MAIN EVENT
Eight Man Tag Team Match
Heroes Never Die
Vs.
Chandler Scott, Noelle Smith, Elysian Empire
How many people wanna get this started?
(You know who you are)
From the front to the back do you want it?
“Adrenaline” by Nine Lashes sounds out from the speakers and the fans excitedly jump to their feet. The lights begin to flicker as the opening guitar rift sounds out. The Elysian Empire make their way from the behind the curtain led by Effie Elysian. Emery and Elon bump fist as Effie presents them to the cheering crowd. They flex their muscles to the crowd before making their way down the ramp.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Effie! They weigh in at a total combined weight of 495 pounds! They are Emery and Elon, the ELYSIAN EMPIRE!!!
Elon slides into the ring while Emery takes the ring steps. Effie takes the steps as well and Emery sits on the second rope allowing Effie to easily enter the ring. Elon has already begun to stretch using the ropes and turnbuckle. Emery joins him as Effie begins to coach her brothers up. As they stretch the music begins to fade. The brothers bump fists once more as the bell rings.
“Lose My Breath” by Destiny's Child starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up.
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my (hah hah)
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my breath (hah hah)J.A. Aldridge: And their partners! First, from Orlando, Florida… NOOOOEEELLLLE SMITH!!!
She does an athletic somersault forward to take her half down the ramp and then rushes the ring, using her hands to push her up onto the apron as she slides under the bottom rope and pops up, giggling and blowing kisses to the fans, winking at the referee and waving to the ring announcers cheerily.
The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Red lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd.
J.A. Aldridge: And their partner, from Hyannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 226 pounds… CHAAAANDLERRRR SCOTTTTT!!!
Chandler makes his way down to the ring with a smirk on his face. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while puts his hand above his eyes to scan the crowd. He smirks as he slowly slaps his chest three times before pointing to a lucky fan in the crowd. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins slipping off his jumpsuit and tosses it to the outside as he waits for his opponents.
Kris Cruise: Here we go, Stephy! Our huge main event is about to get under way! Team number one is in the ring right now and despite what you said earlier, this is still a solid squad. Each of them is a former champion!
Stephy Auger: Yeah, key word being “former” and that’s for a reason! About to come out next are current champions, Cruise!
"FxxK Wit Us" By Lee Hi
Ring Attire:
Purple and Hot Pink. Tank Top Tights for her top, with an open "boob window" (for lack of a better phrase) designed in the shape of a butterfly. Knee lenght tights with again a butterfly motif (with the wings wrapping around each leg) and standard wrestling boots. May or may not wear a butterfly designed lucha mask. Her whole attire is homage to her trainer Miyoko Kawashima.
Ring Entrance:
"They say, I have no answers...
They see me as a problem child.
I'm just young and free. (Ay Ay)
They say, I don't listen.
I should say the same thing.
What chu know 'bout me? (Huh?)
They say that I'm crazy.
Its okay, everybody is crazy.
Why not me? (Ay Ay)
They say, that I'll never make it.
But all I want to be is my self."
"FxxK Wit Us" by Lee Hi plays over the PA system as Yun Goeun comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. Yun smirks and ignores the boos as she walks partially down to the ring.
The lights go dim as the first drum beats of “Believer” by Imagine Dragons start. As the music kicks up, a single purple spotlight hits the stage, and the silhouette of Heather Lasiewicz is seen dancing. The camera gets a close-up and she’s seen clearly singing the first lines of the song with the music.
“First things first, Imma say all the words inside my head
I’m fired up and tired of the way that things have been, ooooohhhh
The way that things have been, ooooh”As she sings, she slinks towards the ring, the spotlight following her every step. Her body sways naturally to the beat of the song, acting out the words of the song as it plays out through the arena. Lasiewicz stops and joins Yun in the aisle.
There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.
Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.
On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.
Inside me a light was turned on…
The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.
Then I was alive!
In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
Drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
Drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
A final drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
The intro of Jadakiss's "The Champ is Here" plays as a precursor to Izzy Anders' arrival. The crowd already starts their intense jeers before the arena falls into darkness. Yellow and red colors fill the arena as the sky rains down small bits of gold. The camera shows many fans displaying their hatred with middle fingers and glares. "Kerosine Dreams" by DriveByWire plays out as Izzy Anders starts to make her way out.
"Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh!
Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh!
So sick of sitting around, there's so much to do
So jump abroad and let's look at you."
Showing the back of her coat and then swinging around to the championship glistening on her waist. It matches the stream of golden sparkles that accent her presence. When the camera pans upward, the arrogant gaze of Izzy Anders and all of her features are shown in full. She strokes her chin, grinning vehemently as she does. The champion enjoys the hatred she is facing. Unhooking the championship around her waist, Izzy proudly represents her status as both champion and antagonist by raising the championship and her middle finger. She begins to walk down the ramp, lowering her head to purposely block her gaze from the very fans she believes turned on her.
J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 501 pounds! They are the team of Yun Goeun, Heather Lasiewicz, the reigning Pride Champion Savannah Taylor and the reigning Undisputed Champion Izzy Anders… HEROES NEVER DIE!!!
Once the call came out, Izzy stops on the end of the ramp, lowering her finger and her championship. She dips downward and hurls the championship high up into the air into the ring and is immediately joined by Taylor, Lasiewicz and Yun inside. Yun slides in and quickly walks to her corner and sits down, crossing her legs as she does, leaning back against the lower turnbuckle.
While Taylor stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. Taking the championship belt from around her waist, she hands it to the referee. She then stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.
Heather grabs the ropes and lets herself fall back in a burlesque style dance move. She uses this momentum to hop onto the bottom rope, in turn using that momentum to flip herself over the top rope and into the ring.
Anders heads over to the nearest turnbuckle, taking her sweet time to remove her infamous eyepatch. The championship clatters against the mat, landing roughly. Izzy steps off the ropes and heads for the center of the ring. She takes off her coat and flings it off with her usual elegance brandish. Once it's out of the way, Izzy takes a seat in her usual off-center spot. She drags her championship close to her, draping across her lap. The Mindkiller narrows her belligerent focus onto the upcoming battle.
Kris Cruise: We saw Izzy Anders latest confrontation with Johnny Karma earlier tonight. We saw another puzzling confrontation with Chandler Scott and Heather Lasiewicz! Savannah Taylor had words for nearly every member of the opposition, as well as her number one contender, Chris Madison! We also saw Yun Goeun go at Karma! This fearsome foursome are creating enemies right and left! But right now, they have to worry about the formidable four opponents standing across the ring here in the main event!
Stephy Auger: You act as if they don’t have things under control. Anders has proven that she’s always five steps ahead. You think she would lead her teammates into battle unprepared? Never! They’ve got this!
The match starts with Izzy Anders starting things off for Heroes Never Die. In the other corner, Chandler Scott elects to start things off on his side. Anders narrows her eyes once she sees the DNA of FGA standing across the ring from her. The FGA Hall of Famer and the FGA Undisputed Champion make their way from out of their respective corners and begin to circle the ring. But the circling comes to a stop once they turn their attention to the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Listen to this crowd!
Stephy Auger: What do they know?
Let’s go, Chandler!
IZZY SUCKS!
Let’s go, Chandler!
IZZY SUCKS!!!
Let’s go, Chandler!
IZZY SUCKS!!!
Let’s go, Chandler!
IZZY SUCKS!!!
Anders narrows her eyes at the “hypocrites” that make up tonight’s crowd. Meanwhile, Scott smirked upon hearing the reaction from the crowd. He begins clapping his hands while he and Anders circle the ring. The two grapplers then stop to size each other up. As Scott motions to make his way over to Anders, he feels a hand slap across his shoulder. When Scott turns around, he sees Elon Elysian stepping through the ropes.
Kris Cruise: What was that?
There’s some slight boos heard throughout the crowd. But they aren’t booing because they dislike Elon. They’re booing because they thought they were going to see Anders and Scott lock horns again. Scott motions over towards Anders and let’s Elon know what he was about to do. But Elon pats him on the chest and let’s him know that he’s got this. Scott rolls his eyes before stepping back out onto the apron.
Kris Cruise: I like Elon’s enthusiasm. But sometimes he doesn’t make the best decisions.
Stephy Auger: Boy, that’s the understatement of the year...
Elon makes his way over to Anders. But instead of engaging in strikes or a collar-and-elbow, he points behind Anders and over towards the reigning Pride Champion, Savannah Taylor.
Kris Cruise: Oh my!
Anders looks over at Taylor, then back over towards Elon. Anders smirks before heading over and tagging Taylor in.
Stephy Auger: I guess Elon wants to fall victim to her for a second time.
The crowd erupts with boos once Taylor gets in. Just as she motions to go over towards Elon, she’s met with chants of…
MADISON!
MADISON!
MADISON!
MADISON!
Stephy Auger: Block it out, Taylor! They don’t know any better!
Taylor narrows her eyes upon hearing the support for her #1 contender. The Las Vegas Siren quickly snaps out of it once she feels Elon approaching. So Taylor quickly slips out of the way and keeps her distance from Elon until she’s ready. She then makes her way over towards Elon, fakes a lock up, goes under and behind before applies a waist lock from behind. The move doesn’t stay on for long as Elon reaches down, pulls Taylor’s arms from around his waist and reverses into an arm wrench. The ref asks Taylor if she wants to give up. But she refuses. She then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, spins in place and reverse into an arm wrench of her own. Elon then moves Taylor into the near ropes before shooting her off into the far ropes. When Taylor returns, Elon knocks her down with a running shoulder block. He drops down and makes the cover.

Elon brings Taylor back to her feet, delivers an arm wrench and throws her down to the canvas with a shoulder toss. Taylor gets back up, only to get sent back down with a fireman's carry takeover. After Taylor gets back up, Elon places her in a side headlock. He then performs a standing switch before throwing her to the mat with a waist long takedown. He then spins over on her back and applies a front facelock. The ref asks Taylor if she wants to give up. But the Pride Champ refuses. After battling back to a vertical base, Taylor moves over into the corner. After she grabs the middle rope, the ref gives Elon until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE…
As soon as Elon lets go, the crowd boos when Taylor nails him with a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. She then stands up before lighting up his chest with knife edge chops. After taking him by the arm, Taylor sends Elon into the opposite corner. Taylor runs across the ring to attack. But she gets dumped over the top rope by Elon. Once Elon turns around, he gets doubled over and knocked back with a shoulder thrust through the ropes from Taylor. The Pride Champion then runs up to the top turnbuckle and flips off for the Snake Eyes (diving somersault plancha). But Elon blocks the move, leaving Taylor hanging upside down.
Stephy Auger: Uh oh...
Elon lifts Taylor back up onto his shoulders, turns and goes for a running powerbomb. But at the last second, Taylor counters with a hurricanrana. When Elon returns to his feet and turns around, the crowd erupts with boos when Taylor connects with Cordy Stevenson’s Foot Fetish (jumping spinning back kick), knocking the powerhouse of the Empire through the ropes and onto the apron. As Elon pulls himself up onto the apron, Taylor runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she connects with a yakuza kick, knocking Elon off the apron and to the floor.
Stephy Auger: Looks like part of the Empire just fell, Cruise!
Kris Cruise: Elon did get rocked with those kicked, I have to admit.
While Elon tries to pick hismelf up on the outside, Taylor steps out onto the apron. She mocking blows a kiss to Elon’s three teammates before hitting an Asai Moonsault that knocks him down. The boos continue as she picks up Elon and rolls him back into the ring before rolling herself back in and making the cover.

But Elon reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Lasiewicz returns, she goes for a crossbody. But Elon catches her in mid air.
Kris Cruise: Lasiewicz’s is at his mercy, Stephy!
Stephy Auger: Put her down, Elon! Put her down!
Elon turns and faces the Heroes Never Die corner before hurling Lasiewicz over his head with a fallaway slam! As Lasiewicz gets back to her feet, Elon runs over and connects with a front dropkick, sending Lasiewicz flying into the corner. After she bounces off the turnbuckles and hits the canvas, Elon heads over and tags in Emery.
The crowd cheers when Emery gets in, picks up Lasiewicz and wrenches her arm. But the cheers quickly turn to boos when Lasiewicz reaches over and rakes him across the eyes. After a European Uppercut, she takes Emery and goes for an irish whip. But Emery reverses, sending Lasiewicz into the ropes. When Lasiewicz returns, she slides through Emery’s legs. When Emery turns around, Lasiewicz knocks him off his feet with a leg sweep. As Emery tries to picks himself up off the mat, he’s quickly knocking down after Lasiewicz hits him with a rolling wheel kick. The boos continue as she makes the cover.

Lasiewicz picks up Emery and goes for an irish whip. But Emery reverses, sending her into the corner. Emery runs over to attack, but Lasiewicz knocks him back with a European Uppercut. After switching positions in the corner, Lasiewicz lights up his chest with knife edge chops. She then brings Emery from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Emery reverses, sending Lasiewicz into the ropes. When she returns, Emery goes for a back body drop. But Lasiewicz slips down from behind, spins Emery towards her and catches him with a Kesagiri chop to the side of the neck. She connects with a spinning backfist before dazing him with a pelé kick. While Emery is still groggy, Lasiewicz returns to her feet and runs into the ropes. When The Golden Rose returns, Emery throws her down with an overhead belly to belly suplex! He heads over and makes the cover.

After performing another arm wrench, he takes Lasiewicz and whips her into the far ropes. When Lasiewicz returns, Scott throws out a back elbow to the face. But Lasiewicz ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Scott throws out a clothesline. But again, Lasiewicz ducks and runs into the ropes. But Anders slips down from behind, quickly applies a hammerlock and then spins him towards her to throw out the Black Song (Pepsi Twist). But Scott ducks. But Anders hangs onto the ropes, causing Scott to whiff on the kick and crash back-first onto the canvas. Anders then runs towards the center of the ring, rolls forward, lands next to Scott and rests the side of her head on her arm as she sees Scott writhing in pain. Once Scott begins to stir on the canvas, Anders rolls away from him and slinks over into the corner. She can be seen waving up Scott as he slowly gets back to a vertical base. When Scott turns around, Anders runs over and brings jim down with a jumping leg lariat. After picking Scott back up and moving him into the corner, Lasiewicz gets in and helps her sit Scott up on the top turnbuckle. After placing Scott in a three quarter facelock, Anders takes a few steps away from the corner before she stops to take in the disdain from the crowd. Anders laughs. She then points over towards Scott’s teammates before dropping him with the Mass Spike!

Yun reluctantly lets go before tagging Anders back in. The Mindkiller steps in through the ropes and sends Scott slumping down in the corner with MUDA MUDA MUDA (machinegun punches). While Scott is seated against the ropes, Anders delivers a foot choke of her own as she pulls down on the top rope.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Anders reluctantly breaks the choke.
Kris Cruise: Scott is in big trouble in that corner! He’s got to get out of there and make a tag!
Anders reaches down and smacks Scott upside the head before using the sole of her boot to nudge his head. Anders then reaches down, brings Scott back to his feet, moves him out of the corner and whips him into the far ropes. When he returns, Anders throws out another roundhouse kick to the chest. This time, Scott catches her leg and counters with a dragonscrew leg whip. When Anders rolls over onto her knees, Scott runs her over with a Knee Trembler to the side of the head. He then brings Anders back to her feet and shoots her into the far ropes. When Anders returns, Scott scoops her up across his shoulders for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. But Anders is able to block the move with repeated elbows to the side of the head. After she slips down from behind, she hooks her arm around Scott’s neck and brings him down with Toxic Shock (leaping inverted headlock backbreaker). While Scott lays in the prone position, Anders crawls over and tags Yun back in.
The crowd boos as Yun walks along the apron and begins to wave up Scott. Once Scott gets up near the center of the ring, Yun leaps over for a stiff springboard clothesline. But Scott counters with a Pinpoint Dropkick, knocking her out of the air.
Kris Cruise: What a dropkick from Scott! Did you see the elevation! Perfectly timed!
Stephy Auger: Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever! It was one move, Cruise!
Scott turns over and begins to crawl over towards the corner. Elon, Emery and Noelle can all be seen with their arms held out. But it’s Noelle that’s the closest to him. Scott puts his arm out to make the tag. But he’s still too far away to make the tag. So he crawls a little bit closer. Just as he’s about to make the tag, Yun drags him away from the corner and delivers a stomp to the back of the head. After slowly pulling Scott up off the mat, she slaps him across the face before turning and running into the ropes. When Yun returns, she goes for a Lou Thesz Press. But Scott catches her in mid air. He then hoists her up, catches her across his shoulders and delivers a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. The crowd cheers as Yun bounces off his knee. She holds the back of her neck with both hands as Scott rolls forward, dives over and tags in Noelle.
Kris Cruise: Here comes Noelle!
The crowd explodes with cheers as Noelle runs over and knocks Yun down with a jumping calf kick. Yun gets back to to her feet. But he’s quickly knocked back down by another jumping calf kick. Noelle then takes Yun and whips her into the ropes. But instead of coming back, Yun hangs onto the ropes. So Noelle rushes over to attack, only to get dumped over the top rope. After Noelle lands safely on the apron, Taylor rushes over to knock her off. But Noelle hops down to the floor, grabs Taylor by the ankle and yanks her off the apron. The crowd cheers when Taylor smacks her back on the apron before bouncing to the floor. Anders and Lasiewicz hop off the apron and rush over to attack Noelle, but she rolls back inside. When Noelle rolls back in, she’s met with stomps from Yun. She then picks up Noelle and whips her into the ropes. When Noelle returns, Yun throws out a roundhouse kick. But Noelle ducks and heads into the far ropes, where Lasiewicz nails her with a punch to the back of the head. Noelle doubles over before standing back up and hitting her with a pelé kick, knocking Lasiewicz down. Back inside, Anders and Scott brawl in the center of the ring until Scott again the upperhand. The crowd continues to cheer as each punch knocks Anders closer to the ropes. He then takes Anders and whips her into the far ropes. When Anders returns, Scott runs over and turns her inside out with a Pinpoint Dropkick.
Back on the outside, Elon is seen pulling himself up using the guardrail when he’s met with a clubbing strike from behind from Tully Barnes. When Elon turns around, Bristow and Barnes take off. Elon then quickly takes off after them. Emery sees Elon going after Bristow & Barnes. He turns back to the ring, then turns back to see his brother running off into what very well may be a trap. He sighs before leaping over the guardrail and taking off after Elon.
Stephy Auger: the Elysian Empire just left Scott and Noelle high and dry!
Kris Cruise: No, Emery ran off to go after Elon!
Scott brings Anders back to her feet, lifts her up across his shoulders and delivers a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. He then brings Anders back to her feet, delivers an irish whip, follows her into the corner and connects with a European Uppercut. He grabs Anders, whips her across the ring, follows her into the opposite corner and nearly takes her head off with another running European Uppercut. Scott takes Anders, whips her across the ring, follows her into the previous corner and sends spittle flying out of her mouth when he cracks her across the jaw with a flying corner elbow smash. He then sits Anders up onto the top turnbuckle and sets up for the Mass Spike. But at the last second, Anders unhooks her leg, reverses into a hammerlock from behind and knocks Scott down with the Black Song. The boos continue as she brings Scott towards the center of the ring and sets him up for the DNA Driver. But the boos turn to cheers when Noelle comes from out of nowhere and connects with a springboard flying knee, knocking Anders down. While Scott slowly rolls out of the ring, Noelle picks up Anders, doubles her over with a boot to the midsection and brings her down with Swing, Set, Match (swinging neckbreaker). As soon as Nolle gets back to her feet, Yun hooks her arms from behind before driving her down with the Billionaire Bust (The Stroke). The boos continue as Yun hops through the ropes onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. As Noelle gets up on all fours, Yun leaps off and drives her down with the All-Kill (diving knee drop). She then pushes Noelle over and makes the cover.

The crowd erupts with boos when "FxxK Wit Us" hits the speakers
J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners, HEROE-
Aldridge is cut off when Heroes Never Die swam the center of the ring and stomp the hell out of Noelle.
Kris Cruise: What in the hell is the meaning of this!? They won the damn match! What point are they proving by doing this!?
Stephy Auger: Why are you being such a Debbie Downer, Cruise! Let these four have their fun.
Kris Cruise: Fun? Fun!? There’s nothing fun about this! This is a mauling! A damn mauling!
Heroes Never Die continue to put the boots to Noelle before Scott spins Yun around and knocks her down with a right hand. Lasiewicz then turns into a right hand. Yun gets back up, but she gets sent back down with a hard European Uppercut. Lasiewicz heads back over, until to get a hard European Uppercut for her troubles. Anders then turns and throws out another STOCKTON SLAP! But this time, Scott ducks and unleashes a barrage of elbow smashes to the face. He then takes the champ and goes for an irish whip. But Anders reverses, sending Scott into the ropes. When he returns, he brings Anders down with a Sling Blade. He then picks up Anders and lifts him across his shoulders. The crowd explodes with cheers as they see Anders set up for the Burning Hammer. Anders’ eyes widen with shock as she knows she’s seconds away from getting dropped right on her head. But as soon as Scott turns around, Taylor nails him with a hard kick between the legs, sending Scott crumbling to the mat. The crowd erupts with boos as she begins to stomp away at him. Lasiewicz and Yun rush over and join in with the stomps. A hurt Noelle gets to her feet and pulls Taylor off. But she gets knocked down with the Desert Rose (spinning back fist) for her troubles. Yun then hooks Scott arms from behind before driving him down with the Billionaire Bust.
With their opponents all laid out on the mat, Izzy stands over them and laughs at the destruction she and her cohorts have caused, finding it so amusing that she begins to play eenie-meenie-miney-mo, her finger pointing at each of the fallen opponents until she comes to a halt on Chandler Scott, and once her finger comes to a halt she calls for Yun Goeun and Savannah Taylor to haul him to his feet, holding him in place as Izzy enjoys the moment of power she has over him.
Kris Cruise: It’s enough enough that Scott and Noelle have been attacked 4 on 1. Now she wants to humiliate them!
With the Hall of Famer at her mercy, Izzy prepares to hit the Capetown Sunset - but in that moment Johnny Karma slides into the ring and stands between her and her target, and the second Izzy sees Karma in the line of fire she stops dead in her tracks
Jabbing an accusing finger in Anders’ direction, Karma makes it very clear to Izzy that she shouldn’t dare think about what she’s thinking about doing, which clearly infuriates Anders as once again Karma is standing in the way of letting her get her way, but knowing full well that she’s in a Mexican standoff she tells the rest of Heroes Never Die to leave Chandler and the others alone and get out of the ring
Stephy Auger: What’s Izzy doing?
Kris Cruise: It looks like she wants to do something that she’s never had the courage to do in her life: take on Karma one on one!
Once her team have left the ring, Izzy stands face-to-face with Karma where she challenges Karma to attack her, to get the pent-up frustration out of his system, to prove that he’s just a coward who wants to hide behind a stipulation. As she continues to goad Karma, as he desperately tries to resist the temptation to take Anders up on her offer, she calls for Heather Lasiewicz to slide a chair into the ring, and once the chair is in the ring Izzy picks it up and offers it to Karma, demanding he take it and prove he’s all talk when in reality he’s just as much of a lowlife as those he rails against, yet Karma continues to resist
All of a sudden the chair is out of Izzy’s hands, but Karma wasn’t the one to take it, and as Izzy turns around to work out what the hell is going on...
SMACK...she gets taken out with one hell of a chairshot from Cherry Baum, and she sure as hell meant it judging by the blood trickling down Izzy’s face as she lays glassy-eyed on the canvas, which even has Karma looking on surprised
Stephy Auger: What the hell!?
Kris Cruise: IT’S CHERRY BAUM! CHERRY’S BACK AND SHE JUST SWUNG FOR THE FENCES!
As Cherry stands over the fallen champion and uses the opportunity to give her a foul-mouthed piece of her mind, yet still holding the chair in her hand, Karma snaps out of it and walks over so he can request that maybe Cherry hand over the chair before she does something she probably wouldn’t regret but it’s worth suggesting she’d regret it anyway if it gets her to hand over the chair
Once she’s been calmed down by Karma, Cherry hands over the chair with more than a little reluctance due to the fact that she feels should could hit her
even harder the second time, which allows Karma to quickly toss it aside so it slides along the canvas and out of the ring, and once the chair is out of the way Karma and Cherry head towards the ropes and leave the ring, at which point Savannah, Yun and Heather all rush into the ring to check on the fallen Anders
