We cut to a pre-taped segment where we find Johnny Blayze in a dimly lit room joined by two unknown men. Johnny's holding a candle in his hand and it illuminates a series of scars along his face. One of the men reads aloud from a book.
Unknown Man #1: I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame. WHO can strip off his outer armor? WHO can come within his double mail? WHO can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth there is terror. His strong scales are his pride, shut with a tight seal. One is so near to another; that no air can come between them. They are joined one to another; They clasp each other and cannot be separated. His sneezes flash forth light and out of his mouth go burning torches; sparks of fire leap forth. Out of his nostrils smoke goes forth; as from a boiling pot and burning rushes. In his neck lodges strength; and dismay leaps before his. The folds of his flesh are joined together; firm and immovable. His heart is as hard as a stone; even as hard as a lower millstone.
He shuts the book close and tucks it under his arm.
Unknown Man #1: This is all that future generations will ever need to know about Johnny Blayze after what will transpire at All-Star Showdown Two.
Johnny Blayze: Alexia Brandt thought she knew me yet she, just like everyone before her, will pay the price for sheer ignorance. While others may shudder from the pain I've absorbed as of late, I accept it and embrace it.
He raises his other hand wrapped in lengths of metal chain, stained with blood. He hits himself with it opening up one of the scars on his face.
Johnny Blayze: The markings that I leave on my body will be a constant reminder of the life I've chosen and the look on Alexia Brandt's face in Secaucus, NJ when all is said and done will forever be burned into my psyche to show the mental instability I can bring out in a person when I do my best work.
Johnny blows out the flame and a backlight illuminates him and the two men.
Johnny Blayze: Contrary to what others may want you to think, what you see here has nothing to do with titles or victories inside the ring. My motivation in life is not fancy cars or diamond rings. I leave that for the Chris Qs and Chandler Scotts of the world.
Unknown Man #2: This brotherhood is bonded by blood but not that which courses thru our veins. No no no... We are linked thru the sanguine that we spill of our enemies, whether it be old faces like Pat Gordon Junior or new ones like Ms. Alexia Brandt. FGA thought they had problems before with The Murder… It is to laugh. Be prepared for a great force, one that has no remorse and seeks pain as it's nightly prize.... One by one all the bodies in this company will have our mark on them. Johnny has already seen success as shown by the constant whispering of his name in circles and the new era of manipulation to come… he will usher it in as the first and only REAL champion FGA will ever see.
Johnny Blayze: Everything they said I was going to do, I did. Everything they said I wasn't capable of, I have.
They said "Blayze could never defeat PG Junior" … I did.
They said "Blayze can't lead his team to victory" … and I did. Through the simplest of machinations, I brought four other men the taste of victory. Tainted with a tinge of betrayal but some fires need a little stoking in order to produce the ultimate sources of heat.
When I debuted in this company, I promised I would make an impact. Ask anyone and they will all say the same…
Unknown Man #1: Johnny Blayze is making waves in the pond of FGA.
Unknown Man #2: Alexia Brandt, and the rest of you fools in the locker room, when I say you better cry havoc... I suggest you listen, because now we let slip the dogs of war. This is far from over. It's barely even begun.
Johnny Blayze: And at All-Star Showdown…Alexia Brandt… you've fallen into my trap all too well.
You and I…both with a leather dog collar around our necks…attached to one another by a fifteen foot long steel chain.
No where to go…
No way of escape…
You _WILL_ be mine...
Pause.
Johnny Blayze: ALL MINE to do what _I_ see fit with.
Unknown Man #1 claps his hands and throws back a barrage of shrill laughter!
Unknown Man #1: Can you feel it? The pain and degradation suffered on the backs of many; the torture of human flesh. I can already smell the rotting stink of it in my hair. I may never forget the ear piercing screams caused in agony by the writhing in pain of Johnny's "pets".
Unknown Man #2: But all shall be worth it, mark my words FGA. Because it will pay off as Johnny goes on to become the FGA Champion and arise to his stock as leader of this great and terrible federation. How else should it be, this baptism by fire, that the fans of Frontier Grappling Arts still do not believe that Johnny Blayze is the deserving Champion? What else must he do to prove how badly he wants it? Oh the time is coming my good people, and before too long we will stand as the Champion, rightful and true, and there will be NO ONE who can dispute our greatness!
Johnny Blayze: Let those who conspire against us speak now...
Unknown Man #1: Or forever hold their tongues.
All three laugh with evil in their voices as we fade out.
