We see Spencer Burke standing in front of the Vertigo backdrop putting on the most professional smile on his face that he can muster up after what just happened. He straightens up his tie just to be sure.
Spencer Burke: On the midst of what anyone would call a monumental upset...Dickie Harter just defeated Seth Iser and---
You hear a loud primal scream in anger that sounds like Seth Iser’s voice barging in and Vincent Moretti is the first to interject with his hair sticking straight up and a vein in his neck. The suit that he is wearing is also looking disorganized as he’s displeased. Iser lets out another yell in the background and you can hear some things being smashed but he isn’t in the view of the camera yet.
Vincent Moretti: We were VIOLATED Spencer. Dickie Harter didn’t win that damn match! He STOLE it like a thief! A criminal! This was a criminal act! And instead of justice...EVERYBODY cheered it! And he’s going to gloat and be proud of this day. Tyler Storm had no REASON to be out there! He has no manager license! I DO! I earned my legal RIGHT to be out there to manage MY client and what he did was ILLEGAL! This is an outrage!
Spencer Burke: Well true that he did interject himself but…
Vincent Moretti: I know right!? There is no real justice in this world! Bad things happen to good people while the wicked do wonderful things! And the masses are even more wicked than anything for cheering that monstrosity that just happened! They poopoo the fact that my client got assaulted by a damn dog and now this! What is wrong with the world Spencer? He pays his taxes. He’s a great father. He’s a willing teacher to how wrestling should be. He doesn’t deserve this!
Spencer Burke looks at Moretti as he’s sweating as that moment of panic is coming in and finally an absolutely infuriated Seth Iser has stepped into the shot.
Spencer Burke: Well don’t you think you two provoked this by---
Seth Iser: I’m cutting you off in mid sentence, boy. You keep your eyes open and your mouth shut or I’ll knock the crap out of you. Do you understand?
Spencer lets off a meek nod considering the larger man who is going off and ranting.
Seth Iser: Answer me with your voice! Do. You. Understand?
Spencer Burke: Yes sir.
Vincent Moretti: And hold the microphone right for him!
Moretti this time directs Spencer’s arm to put it in the appropriate position and he does wince a little at this gesture but Iser is just boiling red...almost shaking in his fury.
Seth Iser: I’ve been accused of being brutal...sometimes cruel and certainly an @$$h*le...but Tyler Storm just directly got involved in a match he had no business in. He can be mad at how his match with me went all he wants...but what if his little stunt failed and the ref actually did his job and caught him and got Dickie disqualified? He could have cost him money and not thought about it all because he’s blinded by his desire for justice and revenge. And this action was encouraged by these people…
Iser rolls his eyes in disgust but you can tell he’s getting ever so closer to exploding.
Seth Iser: And as I maintain...I taught him a lesson in the industry...just like I’ve taught him and helped him quite a bit...and THIS is how he repays me? He repays my kindness with THAT? I did RIGHT by you damn you. I told you how to come back from an injury! I taught you the harshness of the business and yet here you are...being a petulant little child costing ME money when I gave you lessons that were priceless. Is that the kind of thing your girl and kids want to look up to? Huh!?
Iser is starting to pace around slightly making it harder for Spencer to make sure the microphone is in front of him.
Vincent Moretti: Damn kids being ungrateful…
Seth Iser: You’re telling me! This is BULL(Bleep)!
Iser again just spits on the floor in absolute disgust and lets out another yell.
Seth Iser: You want my attention Tyler? Didn’t your father teach you this lesson when he was in the business? Be careful what you wish for...because now you have it! I’m going to get you back for what you just did to me. And I’m getting you back with interest…
Moretti nods his head in approval while Iser is continuing to rant in a deranged manner. He’s almost frothing at the mouth.
Seth Iser: I thought you were different than so many of these other wrestlers with what you stood for. You lied. You’re just like EVERYONE ELSE! Just like these idiots paying the tickets. Just like your damn friend Owen...just like everyone else. And you proved me wrong there. Damn near broke my heart in a way Tyler what you did. This feeling of how wrong I was is like a dull blade twisting and turning right in my stomach. Plus above all else...you took from me. And nobody...takes...from me...like that. Nobody.
Iser leans over and his voice is raised even higher in his fury.
Seth Iser: And the next time we have a match Tyler you’ll wish it was just a damn loaded pad...I’ll rip out your heart AND THROW IT RIGHT AGAINST THE DAMN WALL!
Vincent Moretti: And that...is your price that you will pay for your betrayal against my client.
Iser ends up shoving Spencer aside while stomping off still in a fury while Moretti follows his infuriated client. Spencer shakes his wrist slightly before nodding his head as we hear more things being thrown in the background.
