Melanie Sierra: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the CAROLINA CUP! Introducing first, from Some Place Out There… weighing in at 205… he is “THE LAST OF HIS KIND” ADAM ADONIS!

“One of a Kind” hits the P.A System as smoke starts pouring on the entrance. A spotlight stays put on the curtain as “The Prince” Adam Adonis makes his way out standing in the middle of the stage, scouting the crowd as he smirks. He then walks down the ramp and slides into the ring where he waits for his opponent.

Geoff Penzer: Adam Adonis thought that this was going to be a walk in the park. But the more he studied Mercy Williams, he quickly realized that this wasn’t going to be as easy as he thought. He knows Mercy’s got the skill. But he still thinks he has what it takes to walk out of here with the Carolina Cup. Adonis has come up big in high pressure situations. He might do so again in this one.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Sydney, Australia… weighing in at 127 pounds… she is “THE EMERALD JEWEL” MERCY WILLIAMS!

The intro of Shy Guy by Diana King echos through with the song kicking in with its reggae beats. Mercy Williams appears on stage with an open wide smile, soaking in the reaction from the audience. Mercy walks down the ramp syncing her movements to the beat of her entrance theme with a smile brightening up her face. Mercy climbs up to the apron and spins around on her right knee down and her left leg bent and and gets her feet pointing her right arm up to to the fans. Mercy ducks under the top rope to climb into the ring and points towards the fans once again.

Geoff Penzer: Mercy’s trying to follow in the footsteps of The Crimson Baroness and Emily Carter, two LDFC wrestlers who successfully defeated two outside wrestlers to win the Carolina Cup. Adonis is thinking that the third charm just might be the charm. Then again, it might not be. Mercy has always had potential. But that potential is starting to be realized. Mercy has kept her momentum strong and even avenged a previous loss by defeating the current Old North Champion, Skylar Cloud. Is the Carolina Cup in her future? We’re going to find out right now!

The match starts with with Williams and Adonis circling the ring before locking up. Adonis quickly places Williams in a side headlock. Williams tries to shove Adonis off her, but it’s to no avail. She then backs up, then tries to shove Adonis off her. But Adonis drops down to a knee while shaking his head. The ref asks her if she wants to give up. But Mercy refuses to quit. After battling back to her feet, she tries to push the arm up from around her neck. But Adonis overpowers her and reapplies the hold. He then brings Mercy down to the canvas with a side headlock takeover. Mercy’s quick to reverse into a leg scissors head lock. But Adonis escapes with a kip up. After Mercy gets back to her feet, Adonis brings her down with another side headlock takeover. Mercy’s able to reverse into another leg scissors headlock. Adonis goes to escape with a kip up, but he can’t. Adonis tries for another kip up, but again, it’s blocked as Mercy keeps her legs held tight around his neck. After shifting around on the canvas, Adonis turns over onto his knees. After pressing down on Mercy’s thighs, Adonis slowly slips his head out. Once free, he quickly pops up and follows up with a dropkick to the face. The crowd boos as he makes the cover.

Mercy kicks out.

Adonis takes Mercy, moves her into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops. He then takes Mercy and whips her into the opposite corner. Adonis runs across the ring, but Mercy stops him with a back elbow to the face. She then moves Adonis into the corner and delivers a series of chops that echo throughout the venue. She then brings Adonis from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Adonis comes back, Mercy leapfrogs over him. Adonis runs into the opposite set of ropes. When he comes back, Mercy brings him down with an arm drag. Adonis gets back up, but Mercy brings him back down with another arm drag. After Adonis gets back up, Mercy delivers an overflow arm drag, sending Adonis through the ropes and to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: Adonis was just sent to the floor. Could Mercy be taking it to the air?

As Adonis gets up on the outside, Mercy turns and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, Adonis slides back in, gets up and cuts her off with a dropkick to boos from the crowd. Mercy gets back up, but Adonis sends her back down with another dropkick. When Mercy returns to her feet, Adonis connects with an enzuigiri, which sends sends her falling through the ropes and to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: What’s Adonis got in mind here?

While Mercy gets up on the floor, Adonis turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, he hurls himself through the ropes and knocks Mercy down with a suicide dive. Adonis picks up Mercy and rolls her back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he gets back to his feet. While Mercy stirs on the canvas, Adonis circles her while putting his finger to the side of his head. He then steps through the ropes before climbing up to the top turnbuckle. Once Mercy gets up and turns around, Adonis leaps off and goes for a diving knee strike. But Mercy rolls out of the way, causing Adonis to crash and burn on the canvas to cheers from the crowd.

Geoff Penzer: The dive to the outside paid off. But the dive off the top? Not so much.

Once Adonis gets to his feet and turns around, Mercy doubles him over with a kick to the midsection. She goes for a gutwrench suplex, but Adonis blocks it. She then tries to muscle him up for a gutwrench suplex. But Adonis blocks it and quickly counters into a fujiwara armbar.

Geoff Penzer: What a counter by Adonis!

Mercy yells in agony while Adonis pulls back on the arm. The ref asks her if she wants to give up. But she refuses to quit. So Adonis pulls back further, increasing the pressure. The causes Mercy to grit her teeth while she lets out a labored grunt.

Geoff Penzer: Mercy’s come so far. To fall short here, and by submission, would kill her.

The ref checks back in and asks Mercy if she wants to give up. But The Emerald Jewel refuses to tap. She then begins to slowly pull herself towards the ropes, much to Adonis’ surprises. He begins to shake his head in disbelief as Mercy continues to make progress. She then reaches out with her free arm… and grabs the bottom rope to cheers from the crowd.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… FIV-

Adonis breaks the hold. But it wasn't fast enough for the ref. So the ref begins to admonish him. But Adonis pays him no mind. Instead, he returns to his feet and puts the boots to Mercy’s back. He then reaches down, yanks up Mercy and whips her into the ropes. When she comes back, Adonis throws out a clothesline. But Mercy ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Adonis turns around, Mercy knocks him down with a clothesline. The crowd cheers as she makes the cover.

Adonis kicks out.

Mercy picks up Adonis and delivers a European Uppercut that knocks him into the ropes. Mercy goes over, pulls Adonis off the ropes and delivers a European Uppercut that knocks him into the corner. She then goes into the corner, takes Adonis and whips him into the opposite corner. Mercy sizes him up before running across the ring and delivering another European Uppercut. She goes for a bulldog out of the corner. But Adonis shoves Mercy off of her and into the ropes. When Mercy returns, Adonis throws out a clothesline. But Mercy ducks and applies a half nelson choke from behind.

Geoff Penzer: Adonis with nowhere to go!

Adonis tries his best to fight it off. But Mercy’s got it cinched in. Adonis then leans forward, lifting Mercy up onto his back. He then runs backwards and squashes Mercy in the corner. Once the hold if broken, Adonis takes a few steps out before connecting with a Pelé Kick. Adonis returns to his feet, brings Mercy from out of the corner and lifts her up on his shoulders for a turnbuckle powerbomb. But Mercy delivers several overhead elbows to the top of the head. After she slips down in front of Adonis, she throws him down with an STO. Mercy makes the cover.

Adonis gets his shoulder up.

Mercy picks up Adonis and whips him into the ropes. When Adonis comes back, Mercy rolls him up with a leg trap into a single leg crab. Adonis can be heard grunting as Mercy pulls back on the leg.

Geoff Penzer: And now Adonis is trapped again!

Mercy continues to keep the hold locked in while the crowd cheers. Meanwhile, Adonis is trying to fight off the pain. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. But he refuses. So Mercy pulls back, causing Adonis to let out a guttural wail.

Geoff Penzer: He’s really starting to feel the pain now. Can Adonis find a way out of this hold or is mercy seconds away from hoisting the Carolina Cup?

The ref checks back in with Adonis and asks him if he wants to give up. But again, Adonis refuses to quit. So he pushes himself up and begins to crawl towards the ropes. But Mercy stands up, drags Adonis back to the center of the ring and delivers a stomp to the back of the neck before locking the hold in.

Geoff Penzer: Adonis thought he was on his way to the ropes. But Mercy had other plans!

The ref asks Adonis if he wants to give up. But again, Adonis refuses. So he slowly begins to scratch, claw and pull his way towards the ropes. Mercy squats down as deep as she can. But it only slows Adonis down for so much. Adonis reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope to boos from the crowd.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Mercy lets go. She then picks up Adonis and whips him into the corner. She runs across the ring, but Adonis catches her with a back elbow. After hoisting himself up onto the middle ropes, Adonis wraps his legs around her head and leans back, delivering a rope-hung figure four necklock. The ref gives Adonis until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO.... THREE… FOUR…FI-

Adonis breaks the hold. But just like last time, Adonis is pushing his luck. While Mercy is down on one knee, Adonis gets up and scales to the top turnbuckle. He then leaps off and knocks her down with a diving knee drop. The crowd boos as he makes the cover.

Mercy gets her shoulder up.

Adonis picks up Mercy and goes for a vertical suplex. But she blocks and counters with a small package.

After both grapplers get to their feet, Adonis rocks Mercy with a roundhouse kick. He then kicks her in the midsection before going for an Olympic Slam. But Mercy slips down from behind and follows up with a bulldog. She makes the cover.

Mercy picks up Adonis and goes for an irish whip. But Adonis reverses, sending Mercy into the ropes. When she comes back, Adonis goes for a Superman Punch. But Mercy ducks. When Adonis turns around, Mercy delivers a double knee armbreaker.

Adonis gets back to his feet. When he turns around, Mercy knocks him down with a clothesline. Adonis gets back to his feet, but Mercy knocks him down with another clothesline. Once Adonis gets back up, Mercy throws out a Bicycle Kick. But Adonis catches her foot. He then turns her away from him before quickly applying an inverted facelock from behind. Adonis the yells out, “IT’S OVER 9000!” before delivering a lifting inverted DDT. The crowd boos as he makes the cover.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and the NEW Carolina Cup winner… ADAM ADONIS!

The crowd boos as Adonis motions for the Carolina Cup to be handed to him. The boos continue as Adonis takes the cup, heads into all four corners and hoists it in the air.

Geoff Penzer: Valiant effort by Mercy Williams. One of her best matches to date. But Adonis was able to get a timely counter at the end there. And with that, Adam Adonis is now the current Carolina Cup holder!

[ FADE OUT ]

“Titanium” hits the sound system to a chorus of boos. Several seconds pass before Skylar Cloud comes through the curtain, riding on the shoulders of the massive bearded man who has been laying waste to LDFC competitors in recent weeks. Skylar holds the customized spinner Old North Championship belt high above her head, grinning ear to ear, as the young woman who directed traffic in the trap assault on Jensen Banks last week darts around yelling at fans to reach for the Skylar.

Geoff Penzer: Here comes our Old North Champion, along with some unwanted company. Most times our fans don’t want to hear what she says, but I think this is a case where everyone feels they’re owed an explanation for the events of last Pride.

Skylar is hoisted onto the apron, where the other woman holds the ropes open for her to step through. Cloud takes the center of the ring, holding the title in the air again to more jeers, and allowing her companions to take the belt from her hands, before strapping it around her waist. After she’s been fetched a microphone, Skylar tries to cheerily yell over the booing fans as the other two stand behind her.

Skylar Cloud: Good evening Skylights, who’s ready to Reach For the Skylar!!!???

She receives more heat in return.

Skylar Cloud: Ouch, salty! And I think I know why, so I’ll just skip right over my last match which I’m sure none of you want to hear about anyways, and get right to business. Because it seems there might have been a tiny misconception!

Geoff Penzer: Shocking, she wants to skip right over a match she lost.

Skylar Cloud: FIrst off, I’d like to introduce you all to two very special people! I’ve talked a lot about how The Skylar Systemic can change your life, and these two are living proof of it! They’re two of my very first success stories who completely embraced my life teachings, and cast aside their past. Naturally, part of doing so and reaching true fulfillment was to give up their old names which shackled them to a life of mediocrity, and despair. So I would like you all to give a warm North Cackalacky welcome to Skylar II --

She points at the bearded, tattooed man.

Skylar Cloud: And Skylar III !

Then at the young woman, before clearing her throat.

Skylar Cloud: I say all this because I am nothing if not incredibly honest, and have nothing to hide. In fact, I’m proud of anyone who finds happiness because of me! So you can believe me when I say I had nothing to do with any of their vicious assaults they perpetrated! I may be their spiritual guide, but they are both beautiful flowers with free will, who make their own choices, isn’t that right!?

She glances back at them, and they each vigorously nod to affirm her statement.

Skylar Cloud: I get how people could be confused because of the nasty things Cretin, and Helen said about me in the past, but Skylar Cloud only inspired with violence between the ropes during the course of a match! So anyone saying I’m a hypocrite for denouncing Shinjooki’s senseless violence, or who thinks there’s any reason for me to have a problem with Jensen Banks is dead wrong!

A beat.

Skylar Cloud: I mean, I would hardly call him being at the wrong place at the wrong time as they realized their potential, or them wanting to use Helen and Cretin as an example of the bad things that can happen when you don’t reach for the Skylar senseless but my point remains that we should applaud them for making grown choices as adults, and most importantly realize this has nothing to do with me so Jensen Banks can put this little silly misunderstanding behind ---

“The Outside” by Red begins to blare throughout the arena and the audience cheers as Jensen Banks makes his way from behind the curtain, still dressed in his ring gear. The young man is still sweating from his tag team match against Brute Camp, a match that the audience seemed to enjoy very much. He cracks his neck before he raises the mic in his right hand up to his lips so he can speak.

Jensen Banks: Cut my music, please.

The music then fades out before Jensen, still keeping his eyes on the three people either in or by the ring.

Jensen Banks: I’m gonna be honest. After getting dropped by uh...Skylar Dos and Tres over there, I felt real fucking foolish. I felt like I had been tricked and truth be told, I was. I was tricked by your two new...allies? Followers? Ass wipers? I don’t really know what the hell you call them and I don’t really care. All I care is that I was made to look like a fool, and if you know anything about the people I’m related to, being made a fool out of doesn’t sit really well with us.

Banks chuckles.

Jensen Banks: Luke hit the Bank Shot on someone with barbed wire until he couldn’t Bank Shot them no more, the whole thing really starting with that person trying to make a fool of him. BB has slapped around his fair share of dumbasses who tried to make a fool out of him. And Felicity? Well, she’s probably one of those people who would make your life a living hell if you tried to make a fool out of her. Which begs the question...how should I react?

Jensen takes a few steps towards the ring, but smiles and comes to a stop when he sees Skylar II and Skylar III take a few steps toward him.

Jensen Banks: And I think the best answer to that question is for me to go full Bank Shot flurry and drop these two...before I drop you too!

The audience cheers and begins chanting “Bank Shot City” as Jensen lowers the mic, allowing Skylar to reply. She holds her hand out trying to calm him down.

Skylar Cloud: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Calm down there, so tense; I think we all know if you could have dropped all three of us, you would have already!

Skylar flashes a toothy grin.

Skylar Cloud: So let’s just talk this out, and look at it as a chance for improvement, not to fight! I mean think about it, what’s your first go to response there when angry -- what your family members would do. But the fact is, you’re not your family members!

The fans boo that statement.

Skylar Cloud: I mean sure you dish out your share of Bank Shots, but man when you look at what they’ve accomplished, and your performance here so far where you’re best known for what, being Emily Carter’s tag along, it’s pretty clear to me what’s going on here. And I know you don’t want to hear that, but I tell the truth because I care. What’s happened is, you’re weighed down by the burden of the Banks family name, and are drowning in a pool of your own mediocrity as the shadow of your relatives swallows you up. But what if I told you that you could find a new family, one where everyone truly shares in the glory? A better family, one where you could get a clean slate, cast your old name aside, embrace your destiny to be Skylar IV and … Reach for the Skylar!

The fans boo loudly as she holds her arms out wide.

Geoff Penzer: I don’t think these fans can believe she’s actually serious, asking him that.

Jensen sighs before he stares at Skylar with a blank expression...until he actually begins to think about it. He raises the mic again after a few seconds, looking right at Skylar as he does so.

Jensen Banks: You know what? You...just might be right. Maybe being a Banks is just too much pressure for me. Maybe becoming a Skylar would be what’s best for my career. But...I have a problem with the name Skylar IV...

The audience begins chanting “no” at Jensen accepting a Skylar-full life, but the young man doesn’t listen as he continues on.

Jensen Banks: I just don’t like the number four. Y’know, nobody actually wants to be number fucking four. So, how about this? How about I take the GOAT’s number as part of my name? Skylar 23 sounds a hell of a lot better than Skylar IV. Shit, it sounds like an actual star. So, how about that, Skylar? I join you and the other Skylars if you let me be Skylar 23.

Skylar at first bristles at the suggestion, but then composes herself, nods and smiles.

Skylar Cloud: That sounds wonderful! Skylar XXIII it is is -- might be a bit large to fit on your nametag -- but we can make anything work now that we’re together.

Her Skylars are still tense and ready to fight, before she looks them off, having them back away. Jensen makes his way into the ring after that, keeping an eye on the other Skylars as he does so.

Skylar Cloud:It’s okay, it’s okay, he’s part of the family now!

She walks forward with open arms to embrace him.

Skylar Cloud:Welcome to the Systemic, let’s get ready to Reach for the Sky --

Her catchphrase is cut off as she walks right into a huge Bank Shot!

Geoff Penzer: Bank Shot City!

The crowd roars as the Old North Champion crumbles to the mat, the belt falling from her waist! The other Skylars are stunned as Jensen then grabs the title and stares at it with a smirk before dropping it on Skylar. The Skylars then slide in and he avoids the two on one attack of the Skylars, sliding out of the ring, and letting them know how he feels as he shouts “fuck your cult” as he walks back up the entranceway, not taking his eyes off the fallen Old North Champion and her two goons.

Geoff Penzer: Skylar Cloud’s arrogance got the best of her there. She was outsmarted by Jensen Banks, who made it very clear the only thing he is not joining her, he’s coming for her Old North Championship!

[ FADE OUT ]

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. It is a Semifinals Match in the APEX Tag Team Championship Tournament! And it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, from Gifu, Japan… weighing in at 242 pounds… he is “THE STRONG STYLE SAVIOR”... SHINTARO MAJIMA!

The arena lights dim as "Rhino Jockey" begins to play, before gold and reddish-orange lights slowly illuminate the entranceway. As the primal buzz of the bassline starts to build, the lights begin to flicker in sync with it, as the bassline grows and grows in its intensity until Shintaro Majima appears at the top of the ramp and walks towards the ring without a moment's hesitation.

Majima reaches ringside and climbs the ring steps, stepping through the ropes into the ring, where he loosens his ring robe and standing in the nearest corner before removing his dark sunglasses and locking eyes with his opponent.

Melanie Sierra: And his partner, from Los Angeles, California… weighing in at 127 pounds… she is “THE BLACK ADDER”... HANA SONG!

The horns marking the start of 'Wiping All Out' sound out like the trumpets of reveille would. The lyrics announce the arrival of the Black Adder herself. "I'm not a princess. Not a cutie girlfriend, oh no, don't you know?" Hana stands in front of the black curtain, her head tilted to the right and her arms crossed. She stares down towards the ring, smirking, and drags her tongue left to right across her lips before setting off. As she walks to the ring, she bobs her head in rhythm to the beat of the song. Outside the ring she slides into it under the bottom rope and the head bob transitions into a quick horizontal body wiggle akin to a snake slithering about. Hana stands and bobs her head until her music stops, at which point she merely waits.

Melanie Sierra: And their opponent! Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania... weighing in at 124 pounds… THE CRIMSON BARONESS!

The soft melody of ‘Crimson’ by Morcheeba begins to play throughout the arena as The Crimson Baroness steps out from behind the curtain; her top hat is tipped forward, covering her eyes slightly as she poses, resting both hands on the head of her cane. The crowd immediately begin booing and jeering, letting The Baroness know exactly what they think of her. She begins her slow walk to the ring, shrugging off the hatred with a sense of nonchalance. She climbs up the ring steps, urging the referee to hold the ropes open for her before she steps in under the middle ropes; The Crimson Baroness removes her hat and places it delicately in the corner next to her cane before she waits for the match to begin.

Melanie Sierra: And her partner, from Hollywood, California... Weighing in at 190 pounds… he is “THE SULTAN OF SELFIES”... PRINCE MACREAR!

"I'M BRINGING SEXY BAAAACK."

As soon as the beat of “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake hits, smoke smoothly pours up from the entrance ramp, masking the actual entrance impossible to see. Prince MacRear emerges from the smoke mid-sequence, a smug grin on his demeanor and jerking his hips. With a look on his face that can only mean he’s clearly enthused with himself, he does a twirl before continuing down to the ring. MacRear takes turns shouting at the sky, yelling at fans, and twerking his backside at every chance he gets while taking selfies with his iPhone.

As he reaches the ring, MacRear sprawls across the apron and poses, almost model like, soaking the attention from the crowd. MacRear waves the fans off and rolls toward the middle of the ring. He takes one more selfie, sets his phone down on the canvas, and in a swift, exaggerated manner, takes off his robe.

The match starts with both teams brawling in the center of the ring.

Geoff Penzer: Here we go!

Hana paired off with TCB and MacRear with Majima. TCB and Hana trade blows back and forth until TCB rakes her across the eyes. On the other side of the ring, MacRear knocks Majima back with a series of knife edge chops. But Majima is quick to take MacRear, toss him against the ropes and light him up with machine gun chops.

Back in the corner, TCB chokes Hana with her foot while pulling down on the top rope. The ref gives her until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

TCB lets go. She then knees Hana in the midsection before tossing her through the ropes and to the floor.

Back in the ring, Majima shoves MacRear into the corner and delivers a series of shoot kicks to the chest. The thud from each kick can be heard throughout the venue. He then takes MacRear and whips him into the opposite corner. He then charges across the ring, but MacRear nails him with a back elbow to the face. After stumbling back, Majima runs right back into the corner. This time, MacRear gives him a boot to the face. While Majima turns and staggers away from the corner, MacRear runs up from behind and knocks him down with a spinning heel kick to the back of the head.

On the floor, Hana can be seen slowly picking herself back up. But the Baroness is quick to flip over the top rope and knock her down with a Fosbury Flop. She then picks up Hana and whips her hard into the ring post. The Black Adder collapses to the floor after her head smacks off the post.

Geoff Penzer: Give credit where credit is due. Prince MacRear and The Crimson Baroness have got firm control of this one after a wild brawl to start it off.

Back in the ring, MacRear picks up Majima and whips him into the ropes. When he comes back, MacRear knocks him down with a running thump. He then picks Majima back up, lifts him up and throws him down with the Facial (front pancake slam). He turns Majima over and makes the cover.

Majima kicks out.

MacRear picks up Majima and whips him into the corner. While the Baroness holds Majima from behind, MacRear runs into the corner and connects with a dropkick. Once he returns to his feet, he tags Baroness in. TCB steps back and chokes Majima with her boot. The ref gives her until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… FI-

TCB lets go. While the ref tells her to release the hold in a timelier fashion, MacRear takes the tag rope, wraps it around Majima’s neck and chokes him with it. He then quickly lets go just as the ref turns around. TCB heads into the corner, kicks Majima in the midsection and brings him out of the corner. She goes for an irish whip. But Majima reverses, sending her into the ropes. When she comes back, Majima sets up for a back body drop. But TCB counters with a knee lift, followed by a jumping DDT. She makes the cover.

Majima gets his shoulder up.

Baroness picks up Majima and brings him into the corner. After hoisting herself up onto the middle ropes, she grabs Majima and goes for a tornado DDT. But Majima shoves her off in mid-turn. After she lands on her feet, Majima runs over and throws out the Kurimuzon Kasai (lariat), but TCB ducks. When Majima turns around, she kicks him in the midsection and is about to plant him with a DDT. But Majima delivers a single leg pickup, runs across the ring and rams her back-first into the corner. He unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts before nailing her with a backhand chop. He reaches over and tags in The Black Adder.

Once Song gets in, she delivers four shoot kicks to the chest, followed by a jumping sole kick to the face, which sends TCB slumping down in the corner. Song walks towards the center of the ring. She then turns, runs back into the corner and connects with a hesitation dropkick. Song drags TCB out of the corner before making the cover.

Song picks up Baroness and whips her into the ropes. When TCB comes back, Song sets up for a back body drop. But TCB counters with a snap DDT. She makes the cover.

The Baroness picks up Song, wrenches her arm and drags her into the corner. After climbing up onto the top turnbuckle, Baroness rope walks across the top rope. Just as she’s about to jump off, Song throws her down to the canvas. As TCB gets back to her feet, Song runs over and throws out a clothesline. But Baroness ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Song knocks her down with a spinning heel kick. She makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Yet another timely save there by MacRear.

Song picks up the Baroness and goes for a vertical suplex, but TCB blocks. She then punches Song in the ribs before goes for a suplex of her own. But Song slips down from behind and quickly delivers a russian leg sweep. She rolls back up to her feet before taking off into the ropes. When Song returns, she hits a double leg drop. She makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: The Crimson Baroness and MacRear took advantage after a wild start. But over these last few minutes, The Black Adder and The Strong Style Savior have taken back control. Both of these teams want to badly become the first-ever APEX Tag Team Champions. But in addition, Song and MacRear to also call themselves the APEX Champion. Of course, they have to get past Nest to do that. And in championship matches, no one has been able to wrestle that championship away from him.

Song picks up The Baroness and whips her into the corner. Song then charges into the corner. But TCB nails her with a back elbow to the face. While Song stumbles back, the Baroness runs over and connects with a spinning back fist, which knocks Song down to a knee. TCB then bounces into the ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a Shining Black. She makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Song just got blasted with that boot to the face. But she had the wherewithal to get her shoulder up in time.

TCB picks up Song and whips her into the ropes. When Song comes back, TCB sets up for a back body drop. Song counters with a sunset flip. But TCB rolls through it, gets to her feet and then blasts Song in the face with a Penalty Kick. She makes the cover.

Baroness brings Song into the corner. After climbing up onto the middles ropes, she goes for another tornado DDT. But again, she gets shoved off in mid air. After she lands on her feet, Song spits out the green Venom, but TCB ducks. As soon as she raises her head, Hana rocks her with a roundhouse kick. While TCB’s dazed, Song wrenches her arm and delivers short-arm elbow strikes. The last of which knocks TCB down. Song makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: MacRear there's for another save.

While MacRear is headed towards the ropes, Majima runs over and delivers a running big boot to the back, which knocks MacRear through the ropes and to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: Looks like Majima's had enough of MacRear constantly breaking up the pins.

Back in the ring, a stinging chop from The Black Adder knocks TCB back into the ropes. Song then goes over and cracks TCB across the jaw with an elbow strike. The Black Adder takes the Baroness and goes for an irish whip. But TCB reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Song comes back, she knocks down TCB with a calf kick. TCB gets back up, but Song knocks her back down with another calf kick. Once The Baroness returns to her feet, Song doubles her over with a jumping sole kick to the midsection. She follows up with a facebreaker knee smash. While TCB’s dazed, Song steps back before knocking her down with the Rattler’s Bite (savate kick). She makes the cover.

MacRear drags Song off of the Baroness.

Geoff Penzer: There he is again!

Song picks up the Baroness and whips her into the ropes. When she comes back, Song throws out a kick. But TCB catches it. She then spins Song around. When Song comes back, TCB knocks her down with a spinning backfist. She then goes over and tags MacRear back in. The Sultan of Selfies proceeds to climb to the top turnbuckle. Once Song gets up and turns around, he goes for a flying crossbody. But Song rolls underneath it, causing MacRear to crash to the canvas. Once MacRear returns to his feet, Song runs over and connects with a front dropkick, which sends MacRear flying back into the corner. Song gets back to her feet and runs into the corner and makes the tag. Majima nails MacRear with a forearm strike to the back of the head. After MacRear staggers away from the corner, he turns around. But Majima knocks him down with a Hakai Tsuchi (slingshot shoulder block). He makes the cover.

After returning to the ring, MacRear charges back into the corner and hits BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY ROCKIN EVERYWHERE (running thump). He drags Majima out of the corner before making the cover.

Song breaks up the pin with a stomp to the back. She then picks up MacRear, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. She then turns MacRear around and delivers shoot kicks to the chest. But the Baroness comes up from behind, grabs Song, turns and tosses her through the ropes and to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: All hell might be breaking loose again in this one!

Back in the ring, MacRear and TCB pick up Majima and whip him into the ropes. When he comes back, he stops and kicks MacRear square in the face. Once TCB stands up, he hooks her, lifts her up and throws her down with a Uranage. MacRear goes back over to Majima. But Majima kicks him, wrenches his arm and delivers the Akuma-fu (repeated short-arm clothesline). The last of which turns MacRear inside out.

When The Baroness gets back to her feet and turns around, Majima runs over and delivers a yakuza kick to the chest that sends her falling through the ropes and to the floor, where Song is waiting to put the boots to her.

Back in the ring, Majima takes MacRear and whips him hard into the corner. After MacRear collides sternum-first with the top turnbuckle and stumbles back, Majima throws him down with the GOJU50 (half and half suplex). He makes the cover.

On the outside, Song goes to pick up TCB. But TCB rams her back-first against the side of the ring. She then climbs up onto the apron and tries to get back in the ring. But Song turns around and grabs onto her leg.

Back in the ring, Majima takes MacRear, lifts him up and throws him down with a release powerbomb. While he signals for the Kurimuzon Kadai, TCB repeatedly kicks Song in the face until she knocks her off. The Baroness then gets back in the ring, garnering the ref and Majima’s attention. When Majima quickly turns around, MacRear blatantly kicks him below the belt wit the Slapnut Mangos. While Majima’s doubled over, MacRear lifts him up onto his shoulders and delivers Damaged Goods (Go To Sleep). He makes the cover.

After MacRear returns to his feet, he and The Baroness pull their arms away from the ref. MacRear then shoos the ref out of the ring while TCB retrieves his phone. At MacRear's signal, the lights are dimmed and a spotlight shines down on he and TCB. The two then pose for a selfie as the crowd continues to boo.

Geoff Penzer: Like them or not, Prince MacRear and The Crimson Baroness were able to withstand the constant attacks from Hana Song and Shintaro Majima. There was bad blood going into this one and it showed. Both sides hit hard. But in the end, MacRear and the Baroness were able to edge out a victory. Now in two weeks, it'll be Brute Camp taking on this team right here. One of those two teams will be crowned the first APEX Tag Team Champions! Will it be Becky and Mason?
