8-Man Tag Team Match
The New Murder
vs.
Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad, Pedro Gonzales, Maritza Diaz
“BUENO CLUB! POR-R-R-R-R-R-R VIDA!”“El Jefe” by Mexican Institute of Sound plays, acting every bit like some hyped up James Bond theme, as multicolored lights are everywhere in the arena. A spotlight hits on a lone figure with a red hooded cape who shuffles his feet atop the ramp. He keeps his head down before unveiling himself as Pedro Gonzales by taking off the cape with a flourish.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing team number one! First, from Mexico City, Mexico! Weighing in at 115 pounds! He is “Mexico City’s Favorite Son” PEDRRRRRROOOOO GOOOOOONZAAAALESSSSSS!!!
Pedro spreads his arms out as he strolls leisurely past, slapping as many fans hands as possible all the while looking at the ring. Upon approaching the apron, he takes the 3GW Tag Team championship of his waist and kisses it before handing it and the cape to an attendant. Pedro then slides into the ring and stands on the top turnbuckle, raising a fist to a decent amount of approval from the fans before putting his feet back on that wonderful canvas where he’s sure to do pretty awesome stuff.
“Fireball” by Willow ft Nicki Minaj fills the arena as Maritza Diaz slowly walks out to the stage in a long black and red silk robe, and a traditional Mongkon head piece. For a moment she simply smiles and looks out at the fans before uniting the belt on her robe and removing it completely. She does a double bicep pose before heading down to the ring.
J.A. Aldridge: And his partner, from Miami, Florida! She is “The Power Princess” MARRRRRITZZZZAAAAA DIIIIIIAAAAAZZZZ!!!
As she walks she high fives fans as she passes before running and sliding under the bottom rope. Once in the ring she stands in the center rattling off a series of punches, elbow strikes, knees, and kicks in rapid succession before bowing and removing her Mongkon and Pra Jiad arm bands.
...Spoken...
"May I remind you again, this is a dream, and in dreams, you can do anything you darn please!"
When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain with his girlfriend Peaches hanging onto his arm. They give head nods to the fans before they begin heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on them
J.A. Aldridge: And their partners, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 332 pounds! They are the reigning… defending… FGA World Tag Team Champions… the POLYCHROMATIC LION ATTACK SQUAAAAAD!!!
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
As Dan and Peaches make their way to the ring Dan slaps hands with the fans on one side of the entrance-way while Peaches walks down the other side slapping hands with the fans there. At the bottom of the entrance way, Peaches leans in and gives Dan a peck on the cheek as the pair climb into the ring.
Kris Cruise: At Patriot Games, the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad will be defending their World Tag Team Titles against their partners here tonight, Pedro Gonzales and Maritza Diaz. You have to wonder how these two teams will coexist given what’s at stake in a few weeks?
Stephy Auger: They better get on the same page because if they don’t, this won’t be a long match at all.
I THINK YOU’VE GOT A LOW SELF OPINION MAN
I SEE YOU STANDING ALL BY YOURSELF
The opening chords of “Low Self Opinion” begin to play throughout the arena as the some of crowd begin to boo heavily. After ten seconds or so, Jaelynn Ramsey, Mercy Williams, and Molly Reid all step out from behind the curtain first. The trio are wearing the bandanas they were seen sporting earlier in the night as the smoke machines seem to be working overtime tonight, filling the area around the floor as they form an arrow shape.
J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents, the team of JAELYNN RAMSEY, MERCY WILLIAMS, MOLLY REID and DOM HARTER ... THE NEW MURDER!
Dom Harter steps out from behind the curtain and throws his arms out to either side, the ever familiar crooked grin plastered on his face as he's surrounded by his fellow crows. The New Murder begin to stride down the aisle in single file with Harter bringing up the rear, their faces all covered by the bandanas as they all climb up the ring steps. Dom sits on the middle rope, lowering it enough for the others to enter the ring before him; each of Jaelynn, Molly, and Mercy strike a pose on the turnbuckles as Dom remains standing in the center of the ring. He removes his leather jacket and bandana, before the others follow suit. The music begins to die down and the lights return to normal as The New Murder prepare for action.
Stephy Auger: Look! The gang’s all here!
Kris Cruise: Yeah, they’re all here, alright! This is the same group of thugs that left Jimmy Page a mangled mess at the end of All-Star Showdown!
Stephy Auger: Oh don’t tell me that you’re having sympathy for Jimmy Page!
Kris Cruise: Jimmy Page is far from an angel! He’s done his own fair share of heinous attacks! But what happened at All-Star Showdown was uncalled for!
The bell sounds as Peaches and Mercy Williams look to start things off for their respective squads. That is, until Jaelynn Ramsey gets Williams’ attention and calls for the tag.
Kris Cruise: What is this?
When Williams points over to her, Ramsey nods her head. So The Emerald Jewel makes her way into the New Murder corner and tags Ramsey in. The crowd boos as Ramsey gets in the ring before pointing over at Peaches.
Kris Cruise: These two are no strangers to each other.
Stephy Auger: Oh yeah! There’s definitely no love lost here.
Ramsey and Peaches continue to jawjack while circling the ring. They then stop, march towards the center of the ring and lock up. After jockeying for position, Ramsey moves Peaches across the ring and towards the New Murder corner. The crowd gasps as they see Peaches about to be trapped in the corner. But at the last second, Peaches switches positions with Ramsey and shoves her into the corner. Peaches wisely heads back towards the center of the ring. Ramsey can be seen looking at Peaches with a smirk on her face.
Kris Cruise: Good call there by Peaches to get the heck out of dodge. There’s no telling what those other three vultures on the apron would have done to her.
Stephy Auger: They’re not vultures, they’re crows.
Ramsey makes her way out of the corner and begins circling the ring. The two rivals slowly make their way towards each other and lock up. After jockeying for position, Peaches places Ramsey in a side headlock. Ramsey groans in discomfort as Peaches really wrenches on the hold. The ref asks if she wants to give up. But Ramsey reverses before shoving Peaches off into the ropes. When Peaches returns, the crowd cheers when she runs Ramsey over with a running shoulder block. She then runs into another set of ropes as Ramsey gets back to her feet. When Peaches returns, she knocks Ramsey down with another running shoulder block. Peaches turns and runs into another set of ropes as Ramsey gets back up. When Peaches comes back, Ramsey leapfrogs over her. As soon as Ramsey lands on her feet and turns around, the crowd cheers as she gets caught with a dropkick. Ramsey gets back to her feet, only to get knocked back down by a second dropkick. Peaches goes for a third dropkick. But Ramsey slips out of the way as Peaches whiffs on the kick.
Stephy Auger: She went to the well one too many times there. Though I’m not surprised. Peaches isn’t exactly known for her intelligence.
As Peaches gets back to her feet, she gets caught with a boot to the midsection. After several clubbing strikes across the back, Ramsey takes Peaches, runs and tosses her through the ropes and onto the apron. From there, Williams heads over and stomps away on Peaches to boos from the crowd. After being scolded by the referee, Williams puts her arms up and steps away from one half of the Tag Champs. Ramsey can be seen making her way over to the ropes before pulling Peaches back up. After grabbing a hold of her rival, Ramsey goes for a vertical suplex back into the ring. But Peaches is able to slip down from behind before following up with an O’Connor Roll.
Kris Cruise: Peaches slips down! She’s got Ramsey rolled up!

Ramsey picks up Peaches and places her against the ropes. After hooking Peaches arms around the top rope, Ramsey nails her with three throat throats before choking her with both hands. The ref then gives Ramsey until a count of five to release the choke.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Ramsey reluctantly lets go. She then turns Peaches around, places her in a headlock and rakes her face along the top rope. After Peaches stumbling into an unoccupied corner, Ramsey nails her with a kidney punch before turning Peaches around. After a hard slap across the face, she takes Peaches and whips her into the opposite corner. Ramsey then runs into the corner to attack, but Peaches knocks her back with a back elbow to the face. The crowd cheers as The Bossman steps through the ropes. But before he can get his hands on Ramsey, she yanks herself away from Peaches and staggers across the ring. After she regains her footing, she heads into the corner and tags in Molly Reid.
Kris Cruise: Ramsey didn’t want any parts of Reid, Stephy!
Stephy Auger: But she wasn’t scared. If Peaches was going to tag out, then it was wise of her to tag out to one of her fresher partners as well.
Kris Cruise: If that’s what you want to believe… Anyways, here comes Molly Reid. Hey, have you heard that she defeated Heather Lasiewicz at All-Star Showdown? Hey Stephy, have you heard that she defeated Heather at the Pay Per View? I think Molly Reid really, really, really wants people to know that she defeated Mrs. Lasiewicz nearly four weeks ago.
Stephy Auger: As she should! Everyone else is drooling over Chandler Scott and Felicity Banks! What about her!? What about Molly!?
Kris Cruise: What about her? She sold her soul to join Dom Harter and the rest of his flunkies.
Stephy Auger: Yeah, sure, whatever you say, Cruise. You’re just as clueless as everyone else is. You guys have no idea why she did what she did.
Kris Cruise: It’s been four weeks. Does she need another four weeks to get her story straight?
Stephy Auger: Ooooo, I can’t wait to tell her all the trash you’re talking!
The two circle the ring before locking up. Reid quickly gains the advantage with a side headlock. But Herrera is quick to shove Reid off of him and into the ropes. When Reid returns, she slides through Herrera’s legs. When Herrera turns around, Reid unleashes a flurry of punches, kicks, knees and elbows.
Stephy Auger: Molly Reid’s proving that she’s way too fast for Old Man Herrera!
After the flurry of strikes, Reid takes Herrera and whips him into the corner. She then charges over to attack. But Herrera ducks and dumps her over the top rope. After Reid lands safely on the apron, she doubles him over with a shoulder thrust as soon as he turns around. As Herrera stumbles back, Reid knocks him down with a springboard front dropkick. Kris Cruise: Here comes Maritza Diaz!
Stephy Auger: Well, well, if it isn’t Chiquita Banana!
Kris Cruise: Stop it!
Diaz gets in, grabs her fellow LDFC/3GW alum and delivers a series of knees to the midsection from the clinch. After a hard European Uppercut that rocks The Emerald Jewel, Diaz brings Williams from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Williams reverses, sending Diaz into the ropes, where she gets knees in the back by Harter. The crowd boos the blatant cheating by The Tenacious Little Bastard. After feeling the pain from the blow, Diaz turns back around and goes after Harter. But Harter hops down off the apron. A decent amount of the crowd thinks that they know what is going on, and cheer louder than the rest. The lights bump in time with the beat, bathing the crowd in alternating pale purple and gold lights.
Why came disaster, I see your face
Under the laughter you store away
Come down, come down, come out and play
Biting the nails of catastrophe
When didn't your sails come and dance with me
Come down, come down, we're lost at sea...The music continues, and a single pale light focuses on a hooded figure making their way through the crowd.
Kris Cruise: We saw this last week Stephy, but what exactly is going on?
Stephy Auger: Maybe it’s Nero! Maybe he’s back to save us!
The hooded figure hops the guardrail, and jumps onto the apron. Quickly, It leaps onto the top rope, and jumps towards Molly Reid…
Stephy Auger: Molly’s under attack!
Molly ducks out of the ring, but the figure flips forward and lands in the center of the ring in a crouched pose, not landing anywhere close to where Molly was seconds before. Molly turns to face the ring, just as the figure slowly rises to their feet. The figure reaches up and unzip the hoodie slowly. The anticipation builds, and as the disguise comes off; The crowd becomes unglued, realizing who the person standing in the ring is.
Stephy Auger: It’s...oh no…
Kris Cruise: It’s
Fujiko! Fujiko Mine is here!
True to his words, The hoodie is discarded and all the spotlights are focused on Fujiko, who grins widely as she stares at Molly Reid. Molly appears shocked as Fujiko poses in the middle of the ring.
“FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO!
FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO!”
Kris Cruise: Listen to this crowd! This is absolutely insane!
“FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO!
FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO!”
Her music continues to play as she soaks in the adoration. Outside, the New Murder groups around Molly Reid, who hasn’t taken her eyes off the former Pride champion.
“FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO!
FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO! FU-JI-KO!”
Kris Cruise: This place is electric!!
Stephy Auger: Yeah, but for all the wrong reasons. I can’t believe she’s back!
Kris Cruise: I think this crowd vehemently disagrees, Stephy...but we’re out of time, we’ll see you next week for Flashpoint!
Vertigo ends with Fujiko Mine playing to the crowd, who continue to cheer and chant her name.
