“You do not seem to understand, Junior,” Hans says, speaking slowly as he stands stoically in front of the German flag. Dressed in his black zip up jacket and a pair of jeans, the German stares at the camera with his sunken eyes, as he has his chest out, hands clasped together behind his back., “Your attitude, your boasts, zat braggadocio mit vich you carry yourself, zey vill only serve to anger us. To raise ze ire of Liesl und I.”
“Und you should not vant to do zat.” Hans exclaims, loudly, slamming a fist down against his palm for emphasis. He scoffs under his breath as he returns to his previous stance.
“In much ze same vay vich you made your presence known on ze last episode of Pride, ven you saved your friend, your partner, ze fotze, Chris Bond. Und your very presence zere zat evening, Junior, it vas insulting to zose of us who train here at LDFC. It vas insulting to zose of us who deserve to be here,” he says in disdain, “because neither describes you, little boy.”
“Vat vere you doing zere, backstage at an LDFC show, Junior? You do not train here, you do not compete here. Did Chris Bond not trust any of ze LDFC students to save him just in case Liesl und I attacked him again?” Hans asks. A wry smirk appearing on his face as he shifts his body weight so that he’s almost side on to the camera, jabbing an accusing finger at the lens as he continues. “Zat very reason vy zis entire feud started. Because our head trainer, ze man in charge of making sure zat zese students can become future FGA Vorld Champions, he does not believe in zem. He does not trust zem. Und for vatever reason, he chooses zis…” he pauses, “… miststück to save him.”
“To team mit him in ze Dynamic Duos tournament.”
“To get shot at FGA glory ahead of ze rest of us.”
“Und zat,” Hans’ blood is beginning to boil, “is extremely insulting to zose of us whose future Chris Bond holds in ze palm of his hand. But you, Junior, you vant to jump ze queue. You vanted to be ze big man, to try and get ahead of us because of who you are. Because of who your fazer vas…” Hans spits on the floor, “…pathetic American. You und your ridiculous sense of entitlement.”
“You deserve nothing!”
“You should vork for everyzing!”
“Hard vork und dedication, Junior. Zat is vat you should have used to secure your position as ze tag team partner two months ago. Zat is vat Chris Bond should have asked of you before he chose you over any of us.”
“You two, you got lucky against ze Knights of Anarchy, but against Visky Dex, you showed us all vy you did not deserve zis opportunity. Vy choosing you vas a mistake. Und now, at 2nd Impact, Liesl und I vill show you zat over zese last two months – vile you have been on ze sidelines, vaiting for your second chance – zat you have not gotten any more vorthy. Zat you have not gotten any better. Zat ze hunger you possess, zat drive to achieve great zings you claim to have, zat desire to be ze best tag team partner you can for Chris Bond – it is not enough.”
“Zat your father’s legacy, it does not matter here.”
“Liesl und I vill show you ze errors of your vay, Junior. Ve vill show you vat hard vork und dedication can do. Ven ve crush you under boot, und make you grovel before us, zen you vill understand exactly vat you did to deserve zis. Because Chris Bond, he does not seem to understand. He claims he did not do anyzing vong. But you, Junior, you are living embodiment of his mistakes. You are valking, talking, embodiment of all zat is vong mit zis country.”
“But ve vill beat it out of you.”
“Ve vill instil in you a sense of true pride, a sense of honour. And you vill find out vat happens ven you step into ze Lion’s Den!” Hans states, boldly as the scene comes to an end with the fade to black.
