FGA World Championship Match
(c) Jimmy Page vs. Cordy Stevenson
The lights in the arena dim down a bit and take on a purplish hue. All of a sudden, the opening to Chris Brown's "Fine China" begins to blare through the speakers. The crowd gives a loud pop as Cordelia Stevenson slowly makes her way out onto the ramp, nodding her head to the music.Cordy stands atop the ramp for a brief second taking in the reception before dropping her head down and letting her hair fall in front of her face. As the beat drops, she snaps her head up, sending her hair flying from her face. She then sashays towards the ring, lip synching and playfully bouncing to the music as she reaches out and slaps hands with the fans.
Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. And it is for the FGA World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger! From Freeport, Long Island! Weighing in at 146 pounds… CORDY STEVENSON!
Once she gets to the ring, she walks up onto the apron and blows a bunch of kisses back out at the crowd before seductively ducking in between the ropes and stepping into the ring. She quickly makes her way over towards the turnbuckle, climbing up and interacting with the fans a bit more before hopping down and stretching in preparation for the opening bell as her music fades out.
Clement: Tonight isn’t about titles for Cordy Stevenson. Tonight isn’t even about respect. It’s about revenge. Over the past month, Jimmy Page has turned her world upside down. The mind games were bad enough. But then, to do what he did to Cyncity nearly a month ago by clobbering her in the head with a steel chair.... a chair shot that gave her a concussion… that was enough for Cordy Stevenson. Cordy nearly made sure that Jimmy Page didn’t even make it to Capital Combat with the way she beat on him two weeks ago.
Grayson: Yeah, I have never seen that side of Cordy Stevenson before. She’s someone that has been pushed to the edge. She says that Jimmy Page ruined this for her. This is was supposed to be a great night for her. But like you said before, the title isn’t her number one priority tonight. It’s hurting Jimmy Page the same way he hurt her and her best friend, Cindy Parker.
The familiar eerie cue up from, "They Are Lost" by Last Remaining Pinnacle begins, it continues for ten seconds, the lights die down. Suddenly, a guitar plays, the lights strobe red. Suddenly guitars and drums kick in, signalling "Born of a Broken Man" by Rage Against The Machine, the lights become wild, flashing red. A silhouette of Jimmy Page blasts through the curtains, his controlled stagger and all. He slowly raises his head, the camera zooms in and captures his stoic expression is seen through the flashing red lights. He looks around chewing frantically on a piece of gum as he stalks his way down the ramp. His eyes glare around as he stops at the end of the ramp.
Cruz: And her opponent… from Flint, Michigan! Weighing in at 230 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA World Champion…. JIMMY PAGE!
He scowls for a moment, then goes to the front of the ring. Page takes a running start and slides onto the apron, stopping in the middle. His berates the crowd with insults, pointing at everyone in the arena, telling them all off. He spits his gum out towards them, then gets inside of the ring, goes to his left, and stands on the turnbuckle, arms out, and letting out a primal shout. The fans boo him as he looks around with his usual scowl.
Clement: We always knew the man was dark. We always knew the man was dangerous. But he had no idea just how sick Jimmy Page was until his actions over the past month. Calling the man deranged wouldn’t even do it justice. In his warped reality, he thought that him and Cordy could have been together. He thought he could have loved her, as if he was even capable of such an emotion. And when Cordy turned him down, he snapped. He showed the world that all of his talk about “changing” was nothing but a lie. When page got turned down, we saw the monster unleashed. Tonight, Cordy will look to slay that monster.
Grayson: And she’s going right after him!
The bell sounds as Cordy runs across the ring and nails Page with a series of clubbing shots to the head and neck.
Clement: Cordy’s wasting no time going right after Jimmy Page!
Page stumbles into the adjacent corner. But Cordy doesn’t let up as she’s right there to continue her assault. She turns Page around and unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. She then takes Page and whips him into the opposite corner. Cordy then runs across the ring and connects with a dropkick. Cordy heads back to the center of the ring, only to turn around, run into the corner and connect with another dropkick. After heading back towards the center of the ring, Cordy runs back into the corner and connects with another another dropkick. This time, Page is sent slumping down in the corner.
After Cordy gets back to her feet, she stands over Page as she unleashes a flurry of right hands to the face. The ref tries to move her back, but Cordy moves the ref out of the way and goes back to punching away at Page. The ref grabs Cordy by the arm and pulls her away from the corner. But Cory yanks her arm away from the ref, marches back into the corner and pounds away on Page’s face. The ref then grabs Cordy from behind and drags her away from Page. This time, Cordy delivers more force as she moves the ref out of her way. She then runs back into the corner and connects with a slingshot dropkick to cheers from the crowd. Cordy then springboards onto the middle ropes, jumps off and connects with another slingshot dropkick.
Clement: Cordy is like a woman possessed in that ring!
Grayson: I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone that it to Page like Cordy is doing right now.
Cordy grabs the top ropes before standing on Page’s chest. She then begins running in place, stomping away on Page’s chest as the crowd cheers. Cordy steps off, only to choke Page with her foot. She pulls down on both top ropes as the ref starts his count.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Cordy lets go. But only so that she can begin to stomp away at Page’s face. A shot of Page’s face reveals that his nose has been busted open.
Cordy reaches down and picks up Page. After leading him out of the corner, she snapmares Page over and delivers a stiff kick to the back. The crowd cheers as Page arches his back in pain. Cordy then runs over and delivers a stiff kick to the chest, knocking Page down. Page turns over and tries to get up on all fours, but Cordy runs over and delivers a stiff kick to the ribs. Page tries to pushes himself up off the canvas. But Cordy delivers another stiff kick to the ribs. Page again tries to push himself up off the canvas. But Cordy delivers a jumping stomp to the back of the head. Page slowly tries to push himself up off the canvas. But Cordy delivers a kick to the side of the head. She then mounts herself on top of Page, grabs him by the hair with both hands and repeatedly rams him face-first into the canvas.
Clement: Cordy Stevenson is beating the hell out of Jimmy Page! I didn’t think those words would ever come out of my mouth!
Cordy pulls up Page and places him in a modified camel clutch. But instead of putting her palms underneath his chin and pulling back, Cordy reaches forward and gouges Page’s eyes from behind. The ref gives her until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Cordy reluctantly lets go. She then stands up, only to deliver a jumping seated senton across the back of Page. After Cordy steps from over him, Page tries to push himself up off the canvas. But Cordy runs over and delivers another kick to the ribs. This time, Page gets knocked over onto his back. Cordy then quickly drops down and makes the cover.

Clement: Page’s ears must be wringing now.
After Cordy lands on her feet, Page clutches his ears in pain. Cordy then runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Page nearly knocks her head off with Sole Destruction. He makes the cover.

Page grabs Cordy by the hair with both hands, yanks her back up to her feet and and then launches her into the corner. Page marches over to attack. But Cordy comes from out of the corner and nails him with a series of forearm strikes to the face. Page then takes Cordy and shoves her back. When Cordy comes back out of the corner, Cordy is met with a double chop to the throat. Page then grabs her by the hair using both hands and throws her across the ring.
Clement: Page appears to be trying to create some distance between the two. Cordy has been basically mauling him this entire match.
As Cordy slowly gets up, Page comes up from behind and connects with a running big boot, sending Cordy stumbling through the ropes and to the apron. As Page goes over to pick up Cordy, Cordy breaks free and connects with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. She then slingshots herself over the top rope for a sunset flip. The crowd cheers as Page swings his arms wildly. He’s trying his hardest to regain his balance while Cordy tries her hardest to pull him down. But Page wins this battle as he reaches down, grabs Cordy by the neck with both hands and yanks her back up to her feet. After shaking her by the neck like a rag doll, Page shoves her into the corner. Page then runs over to attack. But Cordy nails him with an elbow to the face. As Page stumbles back, Cordy springboards to the top turnbuckle. She flips back, going for a moonsault. But Page moves out of the way by running towards the corner…
… but Cordy lands on her feet! She heads back over towards Page, but Page nails her with a kick to the midsection. He then takes Cordy and whips her hard into the corner. Cordy “Flair Flips” over the corner and lands hard on the outside.
Clement: Did you hear that!?
Grayson: The momentum sent Cordy flipping over the turnbuckles and to the floor. She looks like she’s hurt, Kev...
Page drops and rolls to the outside. He can be seen waving up Cordy with one arm. Once Cordy gets up and runs across the ring, Page runs down ringside, dives forward and connects with the Trauma Symphony, knocking Cordy back into the barricade. The crowd boos.
Page goes over, pulls up Cordy by the hair and then throws her against the barricade with a mat slam. A loud smack can be heard as the back of Cordy’s head connects with the barricade. Cordy continues to stumble around ringside until she stumbles against the ring post. Again, Page grabs her from behind. He goes to slam her face-first onto the ring post. But Cordy gets her foot on the post, blocking the move. After an elbow to the midsection, Cordy grabs Page, pulls back and then slams his face against the ring post to cheers from the crowd. Page stumbles around ringside until he stumbles against the barricade. Cordy comes up from behind and rolls him back into the ring.
As Cordy climbs up onto the apron, Page gets up and nails her with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. While Cordy is doubled over, Page grabs her and leads her upper body through the ropes. After stepping back, Page then nails her with repeated knees lifts.
Clement: page with a barrage of knee lifts to the face!
Grayson: Every time Cordy’s back bounces off the top rope, she falls into another knee lift from Page....
As Cordy dangles helplessly across the middle rope, Page runs into set of ropes. When he comes back, he connects with Trauma Symphony to the side of the head, knocking Cordy back into the ring. He makes the cover.

Clement: Come on, ref, those are closed fists!
Page goes for another punch. But this time, Cordy reaches out and grabs his wrist with both hands. She then shoves the fist back, causing Page to get hit in the face by his own fist. After a series of alternating shoot kicks to the legs, Cordy connects with a basement dropkick, knocking Page down to one knee. Clement: Cordy drives Page head-first into the canvas, but it only gets two. Cordy has shown a more aggressive side in this match. But how far is she willing to go?
Cordy picks up Page, grabs him from the side and delivers a russian leg sweep. After rolling back and getting up to her feet, Cordy steps through the ropes and begins to scale the turnbuckles. But once she’s near the top, Page turns over, gets up, grabs Cordy and launches her towards the center of the ring. The crowd boos as Cordy can be seen arching her back in pain. As Cordy slowly turns over and gets back up to her fete, Page runs over and connects with a running big boot to the face. As Cordy slowly turns over and tries to get up to her feet, Page comes back with another running big boot. This time, to the side of the head. After Cordy is sent stumbling across the ring, she slowly gets up and sits down on the bottom rope. As Cordy turns to look at Page, Page runs over and connects with another running big boot. Page’s kick sending Cordy through the ropes and hard to the floor.
Clement: Page literally kicking Cordy around, then out of the ring.
Grayson: Page hasn’t dominated this match. In fact, it’s been Page that’s been dominated. But now, Page is the one that’s standing. He’s starting to gain control of this match and that is not good news if you’re Cordy Stevenson.
After rolling to the outside, Page goes over and peels back the protective mat, exposing the concrete floor underneath.
Clement: This isn’t good, Evan.
Grayson: No it is not...
Page goes over, picks up Cordy and positions her for a powerbomb onto the concrete…
Clement: No, no, no, no, no, Page, no!
… but Cordy counters with a back body drop. The crowd cheers as Page arches his back in pain.
While Page is down, Cordy rolls into the ring and slowly gets up. She then runs into the ropes as Page can be seen getting up on the outside. When Cordy comes back, she goes for a baseball slide. But Page blocks the move. After hooking his arms over her legs, Page yanks Cordy from off the canvas and then swings her against the barricade in one smooth motion. The crowd in the front row jump back as Cordy’s body collides with the barricade. The crowd boos as Cordy looks to be hurt.
Clement: Page just took Cordy and swung her body into the barricade with ease!
Grayson: Cordy isn’t the only one that’s looking for payback in this one...
Page picks up Cordy, brings her into position, hooks her arms and delivers a double underhook suplex onto the exposed concrete. The crowd boos as Cordy can be heard groaning in pain.
Clement: Did you hear her back collide with that exposed concrete floor!?
Page picks up Cordy, hooks her arms and delivers another double underhook suplex onto the exposed concrete.
Clement: And there he goes again, as if one wasn’t enough!
Page picks up Cordy and hoists her up for a powerbomb onto the concrete…
… but Cordy counters by repeatedly punching Page on the top of the head.
Clement: Cordy counters the powerbomb!
The counter sends Page stumbling back. But he’s still got Cordy up on his shoulders. Before Cordy can roll off or counter with a hurricanrana, Page turns and powerbomb her against the ring post. The crowd boos as Cordy’s back bounces off the post. Cordy then falls stomach-first to the floor.
Clement: Good God...
Grayson: ...
The ref quickly kneels down next to Cordy and checks on her. But Page has no time for that. So he takes the sole of his boot and nudges the ref out of the way, eliciting boos from the crowd. He then reaches down, takes Cordy and rolls her back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, Page takes Cordy and throws her down with a snapmare. He then sits her up and applies a neck crank.
Clement: Page is looking to twist Cordy’s neck like a bottle cap here.
The ref asks Cordy if he she wants to give up. But Cordy refuses to quit. So Page applies a little more torque, causing Cordy to both cringe and groan in pain.
Crowd: CORDY! CORDY! CORDY! CORDY!
Clement: This crowd is trying to rally being Cordy...
Grayson: … but what’s that going to do? They’re not in the ring fighting Page. It’s just her.
The ref asks Cordy if she wants to give up, but again, Cordy refuses to quit. After shaking her fists in unison with the chants. Cordy begins to turn over onto her knees. After slowly getting up to her feet, she delivers four elbows to the midsection, breaking the hold. But before Cordy can make a break for it, Page quickly grabs her and delivers The Paralyzing to boos from the crowd.
