Huge thanks to TJ and Dim for writing the main event, as well as Seth for writing the pre-show tag match.
I also want to thank Dim, Tim, TJ, Benny, Paige, Pete, Cris, OD, Tom, Dom, Flex, Lou, John and Seth for all of their segments on the show.
Feel free to discuss.
PS - I'm not sure if any of you have caught this before. But you can actually vote for two matches on PPVs.

Okay, I'm going to do my best to cover this whole thing. I think I might just cover some major points for now, and come back for a more comprehensive review. OOF was this a show.
*PreshowI actually really like the summarized matches. I think that for normal shows and pre-shows they can be used, as they help get the point across and as a whole can be easier to complete for matchwriters. I understand doing it the opposite way, but for sake of ease I wouldn't mind a switch to summaries.
*The only thing that put a dampener on the best of five series was Brian's handler announcing his retirement from efedding (not faulting him at all on that front, real life being more important than the game) as it kind of spoiled the ending, but I really like how it was handled. Tyler crawling back from the 0-2 deficit to win the series is a great sub-story to him challenging Seth Iser. The feud between the two of them should be pretty good. As a match, it really set the tone and theme for the night. Having the submission spot with Styker on the receiving end (his arm almost dropping to give the victory to Storm) was a nice change of pace. My only negative is that I don't think that with 25 seconds left, Storm would spend time doing the "Be witness" taunt before the end combo, especially with how resilient Stryker was being up to that point. I also liked that this 30 min ironman contest went only one fall. Good contest.
*I thought the US tag team title match did a good job of showcasing Susan and Delikado, while also recognizing that the tag champs had other title concerns later in the night. Silk & Cyanide come in just towards an ending sequence to spoil it. The no-contest was the right way to go, IMO. The former champs feel slighted by both challengers and current champions, so why not?
*The 15 championship bout was a shorter affair (due to the short time limit) and I like that it felt like it was short because of that. While it was a short match, I felt like it showcased both champ & challenger well. It also did well to cover the history between these two. The HEEL tactics by Ramsey were classic, but not overused.
*The MAL championship and the 15 championships were a nice break before we hit the HUGE tag team match between the Chaotics and Pendragon. This match really showcased the back and forth between Marlon and Piper, with Piper drawing on her knowledge of how Marlon wrestles and learning his patterns a bit. I was surprised that Marlon took the L, but it wasn't unpleasant.
*This tag team match. I may have to come back to hit the points on this when I have more time, but jesus. Kudos to the matchwriter on this one. It's these kind of matches that make me love FGA. Durden's knee getting worked over had me worried that we would see the chaotics retain (but they've been fantastic with those belts so it would've been cool) but Lowri is one of my favs in FGA and to see her catch more gold is always dope. Interesting to see if this is going to continue between Pendragon and the now former champs...
*Pride title match was pretty good. I caught on to the concept pretty quickly and like it. I don't want to see it again for a bit (to build it up as a more intense alternative to a reg Pride match) but I do like it coming into the stable of FGA's match-types. The Milwaukee crowd getting fully behind Izzy was a cool touch, as was them asking her not to tap, so she doesn't (but passes out instead). Also love the DDT false finish. I love it when heels get cocky and then shocked after their primary finish doesn't work. After beating Izzy by cheating, Seth Iser gets a clean victory over the former Undisputed champion.
*The US title match was a pretty classic matchup between James and Salem. I saw what James was trying to do with his new heel persona, and I like that it showed him being a bit more vicious than cocky here. Salem winning and tossing James against the dumpster may signal the end of the feud between the two of them. I'm curious to where James goes from here...
----running out of time, will expand on the rest in an edit------ * Was surprised to see Jimmy take the loss against Savannah. But Paige works hard on her segments and such, so it wasn't an unpleasant surprise. I really like these two feuding, and I hope it continues.
*I really liked the GRR this year. I felt like it highlighted and elevated talent in a way that will be more beneficial as a whole. I felt like it was used to help fill in those gaps from title changes/wrestlers leaving. Tip of the cap to Kendall setting the new record. It was super refreshing to have the winner be someone like Marlon, as the past few winners have been people near the main event scene already. So I'm really interested to see where these new developments take FGA...
*Main event: Dim and I wrote this match, so all I'm gonna say is ALL PROPS TO DIM on this one. He is a-m-a-z-i-n-g to work with, and I can't thank him enough.
Also hella thanks to Terr for getting this show done. This was a huge show, and I appreciate you putting in the effort greatly.
Show grade: A.

Really good show, agree with Teige on the preshow stuff.
Felt like a lot of stuff started coming to a head. From my personal perspective the results were really cool, far as Piper showing her mind games could pay off in the end against one of the big rising stars-- Marlon coming back to eliminate her from the GRR was cool as payback on his way to breaking through to the big one. Far as Kendall, was pleasantly shocked by her showing, felt I could really see how desperate she was with her slump and the underdog fighting from underneath to keep holding on, keep holding on every time she was almost eliminated with that huge showing obviously. The Dom aspect to her elim too was cool for those who know the history with those chars.
But far as breaking through, Seth getting the clean win over Izzy, Savannah beating Jimmy, Fujiko finally winning the big one, Marlon winning the GRR, etc. it felt like there's a lot of chars seeing this show as a step through to that next phase. That's not to discount there being a great tag title match with Pendragon and Chaotics that felt huge too, and a bunch of other stuff that I feel like a dick for skipping over but I wanted to at least post something.

The Dom aspect to her elim too was cool for those who know the history with those chars. TEAM CARBDOG!
Favorite Match(es):Pendragon/Chaotics and Savannah/Jimmy stick out to me, but all the matches were well written. These two just closed out long chapters and I like that. Favorite Segment(s):Again, probably Savannah's impassioned speech before the International Heavyweight title match. Most of the speeches before the Rumble added to the match too, so kudos to those. Most Memorable Moment(s):The aforementioned stuff aside, Salem throwing James against the dumpster was emphatic. Kendall's decent run in the rumble. Madison just helicoptering everybody! Wrestler(s) Of The Show:Marlon Cure, Savannah Taylor, Seth Iser, Pendragon, Sadie San Francisco. What Do You Think Happens Next:Closing Thoughts:* Zack Gall getting eliminated so soon after the weeks building up to his debut is disappointing. * I would be a little disappointed about Annie not getting any eliminations, but I can work with the heel shit that occurred during the match and after her elimination. * Lot of title changes for one show. * Kudos to Marlon Cure for winning the Rumble, looking forward to seeing where he goes from here. * Well written show overall, and definitely worth the wait.

Great show from start to finish, masterful even. My personal favorite match was Evan/Fujiko, simply because I find myself getting especially caught up in the story and interaction between the two (it's like Twilight but, y'know, good) though it being for a top belt obviously adds to the excitement/drama. It's been clear to me for a good while that this fed is a labor of time and love for a lot of people, myself included, and this show really hammered that point home. I can't wait to see where everyone goes with their stories from here!
