MAIN EVENT
Chris Q vs. Jake Winchester
Chris Q vs. Jake Winchester
"Kashmir" begins to play and Jake Winchester walks out from behind the curtain to cheers. He raises his arms in the air with a cocky grin and then slaps a few hands on his way to the ring.
Cruz: The following contest is your main event of the evening. And it is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Syracuse, New York. Weighing in at 245 pounds.... “Old School” JAKE WINCHESTER!
He makes his way onto the apron and looks out to the crowd, where he grins once again and nods in time with his music for a few moments before he steps into the ring and runs the ropes a few times before his music fades.
Clement: Tonight is a huge opportunity for Jake Winchester. Not only could he snap the undefeated streak of Chris Q, but he could also make one hell of an argument for himself as the true #1 contender for the FGA Championship.
Grayson: He could. But like Chris Q said, he's already beaten Jake Winchester. Granted it was in a tag team match. But a win is a win. And Chris Q is far better than he was back then. So what makes Old Man Winchester think he's got a shot at beating the Big Bad of FGA? What's he going to do, crack him over the head with his walker?
"The Earths Rotation Around the Sun" begins blasting through the speakers. From the top of the entrance way, Chris Q emerges to an extremely negative reaction. Embracing the negativity from the audience, Chris Q makes his way to the ring while getting into the faces of a few fans, taunting them as he holds his FGA Championship belt in their faces.
Cruz: And his opponent, from Lone Oak, Texas. Weighing in at 241 pounds. He is the reigning FGA Champion.... CHRIS Q!
When he gets to the ring, Chris Q slides under the bottom rope and slowly gets to his feet. The fans continue to boo as Chris looks out into the crowd with a cocky smile across his face. Chris Q once again yells at the fans as the music dies down.
Clement: Chris Q, never lacking confidence, is convinced that this match is a forgone conclusion.
Grayson: That's because it will be. Chris Q isn't going to sit back and take it easy now that he's the champion. You heard what the man said. We're going to see a much more aggressive side of Chris Q. And if you've been paying attention over the past four/five months, that is a scary, scary thought.
The bell sounds as Chris Q darts across the ring and clotheslines Jake Winchester to boos from the crowd.
Clement: And the champion wastes no time as he catches Winchester off guard with a clothesline.
Grayson: What did I tell you? He knows that everyone is gunning after him now. So he has to be even more aggressive.
Winchester tries to get up, but Q runs over and knocks him down with another clothesline. The crowd boos. As Winchester gets back up, Q runs over and brings him to the mat with a double leg takedown. He then mounts himself on top of Winchester and unleashes a flurry of right hands to the face. Winchester tries to cover up. But some of the blows still connect. Q then gets up off of Winchester, picks him up, clutches the back of his neck with both hands and delivers a series of knee lifts to the face. He then delivers a clubbing shot to the back of the neck that knocks him back down. The crowd boos. As Winchester gets up on all fours, Q runs over and delivers a stiff kick to the ribs. The crowd boos as Winchester rolls over onto his back. But Q isn't done with his assault just yet. He storms over to Winchester and puts the boots to him, stomping the hell out of him until Winchester rolls out of the ring.
Clement: Chris Q pounced on Winchester as soon as the bell rung. If this is any indication of what's to come going forward, then Chris Bond, Braydon Jones and Camellia D. Magna have one hell of a challenge awaiting them.
As Winchester pulls himself up using the edge of the apron, Q rolls to the outside and delivers a double ax handle smash to the back of the neck. Winchester cringes in pain upon impact. Q then grabs a hold of him and whips him hard into the barricade. Winchester tumbles to the floor and arches his back in pain. The crowd boos as Q barks at him to get up.
Not satisfied with how fast Winchester is moving, Q picks him up and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling himself back into the ring, Q picks up Winchester, runs into the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. Q then mudhole stomps Winchester, sending him slumping down in the corner. While Winchester is in the sitting position in the corner, Q nails him with a flurry of right hands to the face. He then reaches down, picks up Winchester and whips him into the opposite corner. Q charges into the corner and connects with a clothesline. The crowd boos. He then takes Winchester and whips him back into the previous corner. Q charges into the corner and goes for another clothesline. But Winchester moves out of the way, causing Q to crash into the corner. The crowd cheers.
As Q stumbles back, Winchester rolls him up with a school boy.
