Shortly after Vertigo has gone off the air, a camera finds Lowri Moss sitting on a crate somewhere backstage. Dressed in a pair of navy blue jeans and a black hoodie, with a trolley case by her feet, Lowri is looking at something on her mobile phone when she is accosted by Amanda Johnson, who calls out to the FGA World Champion.
Amanda Johnson: Hey, Lowri!
Looking up from her phone, Lowri smiles politely as she greets the reporter.
Lowri Moss: Hi, Amanda.
Amanda Johnson: I hadn't realised that you were here tonight.
Lowri places her phone in one of her pockets, before replying.
Lowri Moss: Yeah, I know I didn't appear on the show, I’ve kinda been keeping myself to myself, but I still wanted to be here, if only to support Gareth and to watch his match, especially considering who his opponent was tonight.
That last part causes Amanda to raise an eyebrow.
Amanda Johnson: You mean Nina?
Lowri responds with a nod of her head.
Lowri Moss: Tonight may have been the first time that she explicitly mentioned me by name, but she had already made it clear during previous shows, as well as on Twitter, that her objective is to be the FGA World Champion, and I can assure her, that had not gone unnoticed.
Amanda acknowledges that statement with a nod of her own.
Amanda Johnson: Following the end of the match between her and Gareth, Kris Cruise said that he thought Nina had sent a message with her performance–
She is interrupted in mid-sentence by Lowri.
Lowri Moss: And it was received, Amanda. Loud and clear.
Amanda Johnson: How is Gareth doing, by the way, after what happened earlier?
There is a half-hearted shrug of the shoulders from Lowri, not seeming all that concerned about her other half’s wellbeing.
Lowri Moss: He’ll live.
She leaps off the crate.
Lowri Moss: Nina said that she’s hunting me, Amanda. Good. I’m the FGA World Champion– everyone on the roster should be hunting me and my title; Nina, Seth, Savannah, Owen, Sparrow, TJ–
Now it is Amanda’s turn to interrupt Lowri.
Amanda Johnson: John Carmichael?
Lowri nods once more.
Lowri Moss: Yes, and John Carmichael, of course.
Amanda Johnson: How do you feel about what he did at the end of the last show, attacking you after your match with Fujiko?
Lowri runs a right hand through her hair, before she then proceeds to give Amanda an answer.
Lowri Moss: Two months have passed since it occurred, Amanda, so I’m not as angry about it now as I would’ve been if you had asked me about it immediately afterwards, or a day or two after.
She lets out a sigh.
Lowri Moss: I understand why he did what he did: he wants the World title, obviously. I would’ve preferred that he had made his intentions known in a different way though– thinking about it now, maybe I jinxed myself when I said I was appreciative that Fujiko called her shot by coming out and standing on the stage after my match with Ace at Grapland, rather than by blindsiding me with an attack from behind like others had done in the past.
Another, smaller sigh follows.
Lowri Moss: But I guess he got what he wanted, right? A match with me for the World title, at Only the Strong Survive.
Amanda Johnson: On the subject of the upcoming match between the two of you at Only the Stro–
Lowri suddenly raises a hand, prompting Amanda to pause.
Lowri Moss: Hold that thought.
She retrieves her phone from her jeans and glances at the screen.
Lowri Moss: Gareth is wondering where I am.
After putting the phone back in her pocket again, she then returns her attention to Amanda.
Lowri Moss: Sorry to cut this short, Amanda, but I need to go.
Amanda Johnson: It’s okay, Lowri. I’m sure there’ll be another opportunity to talk to you about your match with John Carmichael before it takes place– hopefully Spencer or Jessie won’t beat me to it!
Amanda and Lowri share a laugh.
Amanda Johnson: Can I just quickly ask you about something else though, before you go?
Lowri gives another shrug.
Lowri Moss: I suppose so - as long as you’re quick.
Amanda Johnson: I noted that recently over in MWE, you vacated their World Championship, and I know that others have noted this as well– is there anything that we should be concerned about?
Lowri places her hand on her hip.
Lowri Moss: I guessed I might get asked about this.
She gazes down at the floor for a moment, before looking back up at Amanda.
Lowri Moss: I’ve said for years, Amanda, that FGA is my home, and all you and everyone else really need to know is that now… FGA is my exclusive home.
She takes her hand off her hip and grabs ahold of the handle of her trolley case.
Lowri Moss: Enjoy the rest of your night, Amanda.
Lowri then smiles at Amanda once more as she wanders off, pulling her case behind her, and the scene cuts away.

As the intro of "One Day Like This" by Elbow plays, a clip airs from Vertigo E30, from back in March of 2017, which shows Lowri Moss standing backstage. She is speaking on camera for the first time in FGA, ahead of her debut later that same night, although the audio has been omitted, so as not to clash with the music. After a couple of seconds, the video changes to the climax of that debut match, showing Lowri hitting Ian Cross with a Nos Da (Rolling Cutter), followed by a three count from the referee, to start off her FGA career with a win. Moving forward two weeks, to the next episode of Vertigo, we see another Nos Da, this time on Jason Hawk, followed by another three count, as Lowri makes it two for two in FGA, and it is at this point that the lyrics begin. “Drinking in the morning sun Blinking in the morning sun” We transition to that year’s Only the Strong Survive, and Lowri’s first appearance in the Gold Rush Rumble; a Palo Alto (Corkscrew Roundhouse Knee Strike) from Sadie San Francisco knocks her off the apron, and to the floor, eliminating her from the match less than two minutes after she had entered it. “Shaking off a heavy one Heavy like a loaded gun” Two months later, at All-Star Showdown VI, Lowri is in a seven man ladder match for the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship– her first title match in FGA. As she and AMIRA fight atop a ladder, NEON and Sadie San Francisco tip the ladder over, sending Lowri and AMIRA flipping off the ladder and crashing through two tables on the outside of the ring, putting an end to any chance either of them had of winning the match. “What made me behave that way? Using words I never say” February of 2018, Vertigo E49, and in a three way dance that also featured Jaelynn Ramsey, Lowri blasts Sadie San Francisco with a Superkick, before then collapsing back-first across Sadie and hooking the near leg to finally, at the fourth attempt, win the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship– not just her first title in FGA, but also the first title of her career as a whole. “I can only think it must be love Oh, anyway, it's looking like a beautiful day” Four months later, on Vertigo E56, the final of the United States Tag Team Championship Tournament concludes with Lowri and the then Neal Durden connecting with a Double Shining Wizard to Joey Perello, as Pendragon beat Reapers in Pride to become the inaugural United States Tag Team Champions, and Lowri becomes only the second double champion in FGA history. “Someone tell me how I feel In silly wrong, but vivid right” Almost a year to the day from winning their first championship together, Lowri and Neal deliver a Double Shining Wizard to Ashlyn De Luca, ending The Chaotics historic reign as FGA World Tag Team Champions, and beginning a record-setting reign of their own. “Oh, kiss me like a final meal Yeah, kiss me like we die tonight” From the main event of Vertigo E76, we see Lowri crash down hard across Tyler Storm with a 450 Splash, to win the Pride Championship, and become a double champion in FGA for a second time. “'Cause holy cow, I love your eyes And only now I see the light” Last year’s Only the Strong Survive is up next, and in a rematch for the Pride Championship, this time it is Tyler Storm who crashes down across Lowri, with a Corkscrew Moonsault, to regain the title that he had lost seven months earlier. “Yeah, lying with you half awake Oh, anyway, it's looking like a beautiful day” Later that same night, a triple threat tag team unification match ends with another Double Shining Wizard from Lowri and Neal, Anastasia Hayden being the recipient this time, as Pendragon beat the Hellcat Spangled Death Squad and Silk & Cyanide to unify the World tag team titles and the United States tag team titles. “When my face is chamois creased If you think I wink, I did” Finally from last year’s Only the Strong Survive, three years on from her first appearance in the Gold Rush Rumble, and after having survived for a record-setting sixty-five minutes, Lowri’s second appearance in the Rumble ends with her last eliminating Evan Envi, to win the match and earn herself a shot at either the FGA World Championship or International Heavyweight Championship. “Laugh politely at repeats Yeah, kiss me when my lips are thin” On the penultimate day of last year, in the International Heavyweight Championship match at All-Star Showdown IX, Cordy Stevenson catches Lowri in an O’Connor Roll, grabbing a handful of tights in the process, to retain her title and leave Lowri sat shocked and disappointed in the ring. “'Cause holy cow, I love your eyes And only now I see the light” Fast forward to this past July, and Lowri last eliminates Izzy Anders to win a second consecutive Gold Rush Rumble, punching her ticket to the main event of All-Star Showdown X. “Yeah, lying with you half awake Stumbling over what to say Well, anyway, it's looking like a beautiful day” Now we come to the present day, to All-Star Showdown X, and to the main event for the Undisputed Championship between Cordy Stevenson and Lowri Moss. The referee signals for the bell, and the champion and challenger then proceed to circle the ring, before locking up and jockeying for position. “So, throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Highlights from the match are shown, the first of which sees Lowri flatten Cordy with a running bicycle knee strike to the face. She makes the cover, but Cordy gets her shoulder up at two. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Cordy picks Lowri up off the canvas and immediately brings her back down with the Deadly Seduction (Rude Awakening). She makes the cover, but Lowri gets the shoulder up at two. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right, for life” With Lowri in the supine position, Cordy steps through her legs, crosses them around hers and blows a kiss to her challenger, before turning Lowri over into a Scorpion Deathlock. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right for life” Lowri drags herself forward. Cordy tries to keep her held in place, but Lowri continues to drag herself towards the ropes. She scratches and claws her way across the canvas, before eventually reaching out, and grabbing the bottom rope. “'Cause holy cow, I love your eyes (One Day Like This a year would see me right) And only now I see the light” Cordy throws out a Rolling Elbow, which Lowri ducks. She then bounces off the ropes and catches Cordy with a Slice of Heaven (Springboard Enzuigiri). After Lowri makes the cover, Cordy gets her shoulder up at two. “(Throw those curtains wide) 'Cause holy cow, I love your eyes (One Day Like This a year would see me right) And only now I see the light” Lowri doubles Cordy over with a boot to the midsection and pulls her into a front facelock. She lifts Stevenson up and plants her with the DNA Driver (Bloody Sunday). Lowri makes the cover, and Cordy gets her shoulder up just in time. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Cordy flips through a running clothesline attempt from Lowri, rebounds off the middle rope, and drops Lowri with The Real Is Back (Springboard Cutter). She makes the cover, but Lowri fires her shoulder up off the mat, just before three. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Lowri places Cordy in an inverted front facelock and brings her down with the Nos Da. She makes the cover, and Cordy gets her shoulder up at the very last moment. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right (For life)” Lowri brings Cordy down with a bridging Tiger Suplex. She then turns Cordy over into the prone position before flipping over into a bridging double chickenwing. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right (For life)” Cordy cries out in pain while Lowri fights for the submission. The champion refuses to give up though, so Lowri continues to pull on the arms, applying more pressure. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right (For life)” Cordy kicks her legs in frustration, as she lies on the mat. Again she refuses to give up, and again Lowri fights for the submission. Cordy continues to yell out in pain, until finally she nods her head, and the referee calls for the bell. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right (For life)” After letting go of the hold, Lowri rolls over and lies with her hands covering face, her chest heaving as the tears flow. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Now Lowri is on her knees, with the referee kneeling down to hand her the Undisputed title. She takes it from him, hugging her newly won championship tightly. “So, throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Lowri returns to her feet. She wipes the tears out of her eyes, as she takes in the scene, the capacity crowd cheering and applauding her. “Throw those curtains wide One Day Like This a year would see me right” Lowri heads over into the corner, climbs up to the middle rope and raises the championship high above her head, and as the music begins to fade out, it is on that image that the video comes to an end.

Shortly after Vertigo has gone off the air, Jessie Pederson is seen standing somewhere backstage at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium with the [2020 and] 2021 Gold Rush Rumble winner, Lowri Moss, who - having showered and changed following her match earlier - is dressed in a pair of jeans and a replica Wales football jersey.
Jessie Pederson: Lowri, well done on your victory tonight.
Lowri responds to the reporter with a courteous smile.
Lowri Moss: Thanks, Jessie. It felt good to be back in the ring for my first match since Only the Strong Survive, and to pick up the win, even if I didn’t exactly have the most illustrious of opponents. The only downside to the match was that it lasted barely longer than a minute.
That last part appears to take Jessie by surprise.
Jessie Pederson: Why do you consider that a downside? I would’ve thought that most competitors would be glad to get a win in such a quick time.
Lowri Moss: Maybe in a Beat The Clock Challenge I would, but I love being out there in front of the FGA fans, Jessie, especially now that the venues are back at full capacity, and I wish that I could’ve put on a bit more of a show for them. I’m not a sadist though, I don’t like to toy with my opponents, and prolong things unnecessarily, so I just did what I needed to do to get the win, instead of dragging it out.
Jessie Pederson: I feel like I ought to ask, what did you think of your choice of opponent for tonight?
Lowri Moss: You mean the “Patron Saint of Sex” - Freeport, Long Island's Carnelia Stephenson?
Lowri pauses for a second. Did she get those details correct? She thinks so, but she is not one hundred percent sure.
Lowri Moss: You know, I remember Dom Harter referring to Ash Fi once as “discount Lowri Moss,” but maybe in the future we’ll see someone inside an FGA ring named… I don’t know-- Laura Moses, perhaps.
She gives a shrug, before continuing.
Lowri Moss: In all seriousness though, I know Cordy wasn’t particularly amused when Carnelia made her first appearance in FGA last year, probably even less so this time, and she’s absolutely right when she says that there’ll never be another her-- to call Carnelia a dollar store version of Cordy would be an insult to Cordy.
She lets out a sigh.
Lowri Moss: By the time that we get to night two of All-Star Showdown and the match for the Undisputed Championship, if it is Cordy who I end up facing for the title, or for that matter if it’s Izzy, I’m fully aware that I’m going to be in for a significantly more difficult match than the one that I had here tonight. I can only beat whoever it is that’s put in front of me though, Jessie, which tonight was Carnelia, so I just went out there, and like I said, I did what I needed to do.
Jessie Pederson: You mentioned that you can only beat whoever is put in front of you… well, I think I’m right in saying that you have actually offered Cordy the chance to possibly pick your opponent for an upcoming match.
Lowri nods.
Lowri Moss: Yes, that’s right.
She puts her hands on her hips.
Lowri Moss: Cordy made it clear last week to Spencer Burke, and to everyone else who was listening, that she felt she was being put at a disadvantage by having to potentially defend her title on consecutive nights, first against Izzy and then against me-- and as I told her a few days ago on Twitter, I can understand her feeling that it would be unfair for her to potentially have to wrestle on consecutive nights, while I would be going into the match on night two fresh. Now, some people might point out that when I fought Cordy at last year’s All-Star Showdown, that it was my second match in one night, never mind a second match in two nights, but I’m not going to bring that up, Jessie-- I’m not.
Lowri of course knows full well what she just did.
Lowri Moss: Anyway, I told Cordy that if she thought it would make things fairer, that I would be willing to have a match of my own on night one, and that I would even be willing to leave it up to her to pick my opponent, whether that be someone from the FGA roster, or someone from outside of FGA.
Another small sigh escapes her lips.
Lowri Moss: I’m not sure whether the Executive Committee have actually considered my proposal, or whether there would even be room on the night one card for me to have a match against whoever Cordy decides she wants to pick, but the champ certainly seems to like the idea, and with my British sense of fair play, I would like it to happen, if it can.
Jessie gives a nod of acknowledgement.
Jessie Pederson: Okay, well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see on that one, but for now, Lowri, thank you for your time.
Lowri Moss: You’re welcome, Jessie.
The scene then cuts away.

OOC: This is the follow up to an rp that I wrote back in March 2017. I actually started writing this the next month, but then stopped after the opening paragraph, and did not resume writing it again until last night, four and a quarter years later. I originally intended for there to be a third part as well, but given how long it has taken me to write this one, part three will probably not see the light of day until around early 2030, if ever.
On the evening of Wednesday 23rd November 2016, Lowri Moss is seen sitting at a table outside a branch of Costa Coffee, inside the Grand Arcade section of the St. David's shopping centre in Cardiff. Two and a half months on from making her pro debut, Lowri has now competed in a total of six matches, the most recent of which was three days ago, at a show in Los Angeles - her second appearance in the US. While she awaits the arrival of someone, Lowri is occupying herself by looking at something on her mobile phone, and as she swipes the screen of the phone with her thumb, scrolling through whatever it is that she is reading, it is not long before the person that she is waiting for arrives: retired British wrestler Simon Jones. Simon Jones: Alright, Lowri? Lowri looks up from her phone and greets Simon with a smile. Lowri Moss: Hi Simon! How are you? Simon Jones: I’m fine, thanks. How about you? I hope I haven’t kept you waiting too long. Lowri Moss: No, I’ve only been here a couple of minutes. And I’m good, thanks. Still on a bit of a high from last Sunday… although returning to the day job, being back in the office after wrestling in front of ten thousand people, that was a bit of a comedown for me earlier. Lowri puts her phone away, as Simon takes a seat opposite her. Simon Jones: I’m sure it must’ve been; no one gives you a standing ovation as you make your way towards your desk. She laughs at Simon’s remarks. Lowri Moss: No, disappointingly-- though having said that, at least I don’t have to worry about any of my colleagues trying to body slam me, so… you know, swings and roundabouts. That response causes Simon to let out a chuckle of his own; Lowri picks up a mug of coffee that is in front of her on the table. Lowri Moss: Are you not going to get a drink? As she takes a sip of her coffee, Simon glances over in the direction of the counter, where there is a queue of customers waiting to be served. He then looks back to Lowri. Simon Jones: No, I’m okay. Lower proceeds to ask him another question, this time one that is wrestling related. Lowri Moss: Have you spoken to Natalie at all? Since Sunday, I mean. ‘Natalie’ is former FGA grappler Natalie McKinley, who Lowri teamed with - successfully - in her match three days ago. Simon Jones: No, I haven’t-- the last time I spoke to her was some time last week, a day or two prior to your match. Why do you ask? Lowri Moss: Because I wondered whether she had told you about the offer that Mark Ward made to the two of us. Mark Ward is one of the two owners of the promotion in which the aforementioned tag team match took place. Simon Jones: No, what offer? Simon leans forward slightly, clearly intrigued to hear more from Lowri about this offer. Lowri Moss: He offered us both full-time contracts; he wanted me and Natalie to be a regular team, to help strengthen the tag division. But Natalie rejected the offer out of hand. Simon Jones: I can’t say that I’m surprised. I know she has been considering where her future lies for a while now, and whether she even wants to continue wrestling or not. Simon rubs his chin. Simon Jones: Where does that leave you then? Lowri Moss: In the same position that I was in seventy-two hours ago. Mark Ward didn't just want me, he wanted me and Natalie, and with her out of the picture, he wasn't willing to offer me a contract to be a singles competitor… which I suppose isn’t all that surprising, considering that I’ve only had half a dozen matches so far in my career, and only one of those was a singles match. As he leans backwards a little, so that he is sitting upright again, Simon lets out a sigh. Simon Jones: It’s a shame that Natalie didn’t have any interest in taking Mark up on his offer; for two wrestlers who had never teamed together before, the pair of you didn't do too badly. Lowri Moss: We didn’t, did we? The smile on Lowri’s face broadens-- although something then soon occurs to her. Lowri Moss: Having said that though, look how well Neal and I worked together when we had our first ever match as a team two months ago - I think “instant chemistry” was how you described it. Simon nods his head, confirming Lowri’s accurate recollection of how he had described the maiden outing of the team that would come to be known as Pendragon. Lowri Moss: Maybe I have a knack for tag team wrestling-- or maybe I’ve just been fortunate with the tag team partners that I’ve had so far. Simon Jones: Or maybe it’s both. Lowri simply gives a shrug of her shoulders, before then drinking some more of her coffee. Simon Jones: I suppose this means you won’t be handing in your notice just yet then. Lowri smiles wryly as she responds. Lowri Moss: No, not yet, unfortunately. Simon Jones: Have you set yourself a target, a date by when you want to be able to quit your job at the bank to wrestle full-time? Lowri Moss: I haven't really set myself a precise date, but… I think I would like it to be by the end of next year, at the latest-- obviously I would want it to be nearer the start of next year than the end of it, but if it takes me until twelve months from now, rather than two months, so be it. Simon Jones: Have you been contacted at all by any other promoters? There is a shake of the head from Lowri. Lowri Moss: No, but then I’m still a relative unknown in the world of wrestling, right? A slight sigh escapes her lips. Lowri Moss: Hopefully the two matches I’ve had in the States might have caught the eyes of some people over there, but if not, if Neal and I continue winning matches in the UKWF, then surely that can only help to raise both of our profiles. Simon nods his head in agreement. Simon Jones: If you had the choice, would you want to just wrestle in the UK, or would you want to wrestle overseas as well? Lowri takes a moment to ponder the question, before answering. Lowri Moss: I think right now, ideally I would want to wrestle mainly in the UK, or perhaps even somewhere else in Europe, if I could make enough money that way for wrestling to be my full-time job. Long-term though, and I think I’ve said this to you previously, I know that if I really want to make a name for myself in wrestling, then the US is the place I need to be. Simon Jones: Would you ever consider relocating to the US? Lowri Moss: Yeah, if I needed to. Lowri lets out another small sigh. Lowri Moss: Again, in an ideal world, I think I would want to still be living here in Cardiff, wrestling mainly in the UK, perhaps somewhere else in Europe like I said, and travelling to the US say… every other week, to wrestle for a promotion over there. But, if I ended up in a situation where I needed to move to live in the US, to wrestle predominantly over there, then while it would be a wrench to move away from all my friends and my family, I would do it without a second thought. She pauses to take a breath, before she then continues. Lowri Moss: This is my dream, Simon-- to be a professional wrestler. It has been my dream since I was like six years old, watching Ricochet Wrestling on ITV. At present I could probably be best described as a semi-professional wrestler, but I don’t want to just be a weekend warrior forever, I want to be a proper, fully fledged pro wrestler-- I want to follow in the footsteps of people like Andreas Lasiewicz, Chandler Scott and Laurel Anne Hardy, and if I have to move to the US to make my dream a reality, I’m more than willing to do so. Simon considers feigning offence at Lowri not having named him as someone whose footsteps she wants to follow in, although he decides against it. He does though pick up on something that links the three names. Simon Jones: Going by those three names you mentioned, I’m guessing you must’ve been a fan of Pro-Wrestling Frontier. Lowri Moss: Indeed I was; I remember your appearance in the GFC Invitational two years ago, reaching the semi-finals before losing to the eventual winner, Anastasia Starling. Simon Jones: Did you go to the show down the Bay on St David’s Day last year? ‘The Bay’ refers to Cardiff Bay, an area in the south of the city. Lowri Moss: Yup. I’ve always tried to attend any show that I could in South Wales. By the time of that particular show, I had been living in Cardiff for nearly eighteen months, because of being at uni, but even before I moved here from Llanelli, I would often come to Cardiff to attend shows, from promotions like Frontier, to other, smaller ones. Lowri smiles, as a thought crosses her mind. Lowri Moss: I would love to get to wrestle on a show in South Wales some day. Simon Jones: Maybe if you will if the UKWF starts staging shows outside of London. Lowri Moss: Yeah, hopefully. She takes another sip of her coffee, while Simon asks her another question. Simon Jones: Have you got any other targets, besides being able to quit your day job to wrestle full-time? Lowri Moss: I would like to win a title before the end of my rookie year. I’ve still got over nine months left to achieve that yet, so there’s no rush, but… who knows? Neal and I are still undefeated as a team, and so if we can keep that up, maybe we can get ourselves a shot at the UKWF tag titles, perhaps sooner rather than later. Ultimately, they never did get a shot at the UKWF tag titles, but they of course more than made up for that subsequently in FGA. Lowri Moss: That’s a short-term target, but for a more longer-term target… I want to be a world champion-- and not just any world champion, but one in a reputable company that has been around for a number of years. Simon Jones: A lofty goal. Lowri Moss: I want to be the best-- or at least, one of the best. I know I’m quite some way off that at the moment, but that’s where I want to get to, no matter how hard I have to work, and now matter how long it takes; if I had stuck with football, instead of giving it up to pursue my dream of being a wrestler, I would’ve wanted to be the best I could be at that. Simon raises his eyebrows, with part of what Lowri just said having come as news to him. Simon Jones: You used to play football? I thought you were more of a rugby fan. Lowri Moss: I am. Initially I played both football and rugby, but when you’re young, like seven or eight, they only allow you to play tag rugby, rather than full contact, whereas in football there are no such restrictions, and so before long I stopped playing rugby and just concentrated on football, which I then went on to play for around a decade. Simon Jones: Were you any good? Lowri nods, before giving a proud, almost boastful response. Lowri Moss: I was the best striker in the South Wales Women's & Girls' League in each age group that I played in. Simon Jones: Were you really? Lowri Moss: Yeah, honestly. I’ve got the awards at home to show for it. Being a football fan himself, and having also played the sport in his youth, Simon is clearly impressed by all of this that he is hearing for the first time. Simon Jones: Well, I guess it’s no wonder you’re so adept at kicking your opponents then. Lowri Moss: Gotta use my skills to my advantage inside the ring somehow. The two share a laugh, and with that, their conversation then begins to drift away from wrestling, on to football, as well as other sports.

Shortly after the conclusion of the International Heavyweight Championship match between Cordelia Stevenson and Lowri Moss, the defeated challenger is seen backstage at the Manhattan Center. Having just passed through the Gorilla position, Lowri is making her way back towards the locker rooms, when she is accosted by Jessie Pederson.
Jessie Pederson: Hey, Lowri!
Lowri stops to talk to Jessie, forcing a smile onto her face as she responds to the reporter.
Lowri Moss: Hi, Jessie.
Jessie Pederson: I appreciate you might not be in the best of moods right now, considering what just happened, but would you mind if I asked you a couple of questions?
Lowri gives a shrug of her shoulders.
Lowri Moss: If it’s literally just a couple of questions, then sure, go ahead.
Jessie Pederson: I’ll keep it to two questions, I promise.
Lowri’s smile widens ever so slightly, as Jessie proceeds.
Jessie Pederson: Obviously I want to get your reaction to the ending of your match with Cordy, so I suppose my first question is simply, how are you feeling right now, just a matter of minutes after what happened?
Lowri Moss: I’m… I guess I’m frustrated more than anything right now, Jessie.
She lets out a sigh.
Lowri Moss: No one wants to lose, Jessie, but if you’ve got two people in a match, then except for the odd occasion where a match ends in a draw, one of them is going to win and one of them is going to lose. And while I don’t like losing, if someone beats me because on that particular night they were the better wrestler, then I can at least accept that. What I’m never going to be able to accept though is losing a match due to my opponent taking a shortcut, such as grabbing a handful of my tights.
Jessie Pederson: When it dawned on you exactly what had just happened out there, you looked shocked, as indeed did some of the fans.
Lowri Moss: You’re right, Jessie, I was shocked - I was shocked that she… I was shocked that Cordy resorted to doing what she did, and--
Lowri lets out another sigh.
Lowri Moss: There’s more that I could say about it, but really, I’m more interested in hearing what, if anything, Cordy has to say about it.
Jessie Pederson: Well, there’s more I would like to ask you about that match, but I did promise you that I would keep this down to two questions, so my second question is, what’s next for you? I mean, it wasn’t all bad for you tonight, as you and Neal successfully defended your World tag team titles earlier against the Super Mario Wrestling Bros, but I’m guessing that you’re probably not going to allow what just happened to put an end to your singles aspirations, so where do you go from here?
There is a momentary pause while Lowri collects her thoughts.
Lowri Moss: Everyone knows about Neal’s plan to retire, but as long as he and I remain the World Tag Team Champions, he’s going to remain under contract with FGA, and so like he said to you last week, we’re going to keep defending those titles until we lose them. But as far as my singles aspirations are concerned… despite what just happened, my singles aspirations are very much still alive.
She stops to take a breath, before then continuing.
Lowri Moss: I think by now everyone in FGA should be aware of how stubborn I am; I don’t know when to stop, and when I set my sights on something, I won’t stop until I get it. Remember how many months I spent chasing the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship? I suffered plenty of heartache along the way, but I never gave up, and eventually, I was able to get my hands on that title. It was a similar story with the North American title over in Underground as well, and now--
She smiles, still certain about what she is aiming for.
Lowri Moss: You want to know where I go from here, Jessie? I’m going nowhere-- and sooner or later, I will be a top champion in FGA.
Jessie Pederson: Okay, Lowri. Thanks for your time.
Lowri Moss: You’re welcome, Jessie. And enjoy your New Year’s Eve, but be sensible about it, yeah? Stay safe, and don’t go attending any super-spreader parties.
Lowri then resumes her walk back towards the locker rooms, and the scene cuts away.

Shortly after Only the Strong Survive has gone off the air, the winner of the 2020 Gold Rush Rumble, Lowri Moss, is seen backstage at the Melrose Ballroom, having just passed through the Gorilla position. Still walking with a limp, the toll that the night's events have taken on her is evident, her hair moist with sweat and her cheeks reddened, a result of the exertion of competing in three lengthy matches in one night. In spite of how she feels physically though, that is very much offset by how elated she is at what she has just accomplished in the Rumble, with her face bearing a broad smile that is likely to be present for some time to come, while she has mascara smudges under her eyes from the tears of joy that she shed following her victory. Lowri continues to gingerly make her way back towards the locker rooms, when she is accosted by Jessie Pederson.
Jessie Pederson: Hey, Lowri! Congratulations!
Lowri slows to a stop, to talk to the reporter.
Lowri Moss: Thanks, Jessie. I’m-
There is a momentary silence, as Lowri struggles to put her thoughts and her emotions into words.
Lowri Moss: I’m lost for words, I don’t know what to say. I’m just, I… I’m just so, so happy right now.
Jessie Pederson: Well, seeing you now, and how happy you are, it’s certainly a far cry from how you were when I spoke to you after your only previous appearance in the Gold Rush Rumble, three years ago.
Lowri Moss: Oh, I know, it’s like night and day. I still remember how disappointed I was at the time, annoyed even. It was only my fourth match in FGA, my first on pay-per-view, and while I hadn’t expected to win, I had hoped to put in a performance that would mark me out as someone worth keeping an eye on, but of course what happened instead was that I got eliminated almost straight away; thankfully though, I’ve been able to come up with one or two good performances since then.
Typical British understatement from Lowri.
Lowri Moss: After what happened three years ago, I felt like if I was never in another Gold Rush Rumble, it would be too soon, so two years ago at Only the Strong Survive, as well again last year, I was actually glad that because I was already in a championship match on those shows, it meant I wasn’t also included in the Rumble. And I had assumed that would be the case again this year, especially with me being in two title matches this time, which would’ve been perfectly okay with me, but clearly the Championship Committee, or whoever, had other ideas, so then I thought, at least I'll struggle to do any worse than I did three years ago, and well, I wasn’t wrong!
Absolutely not.
Lowri Moss: From entering at number six and being eliminated in under a minute, to entering at number three and lasting for… I don’t know exactly how long it was, but I’m assuming it must’ve been around an hour.
Jessie Pederson: It was sixty-five minutes, that’s how long you were in the match for.
Hearing that statistic causes Lowri to raise her eyebrows.
Lowri Moss: Sixty-five minutes? Is that a new record?
Jessie nods her head.
Jessie Pederson: Yes, you bettered the previous record, which was set last year by Kendall Kingham, by five minutes.
Lowri Moss: From being pretty much irrelevant three years ago, to being the Ironman and the winner this time round - that’s quite a contrast, isn’t it?
Lowri puts a hand out to lean against the wall, taking some of the weight off her injured ankle.
Jessie Pederson: Heading into the Rumble, your aim obviously would’ve been to win it, but when you found out that you had drawn number three, how confident were you about your chances?
Lowri Moss: Once I found out that I was going to be entering the Rumble at number three, I knew if I was going to win it then that would mean me being in the match for nearly all of it, for sixty or… well, sixty-five minutes as it turned out, so knowing how big of an ask that would be, the challenge for me, at least to begin with, kinda became just to see how long I could survive for, rather than whether I could go all the way. But then, as the match went on, the longer I remained in it for, my chances of winning increased, and so did my confidence.
Jessie Pederson: At what point in the match then did you go from just thinking about trying to survive, to thinking you could win it?
Lowri runs her free hand through her hair.
Lowri Moss: I guess it probably would’ve been around the time the match got to the twentieth entrant. I mean, by then I knew that if I was going to make it all the way to the end of the match, that I was over halfway there. I knew I still had a lot of work ahead of me, that was for sure, particularly with people like Izzy, Marlon, Karrr… errr… Carmichael, and Evan yet to enter, but like I said, by then I knew I was closer to the end of the match than I was to the start of it, so yeah, I think that was probably the point when my belief that I could win the Rumble really started to grow.
She then places her hand on her hip, while Jessie proceeds to ask another question.
Jessie Pederson: How much of a help was it to you to have Neal enter the Rumble immediately after you did?
Lowri Moss: Having Neal in there was definitely of benefit to me, I can’t deny that. Battle royals are always unpredictable, Jessie, being in the ring with so many opponents at any one time, not knowing who might be about to attack you and try to throw you over the top rope, so having an ally in there, someone who you can rely upon to watch your back, that can be invaluable. I think he was only in there for something like fifteen or twenty minutes though, around a quarter of the time that I spent in the Rumble, so for the majority of the match, I was doing things on my own.
Following the briefest of pauses, Lowri continues.
Lowri Moss: Perhaps at times I had some good fortune, I’m sure there were occasions when people were left wondering how I had managed to escaped elimination, like when Sloan Talbot threw me over the top rope and I just barely avoided having both of my feet touch the floor. Regardless of whether or not I was lucky at times though, I displayed more resilience and more endurance than anyone else in that match, and qualities like those, as well as others, were what really helped me to reach the end of the Rumble and ultimately win it.
Jessie Pederson: Your prize for winning the Gold Rush Rumble is of course a guaranteed match at All-Star Showdown IX for either the World Championship or the International Heavyweight Championship. Now, I know it was only a matter of minutes ago that you were having your hand raised in victory by the referee, but I have to ask, have you made a decision already as to which title you’re going to challenge for?
Lowri shakes her head.
Lowri Moss: Sorry, Jessie. I’m sure you were hoping you might possibly get a scoop from me, but no, I haven’t made a decision yet. I don’t want to rush into making a decision, it’s something I’ll be thinking over in the days to come, between now and the next episode of Vertigo, but either way I’m going to be challenging for a world title at probably the biggest show of the year, so I think there’s no wrong choice-- although given who my two prospective opponents are, some people might argue that there’s no right choice, either!
She lets out a chuckle.
Lowri Moss: And speaking of my two prospective opponents for All-Star Showdown, I want to say congratulations to Seth on his big win tonight, and congratulations to Cordy on retaining her title. Big kudos to Fujiko as well, who I expect will be gutted right now that her reign has come to an end, but she can look back on her time as World Champion with immense pride, and she’s going to be a tough act for Seth and whoever else - me, potentially - to follow.
Jessie Pederson: It’s clear for everyone to see how much winning the Rumble means to you, but where does this rank amongst the best moments of your career so far?
Lowri Moss: Before now, whenever anyone has asked me what the best moment of my career was, my answer has been either winning the World Cup of Wrestling for Wales, or winning the HKW North American Championship in Cardiff in front of my family, my friends, and several thousands of my compatriots. Now though, tonight as a whole-- winning the Rumble, winning the tag team title unification match-- this is now the best so far.
Taking her hand off her hips, Lowri touches her cheeks, feeling for where her mascara has run.
Lowri Moss: The only other time I’ve cried tears of joy following a match was when I won the North American title, and if I do go on to win at All-Star Showdown I’m sure there’ll be more tears-- and I might possibly then have to change my answer to this question-- but for now at least, I think this is the best night of my career so far.
Jessie Pederson: As you’ve just alluded to, the Gold Rush Rumble wasn’t your only match tonight, so let’s talk briefly about the other two matches that you were in, starting with the tag team title match; with yourself and Neal having been the World Tag Team Champions since May of last year, not to mention having been the inaugural United States Tag Team Champions, and having been the first team to hold both sets of tag titles, how did it feel for the two of you to win that unification match?
Lowri Moss: It felt great, Jessie. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that match was the most difficult challenge that Neal and I have faced as a team, a triple threat against one of the best teams in the world not named Pendragon, and the team that have become probably our greatest rivals, so for the two of us to come out on top, with all of the belts in our possession, yeah, that felt pretty great.
Her half of each of the world tag titles and the United States tag titles are of course currently absent from her person, having chosen not to take them with her when she headed out to the ring for the Rumble.
Lowri Moss: When the announcement came towards the end of last year that the brand split was being dissolved, I assumed it was inevitable that at some point the world tag titles and the United States tag titles would be unified, and I remember saying during an interview around that time that Neal and I needed to make sure we kept hold of the world tag team titles, so that when the time came, we would have the opportunity to become the unified champions. I'm very proud of what I've achieved in FGA as a singles competitor, but I'm also very proud of what Neal and I have accomplished together during the past two and a half years as a team, and… I was tempted to say our victory tonight caps it all off for us, but that might sound like this is the end of the road for us as a team, which it certainly isn't-- there's definitely still more to come from us yet.
Jessie Pederson: The one low point for you tonight came in the first of your three matches, as your first defense of the Pride Championship ended in a loss to Tyler Storm. How much did that match affect the rest of your night - did the loss affect your confidence at all, was it playing on your mind heading into your other matches?
Lowri scratches the back of her neck.
Lowri Moss: It’s easy for me to talk about now, given what happened later in the night, but that loss was… it was the start of me running the gamut of emotions here tonight. I’m sure it won’t surprise anyone to hear me say that at the time, I was disappointed to lose the Pride Championship, especially in my first defence, but I knew that I couldn’t afford to dwell on the loss, I knew I couldn’t afford to go into the tag title match and then the Rumble feeling down, so I had to forget about it, I had to put it to the back of my mind and go into my two remaining matches with a positive mindset, and that’s what I did and it ended up being my only loss of the night.
She lets out a sigh - one of contentment, or one of relief?
Lowri Moss: I didn’t admit it earlier when I spoke to Amanda, but heading into tonight I was realistic enough to know that I probably wasn’t going to win all three matches - like I said during that interview with Amanda, it would’ve been difficult enough to win all three matches if they took place on three different nights, never mind all on the same night. At the same time though, I was confident that I would win at least one of the matches, possibly two, and as it turned out, that confidence wasn’t misguided.
She then pauses to take a breath.
Lowri Moss: I know some people thought it was stupid of me to agree to defend the Pride Championship tonight in addition to being in two other matches, and sure, if I hadn’t done so then right now I would still have that particular title in my possession, as well as my half of both the world tag titles and the US tag titles and a guaranteed shot at either the world title or the international heavyweight title, but I don’t have any regrets, nor do I begrudge Tyler his win. I talked earlier about knowing how much the Pride Championship means to him, and he talked as well about how badly he wanted it, so if I had to lose the Pride title to anyone, there are worse people that I could’ve lost it to. It does mean that my wait for a singles title reign in FGA that I can truly be proud of goes on, but… maybe I won’t have to wait too long - maybe I’ll have it with either the World Championship or International Heavyweight Championship.
She casts a glance towards her ankle.
Lowri Moss: The only significant effect the match with Tyler really had on me was the injury I sustained to my ankle, which of course affected my mobility for the rest of the night, but thankfully not to such an extent that it stopped me from winning either of my other matches. And I know Tyler didn’t intentionally try to injure me, he was just doing what he needed to do to win the match, so there are no hard feelings.
Jessie Pederson: How’s your ankle now, after everything that you’ve gone through tonight?
Lowri gives a shrug, as if it is no big deal.
Lowri Moss: It’s still hurting, and no doubt it’ll be hurting for the next few days, but for tonight, the adrenaline and knowing what was at stake, that was enough to get me through the pain.
She glances down at her ankle again.
Lowri Moss: I had it checked after the match with Tyler and the trainer cleared me to compete in the tag title match, then I had it checked again after that match and I was cleared to compete in the Rumble, and I’m going to go and get it checked again shortly, before I shower, change and head back to the hotel with Neal, where I think there are a couple of bottles of beer in the minibar with my name on them.
Jessie Pederson: No champagne?
That suggestion from Jessie makes Lowri laugh.
Lowri Moss: No, I’ll save the champagne for after All-Star Showdown.
She winks at Jessie.
Jessie Pederson: Okay, well, I won’t keep you any longer. Congratulations again, Lowri.
Lowri Moss: Thank you.
Lowri then resumes her limp back towards the locker rooms, and the scene cuts away.

Shortly after Vertigo has gone off the air, Lowri Moss is seen backstage at the Horncastle Arena, having just passed through the Gorilla position following the main event. Lowri is clearly feeling the effects of the lengthy match that she has just been through with Tyler Storm, but even as fatigued as she feels right now, her tiredness is still far outweighed by how happy she is at this very moment, as the grin on her face indicates. With her newly-won Pride Championship fastened around her waist, and her half of the World tag team titles draped over her right shoulder, Lowri slowly makes her way back towards the locker rooms. However, she does not get very far before she comes to a stop, when she sees the one person who-- above all others-- she wants to share this moment with.
After having had his ribs checked by the trainer, following his win against Cassius Reed in the opening match of the night, and after having then gotten showered and changed before settling down to watch the rest of the show, Neal Durden is now there in the corridor backstage, waiting to greet his partner. He quickly makes his way towards Lowri and wraps his arms around her, embracing her.
Neal Durden: Shows how much we know… doesn’t it?
Neal lets out a slight snicker at his comment, looking at the two belts that Lowri now has in her possession. Sweating and panting as she looks to recover from the gruelling match that she just had, Lowri looks at Neal with a bit of an expression of disbelief on her face. He kisses her on the cheek before he continues speaking.
Neal Durden: I mean, we both came in knowing we would have to leave it all on the line if we wanted to advance to the semi-finals, no expectations whatsoever, a huge challenge on the horizon and still… we came out swinging. I’m proud of you.
Lowri’s cheeks redden, and although it barely seems possible, her already wide smile broadens further slightly.
Lowri Moss: Thanks.
Neal smiles back at Lowri, the pair looking warmly at one another. Letting out a sigh of contentment, her eyes then drift down towards her midriff, and her latest accolade.
Lowri Moss: I can’t believe it, you know? Even being stood here with the belt around my waist, it still doesn’t seem real to me. I played down my chances of winning to such an extent that I had actually pretty much convinced myself it wasn’t going to happen.
She lifts her head back up, returning her attention to her other half.
Lowri Moss: Of all of the titles that I’ve managed to win so far in my career… I think this one is definitely going to take the longest to sink in.
Neal shrugs, almost looking at the distance without a bit of care in his face. He smirks and chimes in.
Neal Durden: You don’t have to let it sink in, just enjoy it. After all, tonight is not the toughest challenge on our road and we both know that. This was a night to enjoy ourselves and settle some old scores… we did that. Now we have to refocus not to lose the belts we fought for since day one.
Lowri nods her head lazily in response.
Lowri Moss: After what we’ve both done tonight though, you know what this means now, don’t you?
Neal nods, knowing full well what awaits them at Grapple Kingdom.
Neal Durden: Probably the toughest night either of us has had in wrestling…
The ominous tone in Neal’s voice probably gives away how seriously the pair are taking the challenges ahead. They know neither of the two matches they have for certain will be easy, and the prospect of a third match for either of them might be too much.
Neal Durden: Let’s not pretend otherwise… we have probably the toughest challenge yet for these belts…
He says as he taps Lowri’s tag belt.
Neal Durden: Pairing it up with two singles matches against two opponents that are probably the opposite of what either of us is in that ring. I know we have what it takes to hang in there, but it doesn’t make it any less daunting of a task.
In contrast to Neal’s more serious mood, Lowri remains jovial, lightening the tone of the conversation.
Lowri Moss: I’m sure it’ll be especially daunting for you, knowing that you’re fighting Izzy for my affection.
She gives her boyfriend a wink. Neal snickers, but he then looks at his ribs and taps on them.
Neal Durden: You know what this means, right?
He lowers his head and brings it back with a bit of a smirk on his face, but yet, he remains serious in his tone.
Neal Durden: Of course you do… you saw what happened against Tiff Rollins, you know about my struggles with asthma… after tonight, I don’t know if I can last one match, let alone two. I’m a bit scared, to be honest.
Lowri Moss: Awww…
Lowri puts her arms around Neal, hugging him tightly, as she attempts to reassure him.
Lowri Moss: I’m sure you’ll be fine.
Durden knew this was out of good faith, but for him, there was a striker waiting to make him suffer and a tag match against one of the toughest tag teams in the industry. He clearly was not the predator in this situation and he could feel it. Nevertheless, he shrugs it off and started to guide Lowri away from gorilla, where they have been standing all this time.
Neal Durden: You’re probably right, yet it’s something I… and we… must prepare for.
Lowri readjusts the belt that is resting on her right shoulder, before putting her other arm around Neal.
Lowri Moss: All in good time.
She then leans in to kiss him.
Lowri Moss: You said that I should enjoy this--
With her free hand, she taps the faceplate of the Pride Championship.
Lowri Moss: So for what's left of tonight, that's what I want to do.
Neal smirks and tilts his head.
Neal Durden: Weeeeelll… what ya’ wanna do, champ?
Lowri gazes up at the ceiling in careful consideration, as a number of ideas run through her head.
Lowri Moss: I’m thinking… a six pack of beer, a large meat lover’s pizza, aaand a tub of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream.
Neal scratches his beard, almost as if he was thinking another thing. Nevertheless, he kept things as PG as possible.
Neal Durden: Ordering twelve beers, not Corona; probably two large pizzas, and the tub we’ll arrange later.
He wraps his arms around Lowri and gives her a wink; she simply responds with a thumbs up. And as the couple make their way towards the locker rooms, so that Lowri can herself get showered and changed before they head back to their hotel for some food, drink, and Netflix and chill fall asleep, the scene comes to an end.

Shortly after the Eight Year Anniversary Show has gone off the air, Amanda Johnson is seen standing in a corridor backstage at the Spectrum Center with one half of Pendragon, Lowri Moss. Dressed in a pair of navy blue jeans and a black hoodie, Lowri has a trolley case with her, giving the appearance that she is in a hurry to get somewhere else. However, before she departs the venue of tonight’s show, to get to wherever it is that she needs to be, she still has time to accommodate a request from Amanda for an interview.
Amanda Johnson: Lowri, well done on your victory tonight.
Lowri responds to the reporter with a courteous smile.
Lowri Moss: Thank you.
Amanda Johnson: Prior to your match, you and Neal brought up how last year ended for the two of you, losing the United States tag team titles to Silk & Cyanide at Final Frontier, and you mentioned how disappointed you both felt following that match, so for you to finish this year with a win here tonight and with the world tag team titles securely in your possession, obviously you must be experiencing some very different emotions now compared to the ones that you went through at the end of last year.
The smile on Lowri’s face broadens a bit.
Lowri Moss: Yeah, absolutely, Amanda. Before our match last month at Autumn Annihilation, Neal and I talked about how that loss to Sara Mason and Erin Mariani was the only real blot on our record as a team since… pretty much the beginning of last year. And everything that we’ve now done since last December - ending the record-breaking reign of The Chaotics, making three successful defences of our titles, and beating Silk & Cyanide last month in this very building - has more than made up for what happened twelve months ago at Final Frontier.
She pauses momentarily to take a breath, before continuing.
Lowri Moss: And you know, for me personally, it’s nice to finally be able to end a year in FGA with a win, not only after what happened at last year’s Final Frontier, but also after what happened two years ago, when I lost a singles match against Dom Harter… which, come to think of it, probably makes our opposition tonight all the more appropriate.
Her smile now resembles more of a smirk, one not too dissimilar to the familiar smirk that is so often present on the face of Dom Harter himself.
Lowri Moss: It’s always satisfying to get one over on Dom and his crows, whatever the type of match we’re in and whichever iteration of The New Murder is across the ring, so for me, Neal, and Kazu to get the win tonight… yeah, that was a good way to conclude an already successful year on another high note.
Amanda Johnson: It certainly has been a successful year here in FGA for yourself and Neal, and looking ahead to next year, it appears that we found out earlier who the next challengers for your titles will be, as the winners of the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament, the Hellcat Spangled Death Squad, revealed that they have decided to go after the world tag team titles - and based on your previous comments, which Anastasia Hayden made reference to, I assume you must be pleased with their decision.
There is a nod of the head from Lowri.
Lowri Moss: Well, firstly, on behalf of both Neal and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to publicly congratulate Ana and Lisa on winning this year’s Dynamic Duos Tournament.
Following the briefest of pauses, Lowri continues.
Lowri Moss: Now, like you said, Amanda, Ana alluded to the comments that I made ahead of the Dynamic Duos final, when I said that in my opinion there was only one choice that the winners of the final should make, but as well as that, I also sent a tweet to Ana and Lisa following their victory in the final, in which I simply told them to “make the right decision,” and so yes, I’m very pleased, as is Neal, that they did indeed make the right decision. I don’t want to say much more about the prospect of Pendragon versus the Hellcat Spangled Death Squad right now though, as I would prefer to wait until I’ve got Neal with me before discussing that matchup at in detail, so that he can give his take on it at the same time.
Amanda Johnson: Okay, I understand.
The interviewer then moves on to a different topic.
Amanda Johnson: Tonight’s show was of course the first since it was revealed earlier this month that the brand split was being dissolved; what was your reaction to that announcement?
Lowri Moss: I’ll admit it caught me a bit by surprise, especially as it was only a few months ago that we had another draft. However, if the Executive Committee think it’s what’s best for the future of FGA, then I fully support their decision.
A slight frown appears on Lowri’s face, as she ponders the immediate effect of the dissolution of the brand split.
Lowri Moss: I’m not sure how much of an impact it’s going to have on either me or Neal in the short term. I mean, we were each originally drafted to Vertigo, we’ve spent the past year in the Flashpoint Zone, and I guess now we’ll just be appearing on Vertigo again. Clearly though, as the current World Tag Team Champions, something that will affect us in the longer term is whatever decision is made as far as the futures of each of the championships in FGA is concerned. The press release said there aren't any immediate plans to unify any of the championships, but it did also say that by the end of next year, they want to have just one set of tag titles-- the most obvious way to achieve that would be to unify the world tag titles and the United States tag titles, and assuming that is what’s going to happen at some point, Neal and I need to make sure that we keep hold of our titles by beating the Hellcats, plus anyone else that we might face, so that when the time comes, we have the opportunity to become the unified FGA World Tag Team Champions.
The frown is replaced by another smile.
Lowri Moss:The press release also mentioned that the Executive Committee members believe the merging of the rosters will lead to some dream matches, which is something we heard Cordy and Fujiko consider earlier, and I would like to think that I could potentially feature in some of these dream matches - I certainly have some dream matches of my own that I would like to happen. I suppose I’ll just have to wait and see though.
Amanda Johnson: There’s one final thing that I would like to ask you. You’ve already touched upon how good a year you’ve had, but I was wondering, do you think there have been any negatives for you at all?
Now smiling wryly, Lowri is quick to give a somewhat sarcastic reply.
Lowri Moss: Yeah, not getting to wrestle on my birthday.
However, she then lets out a sigh, as her tone changes.
Lowri Moss: If you want a serious answer though, Amanda, I suppose the one negative for me this year in FGA would be that, while Neal and I have gone from strength to strength in the tag division, as a singles competitor… I’ve stagnated.
A second, smaller sigh follows, before Lowri expands upon her answer.
Lowri Moss: Around this time two years ago, Sadie San Francisco described me as being the fastest improving wrestler that FGA had ever seen-- and within six months, I had become only the second ever double champion in FGA history, which is something that I’m quite proud of. But in the past twelve or so months, I feel that my rise has stalled. During the course of this year, I’ve only been in three singles matches in FGA; most recently there was that battle royal, which I was eliminated from by two people who weren’t even in the match, and in the months prior to that, I had two one-on-one matches, both of which I won, in a grand total of - I think - only a little over ten minutes.
Ten minutes and twelve seconds, to be exact.
Lowri Moss: Do you remember at one point this year I was just a mere five seconds away from a shot at the International Heavyweight Championship? That seems like a long time ago now.
Lowri runs her right hand through her hair.
Lowri Moss: I need to be careful what I say, because I don’t want anyone, especially not Neal, to think that I would prefer to not be teaming with him. I can assure all of you, I’m not looking to break up Pendragon; I’m proud to hold the world tag titles with Neal, and I wouldn’t want to sacrifice that for a shot at one of the singles titles. Having said that though, both of us, Neal included, do have things that we want to accomplish in FGA by ourselves. In Neal’s case, I know he has a desire to prove that he’s more than simply the other half of Pendragon. He also wants to be known as the best high flyer in FGA and to make the High Flyer of the Year award his, and he’s well aware that he would have a better chance of achieving those things if he were to compete in more singles matches, as that would give him a greater opportunity to showcase what he can do.
She then places her hand on her hip.
Lowri Moss: And speaking of the year end awards, I think they actually reflect my stagnation as a singles competitor; twelve months ago I was nominated for several awards, whereas this time around, I’ve only received one solo nomination. From last year to this year, that’s quite a stark contrast, and in no way am I trying to suggest that I should’ve gotten more nominations this year, only that it’s definitely something I want to have improved upon twelve months from now.
Amanda Johnson: And how do you think you can make that improvement - how do you think you can avoid continuing to, as you put it, stagnate?
Lowri Moss: By having the Lowri that people get to see on Saturdays be more like the one that they can see on a Friday.
Saturday(s) and Fridays are references to the usual days of the week when FGA shows and Underground shows air, respectively.
Lowri Moss: Alright, Amanda; I probably ought to go and find Neal, as he and I have got a flight to Portland to catch.
Lowri takes her hand off her hip and grabs ahold of the handle of her trolley case.
Amanda Johnson: Okay, Lowri. Thanks for your time.
Lowri Moss: You’re welcome. Enjoy your New Year’s Eve, whatever it is that you have planned for tomorrow night.
Amanda Johnson: Thanks. And you.
Lowri then smiles at Amanda once more before wandering off, pulling her case behind her, and the scene cuts away.

ENTRANCE MUSIC: “Loner Boogie” by Boy Azooga
RING ATTIRE: Lowri usually wears a two-piece outfit with matching knee pads, kick pads and boots. The colour of her attire can vary from match to match, from something as simple as a plain black outfit, to a more striking multicoloured one.
RING ENTRANCE: “Loner Boogie” by Boy Azooga plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, through the curtains - and out onto the stage - walks Lowri Moss, who is greeted by a cheer. Lowri takes a moment to scan the crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her. After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. There are further cheers and applause for Lowri from the fans, and as she again surveys the crowd, she gestures to them by making the ILY sign with her right hand, in acknowledgement of their reaction to her arrival.
CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRANCE: “Loner Boogie” by Boy Azooga plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, Lowri Moss walks through the curtains, out onto the stage, with a broad smile on her face and her title around her waist. Lowri takes a moment to scan the cheering crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her. After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. Lowri gestures to the fans by making the ILY sign with her right hand, in acknowledgement of their response to her arrival. She then takes the title from around her waist and holds it aloft, eliciting further cheers and applause. She continues to hold the title in the air for several more seconds, as she again surveys the crowd, soaking in the reaction.
PERSONALITY: Living out her dream of being a professional wrestler, with a smile on her face, there is nowhere that Lowri feels more at home than when she is stood inside a wrestling ring, and there is nothing she would rather be doing than competing in front of a crowd of fans that share her love for the sport. No longer the naïve up-and-comer that she once was, Lowri has now begun to fulfill her obvious potential, and has developed into a poised and assured performer in the ring.
STRENGTHS: 1. Hard-working: Lowri often appears to have a carefree nature, but once she gets to work, in the ring or in the gym, she works as hard as anyone, to try to be the best version of herself that she can be. 2. Refined style: in the embryonic stages of her career, Lowri wanted to be a jill of all trades. However, she soon realised that if she was going to achieve the level of success that she was aiming for, then she would need to employ a more well-defined style. She subsequently honed her repertoire of moves to focus on what she excels at, namely striking, and now, knowing what works best for her, continues to seek new, suitable manoeuvres to add to her arsenal. 3. Enthusiasm: as a long-time fan of wrestling, Lowri's passion for the sport is evident to anyone who spends any time with her, and whether she is inside the ring or away from it, she puts her heart and soul into anything she does that is in any way related to wrestling.
WEAKNESSES: 1. Recklessness: while Lowri does her best to keep her emotions in check, it is not all too difficult to antagonise her, something that can cause her to act rashly, and which can be exploited by an opponent. 2. Stature: although she is relatively strong, pound-for-pound, having shown herself to be capable of lifting up larger opponents, Lowri is still never going to be able to toss a super heavyweight around the ring, and could potentially find herself being manhandled if she is in there with a powerhouse. 3. Blind courage: Lowri tends to always stand up for herself, and will rarely shirk a challenge, but while this can be admirable, it can also lead to her ending up in situations that she would be better advised to avoid.

BACKGROUND: A fan of the sport since a young age, Lowri commenced her wrestling training while she was at university - she could often be found training at times when she should instead have been studying.
Shortly after graduating from Cardiff University in 2016, Lowri joined the roster of the London-based United Kingdom Wrestling Federation, while also having a day job working in a bank, in order to support herself. Having immediately been paired together with another youngster from South Wales - Neal Durden - she made her UKWF debut at the beginning of September, and a month later, after impressing, she was presented with an opportunity to wrestle in the US for the first time; another match in the US would follow in November, but for the time being, the UKWF was to remain Lowri's home.
By the beginning of 2017, Lowri was eager to branch out, so that she could wrestle full-time, and following discussions with Frontier Grappling Arts, she quit her day job, to allow her to become a member of the FGA roster. After establishing herself in FGA, she went on to make appearances in a number of other promotions, most notably New Kingdom PRO and Sussex County Championship Wrestling, with the latter being where she won the first accolade of her career, the Hudson Cup.
February 2018 saw Lowri finally win the FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship, after spending much of the previous eight months chasing it. However, that success was followed shortly afterwards by major upheaval, with both NKP and the UKWF closing their doors, and so to further her career, Lowri made the decision to relocate from the UK to the US, subsequently joining the rosters of Rose City Wrestling and Hard Knox Wrestling’s Underground brand.
In June, Lowri became one half of the inaugural FGA United States Tag Team Champions, together with her long-time partner Neal Durden, which mean that she also became only the second double champion in FGA history, while in August she became a Tag Team Champion in RCW, with Blaise Fader, as well as winning the 2018 HELL Torneo de las Legiones alongside both Neal and Blaise, with the trio becoming the Legión del HELL Champions at the same time, and she also won the 2018 World Crown Syndicate World Cup, representing her beloved Wales.
The main story of 2019 for Lowri was her record-breaking reign as the HKW North American Champion. Having won the title a month before the end of 2018, on an unforgettable night in the Welsh capital, she would go on to hold it until the following November, with her reign eventually coming to an end after 357 days as champion, by which time she had set new records in Underground for the longest reign with any title, the most cumulative days as any champion, and the most defences of any title. Lowri’s success also continued elsewhere, first with a brief reign as the SSWA Pure Champion, then in FGA she and Neal Durden won the World Tag Team Championship, and finally in RCW, she won the third annual Lilith Morgan Memorial Cup, claiming the promotion’s top championship, the Queen Of Roses, in the process.

While out in the ring, the main event of Flashpoint continues, backstage at the Landers Center, a camera finds Lowri Moss and Neal Durden, who have just passed through the Gorilla position, following their elimination from the battle royal and the subsequent brawl with their uninvited guests from Vertigo. Lowri is particularly unhappy about what has just happened. In fact, she is - as they say in Wales - tamping.
Lowri Moss: [BEEP]ing Silk & Cyanide.
She runs her hand over her face, partly in an effort to calm herself down, but also to check that there is no lasting damage, after her face smacked against the edge of the ring when Erin Mariani yanked her off the apron. Neal has a faint smile on his face - more than likely due to the fact he lasted longer than Lowri in the match, which is rare for him - but he tries his best to not have Lowri notice, believing all of her anger would go towards him if she finds him with even the slightest hint of a smile on his face in this moment. However, as she glances around about her, Lowri becomes aware of the presence of the camera, and that is what her attention is drawn to, looking towards it with a sigh.
Lowri Moss: By their very nature, battle royals are unpredictable. A mass of bodies all in one ring, everyone trying to survive until the end, not knowing who might be about to knock them on their arse, or worse still, dump them over the top rope.
Lowri pauses ever so briefly to take a breath.
Lowri Moss: And one thing that I definitely wouldn’t have predicted about tonight’s battle royal, is that I would be eliminated not by one of my nine opponents, but by someone who, nevermind not being part of the match, isn’t even [BEEP]ing part of the Flashpoint roster!
She clenches - and then unclenches - her hands, as she again tries to remain calm, and avoid having this simply turn into an expletive-laden rant. Meanwhile, Neal remains completely calmed. Sure, he is not happy about what happened, yet, he does not seem as angry as his better half. Taking advantage of Lowri calming down a bit and needing a couple of seconds to regroup, he interjects.
Neal Durden: Sure, sure… you two made your statement. You picked your spot. I can understand that, I can even see some strategy and commend you for it. Yet, you provoked something that even I can’t even fathom to provoke…
Neal takes a peep at Lowri, who is fuming, he shrugs and looks directly at the camera.
Neal Durden: You made her angry…
Neal stares at the camera, making a face somewhat close to what Jim from The Office would often make, as Lowri storms right back into her diatribe.
Lowri Moss: You know, I didn’t necessarily expect to win, but I did stand as good a chance as anyone else in that ring of being the one to earn a shot at the International Heavyweight title--
Lowri stops and turns to look at Neal.
Lowri Moss: We both did.
She then looks back in the direction of the camera.
Lowri Moss: And you… Erin… Sara… You took that away.
Neal shrugs as he looks at the camera and simply says…
Neal Durden: I told you, you made her angry… Not even I dare do that…
Lowri points towards the camera, as if she is pointing directly at the two members of Silk & Cyanide.
Lowri Moss: If the two of you think that you’re just going to be able to go back to the safety of Vertigo, and get away with what you just did, then you’ve got another thing coming. Just because we’re on different brands, don’t think that this is over.
After glaring at the camera, Lowri then turns away, and she and Neal trudge back towards the locker rooms. They only take a couple of steps though before Lowri - without turning back to face the camera - adds one final comment.
Lowri Moss: And [BEEP] Ashlyn De Luca an’ all.
Another second or two later, and the Welsh duo disappear from view, following which, the scene cuts away.

At the start of the final night of this year’s Dynamic Duos Tournament, after he and Kris Cruise had given a rundown of the matches in the quarterfinals, Geoff Penzer had indicated that he expected both The Chaotics and Pendragon would be paying close attention to the final of the tournament. Little did he know, however, that one half of the United States Tag Team Champions was actually there in attendance at the Pepsi Center. After a weekend that had taken her firstly to Baltimore for Vertigo, then to Portland, Oregon and to Newcastle upon Tyne in England, for shows in each of those cities, Lowri Moss had travelled to Denver, to watch the finals of the Dynamic Duos Tournament in person.
A short while following the conclusion of the final, and the presentation of the trophies, Lowri is sat on a crate somewhere backstage, studying something on her phone. Just inside the shot, a pair walk by, one of them catching Lowri’s attention. The imposing figure of Xena leads the way, and the co-winner of the 2018 Dynamic Duos tournament follows shortly behind. A towel is over her head, obscuring her a bit from the surrounding people, but not enough for the US tag team champion to notice.
Lowri Moss: Hey, Fujiko! Congratulations!
Both Xena and Fujiko slow to a stop, with Fujiko turning her head in Lowri’s direction. Past the towel, a smile can be seen plain as day on her face. Without much else of a thought, Fujiko moves in her direction. Xena keeps her distance, trying to let the two of them have a private conversation.
Fujiko Mine: Lowri, hey! Thank you!
The FGA Pride champion bends slightly at the waist, bowing in thanks.
Fujiko Mine: Didn’t think I’d get to see you here in person.
Lowri hurriedly shoves her phone into one of her pockets, and leaps off the crate.
Lowri Moss: Yeah, I know I could’ve watched the show at home, but I thought I would make the effort to be here in person, to check out the potential challengers for mine and Neal's titles. He's here as well... She glances around, looking expectantly for her other half. Lowri Moss: Somewhere.
There is no sign of Neal though, and Lowri shrugs her shoulders, as she turns back to Fujiko, who smirks.
Fujiko Mine: You know, it’s not set in stone that we go after you and Neal…
She gives Lowri a cheeky grin.
Fujiko Mine: Izzy and I might end up going after the Chaotics. It was, as I understood, up to us...
Lowri Moss: Oh, I know, I'm not making any assumptions. Besides, if you and Izzy do decide to challenge The Chaotics - or whoever are the tag champs on Flashpoint after Saturday - and if you were to win and bring those belts back to Vertigo, I guess then maybe we could have a title unification match... perhaps.
Lowri stretches her arms out a bit to her sides, with her palms up.
Lowri Moss: I don't know, just a thought.
She winks at Fujiko.
Fujiko Mine: I think you’re going to have to stop reading my mind, Lowri.
The two share a laugh.
Lowri Moss: Can I ask you about something from the press conference earlier? Fujiko gives Lowri a bit of a puzzled look, but nods anyway. Lowri Moss: What does baseball have to do with winning a grand slam? Her eyes light up, the question not being what she expected. A bit of rose tints her cheek.
Fujiko Mine: The ‘grand slam’ term is borrowed from baseball. When you hit a home run and the bases are loaded, it’s called a grand slam. Christian Yelich hit one a few weeks ago and…
The rosy tint grows a bit brighter. She realizes that she’s rambling a bit.
Fujiko Mine: So...yeah.
Lowri Moss: Ohhh… okay.
There is a nod from Lowri, giving the impression that she understood Fujiko’s explanation, although in truth she is not quite sure what ‘when the bases are loaded’ means. She chooses not to ask for clarification on that one though.
Lowri Moss: When I think of ‘grand slam,’ aside from wrestling, I think of Wales beating all of England, France, Ireland, Italy, and Scotland to win the Six Nations; that’s a rugby tournament.
Lowri takes a breath, and not wanting to risk confusing Fujiko unnecessarily, she opts to move on.
Lowri Moss: On the subject of grand slams, you and Izzy aren’t the only ones who are halfway towards one in FGA, you know? And you know what would be the next step for me towards completing a grand slam, right?
There is a half-smirk from Lowri, and Fujiko adjusts the Pride championship, knowingly.
Fujiko Mine: You know I’ve got a defense against Ricky Valero at Capital Combat, but I’m pretty confident that I’ll be leaving there still the Pride champion. If you want a shot, I’m not hard to find. I’ll be happy to give you a shot.
She gives Lowri a confident smile; Lowri smiles wryly in response.
Lowri Moss: Nah, I’m good for now. I mean, one day, definitely, but I’ve already done the double champion thing, so for the time being, I just want to concentrate on the US tag titles.
Fujiko Mine: Hah, fair enough. But just know, I’ll be ready either if you come after this title, or we come after yours.
She gives her a disarming smile, trying to convey that it’s only friendly competition she’s promoting. Lowri takes the statement in the manner that is intended, smiling good-naturedly at Fujiko.
Lowri Moss: Since you’re here, there’s something else I would like to ask you as well... although it might be none of my business.
There is a brief pause, as Lowri looks somewhat nervous, her smile fading slightly.
Lowri Moss: It’s no secret that Natalie tried to apologise to you at the show a couple of weeks ago, but I was wondering, have you spoken to her again since then - has she actually explained to you why she… well, you know.
Fujiko’s demeanor falls off a cliff. While before she looked tired but happy, she now just looks...exhausted.
Fujiko Mine: No. She hasn’t...no. We haven’t spoken since then.
If there was something that could have ruined Fujiko’s mood after her victory, that was the blow to do it. Her shoulders slump, her lips close over her teeth, and she doesn’t seem interested in eye contact any further. She shakes her head, almost anticipating what Lowri is going to say.
Fujiko Mine: No, it’s totally fine that you asked. I’m not going to throw you over some production boxes or anything like that.
Her delivery doesn’t allow the joke to land well, and she just nervously tries to move past it.
Fujiko Mine: I’m just...not sure how I’m gonna move past that, y’know? I felt...I feel really betrayed by both her and Evan, so...it’s just a lot to process emotionally.
Lowri instinctively nods her head, although Fujiko's gaze remains elsewhere.
Lowri Moss: I understand completely, Fujiko. I've suffered my own share of betrayals recently, as you're probably aware, so if anyone around here can empathise with you, I can.
She moves a bit closer to Fujiko, and gently touches her arm, trying to give her some reassurance.
Lowri Moss: I was shocked by what Natalie did to you - although not nearly as shocked as you were, I'm sure. I know how highly she thinks of you, and you're the last person I would've expected her to ambush like that. But... she has spoken to me in the past couple of weeks, since the conversation she had with you, and... she told me why she did it.
Fujiko’s downtrodden demeanor scrunches into anger for a bit longer than she wants it to.
Fujiko Mine: So she’s telling everyone else why she did it, instead of telling me? Shows how ‘highly’ she thinks of me then…
She grumbles, then catches herself a bit too late.
Fujiko Mine: Sorry. You don’t deserve that. I’m just…
Lowri Moss: Don’t worry, it’s okay.
Fujiko sighs.
Fujiko Mine: Why did she.
She doesn’t ask it as a question. Lowri takes a breath, before she replies.
Lowri Moss: Because she has a crush on you, and…
She then stops abruptly. She bites her lip, unsure whether she should say any more, or whether she has already divulged more than she should have. Fujiko’s eyes widen at Lowri’s words, her mind reeling over what she’s just heard. She waves her hands in a cross pattern.
Fujiko Mine: HOLD UP. WHAT?!
She takes a step back, her look incredulous. This catches Xena’s attention, and she turns back to look at the two champions. Fujiko looks over at her, and signs “it’s ok” in her direction. Xena’s blue-green eyes narrow, but she turns around and continues to keep people away. Fujiko lowers her voice a level, but hisses at the end of her statement.
Fujiko Mine: Are you...are you trying to mess with me right now, Lowri? Because for me to take that in- that...that makes no sense!
Lowri Moss: I know, I realise how it sounds, but it...
Again Lowri stops in mid-sentence, as she carefully considers what to say next, not wanting to worsen the situation. She then lets out a sigh.
Lowri Moss: Look, Natalie confided in me about this, and there’s more to it than just that, as you can probably tell. Rather than me going into further detail about it though, I think she really ought to be the one to explain it all to you, if you’re willing to give her the chance to do so.
She pauses to quickly take another breath, before she carries on talking about her compatriot.
Lowri Moss: I've known Natalie for... just under two years, so for less time than you have, and my relationship with her has been up and down. I've teamed with her a few times in another promotion, and we've spent time together away from the ring, but there have also been times when I've seen her backstage at shows and we've gotten into arguments - although we've never come to blows. Not yet, anyway. There have been times when I’ve doubted whether I could trust her, but on this occasion, I do believe she’s genuinely sorry for what she did to you, and I also believe her when she says that she’s going to stay away from your upcoming match with Ricky - I don’t think this is part of some ploy to rob you of your title, or anything like that.
There is a slight shake of the head from Lowri.
Lowri Moss: I’m not going to try to convince you that you should give Natalie the chance to explain everything - I know if Annie suddenly decided she wanted to try to make amends with me, I would be wary of her. But like I said, I do believe that Natalie genuinely wants to try to make things right between the two of you; you just need to decide whether or not you’re willing to give her the opportunity to do so.
A look of disgust crosses the face of the FGA Pride champion. She places her free hand on her hip and paces a little bit.
Fujiko Mine: Lowri, I don’t have an issue with meeting with her again. I honestly don’t see why I need to go hunting her down for this, but fine.
She shakes her head.
Fujiko Mine: It rings out so disingenuous that she’s so sorry for what she’s done, but she’s telling everyone on social media, instead of me. And she’s wanting to bear her soul about her feelings, but I have to hear about it from a 3rd party. Nothing against you, Lowri. I know you’re just trying to be a good friend. But if she was really some type away about this? She’d be here, talking to me about it right now. She knew I’d be here for at least one match… why isn’t she here?
Lowri Moss: I’m not sure. I did think she might be might be here, seeing as she lives in this neck of the woods, but… I don’t know. I guess she thought maybe her being here could be an unwanted distraction for you, and she didn’t want to be in any way responsible for you not winning tonight.
Unable to provide Fujiko with a definitive answer, Lowri gives a shrug of her shoulders.
Lowri Moss: I don’t know, I’m just speculating.
Fujiko appears to want to say a few things, but nothing really comes out of her mouth. She lets a groan escape her lips.
Fujiko Mine: Fine, Lowri. But if she wants to explain herself, she knows I’ll be at Capital Combat. I’ll be hanging around, win or lose. She knows where I’ll be, and she can explain herself to me. I’ll even leave Xena out of it.
A momentary silence follows, and Lowri nods, before casting a glance in the direction of Xena, who has maintained her distance throughout. She then looks back to the Pride Champion, and smiles meekly.
Lowri Moss: Sorry, Fujiko. I didn’t mean to put a damper on your evening.
Fujiko’s tone belies her words.
Fujiko Mine: You didn’t. Hey, listen...I’ve got to uh...get focusing on Ricky Valero. But it was nice getting to talk with you.
She stares away from Lowri for a few moments, but then chooses to train her gaze on her again. This time, her words and tone match more appropriate. Fujiko Mine: It’s nice to have someone in this business looking out for another’s well being, even if it’s kind of an odd situation like this one, yeah?
She can only offer Lowri a smile.
Fujiko Mine: Take care of yourself, yeah?
Lowri responds in kind, with a warm smile of her own.
Lowri Moss: Thanks, Fujiko. You too. And in case I don’t see you again beforehand, good luck against Ricky.
She gives Lowri a smile, and slowly backs away from the US Tag Team Champion.
Fujiko Mine: Good luck with your defense.
She moves back to Xena’s side, and the two of them move through the crowd until they vanish from Lowri’s sight. After watching them disappear, Lowri reaches back into her pocket, pulls out her phone, and proceeds to call her still-absent partner.
Lowri Moss: Hey, where are you?
There is a period of silence, as Lowri listens to the response that comes from Neal on the other end of the line; whatever it is that he says, it causes Lowri to frown, and there is a hint of irritation in her voice.
Lowri Moss: What do you mean, where am I? I’m exactly where I told you I would be!
She glances to either side, scanning the corridor, despite now knowing full well that Neal is not in the same vicinity as her.
Lowri Moss: No, stay where you are; I’ll come and find you.
Lowri then heads off in search of her boyfriend, with her phone still held against the side of her face, as the couple continue their conversation, while she tries to locate him.

RING ENTRANCE: “New Blood” by Zayde Wolf plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, through the curtains - and out onto the stage - walks Lowri Moss, who is greeted by a cheer. Lowri takes a moment to scan the crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her. After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron, and then steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. There are further cheers and more applause for Lowri from the fans, and she soaks in the reaction for several seconds, as she again surveys the crowd.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY: A naïve but plucky up-and-comer, living out her dream of being a professional wrestler.
STRENGTHS: 1. Hard-working: Lowri often appears to have a carefree nature, but once she gets to work, in the ring or in the gym, she works as hard as anyone, to try to be the best version of herself that she can be. 2. Dexterity: Lowri has an aptitude for wrestling, and though still raw, she possesses more finesse than may be expected of someone lacking in experience. 3. Enthusiasm: as a long-time fan, Lowri's passion for wrestling is evident to anyone who spends any time with her, and she has a strong desire to have a successful career in the sport.
WEAKNESSES: 1. Recklessness: while Lowri does her best to keep her emotions in check, it is not all too difficult to antagonise her, something that can cause her to act rashly, and which can be exploited by an opponent. 2. Inexperience: while she is very capable, Lowri has only been wrestling for two years, and so has a greater susceptibility to making errors than the more experienced opponents that she usually finds herself in the ring with. 3. Blind courage: Lowri tends to always stand up for herself, and will rarely shirk a challenge, but while this can be admirable, it can also lead to her ending up in situations that she would be better advised to avoid.
TUNATS/MANNERISMS: 1. Lowri will look to pump up the crowd, by gesturing with her arms/hands, or by shouting something like “C’mon!”

ALLIES 1. Neal Durden 2. Sadie San Francisco 3. Izzy Anders 4. Peaches 5.
FOES 1. Dom Harter 2. Annie Zellor 3. The Tenacious Little Bastard 4. Jaelynn Ramsey 5. That prick from Cambridge, Ontario. You know the one. Yeah, him.

She made her debut in the UKWF at the beginning of September, and a month later, after impressing, she was presented with an opportunity to wrestle in the US for the first time; another match in the US would follow in November, but for the time being, the UKWF was to remain Lowri's home.
However, that success was followed shortly afterwards by major upheaval, with both NKP and the UKWF closing their doors, and so to further her career, Lowri made the decision to relocate from the UK to the US, subsequently joining the rosters of Rose City Wrestling and HKW Underground. In June, Lowri became one half of the inaugural FGA United States Tag Team Champions, together with her long-time partner Neal Durden, and in the process also became only the second double champion in FGA history, while in August she became a Tag Team Champion in RCW, with Blaise Fader, as well as winning the 2018 HELL Torneo de las Legiones alongside both Neal and Blaise, with the trio becoming the Legión del HELL Champions at the same time, and she also won the 2018 World Crown Syndicate World Cup, representing Wales.

Shortly after Vertigo has gone off the air, Jessie Pederson is seen stood somewhere backstage at the PPG Paints Arena with one half of Pendragon, Lowri Moss. Dressed in a pair of jeans and a replica Wales rugby union jersey, Lowri has a smile on her face, seemingly in a much more positive mood than she was two weeks ago when she and Neal Durden were interviewed by Spencer Burke - and with good reason.
Jessie Pederson: I’m here with one half of the United States Tag Team Champions, Lowri Moss, and obviously, Lowri, neither you or your partner, Neal Durden, were in action tonight, so how did it feel for the two of you to just be spectators for a change?
Lowri Moss: Yeah, it’s actually the first time since last October that I’ve had the night off.
Lowri lets out a sigh. She then continues her response to Jessie’s question.
Lowri Moss: I was a bit disappointed not to be able to perform for the fans tonight, but I appreciate that there’s a limit to how much can be fitted into one show, and the matches in the Dynamic Duos Tournament only served to complicate that. However, although I wasn’t scheduled to compete, there was never any chance of me not being here, and so Neal and I have simply been enjoying the show as interested observers. Plus we did get to spend some time interacting with the fans by hanging out at the merch table, posing for selfies and signing autographs.
Jessie Pederson: Alright, well, I’ve got a few questions that I want to ask you, but before I go any further, I suppose I ought to congratulate you on winning the World Cup last weekend.
Upon hearing that, Lowri’s smile immediately broadens.
Lowri Moss: Thanks, Jessie! I took great pride in getting to represent Wales in the tournament, and I was…
There is then a momentary pause, while she searches for a suitable adjective.
Lowri Moss: ...completely overjoyed, to win the World Cup for my country. It was a night that I’ll never forget, and the trophy now has pride of place on my mantelpiece.
Jessie Pederson: Okay, so, turning our attention back to tonight, no sooner had the show started than a video of Dom Harter and Annie Zellor aired, who of course remain in possession of the United States tag team title belts that belong to you and Neal Durden. Can I get a reaction from you to what they had to say?
Lowri Moss: I can understand you wanting to ask me about that, Jessie - in fact, I expected you to ask me about it. However, that’s not really something that I want to talk about at the moment, as I’ve been in such a good mood for the past week or so, and I don’t want to let those two spoil it. I don’t want to dodge the question completely though - you deserve some sort of an answer - so I’ll just say this.
Lowri stops to take a breath, before continuing.
Lowri Moss: As much as I dislike the two of them, there’s no denying what they have each achieved in the tag team division here in FGA. However, over three years have now passed since either of them has been a tag champion in FGA... but a few months ago, while Dom was still licking his wounds, after what happened at A New Odyssey, and while Annie wasn’t even part of the roster, after walking out on FGA last year, Neal and I were busy winning the United States Tag Team Championship Tournament, to become the inaugural champions. And although we may not currently be in possession of the belts, we are the US Tag Team Champions, whether those two like it or not, and until someone actually beats us for the belts, we’re going to remain the champions.
Lowri pats her waist, anticipating having her half of the United States tag team titles wrapped around that part of her body again before too long.
Lowri Moss: I can’t say I’m at all surprised that Dom didn’t keep his promise though.
Another sigh follows, but she is then quick to add an additional comment.
Lowri Moss: They’re both so full of shit.
Ignoring that last remark from Lowri, Jessie asks her a further question.
Jessie Pederson: May I ask, what is this promise that was referred to by Dom, and now you?
A wry smile crosses Lowri’s face, as she begins to tell the story behind the aforementioned promise.
Lowri Moss: Pretending to be one half of the United States Tag Team Champions isn’t the only fraudulent act that Dom has committed where I’m concerned: around a year ago, he started to claim that he has Welsh heritage. He doesn’t though, of course - it’s just another way for him to try to antagonise me.
She puts her hands on her hips.
Lowri Moss: At first, Dom claimed that he was half Wesh on his father’s side, before that later changed to him supposedly being half Welsh on his mother’s side. However, earlier this year, he attempted to take the sham a step further, when he declared that he wanted to represent Wales in the WCS World Cup. Now, I would like to think that the World Crown Syndicate wouldn’t have allowed him to get away with that deception, but I wasn’t going to take any chances, and so I put my name forward to represent Wales instead, to stop him from making a mockery of my country.
Lowri glances off to one side for a second or two, before looking back to Jessie, and continuing.
Lowri Moss: You see, Jessie, if it wasn’t for Dom, I might not have even been a participant in the World Cup, let alone have gone on to win it.
Thinking about the role that her biggest foe unwittingly played in her recent success causes Lowri’s smile to widen into a grin.
Lowri Moss: Anyway, after I was named as the Welsh representative - on my birthday, of all days - Dom said that Wales deserved better. I told him that I would win the World Cup, and he promised that if I did, he would admit that he was wrong; I kept my word, but like I said, I’m not surprised that he didn’t keep his.
She gives a shake of her head.
Lowri Moss: I’ve also told Dom that Neal and I will get our belts back from him and Annie, and believe me, I’m going to keep my word on that one as well, it’s just a matter of time.
Lowri then takes her hands off her hips, as Jessie moves the conversation onto a different topic.
Jessie Pederson: Another subject I wanted to discuss with you is the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. I interviewed you ahead of your defense last month against Marlon Cure, and this is the first chance I’ve had to speak to you since that match, so I wanted to ask how you feel about the end of you reign as champion.
Lowri Moss: There you go, Jessie: bringing down my mood.
The reply from Lowri is said in jest, but Jessie does not realise that, and she gets a little flustered.
Jessie Pederson: Sorry, Lowri. I...
Lowri interrupts Jessie, reassuring the reporter.
Lowri Moss: It’s okay, Jessie. Either you or Spencer were bound to ask me about it eventually.
She then lets out a sigh once more, with her smile now having faded. She has come to terms with no longer being the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, for the most part, but there is clearly still some lingering disappointment.
Lowri Moss: I stand by what I said to you prior to the match four weeks ago, Jessie. I was the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion for five and a half months, but - for a variety of reasons - I was only able to have one successful defence, and that’s something that I’m far from satisfied about; I wanted to have a noteworthy reign, like the ones that Izzy and Sadie had before me, but... I failed.
She lowers her gaze, looking down at the floor.
Jessie Pederson: As the former champion, you are of course entitled to a return match for the championship; do you plan to exercise that right?
Lowri looks back up at Jessie, responding with a shake of her head.
Lowri Moss: Not any time soon, if at all. There’s a part of me that wants to regain the title, so that I can then make my second reign everything that I wanted my first reign to be, but… I’ve been in FGA for eighteen months, and I’ve spent the vast majority of that time competing for the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship, either as a challenger or as the champion, but now… I think it’s time for me to move on. Besides, the US tag titles are what my focus needs to be on now.
Jessie nods in understanding.
Jessie Pederson: Okay, there’s one more thing that I would like to ask you about. As you’ve already alluded to, tonight’s show included the final four matches in the opening round of the Dynamic Duos Tournament, and there’s the possibility that whoever wins the tournament could go on to challenge you and Neal for the United States tag team titles.
Before Jessie can get to her question, Lowri interjects.
Lowri Moss: Provided we’re still the champions by then - which we fully intend to be.
Jessie Pederson: Right. But rather than asking which of the eight remaining teams you think is going to win the tournament, I wanted to know, which of those teams would you most like to face off with?
Lowri takes a moment to consider her response.
Lowri Moss: I guess I could just sit on the fence and say that I would be happy to take on any of the teams that are left in the tournament… and that’s true, I would, but if I had to pick one of them, then I think it would have to be Fujiko and Izzy. I mean, I admire both of them, for different reasons, and I think me and Neal versus Fujiko and Izzy could be… it could be something special.
Her smile becomes more apparent, as she contemplates the prospect of that particular matchup.
Lowri Moss: Alright, Jessie, I think I probably ought to go and see where Neal has gotten to - unless you’ve got any more questions for me...
Jessie Pederson: No, that’s it for now. Thanks for your time, Lowri.
Lowri Moss: You’re welcome.
Lowri then smiles at Jessie before wandering off, and the scene cuts away.
