6-Man Tag Team Match
Johnny Karma, Noelle Smith, Chris Madison vs. Evan Envi and The Usual Suspects
Dimebag Darrell’s building rift of “Cowboys from Hell” by Pantera abruptly begins over the PA system and the fans rise in anticipation of The Usual Suspects. The song begins its heavy thrashing as the dual guitars begin their monstrous battle for supremacy as the arena lights dim. A red spotlight shines on the black curtains and the fog begins to rise when Phil Anselmo’s screaming vocals begin…
Oh…COME ON!!!Anthony Rother steps through the curtains dressed in one of his usual suits, holding his leather briefcase that he claims is only protecting contracts with FGA Management. Marx & Tryon step out from the entrance and stand in front of the smoked out curtains as the house lights return to brightness.
Under the lights where we stand tall
Nobody touches us at all
Showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without
We’re gonna take what’s ours to have
Spread the word throughout the land
They say the bad guys wear black
We’re tagged and can’t turn backBoth men are dawning black hooded sweatshirts that obscure their face over their singlets. The trio stare out into the crowd, take in boos, and then begin walking to the ring. Rother jaws with a few of the fans in the aisle way.
You see us comin’
And you all together run for cover
We’re taking over this townThe two men pause at the base of the ring apron as Rother ascends into the ring and steps through the ropes.
Here we come reach for your gun
And you better listen well my friend, you see
It’s been slow down below,
Aimed at you we’re the cowboys from hellBoth men hop up onto the ring apron next and enter through the ropes as the music begins to fade. They begin removing their shirts as Rother begins a brief coaching session before the bell rings.
Kris Cruise: Two weeks ago, Anthony Rother’s interference caused the tag team match between the Usual Suspects, Johnny Karma and Noelle Smith to end in a double count.
Stephy Auger: No, want you mean to say was that Johnny Karma flew off the handle and attacked an innocent man!
Kris Cruise: When has Rother ever been innocent!
Stephy Auger: Two weeks ago, when Cherry Baum put her hands on him first! Rother was simply defending himself from a heinous attack! But Karma did his best Annie Zellor impression, “saw red”, and went flying off the handle! Rother isn’t a professional athlete! He’s simply a manager. Karma is lucky that Rother didn’t sue him for all that he had. Then again, after the expenses that Karma paid for putting his dear grandpa in the ground, he’s probably got nothing left to his name, anyway!
Kris Cruise: STOP THAT!
“Can You Feel It?” hits the PA system to a deafening chorus of boos from the audience. As multicolored strobes flicker throughout the darkened arena, Evan Envi struts through the curtains toward the top of the ramp. He pauses, looking out among the audience before casually making his way toward the ring, seemingly ignorant to the boos and jeers raining down on him. Finally, as Envi leaps onto the apron, our lights return to normal. Envi climbs the turnbuckles from the apron, grinning out into the audience, raising the double “V” fingers into the air before finally stepping over the ropes and dropping into the ring, fingers still raised above his head as he marches throughout the squared circle.
Kris Cruise: You want to talk about innocent? I can tell you someone that was not innocent and that was Evan Envi two weeks ago! Then there was the viscious attack on Molly Reid just moments ago!
Stephy Auger: What are you talking about? Not only was he cheated out of his match against Chris Madison, but our so-called Pride Champion decided to attack Envi is his perfectly square jaw with a Molly Kick! You know, I heard that Envi didn’t regain use of his jaw until just a few days ago. Could you imagine if we had to go weeks without hearing the velvet voice of our Chief, Evan Envi?
Kris Cruise: That would’ve been more like a blessing than a curse to me!
Stephy Auger: As far as what happened just a few moments ago, Reid got what she deserved! Maybe if she actually followed the rules, then our Chief wouldn't have felt the need to defend himself
Kris Cruise: Defend himself? HE ATTACKED HER FROM BEHIND!
Stephy Auger: ... yeah, well, he was being proactive.
Kris Cruise: ...
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Six Man Tag Team Match! Introducing team number one. First, being joined in the ring by Anthony Rother and weighing in at a total combined weight of 462 pounds! They are the team of Jason Marx and Chris Tryon… THE USUAL SUSPECTS!
The crowd erupts with boos as Rother shows off his men.
J.A. Aldridge: And their partner, weighing in at 203 pounds! He is the “Chief”, EVAN ENVI!
The boos grow even louder as the once unMollyKickable Envi climbs onto the middle ropes.
The venue's lights cut out, causing the entire building to go dark. Static feedback screeches over the P.A. system, forcing the fans in the audience to cover their ears. The video screen near the entrance way lights up with a white snowy picture, barely illuminating the entrance ramp. A black handprint slowly fades into the picture with a red anarchy symbol carved into the palm of the handprint. The crowd jumps to their feet with a roaring standing ovation as the static feedback is replaced by the opening chorus to Bullet For My Valentine's single You Want a Battle? (Here's A War).
"We will not take this anymore
These words will never be ignored
You want a battle
HERE'S A WAR!!"A sole spotlight focuses on the curtain for the entranceway as Chris Madison steps out. His head is tucked down and covered by a black towel, focusing on the ground beneath him. The crowd erupts in anticipation as Madison stands as still as a statue. He finally brings his fists up towards his face and punches himself on the jaw with both hands before ripping the towel from his head and spiking it down to the ground.
“Lose My Breath” by Destiny's Child starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up.
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my (hah hah)
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my breath (hah hah)She does an athletic somersault forward to take her half down the ramp .
The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the reigning Pride Champion, the man they call Johnny Karma, to the Frontier
Wrestling Arts fanbase - and out he comes, Pride Championship title belt slung over his shoulder, as he walks out onto the ramp before coming to a halt and uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the fans
As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma chats and waves to the fans who have paid to see Him do His thing tonight, while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring
As the pair reach ringside, Karma looks over and gives a nod to Smith and Madison before rushing the ring. The bell sounds as Envi and the Suspect rush over and stomp away at Karma, Smith and Madison as soon as they slide into the ring.
Kris Cruise: The action is starting already in this one!
Stephy Auger: Karma and Company tried to get the jump on Envi and the Usual Suspects. But as usual, they are a step ahead!
Envi picks up Madison, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then moves Madison over and presses down on the back of his neck as he chokes him across the top rope. In the opposite corner, Tryon is nailing Smith with shoot kicks to the chest. In another area of the ring is Marx, who is nearly driving the air out of Karma with hard shoulder thrusts to the midsection.
Stephy Auger: Look at the domination, Burke! Look at how Marx, Tryon and Envi are outclassing the competition! This one will be over in short order.
Kris Cruise: Well I highly doubt that...
Marx continues to work on Karma as he pummels the former two-time Pride Champion down in the corner with punches to the face. While Marx chokes Karma and pulls down on the top rope, Rother can be heard taunting Karma by telling him that his grandfather put up a better fight than him.
Kris Cruise: Did you hear that?
Stephy Auger: What? I heard nothing!
Envi turns Madison around and rakes him across the eyes. He then lights up Madison’s chest with a series of knife edge chops. The Chief then begins to alternate between knife edge chops and forearm strikes. In the opposite corner, Tryon continues to work on Smith as he delivers a series of back elbows to the head.
Stephy Auger: The mutants can boo all they want. But they shouldn’t be booing greatness, Cruise! They should be booing those cheats, Karma, Smith and Madison!
Rother can be seen trying to coordinate with Envi and Tryon from the outside. After Envi and Tryon turn around and give each other a knowing nod, they go to irish whip Madison and Smith into each other. But Madison and Smith reverse, sending Tyron and Envi crashing in the center of the ring to an explosion of cheers. Rother places his hands on his head in disbelief.
Kris Cruise: It looks like the tide has turned!
Stephy Auger: Oh no!
As Envi and Tryon stumble back, Madison hooks Envi from behind before hurling him over his head with a Millennium Suplex! Meanwhile, Smith hops up onto Tryon’s shoulders, spins on his shoulders and brings him down with a hurricanrana!
Kris Cruise: They’re fighting their way back into this one!
Stephy Auger: No, no, no, no, no...
As Envi slowly gets back to his feet, Madison runs over and connects with a yakuza kick, sending Envi through the ropes and to the floor. Meanwhile, Smith runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she delivers a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover that sends Tryon stumbling across the ring, through the ropes and to the floor.
Kris Cruise: Envi and Tryon have been sent to the floor! Marx is the last man standing!
Back in the ring, Marx whips Karma into the ropes. When Karma returns, Marx sets up for a back body drop. But Karma counters with a kick to the chest. After Marx stands up, Karma pelts him with three snapping jabs before dropping him with a right hook.
Kris Cruise: Sugar Ray Karma!
Marx gets back to his feet. But Karma sends him back down with another right hook. Once Marx gets back to his feet, Karma delivers an inverted atomic drop. As Marx stumbles back towards the ropes, Karma runs over and sends Marx over the top rope and to the floor with a clothesline. Rother quickly scurries over, takes a handkerchief from out of his pocket and tries to cool off the Suspects and Envi.
Kris Cruise: What were you saying about this match being over in short order?
Stephy Auger: Shut it, Cruise!
After Envi and the Suspects return to their feet, they huddle up with Rother on the outside. After the huddle breaks, all four men turn to the ring and wave off Karma, Smith and Madison, as if to say “forget this!” The crowd erupts with boos as the four men turn and make their way up the ramp.
Kris Cruise: What is this!?
Stephy Auger: They’ve graced the mutants with their presence. That’s enough for tonight!
Karma, Smith and Madison stand their with their hands on their hips while Morrison and Baum shake their heads.
Kris Cruise: I can’t believe those three! After all their talk, they’re ready to leave at the first sign of trouble!
As soon as Karma, Smith and Madison turn to face the crowd, Rother quickly points back to the ring. Tryon, Marx and Envi then rush to the ring and try to jump the trio from behind. But as soon as Envi and the Suspects climb onto the apron, Karma, Smith and Madison rush back over to attack. Karma heads over and nails Tryon with Check Your Chiclets, knocking him off the apron. Smith runs over and nails Marx with a front dropkick to the chest, knocking him off the apron. Madison then blasts Envi in the face with a bicycle knee strike to the face, knocking him off the apron. The crowd explodes with cheers as all three men have been knocked back to the floor.
Kris Cruise: Their plan backfired Stephy!
Stephy Auger: No kidding!
Incensed at what has happened, Rother climbs up onto the apron and yells at the trio. But he quickly realizes the trouble he’s in once Karma, Smith and Madison, as well as Morrison and Baum, all turn their attention to him.
Kris Cruise: Rother has once again gotten himself in hot water!
Baum quickly grabs Rother by his pant leg and yanks him down to the floor. After grabbing Rother by his tie with one hand, Baum uses the other hand to slap the taste right out of Rother’s mouth. The crowd cheers as Rother stumbles around ringside before flopping face-first onto the canvas.
Stephy Auger: That’s an a-list manager she just assaulted!
Envi and Marx rush over to try and revive Rother. Meanwhile, Tryon climbs back up onto the apron. But he’s met with a shoulder thrust through the ropes for Madison. Madison then goes for a vertical suplex back into the ring. But Tryon is able to slip down from behind and follow up with a forearm strike to the back of the neck. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When Tryon returns, Madison grabs him by the back of the neck, runs and tosses him over the top rope…
… but instead of falling to the floor, Tryon hangs onto the top rope. After Tryon pulls himself up onto the apron, Smith runs into the corner and connects with a springboard dropkick, knocking Tryon off the apron and to the floor. Marx then heads over to check on Tryon. While Marx is distracted, Karma runs into the far ropes. When Marx stands up and turns to face the ring, the crowd cheers as Karma slides under the bottom rope and knocks him down with This Is For The Front Row.
But the cheers quickly turn to boos as Karma is caught with a forearm strike to the back of the neck. Envi then takes Karma and delivers a flapjack into a facebuster across the edge of the apron.
Kris Cruise: My goodness, did you see that!?
Stephy Auger: Yeah! It was great!
Envi moves away as Smith heads to the outside to check on Karma. While Madison leans against the ropes and peers over to check on Karma, Envi rolls in and tries to rush him from behind. But Madison turns around and meets Envi with a series of forearms to the face. He then takes Envi and whips him into the corner. Madison rushes into the corner. But he gets caught by a boot to the face. As Madison turns around and slowly staggers away from the corner, Envi comes up from behind and locks Madison in a Cobra Clutch.
The ref asks Madison if he wants to give up. When Madison refuses, Envi delivers a lifting cobra clutch bomb. He makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Look at this display of awesomeness in the ring! Just like that, our Chief has taken back control of this match!
Envi picks up Madison and gouges his eye as he moves him into the corner. From there, Envi delivers a series of alternating European Uppercuts and knife edge chops. Each chop is followed by a “WOOOOO!” from Envi. The Chief then tags in Marx. Once Marx gets back in, he delivers a flurry of clotheslines in the corner. After bringing Madison from out of the corner, Marx whips him into the far ropes. When Madison returns, Marx knocks him down with a shoulder block. Marx reaches down, pulls Madison up by the arm and knocks him down with a short-arm clothesline. Marx reaches down, pulls Madison up by the wrist and throws out another short-arm clothesline. This time, Madison ducks, swings around Marx from behind and executes a backwards roll into a release German Suplex. The crowd cheers at the display of power from “Mayhem” Madison. Tryon can be seen stomping his foot on the apron while Envi puts his hands on his head.
Kris Cruise: Not only has Madison had issues with Envi in recent weeks, but Ryan LeCavalier as well. That type of raw power could be in LeCavalier’s future very soon.
Stephy Auger: As good as LeCavalier is, “The Lost Monarch” should be the last thing on Madison’s mind right now. He needs to try and tag out. The guy has been taking a beating these last few minutes.
Both men begin to crawl towards their respective corner. They seem to be an equal distance away from their nearest partner. But just then, the crowd boos as Envi steps into the ring, rushes over, grabs Marx and drags him into their corner so that Tryon can tag himself in.
Kris Cruise: Hey, he can’t do that!
Stephy Auger: Too bad, he just did!
The crowd boos as Tryon slingshots himself into the ring, rushes over and tries to stop Madison from making the tag. But Madison is able to roll forward before tagging Smith back in. Tryon stops in his tracks when Smith slingshots herself into the ring. He then throws out a boot to the midsection. After Smith catches his foot, Tryon follows up with an enzuigiri. But Smith ducks. She then quickly follows up with a magistral cradle.

Tryon picks up Smith and throws her down with a scoop slam before heading into the corner. When Tryon returns, he goes for a corkscrew leg drop. But Smith rolls out of the way.
Smith kips up to a vertical base before flattening Tryon with a dropkick. She makes the cover.

...but Rother hops onto the apron, gaining Karma and the ref’s attention. However, Rother quickly hops down and scurries over to the time keeper’s area once Baum and Morrison motion towards him. But he quickly gasps and scurries away once he sees Prince Kamijo, Smith's invited guest, pop up in front of him in the crowd.
Stephy Auger: Who let that THING in here!?!?
Back in the ring, Karma leans Envi forward and positions him for the piledriver. But Envi counters with a standing double leg takedown. After wrapping his arms around Karma’s legs, Envi leans back and catapulting Karma into his corner, where Karma gets punched by Tryon, then Marx. When Karma turns around, Envi flattens him with the Kapowski Kick. He then pops up and celebrates as the crowd erupts with boos.
Kris Cruise: Why is he celebrating!? The match isn’t over!
Stephy Auger: If you could pull off something as great as a Kapowski Kick, you would celebrate, too!
Envi tags Marx back in. After Marx gets in, he hooks both of Karma’s arm. He then hoists Karma up for a double underhook sitout powerbomb. But after Karma gets lifted onto Marx’s shoulders, Karma nails him with a series of punches to the head. He then slips down in front of Marx before knocking him down with Check Your Chiclets.
Kris Cruise: Marx goes down hard after that kick right to the chin!
Marx slowly sits up and tries to shake out the cobwebs while Karma is pulling himself towards his corner. Marx then gets up, grabs a hold of Karma’s ankle and tries to pull him away from the corner. But Karma is able to lunge forward and tag Madison back in.
Stephy Auger: NO!
Kris Cruise: Chris Madison is back in and this crowd is going wild!
The crowd cheers as Madison motions to step back into the ring. But he’s caught with a series of clubbing shots to the back. After Marx pulls him back in, he goes for an irish whip. But Madison reverses, sending Marx into the ropes (where Tryon makes the blind tag). When Marx returns, Madison is set up for a back body drop. But Marx counters with a knee lift.
