Chandler Scott vs. Annie Zellor

An assortment of purple and blue strobe lights illuminate the entrance aisle, flashing in time with the music, as Annie Zellor bursts through the curtain. She poses momentarily, 'flexing' her biceps for the fans, before running down the aisle, her arms outstretched to slap hands with the willing fans on the way down.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Staten Island, New York! Weighing in at 110 pounds, she is one half of the FGA World Tag Team Champions… ANNIE ZELLOR!

The youngster slides in under the bottom rope and runs to the furthest away turnbuckle, climbing to the middle rope, whereupon she raises a fist in the air before jumping down off the turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: Annie appears to be in good spirits after getting assaulted by Jimmy Page not too long ago.

Stephy Auger: Yes she does. Annie was pretty roughed up after that assault. But here she is, looking to pop Chandler right in the kisser.

The sound of an organ plays throughout the arena, capturing the attention of all the fans in the crowd. They all turn their attention to the entrance way, preparing for the man that’s about to walk out. As "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple kicks in, the crowd begins to boo, jeer and heckle loudly. The camera dolly slowly rolls up towards the curtain. At around the 30 second mark, Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain as the crowd really begins to let him have it. Chandler looks over and can be seen mouthing at the camera while he points an accusatory finger at it. He then turns his attention towards the ring as he thrusts his arms in the air, resulting in another round of loud boos from the crowd.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, from Hyannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 228 pounds, he is the reigning FGA World Champion! He is the self-proclaimed “DNA of FGA”... CHANDLER SCOTT!

Chandler keeps his index fingers in the air, letting everyone know who is truly "number one” around this joint. He keeps a smug look planted on his face as he swaggers down to the ring. After climbing up onto the apron, Chandler steps through the ropes, climbs up onto the second ropes and slowly raises his fists in the air as he absorbs the crowd's disdain for him. After stepping down to the canvas, he can be seen arguing with some fans in the front row.

Kris Cruise: Chandler’s got the big challenge in Cordy Stevenson awaiting him at All-Star Showdown IV. But he can’t be thinking about that World Title Match because tonight, he’s got Annie Zellor.

Stephy Auger: This isn’t the first time these two have been in a ring together. It was a month or two back when some would argue that Annie had Chandler beat. Tonight, Annie has her chance to get that win over the World Champ.

The bell sounds as Chandler immediately gets in Annie’s face. But Annie doesn’t back down. She stands her ground and stares right back at Chandler as the crowd cheers.

Kris Cruise: Look at Annie. She isn’t going to let herself be intimidated by Chandler at all.

Chandler smirks before faking a punch. Annie falls for the feint and flinches. This gives Chandler the opening, which he takes advantage of with a knee to the midsection. The crowd boos as Chandler knocks Annie into the corner with a series of forearm strikes to the face. Once Annie’s in the corner, he ducks down and delivers a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then takes Annie and whips her into the opposite corner. Chandler runs across the ring, but Annie nails him with an elbow to the face, sending him stumbling back. After shaking off the blow, Chandler runs back into the corner. But this time, Annie nails him with a boot to the face. After Chandler stumbles back, he runs back over and dives into the corner. But Annie moves out of the way, causing Chandler to crash into the corner.

When Chandler turns around, he turns into a discus clothesline from Annie. She then grabs a hold of him, runs and bulldogs him from out of the corner. The crowd cheers as Annie pushes over Chandler and makes the cover.

Annie picks up Chandler and places him in a side headlock. Chandler then grabs Annie and lifts her up for a belly to back suplex. But she rolls over his shoulder, lands on her feet and reapplies the side headlock to cheers from the crowd. Annie tries to cinch in the hold. But Chandler quickly shoves her off of him and into the ropes. When Annie comes back, Chandler knocks her down with a shoulder block. He then runs into the ropes as Annie gets back up to her feet. When Chandler comes back, he flattens her with a running shoulder block, causing the crowd to boo. Chandler then runs into another set of ropes as Annie gets back up to her feet. When Chandler comes back, Annie leapfrogs over him. Chandler then continues to run into the ropes. When Chandler comes back, Annie connects with a dropkick, sending him stumbling back. Annie then quickly gets back to her feet, runs over and connects with another dropkick. This time, Chandler is sent stumbling through the ropes and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Annie sends the champion to the outside. What will she do from here?

As Chandler gets up on the outside, Annie takes off into the ropes. When Chandler turns around, he turns into a baseball slide.

While Chandler turns over on the ground, Annie steps out onto the apron and waves him up. Once Chandler gets back to a vertical base, Annie runs along the apron, dives off and drives Chandler down with a bulldog to cheers from the crowd.

Stephy Auger: A diving bulldog from Annie Zellor brings down the World Champion.

Annie picks up Chandler and rolls him back into the ring. She then rolls herself back in and makes the cover.

Annie picks up Chandler and places him in another side headlock. But Chandler is able to slip out and reverse into a hammerlock. Annie tries to elbow him in the face, but Chandler moves his head out of the way. So after stomping on his foot, Annie reaches back, grabs Chandler and brings him down with a jumping snapmare. Chandler gets back up, but Annie knocks him down with a dropkick. Chandler tries to get back up, but Annie knocks him down with a Taka geri to the face. As Chandler gets back up, Annie grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Chandler reverses, sending Annie into the ropes. When Annie comes back, Chandler goes for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. But Annie counters with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover. She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Once again, Annie gets the best of the champion.

Stephy Auger: Annie’s as quick as a cat and she’s using that speed to her full advantage in this one.

Annie picks up Chandler and whips him into the ropes. When Chandler comes back, Annie bends over to set up a back body drop. But Chandler stops and quickly grabs Annie around the neck. He then sets her up for a hangman’s Roaring Hammer. But Annie ducks the shot to the back of her head. When Chandler turns around, Annie stumbles back into the corner.

Kris Cruise: The look on Annie’s face tells the whole story.

Stephy Auger: She knows this match would have been over had he connected.

Chandler begins to stalk Annie while she’s trapped in the corner. Annie motions to her left, but Chandler cuts her off. She then motions to her right but again, Chandler cuts her off. Chandler then lunges at Annie. But again, Annie moves out of the way. When Chandler turns around, Annie throws out a shoot kick to the chest, but Chandler catches her leg. He then drags Annie away from the corner and begins to taunt her to boos from the crowd. But the boos turn to cheers as Annie connects wit a step-up enzuigiri.

Stephy Auger: That one rocked him!

After Chandler falls down to one knee, Annie runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Chandler rises up and nails her with a Kitchen Sink, sending her flipping over his knee and falling down to the canvas. As Annie sits up, Chandler runs up from behind and delivers a rolling neck snap. The crowd boos as he makes the cover.

Chandler picks up Annie and moves her into the corner. From there, Chandler unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then grabs a hold of Annie, brings her from out of the corner and whips her into the ropes. When Annie comes back, Chandler throws out a clothesline. But Annie ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Chandler scoops her up from the side and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He makes the cover.

Chandler picks up Annie and nails her with a forearm strike, sending her stumbling into the ropes. He then goes over, grabs Annie by the back of the neck and pulls her away from the ropes. He then runs forward and goes to toss Annie over the top rope…

… but Annie’s able to grab onto the top rope. After positioning herself, Annie “skins the cat,” pulling herself over the top rope and back into the ring. But when Annie turns around, she turns into a European Uppercut that knocks her down. Chandler makes the cover.

Chandler picks up Annie and goes for a vertical suplex. But on the way up, Annie knees him in the head, forcing Chandler to drop her. When she lands on her feet, she throws out another step-up enzuigiri. But this time, Chandler ducks. He then quickly steps over Annie, hoists her back up to her feet and positions her for a German Suplex. But Annie repeatedly elbows him in the face. Once the hold is broken, Annie runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Chandler throws her down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The crowd boos as Annie bounces off of Chandler knee and falls face-down on the canvas. Chandler then pulls her over and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Chandler's begun to target the back in an attempt to slow down Annie Zellor. Thus far, it’s working.

Stephy Auger: Annie was able to get the best of Chandler early on. But not anymore. Chandler’s got the right strategy to slow her down. Can she get back into this? Never say never.

Chandler picks up Annie and whips her hard into the corner. After her back collides with the turnbuckles, Annie stumbles out of the corner before dropping down to her knees. Chandler then goes over, yanks her back up by her hair and whips her hard into the opposite corner. Once her back collides with the turnbuckles, Annie quickly falls face-first onto the mat. Chandler then goes over, reaches down and grabs Annie by the hair with both hands. After yanking Annie back up to her feet, Chandler doubles her over with a knee to the midsection. Chandler then switches positions with Annie before delivering a snap suplex into the turnbuckles. The crowd boos as Chandler makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Annie’s lucky to have had that pinfall broken after she got suplexed into the turnbuckles.

Chandler picks up Annie, brings her to the center of the ring and deliver a snap suplex. He quickly rolls over and hooks the leg.

Stephy Auger: Again, Annie Zellor doesn’t stay down. But the more Chandler continues this, the more it’s going to hurt Annie come the Pay Per View.

Chandler picks up Annie and connects with a European Uppercut, knocking her down. He then places his foot on her face before delivering a spinning facewash. After heading into the corner, Chandler turns around, hoists himself up onto the middle ropes and jumps off, connecting with a fist drop. The crowd boos as he makes the cover.

Annie gets her shoulder up.

Chandler sits up Annie and applies a rear chinlock to boos from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Chandler worked over her back before. Now he’s really going to try and wear her down.

Stephy Auger: Annie’s not going to go away easily. But I wonder what she’s got left in the tank?

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. But Annie refuses to quit. So Chandler pulls back, increasing the pressure.

Stephy Auger: You can hear Annie squealing in pain. The agony is written all over her face. But she’s got to dig deep and fight through it.

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. When she refuses to quit, Chandler jerks back.

Kris Cruise: This capacity crowd here in San Jose is firmly behind Annie. They’re chanting her name. They’re trying to rally behind her. Can she fight her way out of this hold and get back in this match?

Annie begins to shake her fists in unison with the chants. She slowly begins to turn over onto her knees. She then slowly gets back up to her feet while Chandler shakes his head in denial. Annie then nails him with four elbows to the midsection, breaking the hold. Annie then takes off into the ropes. When she comes back, Chandler hoists her up into the air, catches her across his shoulders and delivers a fireman’s carry gutbuster. The crowd boos as Annie rolls over and curls up into a ball. Chandler then heads over and makes the cover.

Annie gets her shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: Great counter there by Chandler. But Annie got her shoulder up.

Chandler picks up Annie and whips her into the ropes. When Annie comes back, Chandler bends over to set up a back body drop. But Annie counters with a sitout facebuster to cheers from the crowd.

Stephy Auger: Chandler telegraphed that move and in turn, she made him pay.

Ater both grapplers get back to their feet, Chandler throws out a right hand, but Annie ducks and connects with a punch to the face. Chandler throws out another punch but again, Annie ducks and socks him with a punch to the face. Annie then nails him with another punch… and another… and another. Annie then reaches her arm back and goes to sock Chandler one last time. But Chandler blocks by wrapping his arm around hers. After a knee to the midsection, Chandler takes Annie by the wrist, delivers an arm wrench and follows up with a short-arm reverse STO. The crowd boos as he makes the cover.

Annie gets her shoulder up.

Chandler picks up Annie and lifts her up for a piledriver. But Annie uses one of her legs to hit Chandler in the face, forcing him to drop her. He then throws out a clothesline. But Annie ducks. When Chandler turns around, Annie kicks him in the midsection and follows up with a sitout jawbreaker, sending Chandler stumbling into the corner. Annie then runs into the corner. But Chandler connects with a European Uppercut, sending her stumbling back. Chandler then runs out of the corner and throws out a clothesline. But Annie uses his momentum to counter with a Harai goshi to cheers from the crowd. Chandler gets back up, but Annie knocks him down with a dropkick. When Chandler gets back up, Annie throws out a shoot kick. But Chandler catches her leg and counters with a dragon screw legwhip.

Stephy Auger: Oh no...

Chandler grabs Annie’s leg leg, holds it up and delivers several kicks to the back of the leg. He then applies a standing kneebar.

Kris Cruise: Chandler smelled blood in the water and now he’s going to town on Annie’s leg.

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. But Annie refuses to quit.

Stephy Auger: We thought that maybe Chandler would go after Annie’s head. But instead, he’s targeted her back and her legs.

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. But again, Annie refuses to quit. So Chandler begins pulling back, applying more pressure to the hold.

Stephy Auger: Annie’s writhing in pain. She doesn’t want to give up. But how much longer can she hold on for?

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. When Annie refuses to quit, Chandler breaks the hold… only to turn Annie over onto her stomach to apply an Argentine Leglock. The crowd boos.

Kris Cruise: Annie’s in immense pain right now. How she’s not tapping the canvas right now, I don’t know.

Stephy Auger: Chandler had already put her through hell. Then he does this.

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. When Annie refuses to quit, Chandler lifts one of his legs up and comes down with a stomp to the back of her head.

Kris Cruise: Come on, now!

The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. When Annie refuses to quit, Chandler delivers a stomp to the back.

Stephy Auger: Chandler wants Annie to tap. But she’s not succumbing to the pain.

The ref again asks Annie if she wants to give up. When Annie refuses to quit, Chandler lets go of the hold and throws her lower body down to the canvas. As Annie slowly gets up on all fours, Chandler runs over and delivers a stiff kick to the ribs, knocking her over onto her back.

Chandler stands over Annie and shakes his head at her. He then places his foot on her chest and tells her to stay down. But Annie knocks his foot off of her chest. So Chandler places his foot back on her chest and shouts at her to stay down. But again, Annie knocks his foot off of her chest. So Chandler gets down on one knee, mounting himself on top of her. He then yells at Annie to stay down before slapping her across the face to boos from the crowd. But the boos turn to cheers as Annie reaches up and punches him in the face, knocking him off of her.

Kris Cruise: Talk about “right in the kisser”!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, she socked him there!

As both grapplers get up, Annie punches Chandler in the face again. Chandler then throws out a punch of his own. But Annie ducks and counters with a knife-edge chop. Chandler then goes to throw out a chop of his own. But again, Annie ducks. When Chandler turns around, Annie nails him with a series of forearm strikes. After a knee to the midsection, Annie grabs Chandler and delivers a facebreaker DDT. But Annie quickly grabs her leg as she used her left knee by accident.

Annie slowly rolls over and makes the cover.

Chandler gets his shoulder up.

Annie picks up Chandler and goes for an irish whip. But Chandler reverses, sending Annie into the ropes. But instead of bouncing back, Annie hangs onto the ropes. So Chandler runs over to attack. But Annie nails him with an elbow to the face, sending him stumbling back. After Annie steps out onto the apron, she holds her left leg as she anticipates a move off the ropes. But Chandler is right back over to attack. However, Annie ducks the attack and counters with a shoulder thrust through the ropes, sending Chandler staggering back. Annie then goes to springboard onto the top rope. But she quickly slips and falls back down onto the apron.

Stephy Auger: Oh no!

Annie lands on her feet. But she quickly grabs her left leg again. While she’s tending to her leg, Chandler runs back over. But Annie greets him with a forearm strike to the face. As Chandler stumbles back, Annie connects with a springboard cross body block to cheers from the crowd.

Chandler gets his shoulder up.

Annie picks up Chandler and runs into the corner. After slapping her leg, Annie does her best to run into the corner. She then hops on Chandler before sending him flying out of the corner with a monkey flip to cheers from the crowd. As Chandler gets up and turns around, Annie does her best to run over toward him. She then jumps up, pushes herself up off the mat and delivers a wheelbarrow bulldog. The crowd cheers as Annie turns over and makes the cover.

Chandler gets his shoulder up, causing the crowd to sigh.

Annie picks up Chandler, delivers a series of alternating forearm strikes and follows up with a sitout jawbreaker. While Chandler's dazed, Annie gets back up, grabs him and delivers a standing shiranui. The crowd cheers. As Annie heads out onto the apron, Chandler slowly turns over. Once he gets back up to his feet, Annie connects with a springboard dropkick from behind, sending him stumbling onto the middle ropes. When Annie sits up and sees Chandler in position, she looks around at the crowd as she gets back up.

Kris Cruise: You know what comes next, Stephy?

Annie throws up the devil horns, executing her #grrface as the crowd explodes in cheers. She then runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she swings around the ropes for the Rough ‘n’ Tumble. But Chandler catches her legs. After yanking Annie back into the ring and dragging her across the mat, Chandler places his leg through hers, crosses them and then turns over into a sharpshooter.

Kris Cruise: Scott Lock! He’s got the Scott Lock applied!

Annie screams in pain as Chandler cinches in the hold. The ref asks her if she wants to give up. But Annie shakes her head from side to side. She then tries to push herself up off the apron. But Chandler pulls back on the hold, sending Annie back down to the canvas. Chandler continues to keep the hold applied while the crowd tries to rally behind Annie. The ref asks Annie if she wants to give up. Annie feverishly nods. The ref then calls for the bell.

“Perfect Strangers” blares throughout the arena as the crowd erupts in boos.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, CHANDLER SCOTT!

Chandler gets his arm raised to boos from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Annie Zellor fought hard out there tonight. But she ultimately fell to Chandler Scott.

Stephy Auger: Give Annie all the credit in the world. She fought hard. But like you said, she ultimately fell victim to the World Champ.

Kris Cruise: Chandler Scott came in this match tonight and once again showed why he is the World Champion. If he performs at All-Star Showdown IV like he did here tonight, he’s walking out of Irvine with the title.

Kris Cruise: Right now we really need to call attention to something that was posted to youtube earlier today.

Stephy Auger: It’s not a cat video I’m guessing.

Kris Cruise: Nope, we have footage of something that took place earlier today down in Los Angeles. It sheds a bit of light on what happened with Hadley Herrera’s pregnancy just before the Dynamic Duos finals.

Stephy Auger: Oh really?

Kris Cruise: Yep. Let’s just roll the video.

(The camera comes in on two teenage girls who appear to be standing down on Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills. The girl behind the camera appears to have realized that Kitty Sasso was shopping in the area and is having her friend stand in frame while secretly filming her.)

Camera Girl: Alright, everyone. I don’t know if you can see it but behind Jessica is professional wrestler Kitty Sasso. We were just walking by the Gucci store and we saw her come out. She’s out here now on her phone.

(The camera phone zooms in on Kitty and gets a little blurry as camera phones tend to do. She is standing on the street with a couple of bags hanging off her arms as she stands talking on the phone.)

Jessica: I can’t believe we are this close to her. This is crazy. Should I go up to her? I want to tell her how great she did in the Dynamic Duos tournament.

Cam Girl: I’m not sure that’s a great idea. They did lose and she’s known to have a bit of an attitude Jess.

Jessica: Oh come on, how bad could she be?

(At that moment, you can hear a car screech to a halt on the road and park near the sidewalk. Hadley Herrera comes flying out running up the sidewalk, seemingly having jumped out before the car stopped. The camera moves over to the car where Dan Herrera is hopping out of the driver’s side.)

Dan Herrera: Hadley! Stop, she’s not worth it.

Cam Girl: Oh my god.

Hadley Herrera: She needs to know that we know what she did Dan!

(Kitty gets off the phone and sets her bags on the ground firmly placing her hands on her hips. Hadley gets to her standing in her face as Dan comes over and puts an arm around her waist pulling her back away from Kitty hoping to avoid a street fight.)

Hadley Herrera: Did you think you could get away with it? Did you really think that no one would find out what you did?

Kitty Sasso: Find out what, that you’re a crazy person? The type to jump out of a car to accost an innocent shopper?

(Kitty’s smirk though is far, far more telling than her protestations of innocence. Her own husband, veteran wrestler Brian Sasso steps up behind her, ready to pull her back much as Dan had his sister in order to prevent unwanted consequences.)

Kitty Sasso: It’s hardly my fault that you didn’t put any stock in the Trojan company, now is it?

Hadley Herrera: You have one chance to own up to your actions. That’s it. I’ll scream from the rooftops how you couldn’t beat us in the ring and had to resort to what you did to move on in the Dynamic Duos tournament if I have to.

(Hadley shoves Dan’s hand off of her. She stands with her hands on her hips waiting for Kitty to come out with it.)

Kitty Sasso: Oh I own everything I do, Hadley. Everything. And let’s face facts, if you weren’t so shady? No one would have believed it! But they did, and you get to think about that.

(There was a distinct pause, Kitty narrowing her eyes.)

Kitty Sasso: And it was all me, understand? Christian had nothing to do with anything.

(Hadley turns and faces the crowd that’s gathered around the wrestlers. She puts her hands out to talk to them.)

Hadley Herrera: You all heard that right? This wrestler that you all put so high up on a pedestal around here paid off a doctor to have me disqualified from the Dynamic Duos tournament. You heard it straight from her mouth. And somehow that same doctor had my second set of test results push back far enough that I was not reinstated before the finals.

(Dan is flabbergasted now. He didn’t want to believe what Hadley had told him after she had gotten her second set of test results back. He stands staring at her in disbelief. He doesn’t do anything though as he feels that it’s the wrong place for any type of retaliation.)

Dan Herrera: That’s low Kitty. I had a little respect for you. But I guess that respect was ill placed. Just dirty…

(Hadley continues to incite the crowd.)

Hadley Herrera: The best part is this bitch thinks she’s going to get away with it.

(Hadley turns to Kitty and points at her.)

Hadley Herrera: You’re gonna get what’s coming to you though. Not here. Not now. But you’re going to get it.

(Kitty smirks lightly and looks around at the crowd and gauges their reactions before looking through Hadley right at Dan.)

Kitty Sasso: What part of, ‘I’ll do anything it takes’ escaped you Dan? Maybe you’ve gotten dropped on your head one too many times? But hey, if it’s any consolation? I didn’t want your respect in the first place. You keep that, you might need it later.

(Finally she looks at Hadley and the smirk vanishes, replaced by a narrow and vicious grin for a second, then her expression eases up and she infuriatingly blows her a kiss!)

Kitty Sasso: Okay Hadley, I tell you what… I accept. Feel better now toots?

(Dan hops back in front of Hadley again as she begins to lunge at Kitty. Hadley’s now irate and screaming at her.)

Hadley Herrera: It does! Cause whenever it happens, I’m going to kick those perfect teeth down your throat. I’ll call the FGA board today and make it happen. Sign the contract bitch… we’ll finish this in the ring.

(Hadley swings her arm violently from Dan as she turns around and starts walking towards their car. Dan turns back to Kitty and gives her a look of disgust before shaking his head and heading to the car himself. He turns and yells back to her.)

Dan Herrera: Bring your friend Christian. He’s part of this too, even if you don’t want him to be.

(Dan gets to his car but before he sits down he can hear Kitty over the top of the car. Hadley’s door is still open too as she listens intently.)

Kitty Sasso: If that’s how you want it? Fine.

(She waves her fingers dismissively at the pair, though a keen eye might note a hint of unease in her expression.)

Jessica: What… the… hell?

Cam Girl: I don’t know, but holy crap I got all of that on camera.

Jessica: YOUTUBE!

(The two girls laugh as the video then shuts off and the feed fades to black. The camera feed then comes back to ringside with Stephy and Kris.)

Stephy Auger: Well that certainly makes things interesting. I guess Hadley was right all along. And none of us believed her.

Kris Cruise: Kitty had it right though, Hadley made it believable with the way she acts. But by no means is that an excuse as to why this happened. I’m curious to see what happens next.

Stephy Auger: Looks like another match to me. At least it sounded like it.

Kris Cruise: But will the FGA board allow it? Still have to find out. We’ll find out soon enough I guess.

Zero McHannon vs. Evangelista

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 210lbs … ZERO McHANNON!

“This Means War” by Avenged Sevenfold hits the speakers. The music picks up a little bit, but eventually slows back down and to a complete stop after half a minute. The bass hits again, this time it lights up the top of the ramp in a bright white light as Zero McHannon walks through the curtain with his manager, Gambino, walking out shortly after him.

“Hide my face again, habor in the shadows,
Feel this weight of sin, hammering away...

DIEEE!! With the guilt of a thousand AWOL soldiers,
DIEEE!! Watch the scythe usher me astray…”

Gambino is standing on one side of the ramp, trying to pump the crowd up as Zero makes his way down the rampway. He reaches out to his right, letting the fans reach over the barrier to touch him, then he does the same with his left. Zero makes his way to the bottom, touches the ring post, and slides into the ring on the side. He instantly bounces to his feet after sliding in, while Gambino takes the steps to the ring.

“I can’t go on this way,
Not as I am today,
The ugly side of me is strong....

Take aim a loaded gun,
Pulls back on all who run,
A coward’s truth inside the wrong...”

Zero McHannon climbs the nearest turnbuckle spread his arms and begins to yell towards the crowd as they do their best to cheer over him. He freezes for a moment, taking in the atmosphere, then hops from the corner ropes, and tests the mat under his feet. He is talking to himself as he crosses the ring and stands up on this turnbuckle, pointing to the crowd, and slapping himself in the chest. Finally, he hops down and meets up with his manager in the middle of the ring.

THIS MEANS WARRRR!!!

In the middle of the ring, his manager gives Zero some hard taps in the head, trying to psych him up for the match ahead. Once it seems like he is ready, he goes to his corner to wait for the start of the match, stretching himself out at the turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: We’ve been told that Zero McHannon is able to compete after that heinous attack earlier this evening, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: That’s right. Jimmy Page doing a real number on him, but he’s been cleared to compete. Lets see how he fares against someone like Evangelista.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from St. Helens, England, EVANGELISTA!

The Veronicas' "Revolution" comes over the speakers. During the first vocal line Evangelista emerges through the curtain slowly, with a focused look on her face. She closes her eyes for a second, then begins the walk to the ring, absently tagging outsretched hands while trying to psyche herself up for the task ahead. After rolling under the bottom rope she crosses over to a corner and climbs up, posing for just a second before moonsaulting back down to the ring. She takes her corner and crosses herself, then begins shaking her limbs out in readiness for the coming match.

The bell sounds to start the match as Zero and Evangelista meet in the center of the ring. The two of them shake hands before circling the ring for a moment; the fans in attendance are torn between who to cheer for as dual chants for both competitors can be heard. Before long, however, they lock up collar and elbow in the center of the ring, jockeying for position. Evangelista gains the upper hand, going behind with a hammerlock, but Zero quickly fires off some back elbows to the face. He manages to counter into a hammerlock of his own before trying to turn it into a suplex manoeuvre – but Evangelista lands on her feet.

Kris Cruise: Impressive athleticism from Evangelista there.

Evangelista catches her opponent with a drop toe hold, sending Zero throat first across the middle rope before she sets off across the ring. She rebounds off the ropes for some momentum, coming back with a leapfrog body guillotine! McHannon rolls away clutching at his throat as Evangelista follows, staying on her opponent. He gets back to his feet, but Evangelista is on his right away, landing a couple of European uppercuts that push Zero back into the corner. An Irish whip follows, sending Zero from pillar to post as Evangelista charges in after him – right into the big boot!

Stephy Auger: That was probably out of sheer instinct, but it paid off.

Immediately, Zero throws his opponent into the turnbuckles before unloading with a series of punches. One European uppercut for good measure and McHannon goes for an Irish whip himself. He watches his opponent hit the turnbuckles on the far side of the ring before he sets off, flying through the air with a stinger splash! Leanne falls to the mat as Zero goes for the pin.

But she gets the shoulder up in the nick of time. Undeterred, Zero lifts his opponent back to her feet before performing a scoop slam. He slams her down with some ferocity, enough force behind it to shake the ring before Zero bounces off the nearest ropes for a knee drop right to the face of Evangelista. Another cover.

Leanne throws the shoulder up in time. This time, Zero sits his opponent up and applies a rear chinlock, applying as much pressure as he can. But it’s not enough to keep Leanne down; the Briton begins to fight back, working her way up to her knees, a position from which she can fire off some elbows to the midsection. The third one forces Zero to weaken his grip enough that he can be pushed away against the ropes. He bounces off the ropes, coming back into a monkey flip from Evangelista!

Kris Cruise: That’s not what Zero wants, to be landing on his back like that. The jarring can’t be good for his ribs.

Zero lands with a thud, holding his back in pain as Leanne drags him back to an upright position once more. She fires off a couple of knife edge chops to the chest before going for an Irish whip, only to find it’s reversed. Evangelista hits the ropes and slides between the legs of a waiting Zero McHannon; before he can react, she’s connected with a chopblock from behind, bring McHannon crashing down to the mat again. And this time Leanne wastes no time in moving towards the leg. She stomps at the sore knee before dropping an elbow down across the joint, applying a kneebar for full effect.

Zero scrambles towards the ropes, grabbing hold of the bottom rope as the referee calls for a break. Leanne releases the hold almost immediately, allowing Zero opportunity to stand back up on his own as she paces in a semi-circle on the opposite side of the ring. He’s favoring that knee slightly, but Zero head forward before going for the collar and elbow tie up again. This time he gets the upper hand, applying a standing wristlock. But it’s only a matter of time before Leanne rolls through in an attempt to counter the hold with a wristlock of her arm. She connects with a high side kick to the jaw, rocking Zero slightly as he bounces off the nearby ropes and gets taken down by a crucifix pin!

Stephy Auger: So close!

But Zero kicks out. Both competitors scramble back to their feet again; Evangelista striking first as she takes the legs out from beneath the approaching Zero McHannon. He lands back first on the mat as Leanne drops down to make another pin attempt.

But Zero kicks out again. Both competitors are quick back to their feet as Zero lashes out with a forearm strike to the face. It stuns Leanne. Another forearm shots rocks her where she stands before Zero whips her towards the corner, following in after her – only to run right into the another big boot! McHannon staggers backwards as Leanne goes for a clothesline – but Zero ducks and counters with a shot to the midsection. He goes against the ropes, coming back with a spinning neckbreaker! And the cover.

No, Evangelista gets the shoulder up. Focusing on the area, Zero grabs his opponent in an inverted facelock, which he uses to lift her up to her feet before executing a modified backbreaker. But he doesn’t release the facelock, instead opting to drive Evangelista into the mat with a reverse DDT! No pin attempt this time, however. Zero knows he hasn’t done enough to put his opponent away just yet. Leanne is down, holding her neck, as Zero drags her back to her feet again. He positions her for the back suplex, but Leanne flips over and lands on her feet!

Kris Cruise: Once again, I’m astounded by Evangelista’s athleticism.

Zero scrambles back to a vertical base as Leanne steadies herself, and just in time to be met by a Cactus clothesline that takes both Zero and Leanne herself tumbling over the top rope.

Kris Cruise: I think he might be hurt, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: You might be right, Kris. That looked like a nasty fall as both competitors went over the top rope there.

McHannon took a pretty nasty bump off the apron, hitting those ribs that Jimmy Page worked over at the start of the show. But he’s trying to get back to his feet. Leanne stands up before her opponent manages to do the same; she doesn’t know the bump he took in that fall as she grabs him from behind, and takes him over with a back suplex on the mats outside the ring.

Stephy Auger: Those mats don’t offer a lot of protection, either.

“FOUR!”

“FIVE!”

Zero is down, holding his neck and back as Leanne tries to lift him back up again.

“SIX!”

But Zero rushes her, sending her spine first against the ring apron.

“SEVEN!”

“EIGHT!”

Zero grabs hold of the apron, as he tries to get back into the ring.

“NINE!”

But all he can do is stop Evangelista from rolling in, grabbng hold of her ankle to keep her on the outside.

“TEN!”

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, this match has been rules a double count-out.

Kris Cruise: Neither competitor able to answer the ten count, this match is a draw.

Stephy Auger: The medics are coming down to look at Zero McHannon now as well; it might have been a draw, but if those ribs are injured then he’s lost more than he bargained for tonight.

Kris Cruise: And I bet Jimmy Page is loving every minute of this right now.

Evangelista watches on in concern as the medics strap Zero onto the stretcher, escorting him back up the aisle before they check him out.

Stephy Auger: Lets hope there’s nothing seriously wrong with him.

Kris Cruise: He’s a tough son-of-a-bitch, Stephy, I’m sure he’ll be fighting fit by All Star Showdown.

Spencer Burke is seen rushing down the hallway, trying to catch up to Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine.

Spencer Burke: Hey Tony!

The Scandalous One turns around, glistening and radiating with rage. At the sight of the camera, he quickly switches to a sweet smile. Speaking softly, he acknowledges the interviewer.

Sunshine Tony: Yes honey? Make it quick.

Tony winks at Burke before perking out his lips. The interviewer subtly takes a step back as he gathers his thoughts (and catches his breath).

Spencer Burke: Tony, I know you have a big match against Cordy Stevenson coming up next. However, you never explained why you ran in and sabotaged the Pride title match last week.

Tony chuckles before placing a hand on his chest.

Sunshine Tony: Excuuuuse me? Explain myself? C’mon Bad Bama you know me better than anyone here. I explain first...then I do. When I saved the fans from those two sluts stinking up the joint, it wasn’t by surprise. Let me make something crystal fu...crystal FREAKING clear, the Scandalous One don’t need no hidden motives in what he does. Nuh uh honey. It was ya’ll who decided not to watch your backs and you paid for it. That Pride title doesn’t need to be brought down to the likes of Mia Scott and Evangelista. Like...why was that match even a thing? More circle jerking between friends trying to play hot potato with a title that I finally made relevant again after that good for nothing fagbag Riley Blowens???? I WILL NOT HAVE IT!

Tony, who is now foaming at the mouth, starts rubbing his nose and getting fired up. He turns to see Spencer Burke even further away from him, closes his eyes and calms himself down. The former Pride champ takes a few deep breaths before returning to the camera with a smile on his face.

Sunshine Tony: Mia, sweetie, I hope you watch what I do to little Bordy tonight. Well...of course you’re watching. You’re hoping to see her show me up and hopefully take me out to the point where you won’t have to deal with me. I can tell you’re a little overwhelmed with what’s going on right now; every Tom, Dick and Harry gunning after you. Well tonight I’m clearing the smoke for you. When it comes to the Pride title, no one matters but the Scandalous One. But before you eat these words, allow me to but some sprinkles on it after I make Cordy my bitch.

He spits to the ground and blows a kiss to the camera. Tony looked over to Burke and waved his fingers, before skipping off.

As RetcH's "Graceful Jewelry Removal" hits, the lights dim and eventually the crowd will begin to jeer. Pink and purple strobe lights starts to flare. Once the bass drops, Scandalous Tony emerges from the curtains with his arms spread out, accompanied by 3 full-figured women following behind him(never the same group of women). He pops the collar on his furry vest before turning his back the ring and utters something to the women behind him. Suddenly he swings back around and slowly struts down the ramp, repeating the lyrics. He takes his purple pick out and starts picking his hair out.

"n****s pussy I should sprinkle them with glitter, for real my n****."

After putting the pick away, he then pulls out a nail filer and starts filing his nails, all the while taking his sweet time to get to the ring as he instructs the females to have the ropes held for him by the time he gets to ringside. With the ladies seated on the middle rope, Tony ignores them and walks up the steps and into the ring on his own. Tony laughs as he stands on the middle rope and looks out to the fans while slowly and seductively taking his furry vest off and throwing it to the group of females as they step off the apron. He backflips into the ring as his music slowly fades.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, now residing out of Boca Raton, Florida! Weighing in at 179 pounds… SUNSHINE SCANDALOUS TONY CARMINE!

Kris Cruise: Before Tony’s showdown with Mia Scott, he’s got some unfinished business with Cordy Stevenson.

Stephy Auger: There’s definitely no love lost between these two. It seems like Cordy has always had Tony’s number. Especially during last year’s Frontier Lions Cup, when Cordy defeated Tony, knocking him out in the Quarterfinals. You just know that Tony’s looking for some measure of revenge in this one.

The lights dim down and take on a purplish hue as a light smoky mist fills the entranceway. The opening riff to Janet Jackson's "If" pierces the air as a shapely silhouette can be seen taking form in the mist.

As the beat drops, the crowd gives a loud pop as Cordelia Stevenson emerges from the mist with a bounce in her step. She comes to a stop atop the walkway, glancing around and taking in the reception before giving the crowd a warm smile. She rolls her neck around before bowing her head and letting her hair fall in front of her face. A few seconds go by before she snaps her head up, whipping her hair back from in front of her face.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Freeport, Long Island! Weighing in at 146 pounds… CORDY STEVENSON!

She continues on down the ramp, working from side to side with a big smile as she slaps the hands of fans along the way. She gets to the ring and hops up onto the apron, mouthing the words and bouncing to the music as she makes her way around the side, towards the middle. She turns and faces her crowd, stretching her arms out to the side and slightly tilting her head backwards as she soaks in their reaction. She gives them an appreciative nod and blows a kiss at them, before stepping into the ring and making her way over towards the opposite turnbuckle. She quickly hops up and holds her arms out, drawing a reaction from that side of the crowd as well. She unzips her hoodie and tosses it away before hopping down and making her way over to her corner as the music dies down.

Kris Cruise: Cordy Stevenson is as determined as I’ve ever seen her. She’s got this laser-like focus now. She wants become the new World Champion and she’ll do anything she can to get that title.

Stephy Auger: But tonight, she’s got to deal with an old foe in Tony Carmine. Tony’s not against getting himself intentionally disqualified if it means hurting Cordy Stevenson and her chances of going into the Pay Per View at 100%.

The bell sounds as both grapplers rush towards the center of the ring and lockup. After jockeying for position, Tony quickly shoves Cordy down to the canvas. As Cordy gets back up, he kicks her in the midsection before shoving her into the corner. He then lunges forward, nearly driving all the air out of her with a shoulder thrust. Tony then takes Cordy, irish whips her and follows her into the opposite corner. But instead of crashing into the corner, Cordy grabs the ropes, vaults herself back over an oncoming Tony and rocks him with a rock hand when he turns around. She then takes Tony and whips him back into the previous corner. She then runs across the ring and goes for a handspring back elbow. But Tony hooks his arms around the top ropes, leans back and front kicks Cordy down.

Kris Cruise: These two aren’t wasting any time, are they?

The crowd boos as Tony picks up Cordy, throws her down with a scoop slam and follows up with a jumping knee drop to the face. He makes the cover.

But Cordy slips down from behind and rolls him up with an O’Connor Roll.

As Cordy pulls herself up on the apron, Tony heads over to attack. But a forearm strike sends him stumbling back. Cody then springboard onto the top rope. But before she can leap off, Tony lunges over and shoves her, sending her off the top rope and crashing to the floor to boos from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Desperation move thee by Tony pays him.

Stephy Auger: Who knows what Cordy would’ve been setting up for. But it would not have been good for Tony.

Tony takes off into the ropes as Cordy begins to stir on the outside. When she gets back to her feet, Tony connects with a rolling suicide dive, knocking her down.

Kris Cruise: Tony takes down Cordy with that dive to the outside!

Tony picks up Cordy and whips her hard against the guard rail. He then goes over, hooks his arm underneath Cordy’s and launches her against the opposite guard rail with a hip toss.

Stephy Auger: Cordy’s back just collided with the steel guard rail!

Tony goes over and puts the boots to Cordy, stomping away on her chest before choking her with his foot.

Tony reaches down, yanks up Cordy to her feet, scoops her up and drops her throat-first across the guard rail.

Kris Cruise: Come on, Tony!

Tony reaches down, scoops Cordy back up and again drops her down throat-first across the guard rail.

Stephy Auger: He did it again.

Tony takes Cordy by the hair, runs and throws her back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: To has absolutely no regard for the health of Cordy Stevenson. I know I shouldn’t be surprised. But still!

Tony picks up Cordy, grabs her over towards the ropes and places her upper body across the middle rope. After places his knees across Cordy’s back, he reaches over her and pulls up the middle rope with both hands. The crowd boos while the ref gives Tony until the count of five to release the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Tony breaks the hold. He then kicks Cordy from off the ropes before making the cover.

Cordy reaches up and grabs the bottom rope.

Tony then gets up, stands over Cordy, reaches down and slowly pulls her up by her hair. He then turns around in a circle before releasing Cordy, sending her flying across the ring. After she rolls over onto her stomach, Cordy sues the ropes to pull herself back up to her feet. Tony then begins to line her up. Once she’s in position, Tony runs over to attack. But Cordy ducks and dumps him over the top rope and to the floor.

As Tony begins to get up on the outside, Cordy takes off into the ropes. When she comes back, she knocks Tony down with a suicide plancha as the crowd explodes in cheers.

Kris Cruise: The high risk pays off as Cordy takes out Tony after a huge dive over the top rope!

Cordy picks up Tony and slams him face-first onto the apron. She then goes over and slams him face-first onto the steel steps. Cordy pulls his head back and then throws it down onto the steel steps. She pulls Tony’s head back and then throws it down once again against the steel steps. Cordy then grabs a hold of Tony and rolls him back into the ring. As Cordy climbs up onto the apron, Tony lunges through the ropes, delivering a shoulder thrust. Tony then grabs Cordy and goes for another vertical suplex into the ring. But Cordy’s able to slip down from behind. When Tony turns around, he turns into the Foot Fetish, sending him through the ropes.

As Tony slowly gets up on the apron, Cordy runs towards the corner, springboards, jumps over the top rope and plants Tony with a Triangle DDT on the apron.

Kris Cruise: What a DDT by Cordy!

Stephy Auger: He might be out cold!

Cordy picks up Tony and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling herself back in, she makes the cover.

He then knocks her flush against the canvas with a stiff kick to the chest. Tony then steps back into the ropes. When Tony comes back, he connects with a jumping knee drop to the chest. He then makes the cover.

Cordy ducks and dumps him over the top rope. But this time, Tony lands on his feet. He then quickly grabs Cordy from behind and drops off apron, delivering a reverse hangman across the top rope. The crowd boos as Cordy holds the back of her neck as he drops down to one knee.

Tony climbs back up onto the apron and springboards to the top rope. He stays crouched down as he waits for Cordy to get in position. When Cordy gets back to her feet and turns around, Tony stands up on the apron, leaps off and knocks her down with a missile dropkick. The crowd boos as he then crawls over and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: That bottom rope just saved Cordy from the one, two, three.

Tony picks up Cordy and whips her into the ropes. When Cordy comes back, Tony bends over to set up a back body drop. But Cordy stops, turns and begins to swivel her hips. But before she can hit the Deadly Seduction, Tony breaks free, grabs her from behind and hits a bridging German Suplex.

The crowd cheers as she makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Yes it has. These two have never liked each other and those ill feelings have done nothing but intensify over the past year.

Cordy picks up Tony, pushes him into the ropes and then nails him with a forearm strike. She then takes Tony and goes for an irish whip. But Tony reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Cordy comes back, Tony throws out a clothesline. But Cordy ducks and runs into the ropes. When Cordy comes back, Tony goes for a back elbow. But again, Cordy ducks and runs into the ropes. When Cordy comes back, Tony goes for a tilt-a-whirl maneuver. But Cordy counters with a headscissors takeover to cheers from the crowd. Tony gets up, but Cordy delivers a dropkick to the leg, knocking Tony down to one knee. Before Tony can even get back up, Cordy wraps her arm around his neck and plants him with a Kneeling Snap DDT. After Tony turns over onto his back, Cordy heads into the ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a Rolling Senton to cheers from the crowd. Tony guard his midsection with his arms. Kris Cruise: Another nearfall for Cordy. She’s been hitting him with move right and left. But she hasn’t done enough to put him away.

Stephy Auger: And that’s starting to frustrate her, Kris.

Cordy picks up Tony, brings him into the corner and unleashes a series of forearm strikes. She then sends Tony into the opposite corner. Cordy runs across the ring, but Tony nails her with an elbow to the face. As Cordy stumbles back, Tony runs over and knocks her down with a clothesline. Cordy gets back up, but Tony knocks her back down with a clothesline. When Cordy gets back up, Tony nails her with a spinning back kick to the midsection, doubling her over. Tony then hoists up Cordy for a powerbomb. But Cordy repeatedly punches him on top of the head. After slipping down, Cordy turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Tony throws her down with a tilt-a-whirl front powerslam. He makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: And he’s right in the middle of the ring, too.

The ref asks Cordy if she wants to give up, but Cordy refuses to quit.

Kris Cruise: Tony would love for nothing more than to make Cordy quit. But Cordy doesn’t want to give him the satisfaction of having a submission victory over her.

Kris Cruise: He’s really got it locked in now.

Stephy Auger: Cordy’s fighting off the pain. But how long can she keep blocking it out?

Tony can be seen shaking his head in disbelief as Cordy continues to scratch and claw her way across the mat. She then reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope to cheers from the crowd. The ref then gives Tony until the count of five to break the hold.

Tony reluctantly breaks the hold.

Tony picks up Cordy and brings her into the corner. After sitting her down on the top turnbuckle, Tony climbs the middle ropes and goes for a superplex. But Cordy blocks the move. So Tony tightens his grip before going for a superplex. But again, Cordy blocks the move. She then begins to repeatedly punch Tony in the midsection. After getting a forearm strike to the face, Tony falls off the ropes and lands on the mat. After Cordy stands up on the top turnbuckle, she jumps off, going for a senton…

Kris Cruise: Cordy leaps off...

Stephy Auger: But Tony rolls out of the way! Oh man!

While Cordy can be seen writhing in pain, Tony looks over and smirks once he seen Cordy down. Tony then pulls himself up using the ropes. He then springboards to the top rope and goes for a Phoenix Splash…

Kris Cruise: Tony’s coming off the top...

Stephy Auger: … but now it’s Cordy that rolls out of the way!

After both grapplers slwoly get back to their feet, Cordy throws out a right hand. Tony responds with a punch of his own. Cordy connects with another right hand. Tony responds with one of his own. Cordy nails him with another punch. Tony goes to respond, but Cordy blocks it and counters. Tony throws another punch, but it gets blocked and countered again. Before Tony can even throw a punch, Cordy nails him with a flurry of right hands. But the cheers turn to boos as Tony rakes her across the eyes. After a series of forearm strikes, Tony turns and knocks her down with a discus back elbow to the face. He makes the cover.

Tony picks up Cordy and delivers a snap suplex. He then heads into the corner, springboards to the top turnbuckle and goes for a Phoenix Splash. Cordy rolls out of the way. But Tony is somehow able to land on his feet. After his momentum sends him rolling forward, Tony turns around and sees Cordy running at him. He throws out a clothesline. But Cordy ducks. When Tony turns around, he turns into the Beautiful Disaster.

Kris Cruise: Tony caught all of that kick!

As Tony gets up off of his knee, Cordy leaps up and brings him down with a jumping reverse bulldog. While Tony’s down, Cordy steps over him and delivers a moonsault double knee drop to cheers from the crowd. Cordy then leans back in the corner before feverishly waving up Tony. When Tony finally gets up and turns around, Cordy runs from out of the corner and plants him with Head Over Heels. While Tony’s down, Cordy steps through the ropes and scales the turnbuckles. When Tony gets back to his feet and turns around, Cordy leaps off and delivers Get Familiar to an explosion of cheers. She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Right now, let’s send it to an exclusive interview between Cordy, Chandler Scott and Spencer Burke, held earlier today...

Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, in two week's time, we will see one of the most highly anticipated matches in wrestling as Cordelia Stevenson challenges Chandler Scott for the FGA World Championship at All-Star Showdown IV. Fans have been salivating over this match since it was first announced. But this will not be the first time these two will face off. In fact, this will be the third time. The third and final time, some say. With a win apiece, this one right here is going to be for all the marbles. The stakes have never been higher. One of these FGA grapplers will walk out of Irvine, California as the FGA World Champion. The other will leave empty handed. Cordy, Chandler, welcome.

Cordy gives a nod in his direction and offers a faint smile.

Cordelia Stevenson: Glad to be here, Spency.

Chandler Scott: …

Chandler readjusts the FGA World Championship belt across his shoulder. At this point, he’d rather have nothing to do with this sitdown interview or Cordy Stevenson.

Spencer Burke: Cordy, I want to start with you. Last year, you had a chance to become the FGA World Champion. But things didn't end like you and the fans would have liked. This time around, you had a much tougher task. You had to go through 29 other men and women to earn this title shot. Why is this title match going to be different than the last time you challenged for the title?

Cordelia Stevenson: Because I will be ready.

She leaned forward in her seat, momentarily glancing at Chandler before turning her attention back to Spencer. Chandler twirls his finger around. He’s clearly not impressed.

Cordelia Stevenson: Scotty and I might not agree on many things, but you know me Spencer, and you know I always give credit where credit is due, and you also know that I have no qualms admitting when someone is right. And I distinctly remember Chandler saying that I was not ready to be the FGA World champion back then, and you want to know something? He was one hundred percent right. I wasn't. Heading into that match against Jimmy at Capital Combat, it's no secret that my head just wasn't where it needed to be…

There is a brief hesitation as she says this. She lowers her gaze and shifts a bit in her seat before continuing on.

Cordelia Stevenson: I was frazzled; big time. And the truth be told, I honestly didn’t know how to handle that. I wanted to maim Jimmy Page. I wanted to strangle Jimmy Page. I wanted to kill Jimmy Page. I was so focused on doing everything else, except winning; and it cost me. It cost me dearly. I was just... not.... ready. But even in defeat, I learned so much about myself, Spencer. For some people? A loss of that magnitude would have been their end. But it was just the beginning of a new journey for me. And I promised myself, that if the opportunity ever presented itself again, I wouldn’t make the same mistake as I did before. And I won’t, Spencer. Come July 25th, I will be ready, and that will make all the difference in the world.

Spencer Burke: Chandler, as you watched as Dan and Cordy battled it out and it was ultimately Cordy that won the Gold Rush Rumble, what was going through your mind?

Chandler Scott: What was going through my head? Well let me tell you. On one hand, you had Dan, someone that I’ve routinely punked out since returning to FGA. On the other hand, you had Cordy, a woman that did nothing but run her mouth about about how scared I was and how all I did was run away from her. But when the time came for her to put up or shut her, she got ran over by the DNA of FGA. Did I prefer one over the other? Was I cheering for one over the other. I didn’t because it ultimately wouldn’t have mattered. Sure, one of them would have walked out a Gold Rush Rumble winner. But after a match with yours truly, they’d be walking out as nothing but a loser.

When Chandler puts emphasis on the word “loser”, he turns to Cordy and flashes a cheeky grin.

Spencer Burke: Cordy, you will be challenging Chandler Scott for the FGA World Championship? But is there a part of you that wished he lost that title? Is there a part of you that wishes you were challenging Jimmy Page for the title instead?

The question elicits a minor smirk from her. She let’s out a sigh as she ponders it before finally shaking her head.

Cordelia Stevenson: No. But if things would have ended up that way? Well, I wouldn’t have had a problem with it either. You see, I didn’t really have a particular preference. It wasn’t about Chandler, and it wasn’t about Jimmy. It’s about the FGA World Championship. And truth be told I honestly didn’t care who walked out of Glory Road as champion, because there were 29 other competitors that had every intention of keeping me away from whoever that winner was, regardless. My only concern, was making sure that I was the one that awaited the winner, whether it was Chandler or Jimmy.

Spencer Burke: Chandler, is there a part of you that wishes you weren't facing Cordy Stevenson? Is there a part of you that would have preferred to defend your title against any of the other 29 competitors in the Gold Rush Rumble?

Chandler Scott: Is there a part of me that wishes it was anyone but Cordy Stevenson?

Chandler smirks as he looks over at Cordy. He then turns his attention back to Burke.

Chandler Scott: Well I’m sure that Ms. Mouth Almighty over there would have you think that I was having a conniption fit after she won the Gold Rush Rumble. I’m sure she’d love to have people think that I was dreading another matchup between her and I. But no, there’s actually no one I’d rather face than Cordy Stevenson. That might come as a surprise to you, Burke. It might even come as a surprise to you, Cordy. But here’s the deal. Two times we’ve met already, right? Whether you want to admit it or not, I got the better of you on both of those occasions. Once is happenstance. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a pattern. The pattern here, Burke, is that I’m simply better than Cordy Stevenson. And I can’t wait to prove it for a third…

Chandler looks over at Cordy.

Chandler Scott: … and final time.

Chandler smirks at Cordy before turning back to Burke. Cordy shakes her head and mouths under her breath.

Cordelia Stevenson: Yeah, we’ll see about that one. You’re going to wish it wasn’t me.

Spencer Burke: This has to be without a doubt the biggest match that FGA has produced in quite some time. Some might say ever. Is there a part of you that's nervous? Is there a part of you that's scared of going out there and failing?

Cordelia Stevenson: I’m terrified.

The bluntness of her response seems to catch Spencer by surprise.

Cordelia Stevenson: I’m not afraid to admit it. You know, it really irks my nerves when people try to put on this front as if they aren’t afraid of anything; as if they have no insecurities. That’s just so fake and phony to me. I’m human, and I have my fears. But people always look at fear and they have this misconception of it, as if it’s always this great paralytic that holds you in place and prevents you from doing something, and that isn’t always the case. Sometimes fear can be the greatest motivator. Sometimes fear, can lead you to do things that you never even thought you were capable of doing to begin with, you know what I mean? It’s all in how you handle it. Now, I’ve been in this position before Spencer, and I failed miserably. So I know how it feels, and I know that I don’t ever want to feel that again. Now I know the situation and the circumstances are much different this time around, but that dark place that I fell into? I still associate it with failure on a platform like this, and I don’t ever want to be there again. So I use that fear as motivation daily.

Chandler Scott: Well I suggest you get used to that feeling of failure because it’s about to rear it’s ugly head in about two weeks.

Chandler turns back to Burke.

Chandler Scott: Burke, I am Chandler Scott. The DNA of FGA. Your World Champion. I have done things in this business that people like this one across the table simply isn’t capable of doing. Name me a person that’s beaten me since my return? Oh that’s right, you can’t. Name any of the so-called top stars of FGA. If they haven’t been beaten by me, it’s because they’ve been fortunate enough not to cross my path. Do I want to go out there and lose? Do I want to have someone like Cordy defeat me for this title? Do I want to go out there and fall flat on my face? Of course not. But fear? Fear, Burke? IF I were afraid of anything, it would be going too far. I worked too damn hard and too damn long to get this title. I’ve worked even harder and even longer to keep it. So when that bell sounds to start off that World Title Match, I will do everything in my power to make sure that I leave that match the same way I came in. I’m not opposed to knocking each and every single one of her teeth out. I’m not opposed to breaking her down limb by limb. I’m not opposed to breaking that surgically repaired ankle of hers. I will do everything within the rules to walk out of that match STILL the World Champion.

Cordelia shakes her head and turns towards him.

Cordelia Stevenson: I’m glad you’re not opposed to doing any of it, because quite frankly you’re gonna HAVE to, Chandler. And I’m telling you now, that STILL might not be enough. And deep down? You know it.

She points in his direction.

Cordelia Stevenson: Now, you can sit there and tell that bold faced lie all you want about not being afraid, but you know what? The confidence in your tone ain’t shining too brightly in your eyes, sweetheart. And I see that every... single... time… I look at you. They eyes never lie.

Spencer Burke: The fans aren't the only ones looking forward to this match. Your peers here in FGA are pretty excited for this match as well. Two weeks ago at the Las Vegas Tapings, it seemed to me that you've got the support of your peers. Cordy, how does it feel to know that not only do you have the fans behind you, but the locker room as well?

Cordelia Stevenson: Well, let’s keep it one hundred here, Spency. I wouldn’t go as far as saying I’ve got the locker room behind me.

She motions towards Chandler with a nod.

Cordelia Stevenson: Some of them are just against him, and obviously you can see why. I mean he isn’t the most pleasant person around, so who can blame them? And the ones that spoke can’t really give the consensus for the FULL locker room, you know what I mean? But for those that truly do support me and have my back? It means a lot, and I really can’t put it into words, like, just how much. Knowing that there are so many of my peers that actually believe in me? That believe I can reach the pinnacle of this industry? It’s humbling, Spencer. It really is. Cause they know how hard it is to get there man, and to hear that I’ve got the support of so many?

She shrugs.

Cordelia Stevenson: Yeah, it feels amazing.

Spencer nods and directs his attention towards Chandler.

Spencer Burke: Now Chandler, we all know that you have a contentious relationship with the fans. But does it bother you that, out of the grapplers that agreed to go on camera, seemingly every single one of them thinks that Cordy is going to beat you?

Chandler Scott: Does it bother me? No. Does it surprise me? Yes. For instance, let’s take this little hook-nosed witch, Izzy Albers.

Spencer Burke: Izzy Anders…

Chandler Scott: Who is she to be speaking on my match? Who is she to be speaking on the main event? As far as I’m concerned, she hasn’t earned the right to speak on Chandler Scott, let alone the FGA World Championship. It doesn’t even matter that she’s pulling for Cordy. Izzy Amber…

Spencer Burke: Izzy Anders…

Cordy rolls her eyes at Chandler’s blatant disrespect.

Chandler Scott: … like I care. She could have been waving the pom poms and shouting out “GO CHANDLER GO!” for all I care. People like her, who haven’t done anything worth a damn… who are still wet behind the ears… who haven’t put in a fraction of the time that Cordy and I have in this business, should be seen and not heard. She shouldn’t be speaking about things she knows nothing about.

Now as far as everyone else goes? It’s like I told you before, I’m not surprised. Look at each and every single one of them. You knew they weren’t going to be rooting for me. That’s why you specifically sought them out. Each and every last one of them is jealous of everything I’ve accomplished in this company. They’re jealous of the fact that I’m way the hell up here and they’re way the hell down there. If they were actually honest with themselves and admitted that they’re being envious and petty, then I’d actually respect their opinions.

But since they aren’t honest with themselves, they can all go jump off a cliff.

Spencer Burke: There's been a ton of back and forth between you guys seemingly all year. It's gotten testy. Dare I say that at times, it's gotten borderline personal. Cordy, I've got to ask... do you respect Chandler? What do you think of him as a grappler and as a person?

Cordelia shifts in her seat as she ponders the question over.

Cordelia Stevenson: I don’t know Chandler as a person. I’ve never sat down and had a conversation with him or anything of the sort. Now, we have a few mutual friends, and acquaintances, and they seem to think highly of him, so hey, he very well could be a swell guy. But I don’t know that. Doesn’t really matter either. Now professionally? Do I respect Chandler? I respect what he’s done. I respect all that he’s accomplished, because no matter what I may think of him personally, the things he’s done in this business? All that he’s been able to do? It’s been nothing short of amazing. Whether it be here, or abroad? The man’s definitely earned his credentials. There’s a reason why he’s considered a “Godfather of Wrestling”. There’s a reason why he’s sitting here as the FGA World Champion right now, and I would never downplay that. If Chandler Scott has done nothing else, he’s definitely earned my respect as a competitor. And as it stands right now? He is the best wrestler in FGA. But come July 25th? He won’t be anymore. And it’s as simple as that.

Spencer Burke: Chandler, what do you think of Cordy as a grappler and as a person?

Chandler Scott: As a grappler? I would love to sit here and tell you that she’s “just okay” or “nothing special.” But I can admit that Cordy Stevenson is very talented. She’s someone that achieved a certain level of success early in the tag team ranks. Some would say she was carried to those PDW Tag Titles. But hey…

(Chandler reaches over to a nearby cup of tea and takes a quick sip. He then looks over at Cordy and smirks.)

Chandler Scott: She’s someone that was able to overcome a pretty nasty ankle injury. You know, some people wouldn’t be strong enough to come back from something like that. Obviously Cordy doesn’t fall into that category. She didn’t let that injury keep her down. Not only that, but she didn’t let that injury alter her style. You still see her flying all over the place and jumping off the turnbuckles. Granted, that’s going to come back to bite her at All-Star Showdown IV. But we’ll worry about that then…

Cordy’s a hell of a competitor. She’s been near the top of FGA for a while now. She’s got both the last Frontier Lions Cup and the Gold Rush Rumble to her name. I could never take away those things from her. But there is one thing that I will keep away from her, and that’s this World Title sitting right here on the table.

Now what was your other question? What do I think of her personally? I don’t know her personally and don’t really care to, honestly.

Spencer Burke: Cordy, Chandler, I appreciate your time. I appreciate your professionalism. I know it's not easy, given the apparent animosity there is. We're just two weeks away. This is arguably the most eagerly anticipated match in All-Star Showdown history. Cordy, do you have any closing remarks for the champion?

Cordelia Stevenson: Yes, I do actually.

Cordelia slowly turns to face Chandler once more.

Cordelia Stevenson: I’ve always prided myself in being a student of the business, and I’ve always felt that it was vital to get an understanding of those who have found success in it, by watching and learning. Seeing the things they do, the things they did and how they did them. And as I said before, no matter how I may or may not feel about you personally, Chandler; you have been extremely successful in this business; not just here in FGA, but abroad as well. You are where I want to be, and you have…

Her gaze shifts towards the FGA World Championship.

Cordelia Stevenson: … the very thing that I want the most.

She returns her gaze to him, lifting a finger in the air.

Cordelia Stevenson: Now there was an off hand comment that you made to me once, something about showing me how to actually be a World Champion, or become one; something of that nature. And though it was said in jest at my expense… I didn’t take offense to it, no. As a student of the business, I realized that there was a lot that I could possibly learn. So, I decided to take you up on your offer. And I’ve watched you Chandler. I’ve studied you and I’ve taken note of it all. Your tact, your poise, the way you carry yourself and the way you go about business... everything. You see, the thing about me? Is that I’m not egotistical enough to believe that I know it all. I’m always willing to learn. I’m always willing to be a student of the business.

She points at him.

Cordelia Stevenson: Now you, you came back to FGA and you did everything that you said you were going to do; and you’ve let no one get in your way. You showed the world how to get the job done. You showed everyone what it is and what it takes to be... a world champion.

She places her hands over her heart, and nods at him graciously.

Cordelia Stevenson: And I thank you for that; sincerely I do, from the bottom of my heart.

She lowers her hands, and places them back on her lap as her face grows serious.

Cordelia Stevenson: Because on July 25th, I’m going to show you everything that I’ve learned.

Chandler can’t help but to smirk.

Spencer Burke: Chandler, do you have any closing remarks for the challenger?

Chandler Scott: Did you hear that, Burke? I’ve taught Cordy so much. And here she is, all grown up.

Chandler places his hand over his heart and nods at her.

Chandler Scott: I’m so sorry to disappoint you, but the Student will not be surpassing the Teacher at All-Star Showdown IV. You see, you’re not the only one that’s been taking notes. You’re not the only one that’s been willing to learn.

Chandler smirks at Cordy.

Chandler Scott: There’s a reason why I’ve been slowly adding more moves to my arsenal. I don’t just rest of my laurels. I adapt to the challenges and challengers that lay ahead of me. I’ve got my game plan in place. In two weeks time, you’ll see it being executed to a T.

Now I’d love to end this with some long rant. But instead, I’ll just do this…

(Chandler pushes his chair back before rising out of his seat. After snatching his FGA World Championship belt from off the table, he deliberately holds it in front of Cordy’s face before slinging it across his shoulder.)

Chandler Scott: I’d tell you to “Get Familiar.” But the vision of me standing over you… victorious… my title still in hand has already been burned into your memory. At All-Star Showdown IV, it will be my pleasure to deny you this spot at the very top of FGA… again.

Cordy rises to her feet, and steps towards him, looking him dead in the eyes as she gets in his face. Chandler returns the glare, as he pats the title on his shoulder. That is the final image we see, as the scene fades away.
