“I have that bout of anxiousness, awaiting for a response from a boy. Will he tick the box on the card or throw it away? Oh man, that feeling of a boy rejecting me just doesn’t sit well with me.”
Mercy pouted, crossing her arms. She was making light of the situation of her upcoming Carolina’s Cup match against Adam Adonis. At the online aftershow of Pride, Mercy accepted Adam’s challenge of who will face him for the coveted cup.
“In reality, I’m just awaiting for the belittling. Since I’m a woman with boobs, I don’t have that talent to measure up to him. Since technically my only “talent” is my boobs anyway.” Mercy frowned, looking down at her chest.
She wore her branded green T-shirt as a crop top so her boobs weren’t on show. Instead her toned abs and long legs were on displayed with a short denim shorts and a plaid shirt wrapped around her waist.
“But whatever, I do have other concerns than simply waiting for Mr. Adonis to make his presence known. At this week show I have my long awaiting non-title rematch against the Old North Champion, Skylar Cloud. Skylar is celebrating the fact that she has held that gold for over 100 days. That’s one mighty accomplishment, so Skylar congratulations on that feat.”
Mercy clapped slowly with a soft smile upon her face. Mercy stopped clapping and swung her arms around her back, holding on to her wrists behind her.
“As much as I admire your spunk, Skylar, I do won’t to right a wrong that happened in our previous encounter. I did make you tap out, despite your fabrication of the event.”
“In the books, she did score the victory even though I made her tap out. But why didn’t I get that victory?” Mercy tapped her chin, and then scoffed.
“Oh that’s right, one of Kellen Klein's girls caused an interference. I should add that I’m just devastated that those girls are probably jobless at the moment since Kellen fell off the face of the earth..” Mercy rolled her eyes, showing quite the opposite.
She playfully huffed, not slightly bothered by Kellen’s disappearance. She was finished with him and he was far away from her problems anymore.
“I’m looking forward to this match but I just hope to God that there isn’t any unnecessary distractions. I want this match wrestled right down in the middle. No silly games or any kind of dusty finishes, or whatever. I just want to prove to myself that I can make Skylar beg for mercy once again."
Mercy winked into the camera referencing her newly learned trademark submission move ‘Beg for Mercy’. She was so excited to put that move into good use and score a victory with it.
“But I can’t deny Skylar’s efforts since she’s been Old North Champion for over 100 days. She’s defended that championship, continuing proving her win in that battle royal wasn’t simply a fluke. But on a lighter note I have to add, isn’t it cute how she just loves to call me Mammary Williams? I wish I could come up with such a creative nickname for you… I don’t know, maybe Skylark? I believe that’s a bird that sings when it flies. You do tend to ‘sing’ a lot with with your power of positivity.”
“But speaking on the other spectrum of positivity - Whenever I’m advertised for a match, I’m the one who has the most to prove. People have already written me off that I have no chance against defeating Skylar. That isn’t disheartening to me at all - it drives me harder. If I took the criticism to heart then I would’ve packed my bags and went back to Australia. I always took an understanding that it’s the survival of the fittest in the world of wrestling.”
“And now If I wasn’t working my ass off, I wouldn’t have been given that opportunity to compete for the Carolina’s Cup to represent LDFC. I’ve already decided on my future - I want the the Old North Championship and a Carolina’s Cup in my possession. Both are at hands reach and it’s up to me to become the ultimate opportunist.”
“It all comes down to the power of positivity, ain't it?” Mercy placed her hands together in a pray position and bowing her head.
“Namaste Skylar”
Mercy looked up and opened her eyes with her face illuminating. The scene then faded with the memory of Mercy’s face as it went black.
