Dark Horses by Switchfoot starts to play as the guitar intro hammers out into the arena. Brian Stryker walks out from behind the curtain, his hood up. Brian walks to the center of the stage. He gets down on one knee and runs his hand over the floor of thee stage. He rises to his feet and throws his hood back as the fans start singing the bridge.

"Born for the blue skies
We’ll survive the rain
Born for the sunrise
We’ll survive the pain"

He walks down the ramp, not taking his eyes off the ring. When he gets to the steel steps, he walks up them and climbs the turnbuckle to the top. He looks out to the crowd before holding out his arms as the crowd sings the chorus.

"We’re singing…
Hey, you can’t count us out
We’ve been running up against the crowd
Yeah, we are the dark horses
We’re singing…
Wait! It’s not over now
We’ve been down but we’ve never been out
Yeah, we are the dark horses"

Stryker sits himself on the top turnbuckle as he waits for the ref to start the match.

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Maui, Hawaii! Weighing in at 215 pounds! He is “The Dad of Professional Wrestling” BRIAN STRYKER!!!

Geoff Penzer: Brian Stryker is ticked off and he’s got every right to be. Like he stared before, he was cheated out of the Pride Championship match by Julian Tijerina. Since being traded to Flashpoint, Julian Tijerina has failed to show up show after show. He was never given a rematch for the Pride Championship. To top it all off, Neon screwed him out of the US Title Tournament and has taunted him incessantly. We’ll I’ve just learned during the break that at Grapple Kingdom 2, Neon will finally be putting the 15 Championship on the line when she defends against the former champion, Brian Stryker! But before Stryker gets to Neon, he gets her beau one on one here tonight!

The frantic opening to “Can You Feel It?” hits the PA system to a deafening mixed reaction from the audience. As purple-colored strobes flicker throughout the darkened arena, Evan Envi walks through the curtains toward the top of the ramp. He pauses, looking out among the audience with an arched brow before casually making his way toward the ring, a look of amusement crossing his face as he endures the varying reactions from the audience. He pauses just once at the bottom of the ramp, looking around the venue once more, a smirk spreading across his face.+

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Ocean City, Maryland! Weighing in at 203 pounds! He is “The Chief” EVAN ENVI!

Finally, as Envi walks up the steel steps and onto the apron, the lights slowly return to normal. He climbs the ropes like a staircase, raising the double “V” fingers into the air as he pauses on the top turnbuckle and then drops down into the ring, fingers still raised above his head as he marches toward the far set of ropes, looking out into the audience with a wink, muttering something to himself as his music fades and his arms lower to his side, loosening up his limbs as he backs into the corner.

Geoff Penzer: The Chief tried to explain himself to Johnny Karma and Amanda Johnson earlier tonight. Yet once again, we haven’t gotten a definitive answer out of Evan Envi. He has yet to flat out say that he wasn’t behind it. He’s stated that this wasn't what he wanted to happen. He’s stated that it was just a misunderstanding and that Neon was just trying to help. But he hasn’t flat out stated that he had zero involvement with what went down two weeks ago. Why can’t he answer that very simple question?

Once the bell sounds, Evan Envi and Brian Stryker are met with split chants from the crowd.

Both grapplers continued to circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Stryker places Envi in a side headlock. Envi tries to shove Stryker off, but he doesn’t budge. After a shot to the ribs, Envi is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock from behind.  But Stryker is quick to lean forward and reverse into a hammerlock of his own. After turning Envi towards him, Stryker brings him down to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Envi then quickly reverses into a headscissors. After this, Stryker’s able to escape with a kip up. After Envi scramble back to a vertical base, Stryker slaps on another side headlock. This time, Envi shoves him off into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Envi knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. The crowd responds with a mixed reaction. The Chief then runs into the ropes. When he returns, he hops over Stryker after Stryker rolls over into the prone position. The Chief continues to run the ropes. When he returns, Stryker pops back up to his feet before leapfrogging over him. The Chief continues to run the ropes. When Envi comes back, Stryker brings him down with a hip toss. After Envi returns to his feet, Stryker returns him to the mat with an arm drag. Then another. He then quickly transitions into an armbar. The ref gets down and asks Envi if he wants to give up. But The Chief refuses. After Envi battles back to a vertical base, Stryker takes the arm and wrenches it. Envi groans when Stryker delivers another arm wrench. And another. The ref asks Envi if he wants to give up. But The Chief refuses. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, reverses into an arm wrench of his own and sends Stryker flipping down to the canvas with a fireman’s carry takedown. Envi quickly transitions into an armbar of his own. The ref gets back down. This time, he asks Stryker if he wants to give up. But the former 15 Champion refuses. After battling back to his feet, Stryker rolls forward, leans back, kips up, cartwheels over, reverses into an arm wrench and quickly follows up with a hook kick that knocks Envi down! The cheers continue as he drops down into a lateral press.

Geoff Penzer: First Stryke!

Envi kicks out.

Stryker pulls up Envi and places him in another side headlock. Once again, The Chief shoves him off into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Envi knocks him down with another standing shoulder block. He then turns to run into another set of ropes. When Envi returns, Stryker kips up and goes for a leapfrog. But Envi side steps, grabs Stryker and shoves him down to the mat. He quickly follows up with an elbow drop to the lower back before pulling him over and making the cover.

Stryker kicks out.

Envi picks up Stryker, moves him into the corner and hits him with a knife edge chop. Stryker comes back and hits Envi with a chop of his own. Envi nails Stryker with another knife edge chop. Stryker answers back with another chop of his own. Cheers and boos are heard when Envi blasts Stryker with a European Uppercut. After shaking off the blow, Stryker returns the favor with a right hand. Before Envi can strike next, the crowd cheers when Stryker cuts him off with another punch to the face. The cheers continue as Stryker knocks Envi back towards the center of the ring with punches to the face. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Stryker comes back, he sees Envi running past him. So he slams on the brakes. When Stryker turns around, Envi throws out the Kapowski Kick (high speed spinning heel kick). Stryker’s able to duck the kick. But somehow, Envi’s able to land on his feet. Stryker then runs over and throws out a clothesline. But Envi ducks, lifts him up and throws him down with a Uranage! A strong mixed reaction is heard as he makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Evansville seems pretty pro-Stryker here tonight. Some of the fans believe what Envi had to say. But there’s clearly a lot of fans who think that The Chief is full of it.

Envi sits up Stryker and applies a rear chinlock. The ref gets down and asks Stryker if he wants to give up. But Stryker refuses. He begins to turn over onto his knees. After getting back to his feet, he nails Envi with repeated elbows to the midsection. Once the hold is broken, Stryker takes off into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Envi hoists him into the air for a Pop-Up maneuver. But on the way down, Stryker counters with a dropkick! Once Envi gets back to his feet, Stryker grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Envi reverses, sending Stryker into the ropes. Instead of coming back, Stryker hooks his arms around the top rope. So Envi runs over to attack. As this happens, Stryker delivers a front kick to the face while backflipping over the top rope and out onto the apron! He quickly follows up with a springboard missile dropkic!. Envi stumbles back before falling to the canvas and rolling to the outside. As The Chief starts to pick himself up on the floor, Stryker gets the crowd hyped by waving his arms up and down. He then turns and runs into the far ropes. When Stryker comes back, the crowd explodes with cheers when he takes out Envi with a springboard Shooting Star Splash to the outside!

Geoff Penzer: Down goes The Chief!

The cheers continue as Stryker pulls up Envi and rolls him back inside. He then slides back in and makes the cover.

Envi gets his shoulder up.

Stryker picks up Envi, lifts him up and brings him down with the Freak Accident (pumphandle neckbreaker lift into a cutter). While Envi is sprawled out on the mat, Stryker heads out onto the apron. He walks across the apron, climbs up to the top turnbuckle and jumps off for a diving leg drop. But Envi rolls out of the way, causing Stryker to crash onto the canvas. Stryker stays in a seated position and howls in pain while he favors his legs. Envi gets back to his feet, grabs Stryker’s leg and turns him over into a Stretch Muffler. Half of the crowd cheers for Envi while the other half tries to will Stryker on.

Geoff Penzer: Stryker’s found himself trapped in a submission? Can he escape? Can he hang on? Can he make it to the ropes?

Envi pulls down on the leg, increasing the pressure of the hold. The ref kneels down and asks Stryker if he wants to give up. When Stryker refuses, Envi begins to deliver stomps to the back of the head, which elicit more boos than cheers from the crowd.

Geoff Penzer: The crowd isn’t liking this at all. Not one bit.

On a split screen, we see NEON watching on from the Camp Envi locker room with a devilish grin on her face.

Geoff Penzer: But guess who is? Well, well, well...

Envi continues to deliver the stomps. But Stryker is doing his best to fight through them. The ref continues to ask Stryker if he wants to give up. After he refuses, Envi reluctantly breaks the hold. He turns Stryker over onto his back, lifts the same leg back up, spins around it and goes for a figure four. But after the spin, Stryker reaches up, grabs him and brings him down into a modified small package.

After both grapplers return to their feet, Envi sends Stryker flipping down to the canvas with a step-up enzuigiri. He makes the cover.

Stryker gets his shoulder up.

Envi picks up Stryker and whips him into the corner. The Chief then runs over to attack when Stryker hoists himself up into a seated position on the top turnbuckle. He throws out a front kick to the face. This time, The Chief slams on the brakes and catches his foot. He then yanks Stryker off the top turnbuckle, sending him soaring out of the corner before crashing back-first on the canvas. After Stryker sits up, Envi runs up from behind and blasts him with a soccer kick to the back. The thud from the kick can be heard throughout the arena. Stryker groans before slowly turning over into the prone position. Envi reaches down and slowly pulls up Stryker from behind by the back of the hair. He then goes for a German Suplex. But Stryker hooks one of his legs around one of Envi’s, blocking the move. Envi tries to muscle him up for another German. This time, Stryker begins kicking his feet rapidly as soon as he’s lifted off the ground. After Envi lowers him back down, he lets go, only to blast Stryker in the back of the neck with a European Uppercut. The move sends Stryker staggering over into the ropes. Noticing Stryker’s positioning, Envi runs up from behind and goes for an O’Connor Roll into a German Suplex. But somehow, Stryker’s able to flip through the air and land on his feet. As Envi’s turning over and trying to get off the mat, Stryker runs back over and plants him with a spiking hurricanrana! He makes the cover.

Envi gets his shoulder up.

Stryker picks up Envi, moves him into the corner and nails him with a back elbow to the face. He then rocks Envi with a forearm strike to the jaw before following up with another back elbow to the face. He then takes Stryker and sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Stryker runs across the ring, hits Envi with yet another back elbow and follows up with a CCS Enzuigiri. Envi staggers out of the corner before crumbling to the mat. While Envi’s down, Stryker heads back into the corner. He then scales ot the top turnbuckle and flips back for a corkscrew moonsault. But Envi rolls out of the way, causing Stryker to crash onto the canvas.

Geoff Penzer: Nobody was home on that one!

When Stryker slowly gets up on his knees, Envi nails him with a superkick. He then blasts Stryker with a Buzzsaw Kick before delivering an Axe Kick that knocks him down! Envi drops down and makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up.

Geoff Penzer: Envi hit Stryker with a barrage of kicks. But the self-proclaimed Father of Flashpoint withstood the onslaught of Envi’s educated feet!

Envi picks up Stryker and whips him into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Envi dazes him with a Pop-Up Elbow. He then quickly grabs Stryker from the side before bringing him down with a Saito Suplex. He makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up.

Envi pulls up Stryker and sends him into the corner with an irish whip. After hitting Stryker with a running European Uppercut, Envi goes to follow up with a running bulldog when Stryker shoves him off into the ropes. When Envi returns, he knocks Stryker down with a running European Uppercut. He drops down and makes the cover.

Stryker gets his shoulder up.

Envi sits up Stryker and places him in a rear chinlock. The ref gets down and asks Stryker if he wants to give up. But Stryker refuses. So Envi pulls back on the hold. The crowd here in Evansville begin to rally behind Stryker. The former 15 Champ begins to shake his arm as he feeds off the energy from the crowd. He slowly turns over onto his knees while Envi shakes his head in disbelief. After getting back to his feet, he nails Envi with multiple elbows to the midsection. Once the hold is broken, he motions to run into the ropes when Envi reaches out, pulls him back and nails him with a forearm strike to the lower back. He then grabs Stryker’s arms and delivers repeated straightjacket backbreakers. He drops down and makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up. Envi holds up three fingers at the ref.

Envi picks up Stryker and throws him down with a scoop slam. After dragging Stryker into position, Envi turns and heads into the corner. He begins to climb the turnbuckles. Once he reaches the top, Stryker runs over and pushes his legs out from under him. The crowd cheers when Envi slips and ends up crotched on the top turnbuckle! Stryker climbs up the turnbuckles from behind and sits down on the top ropes. After grabbing Envi from behind, Stryker leans back and throws him down with a Spider Suplex! As Envi slowly turns over onto his back, Stryker sits up. Stryker climbs up onto the top turnbuckle, flips back and connects with a corkscrew moonsault. He hooks the leg.

Stryker gets up, steps over Envi, quickly heads back into the corner and springboards to the top turnbuckle. He then flips off and crashes down on Envi with a Phoenix Splash!

The crowd gasps, then cheers and boos when Envi gets his shoulder up. Stryker pulls up Envi and brings him down with Stryke 2 (leg-hook Saito Suplex). He then steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. From there, Stryker flips off and goes for the Air Stryke (Shooting Star Press). But at the last second, Envi gets his knees up. The crowd gasps, then cheers and boos when Stryker crashes down across them. He then bounces five inches in the air off of Envi’s knees before rolling across the ring.

Geoff Penzer: Envi got his knees up at the last second! That may have just knocked the wind right out of Stryker.

Stryker slowly crawls across the ring before pulling himself in the corner using the ropes. As Stryker turns around, he gets nailed with a running European Uppercut. Envi then delivers alternating knife edge chops and European Uppercuts. Envi delivers a “WOO!” between each strike. He then brings Stryker from out of the corner with a running bulldog. As Stryker turns over onto his back, Envi heads into the corner and begins climbing the turnbuckles. Once he reaches the top, he flips back and connects with The Classics (diving moonsault). He hooks the leg.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up!

Geoff Penzer: Stryker is still in this match, ladies and gentlemen!

Envi picks up Stryker and goes for an Olympic Slam when Stryker slips down from behind. He then grabs Envi and goes for another Stryke 2. But Envi nails him with repeated elbows to the back of the head. He then grabs Stryker from behind and lifts him up for a German Suplex. But Stryker reverses into a wheelbarrow victory roll.

Both grapplers try and scramble back to their feet. Envi beats him back to a vertical base and quickly follows up with a Shining Axe Kick to the head. He then pulls Stryker back up before sending him into the ropes with an irish whip. When Stryker returns, Envi brings him down with a Kapowski Kick! The Chief then drags Stryker into position before stepping out the apron. Envi climbs to the top turnbuckle, flips off and crashes down on Stryker with Helter Skelter (450 Splash)! He hooks the leg.

The cheers and boos continue as Envi gets his arm raised in victory. A shot to the back reveals NEON celebrating Envi’s win.

Flashpoint interview Amanda Harrington is standing backstage in front of the black and orange Flashpoint backdrop.

Amanda Harrington: Ladies and gentlemen, Chandler Scott.

Cheers resonate throughout the arena, as well as catcalls from the female fans in attendance, as Chandler Scott steps into the picture. But he isn't all smiles. We see the stern look on his face as he slowly removed his shades, folds them up and stuffs them in his polo shirt pocket.

Amanda Harrington: Chandler, in just a few weeks, you'll be stepping back into the ring with Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine at Grapple Kingdom. I'm sure you've got a lot on your mind after everything that's happened.

Chandler gives Amanda a puzzled look.

Chandler Scott: Who, me? Having something on my mind? Why would I have things on my mind, Amanda? It's not like Tony attacked me from behind two weeks ago. It's not like he added insult to injury and put me in my own move. But oh wait. That's exactly what happened, didn't it? Remind me, Amanda. Before two weeks ago, when was the last time Tony got one over on me?

Amanda Harrington: I believe it was at Final Frontier, when he lowblowed you and then attacked you after your Six Man Tag match.

Chandler Scott: And remind me again, Amanda, when did Tony get one over on me the time before that?

Amanda Harrington: Hmmm... this might be before my time since I wasn't in FGA back then. But I believe it was a about a little over two years ago when he attacked you after a match against Cyncity.

Chandler Scott: Ding... ding... ding. Are you noticing a trend here? Are you noticing a pattern? Now I'm not totally blameless. After what he did at Final Frontier, I should have known that he would have tried something again. That's on me. But at Grapple Kingdom, he isn't going to be attacking me from behind. He isn't going to be attacking me after a match. He'll have to stand there, face to face, with the DNA of FGA. He's going to have to stand there and look me in the eyes like the man he tries so hard to be... and give me his best shot. But no matter what he throws... no matter how hard he throws it, I'll answer back. And I'll knock him out. See, Amanda. This isn't about wins and losses. To me, this isn't about trying to move myself up rankings or position myself for a title shot. This is personal. This has been something that's been brewing for a long, long time and now, finally, it comes to a head in two weeks in Chicago.

A beat.

Chandler Scott: You know, Tony, you love to run your mouth and talk about how you're the reason for FGA's success. How you're the reason for FGA's growth. How you're the reason that we're here on FX. But your most egregious lie of all is that you're somehow the cause of all my success. Somehow, in your little twisted mind, you've convinced yourself that you're the reason for everything I've done here in FGA. Amanda, for a man that always talks about facts, he sure as hell never states them. So let me hit you with a couple actual facts, Tony. Fact. I was already a top champion in two separate companies before I was even aware of your existence. Fact. I was already the man while you were stuck in HKW: Developmental Version behind the likes of Gwen Massey and Cain Morgan. Fact. I was main eventing the O2 while you were stuck in some sweatbox in Philadelphia. Fact. My career was certified long before I graced you with my presence. Fact. Yeah, that #Fratdaddies stable might have been your idea. But from the word Go, you were always number two. Just like you quickly found yourself as number two in The New Kingdom. Tony Carmine, second-in-command in his own creations. Heh. Though that was a much better spot than where you're at right now. Which, in HKW, means being the fifth wheel in UE. And in FGA, which means being a dead man walking. Which you'll continue to be until I put you out of your misery at Grapple Kingdom.

A roar of cheers from the crowd.

Chandler Scott: The bottom line is that you never added jack to my career, just like you never added jack to the career of Johnny Cannon, a man who was already a Triple Crown Winner long before he ever stepped foot through these doors. Yet here you are, in 2018, running his name through the mud. Here you are in 2018 talking trash with the same lips you kissed his ass with for all of 2016. Pfft. Typical Tony Carmine. He's always That Guy next The Guy, but he isn't clutch enough to become The Guy. Typical Tony. Always quick to claim someone else's accolades as his own. Always quick to take responsibility for everyone else's success. Yet he's never man enough to look himself in the mirror and take responsibility for his failures.

An "oooooooo" resonates from the Evansville crowd.

Chandler Scott: But once again, Typical Tony. It's neeeeeeever your fault when things go south. It's neeeeeeeeever your fault when you continue to choke every time you can't win a top title. It's aaaaaaalways someone else's fault. It's always politics, isn't that right, Tony? Isn't that your go-to move? "They" held me back. "They" never wanted me to win. "They" never wanted me to have keys. Sure thing, Khaled. Sure thing.

A smirk from Chandler.

Chandler Scott: I said three and a half years ago that you had the talent to be a future World Champion. And maybe if you had actually pulled your head out of your ass at some point and used your God given talent, you would've been one. But you're not. Because you're too busy being concerned with style over substance. You're more concerned with sizzle instead of steak. You're more concerned with attention-seeking stunts and being a glorified Shock Jock instead of getting the job done inside the ring with actual wrestling. And when you fail to get the job done, you tuck your tail between your legs like the coward that you are and you leave. Just like you left HKW the first time when you couldn't get the job done. Just like you left FGA after the Five Year Anniversary Show when you couldn't get the job done. Just like you left SAP last year when you couldn't get the job done. Just like you'll more than likely leave FGA and HKW in the coming months if you can't cut the mustard yet again.

Another beat.

Chandler Scott: And you know what? I don't feel sorry for you. I don't have any pity for you. You could have came back to this company, gotten your act together, and been in the mix when it came to the Undisputed Championship. Instead, you chose to target me. You chose to come after me and attack me. You chose to piss me off! And you, of aaaaall people, should know about how unwise of a decision that was to make. And I think you're slowly figuring that you. I think that over the past week or so, you've finally realized just how screwed you really are. That's why you've been as quiet as a Church mouse. That's why no one has seen you on these airwaves. It's because you know that at Grapple Kingdom, no amount of begging and pleading is going to save you. "My bad, Chandler" isn't going to save you. "I just got carried away, Chandler" isn't going to save you. This pay per view may have the word "Grapple" in it. But I'm not interested in trading holds and counters and reversals. I'm not coming to Chicago to put on a technical showcase with you. I'm coming to the Windy City to do the wrestling world a service by beating the ever living sh*t out of you.

The crowd roars with cheers. A "CHANDLER!" chant breaks out, which Chandler lets die down before continuing.

Chandler Scott: At Grapple Kingdom, every head will bow and every tongue will confess that...

Crowd: CHANDLER REIGNS SUPREME!

Another roar of cheers from the crowd.

The lights in the arena slowly fade to darkness. While this hushes some members of the audience, others grow loud in anticipation. “Deadcruiser” hits the PA system and a silver-blue strobe begins to dance near the top of the ramp, revealing a feminine figure with a hoodie thrown over wrestling gear, back turned toward the ring. As the lights in the arena begin to systematically brighten, it becomes clear that the figure is Ashlyn De Luca. The arena plunges into darkness once more, earning a cheap pop from the live audience for theatrics-- before all of the lights scream to life, casting a blinding glow down on the pair at the top of the ramp. While Ashlyn De Luca now faces the ring, arms still above her head, our camera swing to reveal Logan standing with his back to hers, arms held out straight to the side. Ashlyn lowers her arms, pointing a two-handed “finger gun” toward the camera with a smirk, though she abandons it as she and the hooded Logan Alexander abruptly part, marching toward the ring with a purpose.

Melanie Sierra: The following six man tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 368 pounds! They are the reigning FGA World Tag Team Champions, Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca… THE CHAOTICS!!!

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, Ashlyn pauses just once to survey the audience while Logan walks to the ring apron, stepping inside. Ashlyn ever-so-faintly smiles into the audience again before rushing to the barricade. Our hard camera takes over, with Ashlyn leaping onto the barricade, arms wide as she screams back out into the raucous audience. Behind her, Logan mounts the bottom-and-middle ropes, arms held to his side in a similar pose. Ashlyn drops from the barricade, sliding into the ring beneath the ropes and Logan, hopping to her feet on the opposite side of the ring, screaming out into the other side of the audience as they rise to their feet. Logan drops down from the ropes and bumps forearms with De Luca in the center of the ring as they pass each other, mounting opposite corners to look out into the masses. The Chaotics remove their hoodies, tossing them simultaneously into the crowd as their music fades.

Geoff Penzer: The Chaotics will finally get their chance to put Smart Style in their rearview for good at Grapple Kingdom 2 when the Tag Titles are on the lin. But before that, they get the chance to head into their championship match with a bit of momentum here tonight. De Luca’s injured leg still has to be a cause of concern thought, especially with a big championship match on the horizon.

“Lose My Breath” by Destiny's Child starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up.

She does an athletic somersault forward to take her half down the ramp and then rushes the ring, using her hands to push her up onto the apron as she slides under the bottom rope and pops up, giggling and blowing kisses to the fans, winking at the referee and waving to the ring announcers cheerily.

Geoff Penzer: It’ll be interesting to see how Noelle Smith and De Luca can coexist here in this one given their rocky history in recent years. Both claimed that they’ll have the others back earlier tonight. But it’ll still be something to pay attention to.

The arena lights slowly dim as the doom-laden synths of “Another Chance” blast out across the arena, and as they dim blue lights fill the entranceway, growing in brightness as the music gets more intense, and as the main hook grows the pairing of Mark Bisley emerge at the top of the ramp, Bisley with an arm raised as he surveys all before him while Majima wears a stony expression

As they walk down the ramp, Bisley stops and holds his arms apart and tilts his head back to tell the entire arena he is here, while Majima stands directly behind him with his arms held aloft as he looks directly towards the ring, with the pair almost resembling the Vitruvian Man as they do this

Melanie Sierra: And their opponents! First, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 443 pounds! They are the team of Mark Bisley and Shintaro Majima… SMART STYLE!!!

Making their way to ringside, Bisley lifts himself onto the apron and adopts a kneeling position, pointing to the side of his head a couple of times, while Majima stands beside him and removes his sunglasses, looking out into the crowd. A moment later, Majima steps into the ring while Bisley rolls under the ropes before getting back to a knee in the ring, running his hand on the canvas to say this is my ring while Majima stands behind him rubbing the back of each hand in his palms.

Geoff Penzer: The team of Smart Style have an opportunity to soften up The Chaotics in the leadup to their match in two weeks at Grapple Kingdom. Will De Luca wrestle conservatively? Will she remain on the outside or will she be in the thick of things. With so much on the line, it wouldn’t shock me to see Smart Style try and take out De Luca before the pay per view.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

Inside me a light was turned on…

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

Then I was alive!

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

Melanie Sierra: And their partner, from Las Vegas, Nevada! She is the reigning FGA United States Champion, SAVANNAH TAYLOR!!!

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. Taking the championship belt from around her waist, she hands it to the referee. She then stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Geoff Penzer: Savannah Taylor had a lot to say about Noelle Smith earlier tonight. These two will be squaring off a Grapple Kingdom 2 in a rematch for the United States Championship. Though I’ve got to question how wise it is on Taylor’s part to seemingly brush Smith off to the side as a non-threat. On any given day, Smith is more than capable of beating any on this roster. If I were her, I wouldn’t look past Smith.

The bell sounds as Smith runs across the ring and sends Taylor flying into the corner with a running front dropkick.

Geoff Penzer: Smith’s taking it right to Taylor!

Smith quickly returns to her feet, lunges into the corner and connects with a jumping knee strike to the ribs. While Taylor’s doubled over, Smith places her in a Muay Thai Clinch and delivers hard knee strikes to the face. The last of which sends Taylor slumping down in the corner. But Smith doesn’t let up, She hits Taylor with repeated Muay Thai front kicks to the chest. The ref then steps in and moves Smith back. But Smith brushes right past the ref and marches back into the corner. While Taylor struggles to pull herself up using the ref, Smith marches back into the corner and bashes her with repeated forearm strikes. The last of which send Taylor slumping back down in the corner. The ref then once again gets in between the US and her number one contender and moves Smith back.

Geoff Penzer: Smith has not forgotten those stomps to the back of the head in their US Title match from a month ago!

Smith once again moves the ref to the size as she goes after the current US Champion. After she pulls up Taylor in the corner, the crowd boos when Taylor rakes her across the eyes. She quickly takes advantage of the opening by grabbing Smith, walking over into her team’s corner and slamming Smith face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Taylor around, she performs a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. The crowd continues to boo Taylor while the ref gives her until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Taylor reluctantly lets go before tagging in Shintaro Majima. The Strong Style Savior steps into the ring and hits Smith with a backhand chop. After guarding her chest, Smith comes back with a chop of her own. Majima then delivers a harder backhand chop. After Smith doubles over, she stands back up and nails Majima with a knife edge chop. She then cuts him off by hitting with a forearm strike. The cheers continue as Smith hits him with two more forearm strikes. She then turns to Mark Bisley and knocks him down with a forearm strike. She then goes after Taylor. But the US Champion hops down to the floor, resulting in boos from the crowd. Majima then turns Smith around and unleashes a series of machinegun chops. He then brings Smith from out of the corner and whips her into the far ropes. When Smith returns, she sees Majima setting up for a back body drop. So she stops, places him in a Muay Thai Clinch and delivers multiple knee strikes to the face. The last of which drops Majima down to a knee. Instead of continuing her attack on Majima, Smith turns, charges over to the corner and goes to attack Taylor again. But like last time, Taylor hops down to the floor to safety. The crowd erupts with boos while the Las Vegas Siren taunts Smith from the floor. The boos quickly switch to cheers when Smith’s had enough of Taylor’s taunts and goes after her on the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Smith’s had enough of Taylor and is going right after her!

Taylor turns and rounds the ringpost. But Smith is right after her. Taylor then rolls back into the ring. Smith slides in right after her. Smith gets to her feet and runs at Taylor. But she’s quickly blindsided by a running forearm smash from Majima. Taylor then moves Majima to the side before putting the boots to Smith.

Geoff Penzer: Oh, NOW she wants to fight Smith. Unbelievable!

The ref heads over and scolds Taylor before instructing her to get back on the apron. Taylor smirks at the downed Smith before exiting the ring.

Back inside, Majima picks up Smith and whips her into the ropes. When Smith returns, Majima throws her down with a Uragaeshi (STO)! He drops down and makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Ashlyn de Luca rushes over and breaks up the pin with a stomp to the back. Majima turns and stares De Luca down while De Luca dares him to do something.

The Strong Style Savior yanks Smith up off the apron, marches back into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging in Bisley. The boos continue as “Smart” Mark steps in, turns Smith around and delivers a trio of chops. He then brings Smith from out of the corner and whips her into the far ropes. When Smith returns, Bisley goes for a back elbow to the face. But Smith ducks and runs into the ropes. Upon her return, Bisley throws out a clothesline. But again, Smith ducks before continuing to run the ropes. When Smith returns, Bisley throws out a superkick. But Smith is able to duck once again. When Smith hits the ropes, Taylor nails her with a knee to the lower back.

Geoff Penzer: Taylor with a blatant cheapshot!

Bisley then goes over, grabs Smith and brings her with a bridging northern lights suplex.

Bisley picks up Smith and sends her back into the ropes with an irish whip. When Smith returns, Bisley sets up for a back body drop. Smith takes advantage of his positioning and places him in a front facelock. The crowd erupts with cheers at seeing Bisley set up for the Swing, set, Match (swinging neckbreaker). But before she can deliver her finisher, Bisley quickly slips out and shoves her into the ropes. Bisley runs his hands through his hair after the close call. While Smith rests with her back on the ropes, De Luca heads over and tags herself in.

Geoff Penzer: Bisley’s lucky he was able to slip out or else this match would have been over! Now here comes De Luca...

De Luca steps into the ring and points right at Bisley. “Smart” Mark smirks as the two circle the ring. The two continue to circle the ring until Majima leans over and tags himself in. Bisley does a double take as The Strong Style Savior gets back in the ring. He then gives Bisley a nod to the left, motioning for him to leave the ring. Bisley looks back over at De Luca and reluctantly leaves.

Majima heads over to De Luca and can be seen mouthing “I meant what I said earlier…” But De Luca isn’t having any of it and answers back with a forearm strike to the face.

Geoff Penzer: De Luca doesn’t believe a word Majima says and neither do I!

The cheers continue as De Luca moves Majima back into the corner with repeated forearm strikes. Majima then shoves De Luca back to create distance between the two. De Luca rushes back towards the corner to attack. But Majima drops her to the mat with a single leg takedown. Majima then drags De Luca towards the center of the ring with the injured leg. But instead of attacking the leg, Majima simply lets go, steps back and motions for De Luca to return to her feet. De Luca gives Majima a curious look while Logan Alexander narrows his eyes at Majima. De Luca cautiously steps back to a vertical base.

Geoff Penzer: What was that all about?

De Luca and Majima circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, De Luca places Majima in a side headlock. She then performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. The hold doesn’t stay on for long as Majima leans forward and reverses into a hammerlock of his own. He then turns De Luca back towards her before dropping her to the mat with a double leg takedown. While he’s got a hold of De Luca’s legs, he once again declines the opportunity to go after the injured leg and instead, lets go and steps back. Bisley can be seen shouting at Majima and telling him to go after the leg. But a look from Majima causes Bisley to reluctantly pipe down.

Geoff Penzer: I don’t know what to make of this. Majima has refused to go after De Luca’s injured leg.

De Luca gets back to her feet. She remains confused at the restraint being shown by Majima. Alexander can be seen trying to read Majima’s intentions. Both Majima and De Luca head back towards the center of the ring and go for another lock up. This time, De Luca drops down, goes behind and places Majima in a waist lock. But Majima breaks free after a back elbow to the face. He then runs forward into the ropes. When Majima returns, De Luca knocks him down with a dropkick. After taking Majima off his feet with a second dropkick, De Luca takes Majima and whips him into the corner. She then runs across the ring, leaps up as best she can and connects with a hesitation dropkick. The Strong Style Savior staggers out of the corner. When he drops down to a knee, De Luca heads into the ropes, comes back and spikes him with a basement hurricanrana. She makes the cover.

De Luca picks up Majima, wrenches his arm, drags him over towards the corner and tags Alexander in. The crowd cheers as Chaos Stryke gets in and doubles over Majima with a punch to the midsection. He then takes the Strong Style Savior, wrenches his arm and tries to yank the arm from out of its socket over and over. Majima eventually drops down to a knee. The ref kneels down and asks Majima if he wants to give up. But The Strong Style Savior refuses. After getting back to his feet, he takes his free arm and moves Alexander into the ropes before shoving him off into the far ropes. When Alexander hits the ropes, Bisley nails him with a rope-assisted gamengiri to the back of the head. Alexander staggers away from the ropes. He then turns around and goes after Bisley. But Bisley drops down to the floor. When Alexander turns around, Majima knocks him over the top rope and to the floor with a running big boot to the face. While Bisley stomps on Alexander on the outside, De Luca steps back into the ring. When Majima turns around, De Luca runs across the ring, leaps onto Majima’s shoulders and delivers a hurricanrana, sending them both over the top rope and to the floor! Once De Luca gets up on the outside, Taylor knocks her down with an Asai Moonsault!

Geoff Penzer: Bodies are flying all over the place!

Smith steps through the ropes and makes her way across the ring. After heading into the corner, the crowd explodes with cheers when she delivers a springboard crossbody block, knocking everyone down on the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Now Noelle Smith takes everyone out!

Smith picks up Majima and slams him face-first onto the apron before pushing him back into the ring. She then takes Bisley, slams him face-first onto the apron and whips him down to the right side of the ring. She then takes Taylor, slams her face-first onto the apron and whips her hard into the guardrail. The cheers continue as Smith charges down ringside and crashes into Taylor with a flying knee strike.

Alexander rolls himself back inside. He picks up Majima and whips him into the ropes. When Majima returns, Alexander scoops him up from the side and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He then pulls Majima back up, grabs him from the side and delivers a russian leg sweep. After heading into the corner, Majima hoists himself up onto the middle ropes before coming down across Majima with a diving elbow drop. He makes the cover.

After De Luca lands on her feet, she rushes back over into the corner. She throws out a bicycle kick. But Majima catches her and counters with a capture suplex into the turnbuckles!

Geoff Penzer: That’s gotta be it right there!

The boos continue while Majima drags De Luca from out of the corner before making the cover.

Majima rolls over and tags in Taylor. The Las Vegas Siren steps through the ropes and marches across the ring to stop De Luca. The Tag Champ is trying to crawl towards her corner. But Taylor grabs her by the ankle of her injured leg. She taunts De Luca while De Luca keeps her arm stretched out. The taunting stops when De Luca jumps over and tags Smith back in!

Geoff Penzer: De Luca made the tag!

The crowd cheers when Smith steps back. Taylor runs over attack. But she gets nailed with a forearm strike to the face. The cheers continue while Taylor gets knocked back with repeated forearm strikes to the face. Smith then drops her to the mat with a double leg takedown. Smith mounts herself on top of Taylor and rains down 12-to-6 elbows to the face! The onslaught continues until Bisley runs over and knocks Smith off of Taylor with a running shoulder block. De Luca then springboards onto the top turnbuckle, leaps off and drives Bisley down with diving double knees! After she rolls off of Bisley, Majima scoops her up across his shoulders for the Kurimuzon Taki (Emerald Flowsion)! But Alexander runs over and spears Majima, knocking both his partner and the Strong Style Savior down! When Alexander returns to his feet and turns around, Taylor catches him with the Ultimecia (spinning backfist) before bringing him down with Blonde Ambition (forward russian legsweep)! She then marches over, takes Smith and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Smith around, Taylor unleashes a flurry of right hands before sending Smith into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Taylor runs across the ring, nails Smith with a corner yakuza kick, brings her out of the corner, lifts her up and plants her with a brainbuster! While Smith is laid out in the ring, Taylor steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle.


Geoff Penzer: Taylor is seconds away from putting this one away!

Taylor leaps off and goes for a Frog Splash. Smith rolls out of the way, causing Taylor to crash onto the canvas.

Geoff Penzer: She missed! Taylor missed!

When Taylor gets up on her knees, Smith goes over and blasts her with a buzzsaw kick! She makes the cover.

Smith picks up Taylor and knocks her backwards into the corner with an uppercut elbow. Smith heads into the corner, grabs Taylor and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Smith runs across the ring to attack. But Taylor ducks and dumps Smith over the top rope. Instead of crashing to the floor, Smith lands safely on the apron. When she turns around, Smith knocks her back with a rope-assisted gamengiri. While Taylor is dazed, Smith knocks her down with a springboard flying knee!

Geoff Penzer: Flying knee right to the side of the head!

Before Smith can make the cover, Taylor rolls to the outside. So Smith turns and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, she leaps over the top rope and tags out to De Luca before knocking Taylor down with a suicide dive!

Geoff Penzer: Smith made the tag in mid-air before taking out Taylor on the outside!

While De Luca watches Smith, Bisley comes from out of nowhere and yanks her down to the canvas. On the way down, De Luca smacks her face hard against the apron! Bisley then rolls De Luca back inside. After Bisley rolls back in, he circles De Luca while she tries to get back to a vertical base. Once De Luca is back to her feet, Bisley charges from behind and connects with a chop back to the injured leg, taking De Luca down! The crowd erupts with boos while De Luca howls in pain.

Geoff Penzer: OH COME ON!

Alexander sees De Luca clutching her leg. He then looks over at Bisley taunting her. Alexander slides in, runs over, hurls himself at Bisley and delivers that spear that knocks Bisley over towards the ropes! He then mounts himself on Bisley and rains down with a flurry of right hands to the face. Alexander yanks up Bisley, turns and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor. After rolling to the outside, Alexander takes Bisley and whips him hard into the steel steps. Chaos Stryke marches over and pulls Bisley back up. After placing him in a front facelock, Alexander lifts up Bisley and plants him with the Chaotic Shockwave (Implant DDT) on the floor. Alexander stands tall over a laid out Bisley. When Alexander turns around, Majima runs over and clobbers him with a super stiff elbow strike from Alexander. The crowd eurps with boos as Alexander is out cold on the floor!

Near the end of the aisle, Taylor rakes Smith across the eyes as she tries to pick her up. After whipping Smith into the guardrail, Taylor rolls back inside. Her eyes light up as she looks over and see De Luca struggling to get back to a vertical base. When De Luca turns around, Taylor dives over and clips the front of her injured leg, sending De Luca flipping down to the canvas! The boos continue to rain down on Taylor turns her over into the Heartless Angel (stretch muffler)!

Geoff Penzer: That’s the same move she beat Noelle Smith with a month ago to win the US Title!

De Luca howls in pain while Taylor applies pressure to the injured leg. The ref gets down and asks De Luca if she wants to give up. When De Luca refuses, Taylor begins to stomp away on the back of her head.

Geoff Penzer: There she goes again!

Smith rolls back inside and tries to save De Luca. But she’s quickly grabbed by both members of Smart Style. Smith reaches out to De Luca while De Luca does the same. Taylor intentionally lets De Luca get closer to Smith before delivering more stomps to the head! De Luca and Smith reach out to each other. But it’s to no avail. De Luca tries to fight through the stomps. But like Smith a few weeks ago, she succumbs to them. Once the ref recognizes that De Luca is out cold, he moves Taylor off of her and calls for the bell.

The crowd erupts with boos as “Just Close Your Eyes” blares throughout the arena.

Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, SAVANNAH TAYLOR and SMART STYLE!

The boos continue as Taylor gets her arm raised in victory. After snatching her US Title from the ref, Taylor goes over, squats down in front on Smith and taunts her with the US Title by holding it in front of her face. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is our MAAAAAIN EVENT and it is scheduled for one fall!

“Lik Down” hits and the bass echoes around the arena fusing with a sea of boos from the audience and she glides with decorum laced arrogance acknowledging the crowd around her with glacial eyes and a sinister smile. She raises both her arms so they hang level with her shoulders and the white lights begin to flicker heavily as she lingers for a brief moment. She lowers her hands down onto the face of the FGA 15 Championship around her waist, grinning as the simple gesture elicits a chorus of boos from Evansville.

Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, on her way to the ring, hailing from Milan, Italy by way of Los Angeles… she is the FGA 15 Champion, “The Queen of Mean” NEEEEEEEEEOOONNNNNNN!

The lights suspend again and Neon makes her way down the ramp, painted with the same expression she arrived into the arena with, fixating her gaze solely on the ring, remaining ignorant to the fans around her that send floods of jeers her way. She takes her hoop earrings off as she is walking down and throws them to the floor casually.

Geoff Penzer: Neon crossed the line two weeks ago when she assaulted Cherry Baum backstage moments before Johnny Karma was set to compete in the main event against Ashlyn De Luca.

Karma’s attention is grabbed by the sound of a commotion and, looking up he sees what the commotion is all about - on the video screen, clear for all to see, is Cherry Baum laid out on the ground in the backstage area as she's grimacing in pain while clutching her wrist, and she’s surrounded by a group of referees trying to restore order as a couple of EMTs try and talk to her. For a moment Karma is frozen to the spot, struck dumb by what he sees on the screen as he finds himself trying to make sense of what he sees.

Geoff Penzer: Oh m..oh my God! What’s going on back there?!

As Karma looks on helplessly, one of the referees is suddenly shoved to the ground to clear a path to the fallen Cherry, and into that open space steps NEON to a howl of outrage from the Green Bay crowd, a howl that she appears to be able to hear backstage as a sick smile crosses her lips at the exact same time as the crowd register their disgust. Rather than be affected in any way by the crowd, or even the throng of referees in her way, Neon simply shoves her way past them so she can stand over Cherry and hurl abuse at her to add insult to what appears to be a significant injury.

NEON: You see what this is? This...

Neon points down to Cherry, a broad grin crossing her face as she looks toward the camera.

NEON: This is a power move. You’re welcome.

Inside the ring, the FGA 15 Champion grins as she looks at the Tron, now holding her belt in her hand. She grins and raises it above her head. The lights pulsate finally until they rest on a solid white and Neon walks slowly backwards into her corner, widening her smile and toying with her hair in her hands with one hand, holding her belt out for the referee to take with the other.

Geoff Penzer: Neon looks confident, but I don’t know if I’d be so comfortable if I were her. Johnny Karma is hungry for revenge. And he has every right.

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo, Johnny Karma storms out onto the stage, belt gripped in his right hand, abandoning his usual theatrics as he glares down into the ring, audience roaring at the sight of the Undisputed Champion.

Geoff Penzer: Here he is!

As he begins to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket, never taking his eyes off of Neon.

Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, hailing from Queens, New York, he is the FGA Undisputed Champion… JOHNNNYYY KAAAAAAAARMAAAA!

Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face the audience and slowly raising his Undisputed Championship before raising his index finger to let everyone know that he is #1, before he turns, eyes wide in anger, using that same finger to point at Neon to a roar from the audience.

Geoff Penzer: Target acquired!

Seething the longer he stares at her, Karma unzips his ring jacket and steps through the ropes. He seems ready to race across the ring and attack Neon, but shows restraint, turning to the corner and climbing to the second turnbuckles, raising his Undisputed Title in the air to a roar from the crowd-- but turns quickly, glaring back at Neon over his shoulder.

Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma strides across the ring, shoving the Undisputed Title into the chest of the referee, getting in Neon’s face, speaking quietly but sternly to her. The Queen of Mean smirks up at him, fingers clenching and unclenching fists.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen…

Most in the arena turn their attention to Melanie Sierra who makes an announcement in front of the timekeeper’s area.

Melanie Sierra: I’ve just been informed by General Manager Hadley Herrera that this contest is now an FGA 15 Championship match.

The audience roars in approval and Neon’s face immediately falls as she looks at the referee, who simply shrugs, explaining he had nothing to do with it.

Geoff Penzer: Wow!

Melanie Sierra: ...and in addition, all talent is banned from ringside for the duration of the match!

Geoff Penzer: WOW! Big news from backstage!

A ”YES!” chant begins to surface throughout the Ford Center! Neon looks absolutely beside herself! She begins yelling toward Melanie Sierra and the timekeeper, but Karma’s glare is still focused, unblinking and unflinching on Neon.

Geoff Penzer: This is the reaction I would expect.

The referee asks if both competitors are ready, but Neon is still glaring at the Melanie Sierra and the timekeeper. Sierra simply shrugs, stating ”I’m just the messenger” looking legitimately apologetic before Neon turns around, glaring at Karma. Johnny Karma seethes, yelling for the referee to ring the bell. The audience grows louder as Karma stalks closer to Neon, who takes a single step back. The referee turns to the timekeeper and raises his hand to signal for the bell…

...and Neon strides forward, unleashing a quick, vicious strike between the legs of the Undisputed Champion!

Geoff Penzer: Wha--

DING! DING!

The match begins a moment later as Karma collapses to his knees. The referee turns, eyes widening in realization as the 15 Champion stands in front of Karma, the scowl on her face turning into a smirk.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Neon rushes forward and blasts Karma with a Big Boot that takes the champion to his back! She drops down into the cover and though the referee appears to be at a loss, he drops down and makes the count to the chagrin of Evansville.

Karma kicks out and sits upright but Neon immediately transitions into a Sleeper, grinning at the audience who rise to their feet in a deafening chorus of boos for the second time in several seconds.

Geoff Penzer: The fans don’t like this and I can’t blame them but I don’t know what the referee is supposed to do in this situation. Neon struck Johnny Karma below the belt maybe a millisecond before that bell sounded. There’s no way this is how the Undisputed Champion envisioned this starting off!

The fans begin to clap in an effort to get behind Karma, but Neon breaks the hold in favor of rising to her feet, dropping pointed elbows on the collarbone and back of the head of Karma! Karma cries out, shaking slightly as he sits upright. Neon shoots the ropes and rebounds with a leaping hesitation dropkick to the base of the neck! Karma rolls to a knee, clutching his head as he stands up-- but the FGA 15 Champion rushes forward and nails a second hesitation Dropkick, this one straight to the jaw, sending Karma stumbling back into the corner! Neon rolls back over her shoulder and to her feet, rushing forward to nail a Running Dropkick to the jaw of Karma, catching herself on the ropes with a grin to the audience as Karma stumbles out of the corner and falls to his knees. Neon pulls herself between the top and middle rope and out to the turnbuckle, ascending to the top as Karma reaches his feet... turning around into a Missile Dropkick that catches him under the chin! While some in the audience applaud the display, most erupt into boos as Neon slides into a cover, hooking the near leg!

Geoff Penzer: Impressive series there by the 15 Champion, and now a cover about a minute into this match, trying to end this early! There’s one! There’s two! There’s thrrrrr-- and Karma gets the shoulder up! Wow!

The audience applauds the Undisputed Champion, who rolls onto his knees, coughing heavily as he tries to push himself up.

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma is still feeling the effects of a truly vicious low blow, and Dropkick after Dropkick definitely didn’t help.

Neon glares at the ref as she pulls herself up, but she races into the ropes and rebounds, nailing Karma with a running forearm to the temple, taking him to his back. Neon hammers away with fists, prompting the referee’s five-count.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Neon breaks, raising her hands to show open palms to the referee before delivering a hard slap to the face of the Undisputed Champion. Johnny holds his jaw, narrowing his eyes as he lies on the canvas. He begins to sit upright, but Neon nails a stiff boot to his chest, taking him to his back. Karma sits upright again, but this time a boot to the jaw knocks him onto his back. Once more, Karma sits upright, redfaced and glaring at the 15 Champion, but once more, Neon steps back and lets out a shriek as she drives a Big Boot between his eyes, foot nearly following his head all the way to the canvas, landing with a stomp right next to the canvas. Neon sighs, turning to the audience, sticking her tongue out with a smirk as they rise to their feet to rain boos down on the “Queen of Mean” once more.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Geoff Penzer: Neon, taking some time to address the masses. Questionable move. As it is, she has a little under thirteen minutes left to put Johnny Karma away-- or we could see Johnny Karma walk out of Evansville, Indiana tonight as both the Undisputed and the FGA 15 Champion. That would be interesting. Either way, we could be moments away from history!

Neon turns, backing into the corner, one eye squeezed shut as she focuses on the stirring Undisputed Champion. Karma rises to his feet and Neon strides forward, blasting him with a Discus Elbow to a groan from the Ford Center! Karma goes stiff, raising a fist before falling to his back, eyes glassy. Neon drops an elbow across his chest for good measure as she leans across his upper-body for a cover, reaching over to grab the near leg.

The audience pops as Karma emphatically kicks out, but Neon sits upright, glaring at him over her shoulder.

Geoff Penzer: I can’t get over how confident Neon is just moments after having a tantrum in front of my table. Johnny Karma wants to decimate the Queen of Mean. He wants to rip her limb from limb for what she did to Cherry Baum two weeks ago but right now, he looks to be on the brink of suffering the same fate, just weeks away from Grapple Kingdom 2!

Neon moves behind Karma, eyes narrowed as he begins to push himself up… and once he reaches a seated position, Neon raises both hands into the air in a double “V” signal a la Evan Envi, earning a thunderous chorus of boos from the Ford Center. Neon smirks and brings her palms together around Karma’s jaw, placing him in a crossface-style Chin Lock, driving a knee into his spine. Karma groans in pain, reaching out for the ropes while Neon grins at the audience again, screaming “where’s Cherry?!” at the top of her lungs. More boos rain down on the 15 Champion and she smirks, wrapping her arm around Karma’s neck, taking him to the mat with a grounded chin lock.

Geoff Penzer: Neon is slowing this match down and that might be a smart move. She’s done a great job thus far of neutralizing the fire we saw the Undisputed Champion come out here with.

Karma begins to pull himself up onto an elbow. Neon wrenches the hold around his neck, but Karma gets a knee beneath himself.

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma’s trying to fight his way back to his feet!

Now up to a knee, Karma drives an elbow into Neon’s gut once… twice… thrice… and Neon releases before hitting Karma with a hard elbow strike to the back of the neck, sending a shot echoing throughout the Ford Center. Karma reels and Neon rushes past him, shooting the ropes-- and rebounds right into a Running European Uppercut, sending her corkscrewing through the air and roughly to the mat to an eruption from Evansville!

Geoff Penzer: The NYC Uppercut brings Evansville to its feet!

We cut to a shot of the backstage area where we see Evan Envi pacing back and forth, eyes glued to a monitor in the backstage area. He’s mumbling under his breath, but we cut back to the ring as Johnny Karma rises back to his feet alongside Neon. Turning, he drives a boot into her gut and applies a hammerlock before delivering a Hammerlock Suplex! Neon clutches her arm as she rises to her feet, but Karma applies a hammerlock again and twists her into the DDT!

Geoff Penzer: Dynamite Karma and Instant Karma back-to-back! Karma’s going for the cover-- no!

Karma stops himself before covering Neon. He glances toward the Tron which displays how much time has elapsed in the 15 Title match-- seven minutes and twenty-five seconds. He turns back toward his grounded opponent, eyes narrowing into a glare, audience growing loud behind him.

Geoff Penzer: Karma says “not yet.” He’s got plenty of time to inflict more punishment and that’s exactly what he’s going to do!

Karma forces Neon to her feet and Irish Whips her across the ring. Neon rebounds and Karma hoists her up, pivoting to drive her to the mat with a Spinebuster! Neon clutches the back of her head and Karma rises upright, taking a breath before he bends down, grabbing a handful of the 15 Champion’s hair. The referee scolds him, but Karma instructs him to ”move!” as he forces Neon to her feet and, with a running start, launches Neon full-force into the corner! Neon flips upside-down, crashing violently into the turnbuckles!

Geoff Penzer: Good God…!

Dazed and shaken, Neon uses the ropes to pull herself up. Karma stares at her from the center of the ring, seething. As Neon reaches her feet, Karma charges full force, blasting her with another European Uppercut, taking her off of her feet and through the ropes, out to the apron and roughly to the floor! Neon cries out, rolling across the floor with a look of anguish on her face. She staggers to her feet against the ringside barrier, earning boos and jeers from the fans around her. She glares at them, turning back toward the ring right as Karma runs at the ropes full-force and slides beneath the bottom, nailing a Baseball Slide Clothesline that flips Neon onto her stomach! Karma pauses in front of the barrier, looking out into the masses as they rise to their feet.

Geoff Penzer: One shot after another. While someone like Brian Stryker might be loving this, you have to imagine #47 is in the back, worried for Neon’s wellbeing.

Karma turns, picking Neon up and sliding her into the ring beneath the bottom rope. He follows her inside as she tries to scramble to her feet. Karma grabs Neon by the hair once more to a warning from the ref-- and runs at the ropes, leaping over the top and dropping to the floor while snapping Neon’s throat across the top! “Macho Karma” sends Neon bouncing onto her back in the center of the ring while Karma climbs up onto the apron. He glares down at the fallen 15 Champion before making his way to the turnbuckles, groggily ascending to the top to the delight of the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: Karma is still a little dazed from the early onslaught, but he’s in position now! From the Stars Above!

Karma stands on the top turnbuckle before leaping off for a picture-perfect Flying Elbow Drop…

Geoff Penzer: Oh--!

...and Neon rolls out of harm’s way! Karma smashes into the canvas, bouncing roughly from the impact! Neon wastes no time rolling him into a La Magistral while boos rain down on the ring.

Geoff Penzer: That-- was that it?!

The audience seems shocked as well, reaching a fever pitch but the referee indicates that Karma kicked out just in time! Neon rolls across the ring, still unsure where she is. She sits on the middle rope, watching groggily as Karma pulls himself up on the other side of the ring. Karma pulls himself up, hunched over the middle rope as he catches his breath… and Neon sprints across the ring before kicking the middle rope upwards with all her might, catching Karma in the eyes! Karma cries out, staggering upright, first into a Reverse Fireman’s Carry! Neon struggles beneath the weight of the Undisputed Champion as she holds him in a Torture Rack-- before hoisting him up and dropping him back-first across both of her knees for a Lumbar Check Backbreaker, then transitioning into a Bow & Arrow!

Geoff Penzer: Neon with some innovative offense, bringing Karma down into the submission! We’re over eleven minutes into this 15 Title match and Neon is determined to either make Karma tap out or take him to the limit!

A ”NO!” chant surfaces among the audience in the Ford Center! Neon screams for them to ”shut up!” but Karma immediately begins to squirm in the Bow & Arrow. Face red in pain, Karma still manages to wrench an arm free. Neon drops Karma to a seated position and applies a rear naked choke with scissors, but Karma begins to pull himself up with Neon on his back! Neon drops to her feet, turning her back to Karma’s, reaching for a Neckbreaker-- but Karma stuns her with a back elbow to the side of her head! Neon reels and Karma drops her with a Shoulder Neckbreaker of his own! Neon pops into the air and drops to the canvas from the impact as Karma rises to a knee, seething again, audience growing louder the wider the Undisputed Champion’s eyes become!

Geoff Penzer: He’s feeling it now!

Neon clutches her neck, using her free hand to wave Karma off as she staggers upright, but Karma delivers a thunderous open left hand to Neon’s jaw to an ”OOOOOHHH!” from the crowd, stunning the FGA 15 Champion. Karma follows up with a second, and finally a third! He rears back for a right hook… but Neon ducks! She goes for a right hand of her own-- but Karma runs forward and blasts her with a European Uppercut! Neon falls against the ropes, but bounces back into another European Uppercut, followed by another, and another, and finally Karma cries out, grabbing a hold of Neon’s head and leaping into the air, driving a knee between her eyes!

Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma has come unhinged!

Neon collapses to a seated position, blood trickling down from her hairline. The referee warns Karma off, but Neon uses the referee’s shirt to pull herself up and lunge at Karma, blasting him with an elbow strike to the face. Karma staggers back-- and hits the rising Neon with a Superkick to the jaw!

Geoff Penzer: That sound! Check Your Chiclets! She’s stunned! Neon is out on her feet!

Neon falls forward, right into a modified side headlock into a Backbreaker from Karma! Neon goes stiff from the shot and Karma keeps a hold of her attire, grabbing her arm with his other hand and turns, launching her through the ropes and straight to the floor below! Neon lands hard on the floor for the second time. Karma steps out to the apron and glares down at her before backing up to the ringpost and stepping up to the second turnbuckle.

Geoff Penzer: What’s he thinking…?

Those in attendance inside the Ford Center are on their feet once more as Karma shoots a glance out into the masses before glaring down at Neon again and leaping from the turnbuckle, crashing down on Neon with an Elbow Drop to the outside! Neon cries out in pain, clutching her ribcage, kicking her feet!

Geoff Penzer: There’s less than a minute and a half for these two to fight it out, but the ref is counting!

”ONE!”


“TWO!”

“FOUR!”

Karma pulls himself up, bringing Neon up by the hair. He takes a breath, composing himself… before he cries out and rushes forward, launching Neon into the steel stairs! The steps come apart and the FGA 15 Champion sails through them, rolling across the floor.

Geoff Penzer: He snapped! Karma snapped!

”FIVE!”


“SIX!”


“SEVEN!”

Neon pushes herself up to her hands and knees as Karma leaps onto-- and off of-- the base of the steel steps and drives a double-axe handle into Neon’s back! Neon hits the floor and Karma pulls her up, throwing her into the side of the announce table!

Geoff Penzer: Things are breaking down!

Geoff Penzer stands upright, pressing his back against the barricade as Karma forces Neon up and throws her against the table a second time!

”EIGHT!”


“NINE!”


“TEN!”

Geoff Penzer: Wha- that’s it!

DING! DING!

The official calls for the bell with several seconds to spare in the match.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has declared that this contest is a double countout! Which means still your FGA 15 Cham--

Sierra screams, moving out of the way as Neon is hoisted up and thrown full-force into the timekeeper’s area! Meanwhile, Karma begins clearing off the announce table, throwing the cover and monitor aside while Penzer is visible on-camera, wide-eyed.

Geoff Penzer: Johnny, think about this!

Karma walks over to the bloodied Neon, who pushes herself up using a chair. She throws a hard punch at Karma, who takes it, head snapping back-- before delivering an uncharacteristic headbutt to the FGA 15 Champion, knocking her back into a seated position in the chair! Karma pulls her out of it and turns, throwing her on top of the announce table, prompting a bloodthirsty roar from Evansville.

Geoff Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m getting as far away from this table as my headset will allow. If you lose me, I’m sorry. Johnny Karma is out of control right now!

Karma climbs up onto the announce table, but the audience roars again, some booing as much of the attention shifts to something else in the arena! We see Evan Envi running down the ramp, a look of horror on his face as Karma stands on the announce table, gripping the arm of the barely-conscious Neon.

Geoff Penzer: Here comes the Chief!

Evan runs to the announce table, slowing to a stop as if Karma is wielding a loaded gun. He raises his palms, pleading with Karma to release Neon. The nearby microphones pick up some of Envi’s words.

Evan Envi: Stop. We don’t have to do this.

Boos slowly begin to rain down on the Chief as he places his hands together, begging Karma to release Neon. The Undisputed Champion angles his head, looking at Evan with a look that conveys ”really?” He shakes his head and pulls Neon up to her knees, glaring right into the eyes of the Chief. Karma cries out ”this is what happens!” before placing Neon in a standing headscissors!

Geoff Penzer: He’s gonna Piledrive Neon right through the table!

Evan runs forward and grabs Neon’s legs. She drops down and Evan drags her off of the table and to her feet.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Karma stares at Envi, breathing heavily. Evan turns, a hand on Neon’s cheek as he checks on her. Karma shakes his head in the background and leaps from the table, delivering an elbow to Envi’s skull!

Geoff Penzer: Envi made the save but he paid for it!

Envi falls to the floor, Neon falling back against the ring apron. She glares at Johnny Karma, who breathes heavily, face still red as he glares at her. Karma shakes his head, mumbling under his breath, wiping sweat from his face as he stalks closer. Neon’s face seems to twitch between a look of concern and a bitter smile. After a moment, however, Neon laughs aloud, squeezing her hand into a fist.

”JOHNNY KARMA!”

”JOHNNY KARMA!”

”JOHNNY KARMA!”

Neon glares at Karma and rushes forward, but Karma delivers a hard stomp to her gut! Neon falls to a knee and Karma places her in position for the Piledriver once more.

Geoff Penzer: Neon is about to be dazed and confused and all mess--

CLANG!

There is a collective gasp as Karma repositions himself just slightly, just in time to turn into the direction of an oncoming steel chair! Envi swings full-force, connecting with the skull of the Undisputed Champion!

Geoff Penzer: OH MY GOD!

Karma falls to the floor and Envi raises the chair above his head, bringing it down across Karma’s back once! Twice! Three times! Four times! Five! Six!

Geoff Penzer: Envi! What in the--?!

Boos rain down on Evan Envi as he throws the chair to the ground, pacing back and forth, screaming down at Karma.

Evan Envi: I told you to leave it alone!

Envi places a hand over his face, head hanging back as he takes a deep breath.

Geoff Penzer: Evan Envi just assaulted Johnny Karma with that chair!

Karma glares up at Envi, blood trickling down his face as he pushes himself up to his knees. Envi glares back at him, their looks picked up on camera. Evan shakes his head, clearly heard saying “don’t” to Karma. Another camera shows that Karma has a single laceration across half the length of his upper back from the chair shots…

...and out of nowhere he springs up, lunging onto Envi, tackling the number one contender onto the table! Roars surge throughout the Ford Center as the two roll across the top and tumble down to the other side-- but boos begin to rain down again as referees and security rush down the ramp from the backstage area!

Geoff Penzer: Hadley Herrera is sending security out here. And you can’t blame her. She’s invested a lot of time and money into this main event and it’s blowing up right in front of us here in Evansville!

Karma and Envi trade blows, but the considerably less-battered Envi gains the upperhand, choking Karma against the ground! Karma puts a hand over Envi’s face, pushing him back, forcing Envi to loosen his grip-- until he’s grabbed from behind by arena security and yanked to his feet. Karma is dragged away by two referees on the other side of the table.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Geoff Penzer: The fans may not like it right now but the General Manager has a responsibili-- OH!

Karma breaks free of the officials and rushes forward, delivering a clubbing blow to Envi’s head, followed by a second and a third! The security guard lets Envi fall and steps toward Karma-- but the Undisputed Champion floors him with a right hook! A second security guard moves forward, only to be caught with a boot to the gut before being thrown into the ring apron! Karma turns his attention back to Envi, who blasts him with a Kapowski Kick! Karma falls flat on his back and Envi mounts him, driving closed fists into Karma’s temple!

Geoff Penzer: We might not make it to Grapple Kingdom!

Envi is yanked to his feet again by another member of security, but a back elbow knocks the man back a few steps. As Envi tries to pull Karma up, he’s caught with a hard right hand to the face, dazing him. Karma reaches a knee… but security and referees get between either man before they can come near each other again, the audience reacting thunderously.

”LET THEM FIGHT!”

Karma is half-pulled, half-ushered in the direction of the ramp, screaming back at Envi through a crimson mask ”TWO WEEKS!” Held back by a quartet of arena security at ringside, Envi sneers in Karma’s direction, mouth bloodied.

Geoff Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, we’re about out of time! Johnny Karma and Evan Envi have been showing restraint for weeks, but tonight was the last straw for both men! In fourteen days at Grapple Kingdom 2, they’ll settle their differences with the FGA Undisputed Championship at stake! Guys, if it’s anything like this-- this will be absolute carnage!

We cut to a shot of the ramp, showing Karma’s glare down toward Envi, with Envi’s glare visible on the Tron in the background, both men pushed beyond their breaking point as the broadcast fades.
