Geoff Penzer: Hello and welcome to another edition of Pride! I am your host, Geoff Penzer! Tonight, we have an explosive main event. “Terrific” Terrence Tillman, the number one contender for the APEX Championship, takes on The Crimson Baroness!
It wasn’t that long ago that The Crimson Baroness repeatedly low blowed Tillman and tried to sideline him with her armbar. But her plans were thwarted when Emily Carter rushed the ring to make the save. Now, with Emily being able to pick the Baroness’ poison for tonight’s show, the current Carolina Cup holder is giving the Leader of the T-Unit the chance at revenge. Will Tillman get back at the Baroness? Or will the Pride of LDFC fall victim to another one of TCB’s plots? But that’s not all!
Also here tonight, Prince MacRear goes one on one with the impressive Mercy Williams!
Prince MacRear has been on the sidelines these past few weeks with an alleged sinus infection. Now that MacRear is all good to go, he steps back into the ring against the surging Mercy Williams. Will the Sultan of Selfies return to his winning ways? Or will Ms. Williams have him begging for Mercy?
We’ve got a ton in store for you tonight. So let's not waste anymore time. This Winston-Salem crowd is hot and ready for action! So let’s send it to the ring where Tony Allen is standing by. Tony!

The match begins with Butcher offering a handshake. EGM is hesitant as he’s read up on Butcher and knows his history. But at the same time, he is offering a polite gesture. So EGM turns to the crowd and gauges their reaction. The hot Winston-Salem crowd motions for EGM to decline the handshake. As much as EGM wants to, he also doesn’t want to decline such a noble gesture. He curls his mouth before slowly reaching forward and shaking Butcher’s hand. But as EGM tries to turn away, Butcher yanks him over and turns him inside out with a short-arm lariat.
Butcher makes EGM pay for his naiveté by delivering a series of stomps to the midsection. He then brings EGM to his feet, tosses him into the corner and goes to town on him with a series of rights and lefts to the head and back.
At the two minute mark, Butcher brings EGM out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When EGM returns, Butcher sets up for a back body drop. But EGM stops, hooks both of his arm and delivers knee strikes to the face before planting him with a double underhook DDT. The cover gets two.
After EGM’s taken control of the match, he goes for an irish whip. But Butcher reverses, sending him into the ropes. But instead of coming back, EGM hangs onto the ropes. So Butcher runs over to attack. But EGM ducks and dumps Butcher over the top rope…
… but Butcher lands safely on the apron! When EGM turns around, Butcher takes a hard swipe at him. But EGM ducks and counters with a jumping enzuigiri, sending the Englishmen falling down to the floor.
While Butcher shakes out the cobwebs on the outside, EGM takes off into the far ropes. When he returns, he charges across the ring, lunges through the ropes and delivers a suicide dive into a tornado DDT. The athletic maneuver causes the crowd to jump out of their seats with cheers and applause. But EGM isn’t done yet! He slides back into the ring and begins waving up Butcher. Once Butcher slowly returns to a vertical base, EGM takes off into the far ropes. When he returns, he flattens Butcher with a leaping somersault plancha. EGM rolls Butcher back into the ring and makes the cover for a count two.
At the five minute mark, EGM lifts up Butcher for a brainbuster. But Butcher knees him in the head on the way up. After Butcher returns to his feet, he knocks EGM down with a European Uppercut. The cover gets two. Butcher brings EGM back to his feet and goes for an irish whip. But EGM reverses, sending Butcher for the ride. When Butcher returns, he throws down EGM with a rebound STO. The cover gets two.
Around the seven minute mark, Butcher nails EGM with a series of headbutts. The blows to the head leaves EGM a bit dazed. He then sends EGM into the ropes. When EGM returns, Butcher hoists him up for a Popup European Uppercut. But on the way down, EGM counters with a headscissors takeover. Butcher returns to his feet, but EGM returns him to the mat with a running back elbow. Butcher gets back to a vertical base, but EGM brings him back to the mat with a Japanese arm drag. EGM takes off into the ropes as Butcher returns to his feet. When Butcher turns around, he turns into a leg lariat from EGM. He makes the cover. But Butcher gets his shoulder up at two and a half.
EGM brings Butcher back to his feet and goes for an irish whip. But Butcher reverses, sending the luchador into the corner. He sizes up EGM before charging across the ring. But before Butcher can land his attack, EGM steps out of the corner and catches him. EGM sets him up for an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles as the crowd cheers with anticipation. Sensing that the end is near, Butcher panics. He quickly nails EGM with a series of elbows to the head. Once the hold is broken, he purposely knees EGM below the belt. The ref sees this and quickly calls for the bell.
As the bell is called, EGM holds himself as he slowly drops to his knees. The crowd counters to boos as Butcher stands tall after his “victory”

Jessie Pederson: LDFC fans, here is your new Carolina Cup holder, EMILY CARTER!
As the guitar strums at the beginning of "Come On", the audience turns their attention to the entrance way. When the drums kick in, Emily Carter steps through the curtain to a positive reaction from the crowd. Carter smiles before pointing to various fans in the crowd. She then makes her way down to the ring while holding up her newly won Carolina Cup over her head. She makes her way around ringside, slapping hands with the fans along the way. She even lets some of the fans touch the Carolina Cup. After making her way around the ring, Emily climbs up onto the apron and enters the ring. Jessie heads over to Emily and congratulates her on the win before handing over the mic. Once the music dies down, Emily’s taken aback by the cheers and whistling from the crowd.
Emily Carter: You guys are awesome!
(The Winston-Salem crowd collectively cheers. They then break out into an “Emily!” chant, which makes a tear roll down Emily’s cheek. She wipes the tear away before continuing…)
Emily Carter: Thank you guys so much! I just wanted to come out and here and say thank you for always supporting me and always standing by me. Seven months ago, this was nothing more than a dream. All I wanted was just a shot at trying to make something of myself in an LDFC ring, you know? When I went to that LDFC tryout camp back in June, I knew I had to give it my best effort if I wanted to make it here. But I saw all those other guys and girls that were in that camp. I wasn’t as big as them or as fast as them. I couldn’t fly around the ring like they could. I couldn’t talk on the mic like they could. But you know what? I don’t let that intimidate me. I didn’t let it get me down. All it did was motivate me to give it my best.
And I did!
(The crowd applauds while Emily nods.)
Emily Carter: The road to getting here hasn’t been easy. I’ve had more than my fair share of trouble along the way. There have been people who’ve tried to stop my progress here, both in and outside of the ring. But no matter what they threw at me, no matter how much they wanted to keep my down, I continued to move forward!
(Another round of cheers is heard.)
Emily Carter: This Carolina Cup means so much to me. It’s the first trophy I’ve ever won in wrestling. It’s the only thing right now that I can call my own. But this Cup is so much bigger than me. Winning this Cup wasn’t just for me. It was for my friends, Donnie Cross and Bree Nelson.
(The crowd cheers at the mention of two LDFC originals.)
Emily Carter: I know they’re not here in Lion’s Den right now. But every time I come out here into this ring, whether it’s in Greensboro, Gibsonville or right here in Winston-Salem!
Emily Carter: You guys are always with me. We’ve been through it all and I just want to say that I love you guys more than you could ever know. When the time is right, you guys will be back here on Pride and you’ll be better than ever. I just know it.
(The crowd cheers while Emily kisses her fingers before pointing to the camera and then holding her hand over her heart.)
Emily Carter: Jensen Banks.
(A “Bank Shot City” chant starts up, which causes Emily to smirk.)
Emily Carter: This one is for you as well. We were the first survivors of an LDFC tryout camp. I’d like to think that we’ve both come along way since that camp. We both had a lot of expectations placed on us, given who our siblings are. But we never let those expectations rattle us. Given the things that our siblings have done in this sport, we may not ever reach their level. But that’s not gonna stop us from trying! Thank you for being such a great friend and sticking by me, Donnie and Bree. You have no idea how much that means. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
(Another round of cheers is heard. Meanwhile, Emily gives a wink at the camera.)
Emily Carter: This is for people like Mercy, Becky, and all the great talent in the back. This is to show them that you don’t have to cheat to get ahead! You can actually get ahead by doing things the right way!
(More cheers are heard.)
Emily Carter: This is for my friend, Sydney Christensen.
(A “Sydney” chant breaks out.)
Emily Carter: … the woman that should’ve been the first Carolina Cup holder! This one is for you, Syd. I dunno what you’re gonna do now that Revo is closed. But I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I wouldn’t mind seeing you in LDFC! Am I right?
(The crowd breaks out into a “Yes” chant.)
Emily Carter: Last but not least, this one is for you guys. I couldn’t have done this without you all. So this is my gift to you. Hopefully you guys can now have a Carolina Cup holder that you can actually be proud of. Thank you!
Emily’s theme music starts up again as the new Carolina Cup holder circles the ring with her trophy held high. After exiting the ring, Emily makes her way up the aisle and high fives fans along the way.

The match starts with Becky and Jason Bronco circling the ring, each one trying to rally the crowd behind them. As they lock up collar and elbow, Bronco manages to overpower his opponent, pushing the smaller Becky against the ropes. An Irish whip follows after the break and Becky gets taken down by a shoulder block. Bronco criss crosses, leaping over Becky before she leap frogs over him, all before Becky gets the upper hand with a dropkick!
She stays on the offensive, firing off some shoot kicks to the chest as she backs Jason into the corner. As she goes for the Irish whip, however, Bronco reverses and sends the youngster across the ring. As he follows her in, Becky vaults up on the top turnbuckle, catching her opponent with a headscissors takedown. A pin attempt earned Becky a two count.
The match ticks into the fourth minute as Bronco gets back to his feet, only to get caught by a bulldog from behind. With her opponent down on the mat, Becky went up top. But before she could get to the top turnbuckle, her opponent was back on his feet. Thinking quickly, Becky performed a cross body block … only for Bronco to roll through and back to his feet. He drops side first across the knee before falling forward, slamming her into the mat. A pin attempt gets Bronco a two count.
Bronco remains in control, wearing his opponent down with several of his power moves – a German suplex, a half and half suplex, all before delivering a brainbuster. Another pin attempt gets Bronco a two count before Becky kicks out, much to the surprise of her opponent.
As the match enters its ninth minute, Becky begins her fight back. She counters an Irish whip, coming back with a wheelbarrow arm drag that catches Jason Bronco by surprise. As he runs back at her, Becky hits a sloppy looking belly-to-belly suplex. Bronco gets back to his feet again, only to stagger into a Gimme An S… driving him face first into the mat. Becky went up top again, this time hitting the Basket Toss before getting a three count.

First there's an uncomfortable close up of Skylar Cloud's smiling face. Then, a pan out reveals the shot was of the gaudy spinner accessory she's blinged out her custom Old North Title with. As a full shot reveals Skylar standing there wearing the belt, and a smile that's eerily similar to the one on the spinner, she twirls said spinner with her finger.
Skylar Cloud: Beautiful, isn't it?
She nods in agreement with herself.
Skylar Cloud: Inspirational even! Now Shinjooki, I know I told you to watch me last show to learn something. And I hope you did learn something about bravery, as I stood tall and defended my Old North Championship despite being thrown off my game by Helen's vicious display of domestic violence earlier in the night!
Skylar Cloud: Still though, because of those extenuating circumstances I know I can do better! So I want you to watch, as I beat this spotlight stealing little Credo bugger, and do it with grace, flair, and panache! Sort of like you did last show, but sooo much more breathtaking! And speaking of him trying to steal my spotlight ...
A pause lingers in the air before she composes herself.
Skylar Cloud: ... that brings me to something else. It's the last show of 2015, and I want to talk about my New Year's Resolutions! None of that New Year, New Me silliness, I'm already on the path to greatness. But this is me giving a sneak preview of the types of things my Skylar Systemic will help me achieve ... first!
She holds her thumb out.
Skylar Cloud: I defend this title over, and over, and over! Second!
Cloud continues using her fingers to help count her goals.
Skylar Cloud: I in turn make this title so prestigious that it can close episodes of Pride if it needs to! So prestigious that when I've moved on to my next great cause, people will wax nostalgic about when it was more than a secondary title! Then, I'll continue my dominance and win the other belt. And when I do ...
She takes a moment for dramatic effect.
Skylar Cloud: ... not only will I not relinquish my Old North one, but that belt will also spin. Then, and only when I've done that, will I have put myself in such a foolproof position where nobody can even dream of trying to steal my spotlight again! And sure, I'll be the one winning all the matches, but all you little scamps in the Lion's Den will be the real winners there! So Shinjooki, everyone back there you watch close, and remember ... to Reach for the Skylar!
With that bold, if not delusional proclamation finished, we cut back to ringside.

The match starts with Othello parading around the ring, mocking his opponent’s outwards appearance. The douchey looking sweatband around the head, the taped wrists, the single elbow pad – little does he know that Mason is beautiful on the inside. Maybe, kind of. The fans don’t appreciate the mocking, however, and cheer loudly as THE MASON! Takes the fight to Othello with a running forearm strike! The Briton goes down, but gets back up as Mannion backs him into the corner with some stinging knife edge chops. An Irish whip sends Othello from pillar to post before Mason follows him in with a running leg lariat, and the first pin attempt gets Mason a two count.
The match enters the third minute as Mason remains in control. He doubles Othello over with a toe kick before hitting the ropes, coming back with a running knee lift – but Othello moves out of the way. He runs against the ropes for some momentum, looking for a clothesline, but THE MASON! Drills him with a stalling snap spinebuster!
Othello rolls out of the ring to try and escape, but that only encourages the crowd to cheer for Mason as he gives chase. He turns the corner and catches up with Othello, taking the pompous Briton down with a lariat! Mason takes the match back into the ring, however, rolling Othello back in under the bottom rope. He climbs back up onto the apron himself, waiting for his opponent to get back to his feet before Mason leaps up with a springboard missile dropkick to the back. Othello stumbles forward, landing throat first across the middle rope as Mannion catches him with a leapfrog body guillotine. Othello staggers away from that, heading towards the middle of the ring as Mason is up and running against the ropes; he returns with a huge spear, nearly knocking Othello out of his boots. And this match ends in tragedy for Othello as he’s covered for the three count.
Winner by Pinfall: Mason Mannion

Cameras open in a back locker room, focused on a gear bag with the #BRUTAL logo stitched into the side. The camera pans up to show Becky in jeans, buttoning her shirt as the crowd roars. There’s a quick knock on the door and it opens, Mason Mannion walking in all-smiles.
Mason Mannion: Yooooo… check this… I’m gonna give you like, eight seconds, uninterrupted, to tell me how amazing that was.
For emphasis, Mason raises a hand into frame, already clutching a stopwatch. Still grinning ear-to-ear, he mouths “go” as he begins the timer.
Becky: You mean myyy victory? I know, riiiiiiiiight?
She smiles a little giddily as she walks over to him, holding up her hand for a high five.
Becky: Brute Camp cleaned house tonight, huh?
Mason high-fives her, though seems slightly agitated as he lowers the watch back into his pocket.
Mason Mannion: We did what we should’ve been doing, Beck! You must’ve been watching tape. Tape of… the Mason. You been watchin’ tape, Beck?
Becky rolls her eyes, reaching over to the bench to grab a clean towel and throws it at her training partner.
Becky: You know, we should talk to somebody about getting in the ring together. Liiiiike, as partners. Wouldn’t that be cool?
Mason Mannion’s entire expression seems to change. His eyes light up as he looks toward Becky, giving her a quick, not-very-subtle glance from her head to her toes.
Mason Mannion: That would… be…
He blinks. Hard.
She smiles, letting out a giddy yelp and shaking her hands.
Becky: Get changed, let’s go talk to somebodyyy!
Without waiting for another word, she rushes out of the room to find someone, leaving Mason standing there, holding the towel, juggling it from hand-to-hand for a second. He takes a long, deep breath and turns, sitting on the bench, looking up toward the open door as we fade away.

Tony Allen: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California! She is the Old North Champion … SKYLAR CLOUD!
Lights start strobing as Skylar Cloud makes her way out through the curtain to a negative reception from the fans in attendance. She looks around, surveying the crowd before beginning her trek to the ring. Keeping a brisk but controlled pace, she zigs and zags, taking her time to forcibly high five as many unwilling fans as possible. She slides under the bottom rope once she reaches the ring, then pops up to her feet. After climbing the nearest turnbuckle, playing to the fans, she performs a backflip and lands on her feet. She then takes her corner to await the start of the match.
Geoff Penzer: A non-title match tonight for Skylar Cloud, and after her recent victories in the battle royal and over Kellen Klein, you have to imagine she’s got some confidence going into this match tonight. Her opponent is on his second match here in LDFC, and this could be a tremendous opportunity for Credo.
Tony Allen: And her opponent, hailing from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, weighing in at 200 pounds … CREDO!
“Heavy” by The Glorious Sons hits, signaling Credo to make his appearance from backstage. He emerges with a confident yet focused look on his face, slowly staggering towards the ring. His eyes never move from the ring except to make contact with some fans along the way. He slides up under the bottom ropes and crawls to the center of the ring, remaining on his knees with his face pressed to the mat to say a prayer for a few moments before leaping to his feet and letting out an audible shout: “Oooooo-Eeeeee!”
The bell sounds to start the match as both competitors circle the ring momentarily. The fans here at Ziggy’s showing their disdain for the Old North Champion as they boo and jeer her mercilessly; the chants for newcomer, Credo, are quiet by comparison, but noticeable. As they lock up collar and elbow, Credo manages to overpower his opponent and he pushes Skylar back into a corner. The referee calls for a break, which he gets, but as Credo goes to follow up, Skylar leans through the middle rope. Again, the referee calls for a break, ordering Credo back a few steps as Cloud emerges from the corner unscathed.
Geoff Penzer: A second generation wrestler, Credo knows all about life in the ring. But I don’t know if he’s come across anyone like Skylar Cloud so far in his career.
As they lock up collar and elbow again, Skylar manages to gain the upper hand, going behind with a rear waist lock. But Credo fires off some back elbows to the face, rocking the champion where she stands, before countering with a rear waistlock of his own. That soon turns into an inverted hurricanrana sending Skylar backwards across the ring! She pops up to her feet near the ropes, albeit dazed, as Credo runs in with a dropkick!
Skylar falls through the ropes and out onto the apron. Credo stands back up on the inside of the ring, and springboards off the perpendicular rope for a triangle dropkick, knocking Skylar Cloud off the apron and crashing into the guard rail. The crowd are cheering him on as the Mexican claps his hands together in the ring. He’s waiting, biding his time for Skylar to get back to her feet before he runs against the far ropes; on the outside Cloud is just coming too, turning towards the ring in time to see Credo launching himself over the top rope with a corkscrew plancha!
Geoff Penzer: Credo going airborne early on here. And the fans love it!
They’re on their feet after the luchador antics, and Credo is showing his appreciation as he forces himself back to his feet. He rolls Skylar back into the ring and follows her in as he goes for the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Skylar kicks out.
Undeterred, Credo lifts his opponent back to her feet and delivers a snap suplex near the ropes. He rolls out onto the apron, standing up on the outside of the ropes before slingshotting into the ring with a guillotine leg drop – NO! Skylar rolls out of the way and Credo hits nothing but mat. Cloud heads onto the apron herself, pulling herself back to her feet as Credo stands up, holding his backside in pain. He swings with a clothesline, but Skylar ducks under the arm and counters with a thrusting shoulder to the midsection. Credo is doubled over as Cloud grabs him and delivers a flurry of knee strikes to the face. After the fifth one, she releases her grip and lets Credo drop into a rope hung position. Skylar takes a small run up and delivers a scissor kick to the back of the head!
Geoff Penzer: An aggressive response from the Old North Champion there.
Skylar sits on the apron as she takes a moment to tell the fans to Reach for the Skylar, but they only respond with more boos. Meanwhile, Credo is nursing the back of his head in the ring; he’s crawling towards the center of the ring as Skylar re-enters the squared circle. Credo turns to face his opponent in time to be met by a jumping toe kick combo; the fifth shot leaving him doubled over in the center of the ring before Cloud bounces off the ropes, coming back with a jumping knee strike to the head. She makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Credo kicks out.
Cloud brings her opponent back up to a seated position after the near fall, and delivers a vicious soccer kick to the spine. Credo yells out in pain before he’s dragged back to his feet and sent towards the corner with an Irish whip. Skylar follows him in with a cartwheel into a high kick, causing Credo to slump down to a seated position again. The Old North Champion approaches with a spring in her step before she places her boot down across the throat of her opponent.
The choke is broken as the referee admonishes Skylar Cloud for getting near the five count. The fans continue to boo her as Skylar tells the referee about how he needs some Positive Mental Skylarity … but the boos turns to cheers as the fans see Credo rising in the corner; he charges out and catches Skylar with a headscissors takedown!
Geoff Penzer: Impressive speed by Credo there, he even took Skylar Cloud by surprise!
Both competitors scramble back to their feet as Skylar lunges forward with a clothesline. It’s easily ducked, however, as Credo goes under the arm and counters with a Pele kick! A cheer from the crowd as they watch Skylar’s eyes roll into the back of her head. She slumps to her knees, then falls face first to the mat … but Credo is taking his time to get back up and capitalize on the advantage. After a few seconds of peace, both competitors reach their vertical bases once more. Credo seizes the opportunity and sends his opponent against the ropes with an Irish whip. As Skylar returns she’s caught by a Japanese arm drag, but she pops right back to her feet. She runs at Credo again, only to be caught by another Japanese arm drag. This time Skylar gets to her feet, facing out towards the crowd, as she staggers backwards into the waiting arms of a bridging German suplex.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NOOO!
The fans can’t believe it either, but Skylar Cloud kicks out in the nick of time. Credo looks towards the official, but the referee assures him it was only two. Undeterred, he lifts Skylar back up and into a body slam position, before moving towards the corner. The Old North Champion finds herself precariously placed in a tree of woe position and the fans are cheering once more. Credo stomps at the exposed midsection a couple of times before he climbs up to the top turnbuckle in the same corner,
Credo leaps off with his patented Poison Control, driving both feet down across the midsection of Skylar Cloud as the Old North Champion slumps to the mat in pain. A hook of the leg and Credo makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NOO!
Geoff Penzer: Credo is giving this match everything he has, but Skylar Cloud showing great resilience to survive. Oh, where is she going now?
Cloud rolls out of the ring after the near fall, trying to catch her breath, presumably. The fans nearby boo her as, inside the ring, Credo is down on one knee, staring out at his opponent. Their eyes meet and Cloud moves away further, circling the ring until she sees Credo running towards her; he fakes a dive, feinting a kick through the middle ropes instead as Skylar gets the hell out of dodge.
Credo slides out after her, chasing the Old North Champion around the ring as Skylar rolls back into the ring. Credo follows her in, and gets caught by a driving elbow to the back of the head. And another. Credo is holding the back of his head in pain as Skylar stands upright, and she stomps a couple more times for good measure before Credo manages to battle back to his feet. Skylar catches him with a toe kick to the midsection before going for the Irish whip, only to see Credo manage to reverse it. He sends the Old North Champion towards the corner and follows her in – NO! Cloud drives a back elbow up into his face as Credo is staggered. Cloud pushes herself up onto the middle rope, though, reaching out to grab her opponent by the head before delivering an inverted tornado DDT! And she makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Credo kicks out.
Skylar looks almost frustrated after that one, but pushes herself back to her feet again as her opponent crawls towards the ropes. She grabs him by the head and brings Credo in close for a knee lift to the midsection before a spinning back sweep kick takes Credo down again. Followed by a standing moonsault from Skylar Cloud and she goes for another cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO!
Geoff Penzer: And now Credo won’t quit. Skylar Cloud in firm control at the moment, but she’s having a real problem in keeping her opponent down.
The fans are beginning to rally behind Credo again as he’s lifted up and doubled over with a spinning back kick to the gut. Skylar heads to the apron before springboarding back into the ring for the mushroom stomp – NO! Credo pops up with a superkick to counter! The crowd come to life as Skylar Cloud collapses to the mat and Credo…
Geoff Penzer: What a counter, and if he can make the cover here Credo may just win this one!
…Credo crawls, and drapes an arm across the chest.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NOOOO!
The crowd gasp in disbelief as Skylar gets the shoulder up. Credo sits up in shock, but the referee holds up two fingers again to signify a kick out. The Mexican runs his hands over his face before forcing himself back to a vertical base. Cloud is using the ropes to get back to her feet as Credo lies in wait for her. She staggers backwards towards the center of the ring as Credo grabs her from behind with a rear waist lock – and Skylar panics! She grabs the referee by the shirt collar in distress, drawing the official’s attention away from her leg as it swings backwards into Credo’s groin! The Mexican is doubled over in pain as Cloud releases her grip on the official, and she leaps up with a corkscrew roundhouse kick!
Geoff Penzer: The Anaconda Vise connects!
And Skylar hooks both legs.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE!!!
Tony Allen: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, SKYLAR CLOUD!
“Titanium” starts playing throughout the arena as the referee raises Skylar Cloud’s arm in victory, but the fans aren’t happy about the result.
Geoff Penzer: A cheap victory for the Old North Champion; Credo had her almost dead to rights, and she delivered a low blow before hitting the Anaconda Vise. Credo has to feel hard done by after an admirable performance.
Cloud grabs up her title belt and heads backstage before Credo can come to, high fiving as many fans as she can on the way back up, whether they want to or not.

The cameras follow Heather Skinner, who happens to be dressed as Princess Leia from Star Wars: A New Hope right down to the side buns. She turns a corner to see an uncharacteristically angst ridden Kellen Klein dressed as Luke Skywalker. He seems to be deep in thought as if he were contemplating something.
Heather: What is is the matter, pumpkin? I thought you were excited for doing a bit of cosplay. After the events of the last month or so, I thought it would be nice to have some fun again. You know, go back to having a party in the ring rather than getting worked up over some title.
Kellen Klein: A worthless title at that. As long as Skylar is champion, there is no reason to chase after it; it is already a joke. There was an opportunity to change that, but Mercy Williams couldn't not be the center of attention again.
Heather: Then why did you give her attention.
Kellen Klein: I DON'T FUCKING KNOW! It was incredibly stupid on my part because I KNEW she would do it. There is something about her odd-das-it-tee ..odditasity ...her oddity that I can't stand. But yeah, I thought that dressing up and having good times with the Douche would make me feel better about losing a match that I, again put twice the effort in and, AGAIN, out did my opponent in every way possible.
Heather: Then why aren't you enjoying this?
Kellen shakes his head.
Kellen Klein: Can't you see that I am trying to? I am trying to be the old me that doesn't have a damn care in the world. I love going out there and fighting and living it up in the live atmosphere, but things are different now. I don't feel the way I used to. I am trying to be a nice guy. I am trying to respect the fact that women are competing in the same ring as men ...but people like Mercy Williams and Skylar Cloud are making it impossible to take them seriously. Yeah, I said some fucked up things about Cloud, but could you blame me? What I said was out of line? What she did was out of line. She reinforced every true stereotype about her gender and did it again at the last Pride. How did anything her or Mercy do that night prove my statements wrong? They are doing a great job in convincing me that the only way a woman can be a champion is by manipulating the system and stacking the odds against people who have the determination and skill to be at the top of this business. Whoever is in charge of this joint is just letting it happen. I bet you that instead of putting me in a match with Skylar where there is little interference, that they will just gloss over me so they can give Shin-Shin the shot that he only earned because he was the first to call dibs. Can you not see how I am finding it hard to celebrate right about now?
Heather sits on his lap and begins stroking his hair.
Heather: Well, maybe we can roleplay a little bit to make you feel better since we are already in costume.
Kellen Klein: Yeah?
Heather: I can be the captured princess and you can be my long lost brother, but we don't know we are brother and sister ...so we keep kissing for no reason until some old muppet tells you that we ARE brother and sister. Then we fuck!
Kellen Klein: That is ...inappropriately hot!
Suddenly, a hoarse voice yells from behind them.
Abby: NO! NO! NO! NO!
Both Heather and Kellen look to the doorway to see Abby with a black robe over her head for no reason whatsoever. She continues to speak in an almost demonic voice.
Abby: You need to give yourself over to the dank side!
Kellen Klein: Abby, what is up with your voice ...and the bath robe?
Abby: I just had some killer Jedi Kush and I don't know what is up, down, or why my entire body is straight vibrating right now. But you cannot forget about Mercy Williams and her PITIFUL BAND of fans.
Kellen Klein: Mercy is Mercy. She is just another attention whore who wants to be the center of some man's universe. I get what she is doing and why she is doing it. After coming into the company, trying to be everything but a believable woman, you get bested by the same guy twice, you want to prove yourself to that man. Unfortunately, in the process, she is villainizing herself. In the frenzy of proving herself, she helped a joke of a champion retain her title. Giving her what she wants from me feels silly. I proved my point time and again.
With the robe over her head, Abby shakes her head.
Abby: Let me tell you a story about Darth Plagius...
Kellen Klein: Who?
Abby: I mean let me tell you what I see. I see a point that has not been proven. As I said before, if you proved your point, she would have given up already and realized that she was a waste of talent. But now you have even the commentary committing revisionist history when speaking of her. Suddenly, she did well in the battle royal. No, she didn't. By her being allowed to keep her spirits, that lets everyone else over-validate her and makes your look weak ...if losing to Sklar twice was not enough. I am afraid that the fans defenses will be fully operational by the time you finally get to her.
Kellen, still dressed as Luke Skywalker, thinks this over for a few seconds.
Kellen Klein: I should be over this by now. It is her who is not dropping this whole thing. Then, she goes out says that I am constantly name dropping her. Yes, that is what you did when you best someone. You let the world know that they are beneath you. It isn't because I wanted to keep this moving on. The only reason it REMAINED a thing is because she was so caught up in her body image that she thought my issues was about that; because she could not handle the truth that she is a horrible example of what a woman truly is. She is quite literally, an ignorant slut. But here we are, still discussing Mercy Williams because she could not accept her own shortcomings. The more I ignore her, the more it seems that everyone wants to push me toward her; the more people want to force me to her level. And look what it is doing? She is using what should be a non-issue to move her flat ass up the card. Mercy is getting famous off of me and my own hard work; hell, she is doing what women do best and victimizing herself over it. Yes, the woman who helped Skylar Cloud become champion is the victim here.
Abby taps her fingers together.
Abby: Good, good. Let the hate flow through you.
Kellen Klein: Yeah, but still ...giving her what she wants from me is giving into her silly little game.

The match begins with both men charging towards the center of the ring and trading shots. The crowd cheers as Banks and Watts continue to go blow for blow. But the cheers turn to boos as Watts nails Banks with a knee to the midsection, doubling him over. He then knocks Banks down to the canvas after a hard clubbing shot to the back of the neck. Banks gets up on all fours, but Watts delivers a hard stomp to the back. Banks gets back up on all fours, but Watts nails him with a punt kick to the ribs, knocking him over onto his back. From there, Watts mounts himself on top of Banks. The crowd boos as he hammers down with rights and lefts. Banks tries to cover up. But some of the blows still penetrate.
Shortly after the one minute mark, Watts yanks up Banks and tosses him into the corner. After Banks’ back collides with the turnbuckles, Watts runs over and connects with a clothesline, knocking him down. He then reaches down, grabs Banks by the hair and slowly pulls him back up into the corner. From there, Watts unleashes a series of alternating clubbing forearms to the head. Again, Banks covers up. This time, he does a better job of blocking the blows. While Banks is covered up, the ref steps in and moves Watts back. But Watts quickly shoves the ref out of his way and marches back into the corner.
It’s here that Banks finally catches a break with a kick to the gut. He then takes Watts, pushes him into the corner and unleashes a series of knife edge chops. He takes Watts and goes for the irish whip. But Watts reverses, sending Banks into the opposite corner. Watts then comes barreling across the ring. he launches himself into the corner for a body avalanche. But Banks moves out of the way, causing Watts to crash into the corner. As Watts stumbles back, Banks rolls him up with a school boy. But Watts kicks out at two.
Both men scramble to get up to their feet. But Banks gets to a vertical base first. While Watts is on his knees, Banks throws out a quick Bank Shot. But Watts swats his foot down and follows up with a punch to the midsection.
Around the four minute mark, Watts nails Banks with a headbutt, sending his opponent stumbling into the ropes. After going over and grabbing Banks, Watts sends him for the ride across the ring. When Banks comes back, Watts looks to take his head off with a lariat. But Banks ducks and runs into the opposite set of ropes. When Watts turns around, he turns into a clothesline. But it only stumbles him back, so Banks runs back into the ropes. When he returns, he connects with another clothesline. But again, Watts s only knocked further across the ring. While Watts tries to shake off the blow, Banks returns to the ropes. When Banks comes back, he hurls himself at Watts, sending them both over the top rope and to the floor with a clothesline.
After Banks rolls back into the ring, he gets up on all fours and watches for Watts. Once Watts slowly makes his way back up to his feet, Banks pops up and runs into the ropes. When he returns, he backflips over the top rope and knocks Watts down with a Fosbury Flop. He then rolls Watts back into the ring, rolls himself back in and makes the cover. But Watts gets his shoulder up.
Past the seven minute mark, Banks takes Watts and goes for a vertical suplex. But Watts reverses with a suplex of his own. He rolls over into a lateral press for a two count. The Mid American Nightmare takes Banks and whips him into the far ropes. When Banks returns, Watts hurls himself at him with a violent cross body block. He then crawls back over and makes the cover. But Banks gets his shoulder up at two.
As Watts picks up Banks, Banks begins to fire off rights and lefts to the body. But a throat thrust stops the comeback. Watts reaches down, grabs Banks by the wrist and pulls him back up to his feet. He throws out a short-arm lariat. But Banks ducks and counters with a Blue Thunder Bomb to a loud roar from the crowd. The ref slides over to make to make the count. He gets One! He gets Two! He gets Thre-NO! Watts gets his shoulder up at two and three quarters.
Banks takes Watts and goes for an irish whip. But Watts reverses and sends Banks into the ropes. When Banks returns, Watts goes for a back body drop. But Banks counters with a knee lift and knocks him down with a Rolling Kesagiri Chop. Watts is brought back to his feet, only to be brought back down by a standing Shinarui. Banks then waits in the corner and waits impatiently for Watts to return to his feet. once Watts finally returns to a vertical base and turns around, Banks comes out of the corner and clocks him with the Bank Shot to an explosion of cheers. The impact from the move reverberates throughout the venue as Watts falls onto his back. Banks then drops down and makes the cover for the One, Two, Three!
Winner by Pinfall: Jensen Banks
After the match, Banks walks up to the camera and holds up two fingers with his left hand and then one finger with his right. As he backs away from the camera, he can be seen mouthing “Bank Shot City” before exiting the ring.

Moments before Mercy’s match against Prince MacRear, Jessie Pederson is standing by backstage with Mercy William’s. Mercy looks excitable, standing with her hands on her hips taking a deep breathe to calm her nerves.
Jessie Pederson: I am here with Mercy Williams who is ready to compete against the returning Prince MacRear in a matter of moments. Mercy you requested this interview so foremost what has been on your mind since the last Pride?
Mercy Williams: A lot.
Mercy nervously laughed and smiled with her short answer.
Mercy Williams: We are in the midst of the holiday season and I’m back here in LDFC after spending some time away with my family back in Sydney, Australia. The Jetlag is still lingering but that won’t stop my excitement of wrestling against a unique character like Prince MacRear. I’ve come to an understanding that MacRear is making his long-awaited return to LDFC and wants to make that big impact to exhibit himself as he always fashionably does. When it comes down to it, I might be the one to rain on his parade.
Jessie Pederson: Going into this match are you a little bit concerned about Kellen Klein becoming a factor after what happened at the last Pride and with what was said earlier in the night?”
Mercy Williams: I would be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned about Kellen. But let me plead my case - at the last Pride, I didn’t exactly do anything. Was it a crime for me to get a closer look of a match I was interested in? I’m a big fan of Skylar Cloud, I think she’s such a fantastic champion. Honestly I wasn’t planning on doing anything, I was avoiding the camera. But I misjudged my actions and may have changed the outcome of a match by my appearance. It really came down to Kellen’s reaction. He saw me and took the eye of the ball… and most importantly I didn’t even need to show my boobs to cause that distraction.
Mercy giggled a little bit looking down at her ample chest for a moment and then shrugging her shoulders. After a moment, Mercy’s demure changed back to serious.
Mercy Williams: I can see why he would be upset since it appears that I cost him the Old North Championship. I take full responsibility of my actions and if he decides to come between my match against MacRear - I’ll be ready. He can bring along those plastics if he wants, since neither girls can’t stop yapping about me. But you know, I’d rather not lose focus and instead score my third consecutive win against MacRear.
Jessie Pederson: Good luck, Mercy
Mercy nodded her head appreciating the luck before proceeding towards gorilla position.

The match starts with MacRear controlling the pace with a side headlock. After several attempts at an escape, Mercy finally shoves MacRear off of her and into the ropes. When MacRear returns, Mercy throws him down with an arm drag. MacRear gets back to his feet, but Mercy brings him down with another arm drag. After MacRear returns to a vertical base, Mercy hooks his left arm, spins around his back and then brings him down with an overflow arm drag. MacRear quickly rolls to the outside before slapping the apron. The Sultan of Selfies is none too pleased that Mercy just got the better of him.
After continuing to stall with a lap around the ring, MacRear finally gets on the apron and reenters the ring. The two lock up. But MacRear’s able to move Mercy into the corner. The ref starts a five count. Just before he reaches five, both competitors make a clean break… until MacRear rakes Mercy across the eyes. He takes advantage of the opening by mudhold stomping Mercy down in the corner. While Mercy’s seated in the corner, MacRear steps back towards the center of the ring, then runs forward and hurls himself hip-first at her face. But Mercy moves out of the way, sending MacRear’s hip colliding with the turnbuckles. While he stumbles out of the corner, the crowd cheers as Mercy brings him down with a bulldog for a two count.
At the four minute mark, Mercy whips MacRear into the ropes. When he returns, Mercy sets up for a back body drop. But MacRear counters by grabbing her hair with both hands and throwing her down with a mat slam. The crowd boos as the back of Mercy’s head bounces off the canvas. MacRear then quickly makes the lateral press for a two count. He makes another lateral press. But Mercy kicks out at two again.
MacRear brings Mercy into the corner, where he slams her face first into the top turnbuckle. He delivers a series of corner-based attacks before sending her into the opposite corner. MacRear charges across the ring. But Mercy blocks him with an elbow to the face. While MacRear staggers back, Mercy runs at him from out of the corner. But MacRear knocks her down with a dropkick for two. A scoop slam followed by a leg drop get two. Another lateral press gets two.
Seven minutes in and MacRear is still in control. After a snapmare followed by a dropkick to the head, MacRear makes another cover. But Mercy kicks out at two. He then takes Mercy and whips her into the far ropes. When she returns, MacRear sets up for a back body drop. But Mercy counters with a sunset flip for a two count. Both grapplers scramble to get back to their feet. After they both get to their feet at the same time, Mercy quickly rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Both competitors reach their feet at the same time. But this time, it’s MacRear who gains the advantage after knocking Mercy down with a clothesline. A russian leg sweep, followed by a spinning neckbreaker get a two count.
MacRear sits up Mercy and plays her in a rear chinlock. The ref asks if she wants to give up, but Mercy refuses to quit. So MacRear pulls back, keeping the hold applied. The ref continues to ask Mercy if she wants to give up. But despite the pain, Mercy continues to decline. After hearing the crowd chanting her name, Mercy begins to feed off the energy they’re giving her. She slowly returns to a vertical base. After four elbows double MacRear over, Mercy grabs him by the waits and delivers a gutwrench suplex. The move garners cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover, but MacRear gets his shoulder up at two.
At the ten minute mark, Mercy goes for an irish whip. But MacRear reverses and sends Mercy into the ropes. When Mercy returns, MacRear goes for a running thump. But Mercy ducks and slides underneath it. After MacRear lands on his feet, he runs over at Mercy. But Mercy knocks him down with a clothesline. MacRear gets back up, but Mercy knocks him back down with another clothesline. When MacRear gets back up, Mercy kicks him in the midsection and goes for a vertical suplex. But MacRear blocks it. He then goes for a vertical suplex of his own. But Mercy slips down from behind. She grabs MacRear and begins placing him in a half nelson choke. But before she can get the hold fully locked in, MacRear lifts her up across his back, runs backwards and squashing her in the corner. After MacRear staggers away from the ropes, he turns and shoots Mercy a nasty look. He then charges into the corner. But Mercy sends spit flying out of his mouth after a hard European Uppercut. While MacRear staggers back, Mercy comes out of the corner and goes after him. But MacRear drops her to one knee with a basement dropkick. He follows up with the Uglified (Hurricanrana Driver), sending her head-first onto the canvas.
MacRear slowly picks up Mercy, lifts her up across his shoulders and delivers Damaged Goods (Go To Sleep) for the One, Two, Three!

Mercy Williams is in the middle of the ring, but is immediately interrupted by the John Williams amazing 'Imperial March' as it hits the P.A system. Suddenly, stormtroopers come out from behind the curtain and line up single file on each side. After a few seconds, a man dressed as Darth Vader comes out from behind the curtain. Mercy Williams looks on this figure in the Vader mask looks on.
Geoff Penzer: It look like someone has recently seen Star Wars, but why is he here interrupting Mercy Williams?
Vader stops at the edge of the stage and looks at Mercy Williams. After a few seconds, he pulls off the mask to reveal that Kellen Klein has fully given himself over to the Dark Side of the Force. Mercy looks as if she is going to leave the ring to confront him ...but before she could, Heather, still dressed as Princess Leia from A New Hope, slides into the ring and starts battering Williams.
Geoff Penzer: IT'S A TRAP!
Mercy quickly fights off the blonde, tossing her into the corner, but is speared down by Abby who is still in her fancy bathrobe that resembles something Emperor Palpatine would wear. Before Mercy could get up, Abby kicks her in the ribs as Kellen is still on the stage, laughing at his rival's misfortune. Mercy attempts to get back up, but Abby waves her hands at her as if she was going to hit her with force lighting. High as fuck, Abby is shocked when nothing comes out. Mercy is about to attack her when Heather comes up from her and gets arm dragged back down. Mercy turns back to Abby, who finally got her force lightning to work as she pulls a tazer out of her robe and shoots Mercy Williams with it, making her fall to the mat going; only seizing just a little bit.
Geoff Penzer: Wow! That was vile! Kellen Klein's henchwomen just laid a beating on Mercy Williams, but they needed to taze her to do it! And he is finally making his way to the ring now that Mercy has been subdued!
With Mercy on the ground, Kellen enters the ring and looks on with great pleasure as to what his ladies did to her. He moves up to Heather and pulls him against her and begins to make out with her. He shoves her off and rips away her white Princess Leia costume to reveal the incredibly classic Gold Bikini Slave Leia get up ...complete with incredibly long choke chain. Kellen grabs her and begins passionately making out with her, choking her a bit in the process. They stop as he looks down at Mercy Williams who is trying to get back to despite having just been tazed. He looks at Heather and points to Mercy. Heather, just doing as she is commanded, unhooks the chain from her choker and mounts Mercy. She wraps the chain around Mercy's neck, choking her in the process. Mercy Williams wriggles back and forth as Heather looks a bit uncomfortable, but does it anyways. She loosens up, but Kellen commands her to tighten it back up. Heather applies more pressure forcing Mercy to pass out.
Geoff Penzer: This is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen!
With Mercy out cold, Kellen calls Abby to him. He pulls open her Emperor Robe to reveal her usual bikini underneath. He grabs her by the hand and walks her over to Mercy's body. With Mercy underneath the two of them, they begin to wildly make out for a few seconds. He then pulls Heather in and they have themselves a threeway makeout session above Mercy's unmoving carcass. The three of them are going at it so wildly that they fall to the mat. They do not stop even though they are laying on top of Mercy, making her almost an unwilling fourth participant in this. Before this gets any weirder, the scene fades out.

The soft melody of ‘Crimson’ by Morcheeba begins to play throughout the arena as The Crimson Baroness steps out from behind the curtain; her top hat is tipped forward, covering her eyes slightly as she poses, resting both hands on the head of her cane. The crowd immediately begin booing and jeering, letting The Baroness know exactly what they think of her. She begins her slow walk to the ring, shrugging off the hatred with a sense of nonchalance.
Tony Allen: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is tonight’s main event! Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Weighing in at 124 pounds! She is… THE CRIMSON BARONESS!
She climbs up the ring steps, urging the referee to hold the ropes open for her before she steps in under the middle ropes; The Crimson Baroness removes her hat and places it delicately in the corner next to her cane before she waits for the match to begin.
Geoff Penzer: It is main event time here on this latest episode of Pride! The Crimson Baroness has been forced into this match after Emily Carter “Picked Her Poison.” That poison was none other than “Terrific” Terrence Tillman, the current number one contender to the APEX Championship. It wasn’t that long ago when these two were involved in a Six Man Tag. The Crimson Baroness not only low blowed Tillman which led to his team’s loss, but she low blowed him again and then locked him inside that vicious armbar of hers. Tillman claims to have forgiven her for her past transgressions. He can forgive all he wants. I just hope he doesn’t forget. That Crimson Baroness is a tricky one!
As the beginning horn sound that starts “Forever” blasts through the arena, Terrence Tillman runs out to the stage. Running back and forth shouting and waving his arms in the air motioning for the fans to get on their feet. He stops in the center and stretches his arms out to either side shouting “It’s Time” at the top of his lungs. Tillman starts his march to the ring with a smile on his face, slapping hands of the kids in the audience letting out an occasional “Wooo!” or “Yeah baby!”
Tony Allen: And her opponent! From Orlando, Florida Weighing in at 230 pounds! He is “TERRIFIC”... TERRENCE… TILLMAN!
Geoff Penzer: The T-Unit is being represented well tonight by this hot crowd here in Winston-Salem! We are a little under two months away from his encounter with Nest, the current APEX Champion. We all know how close Tillman was to capturing the championship at 3rd Strike. Some would say he had the match won. But Tillman’s got to be careful. The Baroness has dealt out more than her fair share of damage to members of this roster. I wouldn’t put it past her to put Tillman on the shelf and then maneuver her way into that championship match.
Tillman rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and runs to each corner pointing to the fans, clapping his hands, and feeding off the crowd’s reaction.
The bell sounds as Tillman and The Crimson Baroness circle the ring before locking up. The Baroness quickly gains the advantage with a side headlock. But Tillman is able to shove her off of him and into the ropes. When the Baroness comes back, Tillman knocks her down with a shoulder block. He quickly drops down into a lateral press.
ONE! . . The Crimson Baroness kicks out.
Tillman picks up the Baroness and places her in a side headlock. But the Baroness is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock from behind. She then forces his arm up from behind, applying pressure to the shoulder. Tillman can be seen cringing in pain while the Baroness is savoring every moment of seeing Tillman in his current state. But Tillman is able to reverse with a drop toe hold, sending Baroness down to the canvas. He quickly hops down and applies a grounded side headlock. But the Baroness is able to slip out and reverse into another hammerlock. The ref gets down and asks Tillman is he wants to give up. But Triple T refuses to quit. He then gets back to his feet, reaches back, grabs the Baroness with his free arm and throws her down with a snapmare.
Tillman takes off into the ropes as the Baroness gets back to her feet. When Tillman returns, the Baroness leap frogs over him. Tillman then continues to run into the ropes. When Tillman comes back, Baroness stops him with a kick to the midsection. She then quickly grabs Tillman’s left arm and delivers an arm wrench. After applying pressure to the arm, she turns and delivers another arm wrench to boos from the crowd. The Baroness delivers a third arm wrench and goes to follows up with a hook kick. But Tillman reaches up with his free arm and catches her leg. The Baroness hops up and down while Tillman keeps a hold of her leg. She reaches out and takes wild swipes at Tillman. But Triple T easily avoids the blows. He then spins Baroness around. But Baroness uses the momentum to nail him with a spinning back fist, knocking him down to boos from the crowd. The Baroness quickly drops down and makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Tillman kicks out.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman got rocked by that spinning back fist. As much as I’m sure he enjoyed taunting the Baroness, he’s got to quickly take advantage when he’s in the ring with someone as crafty as she is.
The Baroness picks up Tillman and delivers another arm wrench to the left arm. But Tillman quickly rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. He then takes Baroness and whips her into the ropes. When The Baroness comes back, Tillman throws her down with a hip toss. The Baroness returns to her feet, but Tillman returns her to the mat with an arm drag. He quickly applies an armbar as the crowd cheers. The ref asks her if she wants to give up. But The Baroness quickly starts whining and moaning that Tillman pulled her hair. So the ref breaks up the move and scolds Tillman for pulling her hair. But Tillman protests, claiming that he did no such thing. The crowd continues to boo as Baroness gets up and gingerly touches her scalp. She can be seen mouthing “my poor scalp” before pouting.
Geoff Penzer: “My poor scalp” Who is she fooling? The referee, apparently. She can turn on the charm just as quickly as she can turn on the waterworks.
Tillman looks over at Baroness and just shakes his head. After the Baroness tells the ref that she’s “fine,” the two competitors circle the ring. They then inch forward before engaging in a collar & elbow tie up. But Tillman quickly uses his strength advantage to move Baroness into the ropes. From there, the ref gives them both until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Both grapplers make a clean break. But The Baroness turns to the ref and again accuses Tillman of pulling her hair. So the ref goes over to Tillman and scolds him for the illegal tactics. But Tillman stands his ground and continues to deny doing such a thing. When he turns his attention back to the Baroness, she knocks him down with a savate kick. The crowd boos as she makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Tillman kicks out.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman nearly got his block knocked off with that martial arts style kick. Triple T really needs to get it together in there. I know he’s hot over the Baroness playing that ref like a fiddle. But he can’t fall into her traps.
Baroness picks up Tillman, moves him into the corner and delivers a series of shoot kicks to the chest. She then moves him out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Tillman comes back, the Baroness runs forward and nails him with a knee to the midsection. While Triple T’s doubled over, Baroness turns and heads into the ropes. When she comes back, she throws out a scissors kick. But Tillman moves out of the way. He quickly grabs Baroness from behind and locks her in the TTO as the crowd roars with cheers.
Geoff Penzer: This one could be over right here. He’s got the cobra clutch cinched in!
The Crimson Baroness quickly reaches out and grabs the ref by his shirt. But Tillman isn’t about to play that game. So he pulls back, breaking the Baroness away from the ref. But Tillman inadvertently pulls them close to the ropes. So the Baroness quickly reaches over and grabs the top rope. The crowd boos as the ref has no choice but to start a five count.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Tillman reluctantly breaks the hold. He then pushes Baroness’s back before stepping back towards the center of the ring. The frustration is written all over his face. When the Baroness looks back and sees it, she can’t help but to smirk.
Geoff Penzer: Yeah, she’s all in Tillman’s head. She knows it and she’s enjoying every second of it.
Both grapplers circle the ring. They then inch towards each other and motion for a lock up. But the Baroness changes her mind and opts for a kick to the gut. While Tillman’s doubled over, she quickly grabs him by the left arm and brings him down with a rolling cross armbar.
Geoff Penzer: Oh there it is! The Subjection! We’ve seen her injure many LDFC wrestlers with that hold! Will Tillman be next!?
The crowd boos as the Baroness tries to hyperextend Tillman’s arm. But Tillman wisely keeps his hands locked together. So Baroness begins yanking back as she tries to break Tillman’s grip. But Tillman’s able to keep his hands locked. He then rolls over towards the ropes and places his leg across the bottom rope, forcing the ref to start a five count.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
The Baroness reluctantly breaks the hold. Once Tillman gets back to his feet, the Baroness holds up her hand and keeps her thumb and index finger about an inch apart. Tillman rolls his eyes in response.
The two competitors circle the ring. They go to lock up. But again, the Baroness kicks Tillman in the midsection. After a knife edge chop, she takes Tillman and goes for an irish whip. But Tillman reverses, sending the Baroness into the ropes. When she comes back, Tillman throws out a clothesline. But Baroness ducks and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a dropkick, sending Tillman stumbling back. So Baroness gets back up, runs over and connects with another dropkick. This time, the dropkick sends Tillman tumbling through the ropes. As The Pride of LDFC pulls himself up on the apron, the Baroness goes over to knock him off. But Tillman ducks and counters with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then grabs the Baroness and goes for a vertical suplex to the outside. But Baroness slips down from behind and lands on her feet. She then tries to yank Tillman off the apron, but he hangs onto the top ropes. After kicking Baroness in the face with his free leg, he backflips off, lands behind Baroness and then brings her down with with an inverted sitout DDT. The crowd roars with cheers as the Baroness is down.
Geoff Penzer: Triple DDT on the floor!
Tillman gets up and begins shaking his left arm. He then picks up the Baroness and rolls her back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO!
The Crimson Baroness gets her foot on the bottom rope. The crowd sighs, then boos over the Baroness escaping the three count.
Geoff Penzer: That is as close as you can get. The Baroness is lucky that she was that close to the ropes.
Tillman picks up the Baroness and whips her into the corner. He runs across the ring, but the Baroness nails him with a boot to the face. After Tillman turns and staggers away from the corner, the Baroness runs up from behind and brings him down with a bulldog. She makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Tillman kicks out.
The Baroness picks up Tillman and goes for an irish whip. But Tillman reverses, sending her into the ropes. When The Baroness returns, Tillman sets up for a back body drop. But Baroness counters with a kick to his left shoulder. Tillman yelps as he stands up. The Baroness then runs over, leaps up and plants him with a jumping DDT. The crowd boos as she makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . Tillman gets his shoulder up.
The Baroness picks up Tillman, brings him into the corner and slams him face first into the top turnbuckle. After turning him around, she nails him with a knife edge chop. She then takes him and goes for an irish whip. But Tillman reverses, sending her into the opposite corner. He then runs across the ring and goes for a Corner Splash. But The Baroness scurries out of the way…
… but unbeknownst to her, Tillman lands safely on the middle ropes. When the Baroness turns around, Tillman jumps off, turns and goes for a cross body. But the Baroness rolls out of the way, causing Tillman to crash onto the canvas. He tries to get up, but the Baroness quickly knocks him down with a Scissors Kick. The crowd boos as she makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO!
Tillman gets his shoulder up.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman may have gotten his shoulder up. But that scissors kick definitely did some damage to his neck...
Baroness picks up Tillman, delivers five knees to the midsection and then plants him with a snap DDT.
Geoff Penzer: … and so did that DDT! She makes the cover!
ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO!
Tillman gets his shoulder up. The Crimson Baroness then looks over at the ref and slams her hand three times.
The Baroness pulls up Tillman onto his knees and delivers a series of shoot kicks to the chest before taking off into the ropes. When she comes back, she nails Tillman with a Shining Apprentice. The crowd boos as she makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO!
Tillman gets his shoulder up. The Crimson Baroness glances over at the ref and gives him an annoyed look.
Geoff Penzer: The Baroness now starting to get frustrated that she can't quite put Tillman away.
The Baroness marches over into the corner and begins to feverishly untie the string on the top turnbuckle.
Geoff Penzer: She’s trying to expose that steel turnbuckle! She couldn’t put Tillman away so now she’s getting desperate!
The crowd continues to boo as the Baroness continues to untie the ropes. But before she can rip off the turnbuckle pad, Tillman hooks her arms from behind and delivers a release tiger suplex. The crowd cheers as the Baroness looks to be down and out. But just then, she slowly pushes herself up off the canvas. As she gets up on one knee, Tillman runs from out of the corner and nails her with a Shining Black. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO!
The Crimson Baroness gets her shoulder up.
Geoff Penzer: The Baroness caught Tillman’s boot right in her face! But she was still able to avoid the three count,
Tillman picks up the Baroness and whips her into the ropes. When she comes back, Tillman knocks her down with a dropsault. He makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO!
The Crimson Baroness gets her shoulder up.
Tillman picks up the Baroness and goes for a vertical suplex. But the Baroness slips down from behind. She then nails him with a forearm to the back of the neck before she turns and runs into the ropes. When the Baroness comes back, Tillman knocks her down with a spinning heel kick. After dragging her into position, Tillman heads into the corner and connects with a double jump moonsault.
Geoff Penzer: The Terry-sault! That could be enough for three!
ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO!
The crowd sighs, then boos as after The Crimson Baroness gets her shoulder up.
Geoff Penzer: Oh, so close!
Tillman picks up the Baroness and whips her into the ropes. When the Baroness returns, Tillman sets up for a back body drop. But she counters with a knee lift. As Tillman staggers back, the Baroness turns and runs back into the ropes. When she comes back, Tillman knocks her down with the Chin Checka. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO!
The Crimson Baroness gets her shoulder up.
Geoff Penzer: How was that not three!?
As Tillman pulls up the Baroness, she rakes him across the eyes. She then sets him up for another snap DDT. The crowd boos as the Baroness savors the moment. But Tillman counters with a standing double leg takedown. He then hooks his arms around the Baroness’ legs and leans back, catapulting her into the corner. Tillman then gets up and waves his arms up and down, getting the T-Unit hyped up. After taking a few steps back, Tillman charges forward and leaps into the corner for a Corner Splash. But the Baroness pulls off the top turnbuckle pad, exposing the steel turnbuckle. Tillman then crash chest first onto the turnbuckle.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman!
Tillman immediately doubles over and clutches his chest. He staggers back into the Baroness, who turns him around, hooks his arms and plants him with Dom’d. The crowd boos as she makes the cover with a smirk on her face.
ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE!
“Crimson” blares throughout the arena as the crowd boos the outcome.
Tony Allen: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, THE CRIMSON BARONESS!
The Baroness gets her arm raised to boos from the crowd.
Geoff Penzer: The Crimson Baroness sneaks away with another win. It seems as if everything was coming together for Triple T. He had the match right there. But she was able to pull that turnbuckle off at the last second. I hope he didn’t hurt himself too bad there. And… wait a minute. What’s this? The Crimson Baroness has got a mic. What’s this about!?
The Crimson Baroness: Cut the music!
She demands, not even needing to use the microphone to be heard. A quick double tap of the mic in her hand lets The Baroness know that she can continue, as soon as the crowd quiets down. After nearly ten seconds of her pacing around the ring, the crowd finally begin to stop booing.
The Crimson Baroness: I’d like to take a moment to address someone backstage. You’ll remember that tonight was supposed to be some sort of humbling experience for me. That after two weeks ago on Pride, when that hoodlum Jensen Banks attacked me after our match…
A cheer from the crowd.
The Crimson Baroness: And sent me to Bank Shot City…
The term is said with derision, but the crowd cheer again regardless. The Baroness stands tall in the center of the ring, shaking her head dismissively before continuing.
The Crimson Baroness: And I had to watch as someone else became the new holder of the Carolina Cup. That string of bad luck was supposed to continue tonight when Terrence Tillman, the Pride of LDFC was supposed to humble me in this ring. He was supposed to beat me, to humiliate me, to get revenge for all the wrongdoings I’ve perpetrated against him over the past few months.
The Crimson Baroness: …well that didn’t quite go according to the plan did it, Brat?!
She says, coldly. A sneer crosses The Baroness’ face as she looks up the aisle towards the backstage area; the fans continue to boo her as she speaks. A shot of Tillman making his way back up the aisle is shown with the help of the ref. Triple T is still favoring his torso.
The Crimson Baroness: Except now, after I’ve survived your poison … it’s time to turn the tables. You see, like Emily Carter was allowed to pick my opponent tonight, I too am allowed to pick her opponent for the next episode of Pride. And here’s another time where we differ, Brat. While you tried to pick someone who hates me, who’d have incentive to break me physically, I’m going a different route.
Geoff Penzer: What does she mean a different route?
The Crimson Baroness: There’s nobody here in LDFC who hates you nearly as much as I do, and you’re not ready to step into the ring with me yet. You don’t deserve the pleasure and the privilege of facing the fastest rising star here in LDFC. And until you are ready, until you deserve that opportunity, I don’t want to see you physically broken…
She pauses again, moving away from the ropes to stand in the center of the ring, looking at the hard camera.
The Crimson Baroness: …but I’ll see you torn, nonetheless. Because your opponent on the next episode of Pride isn’t someone you hate, nor is it someone who hates you. Quite the opposite in fact … because in two weeks time, Brat, you’ll be facing Jensen Banks!
A loud boo from the crowd this time as The Baroness cackles in delight.
Geoff Penzer: Emily Carter vs. Jensen Banks?! We know those two are very good friends, but now they’re going to find themselves as opponents!
The Crimson Baroness: And, Brat… there's a catch. I’m not one to rob these fans of a spectacle, so our dear, sweet, chivalrous Jensen can't lay down for you. And as much as, I’m sure, you’d love to have Jensen on top of you, you can't lay down for him, either. Enjoy your poison…
“Crimson” by Morcheeba begins playing again as The Crimson Baroness climbs out of the ring, heading backstage accompanied by a chorus of boos from the fans in attendance. A wide smile on her face as she strides confidently up the aisle.
Geoff Penzer: There we have it, folks. In two weeks time we’ll see Jensen Banks going one on one with the current holder of the Carolinas Cup, Emily Carter. Be sure to tune in then to catch that and much more, until then, I’m Geoff Penzer, signing off!
