position. Scott looks around at the fans before planting Karma with the Mass Spike on the outside!

Geoff Penzer: Oh my God!

Evan Envi: Ahahahahaha!

Geoff Penzer: What was that you were saying about our Undisputed Champion being reckless?

Evan Envi: What are you talking about? That was amazing! Talk about that more!

Geoff Penzer: Karma’s dazed. You can see it in his eyes. Chandler’s doing the smart thing here as the ref starts his ten count though, getting the champion back in the ring.

The cheers continue as Scott pulls up Karma and rolls him back inside. After rolling himself back in, he makes the cover.

Scott picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Scott sends him flipping down to the canvas with a kitchen sink to the midsection. As Karma sits up to guard his midsection, Scott runs up from behind and delivers a rolling neck snap. He makes the cover.

Scott picks up Karma and whips him hard into the turnbuckles. As Karma staggers from out of the corner, Scott scoops him up from the side and delivers a running backbreaker. He then gets back up before heading into the ropes. When Scott returns, he connects with a jumping knee drop. He makes the cover.

Evan Envi: Good ol’ fashioned knee without the frills. I like it.

Geoff Penzer: I’m still trying to figure out why you’re cheering for Scott here. Why would you want to lessen your odds for the Undisputed Championship? For eleven years you’ve craved a World Championship and you get one more shot at Only the Strong Survive, but why would you want the DNA of FGA to be involved in that?

Evan Envi: First of all, maybe I like options. And second-- I am the DNA of FGA. Ricky Valero is the DNA of FGA. I like Chandler, but jeez is he selfish!

Scott sits up Karma and places him in a seated abdominal stretch. The ref heads over and asks Karma if he wants to give up. But the champ shakes his head ‘no’. Cherry Baum can be seen on the outside slapping the apron and giving Karma some words of encouragement, and subtly the camera catches Evan’s gaze locked on Baum from the background. Cherry then turns and tries to get the crowd to rally behind Karma. Scott continues to fight for the submission. But Karma refuses to quit. Scott then transitions into a rear chinlock. The ref continues to ask Karma if he wants to give up. Karma continues to refuse.

Evan Envi: Stubborn, isn’t he?

Geoff Penzer: Earlier you used the word “resilient”, and I think that’s still accurate. This might be a tiny glimpse at what lies in store for you at A New Odyssey.

Cherry continues to lead the crowd in rallying behind Karma.

Karma begins to feed off the energy of the crowd. He slowly turns over onto a knee. After returning to a vertical base, Karma nails Scott with four elbows to the midsection to break the hold. Now free, Karma turns and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Scott brings him down with a tilt-a-whirl sideslam.

Geoff Penzer: What a counter! Johnny Karma just got rocked! Cover by Scott!

The cheers continue as hooks the near leg for the cover.

The crowd cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up.

Evan Envi: Hooo boy!

Scott looks over at the ref and holds up three fingers. But the ref shakes his head ‘no’ and holds up two fingers back at him. Scott shakes his head. Scott then turns and does a double take when he sees Envi standing up and holding up two fingers at him. The Chief then gives him a nonchalant shrug and can be heard telling Scott to “TRY. HARDER.” Scott narrows his eyes at Envi.

Geoff Penzer: You’re pushing it, Chief.

Evan Envi: What?!

Scott gets to his feet and slowly walks over towards the ropes. Envi can be heard telling Scott in a condescending tone that ”you’ll get it right at some point… or not.” The crowd cheers when Scott reaches over the top rope and gives Envi the middle finger. A second angle catches the look of dismay on Envi’s face.

Evan Envi: Is that what we’re doing?! Are we that crass?! I’m out here supporting you! You gotta be kidding me! Geoff, can you believe this?!

Geoff Penzer: Stunned.

Scott then turns and makes his way back over to Karma, who is up on his knees. As Scott approaches Karma nails him with a right hand to the midsection. He then connects with another punch to the midsection… and another punch… and another. Karma then gets back to his feet and doubles Scott over with a thrusting knee to the midsection. He then turns and heads into the ropes. When Karma returns, he knocks Scott down with a running high knee. Karma then heads into another set of ropes. When Karma returns, he connects with a jumping knee drop. The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Karma picks up Scott and goes for a vertical suplex. But Scott blocks the move. Karma then tries to muscle Scott up for another vertical suplex. But again, Scott blocks the move. Scott then counters with a snap suplex. He rolls over, pulls Karma back up to his feet and delivers a second snap suplex. Scott then rolls over, pulls Karma back to his feet, pulls Karma over towards the corner and delivers a snap suplex into the turnbuckles! After Karma rolls away from the corner, Scott crawls over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: And again, Johnny Karma fights back! He does not want to lose that champion’s advantage at Only the Strong Survive but he can feel Chandler Scott closing in!

Evan Envi: Yeah he can!

Scott picks up Karma, lifts him up and connects with a Shotgun Stunner! After pulling Karma up into a seated position, Scott turns and runs into the ropes. When he returns, the crowd cheers when he flattens Karma with a sliding forearm smash to the face! While Karma is sprawled out on the apron, Scott steps out onto the apron. He goes to climb the turnbuckles. He stops halfway once Envi stands up from his seat, takes his thumbs and repeatedly points up while telling Scott to keep climbing. Scott yells at Envi to “fuck off,” which results in cheers from the crowd.

Evan Envi: WOW.

Geoff Penzer: Did you… catch that?

Evan Envi: I think they’re both jerks now. Hope they just spend the rest of the match Atomic Dropping each other.

Scott climbs to the top turnbuckle and gets down in a crouched position. Once Karma returns to his feet and turns around, Scott stands up, leaps off and goes for a Frog Splash Crossbody. But Karma counters with a powerslam! The cheers continue as he hooks the leg for the cover…

Geoff Penzer: Did you SEE that counter?!

Evan Envi: (Sigh) Yeah. I saw.

Karma picks up Scott and goes for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Scott runs past him. So Karma slams on the brakes. When Karma turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers when he lifts up Scott, turns and throws him down hard with a spinebuster!

Geoff Penzer: Listen to that impact! Spinebuster! Cover!

Karma rolls across Scott and hooks the near leg for the cover.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Scott gets his shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: But Chandler Scott says “not yet!” He’s showing his own grit and determination now! This is what the FGA Undisputed Championship means to these men!

Evan Envi: Hm. These dudes don’t quit. They don’t get gassed. I mean, like, all due respect to Watson, these two are aces, man. These guys? They’d be content maiming each other right here, wouldn’t they?

Geoff Penzer: I think I figured something out.

Evan Envi: Yeah?

Geoff Penzer: Maybe you want the triple threat match at Only the Strong Survive because with the lack of disqualifications, nothing would be preventing someone like… say… Ricky Valero from getting involved on your behalf. Right?

Evan Envi: Wha-- that is absurd, Geoff. Man. I’m surprised at you. Suck that back in. Call the match!

Karma picks up Scott, brings him down with a snapmare and follows up with a rolling neck snap. He then heads into the corner. After lifting himself up onto the middle ropes, Karma goes for a second rope fist drop. Scott then raises his leg and catches Karma with a boot to the face on the way down. Scott remains on the mat while Karma drops down to all fours.

Evan Envi: Look. Johnny Karma out here assuming the posi--

Geoff Penzer: Alright, we had a surprisingly good thing going up until this point.

Evan Envi: You’re right. You’re right. I’m a consummate professional.

Scott turns over and gets up on all fours while Karma tries to shake out the cobwebs. Scott returns to a vertical base while Karma uses the ropes to pull himself up. As Karma begins to step back from the ropes, Scott comes up from behind and delivers Macho Karma to Karma! Karma drops down to the mat. As soon as Scott lands on his feet, he crumbles to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: CHANDLER SCOTT wit the Hotshot, Macho-Karma style! Did you see that?!

Evan Envi: That was sick but I didn’t know Chandler was a common thief! I’m beginning to rethink my support, Geoff. I’m not amused. But I’m still a good guy, so-- ayy!

Envi turns, talking to somebody in the front row behind him while Penzer keeps an eye on the match. After a few moments Envi thanks somebody and flashes a bottle of water to the camera before pouring it into an empty cup while Karma writhes inside the ring and Scott begins to stir on the floor.

Geoff Penzer: What are you doing?

Evan Envi: Tryna stay in my boy’s good graces and keep him hydrated. Ricky actually texted me and asked me to do it, so as you can see, we’re always lookin out for our own.

After Scott picks himself back up, he turns and sees Envi standing up to offer him a cup of water. Scott then snatches the cup from Envi’s hand. The crowd explodes with cheers when Scott throws the cup of water in Envi’s face.

Geoff Penzer: OH! Chandler Scott’s clearly not thirsty!

Scott throws the cup down in front of him, smashing it to pieces while Envi looks down, mouth slightly agape. As soon as Scott turns around, the crowd cheers when Karma flattens him with This Is For The Front Row, the Baseball Slide Clothesline! He then picks up Scott and rolls him back inside. Karma then climbs up onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle. Once Scott gets to his feet and turns around, Karma knocks him down with a flying double axe handle smash! He makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: And Chandler keeps his Undisputed Championship dreams alive! Karma’s not wasting much time though. Wisely, he’s right back on the offense.

Karma picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Karma sets up for a back body drop. So Scott counters with a kick to the face that stands him upright. Scott then lifts Karma up onto his shoulders for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. But Karma counters with several elbows to the side of the head. He then slips down from behind before shoving Scott into the ropes. When Scott returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Karma cracks him with the Superkick!

Geoff Penzer: Check. Your. Chiclets!

Spittel flies out of Scott’s mouth before he crumbles to the mat. While Scott is sprawled out on the mat, Karma steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. The crowd buzzes with anticipation while Karma raises his arms in the air. He then looks up to the sky, then back down to his opponent before jumping off. The crowd explodes with cheers when Karma connects with the Flying Elbow Drop.

Geoff Penzer: From The Stars Above! Karma’s feeling it!

Karma slowly pulls Scott up from off the mat while the crowd buzzes his anticipation. He then quickly goes behind Scott and spins him out in front of him. The crowd gasps and cheers when Karma throws out Hard Times. But again, Scott ducks. When Karma turns around, the crowd cheers when Scott lifts him up across his shoulders and brings him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! Karma clutches the back of his neck with both hands while Scott drops down on all fours.

Geoff Penzer: Again, Chandler Scott escapes Hard Times, but this time a Neckbreaker has the Undisputed Champion on the ropes. Either of these men might be one big move away from a victory here in our main event!

Scott slowly picks himself back up while Karma gets up on a knee. Just when Karma gets back to his feet, the crowd cheers when Scott runs from up from behind and drives him down with a reverse Sling Blade! He then pulls Karma back up and whips him into the corner. Scott then runs over and nails Karma with a running European Uppercut. He then takes Karma and sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Scott charges across the ring before rocking Karma with another running European Uppercut! After Karma slumps down in the corner, Scott reaches down and slowly pulls him back up. After sitting Karma on the top turnbuckle, Scott climbs up onto the middle ropes. He then shakes his head ‘no’ before stepping up onto the top ropes. The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Scott pulls Karma up onto the top turnbuckle. The crowd then explodes with cheers when Scott brings Karma down hard with a superplex!

Geoff Penzer: WHAT a Superplex! Cha-- oh-- what?!

Without letting go, Scott slowly turns over. He then slowly pulls Karma back up to his feet. Scott then lifts up Karma, flips him in the air and delivers the CRS Two (End of Heartache)! The crowd cheers as Karma bounces off of Scotts knees. Scott picks up Karma and pulls him into a front facelock.

Geoff Penzer: Chandler Scott’s not finished!

The crowd gasps as they see Karma about to be set up for the DNA Driver (Bloody Sunday). Before Scott can hook one of Karma’s arms and lift him up, Karma reaches up, grabs Scott’s arm and spins out of the front facelock. He then throws out a short-arm Bionic Elbow. But Scott ducks and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Karma throws out a running clothesline. Scott then ducks and stops while Karma’s momentum brings him into the ropes. When the champ comes back, the crowd cheers when Scott turns him inside out with a Pinpoint Dropkick! Scott pulls Karma back up, places him in a front facelock, hooks Karma’s arm, lifts him up and plants him with the DNA Driver to an explosion of cheers from the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: That’s it!

Scott slowly turns over and drapes his arm across Karma’s chest for the cover…

Evan Envi: This is it.

Envi leaps up onto the apron, getting the ref’s attention.

Geoff Penzer: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

The crowd erupts with boos while Envi and the ref argue.

Geoff Penzer: Oh m… come on now.

Scott lifts his head up and looks around. He looks behind him and sees Envi distracting the referee. A look of rage comes across his face.

Geoff Penzer: I have no idea what’s going through Evan Envi’s mind right now.

Scott slowly gets up off the mat and returns to a vertical base. He motions over towards Envi when Ricky Valero slides in from behind! He quickly runs up from behind, grabs Scott and drops him right on his head with The Franchise Tag (Cobra Clutch Suplex)!

Geoff Penzer: Wha-- n-- no! Ricky Valero just-- why?! I thought we were past this! I thought they said Chandler Scott was one of them and they were begging his forgi… oh, who am I kidding? Damnit!

Valero rolls out of the ring and crouches down next to the ring. Meanwhile, Envi climbs back down to the floor and profusely apologizes. He then heads back over to the announce table and puts his headset back on.

Geoff Penzer: What the hell was that?!

Back inside the ring, on instinct, Karma slowly turns over and drapes his arm across Scott’s chest for the cover.

Geoff Penzer: What the hell just happened?!

Evan Envi: The good guys just won. That’s what just happened.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, JOHNNY KARMA!

Karma doesn’t appear to be cognizant, rolling onto his back, lying motionless next to Karma as the ref tries to check on both men.

Geoff Penzer: You and Ricky Valero just interfered in a classic match. You guys just cost Chandler Scott another shot at the FGA Undisputed Championship! Do you have any idea what you’re doing?

Evan Envi: We know exactly what we’re doing.

Envi places his hands on his headset and gives Penzer a stern, serious look for a few moments before smiling broadly.

Evan Envi: We need to do this again soon. Peace.

Envi takes the headset off, placing it in Geoff’s hand. After Envi makes his way around ringside, he and Valero make their ay up the ramp in each other’s arms. They then turn to face the ring at the top of the ramp and gives themselves a self pat on the back while the crowd continues to boo with disdain…
