Dynamic Duos First Round Match
Whiskey Dex vs. Luke Jackson & Jessica Sears
Whiskey Dex vs. Luke Jackson & Jessica Sears
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! It is a First Round Match in the Dynamic Duos Tournament! Introducing first, from Oakland California! Weighing in at 165 pounds! He is LUKE “THE KID” JACKSON!
Luke comes out with a huge smile on his face basking in the glory of wrestling. He has a black wife beater on and backwards Oakland As' cap on. He slaps the hands of fans on his way down to the ring.
In a sporadic moment, the arena lights go out and the fans rise in heightened anticipation. An animated AI voice resonates an important announcement.

Silence. The fans are stirring in high anticipation of what comes next. That’s when the introduction of “Plane to Spain” by Basshunter kickstarts from the speakers and the gaming techno builds the hype of the fans. Soon a single spotlight shines down on the stage and reveals Jessica Sears wielding her Captain America shield with her right arm and holding her Eternal Tiare in her right hand. The fans cheer with excitement and she beams at them. She moves down on her left knee and balances the Eternal Tiare in both hands. She spins herself around in a 180-degree turn, her T.A.R.D.I.S. skirt flowing, and reveals the angel wings on the back of her Daryl Dixon jacket. She whirls around to face forward, the camera getting a shot of her Squall Leonhart Griever necklace and her blue R.P.D. blouse. Holding the Eternal Tiare high, the fans are going wild!
J.A. Aldridge: And his partner, now residing out of New York City, New York! Weighing in at 106 pounds! She is the “CuteGamingBlonde”... JESSICA SEARS!
Jessica grins as she makes her way down the ramp in her glow-in-the-dark Green Lantern Converse, tagging as many of the fans as she possibly can. She circles around the ring to continue interacting with the fans a little longer before she makes a complete circle. She ascends the steel steps and climbs through the ropes to move to the center of the ring. She raises the Eternal Tiare in her left hand and raises the Captain America shield on her right arm before she crosses them, the shield behind the tiare. Slowly the lights return as the fans cheer for her. Jessica then proceeds to relinquish the shield, the tiare, the necklace, and the jacket for an official standing by. She smiles as she hops onto one of the turnbuckles and waits patiently yet readily for the match to begin.
Kris Cruise: The team of Luke Jackson & Jessica Sears have a big test ahead of them in our fourth and last match in the first round of the Dynamic Duos Tournament.
Stephy Auger: You've got that right. They're pretty much at a disadvantage on all fronts. But I don't expect these kids to go down without a fight. They'll give Whiskey Dex everything they've got and then some.
“Pool of Booze, Booze, Booza” hits over the loudspeakers, the lights dimmed somewhat as the opening guitars kick in. When the verse begins, Dexter Jacobs steps out from the entryway, with Whiskey Ayano following just behind. The two share a glance before Whiskey produces a bottle of hard liquor and a lighter. She takes a swig and holds up the lighter, creating a large gout of flame as she spits it out into the air. Dex merely shakes his head, rolling his eyes at the display before cracking his neck and heading down to the ring, Whiskey taking a moment to pose before coming down as well.
J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents, weighing in at a total combined weight of 421 pounds! They are the team of Whiskey Ayano and Dexter Jacobs, WHISKEY DEX!
Dex slides in and immediately heads to the corner, where he mounts the turnbuckles and raises a fist in the air as Whiskey follows suit, leaning on the ropes near him and taking another swig. She offers a pull to Dex as he hops down off the ropes, and depending on his mood, he’ll either accept and take a swig or brush her off before the two take a moment to prepare before the match begins.
Kris Cruise: If you were going to ask people which team was likely to explode and turn on each other before this tournament began, Whiskey Dex would probably have won in a landslide.
Stephy Auger: Definitely. You can still feel the tension in the air between these two. But unfortunately for their opponents, these two have bonded over being pissed off, screwed over and spat upon. While they don't have the opportunity to get back at those people in this ring tonight, they're looking to have Luke & Jess serve as adequate replacements.
The bell sounds as Whiskey locks in on Jackson while Dex flashes Sears a grim sneer. Both Jackson & Sears look at each other before taking a few steps back.
Kris Cruise: Uh oh. I think Luke and Jessica just realized they might be in over their hands.
Stephanie Auger: I can’t say I blame them. if I saw Whiskey Ayano and Dexter Jacobs staring across the ring at me, I’d be nervous, too.
Whiskey Dex begin to march across the ring. Before they can even attack Jackson & Sears, their opponents drop and roll to the outside. But Whiskey Dex aren’t about to let Jackson & Sears create distance between the two teams. So they head to the outside.
Kris Cruise: Luke and Jess looked like they were trying to create some space. But Whiskey Dex quickly sniffed that plan out.
Stephanie Auger: Yeah, these two aren’t about to give Luke and Jess any breathing room.
After Jackson & Sears roll back in, Whiskey Dex do the same. As Dex gets back to a vertical base, Jackson & Sears run over and connect with a double dropkick, sending him stumbling through the ropes and to the floor to cheers from the crowd. Whiskey then runs over at the two. But Jackson & Sears knock her down with a double dropkick as well. They then pick up Whiskey and whip her into the ropes. But instead of coming back, Dex yanks her down to the canvas and pulls her out of the ring. He then rolls back into the ring, where he’s greeted with stomps by Jackson & Sears.
Kris Cruise: What did he do that for?
Stephanie Auger: I think he took exception to them knocking him out of the ring. If anyone is going to get a crack at Luke and Jess first, it’s going to be Dexter.
Jackson & Sears pick up Dex and whip him into the ropes. When he comes back, Jackson & Sears bend over to set up a double back body drop. But Dex stops and kicks Sears square in the face, knocking her down. Jackson sees this, so he stands up. Dex then lunges forward with a clothesline, but Jackson ducks. Dex then turns and throws a hard hook at Jackson’s head. But Jackson ducks. Dex then takes another swipe at Jackson but again, Jackson ducks.
Kris Cruise: Luke better be lucky he’s missing these hard shots or else his head would be about ten rows in the audience right now.
When Dex turns around, Jackson connects with a dropkick. But Dex only stumbles back. So Jackson runs over and connects with another dropkick. But again, Dex only stumbles back. So Jackson goes for a third dropkick. But Dex side steps and swats him down. Jackson tries to get up on all fours, but Dex nails him with a kick to the ribs.
Stephanie Auger: Luke tried to go to the well one too many times there and Dexter made him pay.
Dex reaches down, picks up Jackson by the back of the neck, runs into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He slams Jackson so hard that Jackson ends up bouncing back and falling to the canvas. So Dex goes over, yanks up Jackson and flings him back into the corner. He then marches back over to Jackson and doubles him over with an uppercut to the body. Dex then stands up Jackson before rocking him with a back elbow to the jaw. He then unleashes a series of right and left hooks to the body. Dex then takes Jackson and whips him into the opposite corner. Dex runs across the ring, but Jackson nails him with a boot to the face. As Dex stumbles back, Jackson heads from out of the corner and bounces off the ropes. When he comes back, Dex throws him down with a snap powerslam. The crowd cheers as he hooks the leg.

Dex picks up Jackson and places him in a side headlock. As Dex cinches in the hold, the ref asks Jackson if he wants to give up. But Jackson refuses to quit. He then tries to push Dex off of him, but it’s to no avail. Jackson tries to shove Dex off of him a second time but again, it’s to no avail. Whiskey then reaches over and delivers a hard slap across Dex’s back, tagging herself in. Once the Deep-South Dragon gets back in the ring, she delivers a hard shot to the body. She then delivers a snapmare, followed by a soccer kick to the back. She then delivers a shoot kick to the chest, knocking Jackson flush against the canvas before delivering a knee drop. She makes the cover.

Stephanie Auger: This match has been all Whiskey Dex since the get go. What do Luke and Jessica need to do to turn the tide?
Kris Cruise: This is going to be hard for them. You combine the experience of Luke and Jess and it doesn’t equal Whiskey or Dexter, so they’re at a disadvantage there. They’re not going to win a brawl against either of these two, so that’s another disadvantage. They’ve definitely got speed over Whiskey Dex. But the two of them have grounded Luke for the early portion of this match. They’re technically a better team in the fact that they’ve teamed longer and know how to get along. But again, Whiskey Dex have effectively cut off the ring. So I don’t know.
Whiskey picks up Jackson and whips him into the ropes, where Sears makes the bling tag. When Jackson comes back, he slides through Whiskey’s legs. When Whiskey turns around, Jackson gets up and runs at her. Whiskey throws a Uraken backfist. But Jackson ducks and slides out underneath the bottom rope. When Whiskey turns around, Sears knocks her down with a springboard dropkick to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Stephanie Auger: The team of Luke and Jess are now starting to gain a little momentum here!
Sears picks up Whiskey and goes for an irish whip. But Whiskey reverses, sending Sears into the ropes. When Sears comes back, Whiskey throws her down with a Japanese arm drag. Sears gets back up, but Whiskey sends her back down with another Japanese arm drag. When Sears gets back up, Whiskey takes her down with a Fujiwara armbar. The crowd cheers as Whiskey pulls back on the arm. But Sears is fairly close to the ropes. So she reaches her right leg over and places it on the bottom rope. The ref then gives Whiskey until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR....
Whiskey breaks the hold. After picking up Sears and moving her into the corner, she unleashes a series of shoot kicks to the midsection. She then brings Sears from out of the corner, wrenches her arm and reaches her hand out for the tag.
Dex tags in with a hard slap across Whiskey’s palm. He then steps back in and delivers a nasty shot to Sears’ liver, sending her crumbling down on all fours. After a stomp to the back of the head, Dex brings Sears back to feet and shoves her into the corner. After a series of knee strikes to the midsection, he brings Sears from out of the corner and whips her into the ropes. When Sears comes back, he throws out a wild swipe at her head. But Sears ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she gets knocked down by a back elbow to the face. Dex then drops down and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Sears got rocked by that back elbow to the jaw. But she got her shoulder up at two. This is the final match in the first round of the Dynamic Duos Tournament. The winners here will go on to face the team of Chris Bond & Jason Bronco in the semifinals. Who do you think Bond & Bronco would prefer to face?
Stephanie Auger: Well they pulled off the upset tonight against the heavily favored Knights of Anarchy. I feel like since they beat them, they feel like they could beat any team left in this tournament. With that being said, they’d probably want to face Luke and Jess.
Dex picks up Sears and lifts her in the air. After holding her in place for a good 10 seconds, Dex falls back, completing the stalling vertical suplex as the crowd applauds. As Sears lays helpless on the apron, Dex gets up and circles her before delivering a Garvin Stomp. He then heads back over and tags Whiskey back in. Once Whiskey gets in, Dex picks up Sears and whips her into the ropes. When she comes back, Whiskey Dex deliver Hang Em High. Whiskey makes the cover.

Sears picks up Whiskey and whips her into the ropes. But instead of bouncing back, Whiskey hangs onto the ropes. So Sears runs over to attack. But Whiskey ducks and dumps Sears over the top rope and to the floor.
Stephanie Auger: Sears with a bit of a hard fall to the outside. That could spell bad news for her and Luke, depending on her hurt she is.
Kris Cruise: What’s Whiskey setting up for here?
As Sears gets up on the outside, Whiskey steps out onto the apron. She then runs along the apron before going for a rolling plancha. But Sears moves out of the way, causing Whiskey to crash onto the floor. The crowd cheers as Whiskey arches her back on the floor.
Kris Cruise: Whiskey looked to take out Sears with that rolling plancha. But Sears wisely got out of the way.
As Whiskey gets up on the floor, Sears climbs up onto the apron. After looking back at Whiskey, she knocks her down with the Wings of Kennedy to cheers from the crowd. She then picks up Whiskey, rolls her back into the ring, rolls herself back in and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Great display of strength there by Jacobs. But Jackson got his shoulder up at two.
Stephanie Auger: It seems like every time Luke and Jess start to get even the slightest bit of momentum, Whiskey Dex are right there to cut him off. For a team that’s never tagged before, they seem to be working surprisingly well here tonight.
Kris Cruise: Which is surprising, given that most thought these two would implode before the opening bell.
Dex picks up Jackson and nails him with a knee to the midsection, doubling him over. He then runs into the ropes. When Dex comes back, he goes for a running knee lift. But Jackson moves out of the way and hooks Dex’s arms from behind. Dex grits his teeth as he tries to block the move. But he’s unsuccessful as Jackson surprisingly wins the power struggle, bringing im down with a back slide.

As Dex picks up Jackson, Jackson begins to nail him with a series of punches to the midsection. But Dex quickly cuts him off with a knee lift that knocks him down. He then reaches down and tries to pick up Jackson. But again, Jackson begins to nail him with rights and lefts to the midsection. So Dex grabs him by the hair, holds him up and nails him with a headbutt to the bridge of the nose, knocking him back down. After a stomp to the midsection, Dex picks up Jackson and whips him into the ropes. When Jackson comes back, Dex goes to deliver a Double A Spinebuster. But on the way up, Jackson nails him with an elbow to the head, forcing Dex to drop him. Jackson then begins to deliver several stiff kicks to the right leg. Jackson continues to unleash the kicks until he successfully chops down Dex to one knee. He then runs into the ropes. After picking up Whiskey, Jackson whips her into the ropes. When she comes back, he goes to set up a back body drop. But Whiskey stops, lifts him up and plants him with a piledriver.
Stephanie Auger: Whiskey drops him right on his head with that piledriver. That might be all she wrote for The Kid…
Whiskey then heads into the corner and hoists herself up onto the second rope. She motions for The Shot Glass. But Sears runs over and connects with a jumping yakuza kick, sending Whiskey over the top rope and to the floor to cheers from the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Whiskey with the hard fall to the outside!
Stephanie Auger: I know she’s as tough as they come. But that’s going to hurt anyone, including her.
Sears then steps out onto the apron and waits for Whiskey to get up. When Whiskey finally gets back to her feet, Sears connects with a double springboard plancha to cheers and applause from the crowd.
Kris Cruise: What a display of athleticism right there from Sears!
Stephanie Auger: And this crowd loved every second of it!
As Sears climbs back up onto the apron, Dex marches over to attack. But Sears ducks and connects with a shoulder thrust, sending him stumbling back. She then goes to follow up with a springboard forearm smash. But Dex catches her in mid air and counters with a Double A Spinebuster.
Kris Cruise: My goodness! Did you see how hard he threw her down onto the canvas!
Stephanie Auger: I’m surprised Jess wasn’t throw through the canvas!
As Dex tries to get back to his feet, Jackson comes out of nowhere and connects with the Oakland Drive By.
Kris Cruise: Down goes Jacobs!
Jackson then steps out through the ropes and begins to scales the turnbuckles. When he gets to the top, he calls for the Oakland Splash. But Whisky climbs up onto the apron and yanks him down, crotching him up on the top turnbuckle.
Kris Cruise: Desperate save there by Whiskey!
Stephanie Auger: Luke’s voice may be higher than Jess’ after that one.
After Jackson flips over and falls down in the corner, Whiskey steps back in through the ropes and heads towards the center of the ring. She then charges into the corner before connecting with the corner cannonball to cheers from the crowd.
When Whiskey goes to pick up Sears, Sears jumps up and rocks her with a European Uppercut. She then takes Whiskey and goes for an irish whip. But Whiskey reverses, sending Sears into the ropes. When Sears comes back, Whiskey Dex deliver a drop toe hold/basement dropkick combo. As Whiskey tries to get back up, Dex grabs her around the waist and launches her into Jackson, delivering The Fastball Special.
Stephanie Auger: Dex just flung Whiskey with reckless abandon into Luke. I don’t even think Whiskey knew that one was coming.
Kris Cruise: But it worked…
After Whiskey makes her way out of the corner, Whiskey Dex proceed to circle Sears as she tries to get back up. The two then charge at her from opposite directions, delivering the Highs and Lows. Dex then picks up Sears, hooks both of her arms and lifts her up over his shoulder. The duo then deliver Whiskey Bent And Hell Bound to cheers from the crowd. Whiskey makes the cover.

The ref stands in between Dex and Whiskey and raise their arms as the crowd cheers.
Kris Cruise: Whiskey Dex pick up the victory, securing themselves a spot in the semifinals!
Stephanie Auger: Whiskey Dex were the favorite coming into this match. But Luke and Jess didn’t back down at all. They brought the fight to Whiskey Dex like few thought they could. I’m proud of these two.
Kris Cruise: They definitely have nothing to be ashamed about. So now, the stage has been set. In two weeks, we will pick up with the semifinals of the 2015 Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament! In one match, you have the winners of this match, Whiskey Dex, taking on the team of Chris Bond and Jason Bronco! In the other semifinal match, you have The Herreras, Dan and Hadley Herrera going up against the team of Vanagloria, Kitty Sasso and Christian Kane! I could see any of these teams making it to the finals. But we will find out for certain who advances and who doesn’t in two weeks when FGA makes its debut in Prescott, Arizona!
