MAIN EVENT
Cordy Stevenson vs. Chandler Scott
The sound of an organ plays throughout the arena as the fans turn their attention to the entrance way. As "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple kicks in, the crowd begins to boo, jeer and show various other forms of displeasure. At around the 30 second mark, Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain as the crowd really begins to let him have it.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, from Hynannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 245 pounds! He is the self-proclaimed “DNA of FGA” CHANDLER SCOTT!
After scanning the crowd, Chandler raises his index finger in the air, letting everyone know who is truly "number one." He keeps a smug look planted on his face as he swaggers down to the ring. After climbing up onto the apron, Chandler steps through the ropes, climbs up onto the second ropes and slowly raises his fist in the air as he absorbs the crowd's disdain for him.
Kris Cruise: The self-proclaimed DNA of FGA has drawn the attention and the ire of his fellow wrestlers since returning a few months back. He’s made it his goal to regain the FGA World Championship. But it looks like he isn’t getting the one on one match that he wanted.
Stephy Auger: No, he’s going to have to go through more than just Jimmy Page if he wants to be champion. But he can’t concentrate on that now. He’s got to stay focused on Cordy Stevenson, who knows that a victory over him would be a feather in her cap.
The lights dim down and take on a purplish hue as a light smoky mist fills the entranceway. The opening chorus to “Skeletons” by Joe Budden begins to play throughout the arena as a shapely silhouette can be seen taking form in the mist.
I got some skeletons locked in the closet (yeah, yeah)
And I've been dyin', dyin' just to find an outlet
And I'm hoping that no one finds out about it (yeah, yeah)
Wishing maybe it'll disappear but I doubt it
I doubt it
As the beat drops, the crowd gives a loud pop as Cordelia Stevenson slowly emerges, removing her hoodie from her head. She comes to a stop, glancing around and taking in the reception before giving the crowd a warm smile. She rolls her neck around before bowing her head and letting her hair fall in front of her face. A few seconds go by before she snaps her head up, whipping her hair back from in front of her face. Her eyes lock in on the ring and she marches towards it with a determined stride.
J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Freeport, Long Island! Weighing in at 146 pounds… CORDY STEVENSON!
Once she gets to the ring, she climbs up onto the apron and walks around the side, and towards the middle. She turns and faces her crowd, stretching her arms out to the side and slightly tilting her head backwards as she soaks in their reaction. She gives them an appreciative nod and blows a kiss at them, before stepping into the ring and making her way over towards the opposite turnbuckle. She quickly hops up and holds her arms out, drawing a reaction from that side of the crowd as well. She unzips her hoodie and tosses it away before hopping down and making her way over to her corner as the music dies down.
Kris Cruise: 2014 didn’t end the way that Cordelia Stevenson had hoped. She didn’t win the FGA World Champion, nor was she able to help Team FGA defeat the Infinite Empire at Final Frontier. But she’s got an opportunity to kick off 2015 with a big with a win over Chandler Scott.
Stephy Auger: Only two men have pinned Cordy one on one here in FGA. Both of those men were the last two World Champions. She’s proven time and time again that she’s a tough out. There’s no doubt in my mind that she’ll be Chandler’s toughest test since he’s come back to FGA. If the playing field stays even, I don’t think it’s a test that Chandler will pass.
The bell sounds as both competitors make their way towards the center of the ring. After exchanging words, Chandler turns away, only to try and cheap shot Stevenson with a right hand. But Stevenson ducks. When Chandler turns around, Stevenson lights him up with a series of right hands to cheers from the crowd. She then grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Chandler reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Stevenson comes back, Chandler bends over to set up a back body drop. But Stevenson hurdles over him, causing some “oohs” and “ahs” from the crowd. She continues to run into the ropes. When Stevenson comes back, Chandler knocks her down with a Textbook Drop. But instead of going for the cover, Chandler pops up and turns on his heel as he spreads his arms out, eliciting boos and jeers from the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Look at him! Instead of going for the pin, he’s in there taunting.
Stephy Auger: Are you surprised? He’s done nothing but overlook Cordy since he’s come back to FGA.
Chandler picks up Stevenson and whips her into the ropes. When Stevenson comes back, Chandler goes for a clothesline. But Stevenson ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Chandler goes for a back elbow to the face. But again, Stevenson ducks and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she takes Chandler down with a side headlock takeover. Chandler gets back up, but Stevenson throws him down with an arm drag. Chandler gets back up, but Stevenson runs over and connects with a dropkick, sending him stumbling through the ropes and to the floor. As Chandler slowly gets up on the outside, Stevenson hops up and down as she waves her arm up, trying to rile up the crowd.
Stephy Auger: She’s setting up for something, Kris...
As the fans begin to stand up, Stevenson runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she motions for a suicide plancha. But she puts on the breaks as Chandler scurries out of the way, causing an outbreak of boos from the crowd.
Kris Cruise: And there goes Chandler, running away!
After he heads up the steps, Chandler wipes his feet off on the apron before stepping back into the ring. He begins to circle the ring before stopping. He sizes Stevenson up before inching his way over towards her. Chandler goes to initiate a lock up. But Stevenson ducks under and applies a waist lock from behind. Chandler quickly reaches back, catching Stevenson in the jaw with an elbow. He then performs a standing switch and reverses into a waist lock of his own. Stevenson reaches down and tries to pry Chandler’s arms from around her. But it’s to no avail. He then hoists her up and throws her down with a waist lock takedown. After Stevenson pushes herself up onto all fours, Chandler hoists her back up to her feet before throwing her back down with another waist lock takedown. After spinning around across Stevenson’s back, he applies a side headlock. But Stevenson slips out and reverses into a hammerlock.
The ref asks Chandler if he wants to give up. But Chandler refuses to quit. As he battles his way back up to his feet, he reaches back and grabs Stevenson by the hair. The crowd boos as Chandler yanks her forward, throwing her down to the canvas with a modified snapmare. As Stevenson gets back up, Chandler grabs her and takes her down with the traditional snapmare. He quickly applies a neck crank.
Kris Cruise: Chandler now looking to snap the neck of Cordy Stevenson.
Stephy Auger: I’m a bit surprised Chandler’s looking to apply a submission already. Though she has gotten the better of him so far, so maybe slowing down the pace is good for him.
The ref kneels down and asks Stevenson if she wants to give up. But Stevenson refuses to quit. So Chandler quickly jerks the neck, sending a quick jolt of pain throughout Stevenson’s spine. The ref asks her again if she wants to give up. But Stevenson still refuses to quit.
Crowd: CORDY! CORDY! CORDY! CORDY!...
Stevenson slowly turns over onto her knees before getting up to her feet. She then nails Chandler four times in the midsection, breaking the hold. While Chandler is doubled over, Stevenson runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Chandler knocks her down with a lariat takedown. The crowd boos as he crawls over and makes the cover.

The ref asks Stevenson if she wants to give up. But Stevenson refuses to throw in the towel. So this causes Chandler to pull back, increasing the pressure.
Kris Cruise: You can see the agony written all over her face.
Stephy Auger: She doesn’t want to give up. But tapping out would stop the pain from getting nay worse.
Stevenson tugs at her hair as she tries to fight through the pain. The ref kneels down and asks her again if she wants to give up. Stevenson responds by shaking her head “no.”
Kris Cruise: Chandler can be heard yelling at her to tap. But Cordy’s doesn’t want to give in to the pressure. She wants to make it to the ropes.
Stevenson places her palms flat on the canvas and slowly pushes herself up off the canvas. She begins to slowly walk towards the ropes as Chandler can’t believe it.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner by countout, CORDY STEVENSON!

Kris Cruise: Cordy gets the win. But this isn’t the way she wanted to win this match. Not at all.
