Newark, New Jersey
Jared James, who has cleaned up quite a bit since FRONTIER Grappling Arts last saw him, can be seen leaving the Fleisher Athletic Center after having just attended FGA’s Final Frontier event. Dressed in a full suit, couple with a black bow tie, James seen far overdressed for a civilian attending this event. Yet there he is, Iowa’s Native Son, in the flesh. He walks slowly away from the arena, joined with an unidentifiable friend whom James is chatting with. Just before reaching the parking lot, Jared James can be overheard telling his friend to pull the car around.
Now alone, James walks slowly towards us and away from the hustle and bustle of the masses leaving the Fleisher Athletic Center.
“Walk with me,” James says to the camera operator, and with that the pair begins to walk. “You remember the last time FGA cameras got a glimpse of me? Back at Fear Itself?”
James stops, with the camera operator following his lead, and squares his body so that it is aligned perfectly with the camera. A smile spread across his face, much like the one that made him a superstar back in Connecticut Forum Wrestling in 2010, James seems overjoyed to be back on camera once again.
“Did you really think that was how I was going to let you remember me?” James quips, a playful twinkle flashing in his eyes. “Guess again FGA… because I am back.”
And just like that Jared James turns his back on the camera, with his buddy pulling up his 2005 silver Chevrolet Cobalt at the perfect moment. As James enters the passenger’s seat of the vehicle, the scene slowly fades away to black.
