FRONTIER LIONS CUP - SEMIFINALS
Mark Storm vs. Chandler Scott
Mark Storm vs. Chandler Scott
“Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott steps through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd.
J.A. Aldridge: This is the Semifinal Match in the Frontier Lions Cup tournament! It is scheduled for one fall with a 30 minute time limit! Introducing first… CHANDLER SCOTT!!
Chandler makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands with a fan or two. He rolls himself into the ring and waits for his opponent.
Kris Cruise: Chandler Scott advanced to this Semifinal Match by defeating Dom Harter in the Quarterfinals. But how much is left?
Stephy Auger: That remains to be seen. Mark Storm is the fresher of the two. But a lot has gone down tonight between Mark Storm’s first match and this match right here. Has Storm cooled off?
"Bad Guy" by Jordon Comoli begins to play through the PA speakers. Stepping through the curtains is Mark Storm, who stands tall at the top of the entrance ramp. A smile is plastered on his face as he marvels at the scenery, embracing all the cheers as he close his eyes and widens his arms before coming down the ramp.
J.A. Aldridge: His opponent… MARK STORM!
Standing by the edge of the ring, he lets out a triumphant roar, with the audience roaring back to him as he jumps onto the apron before he slingshots his way over the top rope. He falls to his knees in the middle of the ring, looking up at the heavens as his theme music slowly begins to fade out.
Stephy Auger: Mark Storm looks as focused as ever, Cruise. He’s one win away from punching his tickets to the Finals, where Johnny Karma is waiting.
Kris Cruise: If I’m Mark Storm, I want to drag this match out as long as possible. He’s got a bit more in the tank than Chandler Scott. The longer this match goes, the more it favors Storm. Also, over the past few weeks, Storm has continued to tweak his moveset. He’s someone that’s never been satisfied. He’s always looking for new ways to put down an opponent. We may see him bust out some new moves in this one.
The bell sounds with both men circling the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Storm brings Scott down to the mat with a fireman’s carry takeover. He quickly turns over into a cover.
