Chris Q vs. Leon Corella
[Cue the opening guitar rift for the Muse's "House of the Rising Sun". The Arena lights change to a golden hue. Through those curtains steps none other than Leon Corella...]
#THERE IS....A HOUSE.... IN NEW ORLEANS....#
[....He sports full ring gear, consisting of black and gold tights decorated with a metallic golden skull and red rose on the outer thighs, matching elbow and knee pads, similarly detailed wrestling boots, and heavy white tape from his fists to half the forearm. Despite being tied back in a short, tight ponytail, Strands of short blond hair hang in his face as he scans the crowd with ice blue eyes, his gaze intense and intimidating.]
#TTTHHHEEEEYYYYY CCCCCAAAAALLLLLL THA RRRRIIIISSSSSSIIIINNNNN' SSSSSUUUUUNNN!!!!#
[Leon strolls down the isle, little in the way of fan fair as he makes his way to the ring. Upon arrival, he hops onto the apron and walks the length of it, looking briefly to the crowd before throwing one leg through the ropes, dipping down and walking out onto the canvas.]
R/A: HAILING FROM PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, THIS COMPETITOR STANDS SIX FEET, FIVE INCHES TALL AND WEIGHS IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE POUNDS....
[Front and center he stands, staring hard at the entrance arch with a fierce, steel gaze that withers even the bravest of souls...]
R/A: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE GIVE YOU...
LLLLLEEEEEOOOOOONNNNNN CCCCCOOOOORRRREEEELLLLLAAAAAA!!!
[...His eyes say it all- He's not here to f*** around. He's here to conquer.]
Clement: Leon Corella is singing a much different tune than he was some two weeks ago.
Grayson: Why? Because he finally wizened up and said screw the fans? If you ask me, it's the smartest thing he's ever done. Good job, Leon!
"The Earths Rotation Around the Sun" begins blasting through the speakers. From the top of the entrance way, Chris Q emerges to an extremely negative reaction. Embracing the negativity from the audience, Chris Q makes his way to the ring while getting into the faces of a few fans.
Cruz: And his opponent, from Lone Oak, Texas. Weighing in at 241 pounds, CHRIS Q!
When he gets to the ring, Chris Q slides under the bottom rope and slowly gets to his feet. The fans continue to boo as Chris looks out into the crowd with a cocky smile across his face. Chris Q once again yells at the fans as the music dies down.
Clement: This one is not going to be pretty. These two are going to look to beat the absolute hell out of each other.
Grayson: You'd think these guys were longtime rivals with the little regard that they have for one another. But this will be the first meeting between the two of them. And judging by the amount of damage that gets handed out in this one, it may very well be the last.
The bell sounds as both men circle the ring. They then lock up. After jockeying for position, Q places Corella in a side headlock. Corella then uses strength to shove Q off of him and into the ropes. When Q comes back, Corella goes for a running shoulderblock. But Q only stumbles back. Q smirks as Corella looks him up and down. He then runs back into the ropes. When Corella comes back, he charges forward and delivers a hard running powerslam. But again, Q only stumbles back.
Clement: Corella unable to take Chris Q off his feet in the early goings of this match.
As Q makes his way back over towards Corella, Corella points to the ropes. Q obliges and runs into the ropes. When Q comes back, Corella knocks him down with a dropkick.
Grayson: Nice bait there by Corella.
Q gets back up, but Corella throws him down with an arm drag. Q gets back up, but Corella throws him down with a japanese arm drag. Q gets back up, but Corella throws him down with a falling hip toss. As Q gets back up, Corella throws him to the canvas with a side headlock takedown. Q can be seen hitting the canvas in frustration as Corella cinches in the hold. The ref asks Q if he wants to give up. Once Q refuses to quit, Corella pulls back, increasing the pressure. The ref asks Q again if he wants to give up. But just like the last time, Q refuses to quit. So Corella quickly jerks back, delivering a quick jolt of pain through Q's neck. Q then reaches up with his free arm and grabs Corella by the hair. After pulling Corella's head back, he repeatedly reaches up and knees Corella in the back of the head until the hold is broken.
As both men slowly get up to their feet, Q darts over, delivers a double leg pick up and rams Corella back-first into the corner. He then unleashes a series of hard shoulder thrusts to the midsection before standing up and delivering a series of elbow strikes to the face. He then reaches over and chokes Corella with both hands. The ref gives him until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: 1...........................2..........................3............................4....................5.
Q quickly releases the hold. He smirks as the ref moves him back and scolds him for not breaking the hold in time. After hearing enough of the ref's complain, he brushes past him and storms back over into the corner. But Corella grabs him, tosses him into the corner and rocks him with a series of stiff European Uppercuts. He then unleashes a flurry of right hands that send Q slumping down into the corner. The ref then scoots in and moves Corella back. After being scolded for using closed fists, Corella brushes past the ref and heads back into the corner. Q then reaches up, pulls himself up using the top ropes and lunges forward, nailing Corella in the face with a headbutt. While Corella is stunned, Q grabs him and slams is head into the top turnbuckle. He then turns Corella around and unleashes another series of elbow strikes to the head. Q then takes Corella and whips him into the opposite corner. Q charges into the corner, but Corella stops him with a European Uppercut. While Q is dazed, Corella tosses him back into the corner and lights up his chest with a blistering series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the arena. But Q then lunges out and gouges Corella's eye, pushing him all the way into the ropes across the ring. The ref quickly runs over and gives him until the count of five to let go.
Ref: 1...........................2........................3...........................4......................
Clement: These two are going at it!
Grayson: There's no punches being pulled in this one. I'm even cringing at some of these hard shots that they're dishing out.
Q reluctantly lets go. The ref then moves him back as he scolds him for using an illegal move. But again, the ref's warnings go in one ear and out the other as Q shoves him to the side. As he makes his way back over to Corella, Corella lunges himself from off the ropes and knocks Q down with a running power clothesline. Corella then repeatedly touches his own eye to check for any blood. Once he sees that he's good, he heads back over to Q and puts the boots to him, stomping away at his chest. Q then rolls to the outside. But Corella won't let him get away that easily. So he steps through the ropes, hops down to the outside, grabs Q and rolls him back into the ring. But as soon as Corella climbs back up onto the apron, Q lunges through the ropes with a shoulder thrust. While Corella is doubled over, Q grabs him and goes for a suplex. But Corella blocks the move. Q tries to suplex him back in but again, Corella blocks the move. After punching Q through the ropes, Corella grabs him and delivers a vertical suplex off the apron and to the floor.
Clement: And Chris Q lands hard on the floor! We usually see people being suplexed back into the ring, but never out!
While Q lays in pain, Corella slowly turns over and gets up on all fours. After crawling over and pulling himself up using the edge of the ring, Corella rolls back into the ring. As Q slowly turns over on the outside, Corella pulls himself up using the ropes. Once he turns and sees Q slowly getting up to his feet, Corella takes off towards the ropes. When Corella comes back, he runs forward and leaps up, connecting with a running suicide plancha that knocks Q down.
Clement: And Corella take it to the air with that dive to the outside!
Grayson: I don't think I've ever seen anyone take it to Chris Q like this!
Corella gets up, picks up Q and rolls him back into the ring. He then rolls himself back in, drags Q away from the ropes and makes the cover.

"The Earths Rotation Around the Sun"blares throughout the building to boos from the crowd.
Cruz: Here is your winner, CHRIS Q!
The ref goes over and raises Q's arm in the air. Q then looks down at the momentum Corella.
Clement: Yet another win in the books for Chris Q.
Grayson: This is wasn't easy. It was close. Real close. Almost too close for comfort.
Clement: Like you said, this was probably the most any of us have seen Chris Q be pushed before in an FGA ring. But Q was able to overcome Corella's attacks and walks out with his spotless record still intact.
