Dom Harter vs. The Crimson Baroness

The opening chords of 'The Devil's Bleeding Crown' by Volbeat begins to play throughout the arena as The Crimson Baroness steps out from behind the curtain; her top hat is tipped forward, covering her eyes slightly as she poses, resting both hands on the head of her cane. The crowd immediately begin booing and jeering, letting The Baroness know exactly what they think of her.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 124 pounds ... THE CRIMSON BARONESS!

She begins her slow walk to the ring, shrugging off the hatred with a sense of non-chalance. She climbs up the ring steps, urging the referee to hold the ropes open for her before she steps in under the middle ropes; The Crimson Baroness removes her hat and places it delicately in the corner next to her cane before she waits for the match to begin.

Stephy Auger: The Crimson Baroness set to make her FGA in ring debut tonight after a long wait. We’ve seen her helping Annie Zellor over the last few months, first to become the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion–

Kris Cruise: And then to help attack Dom Harter like they did earlier tonight. Or a few weeks ago after his match against Molly Reid. But tonight she’ll be on her own out there, and it’s time to see what she’s made of.

The opening chords of “Low Self Opinion” begin to play throughout the arena as the some of crowd begin to boo, while others cheer. After ten seconds or so, Dom Harter steps out from behind the curtain. He throws his arms out to either side, the ever familiar crooked grin plastered on his face as he begins to stride down the aisle, soaking in the reaction that are coming from the fans here in Everett.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 227lbs … He is ‘The Tenacious Little Bastard’ DOM HARTER!

Harter climbs up the ring steps and climbs in through the middle rope; once inside the squared circle, Harter climbs up to the middle rope, posing for the fans as he waits for the match to start.

Kris Cruise: Mentor, ex-boyfriend, and now opponent. These two have a storeyed history together but I believe this will be the first time they face one another, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: And you have to wonder if Dom’s recovered from what happened earlier tonight, or will he just be angry that he got shown up by the Small Boob Wrecking Crew?

The crowd here in Everett are cheering for Harter as both competitors step towards the center of the ring; Dom towers over his opponent by a good six inches, but The Crimson Baroness isn’t showing any signs of backing down as they begin to trash talk one another, culminating in Dom jabbing his finger towards TCB’s face during a moment of animation…

Stephy Auger: He deserved that!

The slap echoes throughout the Xfinity Arena as Harter reels back, tending to his cheek. Before he returns with a hard right hand! The crowd pop as The Baroness hits the mat, but she quickly gets back up. So Harter knocks her down with another hard right! This time TCB staggers backwards against the ropes as gets up, so Dom grabs her by the wrist for an Irish whip, catching her with a back elbow upon her return.

The Crimson Baroness gets dragged back to her feet this time, and Dom promptly throws her down with a body slam – with authority! She arches her back as she hits the mat, but TCB is dragged back up again as Harter slams her once more. And this time TCB rolls out under the bottom rope to try and gather her bearings.

Kris Cruise: Dom Harter starting this match off as the aggressor, and I don’t think The Crimson Baroness was quite ready for that.

Stephy Auger: She’s just luring him into a trap, Cruise.

Not one that Dom fall for, however, as he catches TCB with a baseball slide! She gets thrown back against the guard rail as Harter poses on the ring apron, drawing another cheer from the crowd. He steps gingerly down to the floor outside, lifting up TCB before dropping her chest first down across the guard rail. Dom grabs his opponent by the hair and drags her off the railing, towards the ring steps as he goes to throw her face first into the steel – NO! TCB gets a boot up to block before catching Dom with a back elbow to the face, and finally she slams him face first down across the steel steps!

Stephy Auger: And just like that, The Baroness has the advantage.

Harter stumbles away, clutching at his face as he walks halfway around the ring. When he finally removes his hand he reveals the cut above his left eye. But The Baroness shows no sympathy as she clubs Dom from behind and rolls him back into the ring. She covers with a lateral press.

Dom kicks out at one, but TCB doesn’t let him back up. She grabs the left arm, which is the surgically repaired arm, and drops a knee down across the shoulder. Harter squirms in pain before he gets rolled onto his front, and TCB applies an arm bar. Harter manages to get to all fours and roll forward to break the hold, before he reverses it into a standing wrist lock of his own. TCB quickly reverses that though, and follows up with a hook kick that sends Dom staggering backwards. She runs against the ropes for momentum, but Dom recovers in time to nail his opponent with a thunderous lariat!

The Baroness spins through the air and hits the mat hard, but Dom picks her right back up, firing off forearm shots as he backs her into the corner. There he drops the shoulder and thrusts it repeatedly into the midsection until the referee calls for a break. So Dom switches to some chops to the chest; the crowd here in Everett “whoo” along with each one, until Dom brings TCB out of the corner with a snapmare, followed by a soccer kick to the spine. He throws her down and covers.

Kris Cruise: I think we’ve answered your question about whether or not Dom would be angry about what happened earlier.

Stephy Auger: He’s lashing out like a petulant child, Cruise. But The Crimson Baroness can take hard hits, that’s why she’s a multi time champion over in HKW.

Harter drags his opponent up by the hair and delivers a short arm clothesline that once again sends his opponent ass over tea kettle. Before he can follow up, however, Dom has to wipe some blood from out of his eye. But Dom lifts her right back up, before TCB jams a thumb in the eye! The crowd boo her as The Baroness stands up, following up with an arm wringer before she drops an elbow down across the left shoulder. Harter winces in pain as TCB delivers a single arm DDT, which she transitions into another arm bar.

The strains of this match are evident on her face as TCB takes a moment to catch her breath before Dom is able to reach the ropes with his foot to force a break. TCB releases on the count of four, but she doesn’t let Dom get back to his feet. Instead she stomps at that arm and shoulder to try and keep him down. That doesn’t work, though, and Dom is able to get back to his feet, where TCB catches him with a knee to the midsection. A snapmare follows, and this time it’s TCB who hits the soccer kick to the spine. Harter arches his back in pain as his opponent runs against the ropes, coming back with a penalty kick to the face! And the cover.

Harter kicks out at two, and TCB brings him back to a vertical base. She moves her opponent towards the corner and sends The Tenacious Little Bastard face first into the turnbuckle. Harter holds that left eye as he falls back into the corner, allowing TCB to climb to the middle rope and start a ten punch combo – each right hand worsening that cut above her opponent’s eye.

Stephy Auger: She knows how to exploit a weakness, Cruise. The Baroness knows all about the surgically repaired shoulder, and she’s been targeting that. But now Harter has that gash above his eye as well.

Kris Cruise: If it gets any worse it might limit his sight out of that eye, that’s for sure.

The Baroness steps down from the ropes after the tenth punch, and sets her opponent up for an Irish whip. Harter gets sent from pillar to post, and TCB follows him in with a diving splash! That’s followed by a succession of shoot kicks to the chest, until finally Dom is forced down into a seated position in the corner. She moves back to the other side of the ring before charging in with a hesitation dropkick. Harter slumps down to the mat as The Baroness takes a moment to play to the crowd, taunting them about their support of her opponent. As expected, they boo her, but she carries on regardless. Harter is just pulling himself back to his feet in the corner as TCB grabs his arm; she proceeds to perform an arm twist rope walk, before she covers.

Harter gets the shoulder up in time as The Baroness sits there shaking her head. She stands up and stomps at the arm again, trying to wear it down for later. But again, Dom tries to fight through it to get to his feet – only to get taken down by a double knee armbreaker! After that one, Dom has to roll out of the ring to tend to his shoulder and wipe the blood from his eye as TCB remains in the ring. That is until she springboards off the top rope with a cross body block all the way to the outside!

Stephy Auger: The Crimson Baroness goes airborne, Cruise! We don’t usually see her do that too often, but she’s pulling out all the stops to beat Dom tonight.

Kris Cruise: I think I might’ve seen her do that before, but I can’t say for sure.

The Crimson Baroness stands back up on the outside to bask in the adulation, even if it sounds like boos. Undeterred, she brings Dom back to his feet and promptly wraps his arm around the ring post. The action heads back inside the ring as Dom is rolled in under the bottom rope. TCB follows him in and runs against the ropes for momentum, coming back with a clothesline – NO! Dom ducks under the arm and spins, hoisting TCB up onto his shoulders for the Samoan driver – NO! TCB lands on her feet and catches Dom with a boot to the gut before planting him with a jumping DDT! A hook of the leg!

The Crimson Baroness sits up in shock, and is quickly in the face of the referee wanting to know how that wasn’t a three count. But the official is adamant it was only a two.

Kris Cruise: She’s claiming that was a slow count, but it wasn’t. Dom just kicked out.

Stephy Auger: Were you counting in Mississippis, Cruise? That was clearly a slow count.

The argument takes long enough that Dom is able to get to one knee, though, which is where he stays until TCB turns back around. And she’s drilled with a rising lariat! Harter grimaces, holding his shoulder as he takes a moment to recover; his opponent is just coming to in the center of the ring as he drags her back to her feet, sending TCB towards the corner with an Irish whip. Harter follows her in with a jumping double knee strike, before another Irish whip sends TCB from pillar to post. This time Harter charges in after her with a Yakuza kick!

The Baroness staggers out of the corner, right into the waiting arms of Dom Harter and his stalling fisherman buster! She gets driven head and shoulders first into the mat, and Harter crawls across to hook a leg.

This time it’s Harter’s turn to sit in shock, and wipe the blood from his eye again. The cut is still flowing as Dom stands back up, waiting in the corner for TCB to get back to her feet. As she does so, Dom charges in with a lariat – NO! TCB ducks under the arm and catches it, countering with an STO backbreaker as both competitors turn to face one another. She recovers first, moving towards Harter’s legs as he’s down on the mat as she holds them up. A quick stomp to the groin earns TCB an admonishment from the referee as Dom rolls around in pain again. But she does it again, this time hitting a leg drop as the referee warns her more sternly than before.

Kris Cruise: She’ll have to be careful not to get disqualified here. Nobody wants to see the match end like that.

Harter gets up to all fours as TCB steps away from the referee’s warnings, and she runs at her opponent, rolling over to catch Dom with Subjection (cross armbreaker)! The fans look shocked at the swiftness of the move, but they’re relieved to see Dom has his hands clasped together to prevent the proper execution of the submission. The crowd begin to rally behind The Tenacious Little Bastard as he struggles to keep his hands clasped; TCB is prying at them with everything she has … but even then Dom begins to stand back up. A look of worry spreads across The Baroness’ face as she’s lifted up into the air and planted with a powerbomb!

Kris Cruise: What strength from Dom Harter there!

Stephy Auger: No, he’s supposed to be down. This was supposed to be over right there, but now Dom’s just found a way back into this match!

Harter falls to one knee afterwards, taking a moment to catch his breath as TCB rolls towards the ropes. She slowly uses them to pick herself up, albeit in a daze, when Dom catches her from behind with a belly-to-back suplex! The crowd cheer as Dom stands back up with TCB in his arms, before he tosses her with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex!

The Baroness stumbles back to her feet again, this time doubled over, as Harter catches her with a running knee lift! She bolts upright, spinning on the spot as Dom carries on against the ropes, coming back with another Yakuza kick! TCB hits the mat hard, but is quickly lifted back to her feet and hoisted up onto Dom’s shoulders for the Samoan driver! A hook of the leg!

TCB kicks out at the last second, and Dom can’t quite believe it! He holds his shoulder in pain as he stands back up, bringing TCB with him in a front facelock.

Kris Cruise: What’s she doing out here?

He asks as Annie Zellor appears at the top of the aisle. She runs down to the ring, sliding the belt into the ring before she jumps up onto the apron like she did a few weeks ago – but Harter ignores her. He grabs TCB by the waist to lift her for an implant DDT – NO! She drops down and nails Dom with a low blow! And luckily for her it’s the referee who’s distracted by Annie, so he doesn’t see the low blow! The crowd are booing heavily as TCB positions the Mid-Atlantic Legacy title in place, before she plants Harter face first into it with the Dom’ed double arm DDT! She kicks the belt away and out of the ring as Annie drops off the apron, letting the referee turn around to see TCB hooking the leg.

Kris Cruise: Not like this…

Stephy Auger: She did it, Cruise! The Crimson Baroness wins her FGA debut with a victory over Dom Harter himself!

Kris Cruise: Highway robbery, that’s what that was! Annie Zellor screwed Dom over again to help her tag team partner this time.

The Small Boob Wrecking Crew celebrate the victory inside the ring, Annie posing with her title belt high in the air, and one foot on Dom’s chest as the crowd continue to boo. The Baroness is up on the turnbuckle, celebrating her successful debut…

Stephy Auger: Even if Dom learned his lesson about not getting distracted, the referee was elsewhere and The Crimson Baroness capitalized on that fact.

Kris Cruise: The Low Blow Queen strikes again. And Dom’s run of bad luck continues for another week.

The Small Boob Wrecking Crew exit the ring before Harter begins to stir; he manages to sit up in time to see them posing at the top of the aisle, with Annie raising the title belt – with a smear of Dom’s blood on it – high above her head. And The Tenacious Little Bastard glares at them both.

SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
The Usual Suspects and Jimmy Jam Ronie vs. Elysian Empire and Mistress Ai

The bell sounds as the Suspects and the Empire get into it in the middle of the ring. Both teams trade punches back and forth between the members. The cheers begin to turn to boos once the Suspects gain the upperhand. But the boos end up turning back to cheers when the tide turns in favor of the Empire. Elon and Emery continue to throw out right hands on Tryon and Marx. The blows continue to connect and continue to move the Suspects back towards the ropes. Once the Suspects are against the ropes, Elon begins to throwing out wild rights and lefts on Marx while Emery nails Tryon with shoulder thrusts to the midsection. They then take the Suspects and go for an irish whip. But the Suspects reverse, sending the Empire into the far ropes. When the Empire return, they connects with clothesline that send all four men over the top rope and to the floor.

“Adrenaline” by Nine Lashes sounds out from the speakers and the fans excitedly jump to their feet. The lights begin to flicker as the opening guitar rift sounds out. The Elysian Empire make their way from the behind the curtain led by Effie Elysian. Emery and Elon bump fist as Effie presents them to the cheering crowd. They flex their muscles to the crowd before making their way down the ramp.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Six Man Tag Team Match! Introducing team number one, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 495 pounds! They are the team of Emery and Elon Elysian… the ELYSIAAAAAN EEEEEEMPIIIIIREEEEE!!!

Elon slides into the ring while Emery takes the ring steps. Effie takes the steps as well and Emery sits on the second rope allowing Effie to easily enter the ring. Elon has already begun to stretch using the ropes and turnbuckle. Emery joins him as Effie begins to coach her brothers up. As they stretch the music begins to fade. The brothers bump fists once more as the bell rings.

"Reach Out" by Hilary Duff blares through the P.A. System as Ai bursts out from behind the curtain! As Ai stood at the entrance smoke began to erupt each side of her - soon shrouding her body as the fans waiting with a bit of anticipation.

J.A. Aldridge: And their partner, making her way to the ring from Kyoto City, Kyoto, Japan she is the most amazing Hafu in the history of the human race......

The Mistress began to run through the smoke in the direction of ring slapping hands with some of the fans who were in attendance to see some amazing competition. Once Ai was close to the ring she slid into it.

J.A. Aldridge: “MISTRESSSSSSS” AIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!

Once Ai regained footing she ran towards one of the turnbuckles climbing up to the top of it as the crowd let out a wave of cheers for her. Well aware of her eccentric attitude and what it would bring to the squared circle. Ai then dropped down to await her opposition.

“Right now it’s time to…”

Jimmy Jam Ronie bursts through the curtain; shouting into the nearest camera.

“KICK OUT THE JAMS *CENSORED*!!!”

A loud beep drowns out the expletive and a black bar covers his mouth. The neon clad grappler throws himself back first into the guard rail. Jimmy Jam Ronie jumps back into the center of the aisle as soon as a fan pats him on the shoulder. Putting his dukes up, he shouts “YOU DON’T DESERVE TO TOUCH ME!”

J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents! Introducing first, from the backroads of your mind! Weighing in at 217 pounds…. JIIIIMMYYYY JAAAAAAM ROOOOONIEEEE!!!

After adjusting his tattered and patch covered jean vest he takes a running start; before leaping over the bottom rope and rolling to his feet. Ronie quickly steps up to the center of the bottom rope. placing his right foot on the middle rope; he berates the fans at ringside.

Dimebag Darrell’s building rift of “Cowboys from Hell” by Pantera abruptly begins over the PA system and the fans rise in anticipation of The Usual Suspects. The song begins its heavy thrashing as the dual guitars begin their monstrous battle for supremacy as the arena lights dim. A red spotlight shines on the black curtains and the fog begins to rise when Phil Anselmo’s screaming vocals begin…

Oh…COME ON!!!

Anthony Rother steps through the curtains dressed in one of his usual suits, holding his leather briefcase that he claims is only protecting contracts with FGA Management. Marx & Tryon step out from the entrance and stand in front of the smoked out curtains as the house lights return to brightness.

Under the lights where we stand tall

Showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without
We’re gonna take what’s ours to have
Spread the word throughout the land
They say the bad guys wear black
We’re tagged and can’t turn back

Both men are dawning black hooded sweatshirts that obscure their face over their singlets. The trio stare out into the crowd, take in boos, and then begin walking to the ring. Rother jaws with a few of the fans in the aisle way.

J.A. Aldridge: And his partners, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 462 pounds! They are the team of Jason Marx and Chris Tryon, the UUUUUSUAL SUUUUUUSPECTS!!!

You see us comin’
And you all together run for cover
We’re taking over this town

The two men pause at the base of the ring apron as Rother ascends into the ring and steps through the ropes.

Here we come reach for your gun
And you better listen well my friend, you see
It’s been slow down below,
Aimed at you we’re the cowboys from hell

Both men hop up onto the ring apron next and enter through the ropes as the music begins to fade. They begin removing their shirts as Rother begins a brief coaching session before the bell rings.

Kris Cruise: We’re about to get underway with some Six Man Tag Team action. But we’ve got to talk about the most recent development, Stephy. The Elysian Empire will now be challenging the Usual Suspects for the World Tag Team Titles at Grapple Kingdom!

Stephy Auger: Both teams held a win over the other until the Suspects won the titles a few weeks back. However, Rother was beyond embarrassed after the Elysian Empire came out and ruined his celebration with that freak Prince Kamijo. The Empire are getting their shot at the titles at Grapple Kingdom. But The Suspects will get their chance at revenge as well.

Kris Cruise: Also in this match we have the two grapplers that used to make up the Rising Circus, Jimmy Jam Ronie and Mistress Ai. But they’re on opposite teams! Can you see them going after each other if they both get tagged in?

Stephy Auger: Why not? There’s been a lot of speculation about whether or not these two will team up again since they returned around the same time. But if I’m the Elysian Empire or the Usual Suspects, if I tag in Ai and Ronie and the other is the legal man, I want them to go after them. They’re not a team anymore! So in my mind, there should be no issues with them going after each other.

The bell sounds as the Suspects and the Empire get into it in the middle of the ring. The crowd’s goign wild as champions and challengers slug it out in the middle of the ring. However, the cheers begin to turn to boos once the Suspects gain the upperhand. The boos then turn back to cheers when the tide turns in favor of the Empire. Elon and Emery continue to throw out right hands on Tryon and Marx. The blows continue to connect and continue to move the Suspects back towards the ropes. Once the Suspects are against the ropes, Elon begins to throwing out wild rights and lefts on Marx while Emery nails Tryon with shoulder thrusts to the midsection. They then take the Suspects and go for an irish whip. But the Suspects reverse, sending the Empire into the far ropes. When the Empire return, they connect with clothesline that send all four men over the top rope and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: A pair of clotheslines has just sent all four grapplers to the floor, Stephy!

Ronie and Ai then step through the ropes and rush towards the center of the ring… only to slam the brakes when they’re inching away from each other.

Kris Cruise: This should be interesting, Stephy!

While the Suspects and Empire try to pull themselves up off the floor, Ronie and Ai continue to stare at each other in the center of the ring.

Stephy Auger: What are they both waiting for!? FIGHT!

The staredown ends when Ronie and Ai run into the far ropes. When they return, Ai leaps through the ropes and knocks Tryon down with a suicide dive. Meanwhile, Ronie connects with a middle rope springboard plancha that knocks both members of the Empire down.

Kris Cruise: Did Ai and Ronie just work together to take out members of their opposing teams!?

On the outside, Marx picks up Emery and rolls him back into the ring. He then slides in and makes the cover.

Emery gets his shoulder up.

Marx picks up Emery, moves him into the corner and unleashes a series of corner clotheslines, followed by a series of knee strikes, followed by a series of elbows strikes, followed by a series of shoulder thrusts. He then hooks both arms before launching Emery out of the corner with a double underhook suplex. The crowd boos as he heads over and makes the cover.

Emery gets his shoulder up.

Marx picks up Emery and sends him stumbling back into the ropes with a headbutt. Marx goes over, pulls Emery off the ropes and knocks him down with another headbutt. He then steps back and delivers a falling headbutt before making the cover.

Emery gets his shoulder up.

Marx picks up Emery, leans him against the ropes and delivers a throat thrust before tagging Tryon back in. The Suspects then take Emery and whip him into the far ropes. When Emery returns, the Suspects set up for a double back body drop. So Emery stops and kicks Marx in the face. When Tryon steps up, Emery throws out a kick to the midsection. After Tryon catches his foot, Emery throws out an enzuigiri. But Tryon ducks, causing Marx to get caught with the kick. Tryon puts his hands on his head in shock as Marx staggers over towards the ropes and falls to the apron. When Tryon turns around, Emery peppers him with snapping jabs. He then throws out a right cross, but Tryon ducks. Tryon then immediately ducks a left cross. But he’s not able to avoid the legsweep. Emery makes the cover.

Tryon kicks out.

Emery takes Tryon by the arm, drags him over towards the corner and tags Elon in. Once Elon gets in, he doubles Tryon over with a punch to the midsection before flattening him with a double ax handle smash across the back. He then brings Tryon back to his feet before shoving him into the corner. Elon sizes Tryon up before unleashing a ballistic combination of rights and left to the head and body. He then takes Tryon and whips him into the opposite corner. Elon charges across the ring and into the corner, but Tryon knocks him back with a back elbow. He then goes to follow up with a running clothesline from out of the corner. But Elon sends him to the mat with a fireman’s carry takeover before smoothly transitioning into a cross armbar.

Kris Cruise: Look at that takedown by Elon! AND NOW HE’S GOT THE ARMBAR LOCKED IN!

Tryon tries to desperately keeps his hands clasped together. But Elon is able to yank back and break the grip.

Kris Cruise: He’s got it fully locked in now!

Stephy Auger: Oh no!

Elon successfully hyperextends the arm. Both Tryon and Rother can be heard screaming. Tryon’s screaming from the pain while Rother is screaming from seeing his client trapped in a submission. Just as Tryon’s about to throw in the towel, Ronie delivers a spinning boot scrape across Elon’s face, breaking the hold.

As Ronie heads back out onto the apron, Tryon shakes off his arm before running over and putting the boots to Elon. Tryon picks up, Elon, snapmares him down and delivers three quick leg drops before making the cover.

Tryon picks him up, marches across the ring and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Elon around, Tryon delivers four shoot kicks to the chest. He goes to follows up with a jumping back kick. But Elon swats his leg down. He then grabs Tryon from behind before walking him out of the corner. Elon then sets up for a German Suplex into the turnbuckles. But Tryon nails him with three elbows to the face. Once the hold is broken, Tryon runs into the far ropes. When Tryon returns, he goes for a cross body block. But Elon catches him in mid air before hurling him over his head with a fallaway slam.

After Tryon rolls underneath the bottom rope, he tries to pull himself up on the apron. But Emery runs over and throws him down with an STO.

Kris Cruise: His back has to be killing him after that STO on the apron!

Emery holds up Tryon as Ai scales to the top turnbuckle.

Stephy Auger: What’s Ai doing!?

Kris Cruise: I don’t know. But it doesn’t look good for Tryon...

Emery moves out of the way as Ai leaps off the top. The crowd roars with cheers as she knocks him down with a diving crossbody to the outside.

Kris Cruise: Ai takes out Tryon with a crossbody to the floor!

Emery picks up Tryon and rolls him back inside, where Elon is waiting to make the cover.

Tryon gets his foot on the bottom rope.

Elon heads over and tags in Ai. The crowd cheers as Ai gets in and goes to work on Tryon. She takes Tryon, moves him into the ropes and delivers a set of stinging chops before whipping him into the far ropes. When Tryon returns, Ai throws out the Gamma Ray Burst (running bicycle kick). But Tryon slides underneath it. When Ai lands on her feet and turns around, the crowd boos when Tryon knocks her down with a superkick. He then heads over and tags Marx back in.

The crowd boos as Marx puts the boots to Ai before yanking her back to her feet. He then takes Ai and flings her into the corner before connecting with a body avalanche in the corner. He then begins to send Ai slumping down in the corner with clubbing strikes to the head. From there, he chokes Ai with his boot The ref immediately gives him until a count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO…. THREE… FOUR…. FIV-

Marx lets go and steps back. But he does so a little too late. While the ref admonishes Marx, Tryon gets in behind the referee’s back and puts the boots to Ai. He then begins choking out while the boos continue.

The Empire see the blatant cheating. So Elon rushes into the ring. But Marx points him out at the ref. The ref then goes over and holds Elon back. Elon tries to point out the cheating going on behind the ref. But the ref admonishes him about leaving his corner. While this is going on, the boos continue as the Suspects double team Ai in the corner with stomps to the body. They then step away and motion for Ronie to join in on the fun. But he doesn’t look to enthused about seeing his former partner being double teamed.

Kris Cruise: It doesn’t look like Ronie wants to join in and make this a triple team on Ai.

Stephy Auger: Well why the hell not!? She’s not his partner, they are!

Once order has been restored, Marx throws Ai down with a scoop slam and follows up with an elbow drop. He makes the cover.

Marx goes over and extends his hand out to Ronie. But again, Ronie doesn’t look that excited about going after his former tag partner. Marx then turns and tags Tryon back in. Tryon gets in, picks up Ai and throws her down with a scoop slam before heading into the ropes. When Tryon returns, he connects with a somersault leg drop. He turns and makes the cover.

Tryon heads into the corner and holds his hand out for Ronie. But again, Ronie is looking conflicted. So Tryon opts to tag Marx back in. Marx gets in and holds up Ai from behind. On cue, the Suspects deliver a superplex/German Suplex combination.

Marx goes over and extends his hand out for Ronie. But Ronie looks down. Marx then shakes his head before tagging Tryon back in. While Tryon hoists himself up onto the middle ropes, Marx wraps his arms around Ai’s legs. On Rother’s cue, the crowd boos as the Suspects deliver a catapult/diving clothesline combination. Tryon makes the cover.

Tryon heads over and holds his hand out for Ronie to tag in. But Ronie turns and looks away. Tryon shakes his head before tagging Marx back in. Marx heads over, picks up Ai and whips her into the ropes. When Ai returns, Marx throws her down with a big back body drop. While Ai arches her back in pain, Marx marches over and puts his hand out for the tag. But again, Ronie refused. Marx has had enough. So he grabs Ronie and flings him into the ring.

Stephy Auger: Marx has had enough of Ronie’s crap and to that I say GOOD! What the heck is Ronie’s deal, anyway, Cruise? The man’s here to fight and support his teammates!

As Ronie slowly returns to his feet, Marx emphatically points at Ai as he gives Ronie his marching orders. He turns to Tryon who points at Ai. Ronie then looks over at Rother, who is screaming at Ronie to break her. Ronie looks at Ai, who is stirring on the canvas. He motions towards her, but he stops himself. He then turns back to Marx and shakes his head. Tryon holds his arms up in disbelief while Rother yells at him.

Kris Cruise: He’s not doing it, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: This guy right here...

Marx gets up in Ronie’s face and demands that he goes after Ai. To the delight of the crowd, Ronie refuses. So Marx smirks as he turns away… only to turn back and slap the taste right out of Ronie’s mouth. Ronie turns away and he holds his cheek.

Kris Cruise: ...

Stephy Auger: ...

While Ronie is still turned away, Marx can be seen reading Ronie the riot act. Ronie then slowly turns back to Marx before returning the favor with a slap of his own. The crowd roars with cheers.

Stephy Auger: WHAT!?

Marx turns back to Ronie and throws out a punch. But Ronie blocks and counters with a punch of his own. Ronie unleashes a series of right hands that knock Marx into the corner.

Kris Cruise: Look at Ronie go! He’s had enough to Marx barking orders at him!

Stephy Auger: Oh, now he wants to fight!

Ronie continues unloading punches until Tryon attacks him from behind. The crowd boos as The Usual Suspects attack Ronie.

Stephy Auger: Good! They should stomp a mudhole in that traitor!

The boos turn to cheers when Ai turns Tryon around and begins hitting him with Battlegrounds Uppercuts. Rother is irate on the floor as Ronie has turned on the Suspects.

Kris Cruise: The former members of the Rising Circus are taking it to the Usual Suspects!

Stephy Auger: No, no, no, no, no...

Ronie and Ai take the Suspects and whip them into the ropes. When the Suspects return, the crowd roars with cheers as Ronie doubles Marx over and brings him down with That’s My Jam (double arm inverted stomp facebreaker). Meanwhile, Ai knocks Tryon down with the Gamma Ray Burst.

Kris Cruise: The Suspects have been laid out! The Usual Suspects have just been laid out by Jimmy Jam Ronie and Mistress Ai!

Stephy Auger: Dammit! Dammit dammit dammit!

While The Usual Suspects are sprawled across the mat, Ronie and Ai heads towards the ropes, exiting to the floor and making their way up the aisle. On the way out of the ring, Ronie tags out to Elon.

Stephy Auger: He can’t do this! He can’t just leave the Usual Suspects like this!

Kris Cruise: He just did!

After tossing Tryon to the floor, the Elysian Empire pick up Marx, lift him up and throw him down with the Elysian Special (aided fire thunder bomb). Elon makes the cover.

The crowd continue to cheer as Effie Elysian gets in the ring and raises Elon and Emery’s arms in the air. Rother can be seen blowing a gasket on the outside.

Kris Cruise: The Elysian Empire and Mistress Ai pick up the win. But not before Jimmy Jam Ronie turned on The Usual Suspects and laid them out along with his former tag team partner, Mistress Ai!

Stephy Auger: There is going to be hell to pay. You understand? Hell! To! Pay!

[FGA Office]

We cut to the backstage area where we are invited to a large, open part of the backstage area with a clear view of the makeup specialists and venue staff in the background, conversing with one another, though we quickly pan over to the obvious subjects, Noelle Smith and 3GW wrestler, Jenny Knite! We catch them already mid-way through a conversation.

Jenny Knite: ...so I was just like ‘I’m not going to Washington without stealing Noe for the weekend’, so that’s exactly what I’m doing whenever the show’s over. Haha, I’d totallyyy be lying though if I said I didn’t wanna hang by the curtains during Sadie versus Karma and see if she’s nearly as good as she says she is when she’s in a one-on-one match.

Noelle Smith: It’s hard to say, cutie pie… like I know it’s expected by people that I’m going to trash her out of hand for being close to Evan. You know that’s not it. It would be so much easier if that was it.

Noelle sighs and twists at the waist so she can look at herself in one of the mirrors even though they aren’t really that close, using the tip of her pinky to slightly blend a bit of her eyeliner before turning back to Jenny.

Noelle Smith: I can’t put it into words, this gut feeling something is super off with that girl. I’m pretty sure though she hates me, not that it matters towards what you’re scouting her for anyhow. It’s just so… weird, and baby Jesus do I know weird.

???: DO you? Tell us more. Please.

Evan Envi strolls into frame, dressed in a pair of slacks and a black turtleneck, though the voice doesn’t belong to the Chief. Although he gives Jenny a warm smile, he never looks at Noelle. Sadie San Francisco walks into frame a moment later, taking a step past Evan to shoot an annoyed look toward Jenny, though she focuses a glare on Noelle.

Sadie San Francisco: You’re such an insightful person, Noelle, Isweartogod. I wanna know what the issue is, honestly…

She takes a breath, composing herself.

Sadie San Francisco: You think I’m crazy because… what… because of the company I keep? Fine. Heard it for years. Same argument, different company. But the moment-- the literal second-- you met me, you had an issue with me. Jenny was there. She saw the whole thing. And you could at least say why.

Noelle Smith: Oh I’m sure you already know, Sadie. But since you want to hear me say it? You already had made up your mind how you were going to be with me, before you ever came down there. You’re going to huff and protest and tell me I’m wrong, that you don’t let what the people around you say or think influence you because you’re a strong independant woman don’t need her no man, or whatever trash you tell yourself, but it’s all the same damage, Sadie because we all do it.

Noelle nods, and shoots a very apologetic look towards only Jenny. Jenny begins holding her breath, anticipating the awkwardness.

Noelle Smith: Nothing I said to you that night would have been remotely right. You had that same face on that my grandma would have right before she’d bust into a tirade about one of us getting into her things, Sadie. You were just looking for an excuse so you could run back and tell your friends what a total bitch I am, and how right they were about me the whole time. You are as big an enabler as I ever was to Evan’s own special brand of crazy or you wouldn’t be here right now, right now pretending that he can’t talk because he lost a wittle title match to Molly Reid.

Jenny’s jaw hangs open a bit. Evan’s distant gaze and smile finally turns toward Noelle and he sighs. Sadie looks up toward Evan, a thoughtful expression on her face before she says anything.

Sadie San Francisco: Evan. Would you please say something to Noelle? Please.

This draws an audible-- and short-lived-- pop from the audience. Envi clears his throat and steps forward, opening his mouth as he leans toward Noelle.

Sadie San Francisco: Wait, wait, wait, wait…

And a chorus of boos erupt from the crowd as Sadie steps forward again, shaking her head.

Sadie San Francisco: You’re not worth the energy, Noelle. Evan shouldn’t have to strain himself because of you. Jesus, I shouldn’t have to. You have nothing better to do than badmouth your ex-boyfriend when he can’t even defend himself. Gross.

Noelle makes a slight huffing sound, not really a sigh and shakes her head.

Noelle Smith: Wow. Just… wow. You want the real secret, Sadie? The really real secret? Evan doesn’t care that you’re the one helping him. You could be anybody about your height and weight, though he likes a little more jiggle to the wiggle. When you screw up just enough? You’re going up on the altar just like every other little lamb that wanted to snuggle up with him. So you go on and enjoy that. Keep thinking that I’m just a groupie while you’re at it too, even though you know better all too personally. Because you’re funny, right? You’re so quippy and clever while you puke up every little sound bite he hand fed you earlier.

She takes a deep breath, and lets it out, her expression going almost painfully sympathetic towards Sadie.

Noelle Smith: I don’t even hate you Sadie. It’s all reflex, it’s all that defensiveness that comes up at even the stink of his hundred dollar a bottle cologne. I don’t even think I could hate you if I wanted to.

Sadie San Francisco: Noelle, I think you’re disgusting, and I really want this condescending faux-pity BS to cease. You’re like, a notch above Brian Stryker, who, himself, is like, a notch above Johnny Karma, so you’ve got something going for you, but I still find you repulsive.

Sadie thinks about it for a moment and glances at Evan before looking back at Noelle.

Sadie San Francisco: Actually. Switch those two. But, yes, very ew. Save your pity. Save your stupid pep talks, and watch what I do to Karma. You and Jenny can go find Stryker and his adorable son Richie-- wherever Stryker is, haven’t seen him-- and watch… your Pope… do work.

Noelle Smith: I don’t even fake pity you, Sadie. So let me give you a little slice of peace of mind instead. Go do your...work. Work that flat little tail off while you’re at it.

Noelle steps back, just out of arm’s reach.

Noelle Smith: Because no matter how hard you try? You’re never going to be the one he wants as his partner. Not now. Not even if you won the FGA World Title. Good luck though, all the luck in the world.

There is an audible ”OOOOOHH!” from the audience. Sadie rolls her eyes and nudges Evan before turning, making her way down the corridor. Rubbing his lip a bit, Evan’s gaze never seems to have left Noelle since her initial address. He rolls his eyes toward Jenny, giving her a broad smile before lazily turning away, following behind Sadie down the corridor.

Noelle Smith: Sorry Jenny. That woman brings out my temper like woah. And Sadie’s a pain.

She tries a laugh but it sounds a little flat even to her.

Noelle Smith: But yeah… I’m sorry if you feel stuck in the middle here. I don’t want that, I swear I don’t.

Jenny lets out the breath that she had apparently been holding for a long time.

Jenny Knite: No… that was uh… do whatever you need to do. Pretty certain I’m like, a hundred percent on your side. I uh…

Jenny catches her breath.

Jenny Knite: Lightheaded. I really hate awkward situations. I’m gonna find a chair.

Jenny nods a bit and continues to take deep breaths.

Jenny Knite: Or a floor.

She hugs Noelle and walks off, out of frame in a daze. Noelle shakes her head a little, laughing to herself, though her expression turns serious as she looks in the direction Sadie and Evan disappeared to. With a small nod, Noelle follows after Jenny Knite and we fade to black.

[ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

[FGA Office]

The cameras cut backstage to a shot of Molly Reid, dressed in her usual wrestling gear with the FGA Pride Championship belt slung over her shoulder. She’s sling-free this time, though looks like she might be favoring her good one. Spencer Burke stands beside her with a microphone in hand, before looking at the camera.

Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with FGA’s Pride Champion, Molly Reid. Molly, I think the first thing that’s on everyone’s mind is how’s your shoulder? You’ve got no sling, does that mean it’s fully healed?

Molly Reid: My shoulder’s fine. I took the sling off a few days ago, have been training and rolling since and no setbacks or lingering pain. So I think it’s safe to say that I’m all healed up and ready to go.

Spencer Burke: Did you ever consider sitting out of this match to let your shoulder heal a bit more? After all, letting Chris Madison compete this week and you not could give you a slight advantage over him come Grapple Kingdom.

Molly Reid: No Spencer, not even for a second. Why would I sit out a match? I feel like people don’t understand when I say that I love wrestling. I would wrestle someone every single day if I had that option. I don’t think it’s any advantage to sit out while Madison wrestles tonight. If anything it would be better for him, I’d be rusty going into our match. But I love to compete Spencer. I never even considered sitting out for any match. My plan was always to step back into this ring and compete as soon as my shoulder was ready. Whatever happens tonight, that has no bearing on what happens in my match at Grapple Kingdom. I’m going to get in that ring and compete as hard as I can against two really talented wrestlers.

Spencer Burke: Speaking of your match, teaming with Chris Madison and facing off against the team of Izzy Anders and Savannah Taylor. Do you think the two of you will be able to work together and beat those two women? I don’t know if you saw the video from earlier but it seems clear that they’ll be able to work together.

Molly Reid: Course I do. Chris and I respect each other. He might have a few dumb opinions or wrong ideas about me and what’s happened lately, but the mutual respect is still there. We’ll be fine. We both know how talented Izzy and Savannah can be in that ring, and I have no doubt that they’ll be looking to work together and get a win. They both want a chance at my belt right? I’ve got to go out there and prove to them just what they’d be up against if they got that chance. Plus, they kinda gave Chris a bunch of extra motivation. Izzy said that they were both already more worthy contenders than Chris, so I’m pretty sure he’s going to do everything he can to prove them wrong. But that’s their mistake. Because Chris and I are going to be fine. Better than fine. We’re going to be a team, and we’re going to walk out tonight as the winners.

With that, Molly turns around and walks into a dressing room behind her. The camera lingers on a shot of Spencer for a moment, before cutting into Molly’s dressing room. She sits down on a chair and rubs her shoulder briefly, before there’s a quick knock on the door.

Molly Reid: It’s open

Molly looks up at the door as it opens and Chris Madison walks in wearing his ring gear. She sits up a bit straighter as she looks at him.

Molly Reid: Well, well, well…

Chris Madison: No need to stiffen up. I told you that you had nothing to worry about. We…

Chris waves his finger back and forth, pointing at Molly and then back at himself.

Chris Madison: Despite my take on how things played out in your match against Dom, we’ll settle up at Grapple Kingdom; no sooner.

Molly Reid: Yeah yeah, old habits die hard right?

Molly loosened up a bit as she relaxed in her chair and looked ahead for a few moments before looking back at Chris.

Molly Reid: Ready to do this tonight then?

Chris Madison: I’m always ready to go to war. But by the looks of it, I should be the one asking you if you’re ready to do this tonight.

Chris pointed towards Molly’s arm that had previously been held up in a sling. Molly rotated it slowly without showing any hint of pain on her face, whether she was hiding it or it was genuine was unclear

Molly Reid: Don’t worry about me, my shoulder’s fine. As good as it’s ever been really.

Chris Madison: Good. Just so you know, as soon as that bell rings, I’m one hundred percent committed to this sudden pairing. But when the match is over, it’s game on… I want you at your best for Grapple Kingdom; even if that means taking on the brunt of this tag match.

Molly shakes her head as she stands up out of her seat and looks at Chris, slinging her Pride Championship belt over her shoulder as she does so.

Molly Reid: Look, you do whatever it is you want to do. But I’m not asking you to do anything special for me. My shoulder is fine, I’m not going to be anything less than one hundred percent for our match at Grapple Kingdom, no matter what happens tonight. You don’t need to do any extra. We’re a team tonight and I’m committed to that just like you are. I know you want to get out there and make Izzy and Savannah eat their words for saying that they deserve the shot more than you do. I want to get out there and shut them the hell up too. We respect each other and that’s all we need to drive us as a team, right?

Chris Madison: Izzy and Savannah aren’t the first people to think they’re more deserving than I am. This industry is full of critics. I’m used to it. It’s going to take more than some off the wall claim to get under my skin. With as good as you’ve been as of late, if we can keep this match strictly about shutting up a pair of loudmouths, we’re going to be the ones with our hands raised after the closing bell rings…

Molly listens as Chris finishes up. She stands there for a moment, before slowly extending her hand.

Molly Reid: That’s all this match is going to be. We’re a team tonight, we’ll wrestle as a team and we’ll win as a team. Izzy and Savannah can talk all they want about whatever the hell they want. I don’t care if they think they deserve the title shot that you’re getting because frankly, they don’t. You’ve earned this shot, they haven’t. So tonight we get to show them what happens when they call us out like that. Then in two weeks, we’ll steal the show at Grapple Kingdom. No bullsh*t, no outside help, no excuses. Just you, me, and this title.

Chris Madison: Let’s go show these two why we’re the ones booked in that title match, while they’re grasping at straws, trying to get noticed…

Chris punches his hand out in front of Molly while locking eyes with his soon-to-be opponent. Molly reaches out and grabs Chris’ hand and shakes it, while not breaking their stare

Molly Reid: Sounds like a plan to me

The camera lingers on the two of them shaking hands for a few moments, before fading out and going to a commercial.

The atmosphere in Johnny Karma's locker room is a lot colder than you would normally assume, and it has nothing to do with the Xfinity Arena's heating. Instead the atmosphere has taken on a certain dank chill because, at the last show, Izzy Anders once again stayed one step ahead of Karma which allowed her to continue to play the mind games she's been playing with him recently - and yet Karma continues to be unable to find a way to successfully combat them

So instead Karma sits in his locker room, prepared for him match against Sadie San Francisco yet at the same time he isn't, as his boots have not been laced up and his ring jacket is hanging off his shoulders without being zipped up or fastened by the wrists, and he is staring at the floor as he tries to find a way out of this funk

Johnny Karma: How much longer do you think until I'm up?

Looking up from her phone, where she's got this edition of Vertigo streaming, Cherry weighs up the odds of how longer the match between Annie Zellor and Owen Gonsalves can feasibly last

Cherry Baum: At a guess, six to eight minutes for the match, a couple of minutes for the ring crew to clear up, and maybe a couple more if the ad break takes its time.

Johnny Karma: Ten minutes? Huh...

Rather than sound dynamic, there's an air of resignation to Karma's delivery as his eyes barely deviate from looking at the floor, not even when he reaches for a bottle of water - only for the bottle to fall to the floor, spilling its contents everywhere

Johnny Karma: Son of a...

Slowly, Karma gets up off the bench and walks around the ever-growing puddle on the locker room floor, grabbing a couple of towels off the bench and tossing them one after another onto the floor before stamping down on the towels to try and stimulate their absorption

Johnny Karma: Is there anything else that can go wrong today? Did someone leave a banana skin in the hallway? Is there a couple of guys carrying a sheet of glass past the doorway? Has another travel ban been passed that says I'm not allowed to travel - but don't worry, I'm sure it's not racist...

Grabbing another towel from the bench, Karma looks at the sodden mass of towel on the floor, yet seeing the puddle is taken care of he hurls the towel in his hand across the room

Johnny Karma: I was thinking the year ticking over would see things get better after 366 days of meesa masheena, yet what have we had so far? More of the same, so I'm here asking myself just what did it...?

Holding himself as he realises he's echoing the question that Izzy Anders asked him the last time the pair came face-to-face

Johnny Karma: ...the point is this world's just a horrible place to be and it seems to get worse every time I switch on the TV, yet people are reveling in it, rubbing it in people's faces and not only thinking they've already won, but assuming the people on the receiving end have not only lost but have given in.

Cherry Baum: J-K, you need to stop where you're going with this.

Johnny Karma: Going with what? The fact that I spent the last show getting played like a cheap violin? The fact that, rather than do something about it, I stood there with a dumb look on my face and a complete lack of ideas going through my head when I needed to do something about it? I know how it went and yet what did I do? Nothing.

As soon as that thought becomes a reality, hanging in the air like a ghoulish spectre - yet before either can respond to it, there's a knock at the door, which Cherry tentatively answers to reveal a staffer stood there, barely looking away from their clipboard they try and have a conversation with the person in front of them while having someone yell in their ear the entire time

Staffer: You're on in two minutes, so you need to get ready.

Cherry Baum: Thanks.

Closing the door, Cherry turns to Karma, who has placed one foot on the bench as he starts to lace his boots, although he's pulling on the laces with quite a bit more force than is wise

Johnny Karma: You heard the guy, I've got two minutes.

Cherry Baum: Could you just...

Rather than finish what she's saying, instead Cherry places her hand on Karma's, and in that moment his grip loosens on his laces and he stops lacing his boots in a manner more like an assassin garrotes their victim

Cherry Baum: You need to stop before you hurt yourself, and not just physically but...

Instead of finish her sentence verbally, Cherry places a couple of fingers on the side of Karma's head, telling him that he's running the risk of burning himself out mentally long before he even has a chance to engage with Izzy Anders in an actual match.

Cherry Baum: I know how bad you want to get back at her, but don't let it consume you, because that's how she'll win. She said she wants to destroy you, and unlike the New Kings she doesn't mean physically, so keep your head clear because it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Johnny Karma: Worse...

For a moment it seems like Karma is going to disagree with Cherry's sentiment, as he appears to tense up as he begins to speak

Johnny Karma: ...she's done the worst thing I can imagine, and until I can get that image out of my mind my head won't be clear. But, but, I am keeping my head clear so I can go through life without seeing images of that moment where I prove to her just how much it matters what I do - and everything that leads to that moment where there's nothing she can do about it.

"The Devil's Bleeding Crown" by Volbeat begins to play throughout the arena as Annie Zellor steps out from behind the curtain; the fans in attendance begin to boo as Zellor keeps her head down, bouncing from one foot to the other in time with the music. She raises her head, looking out across the crowd as she stands there with her feet apart, hands on her hips, before finally heading down the aisle.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at one hundred and twenty pounds, from Staten Island, New York, she is the FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, ANNIE ZELLOR!!

Some fans still reach out for the high five, and for those fans Annie obliges. But she tries to drown out the rest of them as they continue to jeer her from a distance. Zellor climbs up the ring steps and stops on the apron, taking another moment to look out across the crowd before she steps into the ring. There, Annie heads to her corner and rests back against the turnbuckles as she waits for this one to get started.

Kris Cruise: This is the final stop for Annie before defending her Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship against Dom Harter at Grapple Kingdom.

Stephy Auger: You meant to say retains against Dom Harter at Grapple Kingdom.

Kris Cruise: Let’s not jump to conclusions. The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship is the only FGA title to elude Dom Harter. He’s a two time FGA World Champion, a former Pride Champion, and a former Tag Team Champion. He’s going to be hungry for that Grand Slam Crown.

Stephy Auger: And Annie always seems to find a way to win when her back’s against the wall.

Kris Cruise: You meant to say cheat when her back’s against the wall.

The hard bass beat of Run The Jewels' "Blockbuster Night Part I" vibrates throughout the arena as the crowd immediately look down the aisle way in anticipation of the man about to step out from behind the curtain.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent...

As soon as Killer Mike spits the first words of the song, "Indestructible" Owen Gonsalves steps through to a pop from the audience as he flips up the collar of his old mentor's ring jacket and begins to analyse the crowd. Once El-P's verse begins, The Submission Alchemist immediately begins to walk down towards the ring, mouthing the words to the song as he acknowledges a few of the folks in the front row.

J.A. Aldridge: Weighing in at two hundred and five pounds, from Melbourne, Australia, Indestructible OWEN GONSALVES!!

Having made his way to the bottom of the ramp, Owen starts shadow boxing to the camera at the bottom of the ramp before throwing an elbow in the camera's direction as El-P says 'ditch 'em'. Owen climbs on the apron and up on the second turnbuckle, looking out to the audience before hopping in the ring. The music slowly fades as Owen removes his ring jacket and begins to warm up, awaiting for the match to start.

Kris Cruise: We’re getting our first look at Owen Gonsalves in singles action…

Stephy Auger: Yeah, Owen’s debut didn’t quite go as planned…

Kris Cruise: That’s putting it mildly. Ricky Valero bailed on him, leaving him to compete against Izzy Anders and Savannah Taylor in a two on one.

Stephy Auger: Don’t make excuses for him. He failed in his debut. And he’ll probably fail tonight too!

Kris Cruise: Well the official seems ready to get things underway…

The opening bell rings and the official steps away from the center of the ring, opening it up for the competitors to engage. Gonsalves cautiously approaches Annie Zellor before locking up in the center of the ring with a collar and elbow tie up. Gonsalves quickly isolates Annie’s left arm, twists it as he steps behind Zellor, and wrenches it into a hammerlock. Annie looks for an escape but Gonsalves transitions into a side headlock. He squeezes as he leans his eighty-five pound weight advantage down onto Annie’s neck. Annie backs Gonsalves against the ropes and manages to shove him off, sending him towards the opposite side of the ring. Gonsalves rebounds off of the ropes and charges towards Zellor, ducking underneath a clothesline attempt. Zellor turns around and sees Gonsalves running back in her direction. Gonsalves leaps up and takes Annie down to the mat with a running Draco Meteora! Gonsalves rolls off of Annie and turns around. She pops to her feet and begins to get hammered with European Uppercuts, driving her back into the turnbuckle. Gonsalves grabs Annie by the wrist and whips her across the ring. He follows suit, chasing behind Annie as she approaches the corner. Instead of hitting the turnbuckles, Annie hops up onto the middle rope and springboards backwards, crashing into Gonsalves with a crossbody. Annie quickly hooks a leg, looking for the quick pinfall.

Stephy Auger: See, just like that she almost had the win!

Kris Cruise: Almost… Plenty of match left.

Annie gets to her feet but quickly is grabbed by Gonsalves, putting her into a cravate headlock. Gonsalves pulls down on Annie’s head and neck, bending her over at the waist. Annie twists her body and counters with an arm drag takedown. Both competitors rise to their feet and Annie hits a second arm drag takedown. They rise once again, this time Annie drops down and sweeps Gonsalves’s legs out from underneath him with a spinning leg sweep. She steps to his side and crashes down onto him with a standing shooting star press! Annie hooks a leg looking, taking another stab at a pinfall.

Stephy Auger: Did that count seem slow?

Kris Cruise: No, looked good to me. Gonsalves still has plenty of fight left in him.

Stephy Auger: For how much longer? Annie’s had his number before.

Kris Cruise: You’re referring to an encounter back in November for New Kingdom PRO. How’d that match end? Oh, right, Annie used her feet on the bottom rope for added leverage to steal a victory. Sound familiar?

Stephy Auger: What are you insinuating?

Annie pulls Gonsalves up to his feet and shoves him back into the turnbuckle. She pulls on him to send him across the ring but he counters and sends her darting towards the turnbuckles. Annie leaps up and lands on the second rope. Before she could springboard backwards, Gonsalves kicks one of her legs out from underneath her, sending her crashing back first onto the canvass. Gonsalves grabs Annie by the arm and pulls her up to her feet. He places one hand on her shoulder and begins to fold her hand backwards at the wrist with his other hand. The pain from the Jim Breaks Special forces Annie down to her knees. Gonsalves brings her back up and moves on from the submission hold, leaping up and bring her arm down across his knees with a double knee armbreaker! Annie wisely rolls underneath the ropes, laying on the edge of the ring to avoid a pin attempt.

Kris Cruise: Good ring awareness from Annie Zellor. Sensing she was in trouble she rolled out of harm's way.

Stephy Auger: Expect anything less from Annie?

Kris Cruise: Actually no.

Gonsalves grabs Annie by the arm again and drags her to the center of the ring. He folds her arm into a triangle and quickly stomps down onto the point of her elbow! She pulls her arm back and clutches her elbow. Gonsalves continues the assault, once again isolating her arm. He grabs the wrist with both hands and sits down on the mat, placing one foot against Annie’s ribs and the other against the top of her shoulder. He begins pulling on her arm, trying to yank it out of its socket. The official checks with Annie for a submission but is waved off. Annie rolls from side to side, picking up momentum before rolling over Gonsalves’s legs and grabbing him with a side headlock. She lays across his chest, prompting a quick count.

Stephy Auger: It’s only a matter of time before Annie takes control of this match!

Gonsalves marches towards Annie after getting to his feet but she surprises him by leaping up and flipping him over with a headscissors takedown. Gonsalves lands near the corner and pulls himself up to his feet. Annie charges at him, possibly for a monkey flip from the corner, but gets met with a boot to the face. Annie staggers backwards as Gonsalves climbs up to the second rope. Annie grabs ahold of the top rope and quickly jumps up, hitting an enzuigiri kick. Gonsalves tumbles backwards over the top rope and lands on the apron. Annie waits until he starts to pick himself up and then charges towards the corner, leaping onto the middle rope and springboarding into a dropkick that knocks Gonsalves off of the apron and into the security barrier! Annie watches as Gonsalves winces in pain. She runs across the ring and rebounds off of the ropes, charging towards Gonsalves. She dives in between the middle and top rope, connecting with a suicide dive that takes Gonsalves off of his feet!

Stephy Auger: Annie soaring through the air!

Kris Cruise: I don’t know how she kept on her feet after that boot to the face. Let alone have the wherewithal to counter and turn things around.

Stephy Auger: Is someone secretly turning into an Annie Zellor fan?

Referee: One… Two… Three… Four…

Annie rolls into the ring under the ropes and watches as Gonsalves pulls himself up with the help of the ring apron.

Referee: Five… Six…

Annie charges, sliding under the ring with a baseball slide, breaking up the officials ten count. Gonsalves wisely lifted the ring apron while taking a step backwards, trapping Annie between the ring and the apron. Gonsalves grabs Annie by the back of the head and begins to tee off with a series of stiff European Uppercutts followed by a jumping knee strike! Annie slumps over and falls to the arena floor. Gonsalves lifts her up and rolls her into the ring. Gonsalves slides in behind her and stalks her as she pulls herself up to her feet. Annie turns around towards her opponent but gets scooped up and slammed down with a Michinoku Driver. Gonsalves sits on top of Annie’s chest and pulls up on a leg for the cover.

Gonsalves pulls Annie up to her feet but she manages to escape thanks to a rake of the eyes. She grabs Gonsalves by the back of the head, tucking hers underneath his chin. She sits out with a jawbreaker that sends Gonsalves stumbling backwards into the corner. Annie lines her opponent up and charges at him, connecting with a discuss clothesline. In the corner she quickly transitions into a running bulldog!

Stephy Auger: I Got Skillz!!

Annie drops down onto Gonsalves for the cover.

Annie pops to her knees and slaps her hands together three times in rapid succession while glaring at the official. She lifts Gonsalves to his feet and begins to chop away at his legs with a series of kicks to the outside of the knee. She drops him to one knee and turns away, running towards the ropes. As she rebounds she slides to a stop, realizing Gonsalves had risen to his feet and ran passed her. She turned around and Gonsalves does a handspring, bouncing his body off of the ropes and back towards Annie, connecting with the Genesis Supernova handspring cutter. Gonsalves flips Annie onto her back and hooks a leg for the cover.

Kris Cruise: Incredible back and forth action tonight. You get the sense Gonsalves really wants that win over Annie to make up for the heart wrenching loss he suffered at her hands.

Stephy Auger: Well life is cruel, you don't always get what you want!

Gonsalves smirks and nods his head. He waits for Annie to climb to her feet and quickly locks on with a rear waist lock. He lifts her up and hesitates, looking for a German Suplex. Annie hits him with few a back elbows to break free. She tries to run away but Owen quickly applies a Full Nelson. Gonsalves tries to lift Annie but she repeatedly stomps down on his foot, breaking free once again. Annie finally gets away and rebounds off of the ropes, jumps up, wrapping her legs around his waist, and plants him face first with a wheelbarrow bulldog. Annie steps through the ropes and stands on the apron, calling for Gonsalves the stand up to his feet. Gonsalves rises up and Annie jumps onto the top rope, springboarding into the ring. Before she could connect with anything, Gonsalves explodes up into the air and catches her with a jumping European Uppercut that flattens the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion.

Kris Cruise: He damn near took Annie’s head off with that one.

Stephy Auger: This doesn't look good. Annie might be knocked out!

Gonsalves is in all fours, trying to collect himself when he sees Annie trying to crawl to the corner. She climbs to her feet but leans against the turnbuckles for support. Gonsalves charges and crushes Zellor in the corner with a running European Uppercutt. He grabs Annie by the wrist and applies a quick wrist lock before pulling her in close and turning her inside out with the Darkest Lariat! He drops down and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Oh thank god!

Kris Cruise: There's that ring presence coming into play! Should have been all over with that short arm lariat from Owen Gonsalves.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, but it's NOT!

Gonsalves lets out an exasperated sigh and shakes his head. He grabs Annie and moves her to the center of the ring. He shoves her head between his legs and locks in a double underhook. Gonsalves flips Annie upside down looking for the Final Gambit No. 2. Annie kicks her feet and forces her way back down to the canvass. She breaks out of the double underhook and drives her knee into Gonsalves gut, sucking the air out of his lungs. Gonsalves gasps for air as Annie spins around him and rolls him up with a school boy. Noticing bad positioning by the official, Annie drapes her feet on the bottom rope for added leverage.

Kris Cruise: A comeback? Gonsalves was just cheated. This audience was robbed of a fantastic match that ends on another sour note!

As the commercial break comes to an end, the cameras cut to the backstage area where we find, as always, intrepid reporter and breaker of scoops, Spencer Burke, standing with his microphone in his hand in front of what appears to be a locker room door. He reaches out with his free hand and knocks a couple of times. A few seconds pass before the door swings open and out steps the figure of Savannah Taylor. She doesn’t have her ivory and black robe on, and the patches of pink that are normally found in her ring attire have been replaced by a vibrant gold. She stands up straight and with her hands resting slightly on her hips as Spencer clears his throat.

Spencer Burke: Savannah, if I may have a few minutes of your time…..

Savannah Taylor: Go for it.

Spencer Burke: In a short while, you will be competing in tag team action against an unlikely duo of Chris Madison and the FGA Pride Champion Molly Reid. What seems even more unlikely is the fact that you and your partner, Izzy Anders, appear to be in sync with each other.

Savannah Taylor: Unlikely? What exactly are you on about, Spencer? Yes, there was a time when this would have seemed very unlikely, but that was then. This is twenty seventeen. Given what is going on in the world right now, myself and Izzy not only becoming a team but a SUCCESSFUL team makes the most sense.

Spencer Burke: There is no denying the fact that you and Izzy are quite the team. However, don’t you think you two will have your work cut out for you against Molly and Chris?

Savannah Taylor: In all honesty? Not really. While Izzy and I have found the formula for winning and working together, I don't think the same can be said for Chris and Molly. Molly has a target on her back, and the number one contender as her partner. How much can she really trust him? She is going to have to spend the majority of the match looking over her shoulder to keep an eye on Chris. You can’t stand here and tell me that her focus is going to one hundred percent be on the match, because it won’t be. She’ll have one eye on the match and the other eye on her partner. Go ahead and tell me that I’m wrong, Spencer.

Spencer Burke: Well….

Savannah Taylor: Exactly. I’m not. Just watch in a few minutes. You’ll see my little assessment will be proven true, much like the obvious fact that at the end of the night, myself and Izzy will, ONCE AGAIN, have our hands raised in victory.

Spencer Burke: Fair enough. Let me shift gears a bit. In what has become something of an ongoing thing, you’ve once again targeted Mr. Battle Hardened himself, Chris Bond. Now he has emerged and responded to you in what some would call a very flippant manner. He failed to even recall your name and insinuate that you would be better suited to lace his boots.

Any trace of amusement was immediately wiped from Savannah’s face the minute Spencer mentioned Chris Bond. She presses her tongue on the inside of her cheek and waits a second before responding.

Savannah Taylor: Why am I not the least bit surprised that he came out and said that, Spencer? He could have said anything else at ANY OTHER TIME and it might have been okay. But the fact that he delayed me and delayed these people from saying anything is what grates on my nerves. I could go on about how these people ate up what he hurled at me. I could go on about how the only reason why he even responded was to save face. But I’m going to save that for another time and place. I instead want to issue a little declaration to Mister Bond.

She turns so she is facing the camera dead on.

Savannah Taylor: I’m tired of playing these little games, Chris. I’m tired of the blatant lack of respect that you showed me the last time you decided to grace the FGA cameras with your presence. So here is what I propose. In two weeks time, why don’t you and I settle things in the ring? Why don’t you and I do this at Grapple Kingdom? No more running, no more hiding underneath your girlfriend’s skirt like the bitch that you are. It’s time to put up or shut up. Only this time, don’t make me wait for a response.

With that she turns from both the camera and Spencer and heads back into her locker room as the scene switches out to ringside.

Johnny Karma vs. Sadie San Francisco

The lights in the arena fade to a rose color as the familiar sound of smooth jazz echoes throughout the building. “Young Nation” hits the PA system and boos resonate among the audience. Sadie San Francisco steps out onto the stage, a cold expression hidden behind heavily-tinted aviators. She walks down the ramp, not paying much attention to the jeers or catcalls on either side of her. She pauses in front of the ring, glancing up at it before calmly walking around toward the side which the hard-camera faces.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from The West Side! Weighing in at 128 pounds! She is "The Pope" SAAADIEEEE SAAAAAN FRAAAAANCISSSSSCOOOO!!!

Sadie places a hand on the bottom rope before turning, looking over her shoulder toward the audience. With one finger, she lowers her sunglasses for just a moment to glimpse out at the audience before pushing them back into place and swiftly pulling herself into the ring beneath the bottom rope and right back up to her feet. Sadie calmly removes her sunglasses, handing them off to the referee, slowly walking the ropes as her music begins to fade out.

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Johnny Karma, to the Frontier Wrestling Arts fanbase - at which point he walks out onto the ramp before coming to a halt and uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the fans, pausing to hold his arm in the air for a couple of seconds to signal his arrival

As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring

As the pair reach ringside, Cherry quickly climbs onto the ring apron and sits on the middle rope to hold it open, as Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face His audience and slowly raising an arm before raising his index finger to let everyone know that He is #1, before he steps through the ropes into His ring.

Once inside His ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and holds his arms out wide to tell the crowd he's set foot in His ring once again

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Queens, new York! Weighing in at 233 pounds. JOOOOOOHNNYYYYY KAAAAAAARMAAAA!!!

Once inside His ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and holds his arms out wide to tell the crowd he's set foot in His ring once again

Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and climbs onto the opposite turnbuckle to salute His followers

Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring once again uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the crowd before raising his arm high above his head with those two fingers still extended

The bell sounds as Karma and SFS go to lock up. After jockeying for position, SFS gains the upperhand after a knee to the midsection. She then places Karma in a side headlock before punching him between the eyes, sending Karma over towards the ropes. SFS then comes up from behind and chokes Karma across the top rope. The ref quickly gives Sadie until the count of five to break the hold.

Kris Cruise: As we get this match underway, I wanna welcome Brian Stryker to our commentary table. Brian, you've now faced Sadie twice at this point in FGA and you two seem to have another match coming up. What are your thoughts on Sadie on a whole?

Brian Stryker: She's a talented wrestler there's no doubt about that. The problem is that attitude and mouth of hers.

Stephy Auger: That attitude beat you in your first match just in case you forgot.

Brian Stryker: And I beat her last week. What's your point?

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

SFS reluctantly breaks the hold. She then turns Karma around and lights up his chest with a set of knife edge chops. After taking Karma by the wrist, SFS goes for an irish whip into the far ropes. But Karma reverses, sending SFS into the ropes. When SFS returns, Karma throws out a running clothesline. But SFS ducks and runs into the ropes. When SFS comes back, Karma throws out a back elbow. But again, SFS ducks and runs into the ropes. When SFS returns, Karma knocks her down with a running high knee to the face. He then bounces into the ropes and comes back before delivering a jumping knee drop. He makes the cover.

Sadie kicks out.

Karma brings Sadie back to her feet and applies an arm wrench. But Sadie is quick to reach over with her free arm and deliver a punch to the throat. She then quickly takes Karma by the wrist and delivers an arm wrench of her own. After Karma refuses to quit, Sadie delivers another arm wrench. Karma can be seen cringing in pain as Sadie transitions into a top wristlock. The ref continues to check in with Karma and asks if he wants to give up. But Karma refuses. He then slowly takes control and applies a top wristlock of his own. But the move doesn’t stay applied for long as Sadie break it up with a kick to the midsection.

Sadie brings Karma down with a snapmare before delivering a hard kick to the spine. She takes a few steps back before running forward and blasting Karma in the spine with another stiff kick. The thud from the kick echoes throughout the venue. After Karma slowly turns over onto his stomach, Sadie gets down and applies a camel clutch with a knee to the back. The ref gets down and asks Karma if he wants to give up. When Karma refuses, Sadie pulls back to apply even more pressure.

Stephy Auger: That's what awaits your Brian. How much does that scare you?

Brian Stryker: On a scale of 1 to 10? 1.

Cherry Baum can be seen slapping the apron as she tries to will Karma on. After refusing to quit again, Karma begins to battle back to his feet. Sadie then slips her knee of his back while still keeping her hands locked underneath his chin. That is, until Karma nails her with four elbows to the midsection. Once the hold is broken, Karma takes off into the ropes. But before he can even come back, Sadie lunges over and connects with a running high knee. After Karma crumbles to the canvas, Sadie drops down and makes the cover.

Sadie turns Karma over and presses down on his neck, choking him across the bottom rope.

Sadie lets go. She then returns to her feet, stands on the back of Karma’s neck and pulls up on the middle rope.

Kris Cruise: Sadie needs to be careful here. A DQ here could set her back.

Stephy Auger: Please. Sadie knows the rules and how to bend them to her will. She was trained by Evan Envi. She learned from the best!

Sadie steps off. She reaches down, brings Karma back to his feet and connects with another blustering chop. She then takes Karma and whips him into the corner. Sadie charges into the corner, but Karma knocks her back with a back elbow. Sadie then charges back into the corner. This time, Karma knocks her back with a boot to the face. Sadie then runs back into the corner. This time, Karma ducks and dumps her over the top rope…

After landing safely on the floor, Sadie quickly reaches back in and yanks Karma down to the canvas. She then slips back into the ring before hoisting herself up onto the middle ropes. While Karma gets up on his knee, Sadie jumps off and flattens him with a diving knee drop. She then pushes Karma over and makes the cover.

SStephy Auger: Ugh, can he just lay down so we can bask in Sadie's greatness?

Sadie presses Karma’s right arm down on the canvas before switching sides. She delivers two knee drops to the arm before delivering a headstand into a falling knee drop. Sadie then presses Karma’s left arm down while she makes the lateral press.

Karma winces as he gets his left shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: That kick out seemed to hurt Karma a bit. His shoulder has taken alot of abuse this match.

Brian Stryker: This is when things get dangerous. Every kick out from this point on is gonna take more and more energy with that shoulder

Stephy Auger: Aw poor little baby. Does he want his bottle?

Sadie brings Karma back to his feet and delivers a shoulder breaker. The move causes Karma to stumble over towards the ropes. Sadie goes to attack from behind. But Karma turns and begins knocking her back with a series of knife edge chops. He then takes Sadie and whips her into the ropes. When Sadie returns, Karma goes for a back body drop. But Sadie stops and kicks him in the right shoulder, standing him upright. While Karma clutches his right arm, Sadie turns and runs back into the ropes. When Sadie returns, Karma uses his left arm to knock her down with an NYC Uppercut. Sadie gets back to her feet, but she gets knocked back down to the canvas with another NYC Uppercut. Once Sadie gets back up, Karma rattles off three snapping jabs before knocking her down with a right hook. He drops down and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Sadie now kicking out herself. Those jabs had to have knocked a few screws loose.

Brian Stryker: I have a feeling they weren't exactly tightened to begin with.

Stephy Auger: Shut up you two idiots!

Karma picks up Sadie and whips her into the ropes. When Sadie returns, he throws her down with a snap scoop powerslam. He hooks the leg.

Stephy Auger: That's what awaits you Stryker. That's your fate!

Brian Stryker: It's a good move and effective. But it's gonna take more than that to keep me down for a 3 count.

Sadie picks up Karma, places him in a front facelock and delivers sharp elbows to the back of the neck. After a knee to the midsection keeps Karma doubled over, Sadie takes off into the ropes. When she returns, she leaps up and drives Karma down with a Fameasser. She makes the cover.

Sadie picks up Karma and sends him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Sadie brings him down with a hurricanrana, turns over onto her back and locks on a Triangle Choke.

Kris Cruise: Triangle Choke! If Sadie can lock this in, Karma will be in trouble.

Brian Stryker: That choke is so effective cause it not only puts the pressure on your throat but cuts blood from the brain. Very easy to lose conscious.

Stephy Auger: I wish you would lose conscious so I don't have to hear you try and do my job.

Brian Stryker: Well someone has to do it.

Karma can be seen squirming around as Sadie fully locks it in. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. When Karma refuses, Sadie pulls down on the back of his head.

Kris Cruise: Alot of fight from Karma trying to get out but Sadie has that hold locked tighter than Fort Knox!

Sadie can be seen fighting for the submission while Karma does his best to fight out of it.

Stephy Auger: Just tape out Karma, we all wanna see you tap like a bitch!

Cherry tries to get the crowd behind Karma by slapping the canvas. The crowd then begins to time their stops in unison with the slaps.

Kris Cruise: Cherry doing her best to will Karma to be able to break this hold.

Stephy Auger: As futile as thinking Santa Clause is real.

Sadie strains as she’s fighting with all her might for the submission. The ref asks Karma if he wants to give up. But Karma doesn’t respond as he looks like he’s beginning to fade.

Kris Cruise: Things not looking good as Karma might be out.

Brian Stryker: You can only take so much pain and blood constriction.

The ref checks in with Karma. But again, no answer. So the ref goes and raises Karma’s arm before letting go. It starts to fall… then stops.

Kris Cruise: Karma is still in the game!

Stephy Auger: WHY GOD WHY!?

Karma slowly gets up one foot, then the other. After grabbing a hold of Sadie, Karma strains as he slowly lifts her up in the air… then slams her down on the canvas with a powerbomb. He then drapes his shoulder across her.

Kris Cruise: Oh man, this crowd thought Karma managed to get that but Sadie got the shoulder up just in time.

Stephy Auger: See? She's so smart! Much smarter than the old fart sitting with us.

Karma picks up Sadie, whips her into the corner and follows up with an NYC Uppercut. After Sadie slumps down in the corner, Karma heads back towards the center of the ring. He turns around and runs back into the corner. But Sadie pulls herself up and knocks him down with Palo Alto (running corkscrew roundhouse knee strike). She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! At the last possible moment, Karma gets the shoulder up! Sadie can't believe it!

Stephy Auger: It was a slow count! I bet you Karma promised the ref a night with Cherry if he helped him out!

Brian Stryker: Do you actually hear yourself speak or is it just white noise at this point?

Sadie picks up Karma and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Sadie into the ropes. When Sadie returns, Karma goes for a back body drop. But Sadie slips down from behind. After hooking one of his arms, Sadie goes to wrap her arm around his neck for the crossface chickenwing. But Karma elbows her in the face. After performing a standing switch, Karma takes her from behind, runs, hops over the top rope and brings her down with Macho Karma. While Sadie stumbles back, Karma climbs up onto the apron, scales up to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and knocks her down with a diving double axhandle smash. He makes the cover.

Karma picks up Sadie, turns and brings her down with the Bum Trip (shoulder neckbreaker). After heading out onto the apron and scaling to the top turnbuckle, Karma leaps off and connects with From The Stars Above (flying elbow drop).

Kris Cruise: Elbow drop from the top rope. Driving that point right into the heart of Sadie.

Brian Stryker: Thing of beauty that was.

Karma stands in the corner and waves up Sadie. Once Sadie finally returns to her feet and turns around, Karma knocks her down with Check Your Chiclets (superkick). He then picks up Sadie, lifts her up and plants her with Dazed Confused And All Messed Up (jumping piledriver). He makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, JOHNNY KARMA!

Kris Cruise: What a victory for Johnny Karma! Sadie threw everything she had at him but he managed to find a way to pull a victory off.

Brian Stryker: No doubt. Sadie gave it all but came up short. Which, in this business happens but you gotta pick yourself up and learn from it. And I have no doubt Sadie will learn from this match.

Stephy Auger: You sound like a motivational speaker but only worse. Please just stop talking.

Just then, Evan Envi comes out of nowhere and lays out Stryker from behind.

Kris Cruise: What the…??

Stephy Auger: And and you shall receive!

As Karma gets back to his feet the referee raises his hand in victory - only for Envi to come out of nowhere to blindside Karma, knocking him to the canvas

Kris Cruise:... and now he’s going after Karma!

Evan seizes the opportunity to put the boots to Karma as he lays on the canvas, and when he’s satisfied that Karma won’t be getting up he attends to Sadie, helping her to her feet as the two looks down at Karma on the mat and come to the same conclusion. Sadie directs traffic, telling Envi to pull Karma up. He shoves Karma toward Sadie, who blasts him with a corkscrew roundhouse knee strike-- the Palo Alto! The audience groans as Karma hits the mat! Pushing her hair out of her face, revealing the scowl, Sadie pushes herself up and begins stomping Karma while Envi joins in, resuming the same to a deep chorus of boos!

With the members of Camp Envi attacking a defenceless Karma as Cherry can do little but watch, it looks hopeless for Karma - until Noelle Smith bursts through the curtain and rushes down the ramp as she is running she tosses her jacket on the ramp to free her range of movement, and she shouts something at Sadie and Evan that has some of the close fans react with shock.

kris Cruise: Noelle’s coming to make the save!

...yet before Noelle can make it to the ring, from out of nowhere Izzy Anders storms into the ring

When she hits the ring, she is on fire, attacking both Camp Envi members with reckless abandon. The crowd cheers, albeit they find confusion in the Mindkilla’s actions. She cracks them both with punches and kicks, throwing Sadie over the top rope. Evan Envi turns around, almost catching a Capetown Sunset, but manages to evade it by hitting the deck. He crawls underneath the ring ropes, panting in slight nervousness. A smirk dawns on his face when he realizes that he was safe.

Izzy stands tall for a moment, before taking a look at Noelle. She mouths that she could not do much and she should stay away. Noelle arches an eyebrow at Izzy, but politely lets her have the moment. Camp Envi looks at Izzy, who only gives them glares. Sadie tells Evan that they should just back off and worry about it later. Evan, with his smirk ever present, decides to listen and head off, mouthing insults at the Mindkilla as he does.

Having cleared Camp Envi out of the ring, Izzy stands over the fallen Karma and waits for just a moment, causing a frisson in the arena’s atmosphere as they wonder what she’s going to do next - but instead she offers a hand to Karma

Kris Cruise: What is this!? Why is Izzy offer to help Karma up? Why did she even come out here to help him in the first place?

Stephy Auger: I’m just as confused as you are.

Rather than take the hand, Karma looks at Izzy with the look of someone who has no idea what is going on, and in that moment Cherry slides into the ring to get between Karma and Izzy, clearly saying something to Karma to snap him out of the confusion that’s filling his head at this moment

Unsure of what the hell is happening, Karma and Cherry both leave the ring and head towards the ramp, looking back towards the ring

Izzy gives a bow before asking for a microphone. She gets one and only says one statement.

Izzy Anders: You don’t need to thank me. This was to prove a point. I need you to realize something. If I hadn’t come out here, Noelle would gotten involved. What would happen if she got hurt, huh? Sadie and Evan would have kicked both of your asses. No one would help you. You would have just as helpless as you’ve been for the past eon. Think about that for a minute. I’ll see you later.

Izzy drops the microphone before exiting through the crowd. Karma and Cherry stand quiet, expressionless before heading to the back.

[ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

[FGA Office]

The camera fades into the backstage area where Status Quo wrestlers Cordy Stevenson and Dan Herrera are standing. The crowd roars with cheers as two seem to already be deep into a conversation before the camera was able to catch up with them.

Cordelia Stevenson: I don’t like it Dan. Why… Why… WHY did they have to involve him in the damn match at all? All it does is give Zero an out. You already know he’s going to cry shenanigans if he loses. And God forbid if Chandler actually does try to screw him over…

Her voice trails off and she sighs in frustration.

Cordelia Stevenson: It’s not cool. At all.

Dan Herrera: No, really… I do get it Cordy. But I think you’re thinking about things from the opposite side of what the reality will be.

Dan pounds his fist into his palm to try to drive his point home.

Dan Herrera: I don’t think it’s about just Zero. I think it’s about that unified title. And you gotta watch your back because he’s going to do whatever he can to ensure that the deck could potentially be stacked in his favor.

Cordelia Stevenson: You don’t think I know that? Zero is the Moby Dick to Chandler’s Captain Abraham. You don’t think it’s run through my mind that he’d love nothing more than to find the retribution that he couldn’t find at Retribution? You don’t think I know he’d love nothing more than to take the Unified title from Zero? I know how his mind works Dan. I’ve studied the man, you don’t have to tell me that. I don’t trust anyone when it comes to this…

She holds up her FGA World title, and then pauses after she catches the implication of her words.

Cordelia Stevenson: No offense.

Status Quo’s conversation is interrupted by a series of knocks on the door. The camera pans to the left to reveal who is aet the doorframe. It’s Chandler Scott, who ismet with a roar of cheers and catcalls from the crowd.

Chandler Scott: I hope I’m not interrupting anything important.

Chandler glances over and sees Dan standing next to Cordy.

Chandler Scott: Oh, it was just Dan Herrera talking? Well now I know I wasn’t interrupting anything important.

Chandler smiles as he makes his way over to Cordy.

Chandler Scott: What’s going on, Cordy?

Chandler does a double take as he sees Dan staring a hole through him.

Chandler Scott: ...ummmm, I’m here to see the champ. So about you make yourself useful and go fetch me and Cordy some of that yogurt?

Chandler points his thumb over his shoulder, signaling for Dan to take a hike. Dan tilts his head at Chandler and tongues at his cheek for a moment.

Dan Herrera: You must be an idiot if you think you can talk to me like that.

When Dan takes a step forward, Chandler lets out an “Ooooooo” with the spoiler finger taunt. But Cordy puts a hand up, stopping him by the chest.

Cordelia Stevenson: Aye. Take it easy, Dan. I’ve got this. Let me hear what the Golden Boy has to say.

Her words come out with a bit of frigidness to them.

Dan Herrera: You’re right, you got it Cordy. Call if you need me.

(Dan nods at her. She pats him on the back as Dan stares Chandler up and down for a second before he turns around swiping a water bottle off a nearby table as it splashes against the wall. Chandler waves at Dan while he makes his way out her locker room door and down a hallway heading towards his locker room. Cordy stands there, her eyes narrow as she glares at her long time rival. Given, things had become amicable between them in recent months, but Cordelia knew all of that could go out the window at any given moment, especially considering what was at stake.)

Cordelia Stevenson: You’re here to talk, right?

She nods, motioning for him to go ahead and say his piece.

Cordelia Stevenson: Talk.

Chandler goes to speak, but he notices that something is off with Cordy. He looks behind him towards the doorway, then turns back at Cordy.

Chandler Scott: I know me and Dan don’t get along. But he’s been gone for almost half a minute now. So why am I feeling like there’s still tension in the air?

Cordelia Stevenson: Because there is.

She confirms without much hesitation.

Cordelia Stevenson: Look, I don’t have a problem with you Chandler, but I do have a problem with you being involved in my match. So tell me, why are you there?

She straightens up a bit as she folds her arms across her chest awaiting his response.

Chandler Scott: Why am I there? I'm there because they asked me to be there. I'm there because they didn't want a repeat of what happened during your Tag Title Match from a month ago. But you already know this, since I said this to both you and Zero two weeks ago. So why don't you tell me what your real problem is? I caught the tail end of your little Tea Time convo with Dan. I know he thinks I'm this horrible person. But we know his judgement is biased and flawed. But do you feel the same? You think I'm up to no good? After everything we've been through, you can be straight with me.

She shakes her head.

Cordelia Stevenson: Just to rewind a bit, I recall a certain someone saying they interjected their self into the board’s conversation. Now I understand them not wanting a repeat of the tag match, believe me, I don’t either. But that still doesn’t explain why you were so eager to jump in and volunteer. So I ask you again, why are you there? Because quite frankly I don’t know what to think nor do I know what your intentions are, but I am trying to understand. And yes, Dan does think I should be wary of you, but being in this position, you’ve got to be wary of everyone. Of course, you know that.

Chandler shakes his head.

Chandler Scott: Yeah, someone did interject themselves into that meeting. And I had already said who that person was.

Of course, if you had actually listened, you would know that.

As far as why I'm so eager? Heh. Did you give “Mr. New Leaf” this much grief, or is it just me?

Chandler shakes his head.

Chandler Scott: I don't like the way you're insinuating that I've got some type of ulterior motive here. Do I want you to win? Of course I do. Do I want to see him lose? Abso-freaking-lutely. But it's just like I said at the start of the show. I'm just there to make the count. If you walk out of that match the undisputed champion, it's because of what you did, not me. And if God forbid that son of a bitch walks out as the undisputed champion, it's because he beat you, not anything I did.

I've been in that ring with you before Cordy. We've been through wars in that ring. I know how badly you wanted that title. You've pushed me harder than damn near anyone I've ever been in the ring with. And I know that you want to be known as the undisputed champion just as badly. I know how much this match means to you. For as long as you climbed to finally get that belt, only to have that bastard walk back in here and still be recognized as a champion after the stunt he pulled? It's a slap in the face. We all know it. But you have the chance to shut him and every other doubter up by beating him in the center of that ring. This is a huge opportunity for you and as your friend, I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that.

… but judging by the look in your eyes, you still don't believe me.

Cordy’s gaze is unwavering as she listens intently to what Chandler has to say. Reluctantly she lets out a sigh. Even she’s got to admit his argument is very compelling.

Cordelia Stevenson: I believe you…

(She grows quiet for a split second, her gaze drifting downward towards the ground. Finally she raises it back up to meet his.)

Cordelia Stevenson: But I still don’t like it.

She shrugs.

Cordelia Stevenson: But I guess that doesn’t really matter, does it? No funny stuff, Chandler. I don’t want Zero to have any excuses. You do your job and I’ll do mine, and Zero? Well, he’ll just be in for a rude awakening.

Chandler Scott: I could be thousands of miles away from that match and if he lost? He’s still find a way to pull an excuse out of his ass. And you know this. Besides, since when is his opinion the end all, be all, anyway? Be less concerned about what comes out of his mouth and be more concerned about what he throws at you inside the ring.

She slowly nods.

Cordelia Stevenson: I’ll be ready.

Her words are spoken with conviction as she straightens up.

Cordelia Stevenson: I’ll definitely be ready. Because this…

She holds up her FGA World Championship.

Cordelia Stevenson: … it isn’t going anywhere, any time soon.

(She offers a smirk with those words. There wasn’t a doubt in her mind that it was only a matter of time before Chandler was eventually nipping at her heels, but she wanted him to know that her sentiment still remained the same.)

Molly Reid & Chris Madison vs. Izzy Anders and Savannah Taylor

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see

One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

Inside me a light was turned on…

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

Then I was alive!

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

J.A. Aldridge: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 120 pounds… SAAAAVANNAAH TAAAAAAAYLOR!

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Kris Cruise: Once again, Savannah Taylor has some harsh words for Chris Bond after he brushed her off two weeks ago. But I can now confirm that those two have been scheduled for a match at Grapple Kingdom in two weeks.

Stephy Auger: The nerve of Chris Bond to talk like that to Savannah Taylor. When’s the last time he’s done anything worthwhile? When is the last time he’s done anything worthwhile?
A somber strum of a guitar echoed out throughout the arena. The lights in the arena began to dim to a haunting dark purple color. From behind the curtain, a figure comes out. She lingers in the darkness, before creeping into the spotlight. She wears a long, dark cloak; it softly breezes in the wind. When "One More Soul to the Call" by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn begins to pick up, she unfastens the coat. She takes it off in a heavy flourish, the song picks up completely, transforming into a hard rock song.

Izzy ascends the turnbuckle, her eyepatch clear as day. She grabs onto it, ripping it off with a dramatic elegance. The eye under it burns brightly with a shade of red. She leaps off the turnbuckle, walking methodically to the center of the ring. There, she poses once more, enjoying the haunting and heavy rhythm of her own song. She looks up to the sky, smiling wickedly. She awaits the match to start with a sadistic aura radiating off her.

Kris Cruise: Izzy Anders has had a busy night. Earlier tonight, she fended off Camp Envi after they attacked Johnny Karma.

Stephy Auger: And then she left karma standing speechless once again!

Kris Cruise: Well the time for talk will soon be over as Izzy Anders and Johnny Karma have also been announced for Grapple Kingdom. At this point, it’s pretty clear that Anders is in Karma’s head. Can Karma shake it off? Can he get himself in the right mindset for that match because if he doesn’t, then that’s going to spell bad news for the Karmic Lion.

The arena's lights dim to black as the opening guitar riffs to "War Machine" by KISS begin to screech over the P.A. system. The video screen lights up with visual static noise. Suddenly in the center of the screen a black handprint begins pulsating to the beat of the drum that has began to play. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp and we see Chris Madison standing with his head bowed under a black towel, wearing an official FGA licensed t-shirt that says, "Always Ready For War," across the chest. He nods his head to the music and as the chorus breaks he rips the towel from his head and tosses it into the live audience, starting his way down the ramp toward, the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents! Introducing first, coming to the ring from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 220 pounds... "Mayhem" CHRIS MAAADDIISSOONN!!!

Madison makes it to the base of the steps and places one foot down before scoping out the fans directly behind him by peering over his shoulder. He smirks as the live audience sings along to the entrance music and then marches up the steps and climbs through the ropes. He immediately leaps up onto the middle rope and faces out towards the crowd. He brings his fists up to his face and punches his jaw with each hand before shooting his arms out horizontally with his hands wide open, welcoming whatever challenge is coming his way. Madison hops backwards, bouncing off of his feet and turns towards the center of the ring, snarling and ready to go…

The lights in the arena dim before the sound of Metro Station's Shake It begins to play over the loudspeakers in the arena. The entrance ramp lights up as Molly Reid runs out, bouncing along to the music with a grin on her face. The Pride Championship is wrapped around her waist as she slaps it a few times before bouncing down the entrance ramp, high-fiving fans on either side as she approaches the ring. When she gets close to the ring she bounds up the steps and stands on the apron. She turns and faces the crowd and points to her belt as the crowd cheers along with her.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California! Weighing in at 122 pounds. She is the reigning FGA Pride Champion, MOLLYYYYY REEEEEEID!!!

Molly turns around and vaults into the ring and moves towards the opposite corner. She removes her Pride Championship as she climbs onto the turnbuckle and holds it high in the air as the crowd continues to cheer. After doing this on the other turnbuckles, Molly hops off and hands her belt to the referee before retreating to her corner, her grin being replaced with a focused stare.

Kris Cruise: Both champion and challenger are teaming up tonight. But can they coexist? After what we saw backstage earlier on, it looks like Reid and Madison are on the same page.

Stephy Auger: Are they though? Are we just going to stand around and pretend that there isn’t any tension between Madison and Molly? Is Molly going to forget that she got called out for her blatant cheating against Dom Harter?

Kris Cruise: I think you’re looking for issues that aren’t there.

Stephy Auger: I think you’re blatantly overlooking issues that are there. Something is going to come to a ahead tonight between these two, Cruise. I can feel it!

The bell sounds as Anders and Reid start things off for their respective teams.

Kris Cruise: There’s definitely no love lost between these two.

Stephy Auger: No there isn’t. Though I can’t blame Izzy. I’d want to punch Molly in the face too after all the times she’s gone out of her way to annoy Izzy.

Anders and Reid size each other up from opposing corners. Once the ref gives them the cut to fight, the two grapplers begin the circle the ring. While Reid circles the ring, she begins to clap. The crowd quickly takes a cue from the Pride Champion and joins in with the clapping. The two grapplers stop and size each other up once more. They then head towards the center of the ring. Reid goes for a lock up, but Anders steps back. She then points over at Chris Madison on the apron.

Kris Cruise: I guess Anders doesn’t want Reid afterall! She wants the number one contender!

Reid turns to Madison, then back to Anders. Reid looks at Anders and points behind her shoulder at Madison. Anders responds with a nod. Reid then turns to the crowd as she points to Madison.

Crowd: YES! YES! YES! YES! YES

Reid shrugs as she makes her way over to tag in her partner. But she’s quickly knocked down from behind by a lariat from Anders. The boos continues as Anders put the boots to Reid.

Stephy Auger: get her, Izzy!

Anders takes Reid by her right arm, straddles it and looks over at Madison. Anders taunts Madison by shaking Reid’s arm in his direction. She then follows up with an elbow drop to it. Anders gets back to her feet, pins Reid’s arm to the canvas with her hands and drops repeated knees across it. She then yanks Reid over and makes the cover.

Reid kicks out.

Kris Cruise: There were already concerns about how well Molly’s shoulder would hold up.

Stephy Auger: If Izzy gets her way, Molly won’t have any use of that arm for a long while.

The crowd boos as Anders takes pleasure in wrenching Reid’s arm. But the boos turn to cheers when Reid is able to reverse into an arm wrench of her own. The ref goes over and asks Anders if she wants to give up. But she refuses. She then rolls forward, turns over on her knees, flips over with a handdstand and sends Reid flipping down to the canvas with an arm wrench. Anders then goes to deliver a stomp to Reid’s face. But Reid wisely rolls away and over towards the ropes.

After getting back to her feet, Reid begins shaking off the arm as she circles the ring. Once she’s ready, she marches over towards Anders and motions for a lock up. But before they can even engage in a collar & elbow tie-up, Anders slaps the taste out of Reid’s mouth.

Stephy Auger: That was long overdue.

Andrs quickly doubles Reid over with a kick to the midsection before applying a side headlock. Anders wrenches on the headlock, which causes Reid to let out a groan. But instead of throwing in the towel, Reid pushes Anders off of her and into the ropes. When Anders returns, she knocks Reid down with a running shoulder block to the hurt arm. She then drops down and makes the cover.

Anders picks up Reid, takes her by the arm. Reid then staggers across the ring and into the ropes after Anders gives her an armbreaker across the shoulder. Anders comes up from behind, grabs Reid by the hair and moves her into the Heroes Never Die corner. Reid tries to escape, but Savannah Taylor holds her back by the arm. Reid then gets doubled over with a kick to the midsection from Anders. After rocking Reid with a European Uppercut, Anders tags Taylor in.

The crowd boos as Taylor gets in and unleashes a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. She then brings Reid from out of the corner before whipping her into the far ropes. When Reid returns, Taylor throws out a clothesline. But Reid ducks and runs into the ropes. When Reid comes back, she knocks Taylor down with a dropkick. As soon as Taylor gets back up, Reid runs over and knocks her down with another dropkick. When Taylor gets back to her feet, Reid grabs her and whips her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, the crowd cheers when Reid knocks her down with a spinning heel kick. She makes the cover.

Reid picks up Taylor, wrenches her arm, drags her over towards the corner and tags in Chris Madison.

The crowd cheers as Madison gets in the ring and doubles Taylor over with a hook to the body. He then sends Taylor stumbling back into the ropes with a forearm shiver. As Madison approaches, Taylor throws out a kick to the midsection. She then connects with another kick to the midsection before taking Madison and switching places with him. While Madison’s up against the ropes, Taylor unleashes another series of knife edge chops. She then takes Madison and goes for an irish whip. But Madison uses his free arm to hang onto the ropes. Taylor then tries to yank him off the ropes for an irish whip. But again, Madison hangs onto the ropes. So Taylor doubles him over with a kick to the midsection. She then takes Madison and whips him into the far ropes. When Taylor returns, the crowd boos when she tackles him down with a Lou Thesz Press before delivering a series of rights and lefts to the face. She then stands up and poses over Madison to a wave of boos from the crowd.

Stephy Auger: Savannah Taylor just showed why she should be the number one contender, not Chris Madison!

Kris Cruise: Well if you ask her partner Izzy Anders, she thinks she’s more deserving than Madison, too.

Taylor picks up Madison and rocks him with a right hand before sending him into the ropes with an irish whip. When Madison returns, Taylor throws out a back elbow to the head. But Madison ducks and runs into the ropes. When Madison returns, the crowd cheers when he returns the favor and tackles her down with a Lou Thesz Press. He then mounts himself on top of Taylor and rains down mounted 12-to-6 elbows to the face. After the barrage of blows, he transitions into a lateral press.

Kris Cruise: Madison giving Taylor a taste of his own medicine there. I’m sure Chris Bond is somewhere enjoying that.

Madison picks up Taylor, moves her into the corner and delivers two knees strikes to the chest before delivering a clinching jumping knee. After Taylor crumbles from out of the corner, Madison drops down and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Madison wisely stays on top of Taylor. But it only gets two. Not only is Molly Reid a target because she’s a champion, but Chris Madison is the envy of many as he’s got that coveted number one contender spot. There’s a lot of grapplers in the Pride Division that want to be where he’s at, including his two opponents here tonight.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, and they’re hell bent on proving why they should be the top contender instead of him.

Madison picks Taylor back up and moves her into the corner. After a hard right hook to the body, he takes Taylor and whips her into the opposite corner. Once Taylor crashes into the corner, Madison runs across the ring. But as he heads into the corner, he gets nailed with a back elbow to the face. After shaking off the blow, Madison runs back into the corner. But again, Taylor connects with a back elbow. While Madison stumbles back, Taylor slingshots out onto the apron, springboards to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks him down with a missile dropkick. The crowd boos as she crawls over and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Nice follow up there by Taylor, but it only gets two. Both of these unlikely teams have been gelling well here tonight. I still don’t get this Izzy/Savannah pairing. But then again, there’s a lot of things Izzy’s done lately that have left me scratching my head.

Taylor picks up Madison and heads into the Heroes Never Die corner. While Anders has her foot draped across the top rope, Taylor takes Madison and slams him face-first against the sole of Anders’ boot. After Anders unhooks her leg across the rope, she gets tagged back in. While Taylor holds back Madison’s arms, Anders nails him with a barrage of stiff European Uppercuts. The Mindkilla then takes several steps back towards the center of the ring. She then lines up her targeting before running towards the corner. Anders then hurls herself at Madison and connects with a running European Uppercut. Madison staggers from out of the corner and collapses to the canvas before Anders makes the cover.

Anders picks up Madison and moves him back into the corner. She connects with another European Uppercut before throwing out a right hand. But Madison blocks and counters with a punch of his own. Anders then throws out another right hand. But again, Madison blocks and counters with a punch of his own. He nails Taylor with a back elbow before nailing Anders with another punch. Taylor gets hit with another back elbow, followed by another punch to Anders. Madison then fires off another punch… and another… and another. Each punch knocks Anders back further and further away from the corner.

Kris Cruise: Look at Mayhem Madison go! He’s punching his way out of that corner!

While Anders is dazed, Madison turns, the crowd cheers when he heads back towards the corner and knocks Taylor off the apron with a running yakuza kick. When he turns around, Anders charges back into the corner. But Madison knocks her back with a back elbow. As Madison heads out of the corner, Anders runs back towards him to attack. But Madison leans forward and lifts Anders up across his shoulders. Anders reaches out for the tag as Taylor climbs back up onto the apron. Taylor can be seen jumping up and trying to reach over the top rope to make the tag. But Madison takes Anders, walks towards the center of the ring and sends her crashing to the canvas with an Alabama Slam. He then drops down and makes the cover.

While Taylor heads out onto the apron, Madison goes over and tags Reid back in. Both Champion and Challenger then take Anders and whip her into the ropes. When Anders returns, the crowd cheers when Reid and Madison send her crashing to the canvas with a double back body drop. Reid then drops down and makes the cover.

Anders then charges across the ring, hurls herself at Reid and connects with a running European Uppercut. She then brings Reid from out of the corner, snapmares her over and points to a random fan in the crowd before taking off into the far ropes. When Anders returns, she knocks Reid down with A Gift for You (penalty kick). She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Clearly Chris Madison is more honorable than you are. They’re fight is in two weeks, not tonight. Tonight, he’s Molly Reid’s partner and he’s going to have her back, regardless of what you or anyone else think.

While Madison heads back out onto the apron, Anders picks up Reid, brings her into the corner and tags Taylor back in. Once Taylor gets in, she grabs Reid by the hair and throws her down with a mat slam. Taylor reaches down, pulls Reid back up by the hair and throws her against the turnbuckles. After a series of boots to the midsection, Taylor brings a hunched over Reid from out of the corner before bringing her down with The Gamble (corkscrew neckbreaker). She makes the cover.

Taylor reaches down and grabs Reid by the hair. As she slowly pulls Reid up off the canvas, Reid begins to nail her right rights and lefts to the midsection. But the comeback is stopped after another mat slam. She then picks up Reid and goes for an irish whip. But Reid reverses, sending Taylor into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Reid throws out a spinning backfist. But Taylor ducks. When Reid turns around, Taylor knocks her down with the Desert Rose (spinning backfist). She drops down and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: There you go, Savannah! Show her how that backsfist is really done!

The crowd gapss, then cheers when Reid gets her shoulder up.

Taylor picks up Reid and lifts her up for a brainbuster. But Reid blocks by hooking one of her legs around Taylor’s. She then tries to muscle up the Pride Champion for another brainbuster. But again, Reid blocks. This time, by dropping down to a knee. After Taylor yanks Reid back to her feet, she lifts the champ up for a brainbuster. But Reid’s able to slip down from behind. She then spins Taylor around before connecting with a spinning back elbow. While Taylor is rocked, Reid connects with a shoot kick to the leg, followed by a shoot kick to the torso. She delivers another shoot kick to the leg, followed by a shoot kick to the torso. Reid then delivers a leg feint head kick, followed by a roundhouse kick that knocks Taylor down. She makes the cover.

The crowd sighs, then boos when gets her shoulder up.

Reid picks up Taylor and goes for an irish whip. But Taylor reverses, sending Reid into the ropes. When Reid returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when she knocks Taylor down with a Superman Punch. Reid then rolls forward, dives over into the corner and tags Madison

Kris Cruise: Madison’s back in!

As soon as Madison gets in, Anders rushes in to attack. But she’s quickly knocked down by a bicycle knee strike. He then picks up Anders, grabs her from behind and throws her down with a sleeper suplex.

Stephy Auger: Oh no!

Madison gets back to his feet. When he turns around, the crowd boos when Taylor flattens him with a yakuza kick. She drops down and makes the cover.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Madison gets his shoulder up.

Stephy Auger: How was that not three!?

Taylor picks up Madison and whips him into the ropes. When he returns, she throws out another yakuza kick. But this time, Madison catches her foot. He then turns Taylor’s leg away from him, grabs her from behind and knocks her down with Comatosed (ripcord rolling elbow). The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: I don’t know, but I’m thankful that it wasn’t!

Madison picks up Taylor, grabs her from behind and throws out Comatosed for the second time. But this time, Taylor ducks the elbow, grabs Madison from behind and brings him down with a forward russian legsweep.

Stephy Auger: Blonde Ambition! It’s over!

Stephy Auger: This match is going to give me a heart attack, Cruise!

Taylor picks up Madison and whips him hard into the turnbuckle. As Madison staggers out, Taylor runs into an adjacent set of ropes. When she comes back, she grabs Madison and brings him down with a bulldog. As Madison turns over onto his back, Taylor steps out onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle. From there, she leaps off and goes for a Frog Splash.

Stephy Auger: This is it, Cruise! It’s about to be ove-

Kris Cruise: NO! Madison got his knees up!

After bouncing off of Madison’s knees, Taylor turns over and curls up in pain. While both grapplers are down, the ref starts his count.

Madison slowly returns to his feet. He makes his way over into the corner to tag out to Reid. But Taylor pulls him by the back of his MMA shorts. She then pulls him into a waist lock. But Madison is able to free himself able three elbows to the face. After performing a standing switch, the crowd cheers when Madison lifts Taylor up onto his shoulders for the End Game (electric chair dropped into a bridging german suplex). But Anders is able to chop block Madison from behind, bringing both him and Taylor down.

Kris Cruise: Izzy Anders with a huge save! If Madison had hit the End Game, that would have been the end of this match. I can guarantee you that!

Stephy Auger: Well thank God she did!

Anders returns to her feet, she she’s quickly met with a barrage of elbow strikes from Reid. Each elbow knocks Anders back closer and closer to the ropes. While Anders is dazed, Reid turns and runs into the far ropes. When Reid returns, the crowd cheers as she hurls herself at Anders and sends them both over the top rope and to the floor with a clothesline.

Kris Cruise: Molly Reid with a wild clothesline that sends her and Izzy to the floor!

Back in the ring, Taylor takes Madison and goes for an irish whip. But Madison reverses, sending Taylor into the ropes. When Taylor returns, the crowd cheers when Madison delivers a pop-up Codebreaker. But after delivering the move, Madison quickly clutches his knee.

Kris Cruise: Madison might be hurt here, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: Which is great news for Molly Reid! If I’m Molly, I take my Pride Championship, take a hike, and let Izzy and Savannah rip him apart.

Back on the outside, Anders knocks Reid down with a running European Uppercut. As she makes her way back down ringside, she sees Frankie Morrison slapping the canvas as he gives words of encouragement to Madison. But Morrison’s cheers are quickly stops once Anders grabbed by Anders. The crowd erupts with boos.

Kris Cruise: Woah woah woah woah woah!

Stephy Auger:

Morrison tries to pull himself away from Anders, but Anders has a vise grip on his arm. She then doubles him over with a hard knee to the gut. She then motions to knock his head off with a right hand, but Reid spins her around.

While this is going on, Taylor picks up Madison and nails him with three punches to the face. She then takes Madison and whips him into the ropes.

Back on the outside, Reid spins Anders away from Morrison and quickly throws out the Molly Kick.

But Anders ducks!

Kris Cruise: OH MY GOD!

Stephy Auger: ...

When Madison comes back, Taylor throws out a clothesline. But Madison ducks. As Madison stands back up to run into the far ropes, he stops him his tracks once he sees Reid nearly kick Morrison’s head off with the Molly Kick. But from his vantage point, he never sees Anders.

Stephy Auger: MOLLY JUST INTENTIONALLY GAVE FRANKIE MORRISON THE MOLLY KICK! SHE DID IT ON PURPOSE, CRUISE! I KNEW IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME!

Kris Cruise: What!? It was an accident!

Stephy Auger: OH PURPOSE, MADISON! SHE KICKED HIM ON PURPOSE!

Madison marches over towards the ropes with his eyes zeroed in on Reid. Reid looks down in shock at Morrison. Se then turns and sees Madison. Reid tries to explain what happened to Madison, but he’s quickly taken down by a chop block from Taylor from behind.

Kris Cruise: Good God!

Reid then tries to climb up on the apron. But Anders pulls her back down, runs and tosses her shoulder-first into the ring post.

Stephy Auger: That was her hurt shoulder, right? Yes, it was! IT WAS, CRUISE!

While Reid clutches her arm on the floor, Anders marches around ringside, grabs J.A. Aldridge and yanks him out of his chair.

Kris Cruise: Oh no! What in the hell is Izzy Anders up to now!?

Anders snatches up the chair, folds it shut and tosses it into the ring. She then goes over to the timekeeper and piefaces him down out of his seat. After snatching up that chair, she folds it shut before sliding in the ring.

Kris Cruise: What in the hell is going on in that mind of hers!?

Stephy Auger: It doesn’t look good, Cruise, I can tell you that much.

The ref goes between Anders and Taylor and demands that they get rid of the chairs. Anders looks at Taylor, then back at the ref. She smiles before cupping him by the back of his neck. She then runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor.

Anders and Taylor then stand on opposite sides of the ring with chairs in hand.

Kris Cruise: Oooooooh Noooooo...

Stephy Auger: I think I know what’s coming...

As Madison slowly gets back to a vertical back, Heroes Never Die run from both sides of him and…

*CLANG!!!*

Heroes Never Die connect with a con-chair-to, sending madison crumbling down to the canvas. The crowd erupts with boos as the two grapplers throw down the steel chairs. After the ref pulls himself back up using the edge of the apron, he motions for the bell to be rung. The timekeeper crawls over towards the bell and slowly rings it.

Kris Cruise: Goddamit! Izzy Anders and Savannah Taylor damn near caved Chris Madison’s skull in with those stereo chair shots! My God what has gotten into them!

Stephy Auger: There’s bodies all over the place!

Shots of Reid clutching her arm, Morrison knocked out on the floor, and Madison sprawled out in the ring are shown. Satisfied with what they've done, Heroes Never Die slowly exit the ring before making their way defiantly up the aisle. At the top of the ramp, Anders and Taylor raise each others are as the crowd continues to rain down boos on the duo.

Chandler Scott: Well, well, it looks like someone has been busy as of late.

Jessie Pederson: Right? I’ve been running all over the place. I was racing from locker room to locker room after the last Vertigo. I’ve had interviews lined up throughout this show.

Chandler Scott: It looks like you’re not in Carolina anymore, are you?

Jessie Pederson: Definitely not.

Chandler Scott: But hey, this is what it’s all about. This is the big time, Jess. I know you’ve been working hard since those KWI and LDFC days. Now you’re here as an in demand interviewer. I’m sure it’s tiring running back and forth and I know that not everyone is as pleasant to be around as I am. But it’s about time that someone like you starts getting the interviews. We can’t let Burke have all the fun, now can we?

Jessie Pederson: Nope! Thanks again, Chandler.

Chandler Scott: Not a problem. Now, I believe you’ve got some questions for me?

Jessie Pederson: Yes I do.

Chandler rubs his hands in anticipation.

Jessie Pederson: We all know you’ve got a big role to play at Grapple Kingdom. But before you get to the pay per view, you’ve got a big main event of your own tonight against Ricky Valero.

The crowd boos upon hearing Valero’s name.

Chandler Scott: Pretty Ricky Valero, that’s what he calls himself, right? Aw, isn’t that just cute. You know, Jess, I heard him couple of weeks ago when he came out. He did this long speech about how he was glad to be back but that this time, he was going solo. He wanted to test himself. He wanted to become an FGA World Champion and he was gonna go through whomever he had to to become Champion. So he screamed bring on Cordy Stevenson! Bring on Molly Reid! Bring on… Chandler Scott.

Well, Rick, be careful what you wish for. Because tonight, I’m gonna make you eat those words.

A roar of cheers from the crowd.

Chandler Scott: History time, ladies and gentlemen. Do you remember the last time Ricky Valero was in a main event? And no, I’m not talking about all the other places he’s in that aren’t worth mentioning. I’m talking about the last time he main evented in an FGA ring. Well I’ll tell you exactly when. It was April 30, 2016. On that night, Ricky Valero took on a piece of sh*t. You all know of said piece of sh*t as Jimmy Page. Anyways, the most notable thing about that match wasn't that Valero lost. Oh no. The most notable thing was that Valero was mere seconds away from losing much more than just a match. He was seconds away getting placed on the sidelines.

See, Page had a steel chair scissored around Valero’s neck. Page climbed up onto those middle ropes. He was seconds away from jumping off and snapping Valero’s neck like a twig until a certain someone showed up. A certain someone showed up and took the attention off of Valero onto himself. And while Page was preoccupied with that certain someone, the referees had to roll Valero out of the ring because he wasn’t able to help himself.

Do you remember who that certain someone was, Valero? Of course you don’t, because you were too busy being knocked out. But just to clue you in, Rick, that certain someone... was me.

The crowd cheers as Chandler smirks.

Chandler Scott: That’s right. You could say that I saved you that night, Rick. You’re welcome, by the way. There’s just one thing. While you might have been saved on that night, there isn’t anyone in this arena that can save you from what’s about to happen in that ring tonight.

Another round of cheers from the crowd.

Chandler Scott: I know you think that this is “gametime, baby.” I know you’ve got all your famous for nothing friends in the crowd or watching at home. And that’s cool. Because I want them all to watch very closely the difference between a wrestler like you… and a wrestler such as myself. You see, Rick... this right here? This is what a real Franchise looks like. This right here? This is the next level that you’re still desperately trying to get to. This right here? This is the man that’s gonna be standing over you at the end of the night. Because when that final bell sounds, Rick, every head will bow and every tongue will confess that…

Crowd: CHANDLER! REIGNS! SUPREME!

The crowd roars with cheers after finishes off Chandler’s catch phrase for him. The Ace of FGA smirks as he turns, looks back at Jessie and points out towards the crowd.

Chandler Scott vs. Ricky Valero

"The Game" by Motorhead blasts throughout the arena. White and pink strobe lights flash as Ricky makes his appearance and stands through a cloud of fog bouncing on his toes with a sly smirk on his face. He makes his way toward the ring intentionally ignoring the outstretched hands of front row fans along his route. He circles the ring, before reaching the far corner. Slowly he climbs up the steps and leans his back against the ropes, bouncing against them a few times with his arms wrapped over top of them before hopping into the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, from Staten Island, New York! Weighing in at 227 pounds… RICKYYYYY VAAAAAALEEEEEEROOOOOO!!!

Ricky spins around in the center of the ring with his arms extended out, absorbing the crowd's disdain. He walks towards the ropes on the far side of the ring and simply smiles. The music slowly quiets down as Ricky turns and leans against the ropes closest to the entranceway, awaiting his opponent.

Kris Cruise: Ricky Valero and Owen Gonsalves got into it earlier tonight. Security ended up pulling them apart. But there’s not gonna be anyone stopping them at Grapple Kingdom because just announced moments ago, Ricky Valero will be going one on one with owen Gonsalves.

Stephy Auger: Last month, Gonsalves said it was an honor to team with his idol. But he quickly found out the hard way why you should never meet your idols.

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Multi-colored lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott steps through the curtain with outstretched arms to a loud ovation from the crowd.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Hyannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 222 pounds… CHAAAANDLEERRRR SCOOOOOT!!!

Chandler swaggers his way down to the ring and slaps hands with the fans along the way, he rolls himself into the ring as the lights come back on. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while Chandler, flips his good back and poses with his arms stretched. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins slipping off his leather jacket and tosses it to the outside as he waits the opening bell.

Kris Cruise: Chandler Scott claims he’s going to call the match at Grapple Kingdom right down the middle. I know where you stand, Stephy. But he’s adamant that he’s going to be an impartial official.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, and I think he’s full of it. We can all see the screwjob coming a mile away. But because it’s Zero McHannon, no one cares. But I guarantee you if it was Cordy Stevenson that was about to be screwed over, you’d all be calling for his head.

The bell sounds as Scott and Valero circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Scott moves Valero over towards the ropes. But at the last second, Valero switches positions and presses Scott up against the ropes. The ref then heads over and gives both men until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both men appear to make a clean break. That is, until Valero slaps the taste out of Scott’s mouth. The crowd erupts with boos as Valero steps back with a smirk on his face.

Kris Cruise: Well that was uncalled for!

Stephy Auger: I love it, Cruise.

Scott shakes his head before making his way off the ropes. The two men circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Valero gains the advantage with a side headlock. He then performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. After keeping the hold applied, Valero spins Scott back around towards him and delivers another hard slap across the face. The crowd erupts with boos as Valero steps back with his arms spread out.

Kris Cruise: Valero just walloped Scott with another slap.

Stephy Auger: Oh man, whoever is saying they don’t like this new and improved Ricky Valero is lying to themselves. I think this is great!

Scott can be seen growing more and more frustrated as he circles the ring. The two men then size each other up before locking up. After jockeying for position, Valero ducks under, goes behind Scott and applies a waist lock. Valero keeps the hold applied before he lets go and smacks Scott upside the head.

Kris Cruise: That’s three times now, Stephy! This is a blatant lack of respect on display here from Ricky Valero.

Stephy Auger: But maybe this is all apart of his plan. He wants to get Scott so angry that he’s throwing out the gameplan and comes at Valero all wild.

Scott puts his hands on hips hips and mutters something under his breath while Valero leans back in the corner. Once Scott turns around, Valero comes out of the corner and circles the ring. The two men then inch towards each other before locking up. After jockeying for position, Scott moves Valero across the ring and against the ropes. The ref then heads over and gives both men until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both men make a clean break. Scott then motions for a punch, causing Valero to cover up. But Scott lowers his fist before playfully tapping Valero on the cheek. Cheers can be heard coming from the crowd. But the cheers quickly shift to boos when Valero responds by shoving Scott back. As Valero makes his way over to Scott, Scott walks over and shoves him right back. Valero then slaps Scott again. As Valero trash talks Scott, Scott turns back and deccks him down with a right hand. Valero gets back up, but he’s quickly knocked down by another right hand. As Valero gets back to his feet, Scott catches him in a side headlock. But Valero is quick to shove Scott off of him and into the ropes. When Scott returns, Valero knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. He then runs into the ropes. When Valero comes back, Scott turns over onto his stomach. But instead of hopping over Scott, Valero stops and delivers an elbow drop to the back. He then turns Scott over and makes the cover.

Valero picks up Scott and delivers an arm wrench. But Scott is quick to reach over and reverse into an arm wrench of his own. He then yanks Valero’s arm before delivering another arm wrench. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. But Valero refuses. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. But Scott is quick to reverse into another arm wrench before quickly transitioning into a hammerlock from behind. Valero can be seen cringing from the pain as Scott applies more pressure to the arm. But Valero doesn’t give up. Instead, he leans forward and reverses into a hammerlock of his own before transitioning into a side headlock. Scott then moves Valero back into the ropes before shoving him off into the far ropes. When Valero returns, Scott leapfrogs over him. Valero then runs into the opposite set of ropes. When Valero returns, Scott brings him down with a deep arm drag. Valero gets back up, but Scott throws him back down with another deep armdrag before transitioning into an armbar.

Kris Cruise: Valero might have gotten in Scott’s head with those slaps to the face. But Scott now finds himself in control of this match as he applied an armbar.

The ref gets down and asks Valero if he wants to give up. But Valero refuses. He then lies to the ref, accusing Scott of pulling on his hair. After Valero turns over and battles back to his feet, he rolls forward, leans back, kips up, cartwheels over, slaps Scott’s hands from off of him and follows up with a dropkick. He makes the cover.

Valero picks up Scott and places him in a wrenching side headlock. Scott then delivers three forearms to the ribs before slipping out and reversing into a hammerlock from behind. He then turns Valero around and places him in a standing front facelock. Valero tries to escape. But Scott cinches in the hold. So Valero takes Scott and moves him into the corner. While Scott is against the turnbuckles, the ref goes over and gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

As soon as Scott lets go, Valero drives his shoulder into his torso.

Kris Cruise: Another cheapshot there from Valero.

The boos continue as Valero delivers a set of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then takes Scott and whips him into the opposite corner. Scott arches his back as soon as he crashes into the turnbuckle. While Scott writhes in pain in the opposite corner, Valero takes off across the ring and goes to attack. But Scott ducks and dumps Valero over the top rope…

… but Valero lands safely on the apron. When Scott turns around, Valero doubles him over with another shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then slingshots himself over the top rope and brings Scott down with a sunset flip. But Scott rolls through it, gets back to his feet and quickly lifts up Valero’s legs for the Scott Lock. The crowd explodes with cheers at the sight of Valero being seconds away from being placed in the Scott Lock. But the cheers turn to boos as Valero quickly squirms away before rolling to the outside.

Kris Cruise: Scott looked like he had Valero dead to rights. But Valero was able to slither to the outside. Both of these men are well decorated. We all know of the caliber of both men. Just as we suspected, this match has been pretty even thus far with neither man really taking command of the contest.

Stephy Auger: But that will change soon when Ricky Valero asserts his dominance over Chandler Scott.

After circling the ring, Valero hops back up onto the apron before stepping back inside. The two men then circle the ring before going for a lock up. But at the last second, Valero opts out in favor of a kick to the midsection. He then nails Scott with three right hands to the face before whipping him into the ropes. When Scott comes back, Valero throws out a clothesline. But Scott ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Scott returns, Valero goes for a running back elbow. But again, Scott ducks and runs into the ropes. When Scott comes back, the crowd boos when Valero hurls him across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex.

As Scott slowly turns over and picks himself back up, Valero runs over and connects with a dropkick, sending Scott stumbling through the ropes and to the floor. Valero then circles the ring with his arms spread out.
Stephy Auger: Like I was saying, Cruise...

While Scott slowly picks himself up off the floor, Valero turns and runs into the far ropes. When Valero comes back, Scott slides in and throws out a clothesline. But Valero ducks and runs into the ropes. When Valero returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott turns him inside out with a Pinpoint Dropkick. He makes the cover.

Scott picks up Valero, irish whips him across the ring, follows him into the corner and connects with a running European Uppercut. Scott then runs into the opposite corner. But as soon as he turns around, Valeor nails him with a corner forearm smash. He then takes Scott and whips him back into the previous corner. Valero points over at Scott before charging across the ring and throwing out another corner forearm smash. This time, Scott moves out of the way, causing Valero to crash into the corner. As Valero stumbles back, Scott brings him down with a schoolboy rollup.

After both men return to their feet, Scott takes Valero and whips him into the ropes. When Valero returns, Scott goes for a tilt-a-whirl sideslam. But Valero counters with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover. As Scott gets back to his feet, Valero runs over and sends him flipping down to the canvas with a step up enzuigiri. He makes the cover.

Valero picks Scott and goes for a vertical suplex. But Scott slips down from behind. He then wraps his arms around Valero’s waist. But before Scott can lift him up, Valero nails him with a back elbow. After three more elbows to the face, Valero performs a standing switch, grabs Scott from behind and brings him down with a russian leg sweep. Valero then heads into the ropes. When he comes back, the crowd boos when he connects with the Leg Drops of Jupiter (consecutive rally of leg drops). Valero turns and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: I’ve got to give you credit, Stephy. You said Valero was gonna take control and he’s done just that.

Stephy Auger: Thank you! Everyone’s talking about Chandler this, Chandler that, Chandler’s next in line. Well what about Ricky Valero!? I think he’s got just as good of a shot as anyone to be the next in line for a title shot. If you don’t think so, then just wait. Valero will make you a believe after this main event.

Valero picks up Scott, moves him into the corner and blasts him with a knife edge chop. He then moves Scott from out of the corner before going for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending Valero into the ropes. When Valero returns, the crowd cheers when Scott throws him down with a tilt-a-whirl sideslam. He hooks the leg.

After both grapplers return to their feet, Valero connects with a superkick, sending Scott through the ropes and onto the apron. As Scott tries to pull himself up, Valero steps out onto the apron and knocks him back down with a boot to the head. He then brings Scott back up, places him in a front facelock and falls back, planting him with a DDT on the apron. The crowd boos as Scott slips down and falls off the apron.

Kris Cruise: Valero with a DDT right onto the hardest part of the ring! Scott might be out of it.

Valero picks up Scott and rolls him back into the ring. He then rolls himself back inside before making the cover.

Valero picks up Scott, hooks his arms around the top rope and delivers a series of blistering knife edge chops. He then follows up with a choke using both hands.

Valero breaks the chokes. After a hard elbow strike to the face, Valero turns and runs into the far ropes. When Valero returns, he goes to clothesline Scott over the top rope. But Scott ducks and dumps Valero over the top rope and to the outside.

After Valero crumbles to the floor, Scott makes his way over into the corner.

Kris Cruise: Valero just got tossed to the floo- wait, what’s Scott doing?

Stephy Auger: What is he doing!? He’s not exactly known for being a high flyer.

Scott begins to scale to the top turnbuckle. Once he reaches the top, he crouches down as he waits for Valero to get back to his feet. When Valero gets back to his feet and turns around, the crowd cheers when Scott stands up, leaps off and knocks him down with a Frog Splash Crossbody.

Kris Cruise: What a move by Chandler Scott! The high risk pays off as he takes out Ricky Valero on the floor!

Scott picks up Valero and rolls him back inside. After rolling himself back in, he drags Valero away from the ropes before making the cover.

Scott rolls over, pulls Valero back up and delivers another vertical suplex. Scott rolls over, pulls up Valero, drags him over towards the corner and delivers a snap suplex into the turnbuckles. Stephy Auger: That might be it right there, Cruise.

After dragging Scott into position, Valero steps through the ropes and scales to the top turnbuckle. He the raises his arms in the air before leaping off and crashing on top of Scott with Burying The Hatchet (diving double foot stomp). He makes the cover.

The ref gets down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Valero pulls back on the hold.

Kris Cruise: Scott’s trying to fight through the pain. But Valero’s already softened up the back.

Scott gets asked if he wants to give up. But again, Scott refuses by shaking his head. So Valero tries to pull back even more.

Kris Cruise: You can see how much pain he’s in, Stephy! It’s written all over his face.

Stephy Auger: He should just go ahead and throw in the towel. It wouldn’t be the first time!

Valero yells at Scott to tap. But Scott won’t quit.

Crowd: CHANDLER! CHANDLER! CHANDLER! CHANDLER! CHANDLER!

Kris Cruise: This capacity crowd here in Everett, Washington is trying to rally behind Chandler Scott! But can they will him towards the ropes? Can he fight his way out of this submission>

Scott begins to feed off the energy of the crowd. The ref asks him once more if he wants to give up. But Scott emphatically refuses. He then begins to pulls himself across the ring to the surprise of Valero. Valero can be seen shaking his head in disbelief as Scott scratches and claws his way towards the ropes.

Kris Cruise: He’s making his way towards the ropes. He’s… He’s… he’s almost there! He’s just about an arm’s length away from the ropes!

Just as Scott is about to grab onto the bottom rope, the crowd boos when Valero stands up and drags him back towards the center of the ring. He then lets go of the hold so he can pull Scott back to his feet by his tights. After three hard forearms across the small of the back, Valero sets Scott up for another PinnaclePlex. But this time, Scott blocks the move with three elbows to the back of the head. While Valero’s doubled over, Scott runs into the ropes. When he returns, Valero throws out Dream Street (jumping corkscrew roundhouse knee to the face). But Scott ducks, catches Valero across his shoulders and brings him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. He makes the cover.

Scott picks up Valero and whips him into the corner. He then charges across the ring and connects with another flying corner elbow smash. As soon as Scott lifts Valero up onto the top turnbuckle, Valero kicks him square in the face with a front kick. While Scott stumbles back, Valero stands up on the middle ropes hops, up onto the top ropes, leaps off and knocks him down with a missile dropkick.

Valero rolls out onto the apron before pulling himself up using the ropes. After scaling up onto the top turnbuckle, Valero leaps off and goes for Burying the Hatchet. But Scott rolls out of the way. After Valero lands on his feet, his momentum sends him rolling forward. Once Valero gets to his feet and turns him around, the crowd cheers when Scott runs over and brings him down with a spinning sitout sleeper slam. Scott picks up Valero, delivers an irish whip, follows him into the corner and connects with a running European Uppercut. After sitting Valero on the top rope, Scott grabs him, walks a few paces out of the corner and brings him down with the Mass Spike. Scott then drags Valero over towards the center of the ring before bringing him back to his feet. Once he grabs Valero from behind, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott smashes him with the Roaring Hammer (ripcord polish hammer). He drops down and makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge is cut off by Zero McHannon, who slides into the ring and wallops Scott from behind with a steel chair to the back.

Kris Cruise: What the hell!?

Stephy Auger: Zero McHannon! The real World Champion is here!

The crowd erupts his boos as McHannon paces across the ring with the chair in hand. As Scott slowly tries to push himself up on all fours, McHannon marches over and flattens him with another chair shot across the back. McHannon grips the chair hard before nailing Scott with three more chair shots across the back.

Kris Cruise: McHannon had no business out here! He’s also got no business still being recognized as a World Champion, but that’s a whole different story!

Stephy Auger: McHannon knows that Scott is gonna screw him over. So why not put the screws to him before he can screw you?

While Scott is still down, McHannon throws down the chair before stepping out onto the apron. McHannon then readies himself as he grips the top rope with both hands.

Kris Cruise:

Stephy Auger: It looks like he’s going for Blink, McHannon! He’s about to put an exclamation point on this beatdown!

As soon as McHannon springboards onto the top rope, he quickly hops back down on the apron and jumps down to the floor as Cordy Stevenson slides into the ring. The crowd explodes with cheers upon seeing Saint Sexy in front of them.

Kris Cruise: Cordy Stevenson just made the save!

Stephy Auger: Of course she did! She’s got Chandler in her back pocket!

Stevenson picks up the chair and motions for McHannon to come back inside. McHannon motions to slide back in. But Stevenson runs over and swings the chair down at the canvas, forcing McHannon back to the outside.

While the two World Champions continue to argue back and forth, Scott slowly pushes himself up on all fours. As he looks over to his left, his eyes widen when he sees the chair in Stevenson’s hand.

Scott gets to his feet and slowly makes his way over to Stevenson. He then spins her around and yells at her while pointing out the chair.

Kris Cruise: Scott thinks Stevenson’s the one that laid him out with the chair.

Stephy Auger: Can you blame him? After the conversation he overheard tonight, he probably thinks Stevenson doesn’t want to take the risk of hm costing her the championship!

Stevenson throws down the chair and points to McHannon. But Scott isn’t having it. He continues to yell at Stevenson while pointing an accusatory finger at her. But the World Champion remain stedfast in her denial.

Kris Cruise: Cordy's trying to tell Chandler that she didn't hit him with the chair. But I don't think Chandler can be reasoned with at this point.

Scott continues to point at Stevenson. This time, he’s pointing his finger directly in Scott’s face. Annoyed, Stevenson slaps Scott’s hand away from her. Scott then responds by shoving Stevenson back.

Kris Cruise: Oh boy.

Stephy Auger: This is getting good, Cruise.

As Stevenson steps back to Scott, Scott knocks her back with a pieface.

Kris Cruise: This is not going to end well...

Stephy Auger: I’m loving this, Cruise!

Scott continues to let Stevenson had it. Once he’s done, he motions to turn away… then throws out a right hook. But Stevenson ducks the hooks, kicks him in the midsection and brings him down wit The Allure (twist of fate). The crowd explodes with cheers as Scott just got dropped. Stevenson gets back to her feet and immediately puts her hands on her head.

While she’s lost in the moment, the crowd erupts with boos when McHannon comes up from behind and brings her down with Zero Tolerance! McHannon then leaps back to his feet and throws his fist through the air after spiking Stevenson with his finisher. McHannon drops down next to Scott and trash talks him while holding the “Z” World Championship in his face. He then goes over to Stevenson and does the same.

Kris Cruise: Zero McHannon just dropped Cordy Stevenson with Zero Tolerance! If he does this at Grapple Kingdom, he's gonna walk out as the undisputed champion!

McHannon takes Stevenson’s World Championship belt, runs and chucks it out of the ring and into the aisle. He then marches into the corner, climbs up onto the middle ropes and raises his World Championship in the air while nearly being booed out of the arena...
