MAIN EVENT
TAG TEAM MATCH
Izzy Anders and Yun Goeun vs. Johnny Karma and Noelle Smith
“Lose My Breath” by Destiny's Child starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up.
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my (hah hah)
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my breath (hah hah)J.A. Aldridge: The following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! Introducing team number one! First, from Orlando, Florida… NOOOOELLLLE SMITH!!!
She does an athletic somersault forward to take her half down the ramp and then rushes the ring, using her hands to push her up onto the apron as she slides under the bottom rope and pops up, giggling and blowing kisses to the fans, winking at the referee and waving to the ring announcers cheerily.
Kris Cruise: This has to be pretty weird for Noelle Smith to be standing in the same ring as Yun Goeun and Izzy Anders again. It was nearly two years to the day that Smith lost the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship to Anders in the Triple Threat Match involving the two of them and Yun at All-Star Showdown Four. Of course, that was the start of Anders’ record breaking reign, where she would go on to cement herself as not only the longest reigning champion in Mid-Atlantic Legacy Title history, but as having the most successful defenses out of any title. Of course, things got much, MUCH worse for Smith, as we overheard her recalling to Karma before.
The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Johnny Karma walks out at the top of the ramp, and as he walks out he pauses, his eyes are fixed on the ring, but he doesn't play to the crowd as he usually does
As he begins to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket, still focusing on the ring
Finally reaching ringside, Karma immediately makes his way up the ring steps before he steps through the middle rope into the ring, and once he steps into the ring he unzips his ring jacket and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, but once again he doesn't play to the crowd as he usually does, instead he turns his head to look towards the entrance, knowing full well Izzy Anders is hanging back behind the curtain
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay
Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma drops his ring jacket in the corner and crosses the ring, climbing the opposite turnbuckles, but once more his attention turns towards the entranceway.
J.A. Aldridge: Introducing her partner, from Queens, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds… JOOOOHNNYYYYY KAAAAAARRRRMAAAAA!!!
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home
Oh well, oh well, oh well
Climbing down from the buckles, Karma paces back and forth, keeping his focus on the entranceway as he awaits his Tormentor in Chief to set foot in the arena so he can remind her there's no reason he can't kick her up and down the entrance ramp if he has to
Kris Cruise: Johnny Karma looks like a man that’s willing to end Izzy Anders right here tonight. After the hell that she’s put this man through over the past seven months, I can’t say I blame him.
Stephy Auger: Good! Let his anger take control. That’s exactly what our Undisputed Champion wants. She wants him to expose his true colors and how himself to be the hypocrite that she knows he is.
"They say, I have no answers...
They see me as a problem child.
I'm just young and free. (Ay Ay)
They say, I don't listen.
I should say the same thing.
What chu know 'bout me? (Huh?)
They say that I'm crazy.
Its okay, everybody is crazy.
Why not me? (Ay Ay)
They say, that I'll never make it.
But all I want to be is my self."
J.A. Aldridge: Introducing their opponents! First, from Seoul, South Korea! She is “Seoul City’s Baddest Female”... YUUUUUN GOOOEEEUUUUN!!!
"FxxK Wit Us" by Lee Hi plays over the PA system as Yun Goeun comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. Yun smirks and ignores the boos as she walks down to the ring. Yun continues to make her way to the ring, not once even so much as looking to the fans. As Yun reaches the ring she slides in and quickly walks to her corner and sits down, crossing her legs as she does, leaning back against the lower turnbuckle.
Kris Cruise: Yun made her shocking return nearly a month ago at All-Star Showdown Six, helping Anders retain over Karma. We never really got a definitive answer as to why she did what she did until moments ago. I don’t know about you, Stephy. But I’m just as confused as Spencer Burke was. I now have even more questions than answers.
Stephy Auger: Did you not hear what she said? Yun told Burke that she’s given up on personal aspirations for the time being. Her sole mission is to make sure that Anders remains Undisputed Champion. Do you know how powerful it is to have an ally that dedicated to you on your side?
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
Drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
Drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
A final drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
The intro of Jadakiss's "The Champ is Here" plays as a precursor to Izzy Anders' arrival. The crowd already starts their intense jeers before the arena falls into darkness. Yellow and red colors fill the arena as the sky rains down small bits of gold. The camera shows many fans displaying their hatred with middle fingers and glares. "Kerosine Dreams" by DriveByWire plays out as Izzy Anders starts to make her way out.
"Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh!
Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh!
So sick of sitting around, there's so much to do
So jump abroad and let's look at you."
Showing the back of her coat and then swinging around to the championship glistening on her waist. It matches the stream of golden sparkles that accent her presence. When the camera pans upward, the arrogant gaze of Izzy Anders and all of her features are shown in full. She strokes her chin, grinning vehemently as she does. The champion enjoys the hatred she is facing. Unhooking the championship around her waist, Izzy proudly represents her status as both champion and antagonist by raising the championship and her middle finger. She begins to walk down the ramp, lowering her head to purposely block her gaze from the very fans she believes turned on her.
J.A. Aldridge: Introducing her partner, fighting out of Holland, Michigan by way of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada! She is the reigning FGA Undisputed Champion! She is “The Mindkiller” IZZYYYYYYY AAAAAANNNNDERRRRRSSSS!!!
Once the call came out, Izzy stops on the end of the ramp, lowering her finger and her championship. She dips downward and hurls the championship high up into the air into the ring. While it flies sky high, Izzy runs and slides under the bottom rope. She heads over to the nearest turnbuckle, taking her sweet time to remove her infamous eyepatch. The championship clatters against the mat, landing roughly. Izzy steps off the ropes and heads for the center of the ring. She takes off her coat and flings it off with her usual elegance brandish. Once it's out of the way, Izzy takes a seat in her usual off-center spot. She drags her championship close to her, draping across her lap. The Mindkiller narrows her belligerent focus onto the upcoming battle.
Kris Cruise: Izzy Anders got control of the FGA Undisputed Championship belt back at the start of tonight’s program. The war or words, as well as the mind games, continue to escalate between champion and challenger. But it all comes to a head at Trouble in Paradise, when Anders and Karma will be locked inside a fifteen foot high Steel Cage. If anyone interferes on Anders’ behalf, she automatically becomes an ex-champion! So much for all those allies, Stephy.
Stephy Auger: Do you honestly think she can’t beat Karma on her own? This is a woman that has played mind games with the best of them. She has broken opponents physically, mentally and emotionally… WITHOUT anyone’s help. Karma thinks he’s going to have Anders trapped once that cage door slams shut and that padlock is put around it. But he has no idea what’s in store for him. The name of the pay per view will be an understatement as to what’s coming his way!
"Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh!
Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh!
So sick of sitting around, there's so much to do
So jump abroad and let's look at you."
Drive By Me's "Kerosine Dreams" starts up as Izzy Anders stroll onto the stage. She stares around the arena, taking a brief bow to mock the crowd's disdain for the Dreamkiller. Once she is done there, she readjusts and brings up her middle fingers to the people that share the same hatred she has for them. She lowers them down and starts on her way down the ramp. The yellow and red lights cross her face, which give Izzy a sparkle with the many metals upon her gear.
(Announcer)
Izzy ascends the turnbuckle, her eyepatch clear as day. She grabs onto it, ripping it off with a dramatic elegance. The eye under it burns brightly with a shade of red, thanks the lighting fixture. She looks up to the cascading lights with her eyes closed. She draws in the atmosphere before leaping off the turnbuckle into the ring. She takes off her coat and flings it towards the stagehands with an elegant flair. She then stands in the center of the ring with her arms out; she cries out to the audience, insulting them all the while. The Mindkiller then takes a seat a little off center of the ring, at the very tip of her corner. She sits there with her legs crossed, glaring at the entire arena. She awaits the match to start with her belligerence and intensity brimming.
"FxxK Wit Us" by Lee Hi plays over the PA system as Yun Goeun comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. Yun smirks and ignores the boos as she walks down to the ring. As she hits the ramp, her new bodyguard Yoshihiro Gotoh steps out from the back and just stands there, keeping his eyes on the fans around her as Yun continues to make her way to the ring, not once even so much as looking to the fans. As Yun reaches the ring she slides in and quickly walks to her corner and sits down, crossing her legs as she does, leaning back against the lower turnbuckle. With Yun now in the ring, her bodyguard walks down to the ring and takes his position in her corner.
The bell sounds as Anders and Smith start things off for their respective teams. The two former rivals in the Mid-Atlantic Legacy division circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Smith gains the vantage by sending Anders to the mat with an arm drag. Anders gets up on her knee, looks at Smith and gives her a mocking golf clap before returning to her feet. The Mindkiller circles the ring before inching back over towards Smith and locking up. After jockeying for position, Anders ducks under, goes behind Smith and slips on a waist lock. Smith then reaches down, slowly pries Anders’ arms from around her and reverses into an arm wrench. Anders then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of her own. Smith then rolls forward, turns over onto her knees, flips over with a headstand, cartwheels over and reverses back into an arm wrench of her own. The ref asks Anders if she wants to give up. When she doesn’t, Smith performs another arm wrench. Anders then reaches over with her free arm, grabs Smith by the back of the hair and moves her back into the opes. The ref then gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
After both grapplers let go, Anders throws out a Stockton Slap. But Smith ducks and moves out of the way. When Anders turns around, the crowd cheers as Smith lights up her chest with knife edge chops. She then takes Anders and whips her into the far ropes. When Anders returns, Smith knocks her down with a jumping calf kick. Anders returns to her feet, only to get returned to the mat with a dropkick. Smith makes the cover.

Anders kicks out.
Kris Cruise: Smith got the better of the Undisputed Champion with that exchange.
Stephy Auger: Don’t get too excited, Cruise. This match is far from over. Anders has plenty of time to get back on offense.
Smith picks up Anders and goes for an irish whip. But Anders reverses, sending Smith into the ropes. When Smith returns, Anders goes for a running clothesline. But Smith ducks and stops as Anders is sent into the ropes. Smith then turns around and throws out a front dropkick. But she throws it out too early, allowing Anders to get a read on the attack and avoid it by hanging onto the ropes. After Smith crashes onto the mat and sits up, Anders points to a random fan in the crowd before running over and nearly kicking Smith’s head off with a Penalty Kick. The boos continue as she drops down and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Anders with that hard penalty kick right to the face.
Stephy Auger: See, what did I tell you?
Anders picks up Smith, moves her into the corner and unleashes a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. Anders follows up with a hard slap upside the head. She then takes Smith and whips her into the opposite corner. Anders charges across the ring and into the corner, but Noelle knocks her back with a boot to the face. After shaking off the blow, Anders runs back into the corner. This time, Smith dazes her with a back elbow to the face. As soon as Smith hoists herself up onto the middle ropes for her next attack, Anders quickly grabs her by the leg and yanks her off the ropes, sending Smith flying out of the corner and crashing on her part. When Smith begins to sit up off the mat, Anders goes over and tags in Yun Goeun.
Kris Cruise: Here comes Yun Goeun, who is immediately met with a chorus of boos from this capacity crowd!
Stephy Auger: Meh, what do they know?
The crowd boos as Yun hops into the ring through the ropes, runs over and knocks Smith down with a running stomp to the face. She continues to put the boots to Smith before picking her up and whipping her back into the corner. Yun then rushes across the ring before nailing Smith with running knees in the corner. She then brings Smith from out of the corner, throws her down with a fireman’s carry and follows up with a standing moonsault. She hooks the leg.

When Yun turns around, Smith quickly gets back to her feet and throws out a leg-feed enzuigiri. But Yun ducks the ducks. She then reaches down, pulls Smith back up to her feet from behind and lifts her up for a Tiger Suplex. But Smith is able to reverse into a wheelbarrow victory roll.

Yun kicks out.
After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, Smith throws out a roundhouse kick. But Yun ducks. She then quickly throws out a legsweep. But Smith hops over it. When Yun stands back up, she gets caught with an elbow smash to the face. Smith then connects with another elbow smash. After standing on her tippy toes, Smith connects with a third elbow smash, sending Yun stumbling back into the ropes.
Kris Cruise: Yun might be exhibiting a bit of ring rust after losing that exchange to Smith!
Smith turns and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, Yun ducks and dumps Smith over the top rope. But instead of crashing on the floor, Smith is able to land safely on the apron. Anders then heads over to attack. But Smith knocks her back with a back elbow to the face. But the cheers turn to boos when Yun catches Smith off guard with a punch to the face. She then grabs a hold of the top rope, pulls it towards her and then shoves forward, sending Smith flying off the apron crashing into the guardrail. The crowd gasps while Smith writhes in pain on the outside.
Kris Cruise: Did you see Smith fly off the aporn and crash right into that guardrail?
Stephy Auger: Yeah! It was great!
Kris Cruise: It was WHAT!?
As Smith tries to pick herself up on the outside, Yun turns and runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she goes for a baseball slide. But Smith quickly side steps and rolls back inside. As Yun hops up onto the apron, Smith runs back over and connects with a dropkick, knocking her to the floor. Smith then returns to her feet before running into the far ropes. When she comes back, the crowd boos when Anders cuts her off with a jumping leg lariat. She then picks up Smith, runs and throws her down against the canvas. Smith then slides underneath the bottom rope before falling to the floor.
While Smith slowly picks herself up off the floor, Anders runs into the ropes. She then comes back and runs into the far sets of ropes. The Mindkiller runs back across the ring. But instead of leaping to the outside, she performs a forward roll before laying across the mat with her head resting on her hand. She then uses her free arm to make a “come hither” gesture towards Smith. But it’s Johnny Karma that comes to her instead. The crowd explodes with cheers when The Karmic Lion rushes into the ring from behind, yanks Anders up off the mat, runs and chucks her over the top rope and to the floor.
Stephy Auger: What the heck does he think he’s doing!? That’s the Undisputed Champion!
Karma runs into the far ropes while Anders pulls herself up using the edge of the apron. When Karma returns, he knocks Anders down with This Is For The Front Row (baseball slide clothesline). He then picks up Anders, delivers an irish whip, follows her down ringside and connects with an NYC Uppercut (running European Uppercut), sending Anders flipping over the guardrail and into the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Johnny Karma is a man possessed here tonight!
Stephy Auger: Yeah, he should be locked up!
Karma climbs over the guardrail and begins hammering down with right hands on Anders. After turning around and motioning for members of the front row to get out of the way, Karma picks up Anders before delivering a vertical suplex across four chairs. The Mindkiller rolls off the chairs before holding her back in pain.
Back inside the ring, Yun slides back in and makes the cover.

Yun picks up Smith and sets her up for a Shiranui. But Smith is able to shove Yun off of her and into the ropes. When Yun returns, Smith sets up for a back body drop. So Yun counters with a single knee facebuster. While Smith is sprawled out on the mat, Yun steps through the ropes, scales to the top turnbuckle and goes for a flying elbow drop. But Smith is able to roll out of the way!
Kris Cruise: Nobody was home!
Stephy Auger: Gah!
While Yun clutches her elbow, Smith makes her way over towards the corner and tags in Karma.
Kris Cruise: Here comes Karma!
The crowd explodes with cheers when Karma rushes over and knocks Yun down with an NYC Uppercut. After knocking her back down with another NYC Uppercut, Karma takes Yun and shoots her into the ropes. When Yun returns, Karma scoops her up from the side and delivers a backbreaker. But instead of letting Yun falls to the mat, he keeps her held across his knee. Karma then lifts Yun up off his knee, heads over to the side of the ring and tosses her through the ropes.
Kris Cruise: He just told Yun to get out of his ring!
As Yun gets up on the outside, Karma runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, Anders slides back in and throws out a lariat. But Karma swats the arm out of the way and continue to run into the ropes. When he comes back, he tackles Anders down with a Lou Thesz Press. The crowd cheers as the 2017 Gold Rush Rumble winner hammers away with right hands to the face of the Undisputed Champion. But the cheers turn to boos when Yun delivers a double axe handle across the back of the neck.
Kris Cruise: Would you look at that!? Yun comes to the aid of Anders yet again!
Stephy Auger: Well what would you like her to do? Just stay there and let Karma go to town on her partner? Don’t be an idiot, Cruise!
Yun picks up Karma and whips him into the corner before charging across the ring and delivering running knee. She then moves out of the way as Anders rushes into the corner and connects with an NYC Uppercut of her own. She then shoves Karma out of the corner over towards Yun, who doubles him over with a kick to the midsection before planting him with a Spike DDT. Instead of making the cover, she heads over to the corner and tags Anders back in. The crowd boos as Anders scales to the top turnbuckle.
Kris Cruise: The Mindkiller could be looking to leap onto Karma with those flying double knees off the top! We’ve seen how much damage she’s caused with that move in the past!
Once Anders had ascended to the top turnbuckle, she mocks Karma by pointing up to the sky, resulting in an eruption of boos from the crowd. Anders then leaps off and goes for From The Stars Above (flying elbow drop). But Karma rolls out of the way.
Kris Cruise: Another flying elbow missed!
Stephy Auger: Dammit!
After Anders gets to her feet and turns around, Karma delivers a snapping left jab, followed by an immediate right hook that knocks her down.
Kris Cruise: SUGAR RAY KARMA!
Anders gets back to her feet. But Karma is right there to knock her back down with another right hook. As Anders gets back to her feet, Karma throws her down with a hammerlock scoop slam. He reaches down, brings Anders back to her feet and doubles her over with a knee to the midsection before throwing her down with Dynamite Karma (hammerlock suplex). While Anders is down on the mat, Karma circles her as he delivers a stomp to the left arm, then left knee. He then turns and delivers a stomp to the right ankle, right thigh and then the midsection before delivering repeated stomps to the right elbow. The crowd cheers as Karma stomps the hell out of the elbow. Karma reaches down, pulls up Anders, marches into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle before sitting her up across the top turnbuckle. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, Karma grabs Anders from behind…
Stephy Auger: NOOOO!
...and delivers a hammerlock belly to back suplex.
Kris Cruise: Big suplex off the top from Karma!
As Anders slowly gets back to her feet, Karma latches onto her from behind and locks on a crossface chickenwing.
Kris Cruise: Deep Karma! Karma’s got the submission clocked in!
Stephy Auger: Quick, Izzy, escape!
The crowd cheers as Karma cinches in then hold. Anders can be seen flailing her free arm around.
Kris Cruise: She’s got nowhere to go! She’s trapped in the center of the ring!
The ref goes over and asks Anders if she wants to give up. But she refuses. She then quickly grabs the ref with her free arm and pulls him over towards her.
Kris Cruise: What the heck is she doing!?
While the ref tries to separate himself from Anders, Anders delivers a mule kick, low blowing Karma to an eruption of boos from the crowd. Anders then turns around and unleashes Dirty Dancin (kick flurry), kicking the hell out of Karma with rapid fire rights and lefts kicks. Once the flurry has been completed, Anders rears back and smacks the hell out of Karma with a STOCKTON SLAP! Anders slaps Karma so hard that his whole body turns away from her. She then quickly latches onto him from behind before spinning him around and knocking him down with the Black Song (Pepsi Twist). Unfortunately for Anders, she used her right arm. While Karma is down, Anders quickly clutches her arm as she staggers over and tags Yun back in. Yun immediately scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and goes for the All-Kill (top rope single knee drop). But Karma just barely moves out of the way.
Kris Cruise: Yun missed again!
Stephy Auger: No no NO!
While Yun clutches her knee, Karma rolls over on all fours, crawls over towards the corner and tags Smith back in. As Yun gets back up, Smith leaps across the ring and sends her crumbling to the mat with a springboard flying knee. She makes the cover.

She then takes Yun and whips her into the corner before following her across the ring and connecting with a step-up enzuigiri. While Yun is dazed, Smith moves her out of the way, hoists herself up onto the middle ropes, grabs Yun from behind and brings her down with the Beauty Mark (diving somersault inverted facelock jawbreaker). The crowd erupts with boos when Anders drags Yun out from under Smith and to the outside. Anders swipes her arm through the air as if to say “forget this”, snatches up her Undisputed Championship and climbs over the guardrail.
Kris Cruise: What the hell is this!?
Stephy Auger: She’s living to fight another day, Cruise. There’s no titles on the line!
Kris Cruise: I can’t believe this!
Anders and Yun take a few steps back through the crowd while they watch the ref count them out. The crowd boos as the referee calls for the bell.
J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners as the result of a countout, NOELLE SMITH and JOHNNY KARMA!
Smith gets her arm raised in victory. But she’s clearly not satisfied with the win. Karma heads over into the corner, climbs up onto the middle ropes and calls for Anders to get back into the ring. Anders narrows her eyes at Karma while slowly lifting her Undisputed Championship in the air.
Kris Cruise: Anders can run out of this arena here tonight. But at Trouble in Paradise, there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. For Stephy Auger, this is Kris Cruise signing off. We’ll see you back here in two weeks on Vertigo! But don’t forget to tune in this Saturday to see two Dynamic Duos Quaterfinals Matches on Flashpoint! Goodnight, everyone...
